She tends to walk with an air of slight boredom, always looking as if there's someplace more important to be, not that there ever is. That's if she's doesn't look like she's slept in days, which is something that's rather hard for her. She takes small steps, for the length of her legs make her look as if she's galloping otherwise. She is hardly ever in a hurry and her eyes face front and narrowed, occasionally glancing at a passerby to tease their fear. She smiles every so often, but the laziness or ease of her expression tends to put people off when coupled with her piercing eyes. Despite all of her issues, there is a sensuality about the way she is. Everything is slow and deliberate. She finds herself dressing in jewel tones in pretty patterns and fit, things that she was never allowed to wear otherwise. Most of the time, she looks more like a belly dance than a villain mastermind, but she dresses in the way she feels, complicated and bright. She absolutely despises shoes so unless she is in a strange place she is barefoot, hardly ever worn a shoe in her life.
She considers her tattoos as the best idea she has ever had and they almost completely cover her body. It took quite sometime to complete them, but it was so worth it. She wanted to be able to see the flow of energy of her own body at all times. The piercings were 100% unnecessary of course, but it went with her look and she enjoys the looks she gets. To be so different after nearly blending into the wall, it almost made life worth living. Her hair is her favorite physical characteristic. It hangs low to her thighs and is extremely thick with large waves. She take care of her hair almost as much as she cares for herself. Her eyes, though, are usually the first thing that people notice for they are where her power begins, at least in her opinion. They appear to glow when she uses her powers and are an ice cold blue at normal times.

|{General Style}|
Eris' style is a tad "exotic". She dresses in jewel tones with silks and chiffons that drape and hug. She wears casual attire when necessary, but she finds her normal style much more appealing.
|{Hair}|
Black
|{Height||Weight}|
6'0||145
|{Eyes}|
Pale Blue
|{Scars}|
She has several scars in the crook of her arms and behind her knees where she was poked and prodded. There is also a large round scar, where they tapped directly into her brain stem
|{Tattoos||Piercings}|
Eris has several tattoos covering her body that are symmetrical(occurring on both sides of her body). She also has a nose piercing and both ears are pierced

Eris has quite a different personality, as if she was made of multiple people. She's quite unpredictable in her moods, even to herself. For the most part, she's calm to the point of stoicism, it's just the expression that she is used to wearing. Most often mistake it for indifference or even arrogance depending on who you're speaking to. She doesn't speak often, after all why bother when everyone's thoughts are projected so? But when she does, the things she says are said with purpose. After all, she never had much use for a voice until she was freed. Most with malicious intent tend to monologue about schemes and future plans of domination, but she's a get right to the point type of person. Villains don't have friends, they have colleagues, and her colleagues more than likely are the same way. While she knows deep down that she will protect herself no matter who opposes her. Being called villian, a monster, doesn't seem to fit who she really is, or who she could be once she regained her own mind.
Eris is not a stranger to normal social functions, but given the people she surrounds herself with now that she's in training, most of the knowledge is for naught. She finds that as more and more time passes, her mind breaks a bit more each day. Given her...abduction when she was a child rendered her powerless to the constant stream of voices and thoughts around her. Any normal brain would be broken, snapped. But she is not normal. So she take a deep breath and focuses on her training. Only every so often does it show in the way she acts, especially to the victims of her anger, something that all villains posses. It could be in the form of a zombie-like attention span, to a far off look into infinity. Some would call her insane, other are just slightly weary. As of right now, she's just fine with that.

Eris has no memory of birthday parties or learning to ride a bicycle. She never painted her toenails with her mother or went fishing with her father. No, the last earliest memory of her childhood was set in a glass prison. As far as she knows, she was acquired as a baby, either given away or taken by force as soon as her powers were evident. There are some who were lucky enough to have parents with mutations or "powers" or at least some who know enough to help them control it. But when a baby can command an adult with a look, it causes fear. And fear creates a gap for opportunity.
|Subject Name:Medusa|
The name was so given not only for her eyes that could freeze anyone dead in their tracks, but of the power she held. But as a child, it was unpredictable and she was without control, so she could put up little fight. She can still remember the white cotton gown that resembled a hospital gown. Not anything a little girl should be wearing. They spent most of her childhood years attempting to make more of her, to somehow isolate the gene that made her who she was. Soon it was made apparent that not only could they not clone the gene, it was invasive. All she heard of the soldier injected with the gene, was that it strangled him to death. Naturally they assumed it was her doing so they punished her "accordingly". During this time of captivity, she was schooled through a monitor for there was not to be any human contact whatsoever. Everything was automated and her "handlers" were always at least 50 feet away, watching on monitors. At that time, if she could not see a person, she could not control them. To her, it was their biggest folly to teach her anything, what is a smart captive but waiting for fear...and an opportunity? For 7 years this went on until they decided to move to Phase 2 of the experiment. In her adolescence, she was put into a chair for 5 hours a day, a pug was connected directly to her brain stem and she was told to work. The chair sat in the middle of a white room and there was a gigantic piece of 2 way glass separating it from the adjoining room that held a table in the middle and some chairs. This was the first time she ever saw another human being. She was 12 years old. Of course, if any funny business were to occur, the needle currently taking up residence in the back of her head would remind her of her place. Not to say she didn't try. They would cart prisoner after prisoner into the room, and she was expected to read their thoughts aloud as they were speaking to them in a constant stream. They weren't just small robbery or onetime murder suspects. These were international prisoners, men who have done more terrible and immoral things than a little girl should hear, or see. She saw people she'd never even met, fall to their hands. Women...violated. Children bleeding. To use a power is not like bending a knee or walking in a straight line, it take great focus and effort, even for seasoned heroes or villains. But there was no sympathy to be found in that room. If she stopped reading, she got a shock. If she struggled, she was shocked. So for years, she learned the steady stream. To never turn off the stream, and soon...she couldn't if she wanted to. She was sure that if the constant stream of content didn't drive her insane, the subject matter of the thoughts would. So she waited, soon she was an adult and all of the things she learned in these men's minds kept her poised...for an opportunity.
Most of that day was a blur now. It was the usual business, she was directed to the chair and she sat, but an opportunity presented itself. The authority came into the room too early, before she was hooked to the needle and she acted. Eris reached behind her and grabbed the needle behind the chair and snapped it in half. An alarm sounded and it screeched in her ears, but before the officer in the room could even understand his idiocy, she ran to the glass and smacked her hands against it. Her iris' cast a hollow light as she burrowed through his pathetic mental walls like a spanish bull, uncaring of the insanities that would follow. He raised his gun to the glass and unloaded his clip. The glass fractured into shards that cascaded like water to the ground and he only had enough time to widen his eyes before he reloaded his gun and pointed it at the prisoner and shot. She was out of the room before the cold steel hit his own temple.
The facility she was kept in must have been an underground bunker of some sort, not that it mattered. She walked straight out of the front doors as if she were it's owner. She was 19. The blood and bullets she'd left in her wake clung to her white dress and she'd look like she'd emerged from the jaws of satan himself.
"They've made their bed."
So she was free. She made it to the city near her on foot, and soon the blood on her feet was hers. She came upon the outskirts of the city in suburbia and her head ached. The children were nestled in their beds having their sweet dreams and their nightmares. And heard every one of them. She stumbled and fell to her knees and the lamp post cast an eerie glow on her black hair, which had never been cut and hung almost to her knees and was matted with dried blood and time. Suddenly, the frequency changed and her head shot up as she met the eyes of a beautiful tall woman, dressed in all black. She walked closer and Eris came close to sending her away, until she heard her mind. She was like me. Gifted. And she wanted to help. Soon she reached me and placed her hand under my chin and lifted me face to the light.
"Aren't you a pretty thing?"
Eris looked into the womans eyes and the woman smiled. She knew her life would never be the same again.

|{Joining the Group}|
She tried living on her own for a while. She stole most of the money she had, by control or otherwise since she had no real job skills. But the constant stream. She couldn't take the voices anymore.
So she went back to get her powers under control. If she didn't fix it soon, she might never get better

Genevieve carefully hung up the phone and leaned back in her office chair sighing deeply and relishing the moment, she had just been informed of some particularly interesting information about mysterious goods. Having several information resources throughout the city news traveled fast and when she got it she would act immediately, leaning over to press a button on her desk she spoke into the intercom system that had been set up in almost every room of the rather large house. She spoke smoothly into the microphone, "There will be a meeting in the dining room in ten minutes, if you're not present you won't get to eat." Genevieve put emphasis on the last word knowing that if nothing else went through that the promise of food certainly would, she lifted her finger off the button and sat back. She knew that this was a perfect incentive for most of the people in the house were rather big eaters and that going without food was not an option. Genevieve placed her elbows on the arms of the chair she was sitting in forming a plan in her head, a plan that would get whatever 'they' had and didn't want her to know about and get it in her possession. She wanted exactly what she couldn't have.

The woman knew that she would have to send out different groups and she was already having to make decisions in her mind about how she was going to separate her team into sections, this was no easy task since some members did not get along so well with others. No quarrels, just conflicting personality types that had to be moved around, when she made her final decisions she closed the open notebook on her desk picking it up and carrying it with her to the dining room where she sat at the head on the rather long table awaiting the arrival of her team who would be arriving any minute. She did all this with the utmost grace and elegance in her satin black dress that fell to her knees and hug her curves making her look utterly flawless. Everything was set in motion all she needed to do was relay the information to the others living in the house and they would head out immediately.

James was in his room, lying on the large king sized bed. Holding above his head was a book, a book on earthquakes and other disasters caused by vibrations. He was simply studying more of what his power is capable of, Vibration Generation can be very dangerous if used at the right time and place after all. It is best to learn about everything that can be done with vibrations, and there was a lot.

Suddenly, the intercom started up, booming a very familiar and kind-ish voice. "There will be a meeting in the dining room in ten minutes, if you're not present you won't get to eat." Ah yes, it was the trainer who is very kind to James. It wasn't long since he joined this organisation, and this woman had already gotten very friendly and gave great kindness to him. Because of joining not long ago, James hadn't really met the other people except for the recruiter, which was the trainer.

And so, James closed his book and gave a small sigh. Hoisting himself onto his feet, James redid his clothing. Straightening them out and sorting his hair to slick back, his usual look.
As he walked to the door, James lit a cigarette and began smoking as he left the room.

Once he arrived at the dining room, James noticed that he was the second person to arrive. The kind trainer was already present, sitting at the head of the large table. "I see I'm the first to arrive, Ms. LeBlanc." James spoke as he grabbed an ashtray and took his seat -two seats away from the trainer-. His voice was monotoned and seemingly bored, but also showed a small hint of relief after seeing the trainer.

James flicked the ash of his cigarette into the ashtray and continued smoking, waiting for the trainer to reply.

Eiko was sleeping soundly, her face buryed in the many pillows scattered over her bed, her black blankets thrown to all corners of the bed, sheets kick off to the floor due to her amount of turning and stretching at night. Her arms were hugging a worn out old teddy bear tightly to her chest, holding it close in a protective manner. If you were listening, you could make out the muffled snores though the pillows, sounds covered by the blaring of the tv that she had forgotten to turn off the night before. Video games were thrown all over the floor, along with movies of dozens of genres, mostly horror, littering the blood-red fuzzy carpet and black furniture decorating the room.

"There will be a meeting in the dining room in ten minutes" The sound of the intercom blared, waking her up from blissful sleep. She groaned loudly, snuggling closer to the teddy bear and buried herself deeper into the mountain of pillows.

"if you're not present you won't get to eat."

With that, she bolted up, sending pillows flying off the bed and onto the already messy floor. "I'm up!" she yelled, flailing her arms, only to realize she was laying on the side of the bed, and fell out of the tangled up blankets on the ground with a loud Thump!.

"And I'm down..." she groaned, rubbing her head.

After regaining her composure, she jumped up, not bothering to make her bed as that often takes her longer than the time limit given. She ran to her dresser drawers, looking in the mirror to see her multicolored hair scattered all over head, sticking to her forehead, chin and defining gravity in general. She chuckled at how silly she looked, then opened her drawer, getting dressed in a black t-shirt, tie-dye skinny jeans, and black leather boots. Finally running a brush though her hair, she was ready for the day.

Eiko ran through the hallway, part of the reason being she didn't want to be late for the meeting, and the other part being she just liked running down long hallways. Instead of walking down the stairs, she chose to slide down the banister, as that was much more fun and took less time.

She ran into the dinning room, but only seeing two other people present, she greeted the other two.

"Morning!" she said happily, as she took her seat in the center of the table.

In the middle of Eris' room sits a large circular bed drenched in pillows and blankets. It's where she buries herself in her nightly coffin. The voices in her head are mostly quiet and she can know rest, but the mornings are a different thing altogether. Her beloved trainer and friend, Genevieve, the woman who found her, called for a meeting. So it was time to rise with the living and resume her duties for the day. Eris stood above the colorful assortment of pillows and stretched her unclothed muscles, for it can get very heated under all of those coverings. Her hair was slightly mussed but that was a regular look for her curly locks. She walked languidly to her dresser and pulled on her Long Split skirt and a black crop top, showing a good bit of her tattoos. Her room had its fair share of candle scattered about in various states of use. At night, it was quite a sight to see. In another corner, her albino boa, Balthazar, had his own large case for him to stretch and move about. But soon the fog of sleep slowly wanes away and the voices hit her like a train. Wishes, thoughts, desires. She grabs her head and her breath quickens. She tries to concentrate on her breathing. In and out. In and out Eris.
Soon the voices are but a dull roar in the back of her mind and she is able to continue on with her day.
Only after feeding Balthazar, does she emerge from her room, barefoot, and pad down the hall to the kitchen. There she made her usual chai tea and once she held the warm mug in her hands she walked to the dining room and took note of the newest member to the teamas well as the trickster sitting on the table, she inclined her head slowly to him and quirked her brown quickly at her before sipping some more tea. She then blew a kiss to Genevieve before taking her place at the opposite side of the table. So she waited patiently instead of barreling through the trainers mind to see the meeting in it's entirety. She was fine with socializing this morning.

Lara McIntosh

Lara had already been up for a while, curled up on a nice comfy chair that was next to one of the windows while she read from her Edgar A. Poe collection. She had kept her lights off, only reading by sun, it's warmth holding her. She was a quick reader and had already gotten through some of Poe's short stories when she heard Genevieve call for everyone to come to a meeting. She had lived with the villains for three years now and knew that typically if Genevieve called for a meeting they were going to go out on a mission.

She sighed and pulled on some clothes, grudgingly taking off her giant sweater and trading it in with a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved black shirt. As for getting ready the rest of the way she just combed her hair, brushed her teeth, and pulled long red hair into a ponytail. She could hear some talking going on downstairs already and figured she would be the last, or at least one of the last, people to show up in the dining room. Of course she did stop by the kitchen and got a bagel and a cup of apple cider. It seemed odd for the morning she knew, but it reminded her of Autumn and so it couldn't be helped. Lara arrived in the dining room and sat next to the seat that was across from Genevieve, her usual seat by that was typically by the other trainer, Jack.

It seemed that everyone was here except for Paisley and the man who had recruited her to the villains in the first place. As Lara wasn't much of a talker she just sat and ate her breakfast, waiting for the last two to come to the meeting, while continuing to read her collection of Edgar A. Poe's stories. That was the thing about the villains is, especially in the morning, they were a quiet bunch. Lara was certain that the other's had greeted everyone as they came in, or something to that effect, but since Lara came later the greetings had stopped for the time. Everyone just kind of did their own thing while they all waited patiently for the meeting to start.

Patrick Miller

Patrick smiled at everyone as they all filed in and sat down at random chairs in the room.

"Just wanted to alert everyone that the government will be transferring some papers through the city today. Now the broadcast I saw didn't say anything past that which tells me that these papers are important and something that the villains will most likely be going after," Patrick said, taking a bite of his breakfast. He had complete faith that this was definitely something that the villains would be going after; mysterious papers that the government is hiding from the public and transferring through "their" area, it was undoubted in his mind that this would happen today. However, while he was talking, he was also planning on what their move would be in order to counter the villains plan, which they had no clue what that was. He figured it would be best for them to split up, that way they would be able to cover better ground and plus he wanted to keep the new recruits away from the villains' trainers. He had run into them many times and both of them were nasty pieces of work, Patrick also knew that the recruits under his supervision were not ready to go up against them.

"My thought is that we should split up into groups. Now the truck that is taking the papers will most likely be taking this road," Patrick said, setting down his cereal and pointing at a map they had hung behind the bar and to Madison street that's parallel with Central park, "The government will have their own security following the truck, but we should split up into groups to stop the villains from getting close to the truck. Now Chris and I will keep close to the truck as it travels through the city, Scott and Jay you two will keep an eye on this street," he pointed to Park Avenue, the street just right of Madison street, "Daniel and Evie I want you to search through Central Park and best keep it close to edge. If you encounter a villain remember you aren't fighting to kill, just disable them long enough for the government's truck to get through the city. Everybody know the plan then?" Patrick walked back to his cereal and started eating again a smile on his lips, he was sure that this plan was going to work. Since Daniel was the newest in the group, Patrick figured it was best to not put him with one of the others who had a louder personality and both Scott and Jay were fighters.

Jack was sound asleep when the sound of LeBlanc's voice over the intercom echoed through the room. He did not comprehend much of what she said, his mind still being in a fog after just waking up, but he could make an educated guess as to what she wanted. If she was interrupting their sleep at this time in the morning, she had a job planned, and it required quick action. And so he climbed out of bed, covered in nothing but his boxers and socks. He did not care much about what he was wearing, so he just grabbed the first shirt and pair of jeans he could find and put them on. His t-shirt was gray, with the brand logo on the front, and his jeans had a hole at the left knee.

He didn't bother to brush his teeth, and his short hair required little management. He used his fingers to put a few stray hairs back in place, then headed down to the kitchen. There he grabbed some Poptarts, put them in the toaster, then put a little butter on top of them. When he was done, he looked at them and shook his head with a smirk.

"They always put all the icing on one side. It never looks like it does on the box."

Heading into the dinning room, where most of the others were already present, he subtly tapped Eiko's right shoulder as he passed by her going left. Before taking a seat next to Lara, he did the same to her, tapping her left shoulder then sitting on her right. His position at the table strategically put distance between himself and Eris. That girl, with her constantly zoned-out expression, gave him the creeps.

"So LeBlanc, what's the plan? You found a job for us?"

Two dark eyes scanned the table scanning each of the faces, one after the other, she had greeted each of them warmly as they had entered though her warmth was insincere right now she was in planning mode which took cold hard determination. When Genevieve set her mind on what she wanted there was nothing that would stop her from getting it, not even the rag-tag group of do gooders were going to get in her way, in their way. Once everyone had settled in Genevieve clapped her hands together and cleared her throat before she spoke demanding the attention of the room, "Now then, I see that everyone who wanted food is here I think it's time to start, I just got a call with some very interesting news. As I am speaking to all of you there is a truck being loaded up and getting ready to ship out and straight into out lap," she stood up as she spoke slowly making her way behind the row of chairs and towards the other end of the table. "But this is not just any ordinary vehicle because it carries some very important papers that the government doesn't want the public to know about." She stopped behind Lara's chair looking over her shoulder at the rest of the table and speaking sternly, "we are NOT the public," she continued walking changing back to a lighter tone, happy even, stopping next to Jack's chair and placing her hands on the back of the chair standing straight and regal looking at her team of misfits that she was ever so proud of. "Jack and I will be doing the actual stealing of the documents, taking them directly from the truck itself. Eiko," she looked at her pupil, "you'll take James and show him a good time, and James this is your debut make us proud, you two will be on the west side," she gave him a wink and a smile. "Lara and Eris you'll be taking the east side play nice, the truck will be traveling south and you know those idiots won't be able to resist sticking their nose in our business so don't let them have the satisfaction of victory. Don't kill any of them if you have to, I'm still hopeful in switching a few over to our side." She pulled away from the chair that she was resting her hands on and walked towards the door pausing to turn back and say, "oh, and one more thing, I plan on being punctual so if you know what's good for you you'll get your butts in gear so we can get there before they do." She said this with a smile and a sickly sweet tone which did not match the words that were being said, but with that Genevieve turned and walked out the doors letting them shut behind her with a thud that echoed through the dining hall, finalizing the mission objective.

Paisley had already been awake for hours. Most of the night, in fact. She just hadn't slept because she found a much better way of resting her mind.

Paisley sat on her bed, but in front of her eyes she saw a forest that stretched for miles. Wind rustled through the green, summery leaves, and sunlight streamed through the canopy above her. Birds chirped and talked high above her, and a deer moved through the brush somewhere to her left.

Paisley's main aim was to block out all sound and view of her room, and to relax. It had worked a little too well, as Genevieve's voice over the intercom was almost dream-like in quality, so much that Paisley almost disregarded it. Then it came to her, little by little, that she was required. And now late.

Paisley blinked several times in succession, coming back to reality. She quickly changed out of her pajamas and washed her face, and brushed her hair a little before running downstairs and sliding into the last empty seat. "Sorry." She muttered. She didn't often apologize, and if she did, it was always under her breath. She choked on the smoke from one of the older recruits, at which she made a face and muttered; "Ugh, that's disgusting."

Paisley grabbed a red apple and bit into it. The crunchy flesh of the fruit ran into her mouth and exploded on her tongue, and Paisley finished it off in a few seconds. She was hungrier than she had originally thought. She sat there, seemingly patiently, and waited, tapping her index finger on the table rather impatiently. She raised a solitary eyebrow at Jack, who was going around tapping a couple of others on the shoulder while he walked past, holding a poptart. She pinched a corner between her fingers and tore off a small piece, before popping into her own mouth with a small smirk. She waited again for the plan to be spilled, and when it was, she was a little disappointed. No mention of her anywhere in the plan. At that, she cleared her throat slightly, still waiting to be told what she was going to do.

Evelyn listened carefully as Patrick explained the plan. She was with Daniel, who was pretty cool. He was shy, though, of using his power, but Evelyn didn't really mind that. She could disable them... Probably. Her eyes darted over to the boy, who looked rather uncomfortable in his seat, before looking down and away, with only a slight smile. He obviously wasn't listening, which amused her for some reason.

Evie looked up as her name was called, and nodded enthusiastically. Daniel was the newest in the group, and Jay and Scott were more suited to up close combat, seeing as they both had destructive abilities and weren't afraid to use them, from what Evie had observed. She quickly drained the last of the coffee and helped herself to a fruit bar, picking at the food with long fingers.

Evelyn then listened to Christ's view - communication would be very helpful to communicate where everyone was, if somebody was in trouble, and who was against who. Evie looked up and smiled at Christ, and agreed with her. She didn't say anything, just made eye contact and smiled at her, hopefully communicating that she agreed. Scott suggested walkie talkies, and Jace the earpiece. "Seems like a good idea." She finally mustered up the courage to say. "I might even have a spare, but I'll have to check. It's probably broken, anyway, last I remember it was." She shrugged a little.

"Come on, Daniel, let's go get ready, yeah?" She suggested quickly, suddenly wanting to get out of the room. She felt paranoid suddenly, and nervous. She'd done enough of these sorts of missions before, but she was always on her own, especially when she was in the military. She felt strange that she now had Daniel with her, but she tried to suppress the feeling of the knots and butterflies, and go up, put the wrapper of the fruit bar in the bin and walked over to the door frame, leaning on it slightly. All she knew is she needed to get out.

James listened closely to the plan, the news was actually quite interesting. Except that the target seemed boring, just some stupid papers? What's so important about papers?
He took another drag on his cigarette and flicked the ash into the glass circular ashtray, giving off a small sigh as he exhaled at the mention of the trainers doing the fun stuff. But there was more, James was going to be paired with that girl who seems to avoid him. But, it would be nice to make Ms. LeBlanc proud, so it would be best to put up with it.

"Yes, Ma'am." James muttered towards Ms. LeBlanc before she continued the briefing. He didn't pay much attention after that, he had to come up with ways to make everyone proud. Maybe an earthquake?

Suddenly, the doors opened and the last member walked in, muttering her apologies before finding a seat. Coughing and spluttering, the woman muttered some more words; "Ugh, that's disgusting.". Well, if she doesn't like it then she better put up with it. Little bitch. James simply replied with a small glare before it changed back to a smirk, he had thought of something quite funny.

Maybe it's best to let the woman he was being paired with to lead on. He can't waste brain power on leadng.

Chris had begun to zone out when a silence took over the room. She noticed Evie had smiled at her, in which she returned, though her's was small, barely noticeable by anyone else at the table, but she knew Evie would know.

She was brought back into reality by Scott, who had suggested walkie taklies, which would work fine for communication, as would the ear pieces that Jace suggested a few minutes later. She ate the last bit of her pancake, setting her fork down and wiping her mouth with a napkin before speaking again. "That should work, each group should have either a walkie talkie or earpiece."

She stood from the table, setting her plate into sink and nodding at Jace, as a way to say 'thank you for washing the dishes.' Then she took her seat at the table once more, placing her hands in front of her on the table, waiting to for further instructions, or to be dismissed so she could start preparing for the mission.

Eiko smiled at Jack as he tapped her on the shoulder, then leaned back in the seat, crossing her arms over her chest in a lazy way as she crossed her leg over her knee. She listened as Genevieve explained matter at hand, perking up at the mention of government papers. No doubt that they were important, anything being kept from public eye was bond to be important, though she honestly didn't care about the importance of the papers, so long as something got stolen. The fact that those government idiots would be losing their heads in confusion was satisfactory enough for her.

Genevieve explained the groups, pairing her up with the newbie, James. She grinned, adjusting her gaze to the man in question, who sat quietly smoking a cigarette. Eiko giggled softly to herself as Genevieve told her to 'show James a good time.'

'Oh trust me, I will' she thought to herself. Her hazel eyes brightly lit up with deviousness, a mischievous smirk plastered over her face as she fought the urge to chuckle once more. Since James was new, he didn't know about her mischievous nature. Oh, she was going to have fun with this. Had you been paying attention, you'd see the evil twinkle in her eye. She was pondering something in that sly little mind of hers.

"This Is going to be fun"

Eris fiddled with the tea bag in her chai tea. Her tattooed leg was flung over the armrest of the chair through the slit in her skirt and she stared up at the window casually. Genevieve knew as well as anyone that as soon as she opened her mouth, Eris got the whole picture. Eiko was most definitely devising some mischievous plan for the newcomer as she was now partnered with him for this mission of theirs. Eris merely rolled her eyes at the girls antics as she pondered the mission for a short time. In had never really mattered to Eris what the job was, stealing, smuggling, even killing, but these papers seemed different. Of different importance altogether. She made a mental note to ask Genevieve later. Ha., she thought, Mental.
She looked over to jack and saw his expression towards her, she merely winked at him, then as Genevieve mentioned her partnership with Lara she gazed over at the girl sitting a few seats away from her. She inclined her head towards her deeply in recognition and took a sip of her tea.
Soon enough, Genevieve finished the plan and immediately excused herself from the room. Eris broke the silence only slightly in her deep voice,
"Well, this should be interesting"She smiled lazily and reclined in her chair slightly.
Paisley soon entered the dining room, late which was slightly unusual, and nearly choked on the smoke emanating from James. She caught the little quip in his head towards her and Eris simply narrowed her eyes. She stood and slowly maneuvered around the table, she ran her hand across Paisley's shoulders and kissed her softly on the head. Eris had always had a soft spot for the girl, considering her past and current familial situation, they were a lot alike. She slowly made her way to stand behind James. She ignored the cloud of smoke that surrounded him and placed her hands on his shoulders. She bent over so that her mouth was next to his ear. Her hands squeezed his shoulder a tad bit forcefully, but of course never enough to do any real harm. She spoke softly and deep, directly into his mind.
"I could take care of that problem of yours, all you need do is as-k"
She punctuated her statement with the k and placed a finger on his temple and dragged it down his chin. She left the statement open ended as to what the problem was, of course. Before she straightened herself she kissed him on the cheek and smiled that smile of hers. She grabbed her and stopped before walking out completely and turned to Lara,
"I'll be in the living area at 3 ready to brainstorm a plan."
She pushed open the door with her usual gait and walked calmly to her room to shower and dress in her usual and uncomfortable training clothes. She stopped, however, seeing Genevieve in the hall, so she called out to her even though she hated to raise her voice.
"Genevieve!"
Once she was caught up with her she smiled pleasantly,"I've called on you to inquire about the importance of the documents, whether or not you knew what they were. Something feels off to me.". She kept her mental channels open fully just in case.

Genevieve looked up at her name being called following the voice to none other than Eris, her most prized treasure, she gave a warm smile that crinkled her eyes just slightly. "I've called on you to inquire about the importance of the documents, whether or not you knew what they were. Something feels off to me."
"You think it's a trap? Oh honey, this isn't my first rodeo. To be honest I have no idea what is on those papers all I know is that they have something valuable enough to keep it guarded which makes it something I am not supposed to have and you know all too well that I want what I can't have." And indeed this was true for Eris herself was a product of such a trait, when Genevieve first saw the young girl she knew that she wanted her on her team and after doing some research and digging up pieces of information the woman knew that she had to have her, and that it was only a matter of time before the girl came to her. Genevieve shifted her weight to one hip placing a hand on it and using the other to reach out and touch Eris's hair taking a few strands of it in her thumb and two fingers and running her hand down the length of the girls hair to the end letting her hand pause before dropping to her side.

"You don't have to worry about the papers you leave that to me, I need you and Lara to stay in Madison Park so she can get inside a certain truck driver I need you to make sure that nothing happens to her body while she's away. This is no baby sitting job either they'll probably send people to look for her so you won't be alone for long, think you can handle it?" She gave a coy smile knowing full well that Eris was capable of doing this and so much more it was keeping her powers to herself that was the problem she already had all the tools she needed Eris just needed the knowledge to control them. "If you'll excuse me I need to make sure that we are on schedule," she said abruptly turning to walk away when she was a little ways down the hallway hoping to find either Paisley or Jack and preferably both she spoke again, "And don't you ever use your powers on your team, we may be on the wrong side of the law but we are loyal to each other and I need there to be trust here. I would never use my gravity against you just remember that because I don't want to have to tell you again."

The strange woman, Eris, was it? She stood at the entrance of the late comer, it wasn't that important to pay attention to. Might as well get back to the room and prepare for the mission. Not like there is much to do to prepare.
And so, James stubbed his cigarette out in the ashtray and was about to rise from his chair. But then...

SHOCK, the strange Eris woman placed her hands on James' shoulders. He could feel her breath being exhaled over his ear and the side of his face, he trembled a little with this kind of interaction. What does she think she's doing? Getting all touchy feely? It's creepy, it causes his heart rate to increase as his breathing rate also increased. His face froze up as he held his breath.

It was strange for her to say that, what problem is this? What is there to ask? And why is she punctuating the k? More touching occured, causing James to flinch as the woman's warm, soft lips pressed lightly against his cheek. The chair began to vibrate, a little to a lot, causing the floor to vibrate around the whole room as James had become more and more uncomfortable.

Finally, the woman left him, James quickly exhaled, the vibrations stopped and he had calmed down. Still breathing a bit heavy, James moved his glare over to that woman as she left the room. Maybe he should kill her before she does anything else...
It didn't matter, she was showing off to him, probably. Better leave.

With that, James quickly stood and fixed his suit up. He walked quickly away from the table, grabbing and apple and biting into it as he left the room, heading back to his bedroom to prepare for the mission.

Jack sat and listened to the plan. He seemed to be the only one who noticed Paisley was not mentioned in the plan. She was late coming in, so maybe they just assumed everyone was present. After LeBlanc was done, she left pretty quickly.

"That's it? I was expecting a little more detail than that. Oh, well. Paisley, I guess it would be best to have you on the West side. Having you on the same side as Eris would be a little redundant. I may have a plan for how you could best make use of your abilities. The truck carrying the documents will likely have security following behind it. Do you think you will be able to produce an illusion for that security, make them take a wrong turn?"

He then turned to Eiko and saw that familiar smirk on her face. He knew she was up to something. While he was okay with the newcomer getting pranked, he did not want it to interfere with the plan.

"Eiko, use your best judgement."

Lara McIntosh

Lara swatted at Jack's arm as he passed after he tapped her on the shoulder. This wasn't some new trick that fooled her, he would do this sort of thing constantly and it became Lara's thing to hit him afterwards. She set her book down as he sat down knowing that the meeting would probably be starting soon. She listened to the plan, staring at the cover of her book the entire time Genevieve was talking, but she was indeed listening. It seemed that she would be paired up with Eris and the two of them would be placed in Central park, though Lara had a feeling that her skills would be used for something different for this mission.

After the meeting, everyone got up to leave. Eris seemed to pick up something in the new guy, Jame's, head because she went over and seemed to be trying to scare him. Lara just sort of rolled her eyes at this. Then Eris, however, looked to Lara and said, "I'll be in the living area at 3 ready to brainstorm a plan." With that she left. Lara sighed and gave a rather sarcastic salute in Eris's direction. It wasn't that the two didn't get along well enough, but they only got along to a certain point. They were colleagues at best and Lara had found that Eris liked to be in charge just as much as her. However with a mission hanging over her head, Lara knew she would have to get along with Eris enough so that they could work together.

With a little bit of time to kill before heading to the living room and talking with Eris, Lara finished her breakfast and looked towards Jack, the closest person she has had to a father figure in years and the man who had took her away from that broken house at the end of the broken road. "How was last night?" she asked, taking a bite of her bagel. Though she wasn't entirely sure he actually did anything last night, it was just a normal question that she asked him, to get a conversation going.

Patrick Miller

Patrick smiled and set his empty bowl on the counter with a rather large clatter. "Well then, why don't you guys go get those devices and then we can figure out how to get them on the same frequency. We should hurry, I think it would be best to get to our spots before the villains head out. This way it'll be easier for us to find them and stop them before they get too close. Chop, chop!" Patrick said. He got up and put his dishes in the sink, thinking that after the mission he could clean them.

Patrick, however, turned to Chris as the others began to leave the room and in a low, hushed voice asked, "Do you think they'll be ready for this? I know Jay and Scott are fighters, but Daniel. Are we pushing him a bit too much?" He asked. Normally Patrick wouldn't be second guessing his own decisions and plans like this, but since Daniel was particularly new he just didn't want to accidentally push him too far and get the boy hurt on his account. It was something that would always be on his mind, not second guessing his plans, but rather that one of the recruits that were supposed to be under his protection would get hurt or worse. He always tried his best to keep everyone safe, with plans of keeping them at least in pairs and having a way to get out of trouble if something were to happen, but it was always a constant thought of, 'Will that be enough?'

"Am I just being stupid?" Patrick then laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. His whole face crinkling into one very amused look. Though to others it might seem that this face belonged to someone who was laughing so hard they were crying, in all honesty this was just Patrick's normal face when he laughed; his eyes would crinkle up and squint, his smile would spread widely on his cheeks so that wrinkles would surround his whole face, and of course his head would bow and bob up and down a little.

Eiko had zoned out so much, she hadn't noticed everyone starting to leave the room. She was brought back into reality by the room starting to shake. To most people, they'd be ducking under tables covering their heads in an earthquake, but Eiko just started to laugh, as the shaking of the room was fun to her. Once the vibration stopped, she saw how everyone was leaving. Not wanting to be left in the dust, she jumped from her chair and was about to bolt out of the room, but not before running Jack.

"Eiko, use your best judgement." he said to her.

She smiled, knowing he didn't want anything to interfere with the mission. She had no intention of putting them risk, and was usually very careful not to. She may not act like it, but she was serious about things like this. "Don't I always?" She laughed and nudged his shoulder playfully before happily running back up to her bedroom to prepare.

She stopped at the doorway, hazel eyes looking around the room till she spotted one of her many jackets laying on the side of the black and purple couch in the corner. She grabbed it randomly and put it on. Then running over to her nightstand to get her IPod. Placing her earbuds securely in her ears, then scrolling though her playlist, she selected something by Three Days Grace, and put the device in her pocket.

Now ready (to her standards anyway) she ran out of her room. Eiko always seemed to be running somewhere, even though she's often told to slow down. She passed a few people in the hallway, though if they said anything to her she couldn't hear over her music.

After sliding down the banister (her favourite part of living in a two story house), she sat in the chair in the kitchen, waiting for the others to prepare while she snooped around looking for something sweet to eat.

Chris turned her attention to Patrick as he asked her a question. "Do you think they'll be ready for this? I know Jay and Scott are fighters, but Daniel. Are we pushing him a bit too much?" She opened her mouth answer, but he continued before she could. "Am I just being stupid?" . He laughed, his normal laugh yet it was so energetic and full of life. It was enough to brighten up any room.

Before Chris could react, she had giggled just the slightest. She couldn't help herself, his laugh was just too infectious.

"Don't worry" she reassured, in a slightly happier tone than she usually spoke, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Have faith in him, we did train him for specific situations like this. I'm confident we did well, and you should too."

She let go of his shoulder and walked passed him, though stopping a few feet away from him, turning her head back to look over her shoulder. "And as for your second question," she said, "Your concerned about your student, as a true leader should." And with that, she returned to her bedroom, grabbing the wooden katana by her bedside and stepped out again, waiting for the others to finish preparing.

Paisley grinned and reached up to hug Eris as she kissed her cheek. She was close to Eris, for they had similar powers and even though that was, Eris was there for her in the big-sister sort of way. She scowled at the newcomer, and as Eris went over to him the floor began to vibrate, and Paisley began to snicker slightly. Was it in excitement or fear that he made everything tremble?

Paisley sat there, bored, as everyone left, without a mention of her. Looked like she was on house arrest... For what reason this time? Paisley couldn't put a finger on it. She cracked her knuckles and rocked back in her chair, trying to seem not bothered. Then Jack spoke. Although she didn't find his jokes all that funny, he was a good guy, and understood what she wanted overall. She smiled at him, and agreed hastily. She wanted to be involved, even if it meant West Side with the trainers. Her eyes darted away from eye contact as she smirked to herself. She found it amusing that they thought she was 'too young', even though she could handle herself.

"Yeah, sure. Does it mean I'm stuck with you losers though?" She asked with a joking smile on her face. She was learning that the best way to get in with Jack was to laugh and joke, and Paisley was in a very jokey and attitude-y mood. She pulled a piece of chewing gum from her pocket, and put it in her mouth, before snapping a bubble. She knew that she would have to get herself into the very childish 'state of mind' she assumed when she went out, though. She only really got moody and joked around with Jack, even though she doesn't find most of his jokes very funny.

With that, she got up and snapped the gum again, before walking out. "I'll see what I can do!" Was yelled down the hall at Jack as she wandered upstairs to her room to get ready. She closed the door (A little too hard - she was still in a bit of a bad mood) and searched around for supportive yet comfortable shoes. She found her pair of white converse, and paired with white leggings and a floaty white top, Paisley deemed herself ready for going out. She looked her part - or at least how she liked to look while using her powers - smiled to herself and walked out of the room, snapping the gum as she went.

Evelyn was grateful when Daniel walked out with her. She breathed a sigh of relief, and uttered a quick; "Thank you." to him before moving on. She walked out with him, but heard the words that the trainer's spoke. She bit her lip and looked over towards Daniel, wondering if she should offer him comfort or not.

Too soon, though, did they arrive at his room, and Evie lingered there before she left again, silently. She had seen his arm trembling before she left, and she hoped he was okay, before selfishly hoping he didn't lose control, which she then felt immediately bad about. She shook her head and slipped a pen knife into her pocket - for safety purposes only. She didn't plan on using it at all, her powers were much better at immobilising villains than her pen knife would ever be. She sat there, on her bed, and just waited for everyone else to get ready. She stared intently at the lamp that stood on the bedside table, and continued staring with a calm look on her face, until it rose up into the air as if it was being pulled there by gravity. She smiled, and held it there, before carefully switching the gravitational ties until it landed safely on the table once again.

She got up, and decided she'd go check on Daniel. She wanted to make sure he was okay, it must have been a little upsetting to hear what he did earlier. She walked down the hall and was about to knock, before her hand stopped just millimetres from the door. Her hand held there for a second, before she dropped it down to her side with a sigh. No, she... she couldn't. Silently, and with regret in her heart, she walked down to meet the others without a word.

James readied himself in a very short time for the mission. There wasn't really that much he changed, he looked exactly the same, the clothing was just from different manufacturers. The extra thing he added was a shining silver watch, attached to his wrist. Along with that, James wore shoes with extra grip on the soles and there was a variety of belts strapped around his body under the clothing. Their purpose; support, vibrations can easily knock a human over, so wearing things like these can prevent this from happening, allowing James to pull ot maneuvours as the ground is literally breaking up and changing in angle underneath him. Better to be safe than sorry.

With that, James left his room. He wondered slowly down the hallways, the tapping on his steps echoed deeply into the distance. Next, the stairs, there was no echo, no creak of a slightly broken step. It was quiet, and annoying.

Finally, James had reached the kitchen, he grabbed yet another apple and then sat in his usual seat at the table. His back straightened as he patiently waited.

Lara McIntosh

Lara just sort of rolled her eyes at Jack's response, knowing full well that he was making it up.

"I'm so, sorry to hear that. Were you terribly miserable after you lost her?" Lara asked, her eyes not wavering from what she was currently reading. She stayed in her seat for a while, making idle conversation with Jack while she read; other than getting her mask, Lara was pretty much prepared for the mission, that is clothing-wise. She still had to go meet Eris and talk about their plan of action.

Lara didn't rush her conversation with Jack, that was one perk to being close with her is that she never rushed conversations as if trying to get away, she just let them play out naturally and leave when the conversation lulled enough. When one such lull happened, Lara excused herself from the room and went in to get her mask before going in search of Eris. With her mask and book in hand, Lara made her way past the kitchen and dining room to the West wing of the house. Her all black outfit and white mask made her seem surreal enough, but adding onto the fact that she possessed people had made the public deem her as "The Phantom". In all honesty she would have come up with something far more creative, but she guessed this way it would be easier for everyone to remember her.

One thing about the living room that Lara never understood was how warmly it was decorated; with yellows, golds, browns, and whites as the color scheme it made the entire room feel very homely. Along with the giant and comfortable furniture. She had always wondered if Genivieve was the one who designed it as to lure potential villains in using most of their family issues by the promising a home with this room. She wouldn't put it past the devious trainer to plan that far in advance, however she could also see Jack having chosen the design on a whim once and is just sticking by that whim stubbornly even if he feels different about it now. This was just a question in Lara's head, she would never say it out loud because it was never relevant to absolutely anything.

Lara saw Eris sitting on the big, yellow chair and walked over sitting on the ottoman across from her. "So what's the plan then? Who did Geniveive say I would be possessing?" she asked with a straight face.

Patrick Miller

Patrick went to his room and pulled out his mask from an unused drawer in his room. He knew not everyone would choose to wear a mask, but he felt obligated to as he had to keep his identity safe while he kept up his job at the meat factory; after all someone had to pay the bills for their tiny base. He caught a glance of his reflection in his bedroom window, the reflection of a somewhat dark hero. Though he wasn't nearly as dark as Batman, he was darker than some of the others. Since he did wear all dark colors and the odd mask he had chosen that looked like something was eating his face, slowly but surely. This is why the public had deemed him "Evade". Patrick gathered that was because of the dark colors added a bit of mystery, or so he liked to think, to his persona, but also because of his super speed he was able to come close to evading the human detection. If anything he loved the name the public had given him, he actually took some pride into that name, even if others made fun of him for it.

As he came out of his room and walked down the hall to the front door, he put on his mask and yelled, "Alright gang, let's hit the road! The sooner we get into position the more we can be prepared for the villains!" His typical demeanor of joking and carefree was gone now. It had been replaced when the mask was put on, turning him more serious and ready for action. This was his typical attitude while going on missions with his trainees. Once the mask was put on he knew that he would be putting them into situations that normal kids and teenagers should never have to be put into, whatever happened to them would be all on him and so it was his job to make sure that nothing of that sort actually did happen. It was his job. His responsibility. His hero-complex.

Following Evelyn into the kitchen Daniel made his way over to the fridge reaching on top for his mask, granted it wasn't the best place to leave it but after a long day of going out on missions and being exhausted it was a miracle he even remembered where he had put it. He likes his mask because it covered his face still allowing him to breathe without obstructing his vision, he also very much liked the nickname the public had given him, "Toxic", on the few times that he had been out, it went along with his mask and the hazardous material symbol on the back of his jacket that he wore to all of his missions.

Daniel pulled the straps over his head securing the gas mask to his face before pulling the hood of his jacket over his head, now that the fear of having to face actual villains had faded he was now beginning to replace it with excitement and he actually looked his trainer, Patrick, straight in the eye smiled enough for it to wrinkle his eyes so that the trainer could tell that he was smiling, he gave Patrick the thumbs up to show that he was ready. He then walked over to Evelyn standing quietly next to her putting his hands in his in his pockets and waiting patiently for the next order. He kept repeating over and over in his head that he could do this that it wasn't that big of a deal, that he had to believe in himself and above all stay focused.

Genevieve smiled at her young pupil, "I knew you would be," the smile was insincere but the words were not, Paisley had shown much progress in the time that she had joined the villains but that progress accounted for nothing if Genevieve didn't have a matching set of the two sisters, though Paisley's sister seems like a lost cause she would not give up and the first chance that she saw to convince Evelyn of changing to the right team she would pounce on it. Genevieve indicated that Paisley should follow her as she spun around her hair flying outward as she did so, practically gliding down the hall at a brisk pace. Genevieve walked into the front room making her way over to the large double doors and first pushing the button on the intercom that was located next to the front doors she spoke into it.
"Time to head out.... now."the last word was a little forceful to show that she was serious and don't take two more hours getting ready. She then walked over to the doors pulling both handles down and open relieving three parked limousines, one for each team, in their circle drive. It was a wonder what a few calls a head of time could prove useful, Genevieve smiles red lips and walked over to the first black car, the driver offered to take her hand and help her into the limo which she took, he tipped his hat before helping her down saying, "Mistress," this was the clever name that the newspapers had donned her with. She both adored and loathed it, on one hand the name reminded her of class and elegance on the other the meaning of the word meant someone who slept with another woman's husband, but since she couldn't change it she chose to accept it. She settled into the vehicle waiting for the others to arrive, they had been using this company for months to get around being driven a block from where they were meant to be and let out to do their business then driven home no questions asked, and the best part of all was that they took stolen money without a second thought. Genevieve so enjoyed when everything went according to plan, she was thinking this when she looked over to see the box that held their communication devices, small silver earbuds that fit neat and nearly invisible in their ears allowing them to keep in touch, Genevieve took one out placing carefully in her left ear.

After Jack was finished with his small talk with Lara, he walked back to his room to grab his phone and his earpiece. He checked to make sure he had everything he needed, including the blood vials strapped to his belt.

He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. Jack was both excited to have a job to do and also nervous of what may happen. Some of his new recruits were inexperienced, and he couldn't watch after everyone. Still, he knew that they were capable and he had to trust them to do their best.

"Time to head out...now," said Le Blanc over the intercom.

"Bossy, bossy..."

Jack walked outside and saw the limos. Le Blanc's choice of travel seemed a bit overindulgent to him, and he didn't trust the drivers. He would much rather have his own cars to take there and back, but he didn't complain.

"Showtime," he said to the others. "Try not to get yourselves in jail. Their food sucks and they don't have satellite."
