Setting
This is the initial post for your starting interaction for The Watcher.
All posts after will be in third person.
A house on a hill stands looming over the dark city; watching it, guarding it, ruling over it. The home is large, dark and old. Victorian styled, with shutters that creak when the wind blows just right, mismatches with a door that has hinges that make no sound. On the front door is a sign, "enter all for a price" and the statement rings true for who lies beyond the door.
As you reach up to knock on the door, it is swiftly opened by a woman who has a much too cheery disposition to be working in such a place. Her warm brown eyes are bright and wide, and her toothy grin makes you feel at peace for the moment. As the door is pulled open, you step forward, coming to a wide spacious hallway warmly lit by sconces on the wall. There are two open door frames -wide enough to fit two people each - that are to the right and the left.
To the left is a dining room, an antique dining set sits in the cream colored room, trimmed with brown borders. The table itself is a cherry wood, long and seated around it are three chairs on the long side, and one chair at each end. A bowl of random colored balls, in assorted sizes, gives the room a pop of color and some mild decoration.
Spread out to the right of the hallway is an open floor planned large living room that is lit by firelight, dancing along the walls from a fireplace. Red paint covers the walls, the color of blood that has sat out for too long. Modern furniture, classy, white in color sits inviting you to take a seat. Spread out behind the furnishings sits a grand piano, a cliche silver candelabra sitting on top with unlit white candles in their places.
Beyond the scene lies a kitchen, why it is not attached to living room - The Watcher if asked, would simply explain that it is because the kitchen and living room are the two places that you will find your family, bringing a warmer atmosphere - but in reality, its just so they could grab a snack easier.
As you are guided into the living room, on the couch sits The Watcher.
What does The Watcher look like? The Water looks like anything you want them to look like. They take the form of the most pleasing form to you, the form that will convince you to take their deal the easiest. Whether it's your mother, father, nan, a girl that you had a crush on, or your biggest fantasy - The Watcher becomes what you want them to become.
As they stretch their arms over the back of the chair, they look at you, eyebrow raised and their lips twitch into a smile, "So I hear you want to make a wish?"
