"You treat me like you would nails on a chalkboard. You just want it to go away."
Appearance
Annie is short, standing just over five feet [the outside world rounds down to 5'], and willowy. Though she does posses enough curve to be known as a woman with but a glance she is far straighter then the average girl. Annie is a little shorter in the torso but that loss in length lends itself to long(as long as 5' can get) thin legs that have been known to attract far enough boys. Beyond her model figure she has shoulder length red hair that is usually left down and straight and very pale powdery blue eyes.

When she leaves the house it's usually in old band tees and jeans. At home she prefers not to wear pants at all and usually walks around in one of those longer shirts that she always "hoped she'd grow into". Or just some of her brothers clothing that she'd stolen from him.

Personality
Her primary mode of living is focused internally, where she deals with things rationally and logically. Her secondary mode is external, where she take things in via her five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. She has a compelling drive to understand the way things work. Good at logical analysis, she likes to use it on practical concerns. Typically having strong powers of reasoning, although she's not interested in theories or concepts unless she can see a practical application. She likes to take things apart and see the way they work.

Annie is fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make her own decisions about her next step. She does not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit her ability to "do her own thing". Her sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes her prone to becoming bored rather quickly. Although she does not respect the rules of the "System", she follows her own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. She will not take part in something which violates her personal laws.

She likes and needs to spend time alone, because this is when she can sort things out in their minds most clearly. She absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sort through those facts, making judgments, when she is alone. Annie is an action-oriented person. She likes to be up and about, doing thing, which means she won't sit behind a desk all day and do long-range planning. Adaptable and spontaneous, she responds to what is immediately before her. She usually has strong technical skills, and can be as effective technical leaders.

She does not pay attention to her own feelings, and even distrust them and try to ignore them, because she has difficulty distinguishing between emotional reactions and value judgments. This may be a problem area for her.

When over-stressed, she may exhibit rash emotional outbursts of anger, or on the other extreme may be overwhelmed by emotions and feelings which she feels compelled to share with people (often inappropriately). When down on herself she will foray into the world of value judgments - a place which is not natural for the her - and judge herself by the inability to perform some task. Annie will then approach the task in a grim emotional state, expecting the worst.

+ Reading
I'm a bit of a book worm. Like, four hundred pages an hour.
+ Alone Time
People aren't really my thing...
+ Night
Also a night owl. Curl up on my window seat with a good book, I'll be there until the sun rises.
+ Intelligence
I don't show it, but I'm pretty smart for not really attending school much. And idiotic people confuse me.
+ Questions
Though I hate having to ask questions, I like being asked them. Call my crazy.
+ Fighting
Verbal fighting, usually. It's fun to have a good debate over something interesting.
+ Writing
I could spend the rest of my life reading and writing. Those are my top two favorite things.
+ Technology
It's a close third, really. I love anything to do with technology.
+ Music
It's like a safe haven.

- Ignorance
Some people are just...I feel my IQ dropping by the second.
- Stereotypes
Everyone is the same..get over it.
- Rudeness
Is it really needed?
- Arrogance
Someone has a big head.
- Excuses
People need to own up to their mistakes. I do.

Family
Both her mother and father were killed by, well what she calls the "bad" vampires. Annie now, technically, lives with an aunt. But usually stays wherever she can.
Dating
No one.

History
Annie felt quite neglected as a child, though to others she probably just seemed spoiled. Though, with three other cousins to live with, how could you not feel at least a tad bit alone sometimes. And even though she never was "alone", it didn't mean she was in the company of people she should be. Sure, there were maids and servants and "playmates" that her aunt "supplied" her with. But would it not have been better if they had just been there themselves? Annie never wanted the caretakers "love", she just wanted to feel and know that her aunt loved her, and she never did. Perhaps that is the emptiness she feels inside herself now. Does she even want her love anymore?

So begins...

Angel sits under her favorite Cherry Blossom Tree in St. Vladimirs Courtyard, sketching a girl ((Annie Vander)) she saw in one of her classes. The light was hitting the girl's face perfectly, and she took the oppurtunity to sketch her.

Annie was bored. Her stupid brother, Zai, was nowhere to be found, and she was lost. Maybe if she just looked for a way out of the school, then she could get a good look around. But then she would have to continue guessing where she was going, and that wasn't a great idea. The girl could get lost in her own building, though it was rather large. It still didn't make much sense, she had lived there since she was four, you would think she at least sort of knew where she was going. Nope. Still had to get one of the servants to help her, lead her, everywhere.

And it actually made her feel really pathetic. Just like her brother made her feel, running around trying to protect her and that other girl. What was her name? A-something. All he ever did was talk about her. "She did this-" and "Oh my god, Angel did this-". Oh, Angel, that was her name. Weird, but she couldn't really judge. Her name was Annie, probably not the most common thing ever. Though it seemed her parents had had a interest in unique names, like Zaisuke. Though Zai did love his name, always bragged about being the last in the alphabet.

A door! She stepped up a pace, moving quickly towards the door, as if she didn't get there in time the door would disappear. Pushing it open, the moon/sunlight hit her eyes and she winced. Blue eyes, sudden bright light, it hurt. Moving forward, her black mailbag hit against her leg with every step, and she was about to throw it when she came upon someone else. Raising an eyebrow, she quickly pulled down her loose grey v-neck. It was a habit, even though the shirt was probably long enough to come down to mid-thigh, she still always did it. Her dark skinny jeans came down far enough to even be tucked into her checkered DC's. "Um, hello." Looking down at the girl, she narrowed her eyes slightly, trying to figure out who she was. "Aren't you in one of my classes?.."

"Oh, hi, you're Annie right? Yeah, we have Moroi Culture together." Angel replied, trying and failing to hide her sketchbook. She didn't want Annie to think she was stalking her or something. She tucked her curly red hair behind one ear and stared up at the newcomer. Angel's only friends were dhampirs and maybe a few Moroi, but most of them hung away from her because she was so shy. She didn't mean to be, it was just that she was afraid that if she got too close to them, something terrible would happen.

Ever since that one time--no. Now wasn't the time to drudge up old memories. Angel laid her pencils down and shielded her eyes against the moon's comforting glow so she could better see Annie's face.
