Personality

Full name: Ivy Sullivan

Age: 17
Status: Student
Who do you want to guard you(Student): Will be added

Personality: Ivy’s personality is hard to pin down; it is very mysterious and elusive. Her downfall is her sensitivity and her inability to reject another person. She doesn't like rejection and she tries to treat others the way she wants to be treated so she will rarely say no to a person for fear of hurting their feelings. She is very prone of living in denial. She will say she feels okay or everything is alright even when it's not. This is an easy way out, the one thing that Ivy does not like to analyze are her feelings so pretending everything is okay is a good defense mechanism. She is extremely sensitive and loyal. Ivy will go out of her way to help a friend. She will take a friend's problem and make it her own and suffer with them.

Likes: Cats, music, stargazing, reading poems, rain.
Dislikes: Rude people, math, pain, needles, being in the center of attention.
Family: Older brother, Mathew Sullivan.
Dating Anyone(ask other player first): Not yet

Equipment

A book of Poems (usually by Edgar Allan Poe), backpack, phone and earphones, a necklace with a picture of her parents.

History

Family trips, ballet and piano classes were a part of Ivy's early childhood. Her only worries were if she could learn the the choreography on time to the performance or if she could master one of the pieces her piano teacher assigned for her to learn. That was until she was 10. After her parents sudden death in an airplane crash she was left with her only family, her brother Mathew, who himself has just only graduated from college. With not being able to pay for all the living expenses they had to sell their family home and move to a smaller apartment. That meant no more ballet and piano lessons. Even thought her brother kept telling her that she cold continue taking them she decided that it was time for her to focus on her studies. In the summer she would take up small jobs and the earned money she saved up. After her brother got transferred because of his job she decided that instead of moving with him she would stay here, therefore she enrolled to Magix Academy.

So begins...

The annoying beeping of the alarm clock woke Ivy up from her pleasant dreams. She reached to her left to turn it off and managed to knock down not only the clock but the book she was reading before falling asleep, too. She groaned in annoyance as they hit the floor with a loud thud. Since Ivy wasn't a morning person it took her another ten minutes to finally manage to get out of her warm and comfy bed. It was a good thing that she rented an apartment very close to the school, so she could as well sleep in if she wanted.

She dragged herself to the kitchen and turned on the coffee maker then went to take a shower. With her hair wrapped in a towel and dressed in a pair of jeans and a simple back tee she walked back to the kitchen and poured herself a cup of coffee. She inhaled the rich scent of the coffee and sighed. There was nothing that could wake her up better then a hot shower and the first cup of coffee in the morning. She took a big sip then placed the cup on the coffee table in the living room and went to take her laptop. She placed it on the table and as she waited for it to turn on she gulped down the rest of the coffee. Just as she logged in an email arrived from her brother, Mathew.

''How is my baby sister doing this morning? Have you slept well? I hope everything is going fine in the school and that you are watching your health. Today I ...'' Ivy smiled as she read on his email. She really missed him. Way more than she is gonna ever admit.

She wrote him a quick reply and went to get ready for school. After drying and untangling the mess of her hair, she put her phone in her pocket, grabbed the book from the floor and her backpack and went out, locking the door behind her. She read as she walked and after a few minutes arrived to the school. Since her head was buried in the book she tripped, but managed to steady herself while the book she was reading went flying to the ground. She stood there for a few seconds dumbfounded trying to figure out what have just happened. Composing herself she picked up her book and hoped that nobody was there to see this little tripping incident. But to her luck there were a few people there looking at her. ''Great.'' she mumbled to herself and hurried her steps towards the cafeteria, this time with her book clenched in her hands. Looking around she soon noticed the two angels, Lissa Hanover and Ezra Mc'Miller, and headed to their table. ((I hope it's okay )) She flopped down to a seat next to them. ''Don't ever read while you are walking. It won't end well.''

Joshua watched Lissa leave and the brief moment of eye contact was enough to make him look downwards. Joshusa was once again thinking to himself. Idiot. She's not important. I don't need an angel... As much as he thought it, he knew the words were untrue. For lunch, Joshua decided to he would go to the cafeteria for a sandwich then head back to the courtyard.
While walking, he couldn't help but smirk as some girl tripped and her book went soaring. "It's dangerous being a bookworm nowadays." He said mostly to himself.

At the cafeteria, he grabbed one of the wrapped sandwiches that were in a pile and looked around the area. He knew from experience he couldn't sit with the jocks because they called him "emo boy", he couldn't sit with the cheerleaders because they either flirted with him or called him "goth boy". Hell, he couldn't even sit with the goths because they called him a "Wannabe". And he would never sit at a table with angels for the annoyance that their judgmental eyes would stare at him. The last were the "hipster" and "nerd" tables, which of course he would never consider. There was also the normal group of friends that gathered to certain tables, and to avoid awkwardness he wouldn't join them either.
He did see Lissa but he acted like he didn't notice her.

"To the courtyard I'll go" He mumbled, but then his eyes shot wide open. His backpack, he left it near the pillar..unattended..Shit, I can't believe I forgot it.
He sprinted out of the cafeteria, more worried then ever before. He found where he was sitting, and low and behold, his backpack was still there unharmed.
But as he was walking toward it, he noticed someone right near his backpack looking curiously at it.

((Maybe Jamie or Ciara?))

"Don't ever read while you're walking. It won't end well." Lissa said concernedly, placing her arm on Ivys shoulder. Ivy was another member of their group and Lissa loved them both dearly. She would do anything for them, no matter how insane the task.

Lissa looked up from Ivys face and her eyes again found the boy from the courtyard. God, he was everywhere! And she couldn't get him out of her head. He was a human, she could tell that much. Although trainee's and students looked similar until the trainee's received their wings at graduation, Angels had a few distinct features apart from humans. They were certainly taller and slimmer, with a sort of glow to their features, adding an ethereal essence.

All of a sudden, the boy looked towards the door urgently, before sprinting off. She wondered what was the matter, but turned back to the table as one of her friends spoke.

Ezra woke up when she heard the music downstairs. She smiled and got up to do her morning bathroom routine. Shower, brush teeth, brush hair, and leave bathroom. SHe wrapped her towel around her and went to her too organized closet. She rummaged through it for a while until she settled on a simple gray and white outfit. She was way too lazy to add color to it. She walk downstairs with grace. Any normal human would have fell head over heals for her, it’s just the beauty that comes with being a angel. “Good morning mother.” She said towards the twirling woman. “Morning sweet heart.” She chirped back. Ezra grabbed the pancake and walked towards the door. “Bye Muffin!” Ezra heard before she yelled back “Bye mother!” Ezra closed the door behind her and headed to the school.

The school was in walking distance and it was nice to walk in the morning. Everybody was waking up and getting ready for a brand new day. She waked up to the school and smiled. “Another day, another lesson.” She said repeating her mother’s quote. It was on the second day of school her mother told her before she left to school. Ezra walked up to school doors and opened them. She got some stares some in awe at her beauty and some at jealously. She walked to her locker, opened it and grabbed her ipod with her music and her earbuds. She shut the locker, messed with the combination lock, and headed for the cafeteria.

Ezra walked over to her usual table. Knowing her friend Lissa was probably at the courtyard drawing. Lissa’s art was beautiful and sometimes when the were both in the courtyard,Ezra would dance so Lissa could draw. That’s was how they met. Ezra opened up her ipod and put one bud in and played a ballet song making moves in her head as it played. She looked up at Lissa who just sat down. Ezra smiled and waved. “Hey Lissa.” She said exactly when Ivy came in and walked over to where they were sitting. “Hey Ivy.” She said and smiled at the both of them. “So Lissa did you sketch something beautiful today?” She asked but Lissa looked over to a boy. He looked mysterious but you could tell Lissa was fond of him. When Lissa turned back around Ezra raised her eyebrow. “New guy of yours?” She asked smirking a little.

"New guy of yours?" Lissa heard Ezra say as she tuned back in. It took her a moment to realize that Ezra had seen her looking at the student boy. Her brows furrowed as she pursed her lips. If she told them about the courtyard they would definitely ask for more info and there might be teasing involved. For a brief moment Lissa considered not telling them, but they had never kept secrets from each other. Lissa merely shrugged.

"Not really. I just saw him in the courtyard earlier. Do you guys know him?" She asked, hoping they did. He intrigued her, and she wanted to know him. She knew that she would be much too shy to actually be able to talk to him though. Dammit, Lissa! You're an Angel, grow some courage! Lissa thought to herself and looked to her friends for their reply.

"Oh, Ivy.." Lissa muttered as she watched her friend trip again as she crashed into a guy. Lissa recalled him from one of her classes, Jamie Douglas, that's who he was. She'd never talked to him before. In fact, she didn't recall anyone talking to him before. But, then again, she always sketched faces in her classes so she probably wouldn't have noticed if anyone did.

Suddenly, Lissa's phone beeped and she reached down to check that she had a message from her mother.

"Hi, honey, how's school going? We haven't seen you in a long time." Lissa sighed. Since her family lived in Michigan, she had had to move into one of the on-campus apartments so she could attend here. She couldn't even remember the last time she had visited them. It wasn't that she didn't love her family, she did. She just felt like she could never be good enough in their eyes, because of how timid she was she had never been good at the other things Angels did to protect humans, like offensive magic. Ezra was lucky, she had water magic, so if she ever got in a fight, she could defend her and her human with it. Spirit wasn't good for anything except the aftermath. How was she ever going to be a Guardian Angel if she couldn't protect anybody?

"It's good. Learning a bunch." Lissa txted back a quick reply and turned back to her friends, burying everything down into her deep hole inside her heart.

Joshua got up and dusted himself. And I thought I was the moody one. Joshua looked at the sandwich which was now on the ground smothered. What a waste... Thinking back at the guy said, one sentence did hit him hard. "You're not the only one." Okay he obviously had a rough day, maybe I should have gone a little easier on him. Just a little bit. For a moment Joshua just stood holding on to his backpack. Still, it's not really my problem.
Joshua had a decision to make, and it went against what he would usually do.

Joshua followed behind Jamie and tapped his shoulder. Joshua's voice was more lowered now. "Dude, take it easy. I apologize, but the way I act sometimes comes instinctively. I don't mean to get all warm and fuzzy on you all of a sudden, but I don't need yet another person to hate me in this school." Yes, the words felt awkward coming from him, but Joshua was honest.

Joshua turned away and slightly rolled his eyes. "You can think I'm a freak or whatever like everyone else, but just it's just kind of who I am." Hell, why am I even saying this much? I should stop while I'm ahead.
Now that he said his piece, Joshua turned to walk away but not before he heard a crash and turned to see some girl bumped into the other guy.

Jamie's temper was cooling slowly as he strolled into the cafeteria. I just need some food. My stomach has been talking to me for the past hour. Glancing at the food line, he decided to settle for something from the vending machines. As he reached into his back pocket for his wallet, he felt a tap on the shoulder.

It was the voice of the goth kid. He was apologizing. Ok, so maybe I was harsh too. But today really has been a bad day. He turned to catch the kid before he had gone too far, but then a girl suddenly walked directly into his path.

"Oh shi--!" Too late to avoid it, he stumbled into her. Whatever items she had been holding went flying across the cafeteria floor. The girl apologized and began picking up her items. Maybe I should skip class today. This day is only bound to get worse. He knelt to grab a few scattered pieces of ham. Standing to toss them into the trash disposal, he suddenly stopped; a flash of recognition crossed his eyes.

"It's ok, don't worry about it. You're Ivy, right?" He offered a coaxing smile for her to speak, almost forgetting about the guy behind him.

"It's ok, don't worry about it. You're Ivy, right?" he said with a coaxing smile.
Ivy looked up at him. "That's right. And you are..." she tilted her head, "Jamie, if I recall correctly." Ivy said, smiling at him. "I hope I'm not wrong, cause that would be embarrassing" she mumbled more to herself. "So, how are you?" she asked putting the money she managed to pick up, into her pocket. She was a bit sad about dropping her lunch, but there was nothing she could do, after all there is no reason to cry over spilled milk or in her case dropped sandwich.

"That's correct!" He faltered for a moment, unsure of what to say or do next. Come on Jamie, do SOMETHING! Stalling for time, he turned and threw the ham into the garbage. That's when he remembered the goth kid.

"Nice to meet you, Ivy. I gotta...go." Jamie laughed apprehensively. "See ya!" Turning to follow the goth kid, he was surprised to see the hallway was empty. Where did you go? Unsure of which way to even pursue the guy, Jamie shrugged and turned back to the vending machines. He grabbed the cold chocolate milk bottle out of the dispenser and walked toward the courtyard.

I think I will play hookie today. It's been awhile, and at the rate I was going... His thoughts trailed off.

Ezra watched Lissa with suspicion. She felt like she wasn’t telling her everything. She shrugged at her question. “Only seem him around don’t think i have a class with him.” She said and looked at Ivy when her question popped up. “Some mysterious guy Lissa might or might not have a crush on.” She said teasingly. When Ivy got up to get some food, everything slowed down as she watched Ivy stumble and drop a her lunch with a little spare change. She sighed. “I’m gonna have to teach this girl about walking gracefully.” She mumbled before turning back to Lissa who was looking at Ivy’s situation as well. "Ezra, can you come out onto the courtyard with me sometime today? I like drawing you dancing on nice days like this." Lissa asked her and she smiled and nodded. “I would love to give you something to draw Lissa.”She said over dramatically. But Lissa already knew it was a yes just by looking at her expression.

Lissa and Ezra walked outside to the courtyard ((I know I'm sorry for typing for you and for successive posting. I broke my own rule, SO SORRY)) and to Lissa's cherry tree. But, when they got there, there was someone else standing under the tree. It was the Jamie guy, the one that Ivy had bumped into earlier! Lissa stopped and looked at him with wide eyes. He had always been so closed off from the rest of the school that she had never noticed him before. And now here he was, standing under Lissa's tree. Why was he here? What was he thinking about?

His head was positioned downward and his face was set in thought, as if he was trying to decide his own path. He seemed to wrestle with his thoughts, and Lissa sympathized. She often dealt with the same thing within her own mind, and the cherry tree had always been a place for her to sketch and clear out her head. I guess it just calls to everyone that way, Lissa thought.

She approached the tree gently, deciding that she would ask him if he was okay. She could tell earlier that Ivy had her mindset on him, even if she didn't know it yet. Lissa was merely trying to be helpful and friendly, as was in her nature. She didn't want to take away her friends guy. Besides, that boy from earlier was still fresh in Lissa's mind.

"Hey, are you alright?" Lissa asked tentatively, reaching her arm out as if to touch his shoulder.

After Jamie left with a See ya, Ivy went to buy another sandwich, but since all the ham sandwiches were sold she had to settle for the veggie one. Walking back to the table, this time without bumping into anyone, she saw that Ezra and Lissa were about to head outside. Most probably so Lissa could sketch Ezra dancing. Ivy liked Lissa's drawings very much. She never could get enough of how amazingly good she was. Sometimes Ivy wished that she could draw like her. At the time when they first met she asked Lissa to give her a few drawing lessons but she never actually got past the stick drawings so she eventually gave up, not wanting to waste Lissa's time. And there is Ezra. She was something else when she danced. She danced so gracefully that she managed to leave everyone who watched her, in awe. Sometimes when Ivy watched her dance she would feel like the time has stopped, that's how great she was.

"See you girls later." Picking up her bag she waved to the two angel and headed toward the lockers. When she got to her locker she put her bag in and took out her chemistry text book and notes, then closed the locker. Checking the time she saw that she had still a few minutes before classes started. Deciding that it would be better if she would be there earlier, she headed in the direction of the chemistry lab. She was the first one who arrived because the rest of the class was probably still in the cafeteria. Ivy leaned on the wall and took a bite of her veggie sandwich. Today the teacher would assign the new lab partners and Ivy wondered who will she be partnered up with. Her last lab partner was a girl called Susan. She was a nice person and also liked reading just like Ivy. She transferred a few months ago and they exchanged numbers. They kept writing to each other and calling but it's been a few weeks since Ivy heard from her.
She finished eating and went to trow away the wrapper in the trash. Just when she got back the bell started ringing.

Ezra got up with Lissa but it also required taking off her ear buds, and putting her ipod away. She waved to Ivy who was now heading towards her locker. Soon she was tagging along with her walking to the courtyard. She knew Lissa had enough time to make a sketch, that is if she didn't get distracted by her flawless moves. She couldn't blame her. If Ezra was a normal human she would be at a Broadway show. She looked into the distance at the beautifully blossoming tree, the one Lissa usually sat at. "Humph." She grunted. He didn't look like he was just their to relax, not one bit.

Lissa started to walk forward without giving a warning to Ezra. Ezra shrugged and followed behind. Might as well follow then be alone.....Okay maybe that wasn't the way it went but you get the idea. She was just a step behind her when she was now in front of him. She narrowed her eyes a little bit at him. A lot of people don't come out here, so why now. She thought as she slumped her backpack of her shoulder and put it on the ground. She put her hands on her sides and her heard friend ask, "Hey, are you alright?"

Joshua dug through his locker for his chemistry book. The inside of Joshua's locker wasn't the neatest, the books weren't organized and there were a few snack bar wrapper's here and there. An Avenged Sevenfold poster hung on the inside of his locker door. Shoveling through his things, he finally found his Chemistry book. He gently placed his backpack in his locker and closed it up. Next mission, getting through this zoo. The hallways were cramped with kids trying to get to their next class. Joshua hurried along. A few kids pushed him here and there, saying "Watch it, emo!" Joshua's fist flexed a little at this comment. No, you will not kick anyone's ass today... Joshua told himself as his anger boiled down. He tried to hurry but it was hard getting through a crowd as thick as concrete. Once again, Joshua was the last to arrive to his class.

The Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Mayworth, noted this down. "The last to arrive to class again, I see. We were about to begin. Take your seat." The teacher continued writing something down. Joshua stumbled looking for a seat and when finding one sat down with his arms crossed. The class whispered a bit while Joshua huffed.
"Silence everyone. Today I will be assigning lab partners." Mrs. Mayworth coughed a few times and brought out a stack of cards. Fixing her glasses, she began reading out names. Joshua could feel the whole class looking at him, wondering who was going to be the unfortunate soul to be his lab partner. He just kept his head down, waiting for his name to be called.
"Ryan Samson you will be paired with Emily Young....Hugo Weller you will be paired with Jase Irk..."
She's saving my name for last, isn't she?
It was a while, but finally Joshua's name was called.
"And Joshua Cobat...you will be paired with Ivy Sullivan." Mrs. Mayworth pointed to where Ivy was sitting. "Hopefully she can teach you a few things about being prudent."
A few chuckles erupted throughout the class. The teacher clapped her hands to silence them. "Everyone, find your partner. Hurry up, we do not have all day."

Joshua mumbled something under his breath before sitting down right near Ivy. Looking at Ivy for a little be, he thought Hmmmm...I seen her around...I think she is friends with Lissa... "Well, I wish I can say people call me Josh, but most of the time I'm referred to as 'Oh look HE is here.' But Josh or Joshua will work fine." Joshua said with a smirk and not really making eye contact.

"Don't need your help." Jamie said roughly, leaping away from Lissa's hand. Lissa stared at him dumbfounded. She hadn't meant to startle him. She just wanted to help him. She watched him turn and walk away quickly from them, wishing he hadn't reacted the way he did. But, then again, she could understand if he didn't want anyone's help. Maybe Ivy could help him, if she managed to talk to him more.

"I wonder what's the matter?" Lissa asked rhetorically to Ezra. Ezra hadn't moved from her spot a few paces behind Lissa, and when Lissa looked back at her, she stood there watching with curiosity. "Oh well," Lissa said, shrugging, "If he doesn't want help, then I don't blame him. Are you ready to get started?" She asked her best friend, getting out her supplies and taking a seat under the tree. In the back of her mind she reminded herself to ask Ivy about Jamie. He looked like he could use a friend, and it would help further their relationship anyway. Lissa sighed and leaned back, waiting to watch her friend's beautiful movement across the courtyard begin.

Mass of students suddenly emerged and Ivy hurriedly walked into the classroom not wanting to get smashed by others, and took her usual place next to the window. She put her books on the table and started doodling on the back of her notebook. Soon the Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Mayworth arrived and started taking attendance. Just then a guy walked in and Mrs. Mayworth looked up from her desk and frowned. "The last to arrive to class again, I see. We were about to begin. Take your seat." After writing something down she announced that she would be assigning the lab partners. Ivy didn't pay much attention to the people the teacher was calling, she just kept doodling, slowly filling up the whole page.

"And Joshua Cobat...you will be paired with Ivy Sullivan." Ivy looked up hearing her name and looked at Mrs. Mayworth who was pointing out to the black haired guy, Joshua where she was sitting. "Hopefully she can teach you a few things about being prudent. Everyone, find your partner. Hurry up, we do not have all day." the teacher said and everyone started getting up and changing places. Ivy stayed by her window seat not wanting to give it up. While her new lab partner, Joshua walked to her and took a seat next to her, she found him very familiar.

"Well, I wish I can say people call me Josh, but most of the time I'm referred to as 'Oh look HE is here.' But Josh or Joshua will work fine." Joshua said with a smirk. Ivy looked at him in silence for a few seconds and realized why he seemed so familiar. He was then guy that Lissa was looking at. So she was right. Thy really did have classes together. She couldn't wait to tell Lissa about it. "I'm Ivy, as you probably figured, and people call me, well, Ivy." She gave him a sheepish smile and closed her notebook. "I've got to tell you that I am not the very good at all this Chemistry stuff we are gonna be supposed to do," She gestured towards the front of the class where the teacher was getting ready the tubes and chemicals for today's class. "And I tend to be clumsy sometimes. But I'll try to make this classes as trouble less as I can, for the both of us."

"Don't worry about it, Chemistry is not too hard. Once you get over their confusing symbols and what mixes to what, it's a walk in the park." Joshua gave a small smile himself. "And lucky for us, I actually cared to study my chemistry this week."
Mrs. Mayworth raised her hand to get all of the students attention. "Now that you found your lab partners, I don't want any funny business going on. This is a lab, not a coffee social." She seemed to look directly at Joshua before continuing. "Today, we will make and observe the properties of unsaturated, saturated, and supersaturated solutions, using photography fixer. Now this may sound confusing but as long as you follow the steps and pay close attention, you should be fine. Take out the beacons from under the lab counter in which you are seated nearby."
Joshua nodded his head and pulled out the beacons. They were kind of strange looking, the bottom of it being a quite unusual shape. Grabbing two, he set one in front of Ivy and the other for himself.
"You will also see some chemical packets under the counter as well, take these and pour them slowly into the beacon. And do NOT spill any on the counter, I can't emphasize this enough. The chemical compounds will eat away the color on the counter, so please be very careful." Mrs. Mayworth announced.
"The tricky part is opening the packet without spilling anything." Joshua whispered to Ivy. "From experience, do not try to open with your teeth." Joshua rolled his eyes remembering that one time...
Anyways, Joshua decided to carefully open Ivy's first. He ripped open a tiny slit, and slowly poured the strange sand-like chemical into Ivy's beacon. It took forever for the packet to empty, and it stole some of Joshua's concentration. His gray-blue eyes squinted as the last sand pellet fell.
Now to do the process all over again. Joshua once again rolled his eyes. After doing the whole process all over again with his beacon, he waited for the teacher's next command.

Two kids directly behind Joshua and Ivy were goofing off, whispering something. Then one of them said "Hey, Emo Boy, eat this." The kid launched a napkin "bomb" with the sandy chemical inside. Half expecting this, Joshua dodged his head while mumbling "Predictable." And the bomb flew over his head and landed on the teacher's floral skirt. The teacher was only able to catch a glimpse on which direction the bomb came from, and her eyes narrowed at Joshua. "Mr. Cobat!" She screeched.

"Today, we will make and observe the properties of unsaturated, saturated, and supersaturated solutions, using photography fixer. Now this may sound confusing but as long as you follow the steps and pay close attention, you should be fine. Take out the beacons from under the lab counter in which you are seated nearby." Mrs. Mayworth announced to the class but Ivy didn't feel as worried as before. Joshua assured her that he knows what they are gonna be supposed to do so she sighed with a relief. Joshua did as the teacher said and pulled out the beacons and placed them in front of them. Ivy looked at their strange shapes of the beacon while Mrs. Mayworth said where the rest of the things they will need was. Ivy caught something about not spilling and eating away the color of the counter and she frowned. With her luck, she will spill everything and it will not just eat the color but the whole counter, too.
"The tricky part is opening the packet without spilling anything." Joshua whispered to Ivy. "From experience, do not try to open with your teeth." Joshua rolled his eyes and Ivy wondered what have had happened.
He took the packet and opened it without spilling anything and poured it in the beacon in front of her. She looked at him with a thankful smile. He then proceeded to pour the content of the other packet in the beacon in front of himself, and when he was done they both waited for the teacher’s next instructions.
Ivy heard the two guys behind them whisper something and at the next moment a napkin with the sandy chemical they were working with, flew toward Joshua, who expecting that dogged it and it landed straight on Mrs. Mayworth’s skirt. Ivy and everybody in the classroom gasped as the teacher turned towards them.
Her eyes narrowed in anger at Joshua "Mr. Cobat!" She screamed, "You will be staying in detention after school." Ivy turned to glare at the two guys behind but they just snickered.
"Mrs. Mayworth, it wasn't Joshua. it was the two of them." Ivy said, turning and pointing at the two responsible. "Is that true Mr. Douglas, Mr. Parker?" Mrs. Mayworth asked looking at them through her glasses. "It's not true, Mrs. Mayworth. It was Him." One them, most probably the Parker guy, said nodding toward Joshua.
"That's not true. They are lying." Ivy protested.
"That's enough. Ms. Sullivan you will also stay after school to keep Mr. Cobat company." The teacher said glaring at both of them, while the rest of the class kept whispering.

Joshua's eyes narrowed as he glared at the two now smudge-looking teens. They are so going to pay for this. He looked back at Ivy with apologetic eyes. Detention was awaiting them after this class, and it was partially his fault. Joshua was used to getting detention, but not when someone else got away with it while he pulled an innocent person with him. Guilt trickled his mind, as well as the blooming anger he tried to contain. He twirled a pencil in his hands while occasionally hearing the snicker of the two teens behind him. This shit always has to happen to me.

Chemistry felt like the longest class just from the awkward atmosphere, but when it was over he felt slightly relieved he wouldn't be in the same room with the two idiots. But just when everyone was leaving the classroom, one of the two idiots named Sam Parker came up two him and touched his shoulder. "Enjoy Detention, Wimp." He whispered while seemingly holding in a laugh.
"Well, I guess I better go to detention for something I DID do." Joshua smirked.
"Oh yeah? And what's that?"
"This." Joshua landed a clean punch directly on Sam's face. This caused his friend, Jeff Douglas, to come over and attack. Joshua tried to land some punches on Jeff, but Sam came came up from behind Joshua and held him while Jeff started punching. Joshua struggled to get out of Sam's grip and tried kicking at Jeff with his free legs, but Jeff was able to land some good solid punches at Joshua's sides.

It wasn't long before three gym teachers came rushing into the room, blowing whistles and yelling to stop. The gym teacher had to pin the teens down in order to stop the madness.

It wasn't long until Joshua was in detention, with a bruised eye and a busted lip. He held an ice pack on his head, and occasionally looked at Ivy who was seated right next to him. "Well, isn't this a good way to get to know someone?" He joked coldly.
