Role
"Just one of the girls~"

Gender
Female
"I think I already said that I am a girl..."

Personality
Serafim is a lovely girl, really, she's just a bit different from other girls, but that doesn't make her any less lovely~ Most people don't understand Serafim Dearly's way of thinking. They see her, the way she dresses, the way she struts around without a care and they are quick to judge the poor girl. They call her weird, strange, loopy, but she's not, she just sees things differently than others...
Truely, Sera is actually quite right in the head, in fact, she's more so than most people. She's very intelligent and she is a deep thinker. She likes to ask questions and form her opinions on facts. She's kind and very level headed. And in hearing that, you may think, then why do people think differently of this poor girl? Well, true, she is all of those things, but that's on the inside, on the outside, she's actually quite a different person.
Sera likes to keep her thoughts to herself, and she's quiet, only really speaks when spoken to, and to those who don't quite know her, she seems shy. She keeps her feelings inside, and to those around her, she may look blank and dreamy, but those few who really know Serafim Dearly know that there's really a lot going on in that blank looking pretty little head of hers.
When she speaks to most people, she sounds as if she's in a trance, and she likes to mess with people and talk in riddles to confuse them. She has a confident stride in her walk, as if she knows exactly where she's going, even if she doesn't. She's a carefree, 'go where the wind takes her' kind of girl. A/N: Think Luna Lovegood, lol)
Though, like most people, Sera has another side, only revealed to those she's truly close to. When with her friends and family, some of the haze around her seems to be lifted. She speaks more and will state her opinions rather easily and bluntly, though she's still very sweet, it's just in her nature. She's sort of the mother of the group, protective and caring to her friends, keeping them close, and making sure that they are comfortable.
Sera is very slow to anger, and as most of her emotions, she's very good at keeping it hidden if she's upset, and it's almost impossible to tell if something's bothering her. Although, she is an awful liar.

Brief Description
Sera really isn't much to look at. She doesn't have a spectacular body like some girls her age, in fact, she's actually quite flat chested, and her hips are nothing special. She's quite petite, standing just a bit over 5 feet tall. She has long, thin (somewhat) graceful limbs, and a girly look to her. Her face is soft and round, with cute features and rosy cheeks. Serafim's blonde hair is slightly wavy and falls just under her shoulders, and her bug, childlike eyes are hazel and framed by long, dark lashes. She almost always has a dreamy look to her, as if she's half asleep, and she usually has a dainty little smile on her lips, as if she finds everything around her slightly amusing, it's just the way she is, Serafim isn't nearly as strange on the inside as she is on the outside.
Her wardrobe differs from most girls her age, usually consisting of long, modest skirts, and elaborately patterned tops. Though, depending on how creative she feels on a certain day, her outfits may get much more creative. She likes to play around with her appearance, so you can never really know what she's going to wear, though her style is usually earthy colors and dangly accessories.

History
Serafim has been living a pretty normal life. She's a military child, her father being in the army, and she's very proud of him. Her mother was pretty much a stay at home mom, taking care of Sera and her younger sister, Rose. She grew up in a nice, quiet town, and she enjoyed being there, though she didn't make many friends at her school (of course, she didn't mind). She usually spent her free time gardening in her large backyard or helping her mother take care of Rose.
When Rose was old enough that her mother didn't need to pay as much attention to her, she began to see how the kids at Sera's school treated her daughter and decided to send Sera to the boarding school in hopes that staying with other girls in a dorm would allow her to more easily make friends.
It took a while, but after a bit of time, Serafim did in fact make friends with the four other girls that she lived with, and over time they all became very close.

Lol, I just put "yellow" down...

Other
Nope.

Fireflies
You would not believe your eyes
If ten million fireflies
Lit up the world as I fell asleep
Cause they'd fill the open air
And leave tear drops everywhere
You'd think me rude but I would just stand and
Stare

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns, slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Cause everything is never as it seems

Cause I'd get a thousand hugs
From ten thousand lightning bugs
As they tried to teach my how to dance
A foxtrot above my head
A sock-hop beneath my bed
The disco ball is just hanging by a thread
(Thread, thread...)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns, slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Cause everything is never as it seems
(When I fall asleep)

Leave my door open just a crack
(Please take me away from here)
Cause I feel like such an insomniac
(Please take me away from here)
Why do I tire of counting sheep?
(Please take me away from here)
When I'm far too tired to fall asleep
(Ha-ha)

To ten million fireflies
I'm weird cause I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell
(Said farewell)
But I'll know where several are
If my dreams get real bizarre
Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar
(Jar, jar, jar...)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns, slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Cause everything is never as it seems
(When I fall asleep)
[x2]

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns, slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Because my dreams are bursting at the seams

So begins...

Serafim Dearly

Serafim glided into the living room where four of her closest friends waited for the movie to start. In one hand, she balanced a tray of snacks, English Tea Cakes that she had made earlier that day. In the other she held up a dvd, waving it around for the girls to see.

"Before I put this in-" she began in a dreamy voice, "can anyone tell me who chose the horror movie over the comedy at the video store? I don't remember there being a vote." She smiled all the same, setting the tray down on the coffee table in front of them all and kneeling down on the floor in front of the TV. "Help yourself, but leave some for me."

She dug her nails into the plastic on the new dvd, and pulled it off before opening the case and pulling it out. The picture on it revealed a young girl with a butchers knife, covered in blood. She smiled quaintly as she looked at it, "how funny, this doesn't look realistic, and the blood is obviously fake." Sera inserted the movie and turned on the TV. For a second all there was on the screen was static, but then it seemed to short out and the screen glowed white. She cocked her head to the side, looked back at the girls, and then returned her attention to the screen again. "Queer, do you suppose I broke it?" She asked, leaning in and looking behind the old thing at the wires. "Perhaps a mouse chewed through a wire? Hmm... but it was working fine earlier, maybe it's part of the movie?" She stood up and turned to her friends, reaching down and grabbing one of the treats, nibbling on the edge before asking, "maybe one of you should look at it, I'm not really good with these things."

Sarah Cartwright

Sarah sat at her desk in the left corner of her room sketching. She was drawing a simple tree that was outside her window, and it was going along well enough. She glanced at the clock, seeing she had a little bit of time before she was going to watch a movie with her friends. She could smell something good coming from the kitchen, she assumed Sera was making some sort of treat. She tucked her hair behind her right ear, and finished up the tree, cleaning up its edges. Sighing she put it in the pile of her other drawings, and wandered out into the living room.

She was the first girl to find herself to the couch, and she plopped down in the corner of it. Making herself comfortable, she curled up somewhat, tucking her legs halfway under her. Her arm leaned on the soft arm of the tan coloured couch. She propped up her head as she waited for the other girls to fill in. Sera was last to come in, carrying a tray of what looked to be mini cakes, and she held up the movie in the other. It was a horror movie, which Sarah didn't really mind, though she would've preferred the comedy.

The cover of it looked somewhat cheesy, Sarah agreed that it did look a bit fake. Drifting into her own thought for a bit, she hadn't notice the TV malfunction until Sera said something.
"Maybe one of you should look at it, I'm not really good with these things."

Sarah stood up, trying to be helpful, though she didn't really know much either.. "Hmm.. I can try.." She paced over to it, firmly staring at it. Shrugging, she then gave it a smack on the top, which sent a fuzzy line to run down the screen, then it continuing to glow. She frowned, taking a step back to give it another look.

Storm Archer

Storm let out a sigh, throwing another crumbled up peice of paper to the wall as she couldn't seemed to find intrest in what she was writing. Honestly, how hard was it to write about a girl, a demon, and a runaway experiment?! Appearantly, pretty hard. Throwing her idea book to the wall out of frustation, she stomped her way to the living room to already see Sarah there. She sat on the other end of the couch with a sigh as she needed some kind of inspiration.

"Before I put this in can anyone tell me who chose the horror movie over the comedy at the video store? I don't remember there being a vote." Storm pushed her hair behide her shoulders as she raised her hand.

"Guilty as charged my friend!" Storm teased as she slowly relized at some point the others had came and sat too. Watching the TV suddenly become fuzzy, Storm sighed.

"Maybe one of you should look at it, I'm not really good with these things."

Storm just looked at Serafim, tilting her head as if saying in her own way 'I have no freaking clue how to fix it.' She looked at Sarah as she got up to try and fix it. "Maybe a mouse did bit the cord. Sarah, try and unplug the cord!" Storm sat up, leaning forward with a rised eyebrow. "Or maybe try another movie. I have a few anime ones in my bedroom..." Storm offered, getting up after eating one of treats.

C.C.

Chloris sat up in her bed. The other girls were out and about the dorm so she figured she'd join them. She grabbed her laptop and sauntered out to the others, plopping her lanky form in a chair, snuggling the fabric.

"Before I put this in can anyone tell me who chose the horror movie over the comedy at the video store? I don't remember there being a vote."

"I don't either, bro but it's all fake anyways." She gave a half grin as she reached over to the table and took a teacake. "But anyways, I really don't care." She said, biting into the little cake. She gave a purr like noise and took a couple more. The TV became fuzzy and she set her laptop down.

"Maybe one of you should look at it, I'm not really good with these things."

"I'll do it." she got up and knelt beside Sera, looking the thing over. "Nothin' looks broken... It's probably the bad movie, guys." She stated, leaning back on her hands. "That's alright, I suppose... You guys cool with Stormy's anime?"

Ashton Knight

Feeling a sort of tingling over his body, that he didn't exactly recall having, Ashton felt himself being torn apart and put back together. It was a strange feeling, but he couldn't say he wasn't slightly enjoying it. One moment, he was somewhere, the next he was another, not knowing what or why. He felt a pressure in his head, and everything around him was a blinding white light. Was he dying? He didn't even remember living. The preconceived knowledge he hadn't remembered learning was all that was keeping his sanity, and suddenly he felt his eyes shoot open, and adjust to the change.

He was material. He was something solid now. He clenched and unclenched his fists, staring at what his mind told him were fingers. Beside him stood other boys, who he didn't remember meeting, but he felt very close to them. He could tell you their names. Which he then wonder what his own name was. Ashton. He thought, glad to know his name at least.

Looking around the room, he realized they weren't alone. Four very shocked girls stood staring at them. He swallow, hard. Feeling cautious, he stiffened his posture a little. They all seemed to be sitting around a TV, which he made a connection that he'd come from. Hillary then sat down, and Ashton backed up a bit, into a wall.

Hitting the wall startled him a bit, which caused him to sneeze. Which he'd then realized, was bad. Suddenly after his sneeze, the TV that had been behind him combusted, falling into pieces on the ground, luckily not hitting or injuring anyone. He froze, somewhat shocked, he assumed that it was his fault that'd just happened. "Uh.. S-sorry.." he stammered out, still a bit shaken up by everything.

Arie Kirkland
What was he even doing beforehand? Reading? Enjoying the sound of chatter around him as he listened to everyone talk? He didn’t even know. But one second he was sitting, minding his own business, when all of a sudden everything went white. And then pitch black. White, as in the purest of light that you can find. The type of light that many see when the tell of dying and ‘seeing a dark tunnel leading into bright light’. Except it went from Arie’s colorful world to white. There was no tunnel, no warning. Nothing. He got the sense of being pulled, pulled into the darkness that followed the light, as if chasing it away. Think of walking into a darkly lit house after standing in the bright sun. It looks odd and dark only because of the fact that human eyes take longer to get used to new surroundings than other animals, like cats. Think of that, and then think ten times worse. Arie wasn’t in the sun, he was blinded by light. And then swallowed by what he thought was darkness. Unnerving, that was for sure. But, almost as soon as it started, but really to him it seemed like it lasted forever, the journey was over.

Landing flat on his back, Arie wrinkled his nose and rolled onto his stomach, finding 4 young girls, roughly about his age staring at him in shock. Oh? he thought with a mental grim smile, glancing at each of them before sitting up fully. Now what the hell happened? he groaned lightly and tilted his head down, avoiding all the gazed being bored into his skin. God, they made him feel so….dirty. And uncomfortable. Just…stop staring at him, please.
