Personality
Emerson is self sufficient and independent, relying on herself alone to get things done. She does not take kindly to strangers and is often aggressive when approached. Tends to be abrasive and overly questioning. She analyzes every little thing with the utmost amount of attention. She can seem OCD in regards to her tendency to organize things. She takes loss easier than what is natural, often putting things behind her quickly. She can be extremely rude, mostly because she refuses to allow anyone to see her as weak. She does not enjoy being the center of attention and would rather fade into the shadows. She is smart and quick, but those skills are not as hones as her physical strength. If she does become attached to something or someone, she will do anything to keep them safe. Emerson knows only what she has been taught by herself really, and is quite socially inept. She is also extremely out of her depth when it comes to actually killing anything.

History
Born to a family of boys, Emerson was practically born fighting and kicking. She grew up with a bunch of rowdy older brothers who were both her best friends and worst enemies. There was never a peaceful day in the Bradley house while Emerson was growing up. When she was around thirteen things began to change a little at a time. Her oldest brothers David and Graven went on to join the military and follow in their fathers footsteps. While she was left behind alone with her mother and teenage brother Mason. Though they were able to take a few leaves once in a long while Emerson barely saw them for long lengths until she got older.
Emerson's mother wasn't very fond of the idea that her daughter wanted to join in on what was becoming a family tradition. She wanted to join the military too, if not only to be with her family - even though she knew that she wouldn't really get to be around them that much. She had grown up in such a way that she was never good at what other girls were good at. Hell, she never even wore make up despite all the teasing from classmates. She didn't spend her days fawning over cute boys or doing girl talk - or really whatever normal girls did. She spent most of her days at a gym, or running track. Gym was her top class all throughout high school and she did whatever she could to get into more gym classes. She barely focused on her other classes, passing them by quickly.
The year Emerson turned twenty was both the best and the worst of years for her. In that year she met her wonderful boyfriend Toby - and in that year...her older brother David was killed by friendly cross fire. It was devastating, and suddenly the life Emerson thought she would be going into had turned sour. She didn't want that life anymore. Her family took the loss pretty hard, but since then Emerson has been rather withdrawn. Instead of continuing on her military bound path she instead she took a job as a personal trainer at a gym and focused on her life with Toby. They were set to be married the next fall when things fell to hell and her world dropped out from underneath her.
Emerson couldn't get in touch with anyone she knew that day - but somehow she knows that nobody could have survived. However she still holds out hope that Toby is out there somewhere.
