He even talks away and forgets what he was talking about or keep talking to himself if no one really listens. He can also suddenly stop in e conversation when something pops up in his mind. He seems to be not a very calm person but he really is, if something happens he rarely freak out but takes a deep breath and think how the heck they will get out this shit. He always tries to seek people out when he's alone and he doesn't really need to talk at all if the other persons not interested. He just need the company to not feel alone. Often when there's silence around him he picks up his violin and plays a bit, to either cheer people up a little or just play something calm.

[size=90]| History |
Lucas would say that he lived a pretty normal life before he met everyone in the group, he was the last in but was never seen as anyone less then one of them. He live with his mother, father and big brother Sean. He was bullied but he didn't really care since he wasn't the only one who got bullied but everything changed when he one day said that he was gay, he had always been pretty open with his sexuality and thought everyone knew until he got the question. After that everything went down but it wasn't that bad. Sure they wrote mean things on his locker, took his clothes and so on. Not really bad things. So school was okey but then his brother found out and that was when he thought people could truly be evil. He almost got thrown out from his own home but the worst cooled down a bit. his parents didn't say and never really told Sean to keep quiet, like they didn't hear what he said.

After all that, he started taking up with playing his violin more and more but didn't know how to deal with the hate from his own brother. Things went bad after the third time he hurt himself. That's when he thought he should try with something else and soon he started on drugs. He got a few contacts within the drugs dealing. Before he knew it when he started High School, he met the most wonderful and totally imperfect persons in his life but they were his own, hiw own friends who didn't judge him and he could be himself.

At School After Elizabeth's Birthday

Sebastian wasn't feeling too hot when he woke up at Elizabeth's house with the others. The pills they had taken were probably the best he had ever tried in his life. The hallucinations had been so intense and realistic that Sebastian couldn't tell the difference between reality and hallucination. The best part was that everyone saw the same things as he did and he could see what they saw. They had spent the best birthday ever. . . Morning wasn't as nice.

At first when Sebastian had opened his eyes, everything was normal and he had that same fuzzy feeling at the back of his head just like every morning after a party. He went out on the porch to light a cigarette but then it happened. The whole world in front of him twisted like it was being sucked into one tiny hole at the extent of the horizon. The hallucinations were still there and he wasn't the only one having them. All of his other friends were going through the same thing.

They thought that maybe it was because the drug was much stronger than they had expected and that it would take a day or two to go away. . . The whole weekend went by and none of the friends had stopped seeing the demented world. They had gone to see each other to help one another fight against the scariness. Sebastian had slept over at Seth's place. He hadn't slept throughout the whole night because of the dark visions and disturbing sounds. Their life was a living nightmare without having to worry about the real world, but now school was back and they would have to deal with their visions muddling with reality.

"Hey, Sebastian, you got anything for me?" The voice was familiar. It was Brandon, the porch driving jock in Sebastian's economy class. They weren't on bad terms wince Sebastian would sell him weed ridiculously over price, but Brandon was too rich to care.

Sebastian turned around to look at who he knew was Brandon, but when he saw him it was simply Brandon's steroidal pumped body with a Picasso face. His eyes were triangles pointed in one directing, his mouth was a simple line and his nose was a rectangle. He was Picasso's exceptional work of art mixing both the profile of a person and a person facing forward. Sebastian couldn't help from staring in shock which obviously bothered Brandon who started approaching Sebastian imposingly.

"Um. . . sorry,"Sebastian snapped out of his stupefied state, "I didn't get you any, how about tomorrow."

"Yeah," Brandon's answer was hesitant and questioning so Sebastian left before he became any more suspicious.

The whole hallway was a jungle, and not even a normal one at that. There were plants constantly over growing and dying and when they toppled over Sebastian got scared at moved aside. Evading the hallucinations made him bump into people and only got him even more hysterical. The hallways was continuously being crossed by moving foliage, vines coming down from the ceiling and withering then falling to the ground and melting into it. Branches popped out of the walls causing Sebastian to jerk to the side and hit his head onto someone else's. Things were getting much too oppressing and invasive.

He started to run while rolling on the ground dodging the vigorous plants like a marine in training. He had to go to the group's hideout situated behind the wall of the second floor, girls bathroom, fourth bathroom stall going from the right. He finally reached the bathroom. There was nothing inside, it was a regular bathroom until he opened the door to the fourth bathroom stall. There was a huge monster with teeth as long as an elephant trunk. Every single one of it's teeth were of that length and his body resembled an ape. Sebastian almost let out a shout but he put his hand in his mouth and bit down. He started to bleed but the hallucination did not go away. He tried to get past the creature hoping it was truly only a hallucination but he hit the smelly and sturdy beast.

"Hallucinations aren't supposed to be real, they're only supposed to look real!" Sebastian fell to the floor out of breath.

Finally, he slipped under the creature. He had just enough time to push the unstable block of a dozen white bricks stuck together but not well fixated to the wall next to the toilet. He jumped through hole and quickly put the block of bricks back into the wall like the last piece of a puzzle. It was dark behind the wall and Sebastian's breathing was heavily echoing in the shadows. Life had just taken a turn he had never expected.

The new drug that Sebastian came with was utterly wonderful, Lucas had never taken anything even close to it and when all the others seemed to see the same thing. It was amazing. The hallucinations were colourful and weird, like a jungle, a desert or a plain. Plants seemed to rise all around them from nowhere, from the floor, out of the walls and hanging from the roof. The drug should wear off after a few hours or a day but as he stayed at Liz's place and woke up next day it hadn't wore off at all. Maybe it was too strong? Take some time to wear off? He spent the whole weekend at her place until they all actually had to go home for school tomorrow.

When Lucas left, the whole world was still alive. Just like it had been at Li'z place. The roads seemed not to follow any particular way, the lamp post moved with the wind but changed to something. A plant with a mouth? Like those who eat insects. He shook his head and sighed. Everything was just a hallucinations and he knew his way home with even closed eyes, he'd been at everyone's place a lot of times since he joined them.
He tried not to pay much attention on what happen around him, how the plants grew and the road spinning, curling and here and there animals, or no. Beast appeared. They must be some kind of beasts. They were too different from animals that lived here. He pressed down his hands in his pockets and looked down at the ground, grass and colourful flowers appeared were he stepped on the ground.

It took a while for him to arrive at home, he could have asked for a drive home or even take his bike but he was more of a walking person. Enjoyed to walk around no matter what weather was. As he slowly approached his home which seemed to actually look normal. Like it always did but there was something that made him stop in his tracks. Something stood on the walkway to the door. He continued to walk, carefully now because even if everything just was a hallucination, his mind would still think it was real. The beast looked like a purple and green striped deer with huge antlers, moss and small flowers growing on them and glowing yellow eyes. It looked quite beautiful, like a fantasy deer. He chuckled softly for himself, it was quite amusing how real everything looked. He went to walk pass it but froze when he felt it's breath on his cheek. Hallucination, it's just a hallucination. His minded screamed as he turned to the deer, slowly reaching for the deer's muzzle and felt the warm and wet breath on his hand. He held his breath as he got closer and closer and when he almost placed his hand on the muzzle, the deer grew sharp black teeth and snapped at him. He jerked away and a scream almost forced it's way up but he manage to push it down. Holding his breath as he quickly moved to the door, not daring to release it until he turned around and the deer stood still at it's place, staring at him.
He took a few deep breaths. He could handle this, there's nothing to freak out about. He can handle scary or stressed or anything at all with a calm mind but this? It was really fucking scary. A smile tugged at his lips, he swore. Nothing he usually did. He turned again and open the door, carefully walking inside so that his parents wouldn't hear him. He needed to sleep it off for tomorrow, how would he manage school if it continued? People would probably think he finally lost his mind or something. He passed the living room and kitchen, almost at the stairs when he heard a voice behind him.

"Oi, freak. Were have you been? You said you would come back yesterday, you know. Saturday not Sunday." Sean said mockingly and Lucas rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry but I stayed a bit longer, Liz had the whole house for herself." Lucas answered without turning.
"Not that I care but what the fuck was that on the porch? You taking something? Because you paled and reached for something and then jerked away. I'll tell mom you're on drugs or some shit."
Lucas sighed deeply and finally turned around but froze. This was not happening. Were his asshole for a brother should stand, stood a dead man. Or no, it wasn't a dead man but the flesh was burnt, dark and rotten. Black eyes with blood running down from them, no nose, one side of the jaw torn up so you could see the teeth, well what was left of them. Torn clothes. He looked just like a zombie but his voice was just the same.
"What are you staring at faggot?" The voice had changed to something raspy, gurgling and that was it. The walls around them seemed to rot and it was too much for Lucas to take, he open his mouth to something, anything but what came out was a scream and he stumbled. Fell to the ground before bolting up and run out from there. Sean grabbed his arm to stop him.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" The raspy, gurgling voice said that was not his brother but a creature of death and decay. He screamed again in terror and manage to wretch free, run out from there and out on the street. Everything seemed to grow hostile and horrible around him, it was bad. He had no idea what to think or anything until he heard the horn from a car and everything happen in slow motion. The car looked normal and he just stared at it, couldn't move but luckily it only barely touched him, knocked him to the side and he hit his head on the pavement.

He thought he heard voices but the ringing in his ears was too loud, blurry figures around him. Everything seemed to slowly darken around him and then suddenly he woke up in a unknown room. He sat up suddenly and regretted it immediately, his head was pounding. Groaning he laid down again when a voice startled him.
"So finally awaken? Mom will kill you for this." His brother said from the side and Lucas sighed deeply. Great. He was at the hospital. What happen? He tried to think back, he had been screaming and been terrified then a car came from somewhere. It must have hit him. God, his head hurt.
"Did you call them?" He asked and looked towards his brother.
"Of course I did. But I didn't tell her the whole thing. What the heck was that back there? You screamed when you looked at me and then ran out, I mean. Dude. Whatever your on, you stop right now or I will tell mom and they'll send you away." Sean said with a slight growl.
"I went mental, that's it. Too much drinking and way to little sleep. You should know how a wild weekend goes." Lucas said with a shrug. "How long will I be here? How long have I even been here?" He asked with a frown and Sean shrugged.
"I called for a doctor when it seemed you would wake up, so they'll probably check you. You didn't hit your head that bad. You were just out of it for around a hour." Sean said as he stood up and stretched.
It didn't take long until a doctor came in and smiled at them. He told them how things were. That Lucas was staying over the night. They would see how he felt the next day and more, but it wasn't for sure that he could leave the next day. Lucas just groaned a little at the thought, spend a night here. And his mother. She will go crazy, no she is already. It won't take long before they arrive and hell goes loose. Not really but almost, he wondered what his father would say? Never mind, he would think of that later. Rest sounded great now. At least the hallucinations weren't in this room. Freaking hell those things was scary.
His parents were there for a rather short time due to the exhaustion Lucas felt. He still felt a bit dizzy but the headache was much worse then some dizziness. He could really take dizziness any day then a bad headache. He slept a bit, well as much as he could with a pounding head but he had gotten some wicked medication against it so he actually could sleep a few hours. Maybe he had been too exhausted to even notice the weirdness here? Or maybe it just gave him a rest? No, it most have gone away by now. Thank the gods for that. Not that he's really religious but you know, things you just say. By the next day he felt better, his headache was still there but no dizziness so he was allowed to leave the hospital. His parents were working so his brother picked him up.

"If you do one more stunt like this again, I'll leave you there." Sean said when they were in his car and Lucas only sighed. He picked up his cellphone, but it was dead. The hallucinations hadn't left at all and shocked him when he walked out from the hospital. It was awful, what if they never left? How would he be able to live like this? He couldn't call anyone so decided to go to the one who lived closest and it happen to be Emelia's place.
"Could you drive me to Emelia's house? I can walk home from there, just want to talk to her about school things." Lucas said and hoped that his brother would do as he asked.
"Okey, but I won't pick you up there. Get home by yourself." Sean had only answered and it was good enough for him.

As soon as they came to Emelia's house and Lucas got out off the car, Sean drove quickly away from there. Did they others still have the hallucinations? He really hoped that or he actually finally went mental, which wouldn't surprise him but you could always hope. He touched the back off his head and felt the stitches as he walked to the door. He was about to knock on the door when he heard something from the inside. He opened it up slowly.
"Hey, Emmie. I think I'm going mental or-" He stopped talking when he got in and saw the others. Emelia on the ground with Seth next to her. He had never seen her so pale and scared before. What was happening? He stood still at the door, looking from Emelia to Ginger then Sebastian. Liz were nowhere to be seen. There was something really wrong here. Should he go in or, wee were should he go? He was pretty alone without them and whatever they saw, he doubted that the police or anyone else could see it all. Whatever they were staring at in the living room He carefully walked inside to them and saw the two men in the living room. Who the hell were they? Were did they come from? Any why were the others just staring at them.
"Who are those two?" He whispered to Sebastian.

A nightmare. Everything was just a nightmare. Sebastian didn't want to believe what the well dressed man was saying. It was just a hypothesis, but Sebastian guessed that they were being counted to see who would be killed. The monster back in the bathroom stall was a joke compared to these two men. They made Sebastian feel oppressed, forced into lowering his head and shutting up for once in his life.

Sebastian was so caught up in his own fear that he didn't notice the rocker man glare at Emilia. The poor girl fell to the floor. Seth had a faster reaction to what happened than Sebastian. He rushed toward her and kept close. So did Ginger. But Sebastian was too scared to move. His whole body was in rejection with itself. The fear, the cowardice, the resent toward the men, Sebastian was shaking from all of those feelings. He couldn't get himself to move from the couch because he didn't know what the man had done to Emelia to cause her to go into such shock. But Sebastian also wanted to pounce on the man and rip his throat out.

"What now?" Asked Seth to anyone who could answer.

Sebastian wasn't one of those capable of answering, he was still gritting his teeth from anger and yet letting them shake from his distress. He didn't know what next, there wasn't much to do against these sort of people. Were they even people? And what sort of people were they? Why did Sebastian have such a terrible feeling around them?

"Why us?... I mean I know we're not very good kids, but does that mean we really have to...." Ginger looked at the men and asked with quivering in her voice.

Lucas unexpectedly opened the door and stopped in his sentence. Seeing two strangers in your friend's house and your concerned friend on the floor pale as the dead was pretty perturbing. Lucas walked in and passed the two men who had oddly happy cheery expression son their face. Then Lucas asked Sebastian who they were.

"They're Imaginerium Fay, creatures of this world we're stuck in, the world where we see hallucinations," explained Sebastian. Well at least he told him what he had understood.

Adisa and Briar

"Adisa, that's enough," Briar warned Adisa with a menacing stare.

Briar heard what Seth had said about what to do next so he approached the boy a little and kept eye contact, "What now? Well it's simple, you let us have our fun and you just do what you do best as humans. Be afraid."

Adisa laughed in the background and answered Ginger's following question, "It has nothing to do with you being good or bad, it just has to do with your luck and you are very unlucky."

The two looked at each other in content then walked in the last one from the group. Briar counted Lucas and suddenly his sinister grin turned to a full blown grimace. Now the numbers were equaled out and that made both Briar and Adisa feel better.

"Well, we no longer need to disturb you, just live your not so normal life anymore and we might just see each other again. Just not for a talk."

The two left laughing and leaving the door open, not caring about what they were leaving behind them. They left in the blink of an eye like instant transportation or something.

Unfortunately, the Imaginerium Fay seemed to have heard him and said that they had to do what they can do best as humans, “Be afraid.” Seth thought to himself about what the Fay wanted. They wanted the gang to fear them, to despise them, to cower at their every thought of them, because eventually it wouldn’t matter when they were gobbled up and in their stomachs. Although fear was the last thing that Seth wanted to encompass in himself, it was the main thing running through his system and he couldn’t help but shiver a little at the unsettling feeling present.

“Why us?” Ginger asked. “I mean I know we’re not very good kids, but does that mean we really have to…” Ginger trailed off trembling as she spoke. The Fay laughed at the question and replied that the group’s luck chose them and that unfortunately, Lady Luck was not on their side. Suddenly Lucas entered the room, producing sinister grins on the two Fay, probably because there were more of them to consume. It seemed Lucas was in the same situation as Seth and the others were because he asked Sebastian who they were, who explained everything to him.

“Well, we no longer need to disturb you. Just live your not so normal life anymore and we might just see each other again. Just not for a talk.”

With that said, the two Fay left behind in a flash. Seth realized that they needed to think of something before the Imaginerium Fay come back to eliminate each of them. It seemed Ginger was thinking under the same lines because after she exploded in a heat, she stood up, paced around the room, and said they needed to think of a plan, calmly and rationally. Seth gripped his gun for the first time since he left the school grounds. He wondered why he didn’t think of using his revolver or at least his knife, but then again he didn’t want to endanger his friends. If what the Fay said was true, they were trapped in hallucinations that others were not experiencing, but were very real to them. Seth then wondered why his gun was able to penetrate the monster’s skin back at the school, or whether that was all a lie spun by the world itself. He wondered if his weaponry would be of any use, or if there could be any object he can use to manipulate the Fay somehow, but he doubt that anything of the real world would have any effect now. Seth was a man of action, but now it seemed that all he could do was be inactive since manipulation of the real world wouldn’t help their situation. He felt useless, gazing at his friends seeing their anger, their fear, and despair. Yet he felt the slightest bit hopeful, for reasons he couldn’t think of except his loyalty to his friends. Seth felt there had to be a way out of their situation, but what. Then he realized there is something they can use to maneuver around this imaginary yet real hell and he spoke it out loud, “Ourselves. We can manipulate ourselves and manipulate the Imaginarium. That’s...that’s gotta be our ticket out…right?”

Lucas stood still and stared at the Fay. The Imaginarium Fay? What in the gods name had happen? Lucas took a few calculated and calm breaths. He didn't usually freak out but that's probably because they never met something unreal. Real situations can be solved but unreal like this one? Fear slowly crept it's way through his body but he tried to at least stay calm, there was no use in panicking and create more distress around here then necessary. How could this happen to them? How could they get out from all this? Everything still seemed like a dream, a very terrible and frightening one.

He couldn't help the flinch he made when Ginger made her outburst when he got lost in thought. Ginger had a point in what she said, they all needed not to panic and try to stay calm and then Seth said something interesting.
"Do you really think we can do that? Manipulate the Imaginerium? I'm sorry for doubting that but.. I saw something really terrifying yesterday." He said with a slight tremor in his voice. His head was slowly pounding again as if it had been gone for a bit but reminded him again that it's still there. He winced a bit and placed a hand carefully on the back of his head where he had hit it on the gravel.

"I think we all need to breathe a little. I'm sure what you come up with is good ideas but I know my head is still a bit.. Mushy to think. I got a really bad headache." He turned around to walk into Emelia's kitchen and fetch a glass to drink some water.
So this is real. They were trapped in this double world called Imaginerium where their hallucinations might be real and they got Imaginerium Fay after them who.. What did they want? He needed to ask the others as soon as he had calmed himself a little. He knew for sure that they meant trouble, possible the worst scenario he could think of. They wanted them dead. But why?
He drank some water and leaned his back against the sink, crossing his arms and tapped his fingers against the glass he was holding. Would they be trapped here forever or might they be able to escape all this? So many questions and so few answers. He hated it.

"Do you really think we can do that?" Lucas asked with tremors in his voice. "Manipulate the Imaginerium? I'm sorry for doubting that but...I saw something really terrifying yesterday." Upon Lucas admitting his thoughts, Seth realized that Lucas had been separated from the rest of the group and he had his own share of nightmares over the past few days. Seth as about to ask about his experiences with Imaginerium when Lucas placed his hand on the back of his head as though he was having some kind of headache. After confirming Seth’s worries, Lucas went into Emelia’s kitchen to drink some water.

All around him, Seth’s friends were suffering in some way: physically, emotionally, or mentally, or even all of the above. No words seemed to be comforting and everyone was reacting differently to this new situation. Seth then figured in times like this he just needed to move around and do something, anything. At first he paced around the room trying to assess everyone’s condition, at least what he thinks it is because he can never be sure. Emelia had suffered some sort of mind intrusion pains, Lucas is having a headache and seemed to have some sort of traumatizing experience (not that everyone else’s wasn’t), Ginger is crossing between panicking and trying to remain calm, Sebastian seems to be a bit silent, and Elizabeth lay resting on the bed still recovering from her wounds. Seth wondered whether to try and find Aspirin or some other pain killer to help Emelia and Lucas, but with the experiences they were having now, drugs don’t seem to be trustworthy anymore. He decided to go the simple route that his mother the vet often taught him to do with headaches.

Emelia seemed to be still shaken by her mental experience so Seth decided not to bother her unless necessary and went into the kitchen grabbing a large silver bowl, six small rags, and filling the large bowl with ice cold water. After filling the large bowl almost to the brim with the simple icy remedy, Seth folded the rags and set them on the water, letting each rag sink one after the other into the small water hole. After waiting a few minutes, Seth grabbed a clean white square plate and took the folded rags from the large bowl, placing each of them onto the plate. He passed by the drinking Lucas and handed him one of the soaked towels, not saying anything but “here.” He repeated the same gesture to the rest of the gang whether they were suffering some sort of migraine or not, with the exception of Elizabeth. He carefully placed the penultimate ice cold rag on top of her forehead, hoping that he could help ease the pain she was feeling by at least a little.

At the moment he placed the towel on Elizabeth’s forehead, Seth suddenly flashed to some sort of imagination that he did not initiate. Elizabeth seemed to be running in an open field as though she didn’t have any wounds. Seth ran after her until Elizabeth encountered the monster with the large teeth that was in the group’s spot in the bathroom. Elizabeth only stood there as the monster took a large bite into her arm and disappeared. She continued to stand there and face Seth while scarlet blood kept on gushing out of her arm. A pool of blood formed around her, yet Elizabeth did not exhibit some sort of pain or worry or of consciousness. Only her eyes kept staring at Seth. Seth was holding the penultimate rag in his hand and he tried to plug the hole by tying the rag around her arm. It helped for a little bit, but then the rag burned and a hole was created for the blood to seep through again. Seth couldn’t help but call out, “Liz!!!” before returning to his senses. Feeling exhausted from the nightmare, Seth took the last rag out of the bowl and moved the bowl to the side. At the floor next to the bed where Elizabeth lay, Seth lay down on the floor and placed the cold rag on his head. With exhaustion of the day and the horrible experiences and visions that he’s had, Seth couldn’t help but close his eyes and drift to sleep.

Emelia allowed her body to slowly uncurl from her hunched up position on the floor. The Fay had gone and along with them the images that had been flashing painfully through her mind. Opening her eyes, she allowed her hands to fall to her sides, as they had been twisted in her hair. For the first time she noticed Seth's proximity. It startled her somewhat and was half tempted to move away. However, she squashed the feeling and held her ground. Instead, she looked around at her friends. All of them looked a little startled and frightened, Ginger more than most. Emelia had been consumed by her own pain, that she had forgotten about the others. She gave Ginger a consoling look, biting her bottom lip worriedly. Even now, when she looked at her friends who were safe, she saw the images the Fay had pushed into her mind. Terrifying, disgusting images that would haunt her nightmares. She hoped beyond anything that they would never come true.

Looking around, she gave each of them a questioning look, as Seth moved away from her and into the kitchen. Shakily, she stood and followed him, accepting the wet rag that he offered her. She pressed it to her clammy forehead, breathing deeply in the kitchen. Silently, she turned and poured herself a glass of water from the tap, leaning against the counter. For the first time since he had arrived Emelia laid eyes on Lucas. Her mouth opened wide and the glass slipped from her fingers. It smashed loudly on the kitchen floor as she stood starting. Closing the distance between them she threw her arms around her friend. Part of her had been so worried about Lucas being missing from the group. Relief swept across her chest and she buried her face into the gap between his shoulder and neck. Clutching him, she released after a few moments. Instead she grabbed his face in her heads and stared furiously into his eyes in a motherly way, asking the simple question "where the hell have you been?"

Sebastian let out a long and relieving breath that he had been containing ever since the Fay had appeared. He flopped down onto the couch while Ginger became agitated and walked around ferociously trying to find a solution to the not dying part of this wild adventure. Truthfully, Sebastian wished for a painless death, deep down he felt that they were going to die and he was mentally begging the Fay to not kill him painfully. While Sebastian was facing what he defined at the awful truth, Seth had an idea. Manipulate Imaginerium. It sounded more like Mission Impossible and suicide that anything else. Lucas questioned him then left for a drink in the kitchen. Everyone seemed to be in need of cooling off.

Seth helped everyone by handing a cool rag to each. Sebastian quietly took hold of it and pressed it against his forehead. There were so many things happening at once. He then wondered how Emilia was doing, she had gone through some sort of mental intrusion. She was no longer in a bundle but still had a very anxious expression on her face. Sebastian wanted to cheer everyone up so that they wouldn't have that same face but he had nothing. No jokes, no stupid things to do. He was no longer Looney.

Seth went to care for Liz so Sebastian decided to roll a joint. He needed to calm down and some weed would help with that. He took out the rolling paper, the grinder, the weed and the tobacco. He started rolling but his hands were shaking so much. He had to put the rolling paper that was already fitted with tobacco on the coffee table so that he would shake all of it off. He grasped his hands together and breathed deeply. He had to do something, he couldn't stay afraid forever.

He had his sister too, she was probably home alone by now! He quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket and looked at the time. No it was only noon, she was still at school having lunch. His sister, Julia, was such a serious and dedicated student. He had to live, he had to live so that he could protect her from anything, he hadn't been able to keep her away from their abusive father and he had to make up for that.

Seth had just gotten a nightmare and called out for Elizabeth. Sebastian came closer to him while he lied himself comfortably on the ground next to the bed Elizabeth was in.

Hey, are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?” Sebastian asked cautiously and didn't wait for him to answer because he was too eager to ask, “So what were you thinking when you said that we could try and manipulate Imaginerium with ourselves?

Lucas thanked Seth for the wet rag but just held it in his hand. He felt a bit helpless from just standing there but there was no more he could do at the moment. He still had this sickening feeling in his stomach and knew it would stay there for at least today. Why did he have to freak out like that before? Well, yesterday. It would be a bit easier to deal with all this if he just didn't have this stupid headache. This would take a while to melt, just a few days ago they were He drank up the rest of the water in the glass and placed the glass on the counter. He flinched at the sudden crash of glass onto floor and then he had a handful of Emelia in his arms. He breathed out when she hugged him and hadn't thought he needed one as much as he did until he got one. A soft smile was on his lips when she let him go and grabbed his head.

"I've been.. Spending a day on the hospital and came here as soon as they let me out from there. I'm so glad that all of you were here or I'd.. I don't know. Fully lost my mind or something." He said a bit jokingly to hide that he was so terrified. He leaned forward and placed a kiss on her forehead. "What happen in there Em? You looked so much in pain.." He said worried and with a little frown. There was so much going on in his head and he was glad that he could focus on something now instead of the running thoughts.

After about ten minutes of “sleep,” Seth with eyes still closed heard Sebastian’s voice ask if he had a nightmare, followed by another question.

”So what were you thinking when you said that we could try and manipulate Imaginerium with ourselves?”

”What was I thinking? Seth wondered. He couldn’t believe he even thought of that and muttered it out loud so people like Lucas and Seth could hear it. Still, he had to explain himself.

”Well, I was thinking, since we’re stuck in the Imaginerium like those…fay said, we’re the only ones that can see and feel what’s going on in it right? We experienced it for ourselves to. Liz got hurt by…that thing…yet no one saw her wounds as though it all happened in another world, so they’re telling the truth. I’m wondering if….if maybe me shooting the monster and it vanishing was all a lie or something. “

Thinking that his guns had no effect at all kind of scared Seth but he didn’t want to admit that to Sebastian. If it was all a lie that he pulled the trigger and tried to save Liz, then he just jeopardized them both even more, and that killed him inside that he would have made things worse had someone noticed the gun shot.

”Anyways, it made me think that if things outside Imaginerium can’t have any effect on any of the stuff that it throw at us, turning that around also means that only people inside Imaginerium have any effect on it, meaning us. So when I said that we could manipulate Imaginerium, I thought that meant we could also have some effect on what happens in Imaginerium. But I mean I’m not sure what I’m really suggesting at all….”

Seth mumbled the last bit of his train of thought tired of thinking about the situation. He didn’t really like to think much about anything, but when he did he couldn’t help but at least hold on to the idea. It was the first time he had actually had to explain to anyone what he meant by the few words he said, probably due to the confusing nature of the situation, but he was tired of talking too much about things that were only conjecture. Then he realized Sebastian had asked about something else before and added, "Oh yeah, you asked me if you had a nightmare..well yeah it was about Liz. She was...bleeding out and I couldn't stop it no matter what...That won't actually happen to her would it?"

Seth didn't want to think about his nightmare again so he tried to change the subject and said, “I’m just glad Lucas is alright and here with us now, but he must have had a really rough time too. Hmm…what do you think about the situation Seb? You seemed all quiet a while back.”

"I've been.. Spending a day on the hospital and came here as soon as they let me out from there. I'm so glad that all of you were here or I'd.. I don't know. Fully lost my mind or something.

Emelia gave Lucas a rather worried look, frowning her eyebrows seriously. But when he kissed her forehead, she smiled at him, flushing ever so slightly. Emelia was very fond of Lucas and he had been one of the first that she had trusted in the group. Having him back warmed her heart. Even still, she would keep an eye on him until she was positively sure that he was alright. Better to make sure then for him to freak out on them. Well, they were all freaking out in some way weren't they? When he mentioned what had happened to her, she shuddered, closing her eyes for a second. No, she wouldn't think about it. It was far too painful. Shaking her head, she opened her eyes to stare at him long and hard, indicating that she would not burden it upon anyone. It was better left unsaid.

With a glance outside, she linked her cold fingers through Lucas'. Nodding her head towards the back door, she tugged him to follow her out there. Silently, as always, she led the way, opening the door and stepping outside. Blinking in the sunlight, she drew to a halt, her hand still holding Lucas' tightly. The back garden, in which they had been many times, looked nowhere as normal as it usually did. The grass appeared to be longer and waving gently, though there was no breeze whatsoever. The branches of the trees were twisted and bright in colour. The sky was such a brilliant blue that it blinded Emelia. She looked to Lucas. See, it can be beautiful. But despite it's beauty, she was worried about the whole situation. She had heard next to nothing of the conversation with the Fay.

Unlinking their hands, she reached up and stroked his cheek gently, before giving him a gentle, but playful push.

Lucas could see that Emelia didn't want to talk about what had happen so he let it be for now. She would talk when she thought it wanted and he wouldn't push it, even though he wanted to know what burden her. When she took a hold of his hand, he held it back and warmed it. Well, at least tried to warm it a bit. He followed her without hesitation. He would never hesitate when it came to his friends, and absolutely never when it came to Emelia.

He did however feel a bit uncomfortable to step outside but just took a deep breath. He looked down at Emelia with a uncertain smile before looking around. Everything was different and it was so weird to look at the flowing grass, the colourful trees and the bright blue sky. He blinked a few times and looked at Emelia again, saw what she wanted to say and smiled at her. "It's.. Colourful." He said thoughtful and looked forward again.

When he felt her hand on his cheek, he couldn't hold back the warm smile. The gentle push made him chuckle and he threw his arm over her shoulders to walk out in the grass where he let her go to crouch down. The grass felt like silk between his fingers. "I went home and thought I could just sleep this off. Do you know what I met on the front garden? A purple and green striped deer with huge, and I mean huge antlers. There was moss and flowers on them and it had these bright yellow eyes. It was.. So beautiful, like a fantasy beast. I thought I was still high so I was about to touch it's muzzle." He said with a low voice like everything was a secret, a dreamy secret. "As I stretched forward my hand it grew huge teeth and snapped at me, it's teeth was transparent." He stretched his hand forward and the pulled it quickly back as he talked, like he was experienced it again. He then looked at her. "Then I when inside and my brother was there. I looked at him and.." He went silent and lifted his shoulder in a small attempt to shrug. "It scared me and I went out running, then a car and you know the rest."

Emelia smiled slightly when Lucas' arm wrapped around her shoulders. As he began to recount his story, she listened carefully, her head tilted ever so slightly to one side. The story started out well, but a prickle at the base of her neck told her that it wasn't going to end well. Nothing to do with the Imaginerium never ended well. Already she was fearing what was coming. Almost immediately it became a story of fear and terrifying monsters. It tore at her heart. Lucas had been entirely alone when all of this was happening to him. At least she had had Elizabeth, Sebastian and the others to rely on. But he had been completely alone. She had no idea how that must have felt for him. Scared beyond belief, with no-one to turn to, no-one to even talk to. Before she could offer any comfort, something moved close to Lucas' foot. Frowning, she moved her head to stare among the grass.

Something was moving through the waving tendrils. Emelia followed it with her eyes, though she could see nothing but the bending of the grass. It inched further away, towards the end of the garden. It was leaving them alone. That was something strange. Usually the creatures attacked, but this appeared to be leaving. She almost released a sigh of relief. Until a long tentacle launched itself from the depths of the grass, right towards Lucas.

"Lucas!" The word burst from Emelia's lips, tearing at her throat as it left. Forcefully, she pushed him out of the way. Both of them tumbled to the ground, the tentacle colliding painfully with her left hip, but unable to grasp either of them. It was her fault. She had brought them outside. Half lying on top of Lucas, she searched his face for any signs of pain, before pulling him to his feet. They had to leave the garden. Easier said than done. A dozen tentacles had emerged from the grass.

When Seth started jumbling out all of his ideas Sebastian had a hard time following. Something about the effect of one part of the world and the other. What sort of consequences they had on each other. What Sebastian was getting so far was the what was in Imaginerium had no effect on what was in the Real World and what was in the Real World had no effect on Imaginerium. That was a solid conclusion seeing what happened earlier. Seth was right about how they were the only ones who could have some sort of impact on Imaginerium.

Okay, I see where you're going at this,” Seb gave himself a second to think then heard Seth answer his previous question, “Seth, nothing is going to happen to Elizabeth or anyone else in here!

He didn't shout, he was just firm, even more confident than what he expected. Earlier he had been shaking, now he was rushing with courage. He felt a sort of responsibility to care for everyone.

We just need to find a way to make some sort of attack on Imaginerium,” Sebastian declared but that was going to be the hard part.

“Lucas!”

A familiar yell from outside instantly caught Sebastian's attention. He ran to the kitchen window only to see Lucas and Emelia running from giant tentacle spurting out from the depths of the garden. He ran to the door, Ginger was already helping Lucas and Emelia reach the house but she was grabbed in the process. Seb ran into the house went to the fireplace and grabbed the iron pokers meant for the fire.

Let her go!” He ran after the tentacles that were dragging a fainted Ginger away from the house.

Sebastian reached a tentacle and tried to stab it with the iron rod but it just went right through. Then when Seth said early popped into his mind. What was of the Real World had no effect on the Imaginerium world. Seb let go of the useless weapon and latched onto the tentacle. Sushi time. Was what Seb though when he bit down on the tentacle. He started chewing away at the beast and he did it ferociously. He was able to inflict enough pain on the creature to get it to let go of Ginger.

He dragged Ginger away but had to jump back onto the seemingly octopus that was growing out of the yard. He became an animal. Ripping at the sea flesh with his nails, his teeth. There was no other way, at least not one he could come up with.

After Seth gave his interpretation of their situation that even he didn’t fully understand, Sebastian seemed to follow what was going on and reassured Seth that “…nothing is going to happen to Elizabeth or anyone else in here!” with a firm confident voice. Seth was glad that Seb was back to his more courageous and bold self, the part of him that made him shine as leader. He declared, “We just need to find a way to make some sort of attack on Imaginerium,” as though he was a general and Seth was his loyal soldier in the fight against Imaginerium.

Suddenly out in the battle field a cry for help comes from Emelia shouting “Lucas!” Sebastian ran to the kitchen window and from the looks of it something bad was happening out because after he ran out into the garden he came back and grabbed fire pokers shouting “Let her go!” When Seth went out to see what was going on he couldn’t believe his eyes. The large waving tentacles seemed to contrast the beautiful scenery of the garden with its bright colorful twisted trees, brilliant blue sky, and waving grass where the tentacles came out of. He had to admit that in spite of the danger, Imaginerium had such a Wonderland touch to it, but he had to focus on the tentacles dragging Ginger who was out cold. Sebastian tried to stab it with the iron rod but surprisingly it went through.

“Just as I thought,” Seth said in his mind. ”Imaginerium can’t be affected by weapons from the real world.”
Sebastian then threw away the fire pokers and hung on to the tentacles chewing them as though he was a starving beast that finally found its Thanksgiving turkey. Seb’s tactics seemed to be working, since the creature released Ginger from its grasp. After Sebastian took Ginger to the side, he went back to his animalistic tactic of ripping away the yard octopus’s skin out with all of his sharp points.

Seeing that his rather odd theory was confirmed, it was time for Seth to spring into action. At first, he joined Sebastian in clawing away the flesh of the tentacles, biting them if he had to, but at times, the tentacles would toss him off to shake him away because of the pain. After being persistent at this for awhile, he realized with all the skin coming off, the tentacles would be getting weaker and weaker and he wondered if the plan in mind would work. Seth thought he’d need everyone physically able right now to help but he wanted to ask Sebastian first before the plan would be implemented.

“Sebastian!” he shouted since a tentacle he had grabbed on to had started trying to fling him off again by rising up and down, giving him some nausea. He didn't realize instead of calling him "Seb" he said his full name, but it was probably due to his slight delerium from being swung up and down while tightly latching on and trying to call out his friend's name. He couldn't help but ask in fragments but he had to hold on and shut his mouth whenever the tentacle switched up or down. “Why don’t we... ask the others... to help... us... pull the tentacles off... in opposite directions? Then we can... attack whatever is the center... without... being... held back by its appendages! Hopefully at the middle that’s hidden... is its heart... and its weak point! URrraaaahh!!!"

Seth then took a huge bite into tentacle when it was at its lowest point and the tentacle flinched even lower for Seth to jump back down to meet up with Sebastian and the others.

Lucas yelped in surprised when Emelia tackled him and groaned in pain when his head thudded against the ground. Oh god it hurt, it felt like he would vomit any second and it made his vision blurry. Nausea hit him like a wall but he felt a bit grounded when Emelia held him. Why did he had to hit his head so damn hard before? He couldn't meet her gaze when her eyes was just black spots on her face, her hair melting together with her skin. It looked weird but his thoughts didn't go further when the pain pulsed again. He held onto Emelia tightly to not fall and felt that there was someone else who grabbed him. He felt too dizzy to see who it was, he just wanted to sit down for a bit and breathe and hopefully not puke.

As soon as he felt the porch under his feet, he sank down to sit and leaned his back against the wall. He held his head carefully and leaned his head between his raised legs, trying to get the nausea to lay down a bit. His face was pale under the fringe of his hair. He heard the others be attacked by something but he couldn't do anything, if he tried to stand up to quick he would end up emptying his stomach or even faint.

"I'm sorry.." He whispered. He didn't know if he'd be heard and wished things could clear for him so that he could help the others. He hadn't felt this helpless in a very long time, not since he had locked himself in his room and hadn't gone out for days in fear of his brother the day he had found out Lucas was gay.

Several things happened all at once. Emelia and Lucas had tumbled painfully to the ground. Ginger emerged from the house seconds later and rushed to their aid, only to be trapped by the beast herself. Seth and Sebastian shot out of the house soon after and they were all battling the huge creature. Gathering some sense, she began to drag Lucas away from the danger, keeping her eyes on the tentacles that were swaying viciously around her friends. Lucas' arm disappeared from her grip as he sunk down onto the porch. Emelia's eyes finally flickered to him. He looked sickly green and seemed to be swaying as he put his head between his knees. Sinking down beside him, she placed her hands on his leg and squeezed tightly.

"Don't be sorry," she whispered in a voice that was barely audible. Her tone was gentle and willowy, but a little hoarse from lack of use. Emelia hadn't spoken in a long time. But her silence was broken. The near incident had caused a terror to grip at her heart. She needed to open up to her friends and be there for them. There was little point holding her silence anymore. But none of them had heard her talk before. Hell, no-one had heard her talk since Daniel's death.

"It's my fault. I shouldn't have brought you out here. I'm so sorry." She grasped his hands in hers. Biting her bottom lip, she cast a glance towards the other three. "I have to help them. But stay here. Please." Bringing his chin up with her free hand, she stared him hard in the eyes. Emelia had always liked Lucas. He was one of the few people who had always understood her and she understood him. She accepted all of his quirks and his sexuality. It meant nothing to her. Lucas was simply just Lucas.

Bouncing up, she turned and strode purposefully toward the tentacles, snatching up a branch as she went. "Need a hand?" She asked, in almost a shy voice. A tentacle swept towards her, but she brought the sharp end of the stick down swiftly and sunk it into the fleshy skin. The tentacle recoiled, blood seemingly dripping down its length. "Is Ginger okay?"

Sebastian started loosing himself as he tore at the monster's flesh. He almost found himself enjoying it. At first it was an act of defense to protect his friends, but as his rage grew more intense he started to like tearing the octopus thing to bits. It was when Seth got kidnapped by a tentacle that he stopped for a second to realize what he was doing. He had blood all over his face and an awful taste on his tongue.

If Seth hadn't started yelling while he was being flung in every direction, Sebastian would have never woken from his temporary trance. He moved away from the tentacles and tried to avoid the fishy arms while he listened to Seth's idea. Seth was able to get away from his attacker and stood next to Sebastian.

Lucas is not in any shape to help us,” said Sebastian but Ginger was also out of the question, she was after all the one they were trying to save and Elizabeth was gone in the house, who knew how she was doing.

“Need a hand? Is Ginger okay?” Asked Emelia.

A hand would be great and I think Ginger is knocked out right now,” answered Sebastian.

He explained a quick plan to Seth and Emelia. While Sebastian and Emilia were going to pull the tentacles aside and keep them distracted. Seth was going to go straight to the center find if the creature even had a center and rip it apart.

Are you guys up for it?

When Seth got next to Sebastian, Sebastian explained that Lucas wasn’t well enough to fight. He looked over at Lucas who wasn’t looking very well with his back to the wall and his head between his legs. Ginger had also fainted and had been treated like a toy by the Octopus monster so she was out of the question. And Elizabeth—Seth didn’t want to think about her right now. He was very worried and wanted to go back in the house to check up on her, but he knew that he must help the others defeat the creature of the backyard.

Then Emelia had just come forward to the two and asked, “Need a hand? Is Ginger okay?”

“A hand would be great and I think Ginger is knocked out right now,” Sebastian replied.

Seth was relieved to see Emelia bounce back from her pain from earlier and to have another hand to help them right now.

”Thanks Emelia, we sure need it!”

Shortly afterwards, he discussed a short plan to both Seth and Emelia. Sebastian and Emelia were going to pull tentacles aside to keep them at bay and Seth was going to go for the center—at least if it had a center—and rip that apart.

“Are you guys up for it?” Sebastian asked.

Seth nodded in agreement with the plan and said, “Sure. I’ll try to find that heart of his and beat the crap out of it! It messed with Ginger and Lucas...it better be prepared for Sebastian, Emelia, and Seth! I’ll try to hide or dodge and avoid the tentacles. Just give me the signal and I’ll make a run for its center. I’m going to try to see if I can figure it out.”

Seth realized that Lucas and Ginger should get out of the way when this happens, but Lucas was in no condition to get up in a hurry and Ginger was still knocked out. Lucas was at least at the porch, but he had to get Ginger out from lying on the ground.

”Hang on a sec, I’ll grab Ginger out of there and leave her with Lucas. Since they’re not well, I’ll hang around the porch in case any tentacles try to harm them. It’s a good place to observe that Garden Octopus.

Seth then wondered whether the thing even had a name like the animals of the human world. But then he shrugged it off thinking that’s not important right now. He went over to the fainted Ginger, jumping over and deflecting tentacles that tried to grab him and made a run for the porch. He then placed Ginger on the floor of the porch and took a fighting stance in front of Lucas and Ginger to prepare to protect them whilst observing the creature.

”Lucas, don’t worry if it tries any funny business, I got you and Ginger. You don’t look too good though, are you okay?” Seth asked. He wondered what kind of hell Lucas had been through since his disappearance from the group. It must have been horrible because of his condition, which made Seth more determined to protect him.

Lucas looked up at Emelia when she placed her hands on his leg and blinked in surprise when she talked to him. He had never really heard her voice. Through the haze of the pain he smiled softly at her. It felt nice to finally hear her voice, even though it was filled with regret and sadness at the moment. He squeezed her hands a little.

"Do not worry Em. It's not your fault." He said gently. When she grabbed his chin to look in his eyes, he met hers steadily. Well as steadily as he could since he still felt pretty nauseas. He liked her somewhat bossiness even though she never said anything before. She always had this look in her eyes that meant that you should do what she want or you would regret it.

"I promise. And Emelia? You got a beautiful voice.." Lucas said as Emelia stood up to walk to the others. He watched her go and help the others. Next time he would be prepared and not stay back. Even though Emelia said it was okey, he still felt bad for not being able to give them a hand. Ginger was in danger and here he sat, sick and with a painful headache that made everything spin.
Lucas closed his eyes and breathed a couple of times. His head was still pounding and he startled when he suddenly heard someone move towards him. His eyes flew up and to his relief it was just Seth. Seth had placed Ginger on the porch not far from him. He heard Seth say something and didn't catch it all but the question.

"I.. I was in an accident yesterday." He said as en explanation for now. He could give them all the long story when they were safe again. It seemed like everyone else had been together through these days and he had been alone. He made a face at the thought and then relaxed again, leaning his head a bit down. "I wish I could help you guys but I do not dare to stand up at the moment." He said with a sigh.
