Name: Nick Grieves
Age: Twenty
Gender: Male
Personality: Nick seems like a nice enough person. For some reason he's very formal, particularly in the way he speaks, and doesn't seem too prone to shouting or excessive anger. Of course, this makes him even more dangerous - he certainly does a good job of hiding just how twisted he really is. If you co-operate with the system he'll be rather civil. You won't get a free pass, but you'll have a better deal than most. If you don't, well, no mercy will be shown. He's known for being one of the more brutal testers, often devising 'free time' tests of his own that serve no purpose other than to amuse him and mess with the test subjects. 'Limit' is not a word in his extensive vocabulary. If you find yourself taking part in a test underneath him, you have two choices - stick it out, only to go through an even more intense scheme as he becomes determined to get a reaction from you, or give up on the test and take a punishment. Of course he's looking for results as part of his job, but he does get a lot of satisfaction out of the whole deal. On a completely separate note, Nick can be rather flirty with some of the girls, and often gets a little too close for comfort. All under the guise of doing his job, of course.
Position: Staff member - tester, and probably one of the more vicious ones.
Power (if applicable): An early test by his father gave Nick a slight resistance to offensive powers. It's certainly not perfect, and powers do still have an effect on him, but not as much as it would on a normal human.
History: Nick's relationship with his father is almost non-existent. Up until Infrai Corp was exposed for their cruel treatment of those with powers Nick hardly saw his father, spending his time at home with his mother in the large city they lived in. His mother, however, had no clue of what her husband had been doing, and was quick to leave when she found out. Nick was fifteen at the time, and was relocated to the island along with his father. Even though they were now living in much closer proximity to each other the relationship between Nick and his father was still minimal. The only major contact they had was when Nick offered to have a test ran on him. His son's bravery actually brought a smile to his face - a rarity indeed. However, the teenager was all too often left alone with no-one but the scientists and whatever test subjects they had at the time. The workers were too wrapped up in their jobs to pay attention to him, nor were they very interesting, so Nick found himself trying to elicit a reaction out of the subjects in any way possible. When he was seventeen, they finally decided to put this 'curiosity' - really by that point it had just descended into sadism; complete ignorance of a human's nature - to a more practical use, training him as a tester. He's given up on forging a relationship with his dad, and trying to live a normal life. Why should he have to, when he's got all of these toys to play with?
