General wears anything he deems comfortable, jackets, jeans, and t-shirts. If he could go out in public in only pajamas he probably would - but hes not quite that lazy. He enjoys being comfortable above all else, so his wardrobe is unsurprisingly filled with cheap, slightly loose clothing. He usually wears a grey beanie, but sometimes he doesn't and lets his wild curly brown hair fly free. His skin is fair, but marked by old acne scars (and sometimes outbreaks of acne when he gets too stressed.) His eyes are deep grey, and often the dark circles around them make him look tired. Despite not doing much in general he likes to stay in shape, so while he isn't overtly muscular he has lean, wiry muscles hidden just beneath the surface.
| O D D I T I E S |
Tongue Piercing, his one and only encounter with a needle that close to his face.
A scar on his cheek just below his left eye, from a knife.
A few scars on his arms/legs, mostly left overs from fights.

✦ Abrasive ✧ Rebellious ✦ Caring ✧ Attentive ✦

Cas is hard to really decipher, most of his emotions come in forms that aren't really easy to read. While he could be extremely angry, he would pretend to be happy. While he could also be Quiet, when secretly he is happy. He seems to have a sort of nonsensical way of expressing himself, and can at some times seem utterly strange. He really isn't too bad though, just a little bit of an oddball. As someone who gathers friends easy some of his best traits come with his weirdness, he is cheerful to a point, attentive when he needs to be, and is known to create an adventure wherever he goes. As long as hes in a good mood, and isn't thinking of being a rebellious little shit he can be one of the best guys you know.

Theres always a second side to a coin though, where he is a good friend he is most certainly not the best at family. His rebellious stage hasn't ended yet, which is a cause of a headache for his family - namely his father who just wants the best for him. And while he has mostly stopped doing so he used to do a lot of things to get into trouble, just to maybe get attention from his Demigod parent, who had yet to speak a single sentence to him. He is, perhaps secretly, hurt that he was not born into a loving family. In fact, when he sees happy families he gets jealous and it can trigger his bad moods.

While he cares deeply, and finds himself being someone who wants to do good by others he is also callous at times, and can be very, very abrasive. He can be a pretty big goofball too, so not everything with him is very serious.

| P O W E R S |
✧Animal Communication - An innate ability that manifested well before he even knew who he was, he spent some time ignoring this ability, thinking himself crazy up until he got fed up with it and said something to his father. From then on he realized that yeah, he could talk to animals, and he was pretty good at it.

✧Enhanced Senses - His hearing got better, unfortunately most of the rest of his senses haven't exactly developed to the extremes that most other children of Artemis have. He thinks it may have something to do with his lack of control over shape shifting, or maybe this power didn't transfer over to him well. Nobody is perfect.

✧Shape Shifting - He can become animals, with lots of control and concentration, sometimes he comes out looking a little funky - and more often than not he can only shape shift into animals that are roughly the same size as his human body. Smaller or larger animals take a lot more concentration, and its honestly exhausting.

| S T R E N G T H S |
✦ Awareness - He pays attention to himself, his surroundings, and those around him at all times.
✧ Tact - He knows the right things to say; just sometimes he doesn't say them at the right time. However he knows how best to speak with people, and has an easy time resolving conflict.
✦ Jokester - While its not a traditional strength, it helps him socially so he considers it one.
✧ Archery - At first he took this to try and get some attention, but got really good at it, its something he enjoys.
✦ Caring - This could double as a weakness, but mainly his caring attitude towards people has always been one of his strong points.

| W E A K N E S S E S |
✦ Possessive - In other words, whats his is his, and his alone.
✧ Rebellious/Troublemaker - He gets into trouble often, and takes rules as friendly suggestions.
✦ Lazy; Mentally - He exerts very little effort in class/learning, he finds it boring.
✧ Abrasive - A staple of his personality, his abrasive tendencies often times make him a social pariah.
✦ Jealous - He can get really jealous, which comes hand in hand with his possessiveness.

| B I R T H P L A C E |
Clifton, New Jersey (America)
| H I S T O R Y |

Cas had a rather abnormal childhood, raised by a single father in a bad neighborhood. Said father being sort of a crazy as well. He endured a lot of weird traditions and family gathering, all of which were annoying and just proved how very different he was from them. Another thing in his childhood that proved his life was abnormal; he could communicate with animals. Which was, at first, pretty cool until he realized that nobody else could do this. He thought he was going insane, and wanted nothing more than to put everything about it to rest. He never said a word to his father about it, just tried to ignore it the best he could.

While he was a teenager they lived for a short while in crime-ridden Camden, where Cas was first hand witness to quite a few depraved acts. He fought with plenty of the other teens in the neighborhood, a lot of them bullying him for being different. He wasn't a part of their neighborhood as far as they were concerned, and they used everything about him against him. To this day he hates hearing his own name, just because it was used against him so much as a kid. While he didn't start fighting back until later, once he did it usually ended in a bloody mess for everyone involved.

Fighting got him stuck in juvenile hall more than once, nobody really cared that it was in self defense. Even his own father had expressed his disappointment, which would have impacted Cas more if the man weren't a belligerent drunk in those days (he got better, but not until they found another place to live in Clifton.) He had friends growing up, but most of them were afraid to be seen with him in fear of attracting the same kind of violent attention. However, once he began to fill out, and showed that he wasn't willing to get beaten up his standing in the hierarchy got better. At the same time his willingness to make trouble got worse.

On his 15th birthday his father got him a dog, a beautiful Irish Setter, hoping that having a companion would help him out some. Cas, who wasn't fond of animals in general, came to enjoy the dogs presence - up until she began speaking to him. Yeah, that was a shock to someone who had spent quite a long time ignoring this insane side of him. He got fed up, marched to his fathers office and proceeded to break down about everything. His father was at a loss, but had decided that this sort of extreme circumstance warranted some sort of contact with the woman who was supposedly his mother. Cas hadn't known her at all, and hadn't even known that his father knew how to contact her, it was sort of a big shock to top of the day.

When they met she didn't say anything to him - it was extremely disheartening - but got the 411 from his father. Cas was then told that he would be going to Greece, to attend some academy or something. He agreed, in hopes that he could learn to put all the craziness behind him.

Samus Daly 51| "From day one we've had a rocky relationship, I mean, not only did he name me Cassidy - yeah I know it was my grandfathers name, whatever its still embarrassing - but he insisted on making me apart of these weird family traditions and making me meet all these insane cousins and such that I don't even know...and to top it off he didn't even tell me about Artemis until animals started talking to me - that's right, frickin' animals man. Anyway, hes a good enough dad despite some pretty heavy flaws. I guess I don't really hate him."

Artemis| "A real piece of work, I mean a kid goes years without knowing who their mother is and on the day they meet? Zero acknowledgement whatsoever. I mean look, I didn't plan on us becoming super close and me actually calling her mom. But I dunno, a little care would have been nice? Maybe a simple word acknowledging the fact that I'm her son, and totally not some alien from another world. So yeah, we've got a bad relationship. Shes kind of a bitch to be honest, so I don't try to get her attention anymore."

Blood On My Name
Image
The tower stands as tall as any man made construct, it looms over the island of Aeaea, keeping a watchful eye over the island, and standing as a reminder of the Gods presence to the Demigods that take residence on it's shores, and within it's walls no mortal, human or otherwise, has stepped foot inside of it. At the top of the tower, in it's highest inner sanctum rests the Chamber of Council, a meeting place for the Gods to discuss the state of affairs, and other topics that they deem worthy of their time.

In the Chamber of Council, on the first day of the fall semester for the academy, and the day where most of it's students are returning from summer break, on this day Zeus has called forth a meeting. The inside of the chamber is a large, open clear sky with no sighs of a door, or any sighs that it is in fact a room. "I have gathered you all here today to discuss a disturbing vision Apollo has had. Apollo if you will." Zeus stated, his voice being thunderous, and commanding, as one would expect the king of the Gods to sound.

"Right, thank you for such a stellar introduction." Apollo smirked, but was responded by an annoyed groan by Zeus before he returned to the topic at hand. "Well lads, and lasses, I've recently had a vision that I feel like I should share with the group. You know, as the humans say sharing is caring." "Get to the point idiota!" Ares snarled at him, which was followed by a chuckle by Hermes. Zeus shoot a quick glare at both of them that caused them to shut right up. "Anyways, my vision is about the academy, and I believe that it will come to pass soon."

"I saw blood, a river of it. An invasion of Minotaurs, and iron birds. The sky shattering to pieces, and the tower here crumbling."
Apollo explained. "What bothers me the most is that it was.....hazy, unclear. It reminded me...." Before Apollo finished his sentence he looked over at Zeus, as if asking him permission to go forward. Zeus gave him a nod to proceed. "It reminds me of the fall of Olympus....it's....as jumbled, and foggy as it was. It was too late when I got my vision about Olympus, I fear it might be too late for Aeaea."

"Minotaurs? That's impossible! They were killed off, me and Artemis made sure of that." Ares stated as he pointed over to Artemis, who merely grunted in agreeance. "And as always Ares you entirely missed the point." Athena chimed in. "This is troublesome. This is obviously related. The question is how. How can these events be related if they are millennia apart?" Athena pondered as she rubbed her chin. "I have been saying it for decades, we need to shore up our defenses! Increase patrols, personal, better weaponry, and equipment!" Ares stated. "If it was up to you dear brother this entire island would become a military compound rather than a place of learning."

"And would that be a bad thing? What are we preparing them for if not to fight in our name?" Artemis chimed in. "War is not something that a civilized people work towards." Athena stated in her ever present cold manner. "Pfft, war is the law of nature. Survival of the fittest, the weak will be rooted out in it's embrace." Ares growled. Before another word could be said shadows suddenly appeared within the center of the room, forming into a doorway that Hades stepped out of.

"Well I hope I didn't miss anything too interesting." Hades said as he took off his red tinted sunglasses, and placed it in his overcoat's pocket. "Nice of you to finally join us brother." Poseidon said in an annoyed tone. "Well you know me little brother, always have to make an entrance." He smirked. "We were discussing a vision I had, about the destruction of the academy, and the island." Apollo stated, bringing him up to speed. "Oh, well that does sound like it may be a problem. Let me know how it turns out for you. I have my own dealings to take care of, the Underworld doesn't run itself you know."

"We must prepare ourselves. Ares, you are correct, we must shore up our defenses. You are also correct Athena, we can not turn this island into a military base, we must not tip off those that work against us that we know something." Zeus ordered as he finally spoke again after taking in everything. "Ares, Hephaestus you two will enhance our defenses, and prepare our security forces for anything that may happen. Artemis, Athena I want you two to help Apollo make sense of his visions. As for the rest of you it shall be business as usual. Keep a watchful eye out for anything that may be out of the ordinary. That is all, you are dismissed."

"Boom! There goes your head!" "No fair, you always know where the rocket launchers spawn! Cheater!" "I'm sorry you suck so bad." This type of talk went on between a young Jensen, and his little brother Nolan as they played a video game. "So where do you want to lose at next? Beaver Creek?" Jensen then looked over at his brother. Nolan was leaning against the wall in the far back, with a large chunk of his shirt burnt off, and a large burn on his chest. Jensen, on instinct, rushed to his brother's side, who was shaking, and gasping for air.

"Nolan!" Jensen shouted as he got over to his brother. He lightly slapped Nolan on his face, and tried shaking him to wake him up. Then Nolan just completely turned into ash. Jensen stood there in shock as the remains of his brother slipped through his fingers. The surroundings then changed around Jensen, now being in a cemetery, and standing over a grave marked with Nolan's name. Jensen looked down, and at the other graves lined up in the row. The names were familiar. Amanda Cartwright, Isaac Herbert, Grayson Foster, Keo Kealoha, Kai Kealoha, and the list goes on. All people he goes to school with.

Jensen stared at the names, especially Amanda's as he began hyperventilating. Panic then began to set in as he stepped away from the graves. Jensen bumped into something, stopping him from moving backwards. He turned around to see it was Zeus towering over him. "It's only a matter of time Jensen. It's only a matter of time before you destroy everything." Zeus said as he pushed Jensen forward. "Like....You....Always....Do." Zeus said as he poked Jensen in the chest with each word. Jensen then fell back into a open grave, seemingly falling for miles.

Jensen's eyes shot open as he awoke in his bed. He ran his hand down his face, and looked over beside him to see Amanda still asleep. Jensen looked over at his clock on his nightstand, it was nearly seven o'clock now. Jensen sat up as slowly as he could, and got out of bed, trying not to wake Amanda up. He knelled down, and pulled out a suitcase underneath his bed, and opened it up, taking out a couple boxes from it. Presents he got for Amanda during his summer break. Though they were all but boyfriend and girlfriend, just not officially. Jensen likes his privacy, and so they're on the down low, though he's pretty sure most, if not all of the students at the know they are seeing each other.

Jensen looked over at Amanda, and let out a sigh. 'What am I doing?' He wondered to himself as he watched her. Jensen laid down next to Amanda, and wrapped his arm around her, and began kissing her below her ear, and down her neck. "Hey, time to get up." He said, trying to give her as pleasant a wake up call as possible. He placed his hand on her chin, and gently pushed her to face him, and then he passionately kissed her on the lips.

"Oh! I didn't have the time to tell you this last night, but I got you a little something over the break. Well a couple of little things." He said as he placed the boxes he took from his suitcase, and placed them on the bed. He opened them up, one contained a first edition Outlander novel, another had four multi color seashells, and then a smaller box that contained seashell necklace. "Didn't know if you had the book or not, I know you like those romance novels so I got it for you. And I know how much you like shells, so....uh there you go. Hope you like them, not much of a gift giver."

Jensen's phone then made a noise, signaling that he got a text message. Jensen leaned over, and grabbed his phone to read the message.

{Club meeting at the usual spot. Now.}

Jensen sighed as he closed out of his messages.

Isaac's head bobbed up and down as he listened to his music blasting loudly as he worked on a circuit board. He worked on the circuit board with a pair of goggles pushed down on his face to protect his eyes from sparks that would fly off from the circuit. He was in his secret lab where he works on his more sensitive projects. Behind him stood several tall figures each covered with a sheet.

Isaac then heard his phone going off, signaling that he got a text. He sighed as he laid his tools down, and calmly lifted his goggles up to rest on his forehead. Isaac flicked his wrist to bring up his text messages. Though to anyone seeing him, if there was anyone around to see him he'd just look like he was spazing out.

{From: Thomas Elliot}
{Time for a club meeting. Coming to you. The Thunderer will be along shortly.}

Isaac rolled his rolled. The Thunderer, Jensen. Ugh. How he ever got stuck with working with that idiot was beyond him. Though he did have his uses. He was useful as a power source when he needed a lot of energy, and he couldn't very well plug into any old outlet. And Jensen was also rather strong, almost abnormally strong for a Demigod of Zeus. But still, being the only person that he could really work with was rather bothersome.

5673... 5674... 5675... 56- "Ray!" Great... Now I lost count. Reagan leaned her head back against the tiled wall behind her, hoping her mother would go away or search somewhere else. "Reagan Joss Davenport!" With her head still resting back against the wall, she slowly opened her eyes to see her mother's form high above the water's surface. There was no hiding, her mother was looking straight down at her knowing all too well that she'd be in the pool. After giving herself another moment or 2, Reagan kicked off of the ground, shooting herself upwards towards the surface.

Coming up from the depths of the pool she emerged from the water. "Moooommm... You made me lose count. I was at-" "By all means, feel free to stay in there... It's not like you don't have a flight in an hour." "Oh shit!" Reagan willed the water to shoot her out of the pool, landing next to her mother. "Hey! Language!" She ran over to the table where she had her clothes lying out. She grabbed the skirt, wiggling it over her swimsuit. "You're not really wearing that-" Reagan then stepped into her sandals, and threw on her sunglasses. "Ready!" "And you are... You're really going on a plane like that?" "Yeah, why not?"

Reagan smirked towards her mother, knowing it frustrated her how she wore her bathing suits everywhere. She hurried inside through the patio door, making her room where Cas was still sleeping on the far side of her bed. Reagan snuck over to where he was sleeping, and rang out her hair on him, giggling. "Wake up Castiel!" She had a bad habit of calling him the name of one of her favorite characters from Supernatural since he never liked his name. "We're going to miss our flight!" She ripped the blankets off of him, before quickly moving about the room, throwing a clean outfit at him and then shoving the rest of his things into his bag. "How do you have more stuff than me!? I thought I was the girl?" "Come on guys! We need to go!" Her mom shouted from the car. Reagan throw Cas' bag at him, before grabbing her own and hurrying outside. "Shotgun!" Once they both were in the car, her mother started towards the airport driving like a bat out of hell.

They got there just in time... Well in time for her mom to give an emotional and overly dramatic farewell, like usual. "Oh look at you two." Reagan sighed, rolling her eyes but was still smiling slightly at her silly mother. "Mom, you do this every time." "Oh shut up." Her mom smiled, giving Reagan a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Text me when you land, and-" "And when we get to camp, if the plane is delayed... Or if we die." "Very funny." Her mom said in a flat tone. That didn't last long, quickly turning back to a sad and happy smile as she hugged Cas also giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Try not to kill my daughter... I love her sometimes." Reagan laughed dryly, "I think you're her favorite." Her mom chuckled, "I chose to love him... You I had no choice." She laughed, before pulling Reagan in for another hug. "Mom we're going to miss our flight if you keep hugging us." "Ok, ok!" Ray grabbed Cas' arm and headed towards the door, waving towards her mom before entering the terminal.

The flight was long and boring, and Reagan honestly can't remember any of it besides falling asleep on Cas and drooling on his shoulder. Then there was the taxi ride with an old man who could barely see above the steering wheel. His dodgy driving causing Reagan to practically cut off the circulation in Cas' hand. And THEN a ferry ride to the island. Honestly the process of getting to Aeaea was quite frustrating and took way too much time. But finally they were there. Stepping out onto the shore, Reagan grabbed her phone, quickly texting her mom.

{ To: Mommy Dearest }
"We're here, relatively in all our pieces. Cas' might have lost an arm in the baggage claim. But it's ok, he has another one."

Reagan didn't even have a chance to put her phone away before it dinged with a new message.

{ From: Mommy Dearest }
"You're hilarious... I hid presents for you and Cas in your bag! Love you! Tell Cas I love him too & that he needs to make an honest woman out of you and date you already!! xoxo"

Reagan rolls her eyes, shoving her phone away without replying to her mom's text. She knew the last comment would result in a little silence on Ray's end but her mom would be fine knowing they've arrived. "Mom snuck presents for us in my bag apparently... Oh and she says she loves you, and once again said we should just date already." She looks over at him, making a silly face before laughing.

Cas didn't know when he had managed to fall asleep, his nights drew on longer than most. Being incapable of falling asleep at a decent hour. He knew only that between one breath and the next he had drifted off...only to be promptly awoken in the next by something wet hitting his back. "Wake up Castiel!" It took him a minute to register the giggling, and another for his awareness to finally kick in. "We're going to miss our flight!" Cas jumps to total awareness, wild eyed and potentially facing the worst headache of his life if anything could be told by the pounding behind his eyes.

Cas makes a shooing motion, trying to go for a grumpy attitude. But eventually dissolves into laughter once she rips the blankets away and tosses a new outfit at him. "If you wanted to get me out of my clothes, you could've just asked." Cas smirks, pulling his dampened shirt off and tossing it in her direction. Unabashedly changing his clothes right then and there. "How do you have more stuff than me!? I thought I was the girl?" Cas shrugs, "I don't wear swimsuits everywhere." He answers teasingly. Catching his bag with ease as she tosses it in his direction, he follows her quickly, hearing Reagans mom shouting from the car about being late. Honestly, he didn't want to go, long flights were hell and the idea of school itself made him cringe. He wondered what kind of trouble he would be getting up to this year. He didn't usually plan these things out, just got drawn into the trouble as it came.

Lost in his own head, he barely came to as Reagan called out shotgun. He rolls his eyes and nudges her with his elbow, "What are we twelve?" before sliding into the backseat. Honoring the age old rule of shotgun. He had to grip the grip handle nearly the whole way there, afraid that they would go careening into traffic or something with the speed they were going. On arrival he stumbled out of the car, nearly toppling over with the weight of his bag. He turns back to Reagan and her mom. "Oh look at you two." Cas smiles, wholeheartedly. Before Reagan and her mom came into the picture he had never had someone act so motherly towards him. It was honestly one of the best things in the world. He watches the exchange of snipes between mother and daughter for a few seconds before her mom drags him into a hug, kissing his cheek. "Try not to kill my daughter... I love her sometimes."

"No promises," he chuckles. Turning a sly grin on Reagan. "I think you're her favorite." Reagan says, "I chose to love him... You I had no choice." Cas sticks his tongue out at Reagan in response. Afterwards once Reagan finally convinces her mom to let them leave, they rush towards the terminal. Cas only hopes he has an aisle seat. Preferring to not see just how far up in the air they are while hoping to the gods they don't hit any turbulence.

Thankfully he gets to sit on the outside seat. Settling into place he leans back against the uncomfortable seat, wondering if he could manage to fall asleep this time. It would make things a lot easier. Flying made him nervous, something he wasn't keen on admitting though he was sure Reagan knew it. If not only because they were attuned to each other so well. His luck seemed to run out after they took off, not only couldn't he manage to fall asleep but Reagan had managed to fall asleep near instantly. He sighs, but doesn't wake her. Moving to shift her just a bit on his shoulder. Despite the drool, it wasn't an unpleasant position.

Using his free arm he reaches into his pocket, pulling out his ipod and setting it to shuffle. With nothing else to kill the time he closes his eyes and lets the music wash over him.

After the long, nerve wrecking flight finally came to an end they had to endure what Cas would call the worst taxi experience of his life. Reagan had a death grip on his hand nearly the entire ride, and he had braced his other arm against the seat in front of him just in case. He nearly had a heart attack as the man took a sharp left, the visions of a collision overtaking his mind.

"Glad thats over...jeeze" Cas says, as they both exit the hellish Taxi. Next stop would be the ferry ride - another transportation mode that Cas wasn't entirely fond of. In fact, it seemed the only method he didn't hate was walking. He didn't exactly trust most things. Whether it be a metal machine at high altitude, or a metal machine sailing through the water. He braces for another long, and boring trip to the island. Spacing out until they arrive ashore the island.

He shifts his heavy bag uncomfortably, waiting patiently as Reagan texts her mom. Letting her know of their safe arrival.

"Mom snuck presents for us in my bag apparently... Oh and she says she loves you, and once again said we should just date already." Cas laughs, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, "Well, we've already kissed, we're ahead of the game there. Let her know I love her too." He turns and slings an arm around her. "Now, did somebody say presents?" No matter what he could always count on her presents.

"We should probably hit the dorms first." He motions towards his overstuffed bag, overflowing slightly from one corner. "Lugging this crap around is not fun." He detaches from her, moving the bag higher up on his shoulder. Its straps straining against the weight dragging it down. "Ladies first," He motions for her to lead the way. The two of them heading for the dorms. Boys and Girls didn't share a room, but any rule against going into each other's had been ignored completely by the two of them. Cas didn't even know if such a rule existed, if it did they had violated it too many times to count. Cas preferred hers to his own, as his own usually wound up becoming a warzone with the mess he would make. It was honestly amazing that his roomie could put up with him.

On arrival Cas tosses his bag to the ground vowing to take it to his own dorm later, dramatically sighing and flopping over onto her bed. After a minute he props back up on his elbows. "So, we got an agenda today or are you tired of me yet?" He asks jokingly, knowing that the first day back was usually pretty boring. The exhaustion from travel would be getting to him sooner or later, but he was riding on good emotions in that moment.

Cas laughed at the comment about the text from her mother, wiggling his brows towards her. "Well, we've already kissed, we're ahead of the game there. Let her know I love her too." Reagan laughs, playfully bumping his side with her hip. "You realize that if I ever told her that she'd have a field day!" She looked over towards him, raising her brows. "She'd have my wedding dress picked out by the next time we went to visit her." Cas then through his arm around her. "Now, did somebody say presents?" Ray smiled, "Expect anything less?"

"We should probably hit the dorms first." Cas said while motioning towards his rather large bag. Reagan's gaze follows only to laugh at him. "Lugging this crap around is not fun." Removing his arm from her to adjust his bag, and motion ahead of him. "Ladies first." Ray quickened her step to walk in front of him. She turned around walking backwards while talking to him. "Maybe you should wear swimsuits everywhere like me?" Her hand snapped the fabric of her swimsuit against her abdomen before shimmying playfully. "I mean you'd definitely be more appealing to look at without a shirt on all the time." She bit her lip at him teasingly before spinning back around and leading the way towards the dorms. No doubt they'd go to hers first. Sometimes Reagan wondered if Cas even had his own room because he was usually in hers most of the time. Plus her roommate generally flew solo so it was rare that they were both in the room at the same time.

Once in her room, Cas didn't wait for invitation. Instead he threw his bag down on the ground before sighing very dramatically and flopping onto her bed. Reagan kicked his back slightly, "I'm not doing your laundry." She stuck her tongue out at him before taking a seat on the ground beside her bed, crossing her legs indian style underneath her. Cas adjusted himself so he was propping himself up on his elbows."So, we got an agenda today or are you tired of me yet?" "What? Tired of you?" She said it overly sarcastically. In all honesty she could probably never be tired of him. If she could be, she probably would of had him leave her alone long ago.

Reagan leaned over, grabbing her bag and began to unzip it. "We probably should see these 'gifts' mom spoke of." It took a moment or two of digging around to find them. Typical mom style they weren't wrapped or anything, just kinda had a string wrapped around them, but 2 separate groupings. "It looks like cookies, socks, another hoodie andddd... another beanie for you good sir." She tosses him his bundle, before looking over her own. "And cookies, socks, another bikini and... uh oh." Reagan held up the newest Call of Duty. "Looks like a tournament is in store my young padawan."

Then Reagan reached under her bed to grab 2 other things. But these were from her. She didn't tell Cas about them because she knew he'd tell her not to get him anything. But she comes by it honestly like her mom, and loves giving those she loves random gifts. "I got you a couple things too." She then puts her hands up in an innocent manner. "Shush... I made them." She held out her hand with the first present. A simple leather band necklace with a guitar pick as the charm, and on the guitar pick was a lip print. "You know... So you never forget how we became friends." She made a kissy face towards him.

The next thing Ray pulled out was significantly larger, probably 18"x18" in size. It was just a large collage of different pictures of them together. She moved to sit on the edge of the bed next to him, holding it so he could them as she pointed out some of the best pictures. "This was that time I finally got you in the pool with me. And that was the first time I brought you home on break with me. Oh yeah and this was when my mom unofficially made you her son... Photo credit for most of these goes to mom." There were pictures of her, Cas and her mom, of them both playing video games, of Ray pushing Cas into the pool and even one of them both asleep on the couch together.

Reagan smiled as she slipped the collage in front of him. After a long moment, her smile faded slightly. "What are we going to do when we graduate?" She never liked talking about it because she couldn't imagine her life without Cas. She never went a single day without seeing him, and this was her last year there. They both knew it but never talked about it. "... Would you come live with mom and I?... Because you know if you disappeared I wouldn't be the only one who missed you. And you know mom would let you come live with us permanently." She glanced over her shoulder down at him, her face strangely serious which was not normal for her. It was apparent on her face that the thought had been troubling her for sometime.

At some point during his workout, he wasn't entirely sure when he thought he noticed 2 joggers in the distance collide. They were too far away for him to be able to tell exactly who they were and he was still in a slight funk, not really in the mood to go out of his way to deal with anyone. It was strange how one simple conversation could make someone so homesick for a place that couldn't feel any less like a home. But he couldn't help but feel like he abandoned those kids, taking the easy way out instead of serving time for his thievery. It all just made him angry. You can't change the past and he's stuck in a frozen present at this god forsaken place.

Miles fueled all his feelings into working out, finding it as the only source of relief. As the sun rose high in the sky, he grew hotter. Eventually he tore his shirt off and tied his curly hair back into a tiny bun. He then walked back over towards the chin up bar. He jumped up into the air, grabbing the bar with just his right hand and began single armed pull ups. Just as he finished a good handful of reps, he switched arms. It was then that he heard, "Hey bro, what's going on?" Miles looked over towards the direction of the voice, smiling when he saw it was Jess. "Oh..." He hoisted himself up, "Just clearing my head."

Finishing his chin ups, Miles hopped down from the bar and grabbed his water. He took a long drink while Jess laid on a near by bench to look up at the sky. "Miss me?" Miles laughed as he slowly walked over towards her, sitting in the grass next to the bench. "How was your summer.... Away from here?" He asked her with evident disdain in his voice. Miles hated this place. Maybe it was because he never really found his niche like most people here did. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but something about this place wasn't for him.

||#6dc066||Fehrplay - Renegade||Clothes &Jacket|| Daughter of Hades ||

There isn't much to say in terms of how Talias break went. She went home, saw her mom and sisters for a short while, and then returned to the island where she settled in with the crowd that lived there in the town area of the island. She had stayed relatively busy, practicing what she knew and what she didn't know. Trying to feel more at home on the island, but she hadn't felt home anywhere for years. She had at one point seen Hades - in a passing glimpse of course as he went on his way to the forbidden tower, she did not know if her presence was noted, or if allowing the shadows to mask her kept her hidden. These things were still new to her, really, but she knew the more practice she got the better. Either way she did not pursue her interest in the tower, as she had already learned her lesson the hard way the punishment that came from even acting interested in checking out the inside.

Instead she had returned to the town, and mingled with the crowds there. She had set up an okay rapport with some of the people there, often finding herself wasting her days in the cafes or shops. Most, if not all of her current dorm decorations had come from the shops, and she just couldn't live without coffee on a daily basis. It was easier on the island, no matter if it felt like home or not. Because at least on Aeaea she had people who could understand her, and teachers who were willing to be more of an authority role than anyone else in her life ever wanted to be.

--

Everyone who had left for break had started to filter back in, a slow trickle of students at first until more and more began to arrive. The ones like her, who hadn't left for the duration of the break were finally joined by their fellows. Talia had settled back into her dorm happily, cleaning up her room and placing new trinkets bought from the shops on the shelves lining her walls. She had to make it feel more like home somehow. With that finished she had time to kill, and she didn't feel like spending it cooped up in her room.

Heading into the town sounded the best, she had been frequenting there a lot lately and she figured it would be a bit more lively at least with the students all coming back in. she could head towards a Cafe, grab a cup of joe, and possibly walk around until she felt comfortable again with the addition of all the people around her. Out in the hallways she could hear some students, younger ones probably if anything could be told by their rapid speaking and excited yelling. She had been like that at one point, perhaps not quite so loud, but she had been excited to be amongst people alike her.

Passing by a particularly large group, she feels a sharp jab in her side. A shoulder colliding with her on purpose...no, she frowns, looking back at the nameless face as the group continues walking past not on purpose at all. No use getting upset over nothing. She pushes onwards, away from the dorms.

Cas was entirely sure that if Reagans mom knew they had kissed before, that would be the end of their platonic relationship. She would probably marry the two of them herself. That was a funny image enough to get him laughing again. "Expect anything less?" she says when he mentions the presents. Nope, he really doesn’t expect anything less.

Reagan had teased him on the way to the dorm, something he thought about before when he flopped onto the bed. "What? Tired of you?" She said it so sarcastically that he winced, uttering a non-serious β€˜ouch’ under his breath. She could be real prickly sometimes, but he knew she wasn’t being serious at that moment. He doesn’t say anything else, just watches her as she leans over to grab her bag. β€œWe probably should see these 'gifts' mom spoke of." He couldn’t agree more, and he knew his eagerness was probably showing. After a moment of watching her dig she came up with the presents, the 2 separate gifts wrapped up in a string. "It looks like cookies, socks, another hoodie andddd... another beanie for you good sir." Score! He catches the bundle gladly.

Quickly unwrapping the gifts, making a small mess of Reagans bed. He quickly pulls off the faded black beanie that he had been wearing before, and replaces it with the new one. Before tearing into the cookies. He really should save them, but he couldn’t stop himself from trying at least one. β€œMan, she always gives us the best gifts.” He carefully packs the socks away into his bag, vowing to later throw out all his old holey and torn up ones. He always went through socks faster at an alarming pace.

"And cookies, socks, another bikini and... uh oh." Reagan holds up the newest Call of Duty. "Looks like a tournament is in store my young padawan." Cas nods, completely excited for the marathon they’ll probably be having later. He chews on the last bite of his cookie, savoring the flavor. Moving to sit up on the bed so that he doesn’t choke himself and look like an idiot for it. Which was something that happened on a daily basis anyways. He watches Ray reach under the bed again, the confusion must be obvious on his face. "I got you a couple things too." He opens his mouth to protest, "Shush... I made them." She holds up her hands, shushing him. He closes his mouth with a small stricken frown.

He takes the first present she holds out towards him, examining the leather band necklace with growing surprise. The charm was a guitar pick, imprinted with a lip shape on it. He quirks a small smile. "You know... So you never forget how we became friends." She makes a kissy face at him, and that alone is enough to return him to a happy mood. β€œLike I could forget, it's not everyday a stranger kisses you to save you from trouble.” he smiles, then whispers β€œThank you Ray.” But it looks like she isn’t done because she them pulls out a larger present. A collage of pictures featuring them together. He scans the images, nostalgia overwhelming him a bit.

"This was that time I finally got you in the pool with me. And that was the first time I brought you home on break with me. Oh yeah and this was when my mom unofficially made you her son... Photo credit for most of these goes to mom." He remembers all of those moments with the sort of clarity that most don’t have. He touches the edges of the photos when she passes the collage to him, he opens his mouth to speak but is robbed of words. Emotions running high, but Cas isn’t someone who cries easy. For the first time in a long time he wonders what he would do without Reagan there by his side.

He turns to look at her, to thank her for this amazing gift when he notices that she is no longer smiling so brightly. "What are we going to do when we graduate?" The words hit him like a bucket of ice, freezing his blood. What were they going to do? What was he going to do. He hadn’t thought that far, or, he hadn’t ever wanted to think that far ahead. The Academy had been what brought them together in the first place, it was where they spent their days near constantly with each other. Cas was at a loss without her, they were inseparable. But that was because they could be around each other 24/7, the shared school made sure of that. "... Would you come live with mom and I?... Because you know if you disappeared I wouldn't be the only one who missed you. And you know mom would let you come live with us permanently.” He had placed some thought into it before.

But Cas, being who he is had never thought that it would be possible. He didn’t want to burden them, even though he knew he wasn’t a burden. His own anxiety wouldn’t let him think otherwise. He realizes he’s freaking out a little bit when his hands start shaking, so he takes a few measured breaths before speaking. Getting worked up won’t help anything. β€œI…” He flails for words, chewing at the inside of his lip for a moment. β€œI think that would be great.” He answers at last, lamely, choosing not the voice his fears in the end.

β€œWe can always work out the details later,” He says. β€œBut I don’t want to be anywhere you aren’t.” He smiles again, trying to alleviate the tension in the room. β€œYou’re my best friend Ray, and the first person who made me feel like I could do better so whatever it takes.”

Reagan laughed shaking her head and burying her face in her palm as she watched him quickly make a mess of her bed just to remove his tattered beanie, replacing it with his new one. β€œMan, she always gives us the best gifts.” She wasn't going to deny it, her mom definitely knew what they liked... It's a mom thing.

Cas went to put up an argument when she told him about the gifts she made him, but she didn't care. He was her best friend and she wanted him to know how special he is to her. Reagan was able to make him smile once again when she made the kissy face towards him after giving him the necklace. β€œLike I could forget, it's not everyday a stranger kisses you to save you from trouble.” He then smiled and whispered, β€œThank you Ray.” She grinned happily. It's true, and definitely a story they'll remember for a very long time.

Reagan could tell the pictures were making him a little emotional. Not to the point of crying, because it'd have to be something serious to make Cas cry. He didn't say anything which worried her a little, maybe he didn't like it? And as her thoughts went to a darker place and she spoke them out loud to him she saw his entire demeanor change. She didn't mean to upset him but she didn't want to be without him in her life anyways. Everyone here comes from different corners of the world and she couldn't bare to be away from him for more than a week.

Glancing down, Reagan saw Cas' hands begin to shake. Before he could say anything she quickly shifted onto her knees upon her bed, wrapping her arms around him and resting her cheek on his shoulder. "Nothing or no one will tear us apart!" She shifted her weight back on her heels so that she could look into his eyes, "You hear me Cassidy Daly? Reagan knew he hated his full name but she said it show how serious she was while cupping his face in his hands. "You're stuck with me if you like it or not!"

β€œI… I think that would be great.” Cas finally said, referring to Reagan's comment about him coming to live permanently with her and her mom. β€œWe can always work out the details later, But I don’t want to be anywhere you aren’t." She lets out a soft sigh, moving to sit beside him and rest her head upon his shoulder. "Well good because mom's already kinda preparing the house for you to live there." She looked up at him slightly, "She's pulling out all the stops..." Then she rolled her eyes, laughing slightly. "Ok well she bought a second dresser for my bedroom for your stuff and is getting a heavy duty washer and drier that can handle your funk." She stuck her tongue out playfully.

β€œYou’re my best friend Ray, and the first person who made me feel like I could do better so whatever it takes.” Reagan smiled towards him before allowing her gaze to drift elsewhere. Something about what he said had an unsettling affect on her stomach. But what was it? She sat there thinking about it for a long moment until she began to realize. 'You're my best friend Ray.' Why did it bother her when he called her his best friend? That's what they were after all, they had been for years now. When the true realization hit her she sat up right, clearing her throat slightly. Oh my god... I like Cas. She left her gaze drift over towards him looking at him like it was the first time she's seen him.

When Reagan realized she was staring, she made a funny face towards him before hopping to her feet. She then walked over to the mirror and began to braid her hair. "So what did you want to do today?" She glanced over her shoulder at him, raising a brow. "Let's just... Do something that gets us out of the dorms." When she finished braiding her hair, she made her way to her dresser. She pulled out a few pieces of clothing and walked to the bathroom to change. If she wasn't wearing a bathing suit she would have just changed there but not if she had to get completely naked. After a moment or two Reagan walked back out wearing skinny jeans, a crop top T-shirt and a flannel.

"Something bothering you then?" Miles ran a hand back through his unruly curls before looking over at Jess. "You could say that..." He looked down at his hands, "I just hate being stuck here all the time." That was all he was really going to say on the matter. He can't remember if she knew or not about the deal he made with Hermes to stay at school instead of going to jail. He knew if he broke the promise then he'd probably be arrested almost instantly. So instead he took his arrangement like a dry pill.

"It was the normal stuff you know. Training. Working out. Struggling to communicate with my mother, hardly hearing from dad, avoiding things, running. A lot of running actually," Jess said in reply to him inquiring about her summer. 'Sounds like our summers were similar... Other than the whole mom and dad, avoiding things." He laughed, "Just the working out, training and running." Miles smiled towards her.

"Miles!" He heard his name called, causing him to look in the direction of the call. Miles smiled and waved when he saw his other sister Giselle approaching. He then did a slight double take as he watched the more uncomfortable interchanges between Giselle and Jessamine, causing him to look down at his hands. "By the way, I literally ran into this guy this morning when I was running. Tall, handsome, didn't talk much, strong, and it was early too. Let me know if you know him, I gotta run grab my textbook for Biology, I left it in my room," Jess said before standing up and walking away. "A name would help you know!" He called after her.

Miles then moved to his feet, taking another drink from his water before turning to look towards Giselle. "Hey!... So did you have a good summer?" He gave his sister a quick hug, "Sorry I probably stink, I've been working out." He motioned towards the work out equipment.

Reagans sudden movement shook him from whatever fog had descended over him, and he felt her shift to wrap her arms around him. Resting her cheek on his shoulder, a feeling that was not entirely unfamiliar washes over him. Something he can’t exactly place, but he understands that it feels safe and warm all the same. β€œNothing or no one will tear us apart!” He misses the weight of her when she pulls back to look him in the eyes. And that determination in her words, without a single ounce of dishonesty is enough for him to realize that his fears are just that – fears that won’t ever come true because no matter what he’s found family with Reagan. "You hear me Cassidy Daly? You're stuck with me if you like it or not!" Cas almost laughs, almost pulling a face at the use of his full name. Somehow it doesn’t sound so bad coming from her lips. β€œI don’t think I could ever hate being stuck with you,” He whispers, completely honest.

"Well good because mom's already kinda preparing the house for you to live there." She looks up at Cas, and he does pull a face them. He never would have expected any different, panic mode had only momentarily blinded him from the reality of his life. "She's pulling out all the stops..." He rolls his eyes alongside her, knowing full well that all the stops have probably been demolished already or are soon to be demolished. "Ok well she bought a second dresser for my bedroom for your stuff and is getting a heavy duty washer and drier that can handle your funk." She sticks her tongue out at him playfully, and he is finally able to breathe a sigh of relief as all of his earlier panic subsides. This is real, Reagan is real, and Cas can’t keep putting himself in this strange sort of mindset where he feels like the other shoe is going to drop – it’s been enough years that he should realize by now that this friendship isn’t going to end, ever.

β€œLike you’re any better,” He snipes back, β€œIts either chlorine or sea salt with you.” What follows is nothing short of an uncomfortable silence where Reagan stares at him for a ridiculous amount of time. He shifts a little, wondering if his teasing hurt her feelings or something but after a while she makes a funny face and turns away to go braid her hair. He admires her skill, while letting the silence fall comfortably over them. There’s something wrong, he can feel it in the way that she can usually tell when he’s feeling off. But assumes its run off from the earlier tension in the room.

"So what did you want to do today?" She glances over her shoulder at him, raising a brow. "Let's just... Do something that gets us out of the dorms." His agreeance is whole hearted, if anything the rapid switch of emotions that just happened is going to give him whiplash, escape is exactly what they need to do. He waits for her to get changed before answering.

β€œLets hit the town, there’s got to be something interesting to do.” He doesn’t outright mention making any trouble, but knowing the two of them it’ll follow with time. β€œOr we could just go down to the beach, get our sun-tan on, I know how much you like seeing me without a shirt on.” He flexes and smiles goofily. He asks, standing and heading for the mirror to make sure he’s looking halfway decent. When finished with that activity he turns to face her, barely masking the concern that’s decided to invade him, β€œAre you alright? You seem a little off.” He decides against getting too serious, not wanting to ruin the new good vibes in the room. β€œNot that you aren’t always a little off,” He snarks, lightly tapping her head as he passes by.

Talia had been dutifully ignoring the masses entering the CafΓ© up until the point she could no longer do so. "Vitalia! Hey!" Jasmine Saule – an unusual girl, not exactly someone Talia would approach on her own given a choice. But Jazz isn’t exactly one to give choice, she made sure of that the second Talia tried to tell her off last year for digging too deep into Talia’s personal life; not to mention she acts like calling Talia anything other than Vitalia is some sort of personal offense.

But Talia would also be lying if she said she hadn’t grown a sort of grudging fondness for the overly exuberant Ares girl. If anything they had more in common with their shared delusions of being more than small balls of fiery anger. "I hope you don't mind," Jazz says, motioning broadly to the table, not at all, Talia thinks to herself glumly, as if she was given a choice "So how was your summer?" Jazz continues, undeterred by Talia’s absolute lack of response.

She opens her mouth to start in on a spiel about visiting her mother and sisters for a short while but before she can get a single syllable out another person has decided to join them. β€œHey, Jazz! And Talia! How’s it hanging?” Miss Lysandra, another familiar but not altogether known face to Talia. At least she has the decency to not call her Vitalia, something that instantly warms Talia to her. Among other things, being that Jo has never done anything to cause Talia to dislike her; meaning on the short list of acquaintance/friends, Jo makes the cut. Even if she’s sort of intimidated by the fact that she’s almost the equivalent of a teacher. In fact, it’s beginning to dawn on her that she’s the youngest person at this table. This must be what her sisters feel like when they tag along with her over break to visit her own friends.

β€œIt’s been…hanging I guess.” Talia makes a pained face, as if casually joking is physically harming her. Of all the moody, broody, teenagers here, Talia is certain she is in the top 3 of the list.

β€œSummer was boring, visited family then came back and wandered around a lot.” She shrugs, almost uncomfortable to indulge even this much, β€œAll in all it wasn’t horrible, how about you guys?” She asks, hopefully deflecting Jazz’s attention to the more deserving redhead at the table. If anything is sure to make Talia uncomfortable its having the floor. Plus, if she’s going to make the effort this year to make sure-friends she’s got to learn about them.

She downs the rest of her drink in one show of spectacular idiocy, feeling a bit wired from the rush of caffeine that results and definitely feeling the burn as it slides down her throat. But against her better judgement orders another cup just to spite her own anxious feelings. No one ever accused her of being smart, or sociable, or really anything at all.

β€œLike you’re any better,” Cas said, causing Reagan to turn her head towards him curiously. β€œIts either chlorine or sea salt with you.” She laughed as she put on all her jewelry before making her way back over to the bed. "Well obviously if you had a problem with it you wouldn't spend more nights in my bed than your own." Reagan put on her shoes and began lacing them up but froze a few moments in. Her brows furrowing and lips pursing. "I... didn't mean it like that." She chuckled awkwardly before continuing to tie her shoes.

Once she was finished getting ready, Cas answered her question, obviously agreeing about wanting to get out. β€œLets hit the town, there’s got to be something interesting to do... Or we could just go down to the beach, get our sun-tan on, I know how much you like seeing me without a shirt on.” He then flexed his muscles while smiling towards her. Reagan follows him over to the mirror as he checks his appearance. She stepped onto her tip toes behind him, fixing his hair before making a silly face at him over his shoulder into the mirror.

"True. But I can see you without a shirt on whenever I want." Reagan grasps the hem of his shirt to reveal his bare skin under the shirt. She then playfully slapped his abdomen. "But we don't need you scarring the coeds with your pasty white ass." With that she released the edge of his shirt and turning away slightly before she blushed. Reagan didn't know what was up with herself. She's seen Cas half naked more times than she could count without a single issue. And now she could barely do it without blushing or becoming sheepish. God dammit. She thought to herself, rubbing her face to try and slap some sense into herself.

β€œAre you alright? You seem a little off.” Reagan pivoted around to look over at him, attempting her best smile but it just came off as a weak lackluster tug of her lips. She knew she couldn't hide anything from Cas no matter how hard she tried. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." She said under her breath. β€œNot that you aren’t always a little off,” Cas added sarcastically as he passed her while patting her head, which caused her to chuckle. "Oh you love it."

Before they headed out, Reagan sifted through her purse, smiling when she saw her haul of money she got from life guarding. She returned to Cas, hooking her arm with his as she lead him out of her room. "What do you say to me popping that tattoo cherry of yours?" Reagan rose her brows suggestively before shimming her shoulders playfully. "My treat... I'll even get one too and let you choose what and where." She then held up her index finger to add, "But I'm not getting a penis in the center of my forehead."
