Tomoka Eternity's Story

"Ok well it's time to go now slowpoke!" Maki rushed to the door, their school wasn't all that far away so the two usually walked. Maki fell down, bumping headfirst into Tomoka who paused, her fist still in a knocking pose. "Good Morning. Maki." Tomoka smirked. "Oh hey!" Maki smiled, rubbing her head.

Tomoka bent down and helped Maki up. "Did you finish your manga pages?" Tomoka asked. "Yes!" Maki went in her backpack and emerged with about 15 pages of some doujinshi she drew.

Maki and Tomoka had always been close despite the glaring age difference. Tomoka made moves on Maki quite often but Maki just took it as a joke. It wasn't as if Tomoka necessarily minded but it did get in the way of their relationship moving further.

"Oh hey Ryoko hurry up if your going to walk with us." Maki called. "Or we could walk alone. And maybe do a bit of this and that on the way." Tomoka murmured to Maki. "T-Tomoka!" Maki turned red. Normally this kind of thing wouldn't cause her to turn completely red but her and Ryoko did just...

Tomoka took the response the wrong way, guessing that either Maki had fallen for her or that when Maki confessed to Kyouya they did a bit of this and that. Tomoka knew Maki had confessed but never received message of the outcome. But Tomoka and Kyouya being the good friends they are she knew she'd find out eventually.

"Yeah, sure, I'll walk with you both." Ryoko said hurriedly, as she rushed to the door. She did her best not to openly glare at Tomoka, and nodded at her sister. "I'm ready if you are, Maki."

Truth be told, Ryoko didn't care for Tomoka. At all, really. Her constant flirting with her little sister had always gotten on her nerves, which did not endear her to Maki's friend at all. And, well, if she was honest with herself....she also resented Tomoka for being able to be so...open, with her feelings. Before last night, Ryoko never had the courage to act out on her feelings to Maki in any way.

Still, things were different now. Weren't they? She hoped they were...

"Kay lets gooo!" Maki excitedly ran out the door. Tomoka, never necessarily cared for Ryoko since she took up so much of Maki's thoughts. But she had no reason to right out dislike her. Tomoka followed Maki outside assuming since she looked so happy things with Kyouya went well. "So Maki how was it last night?" She said jokingly and Maki turned red again. "H-how did you know about that!" Maki answered. Tomoka once again took her words the wrong way.

"So it's true. Did you two go all the way?" Tomoka teased. "Um I don't know... what would all the way be?" Maki asked. Tomoka smirked, not pressing any further. Maki never actually realized the two were talking about completely different things.

Tomoka reached over and grabbed Maki's hand, before she could protest Tomoka spoke, "I have to do this now before anyone steals you away from me."

Your such a tease Tomoka! Jeez.

Two things became immediately clear to Ryoko: one, Maki was WAY to dense for her own good, and two, she had to shut her sister the HELL up right now!

Ryoko bumped her shoulder not so politely against Tomoka, and looked over at her sister, a force smile on her face.

"Come on! We're gonna be late if we hang back and talk all day. Let's go!"

And for the love of all that was holy she DEARLY hoped her sister would shut up. She didn't want anyone to find out about what happened last night! Once Tomoka found out that things hadn't gone well between Maki and Kyouya, she would start to ask certain questions, and Ryoko didn't want her or her sister to have to answer those uncomfortable questions.

Tomoka glared at Ryoko for ruining the moment but walked faster anyways. Maki walked faster as well and soon they had arrived at the school. But unfortunately Kyouya was there waiting for them. It wasn't unusual or unexpected, Tomoka Kyouya and Maki were friends. Though that didn't mean Maki was quite ready for it.

"Hey Kyou!" Tomoka waved as Kyouya walked towards them. "Hey." Kyouya half-smiled at Tomoka, then directed it to Maki.

"Hi." Maki said softly, begging Ryoko with her eyes to help. Ryoko!! What do I do!!! Maybe I should just say I have to pee or something...

Well, it seemed Maki wasn't ready to interact with Kyouya just yet. That was understandable, though. Now, how to help her sister...

"Oh, that reminds me!" Ryoko hurriedly thought of an excuse, as she flashed Maki's friends a fake smile. "Maki had some homework she wanted me to look over before she went to class. Better take care of that now!"

And, before Tomoka or Kyouya could protest or otherwise question her excuse, Ryoko led her sister away. They crossed down a few hallways before the elder sister led Maki into a girls bathroom.

"Are you okay, Maki?" Ryoko asked, concern in her voice. "I can understand if you're not ready to talk to Kyouya yet..."

Oh, that reminded her. She still had to beat up that bastard for breaking Maki's innocent little heart. But, that would be best served for another day. For now, her little sister needed her.

"Yeah I'm totally fine!" Maki gave her sister two thumbs up and a exaggerated smile. "I just sorta thought I was ready...... But it's completely okay now!" Maki assured her sister.

"But um Ryoko......... I wanted to uh......." Maki hesitated. Well sis wouldn't laugh at me would she? It's just a regular kind of question I'm sure people ask all the time.

"What are we? Ya know, besides sisters." Maki asked, it was a normal question..... right? Personally she could never imagine anyone else saying it but she was sure someone must have before her.
