Description

Image

Jason
Age: 19
Gender:Male
Type: Mutant
Mutation: Jason's mutation is far more dominant than most, it has all but re written his genetic code leaving him forever in the form of a humanoid reptilian creature.

Description:Jason is about 10 feet long including the tail and his entire body is covered with oily black scales comparable to a snake's body, his eyes are a frightful greenish yellow with two black slits which aids to the intimidation factor. His teeth are all razor sharp and seem to be coated with an oil like substance, the 3 inch claws at the ends of his fingers are white but somewhat translucent and they drip with a naturally produced venom that instantly paralyzes victims from the waste down when it enters into the blood stream. A similar claw protrudes slightly from the tip of it's tail but it is not easily seen, he is incredibly agile, fast, and strong far whether it is swiftly scaling walls or tearing through steel if it was mere plastic. Simply put he is a creature born to do one thing and one alone, kill, it's paralyzing venom's chemical construct is constantly changing to prevent possible development of an anti-venom.

Personality: Jason is a primal creature and lacks any real personality, he has yet to develop any forms of communication other than basic gestures that communicate the state of it's emotion, however he seems to be capable of understanding the English language and it was discovered that he responded better to the name Jason. No on knows if it is it's actual name or not but it works, also when they first captured him they were discussing weather to keep him locked away or just kill it right off right outside his cell. Needless to say he was less than happy, Jason began to lash out and very nearly pryed open the cell door's from brute strength alone and ever since then they were forced to invest in a sturdier material to keep him contained.
Fears: Water, for some reason he avoids it like the plague, some have speculated that a near death experience involved with water during his human life is to blame, others say it is simply because the creature cannot swim at all.
Cell: A10
Likes: Smooth Jazz music was discovered to calm him very easily and soothed Jason to sleep in place of heavy sedatives that seemed to have no effect on him.
Weakness:Water
History: Not much is known about his past, scientist are unable to trace him with DNA samples as no part of his original DNA remain. Jason was captured after many weeks of tracking and several casualties, he was found asleep in the sewers of New York city were there was an unusual spike in deaths that all came back to the public as " freak accidents " to cover up the true nature of their deaths. Victims were often found torn literally limb from limb, or with the stomachs completely tore out, the worse part is that none of the bodies appeared to chewed at all which meant the creature was not killing for food at all. It killed simply to kill.

So begins...

In the cell next to them the creature began to stir from it's long slumber, it's hearing was impeccable making it difficult to sleep with such an uproar in the next cell, they kept him in this cell in complete solitary confinement for no one was safe from it's perpetual blood lust. At the top of his cell was a heater built into the wall to keep the cold blooded creature warm, though the icy mutant was in a different cell completely her influence over the air's temperature was far reaching though it only gave his room and others a slight chill, it didn't effect him as much as a natural reptilian creature but the cold did irritate him and the last thing they wanted was to put him in a violent state so for their own safety they included a small heater to keep his room at a constant temperature. Many of the other mutants often complained about this but there was nothing they could really do about it, even if they could get the opportunity to destroy it none would really take the risk of entering his room for all the power their mutations gave them amounted to nothing in the face of a potent paralyzing venom, many shuddered at the thought of watching themselves being torn apart by his claws while unable to defend themselves.

As he rose from the ground on all fours he opened his gruesome mouth and let out threatening hissing noise as his oily black saliva dripped from his frightful fangs, though there was no view of the sky to judge the time of the day his instinctive internal clock told him this was not the time of day he usually awakes and he wanted nothing more than them to quite down so he could resume his rest, the creature crawled over to the wall that separated his cell from theirs and placed his palm firmly against it's surface. None understood this practice but it is speculated that this kind of contact allowed him to sense the presence of others when they cannot be seen, another peculiar thing is the fact that the creature never attempts to simply break through the walls themselves, it has shown that it has the strength to break through solid metal with enough time. For this reason alone do they keep him in a regular cell instead of a suspended one, otherwise they would have no choice but to lock him up in one so he would simply fall to his death if he tried to escape, but oddly enough no attempts have been made after the first hen they had first captured him. Jason let out another threatening hiss, this time while close to the wall so it would be more clear that it was directed at them and not just him making in-discriminant noises.

Wynter
Dr. Dragon met eyes with Seoul and Wynter tensed up, eyes turning green grey with a flash icy blue.
"You, come with me." Dr. Dragon grabbed Seoul's arm and yanked him out of the room, slamming the door and leaving Wynter sick to her stomach.

Calla
The door opened and Calla didn't bother look over shoulder. She knew right away it was Dr. Dragon. Her singing voice carried on.
"Come away little lamb
Come away to the slaughter
To the ones appointed to see this through
We are calling for you
We are coming for you"
when her hand was yanked she looked to see the blurry outline of a woman, Coraline Snapdragon to be exact. Clutched in her second arm was a boy probably only a year younger than her. His eyes were a bright yellow and seemed to glow straight through into her handicap sight. The color...it was the first color besides blurred blues that Calla had seen for a year. She couldn't help herself; she reached out and poked him in the eye, then drew back to think for a moment. "What color are my eyes?" Calla asked in a hush voice before Dr. Dragon pulled them along through several hallways. Up ahead she heard the hissing of the reptilian creature that lived beside her and stiffened. How had they moved him silently? Calla and the boy were thrust into a large room with Twisting white walls; a maze. Inside this maze lurked a lizard that would probably kill them. Calla shifted her hair away from her face which revealed her cloudy eyes. "I can get us through here, can you trust a blind girl?" Calla held out her hand.

Jason resided in a small chamber at an opposite entrance to the maze, the last thing he remembered laying his head back down to sleep after being woken by the mutants in the cell right next to his and now he awakes once more to an even smaller pitch black chamber, of course it wasn't much of a problem as his eyes easily penetrated the darkness. This chamber was very familiar to him, several times before he awoke to find himself in this chamber, then he would be released into a winding maze were he would meet his his prey. They are always already confused after being forced into the maze itself but once they heard the his condemning hiss the panic would set it, before long they would find themselves all split up in the large maze and that is when he made his move taking them out one by one, to his amusement by the end of it he found there was no consequence for the killing. He never understood why they allowed him to kill like this, for a sick game? Or maybe to test the other mutants, whatever the case may be all that mattered to him is his opportunity to kill freely.

Jason placed the palm of his hands against the wall and sat there for several minutes, sure enough on the other end of the maze mutants were being brought it but this time he sensed they were more familiar ones, why if he wasn't mistaken it was the noisy ones from the cell next to his. His tongue covered in oily black saliva slowly licked the wall from the bottom up, as if he could already taste the blood and the fear of his new prey, sure enough as he did this that very wall in front of him opened up slowly. He placed one clawed hand out slowly just to check if it was safe, he learned to never trust the crafty human scientist, when finally he concluded that it was safe to exit his confinement he rushed out and began scaling the walls with amazing stopped. It only took a couple visits to this maze to memorize every turn there was and he immediately began heading towards his prey's starting point, he did not plan on killing them yet but once he made it clear to them just how easily and quickly he could find them in the maze they will be thrown into a pit of fear and confusion that would hopefully cause a divide. Once they were off on their own he would then take his sweet time tracking each of them down once again.

Wynter
"You know what else, Lilly? Animals don't hesitate to take a humans life." She gestured for Lilly to get behind her when she heard the help from the machine mutants.
"Knew it, half-pin barrels, they must have had budget cuts... Locks, same kind, keypad and card, single lock..." One said thoughtfully.
"Okay, this is simple. Find some way to lift the door out of it's hinges, then you shouldn't need to worry about the lock and he will likely be in Labrynth testing, I saw it on the schedule, though, you do realize that this is only a one time thing, and you'll likely be punished afterwards, even if you don't get to your friend." Wynter had a rare, malicious grin as she focused very hard. The ice crept to the bottom of the door and she made a fast motion that shot the ice up and the door off its hinges. There was a guard outside and Wynter punch him in mouth, effectively knocking him out as well as shattering his skull. She wanted to kill more, but she stopped herself so she wouldn't get blood lust.
"Shall we go my lady?" Wynter smiled at Lilly.

Calla
The monster moved through the maze and seemed to be anticipating their arrival.
"Don't leave me, if you do then you'll die. In this maze lurks a lizard mutant trying to kill us, it will try and get us separate so he can pick us off one by one. The monster was so loud, Calla could practically see him. The boy that was brought in with her seemed to be shaking the slightest.
"Please don't scream again."

Jason grew ever closer to his targets and he knew it, he could taste them in the air and feel it in his bones and in the darkness of the maze they would not be able to see leathery black scaled body, the only thing that would stick out was his bright eyes but that was a problem easily solved simply by closing his eyes for he did not need them to find his prey. As the initial over excitement died out he began to focus on the stealth aspect of the hunt, though most were inexperienced prey that did not stop them from being able to hear, fortunately he was an experienced killer and it was very easy for him to keep up his quick pace without making the slightest of noise as his palms touched the wall's surface one by one. The blood lust in the air was almost palpable, from were he was he could already hear some indistinct chatter as they were most likely trying to find a strategy of escape, whatever they were up to they were already better than the last group which panicked the moment the were locked into the Labyrinth. After several minutes silently stalking through the maze he climbed to the top of the large walls that were two high to scale for humans and from there he was able to see them, a young girl with red wavy hair stuck out the most among them and she looked more at ease than the rest of them, almost as if she knew something the others did not.

He reared back his head and let out a horrible screeching noise that was crossed between a roar and the hiss of a snake so they would know that he was close, the sound would reverberate off the many walls of the maze making it seem like the it came from all around them. Immediately after he climbed down from his position as to not risk being spotted for even if they couldn't see him well he would not risk any of them just so happening to look up at that very spot,he then began moving in closer proximity of them in case even one of them reacted how he wanted and ran off to desperately search for an exit.

Calla
The hostile roar of the lizard man echoed through the labyrinth; she caught sight of him as he roared atop the walls. He would never know that she saw him because of her crossed eyes that could never make contact. Through the slight tremors of vibrations on the ground and his acrid scent Calla could tell exactly where the lizard was; she wasn't scared at all, the boy with her, however, was a very different story.

Wynter
At Lilly's cue Wynter headed off to the door of cell A10 and noticed disgusting black liquid leading away in a trail down the hall. She followed the trail and also felt for slightly warm spots in the air. To her, every person's body temperature has a signature, almost like a scent. This tactic revealed a second person was with Seoul but it was a very hard and complicated way to track someone so she stayed with following the black ooze.

Lilly stared at the humungous white door. Maybe she was just small, but it seemed to grow and grow from where she stood. She was about 70% sure that it lead to the Labyrinth as she had followed some scientists talking about a mutant with an extreme fear of water and a blind one. They must have picked up someone else too. They said they were going to watch them scream as they were torn limb from limb... Lilly shuddered at the thought of the screams.

If she burst in and it wasn't the Labyrinth, she was going to be in trouble.. She might even have to kill someone and she didn't want to do that. Either way, she needed to do it quietly. If there was a beast in there, noise could startle it and summon an attack out of self defence. Placing her hands on the wall, she felt the hard, smooth surface bubble and wilt away. The acid slowly infected the door, weaking the inside.

Finally, her hands burnt straight through, leaving two holes for her to see inside. SCIENTISTS! She held her breath, praying to god they hadn't noticed. They seemed to be watching something through a glass window. Wait, was that...? Cat-kid! She dared to continue breathing. They were too consumed in their sick games to notice her. Probably. She recognised Dr. Dragon, though, laughing at Seoul and some other blind woman they had added to the equation. Then something blocked her view of Seoul and the woman.

She gasped. Some kind of.. lizard thing... Bringing herself to look back at the scientists in the room it's self...

..They were all staring at her.
Whoops.

Calla
In the distance she could barely make out the figure of a small girl, probably close to her own age, and all the scientist were turning away from the observation deck to look at her. Calla didn't want the girl to get hurt so she thought of making a distraction; but what could she do? Her own scream hurt her ears, but what were her other options? She went with the scream, her scream was blood curdling that would give anyone chills and make them tremor. As soon as she closed her mouth Calla dragged the boy that was with her farther into the maze, but in a different direction than the lizard beast. Silently Calla sung to herself to make keep herself at ease.

Wynter
The black ooze led to a large door and Wynter wasn't sure if she wanted to enter. She had heard all the awful sounds the lizard man had made and how big he seemed from his racket. The door could probably be easily opened if she tried, yet Wynter didn't want to go inside. Ashamed of herself, she ran in a random direction; hoping to find Lilly or just escape.

Calla
"RUN!" But Calla was already running with her hand locked around one of the boy's arms. The boy seemed to grasp the situation and started running faster than her.
"I know how to get out this way!" Calla shouted, the boy didn't listen and kept going his own way so she followed him until they slammed into a dead end. The cold, slithering sound of a hiss came from behind them, it was quiet and probably accidentally slipped out of the creatures jaws from the joy of getting to his prey. Calla could see the outline of him as she turned around but in the maze where everything looked the same, it was hard to pinpoint where the lizard was because he blended around in her blue shadow and made almost no sound; any roar he made hurt Calla's ears too much. His acrid smell stretched to every inch of the maze making scent impossible. So maybe...she was blind.
"Hey, boy, find a way to set the sprinklers off and then I can get us out of this brawl. FYI I don't care if you're afraid of water. There might be a valve somewhere up top, I can't tell exactly.... Just find a way!" Calla begged, hoping the boy wouldn't say he would not leave her side because she was blind. He didn't seem like that type though...

Wynter
Her running led her back in the cell where Wynter discovered they had left a mutant behind. It was the canine girl, just sitting there calmly.
"I'm not sure what I've done to offend my cellmates exactly." she said absentmindedly.
"I'm so sorry! You're so quiet...I don't deserve your help but can you come with me to save my friends? I'm so ashamed of myself, I got cold feet and didn't enter the maze. I need to have a friend with me..." A few tears slid down her cheek as Wynter begged the canine girl.

They were narrowly able to evade his first lung but it was hardly a victory for they were doing almost exactly what he wanted them to do, even though the girl seemed to have her wits about her even in the impossible situation she was thrown into her feline partner was not, they both took off down the first hall that was closest to them and the chase was on. He watched in the direction they were headed and instead of taking off after them he began scaling the walls once more and took a different rout that would inevitably lead them right back to him, of course they would make the mistake of assuming they had lost him within the maze and would eventually try and stop to get their baring while they had the chance. things went every bit as according to plan as he could have hoped for, every single turn they made he was there watching and stalking, every turn they made he was right next them only separated by the maze wall which he could climb over very easily at any moment.

That however would have made this game of cat and mouse far too simple so he continued keeping pace with them until finally they made that last turn, a turn he that with his knowledge of the maze knew was leading them to an abrupt dead end. With that their game was begging to look as if would be coming to a swift end. He could hear the girl muttering on the other end of the wall, no doubt trying to come up with a plan but he wasn't exactly interested, he simply continued on into the maze until it lead him right back to the very wall they were stuck behind. He began scaling that wall with movements so silent it was as if he was weightless, just as he was high enough to put his hand over the wall he grabbed on the the top of it and jumped over to land behind them just as silently as he moved, blocking their way out of the dead end which lay before them. The cat boy was probably to busy notice the creature dropping in immediately but he knew the girl would, she was obviously considerably more observant than the boy and was probably expecting him to show up soon now that they were cornered. Now came the most tense part of the hunt, with no way of knowing their mutant abilities or the extent in which they can control them he knew better than to just go charging in for the kill, although it was safe to say that if they had any offensive skills they would have made an attempt to stand their ground before fleeing. Jason just stood their crouched down on all fours, watching them through his menacing reptilian eyes, waiting for them to make a move.

((Sorry, addictive to the mentalist so my posts might be a little slow.))
Calla
The beast had them covered and all Calla could see was his vague outline; it wasn't enough to fight him with. The intense stare burned into her as the beast waited for her move; but she really couldn't do anything but... rebel. Calla sat down on the floor and looked in the direction where she saw vague outlines of clustered people.
"Great, now you'll never know how I survived because I can't defend myself!" She yelled with a scowl on her face. The boy was on his own now, Calla had made her decision.
"They don't own me
I'm not a piece in their game
Can't control me
They're the only ones to be blamed
I'll never breakdown" She sung to herself quietly, waiting for her death.

Wynter
What was once a girl was now a vicious hound standing in front of her. It looked like a hassle to turn into.
"Doesn't that...hurt?" she asked gingerly.
