[My History]
Calypso was born into a fairly average household. Her father was a police officer and her mother stayed at home, taking care of her and her adopted brother. During high school, she was never the most popular girl. She was constantly picked on and being used because she never knew how to stand her grounds. But that quickly ended when she hit senior year. She was sick of being treated the way she was by the other students so she finally chose to stick up for herself. Ever since that's how she was. After a while everyone started to back off, giving her space to be herself and not bother her.

But once she met Hunter, her entire life changed for the better. She fell in love with the first man she ever dated in her life and soon after, married him. She was hoping to one day sit down with him to talk about having kids, but before she had the chance the world was taken over by zombies. There was no way she wanted to bring a child into the world like this. That would just be a horrible way for her kids to live.

So begins...

Calypso sat on the ground, leaned against a tree in the middle of nowhere just watching her husband going on about his own business. There was no denying how terrified she was about how the world had changed as if it were overnight. There were deadly toxins in the air, constantly having to fight for their lives. Things were all so different now. Most of the human race were either dead or turned into zombies, feeding on the flesh of other human beings. Just a single bite and you would be dead and infected.

The female sighed as she felt her stomach growl. "Babe, is there any food left?" she questioned as she slid her hand through her greasy, dank blonde locks. It's been two weeks since she had a shower, since she wore clean clothes. Though she had a feeling it would be much longer before she was able to take a shower and get cleaned up.

Hunter grumbled to himself as he planned their future actions. Above all plans was the constant thought that he need to protect and care for his wife, Cal was his main priority above as else. Throughout his pacing Hunter would always sneak glances at his wife or around the area. At the moment they were in the forest, Cal leaning against a birch tree watching him pace and talk to himself. He listened as she asked for food and nodded his head before kneeling down to the duffel bag he had grabbed before they ran. They only grabbed whatever canned or packaged items they had in their pantry which wasn't alot since it was that every same day they had planned to go grocery shopping. Hunter hadn't gone into any towns yet wanting to get to his hunting cabin before they started gathering supplies, they needed a safe place to live.

"Yeah here" he replied handing Cal a box of half empty granola bars. Glancing down at the duffel Hunter took note that they only had a few cans of food, 5 dried noodle packages and another box of granola bars left. They had water still Hunter having gathered rain water from the recent storm only a couple days back. Taking another glance around Hunter sighed, wishing they had taken the truck when they left home, but the house had been surrounded and Hunter and Cal had to sneak through the back. It pissed him off that all this happened, he had some many plans for their future, his new career had just started and only those weeks ago Hunter had yearned for a baby. But now he was unsure, he didn't want to bring a child into such a dangerous world.

"We should get moving, the cabin isn't that far now and then we can really start surviving. There's a town only a few hours walk from the cabin. I can hotwire a car and being it back then we can start going to stores at start gathering supplies" Hunter informed his wife before grabbing their bags and waiting patiently for his wife.

Calypso sighed as she took the box of granola bars from her husband and went to open one when she heard him saying they should get moving again. She stood to her feet, placing the granola bars back into the duffel bag her husband carried as she took a bite from the one she had unwrapped. The pain in her body once again catching up to her. She has never had to be this active in her life, it was definitely taking a toll on her. Everything hurt, but she knew there was no use in complaining about it. Calypso had to suck it up and take it like a big girl. Besides, she didn't need Hunter worrying about her any more than he already was. She slid her left hand into her husband's, holding onto it with tender love and care. This was her way of feeling safe as they made their travel through the many yards from home to the cabin. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago that she had her worst fear realized.

Though just as she thought nothing could get any worse, it started to rain. It wasn't a big deal until the wind picked up, blowing her hair all over the place, making it hard for her to see and the thunder and lightening started. Every time she heard the thunder crack or the lightening strike, she would jump a bit. Ever since she was a kid she was never really a big fan of storms and it made it worse that she was out in the middle of one. If she wasn't careful she would probably be struck by lightening.

"How much longer to the cabin?" she questioned as she stepped over a huge log that looked as if it had been there for a couple years without being bothered.

Calypso nodded her head at his words and smiled when he pulled her close to him. She sighed a bit as she felt her legs beginning to get tired and once again feeling hungry. She knew she had to keep the food able to last at least through the night and the morning. Tomorrow they could probably raid the grocery stores to get some more if they needed to. But right now all she wanted to do was get to the cabin and relax and get out of these wet clothes.

Before she knew it they were able to see the cabin not too far from where they stood. Though she didn't expect her husband to lift her up into his arms and toss her over his shoulder and began running the final distance to the cabin. She laughed a bit as she wrapped her right arm around his neck, holding on so he wouldn't accidentally drop her.

Once they arrived on the porch of the cabin she listened to his words and immediately dig through one of the bags to get a gun just to be safe. The blonde continued to scan the area as she waited for Hunter to find a way for them to get inside their cabin. As she waited, she could hear Hunter fumbling around, looking for a way to get inside. Finally the door opened and she stepped inside and sat down on the couch. She watched as he proceeded to lock the doors and windows along with closing the curtains.

Calypso let out a soft sigh as she waited to be accompanied by her husband after he turned the generator on. She glanced over at him and smiled when he gave her the kiss. "I just hope we'll be able to sleep through the night," she stated. She folded her arms over her stomach and looked over at him with a serious look on her face. "We need to talk," she started.

"Before this outbreak today I was going to tell you but now that we're not as busy, it was now or never...I found out I was pregnant today," she stated to him with a sigh. "I just don't know what to do Hunter. I don't want to bring a child into this world. What kind of life would the baby have when all we're doing is running from zombies and fighting to survive?" Calypso shed a couple tears. The last thing she ever wanted to do was have an abortion, the child was her's whether it was already born or not. She didn't want to murder her own baby.

It's been almost ten hours since the last time she was able to spend time with her family before they were all infected with the toxins that were now free within the air. She was now alone, with nowhere to go, no one to talk to, hardly anything to eat. The brunette made her way through the woods with her bag over her shoulders and a gun at hand. She was never taught how to use a gun, but she sure as hell would use it if she needed to. The crying brunette found herself tripping over a branch in the woods just as the storm made it harder for her to see. Within the next couple of hours, she was embraced in darkness.

It didn't take much longer for her to come up on a cabin that was just outside the woods. It seemed as if someone had already been, there but at this point she didn't care. Cheyenne found herself wandering around outside the cabin, trying to find a way in. Once she found herself in front of the back door, she knocked, hoping to find someone answering, even if it wasn't anyone she knew. Cheyenne was never the kind of girl to be left alone. Every time she is alone, she begins to panic and even begin crying. Though now, she was more than alone, she was abandoned by her family and all because of this stupid toxin that was freed into the air.

Cheyenne's father left her for dead when he heard about this and left with his fellow agents of the government to the opposite side of the world. America was doomed and she knew that. She just didn't understand why her father didn't take her when she was the only one in her family who wasn't infected by this stupid disease. When no one came to the door she quickly ran through the rain and stepped onto the front porch and knocked again. The brunette tried to look into the windows, but noticed that they were all covered up by curtains and the blinds were also closed.

"Hello! Is anyone inside? she called out, hoping she would be heard over this treacherous storm. Though just after she called out, she was accompanied by a zombie. The petite female held her gun up towards the thing, her hands shaking with fear, hoping she would be able to shoot the thing without hurting herself in the process. Cheyenne pulled the trigger, firing a bullet, but the first one managed to ricochet off a tree and bounced back, hitting her in the leg. She dropped to her knees and fired another, finally shooting the zombie in the forehead, causing him to drop to the ground officially dead...hopefully.

She dropped the gun to her side and cupped her wound with her hands, once again calling out for someone, hoping they were around. If someone was inside this cabin, she didn't want to barge in and be shot at if they thought she was a zombie or some raging animal.

ImageIt had been a long day for Nova.
Morning had begun with a rude awakening: a blaring burglar alarm and about four and two thirds of zombie. She'd managed to not die, which was, as always, quite convenient, but a bunch of the undead bastards on the horizon meant she had to pack up and move out, as well as bid goodbye to the great, abandoned manor that had been her hangout for the past three days. It was a shame, what with the burglar alarm there to warn her of incoming murder machines, that she had to bid the place adieu, but in a way, she was kind of relieved. The place, with its creaky frame and its empty halls, had been starting to creep her out.

She had only encountered one zombie since then, when she was raiding convenience stores for cans of food and medical supplies. He had been chewing on the body of... well, she wasn't exactly sure what. By that point its corpse was mangled enough, and, to be honest, she didn't really care to know. With the baseball bat that she kept slung over her back, tied in the same cord as the sawn-off shot gun next to it, she did what she'd recently had an awful lot of practice in. She smashed its head in.

Next? A clothing change. Shopping was so much easier now that money wasn't a necessity. No endless pondering. No worrying that it might be a little too expensive. Nope. Just grab what you want and go. Slipping off her bloodied, pale blue singlet, she replaced it with a dark green one, sliding her familiar and precious leather jacket over the top as she shoved some fresh clothes into her backpack.

As she left the store, Nova smirked slightly to herself. You know, this day is actually going pretty we-
Crash. Rain. Nova glanced up at the sky, eyes narrowed in an expression that clearly said, 'Seriously?' before sighing and shrugging her back over her shoulder.

Another stop at the convenience store had left her with an umbrella, and, as she wandered through the woods, she reached a hand out from beneath its cherry-red dome. The droplets of rain kissed at her fingertips, falling quickly and eagerly, bubbling in her palm. She sighed once more, and kept walking.

As pleasant as it was, it was also cold. Really cold. Nova hugged her jacket closer as she scanned the woods for somewhere, anywhere, to get shelter. Her eyes lit up when she caught a glimpse of something in the distance. House?

A cabin. And someone was outside it. Nova's eyebrows furrowed, and her hand slid to her back, pulling she shotgun from its makeshift holster. However, before she could do anything, the girl revealed herself as human, and shot a zombie that had suddenly appeared in the corner of Nova's vision.

Well, she did shoot it. But not the first time. The first time... missed. As the zombie fell, Nova approached the trembling teenager, who clasped her leg in a feeble attempt to stop the flow of blood...

And burst out laughing.

"Nice shooting, Ace."
