Description

Image

Full Name: Taja Okoro

Nicknames: Taj

Description & Personality:
-Taja is a tall ebony skinned girl with long black hair. She seems mean at a glance, but she isn't much of a bitch at all. She fits in well with the popular kids in school. Although, many know that she isn't one to criticize another human being. You'll see her sitting almost at a different table every day for lunch. Taja stands at about 5'10 in height, being one of the tallest girls in her class. The best way to describe Taja is understanding and trustworthy. Taja has never spread any malicious gossip, nor has she ever broken a promise. However, if you do break Taja's trust, you will see her angry side, which is very rare, and it will take a while before she'll even begin to talk to you again, probably being her biggest downfall.
Taja has three loves in her life. One being her Violin. She loves the Violin, and she plays beautiful music every day after school. She never gets sick of playing the Violin. Second, its her love for Botany. Taja has always been keen with plants. She grows her own garden out in the private balcony in her room. Give her any dying plant, and she'll have it back and running within a week or so. Lastly her darkest secret; her love for Max. Max being one of the other members of the old six. She's always had a big crush on him, and he always brings out her ugly laugh; not so much now though. One of her biggest wishes is to pay a song for him on her Violin.

Likes:
Violins- She will always appreciate anyone who like the violin. Her love for her Violin is outstanding.
Plants/Botany- Her love for plants is almost as big as her love for violins. Enter her room, and you'll see many plants.
Boxers- She never understood why, but she's always liked seeing guys wear boxers.
Pineapples- Ever since she was a kid, she's enjoyed pineapples.
Tattoos- She finds guys that have tattoos precious.

Dislikes:
Ignorant People- She doesn't get along very well with people that don't know what they are talking about.
Mustard- Hates the smell, taste and everything about it.
Smoking- Cigarettes are just nasty.
PDA- Taja doesn't care who you are, just don't do it in public.

Skills:
-People are always impressed by how great Taja's memory is. You can tell her anything once, and she will remember it forever. Most people however tend to think that she isn't the brightest person. However, only a few people know that she's number one in her class and has a high IQ to boost it. She is very humble about it too. She doesn't like to brag about it. Taja is great with people too, however she doesn't like being in the limelight all the time.

Weaknesses:
-Her biggest weakness is the inability to trust people right away after they have broken her trust. Her soul is like glass, you shatter it, it takes a while to fix it. Once the glass is fixed, she will start to warm up to you again, and everything will be like before. Her second weakness is her love for Max. Her old friend Helena and her younger sister Kayla know about her crush on Max. Taja doesn't know why she still has her crush on him, despite the changes.

Brief History:
-Taja was knew to the neighborhood as a child. She didn't think she'd make any friends that summer. One day after her Violin lessons, she took a different way home from the route she usually took. As she was walking she saw a few kids that looked nice, so she said hi. It was then that she met her five best friends. All five were inseparable. That was the case until Helena had an accident. After that, she was gone for a long time. During that period of time the rest of the kids began to drift away from the group. That's when she began to see changes in every single person she used to call a friend. Taja still tries to keep in touch with Max and Angela, but their differences makes it hard to do so. She misses that connection she had between her five friends and Otherworld. She still keeps those memories dear in her heart. Taja still keeps a notebook called "Otherworld Memories" kept in her closet that is filled with every adventure the fantastic six would partake on. She looks back sometimes to that notebook and can't help but to cry at how much she misses those times.

So begins...

"You will stay here forever!" A familiar voice cried inside her head. She was dreaming, and she was well aware of it. However, she did not know what was going on, and with a loud noise she sprung upwards waking up in the process. Taja has not had a dream that intense in a long time. The scary fact was, she had a feeling it had to do with.. She shook her head to get rid of the thought. "Those moments have long passed, it is all in the past and I should not be dreaming about that kind of stuff anymore," she said as she was getting read for school.

Taja finished with everything this morning and headed down stairs. She saw her mother making eggs as she approached the kitchen. "Hello mother!" she said happily, "Are you coming to come see my performance later? It's at 1:30 in the auditorium." She asked with hope. However her mother had to work and turned her down. Taja was used to not seeing her mother at big events such as this. The sad thing is that today she was going to be reviewed on her violin talent. If she were to get good enough reviews, she would be able to travel for part of the summer to Asia an perform for a whole audience.

Taja decided to walk to school today since she woke up so early. She walked inside school to be greeted by a huge poster of herself, and the principal Mr. Howard. "Hey Mr. Howard, is that for later today?" she asked as she was becoming overwhelmed with this. However, Taja didn't give him much chance to answer, she saw an opening and took off to her locker. On the outside Taja looked happy and excited, however on the inside, she was worried that she might mess up this huge opportunity. She didn't want to think of that right now though, she wanted to get through this day with no more worries. She felt fine for only a short while, until she walked into homeroom and saw who was sitting in the back. Tired looking, he looked so peaceful at rest. However, Taja wouldn't sit with him, it would be too awkward. She took her respective seat and began to read waiting for the morning announcements.

Lena walked in and took a seat, meticulously taking her toy out of her bag and placing it on the desk next to her. She looked over to catch sight of two of her "targets" Maxwell and Taja, some of the people she was going to reclaim for Otherworld. Though maybe that was not the best time to do so.

She took a very worn out looking book from her bag and turned her attention to that, deciding not to dwell too much on the whole thing right then, not in the least because she felt a tiny little grudge in spite of herself.

The redhead was quite intelligent, but her grades rarely seemed to reflect it. She tended to coast along on passable but not exceptional by any stretch, with art being the only subject she could be said to do well in, and even then only on work she could choose the subject of. Her actual still life work was always of the minimal quality possible. Whilst her notebook doodles were always intricate and detailed.

Taja listened to the announcements as they went on not to long ago. Nothing important was happening today again, as their high school only focuses on big sport events. Nothing about the Arts. Taja knows the talent in the art classes, and she wishes that that talent was not being overshadowed by sports. Taking Helena for example, Taja always knew how talented she was at Art. Although the new principle is trying. He is making everyone miss six period to come watch her evaluated performance later.

As Taja was reading her book, she could not shake this feeling that someone kept looking at her. She took the moment to look up in from her book. She scoped the room in hopes that Max was sitting behind her was staring at her. That idea was shot down as he was still slouching back on his chair. She still could not shake the feeling so she glanced over to the other corner of the room to see a familiar face staring over at Taja's direction; it was Helena. She was looking at Taja with such a look that read "I'm coming for you". Instead of giving her a weird look, Taja simply waved at her and went back to her book.

Funny thing about her book selection. Taja reads books that have to deal with fantasy worlds, and adventures that are out of this world. It is not a coincidence between her experiences with Otherworld and her selection of books. In a way, that book is the last link keeping her bond with Otherwold. Whether Taja knows it or not, she will not stop reading them. It is all in her subconscious. Taja got up from her desk to throw a piece of paper out when she noticed something Max was wearing. She noticed a bracelet he was wearing among other ones. Taja couldn't believe what she was seeing. That same bracelet is the one she made for Max on his 8th birthday. She couldn't help but smile like a fool as she was heading back to her desk. It was then when she saw another familiar face walk through the door.

Angela sat in front of her flowery vanity mirror, pictures of her lining the edge. She dabbed on mascara as she curled her blonde hair and brushed it out, letting the soft waves fall over her shoulders all the way down to her thigh when she was sitting, and top of her hips when she stood. She pulled on a Prussian Blue sweater and a white skirt with native american black designs on it, black nylons, and black sneaker wedges with gold gems on them. Grabbing her black school purse, she was hit with a sudden wave of depression and pain. She faltered, leaning on her bedpost.

A woman was approaching her, thorns extending from her head and long blonde hair curling around her waist. Angela looked at her as tears began to fall down her face. "No, no, no..."

Angela took a shaky breath as the dream receded. She hadn't felt that pain since her parents died. She knew what that...that thing was, and she wasn't going to let it ruin the image she had in place. Angie straightened, put on a sardonic smile, and strutted down the stairs into the kitchen.

"Morning, sweetie," her aunt said, tossing her a muffin.

"Yeah, whatever," Angie took a bit and rolled her eyes, her aunt's cheery expression dropping almost imperceptibly. Angie pretended not to notice, and gave a little wave as she walked out the door towards her cherry red VW bug.

When she arrived at school, she walked through the halls confidently as her ladies followed behind her. They ruled the school and Angie was at the head. She saw a little freshman looking at a picture in her locker and she laughed. "Please, that boy is way out of your league," and the young girl flinched, closing her locker and hurrying away. Angie's girls laughed behind her as Angie continued her patrol down the hallway, passing along crude comments to anyone she saw worthy of them.

She arrived in the classroom and looked around at the people, spotting three of her old friends from childhood, and practically gagging as she walked past them, making sure it was noticed. She trailed her fingers along Taja's desk, smiling sweetly.

"I'm looking forward to seeing your performance, Taja...I hear it's supposed to be particularly...interesting." Angie planted that thought in the girl's head as she took her seat. Maybe she would actually do something to screw the girl over. It might be fun. Until then, she settled in her seat and let the people in the room bask in the glory of her presence.

Something seemed...different. Max could easily blame it on the fact that he hadn't been sleeping well, or maybe he was on something that was making him paranoid (wouldn't be the first time), but when Helena sat down...she seemed to look right at him. That in itself wouldn't have been so weird...if he and his old friends hadn't spent the last ten years thoroughly avoiding each other, despite being in the same building for eight hours everyday of the week.

Her attention shifted to Taja, and his followed hers for a moment, but he didn't give much thought to his old friend. Instead, he huffed out a breath of annoyance for being so thoughtful about his surroundings before sinking lower in his seat, pulling his hood down over his eyes. No one would bother him, they knew he didn't have much potential. But as the class wore on, he found himself absentmindedly playing with the blue bracelet around his wrist. He had dozens, on both arms, well worn from never taking them off, but that always caught his attention without him even realizing it.

When the bell finally rang he was the last one who managed to drop his feet to the ground and push himself up. For his age, the struggle of standing was ridiculous. But he was running off maybe four hours of sleep for the past three days, and a handful of uppers that probably weren't doing anything good for his motor skills. Second period was another one of those classes they had all together, another one where the seat in the very back had been spared just for him. People had learned, by now, which seats were his.

He trudged in just before Angela Stephens made an appearance, making sure to spare each of them a general gag. Usually the queen bee of bitches left Max alone, he didn't really make it on her radar, but at the gag that was directed towards him he made a definite show of grabbing his crotch, telling her to 'suck it' more or less.

But, like usual, he wasn't worth her time, she went on to bugging Taja after that. What was it with people to day, being particularly obnoxious? Man, he needed a fix. Maybe someone was carrying...he'd figure out next period, or ditch lunch, one of the two.

As usual, Joe was late to school. Dealing drugs was a time consuming business at times. Once you built up your reputation, you needed to stand in the same place every day at regular periods of time. If you weren't there when one of your customers was craving a fix, then they would be easily picked up by a rival drug dealer. Personally, Joe dealt drugs near the back of the high school building an hour before school started, but today, a few of his usual customers were late so he was obliged to wait for them. Not that he minded too much. The smoke from the marijuana cigarette he was smoking kept him warm. Nonetheless, when he entered the building, he knew he had missed his first class. No matter.

He trudged in a classroom, noting the appearance of several of his old friends. He raised an eyebrow. Helena was oddly focused. He wondered if she was going through withdrawal... No, she didn't do drugs. At least, not recreational drugs. He snorted as Angela tried to intimidate Taja. He walked past her.

"Good morning, Angel. How was your test? Did it turn blue?" he told her with a smirk. He elicited a few giggles from her cronies. That was loyalty for you.

Brinn was dragged out of sleep by the loud screech of her alarm clock. The only remnants of her dream last night that she could recollect were the frantic sound of fluttering wings, and the feeling of being chased. She, however, gave no thought to it, though the dream felt somewhat familiar. Rubbing her eyes, she sat up and turned off her alarm. She quickly made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and shower.

After her morning routine was over, she went into the kitchen to see her a a small container full of muffins sitting on the counter. They must've been from her neighbor, Mrs. Lounsbury, across the hall. She was a very nice old lady, and one of the few people Brinn actually trusted a little. But, the lady had a habit of using the spare key Brinn entrusted her with to leave little surprises. She leisurely ate a few muffins, and decided it was time to go to school.

Grabbing her backpack, Brinn left her apartment, and started walking to school. Her apartment was a very small one; it was all she could afford with the small job she had. But, she had found a way to live on her own, and that was better than anything. After fifteen minutes of walking, the school building finally came into view.

By the time she made it to homeroom, almost all the students had already arrived. With her head down, she quickly found a seat and sat down. She caught sight of Angela trying to intimidate Taja and sighed. It was hard to imagine that she hadn't been like that when she was younger. She did, however, quietly laugh to herself as Joe made a joke at Angela's expense.

The tinny voice came onto the speakers and read the morning announcements. Brinn never paid attention to this, there wasn't really a point. When the bell rang, Brinn started to leave homeroom and go to her class.

Taja watched as her old best friend was approaching her desk. It's funny when Angela tries to intimidate Taja. It simply never works. It's true, it hurts Taja every time she tries to intimidate her, but in reality Angela doesn't have anything on Taja. To end the awkward silence, Taja simply replied, "Yeah, you're right, it should turn out interesting. We'll just see what happens." With that she gave a nice grin. Angela was taken back at that. Probably wasn't expecting such a response. With that she left her desk and took her girl possy with her as she was heading out the door. In the meanwhile, Joe walked by. He was funny. The things he would say to make Angela show any emotion was priceless. She continued to tune in.

Angela retorted back insulting his smell. She wasn't too awfully off. Joe did send off quite a smell, and it was a good smell but he applied way too much. After the whole episode the teacher walked in. She told everyone to quiet down so he could take attendance and begin the lecture. Taja was having troubles concentrating on the English lesson, since her mind was full at the moment. Her old friends fighting, a weird feeling that Otherworld is trying to connect the six again, and her violin lesson. Only 4 more classes until that happens and Taja isn't quite sure if she can make it.

Class ended and Taja decided to head to her locker to pick up some things for her next class. As she started walking she heard a heated conversation coming from the next room over. It wasn't a big surprise to see Angela being part of it, however Taja wasn't expecting Helana, of all people, to be talking back to someone like Angela. TO be quiet honest this conversation was interested, and she was willing to skip her next class to see where this was going to lead.

Taja continued her eavesdropping as the fight escalated between Helena, Angela and Joe? What is he doing there? Was he always there? She thought to herself as she continued to watch. Nothing much was happening as she only heard laughing and a couple gasps from the other students. She got bored and slowly turned to walk away. She got a couple steps away from the room when she heard this screech from the room she was listening to. She recognized that screech; it being Helena's. Taja got worried that Angela would go as far as hurting Helena. Taja was got into the room and saw a few things that shocked her. Helena was on the floor and Helena was in his arms. Knowing Joe's history, Taja wondered if he drugged her. "Joe, did you drug her? Did you get her like this?" She asked as she couldn't believe her eyes. "Or was it you Angela? Did you hit her? Was this your fault?" Taja exclaimed as she turned her attention from Angela to take a closer look at Helena. Her eyes. What's wrong with her eyes? She thought as a look of panic took over her whole face. I've seen that look from her before. This cannot be happening. No. Not now! She thought as she shut her eyes. She then turned to look at Angela. Their eyes met and emidietly they both knew that "it" was happening again.

"I haven't given her anything," Joe growled. He glanced at Taja. It was like they were having a reunion or something. He glanced down at Helena, his eyes widening when he saw eye movements. He had seen her this before, but, no, Other world wasn't real. She wasn't real. Helena must be hallucinating.

"Damn it, Helena. Wake up," he told her.

Angela looked away from Taja, not willing to subject herself to whatever feelings the girl was projecting. After all, Angela had planned to sabotage the girl's career as a violinist later, and this wasn't going to make her change anything. Joe snapped at her and she sneered. Helena was twitching and it was definitely freaking her out. The cold presence around her shoulders was back, stronger than ever, filling her heart with despair.

Suddenly then, Max jumped out of no where and started checking her arms, surely for needle marks. Angela snorted, looking at her old friends like they were idiots. "Don't you all see? She's a lunatic, having a seizure or something. The world will be a better place without crazies like her infecting our hallways." Angela crossed her arms over her chest, seeing the cheerleader that Max had sectioned off as his personal errand runner huddling in the corner. Angela was definitely friends with the cheerleaders, they didn't dare cross her.

Angela saw the situation with Helena get worse as Max pressed paper towels to her face. "Oh, for Gods sake. Do you wall know nothing? That won't wake her up. Give me that." Angela commanded to a junior student, holding her hand out for the ice water bottle he was holding. When she touched the freezing liquid, it was as if the presence around her got stronger. The ice making the despair grow. Angela shut her eyes against the feeling, willing herself not to show weakness. The presence faded, shifting to an idle draw around her shoulders again.

Angela huffed, walking over to the desperate boys and obviously insane girl, before dumping the bottle of water on her head. "There. That should wake her up."

Helena hid out in a patch of dense woodland, having covered the distance well enough whilst the equine headed bounty hunter was recovering its composure and cleaning its pike.

She leaned on the tree, listening out for its approach.

Upon hearing the footsteps she tensed, but soon determined that they were far too close together to be the sentinel. She looked round to find herself facing Jack, and gave a sigh of relief.
"I am at school...I was...something just. I did not come here willingly." she replied.
"...if...if nothing else I should not be here long."

She pushed herself forwards and walked after him, still on high alert. Jack was a welcome sight, but would not necessarily save her.

"Everything's after me." she remarked, splashing some water over her shoulder.
"Last night it was the serpents, today it's the sentinel, everything wants to murder me...more that usual..."

She unwound a band of fabric from her leg and tied it round her shoulder as a makeshift bandage. Her arm was not too strong, but it prevented to blood trail for the moment.

The girl looked over at him and pursed her lips. He was such a pessimist. All the talk about dropping her plans. She'd barely started them. Perhaps it was because the young man had never met any of the others that he was lacking faith in them. He would see though.
"And I will get them to come back...I just need more time."

Time though, was clearly not on her side, as the sound of foot steps and metallic grunts issued from the trees closeby. Helena was on her feet as the sentinel burst through the undergrowth, pike in hand, and she bolted for the trees. She would have been concerned for Jack, but the things did not pursue him. He seemed to exist in a curious state of immunity to many of the horrors. Helena was not nearly as lucky.

She ran as fast as she could toward the trees, doing her best to disregard the pain the vibrations caused her. Darting round a corner to take advantage of the tall beast's enormous strides, it allowed to her escape its sight line for a few moments, sufficiently time to leap up into a tree and clamber a ways up before it thundered into view, snorting.

She crouched in the fork, watching it hesitate, casting its head round back and forth as it tried to come to a conclusion regarding the disappearing girl.

Soon it was going to discover the perch.

Then a slight glimmer caught her eye.
A vine grew round the tree, a bright vermillion lined with sickle leaves...that were sharp as razors. Daggervines. Just what she needed. Silently, Helena reached over with her free hand and grasped a hand full of it, just as the metal head tilted up toward her.

She jumped.

Using the momentum she sung over, round in an arc and clashed the sharp vine into the spine of the hunter. There was a burst of fire and oil, a screech of metal, and the body collapsed into a burning heap as its core melted its shell.

Helena herself landed on both feet on the floor, flexing her sliced and bleeding hands before walking over toward the head, which rocked gently.
"Oh...um...hello there. Now..I hope you didn't take what I said earlier...about the head thing as real...it was..merely a figure of speech...I did not mean your actual head...oh no not at all!" it exclaimed.

The girl took the ridge along the top in hand, lifting it from the floor.
"Now...now you wouldn't do anything untoward whilst I'm helpless would you? " it asked.

She looked around until she caught sight of a creature burrow between some tree roots, and walked over to it, turning the head face toward the hole and stuffing it inside with force.
"Oh now that's just petty." came a muffled retort.

Helena turned and walked away. She was still dripping small splatters of blood onto the ground behind her. Brilliant, she would be much too easily tracked like that. But she had a feeling that she was going to have to deal with that lat-

Helena's eyes snapped back to focus and she coughed, spitting out some water onto the carpet.
"...uh...hi?" she greeted after a moment, realizing that she was lying on the floor, and everyone was very much staring at her.

"No. Helena is clean," Joe told Max. For a moment, he could not help his lips twitching into a small smile. It was almost like a reunion after speaking to each other that much in what felt like forever. He glared at Angela when she dumped water onto Helena' s face, but couldn't complain when Helena opened her eyes. He grinned at his old friend.

"Welcome back to the real world," he told her. He didn't notice it, but he gripped hand, "Are you okay? What happened?"

He always hated to see Helena hurt. Even when they were kids, he was the first with bandages for her s and a kind word. Of course, he was a lot different back then. He had toughened up a lot over the years. Still, he always had a soft spot for the strange girl. Not once had he offered to sell her any drugs and he had made it clear that if anyone bothered her, he'd bother them. Still, he felt guilty. He had drifted away from her and the others over the years. He hadn't meant, but things happened. Things like Al.

"Please tell us."

Taja just kept to herself as this commotion went on around her, and to be honest she didn't know what to do exactly. Taja was clearly on defending Helena, but she didn't want to leave Angela on her own either. She knew Angela was wrong, but she was still an old friend and it felt wrong to just push her away some more. With that, Taja just stayed in the background not sure of what to say to what was going on. It was happening so quick that she was starting to get very overwhelmed with the situation.

Taja watched as Taja decided to take it into her own hand and pour ice water on Helena. That got her worried because knowing Angela she was just making it worse. However, Helena did react to the ice water and began going back to normal. Taja gave out a sigh of relief because Helena was going to be okay. "Guys, she going to be fine just give her some room and allow her to get up." Taja suggested. As that was happening, the final member of the six entered all too late. "What is this a reunion?" Taja said with amazement. "We haven't all been in the same room and actually interact with each other in years." Taja said as she helped Helena get off the floor and onto her two feet.

"Can someone help me get her to the nurse's office?" Taja asked as she put one of Helena's arms around her neck. "You know, just to be really sure that she is going to make it out okay" She added, "Max. You wanna help me?". Taja asked, and by the look on his face he was shocked to be picked.

The red haired girl blinked a couple of times, attempting as best she could to respond to Joe's question. Why was Joe there? That was odd.

"...the mechanical horseman stabbed me with a pike.."
Helena sat up, pushing some of her dripping crimson hair out of her face.
"...but then I removed his head."Uh...sorry...I'm okay...just saw something...then it went all...weird.."

She had no idea why she was soaking wet, but considering the argument that was taking place between Max and Angela, she could give a fair guess as to its source. Lena groaned.

She had a serious headache and Angela's bitching didn't help things.
She was also, admittedly, starting to get pretty self conscious about the number of people staring at her. She was used to being an outcast, certainly, but the active level of derision she attracted was minimal usually. Generally Angela and her minions might give her hassle about her toy or her sweaters, or shed get some insults thrown at her in the corridor. No-one seriously messed with her, and this was a little overwhelming.

Staring to feel a bit on the uncomfortable side she pulled the sodden woolen clothing off, revealing the top she had underneath, with elbow length sleeves, and showing her shoulders, which contained a notable amount of scar tissue across it and round the base of her neck. A result of a certain accident that she could not properly recall.

"I'm fine." she insisted.
"It's not a medical thing. Seriously. You would not find something wrong...sides from maybe a cut or bruise on my shoulder right now.."

She got to her feet, leaving drops of water on the carpet, and looked round for Space Coyote, in time to hear the remark about burning it. At that she turned on Angela, smiling a little bit.

"Hey, Angela. I know you're getting the dreams too." she stated.
"They'll only get worse. And Space Coyote is probably more of a danger to you, than you are to Space Coyote, trust me."

Helena dismissed her armed around Taja and sat up looking perfectly fine. She looked uncomfortable however. Probably from all the stares everyone was giving her. Poor thing was probably not used to being in the middle. "Alright, if you insist that you're okay, then I believe you," Taja said to Helena. "Just make sure to keep it together girl. We don't want another accident." She said smiling, trying to ease off this thick tension in the air.

Few moments passed, and Helena began to take off her wool sweater off revealing some unique marks around her neck. That is when it clicked. Ar.. are those from the accident?! Taja thought as it all made sense. Poor girl, she didn't deserve to be in that accident. She couldn't help but stare, she was so brave. It was what Helena said afterward that took her for surprise. "Hey Angela. I know you're getting the dreams too." She started. Dreams? What dreams? She couldn't be thinking off.. She was cut off thought as Helena continued to speak. "They'll only get worse. And Space Coyote is probably more of a danger to you, than you are to Space Coyote, trust me."Space Coyote. Where have I heard that name before. It sounds so familiar. She thought as the name rang a bell. Oh no, she couldn't be talking about her "friend" could she? She thought as all these thoughts came through her head.

Suddenly the room went dark. She could vaguely see everyone. Everything was dark except for a light in the back of the room. She approached this light as she felt she was being called. Taja approached the counter and heard beautiful violin music in the background. Music that soothed her, and suddenly something appeared in front of her. It was a small plant. Oh no. This isn't what I think it is... is it? Blossom? Is that you? Blossom can you hear me? Blossom was Taja's imaginary. Probably the sweetest of the six imaginaries. They were inseparable as kids. The way Taja knew she was going to appear was from violin music playing in the background. Suddenly the music started getting darker, and more evil and bitter sounding. What's going on? Blossom? Blossom what's happening? She called out, as to maybe hearing blossom's voice again. She did hear a voice but it wasn't a sweet voice that Blossom possesed. It was a version of Blossom's that sounded bitter, and vengeful sounding.

Taja looked down at the little plant. She noticed the change from being a sweet little stub, to now a rotten looking piece of Ivy. Suddenly she felt a pull on her to look into the plant. She resisted but couldn't really because the force was too strong. She then heard a scream that frighten Taja. Following the scream she heard the voice again and this time it was comprehensible. I will do whatever it takes to bring you back! Following that she heard an evil laugh. Taja gaped closed her eyes and began gasping for air. When she opened her eyes, she was back where she was. Standing next to the other six. Attention now eyes on her. What happened? She thought as everyone now was looking at her. "Haha, sorry guys I thought I saw a spider and closed my eyes. I'm really scared of spiders as you can see." She told everyone. It was a lit however. Taja loved spiders, but she hopes that none of the other five remembers that. That proved to be wrong because the stares that she was getting from the other five read that they knew what happened. "Alright well, this is getting to be too much. I gotta go get ready for my violin show next hour so I hope to see you guys there to maybe root for me. This is big deal for me, and I hope it goes well." She said sincerely as she stepped away. As she reached the door, the bell rang. Boy, I hope that never happens again. That was too much fore me. She thought as she started for her locker. Hopefully my show will go better. I just hope that Angela's threat earlier was a joke. Boy do I hope so.

Angela's next comment was a direct hit, and he was sure she knew it. Max had a reputation, obviously, and the fact that he was very well going to end up in the yearbooks section of 'most likely to be arrested' was no secret, but he still hated hearing it coming from her. Anyone else he could take it from, but not her. "That's cool. Convicts are better company than you, at least."

He snorted as he pushed passed her, in the heat of the argument having forgotten why he was even there in the first place. "I hope all you kiddos are playing nice now, ya' hear?" The voice brought his head up, towards the doorway, where no other than the last member of their broken group was standing. Bam Bam. He would have smiled, probably even laughed, if he wasn't so wound up.

Behind him, he could hear Helena getting to her feet with Taja's help, and snorted when Helena explained herself. Then it all went weird. No shit. "What is this a reunion?" Taja said with amazement. "We haven't all been in the same room and actually interact with each other in years." He had a feeling she was just trying to take down the animosity the six had brewed up, but she was kind of right. Besides Angela's bullying and the occasional bumming drugs off each other, they really didn't interact anymore. Taja even mentioned something about taking the girl to the nurses office, asking for his help, of all people. His eyes went wide for a moment, but then Helena shrugged Taja off and continued to argue that she was fine.

Max shook his head, and was about to finally make his way out of the room when he heard Helena speak again. The mentioning of dreams shook him for a moment, and he looked over his shoulder just as Angela replied with her usual icey disregard. But this time, he took a different side. "She's right Lena. We aren't kids anymore. Drop it."

There was only a beat of silence before Taja had her own momentary freak out, eyes closed followed by a scream. She was shaking too, looked terrified really, but Max was done. "Fuck this shit," he muttered under his breath, turning on his heel. The bell rang somewhere, but he barely registered it as he barked at a few people to get the hell out of his way so he could make it to the door. He stopped by Beau, shaking his head as he looked back at Angela. "Queen Bitch is PMSing and using us as targets for the day, just so you know."

Everyone was starting to leave, but Helena, starting to get back up to speed after her unexpected trip, stepped into the doorway. She lifted one arm to left other students get away, but when it came to her once friends attempting to walk away she remained in their path.

"..you all need to listen to me. You need to come back. You need to come back to Otherworld and fix what you broke, because it's been coming after me and...you will be the ones it's after next." she stated, deadly serious.
"If you listen to me we are going to be there together and so we'll have a better chance. If you ignore me, it'll still happen, but well be split up, you'll all be taken back to your imaginary's home realms and I...well I might be dead. It's a distinct possibility."

SOunded pretty ridiculous. It definitely did. However if for nothing but her own responsibility she had to try and warn them. They needed to know that she had tried anyway, if she ended up suddenly keeling over the next day and never coming back again after whatever part of her that left for Otherworld was stuck on a pike over the beast's gates.

"..,I just want you all to know that."

Angela smiled when her comment to Max seemed to hit a nerve. "Well, I was just shooting a wild guess, but looks like I was right. You will end up in prison for the rest of your life." Angela laughed then, as well as the rest of the class. She started to move forward, fanning the air around her. "Now, if you'll excuse me, reality calls. You crazies are infecting my airways." She walked forward but Helena stopped her. She raised her arms to push her away, after all the girl was the size of a peanut, but Helena's next words stopped her.

Angela scoffed at that. "You can't really expect me to believe that," she looked around at her former friends to see their facial expressions, "We were eight! You can't seriously mean that this Otherworld is real!" Angela said, but the minute she did a blast of ice shot through her core, blowing her hair forward and causing her to gasp with the feelings of depression and actual physical pain that coursed through her. It was as if what she said caused some sort of reaction.

Her hair stared to freeze from the bottom up, and her lips turned blue. Then, so suddenly, the freeze stopped. She resumed normality, but didn't speak. She was too cold to do that.

Joe watched Helena with a frown on his face. Could those scars be from the accident? He remembered the day he heard about the accident. It was the day everything started going downhill for him. It was like it was an omen for what was to come. Big Al came and the six drifted away soon after that.

Joe clenched his teeth as memories about his own imaginary friend came flood back. What was her name? Cadriel. He had made her up when his dad died and she had promised, no, he had her promise, that she would never let anything bad happen to him. He glared at Helena.

"Otherworld isn't real, Lena," he told her before his expression softened a bit, "Helena, holding on to that game is just setting you up for disappointment."

He felt the pain and the shame wash over him. He cried out for her, but Caladriel wasn't there. It was just Al and him. Tears streaked his cheeks and he moaned in despair, eliciting laughter and mockery from his new "dad".

He sat back on the desk, grimacing at the memory. What brought that on? He usually had greater control over his mind.
