A long time ago, even before the Revolution, a clutch of Hydras were born to an unknown mother. The mother dragon left them in a small, warm cave, so that they might sleep in peace untill adulthood and wisdom of the world. There they hibernated untill something roused them from their hibernation, a strange, unnatural force, brought about by mortals. Light streamed into their den, and they scattered about. Years of erosion brought them closer and closer to the surface untill the seal was finaly broken. However, they were still you, uneducated in the ways of being. They fled in fear, abandoning eachother, running till they could no more. Eventualy, they had to stop. Each one looked around at the creatures surrounding them. The humans, though weak by themselves, were truly terrifying. Afraid of standing out and being slain, they took the form of these mortals. They followed the lifestyle of the humans of Old Forge as close they could, but when they are finally confronted by other mythical beasts, they have no choice but to work together to defend thenselves their new human families.

Extra info/Important details: This roleplay takes place in the borough of Old Forge, Pennsylvania. They have REALLY good pizza there.
There are nine Hydra children; 4 boys, 4 girls, and one who isn't sure about what they are.
Since dragons age at a different rate than humans do, the human appearence of a Hydra depends on the maturity of their mind. Thus two Hydras of the same age could look like a toddler and a teen.
Most or all of the Hydras have found a foster home to stay. More than one Hydra may live in the same household. They may all live together, for all I care.
The Hydras have forgoten their old form and stay as humans untill provoked into battle.
Around the neck of each there is a necklace of eight pendants.
Mythical beasts do include Minotaurs, other Dragons, Ogres, Trolls, Unicorns and Nightmares, and anything else that usualy should not appear in real life and can possibly harm you.
