Personality
Ian isn't a quiet kid, but he isn't a loud one either. He's the intuitive type. He'd rather keep his mouth until he knows he has all the right answers. He's not one to boast or show off but that also keeps him from asking for help. He doesn't like appearing weak, therefore he doesn't show his emotions very well.
We all have a story to tell
History
Ian. A loner, if you will, grew up in an a broken home. Living with his mother and his younger sister after his father had passed away from alcoholism, there was nothing left for or of his family. A broken home with barely no income and too many bills was causing a strain on Ian. He was in and out of the hospital for immensely painful migraines. He found that he couldn't stop breaking down, and everyone he touched around him was breaking down as well. Ian's sister became blind, sending his family into even more debt due to medical bills pilled onto his own. It wasn't soon long after that Ian discovered that he was in the one that had blinded her. He had heard on the news that there are kids being taken away, freaks are being captured left and right because of some sort of abilities that they have. Ian connected the two and began running experiments.
Ian's experiments were conducted on animals. He'd take mice, birds, and he'd glare at them in the eyes. But nothing would happen. Then he discovered it was touch. He'd touch the mice and nothing would happen. But not long after, he'd have mice running into walls and stumbling over themselves. He'd whistle out for his birds but no response. Their hearing, he realized, was gone. Ian stumbled upon the fascinating ability to disable two of the five senses. He wondered if there was more. After researching said abilities and freaks, Ian found out about camp Arzura. He packed his things overnight and made his way towards the camp. By morning break, he was half way there. By nightfall, he was standing at the gates and ready to learn more.
