Introduction

Leigh Collum. This roleplay was originally created on an older account of mine that I lost the password to, so I've decided to remake it.
All of this came from my own mind.
Yes, many! Scroll further to see which ones are available and taken.

Who sparked the flame that burned away humanity's safe and uniform way of life? The creatures effected did not know, though of course they were curious. Unfortunately, they could not research their origin; it was forbidden. Why? No one knew, only perhaps the officials. Still, not many of them truly believed even their respected leaders even understood what had happened. Who had even established the hierarchy system, anyhow? Another question unanswered, yet no one went out of their way to find out; they couldn't. So many things these new creatures were not able to do, because their main job was not taken care of.
And it never would be.

None of the humans fully understood what had happened to them when they awoke. The idea of forming a pack within each pair was already implanted in their minds. The names of the packs were the first word spoken by each male when he awoke fully. The east pack was named Foalan, the west pack was named Bleddyn. The pairs felt a surge of leadership, taking on the rankings of the wolf spirit within them, Alpha Male and Female. Because each human became an Alpha, a strong hatred developed between the two packs.
After the forming of the new hybrids -who formally decided to call themselves werewolves- a burning sensations was felt on the skin of each. On the male, the burning was on the shoulder of the favored arm. On the female, the ankle of the favored leg. Where the burning was worse, an insignia was carved into the skin of the werewolves, symbolizing the crest of each new pack.
For days after the transformation, none of the werewolves could focus on their now mundane jobs. The urge to served and protect humanity was too powerful. Each person agreed that the main reason of their transformation must've been to create a guardian for the humans of the town. Why? No one knew. Without knowing who created them in the first place, it was rather hard to ask why they had to protect humans. Because of the natural feud between the two packs, Foalan was to guard east of the mountain, and Bleddyn west. Nonetheless, the werewolves hid their true identities, continuing life as normally as possible all the while guarding the humans.

It is present day, and the two packs originally created have since then developed. The ancestors of the original Alphas now control both Foalan and Bleddyn, and are continuing to protect the humans of the town. To this day, none of the werewolves understand why they were created, or for what reason.
Throughout the years, the natural distaste between Foalan and Bleddyn still remains. The two packs take daily and nightly patrols around the town, avoiding each other when they are forced to scout similar areas. All of the werewolves are attending college, the Alphas of each pack deciding it was the best idea for them all to bond. Still, the kids' first year hadn't involved any of them warming up to one another. In fact, most of the humans attending the school believe they are in gangs, each pack being a separate gang. True, none of the humans truly understand the hostility, though they'll be even more confused when both "gangs" will be forced to join into one.
It is their sophomore year in college. The pack leaders have decided it is best to form one large pack, so there will no longer be any miscommunication or tension that the humans can pick up on. Of course, the younger pack does not agree. The child Alphas, Guards, and other positions will be forced to mate, creating the ultimate generation of werewolves. None of the young members like to be in the same room as one another, let alone being required to spend time together. How will they handle such complications?

Werewolves are humans with the abilities to change forms. On the full moon of every month, each human is abruptly changed into their wolf form. On other days, werewolves can change at will. This is a practiced skill, and for young wolves the changing can be painful. The more times changed, the less pain is inflicted. Once changed, the werewolves are menacing. They stand much taller than the average wolf, the Alpha being the tallest at 7-8 feet. Their fur ranges in color, thought their eye color is the same for both forms.
When in human form, the werewolves have heightened abilities. Speed and strength are much greater than the average human. Smell, taste, sight, and other senses are also better. These enhancements carry over to the wolf form as well. Naturally, humans are frightened of the werewolves without knowing why. The werewolves are usually attractive, though that does not affect the humans. Something about the werewolves make the humans not want to make unnecessary eye-contact.
Even their moods are greater than the average humans. They can easily get angry, happy or sad, and the emotions are usually to the extreme, more so the higher the rank. Alphas, for example, get more angry quicker than the rest of the pack and so on. Also, having two Alphas together can be difficult. Their leader instinct in dominant, so having too dominant figures together can cause them to bump heads.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 6 authors

The humans in the courtyard went on with their mundane lives. The line at the lunch cart crept slowly to the registers. Teachers sat lazily at their tables drinking black coffee. Some students were blatantly kissing in the shade of the large willows. Time did not stop, nor did the seemingly never-ending chatter. In fact, the only ones frozen were the werewolves.
"The Foalan pack will be joining the Bleddyn pack. The date is scheduled for two weeks from tomorrow."
The words sounded worse spoken allowed. Elle had replayed them in her mind again and again after her parents had originally said them to her nights before. Why join the packs? In her mind it was not a necessity. Bleddyn and Foalan had successfully avoided each other for decades, only coming together during the annual meeting, which was not something either pack looked forward too. Obvious tensions were high, and at least one fight broke out every year. Upon hearing the news of the merge, Elle was flabbergasted. What had the pack leaders been thinking?
Nonetheless, it was still up to her to tell her pack. A weight had been on her shoulders for the hours since she was informed, and she had worried about her pack's reaction. All of its' members were different, each one having their own quirks and personalities. Still, their faces all had the same mask of surprise plastered on. Wide-eyed, open-mouthed, frozen in place. Apples half bitten, milk cartons lifted halfway to mouths. If not for the obvious tension in the air, Elle may have laughed.
None of the humans noticed the delay; most of them weren't brave enough to even glance in the werewolves' direction. Naturally the humans were frightened of the hybrids without knowing why. Elle didn't understand why either; perhaps something psychological? Maybe just the aurora the wolves have? Still, she was grateful no one looked their way. If one pack member were to get too angry about the news, she Elle wouldn't know how to explain to a school full of humans about one of their classmates erupting into a large dog.

Edmund Markus Bales
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A stout, older woman, was seen shifting through a filing cabinet with a practiced air, in the backroom of a Day-Care center for the college student's children and surrounding community's kids; busy with her work, that she didn't hear the steady tread of a young man entering and stopping short of an arm's reach behind her. He was dark of hair and eye, and his fair complexion had a healthy glow to it even in the dimmed lighting. He was quiet, purposeful, and had an unnatural stillness few his age could ever match. He had flecks of dried yellow and blue paint speckled on his fingers, and hand/finger-print's of the same colors gripped around his wrist and fore-arms, the evidence of a busy morning and Markus's unworldly patience.
"Miss, I'm free to go to class now?" A conga line of shivers ran across the elder care-taker's shoulders and down her spine, and Markus may have felt down right apologetic if his employer hadn't asked him to be up front today to collect the children from their parents dropping them off before work or school - and no less than two people had complained to their significant other as they were leaving, in perfect earshot for even an ordinary mundane human to have heard, that they were leaving their kid in the hands of one of those serial killers that was apart of one of those scary gangs. But he guess he couldn't blame them either, humans were naturally frightened of hybrids like him; and children's forgiveness only lasted for a time, before they grew up and became like the rest.
"Yes, Thank you. I'll see you later. Goodbye." The matron resumed her usual tact, rough but proper, as she dismissed her youthful employee. But was unwilling to raise her eyes from the filing cabinet she was currently sorting to make sure he had heard her, all though she needn't have bothered anyway. Markus took his leave after her response and picked up this week's paycheck off the counter, before departing out the door to the spare closet to grab his back-pack and make his way to the cafeteria to meet the others for an early lunch before classes.
Markus has just sat down at the table the young werewolf's of the Foalan pack had claimed for lunch, with a green apple in hand and mildly, exasperated greetings to all. It would likely be no different a day than the next, you'd think... "The Foalan pack will be joining the Bleddyn pack. The date is scheduled for two weeks from tomorrow." He quite nearly choked on the piece of an apple he'd just taken a bite of as he jolted in surprised attention to the words Elle had just spoken. To be completely fair, he was fairly tired from a late night out on patrol and rising early for the morning shift before his classes started that day at the DayCare center on the college campus; but, he didn't think he'd become that hard of hearing yet?
With a painful swallow, he glanced up with widened eyes that quickly narrowed as they met with unnerving intensity to his Alpha that he'd heard her correctly, and nor was Elle pulling their tails metaphorically. It wasn't a frightening aspect per say joining the other pack, but certainly not a preferable action by any means. They'd live apart for generations well enough, why join now? Good grief... "The pack leaders and elders decide this?" Markus questioned, lightly. He already knew the obvious answer, but in keeping his calm and hopefully the others had themselves under wraps as well - especially in the midst of the human beings living out their mundane lives around them, a furry accident would be unnecessary and not to mention messy. Plus it was always better to have more information of the issue at hand, and save the need of getting worked up about it to get it - and would likely keep everyone much calmer, even if flabbergasted and in general upset.

Johnny was sitting in class, his chin in the palm of his hand, his pencil tapping the edge of his desk and his eyes making love with the clock more than anything in the room. He was so ready to see his fellow pack members and even more importantly, his sister, Elle. He was happy that his sister had gained the Alpha position before him. Honestly, he was really immature when it came down to things between the two. Johnny argued the fact that she was a girl and couldn't handle the responsibility like a man can. She actually been doing a great job though - Probably better than him. His eyes roll at the thought but gleamed with happiness when the lunch bell sounded off.
John was the first one out of his seat as he ran pass everyone to get through the door. He dodged every obstacle in sight and managed to make it through the door, nearly falling on his face. Johnny made it to the cafeteria and looked as he seen that his pack had already secured their usual table as he offered them a small wave. Johnny walked over to the lunch line and grabbed himself a pack of apples and a carton of regular milk.
He paid the cashier then walked over to the table, sitting on top of it as his ears twitched when Elle started speaking. Her words made him growl low but fierce. He absolutely hated the Bleddyn pack and now he has to be friends with those people. This was not going to work, at all. He knew that, hell, everyone knows that. His eyes went to Edmund after he had ask his question. "Of course they are. It was probably their idea to begin with. Right, Elle?" He raised another brow towards her while waiting for a response.
When Elle was to give her response, Johnny simply shook his head and got up from his seated position and walked away. He couldn't believe the news and he didn't want to hear anymore of it - At least not right now.

Samson ears twitched when he heard the news of the Foalan pack joining forces with his. His head lowered as he let out a soft sigh then raised his head back up. "Do you guys remember the bloody war that happened just a few weeks ago between the two packs?" He asked the elders. "And you want us to join with these people?" Samson rose up from his seated position and waved his arms around, slightly raising his voice a little. "This is bullshit!" The elders gasped at his vile use of words as they eyed him as he left the room.
That was two days ago. He prolonged telling his pack because he knew that he'll have to probably kill one of them if they got snappy with him. It wasn't his decision. He was just simply following orders. It was now lunch time and he couldn't wait any longer. His eyes flashed over towards some members of his pack and his aura told the story - Along with the expression that was plastered upon his face. In hand, he had a bag of chips and a soft drink. He walked over to their designated area and sat down then stood right back up.
"No longer beating around the bush with you guys but..." Samson had to choose his next words carefully. The reaction of the pack was the only thing on his mind. He bit his bottom lip before letting the next words escaped over his lips. "We're joining forces with the Foalan pack. Now, before you guys go all crazy, I hate this more than you guys do." Samson sighed while sitting back down. "We have to at least give it a shot. Anyone not willing to do, leave this pack now." His tone of voice was very firm as he meant what he said.
Samson ran his hand through his dirty-blonde locks hair as he waited to see if anyone was going to leave.

Karla sat in her class waiting for lunch, she would normally be focused on the teacher but she was starving. As soon as the lunch bell rang she rushed out the room to the cafeteria and bought her lunch.
The rest of the pack was already sitting at their usual table. As soon as she saw Samson's face she knew there was something definitely wrong. She wasn't sure before, but she noticed he was acting strange for the past two days. She sat down and too a drink from her can of pop. Once he stood back up she turned to look up at him. "We're joining forces with the Foalan pack," were the only words she heard and she froze.
"Are you kidding me? If this is a joke, it's not funny." She said finally breaking the silence, as she put down her drink calmly. She couldn't tell if he was serious or not, he couldn't be.
Realizing he wasn't joking she heaved a sigh "I can't believe this."

Autumn sat across from Samson as she always did, something was troubling him she could tell by the look in his eye and how he couldn't sit still for more than two seconds. She watched as he stood up and explained what had occurred a couple days before, she held back a laugh, it was a ridiculous idea, they would probably all kill each other in a week, the two packs just didn't get along, they didn't before and forcing them together would not change that.
She watched the expression on everyones face go from calm to outraged and turned her attention to Karla when she spoke up. Autumn gave a long sigh taking a sip of her water before looking back at Samson. "There is nothing any of us can do about it." She said calmly her facial expression not changing. "All we can do is hope that we don't all kill each other before the weeks end..." Autumn took another sip of her water. "The Elders obviously choose this time to enforce this for a reason. I have never known them to do something without a reason, no matter how much we dislike it, and I am with all of you, I am strongly against it; but we need to put our faith in the elders, there is a reason, there has to be."
Autumn sat back in her chair, the bone chilling silence circling the pack again, she felt like everyone was watching her now even if they weren't. All she knew was that there was a reason, and that their pack had to stick together or it might all crumble down their sanity following it, and that wasn't something Autumn was prepared for.

Arya sat in class bored out of her mind, her head laid on the desk as she tapped on the edge of it. She fixed her gaze out the window before her eyes grew heavy and she quickly drifted into sleep. It only seemed as if she just closed her eyes when the lunch bell rang loudly causing the blond to jump. Arya looked around to see if anyone caught that and sure enough some people did and they laughed at it, the blonde just rolled her eyes and flipped her hair back letting out a sigh as she picked up her backpack and headed out the door. The young woman was up late last night stargazing and she didn't get enough sleep which she cursed herself for because she was feeling groggy and sleepy the whole day.
Arya began her short walk to the lunch room where upon entering spotted her table quickly. She shuffled over to the lunch line where she leaned over sneaking her hand over the railing and took a carton of strawberry milk and a green apple without the lunch ladies noticing and when one of the girls in the lunch line noticed, Arya only winked at her sending her a smile that only made the girl blush and look away. Getting her stuff she began to walk over to the table where she sat next to Karla. Arya bit into her apple after greeting her pack mates and munched lazily her eyes still feeling heavy. "We're joining forces with the Foalan pack. Now, before you guys go all crazy, I hate this more than you guys do." Hearing those words from her Alpha made her look up at him with a 'Really?' expression then she just laid her head down on her arms with a sigh. Arya didn't hate the Foalan pack but she didn't really like them either, maybe it was because she was told that they were her enemy and that's just how it was? She really didn't mind but wasn't ready for this kind of news at the moment. " Damn it." those were the only two words that escaped her mouth in a small mutter as everyone else expressed their anger.

Karla realized Autumn was right, they would just have to deal with it and try to get along. After hearing the news she didn't even want to eat, "You couldn't wait until after I ate could you?" she asked jokingly trying to lighten the mood. It seemed like no one was going to eat, everyone was just staring at their food or just looking blankly into space. This would be the first time she even thought of the Foalan pack, they were probably hating the news just as much as they were. She didn't know why their history was the way it was but it shouldn't be changed, unfortunately there was nothing to do about it.

Autumn looked at her food and took a small bite before looking over her shoulder slightly then Looking back at Samson. She gently took his hand giving him a small smile. "Sam, eat something. You might feel better." Autumn said softly squeezing his hand letting it go and continuing to pick at her food. It was almost as if a giant black cloud was looming over them, everyone was so silent staring at there food like it was going to grow legs and walk away, she had never known the pack to be that silent, especially at lunch, they were always loud and cheerful laughing and talking, the bone chilling silence made her shift uncomfortably. "We should do something, all of us after our classes are done for the day, get our mind of things." She suggest attempting to lift every ones spirits.

Samson was still in shock as he couldn't believe the news either. His eyes reviewed over his fellow pack members then back down at his food. It had seem that everyone had lost their appetite to eat. Samson did as well as his eyes looked over at Autumn with a slight smile dancing among his features. He loved his girlfriend and would damn hurt, or kill anyone that tried to mess with her. Samson is probably the most protective of her than anyone else in the pack.
His eyes looked up at Karla and couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at her words. She was always the one that would be trying the lighten up the mood and she loved her for that. "Come on, let's not look so bummed out about this guys." He said to them while grabbing a hold of Autumn's hand. "Autumn is right. Let's get together and do something so our minds won't be on this." He then let go of her hand while standing up with a raise brow. "Any suggestions?" Samson questioned towards his pack as he stood there, waiting to see if they were going to say anything.

"Of course they are. It was probably their idea to begin with. Right, Elle?"
Markus returned Johnny's stare as he returned a comment for a brief moment. Not in a way designed to be particularly rude, but in an unabashed, piercing, inquisitive way that made you wonder if you have food on your face or your shirt is tucked into your underpants. He had a quick mind and had already assumed as much, if, however, hiding quite well how bothered he was that he hadn't heard something about this earlier from his elderly parents. At the very least, a bonus to the situation, everyone seemed to be holding themselves together well enough at the sound of the news - a few soft growls of mutual agreement shared, wouldn't be of much notice to the fur-less mundanes.
He waited patiently for Elle's response, without a returned glance in Johnny's direction again when he got up from his seated position at their table and walked away without another word. Growing up the years' with both Foalan children, he knew the young Beta male enough that it would be best the let the news sink in to him before he would want to hear anymore of it for now.
