Personality

Heavily sarcastic and critical of others, she has the capacity to be kind to others but rarely expresses anything other then contempt towards people. She feels that cryptids are much more intelligent then most humans and would far prefer to study them alone then engage in any social activities with other people. Reclusive to the point of not wanting family members in her home Lucy is an oddity among the people of her city and was heavily shunned as a child. This has caused most of her negative attitudes towards people, though she does find the company of other Cryptozoologists bearable.

Equipment

Whatever clothes are on sale, she doesn't have a specific fashion or article of clothing, thankfully she has an eye for color and her outfits never clash color-wise. She always wears her gold chain necklace wherever she goes, it was a gift from her professor.

History

Lucy was an odd child. From the start she was interested in strange creatures, anything considered "unusual" caught her attention. Her family nurtured this passion, not able to see how it could possibly cause Lucy any harm. When she began to delve into the world of creatures of lore however, her family began to worry. For one thing it didn't seem ordinary for a healthy 11 year old to be talking excitedly about Nessie or the Abominable Snowman, what made it infinitely worse was how she told everyone at school who would listen to her about the "frightening yet real creatures that most people never even knew about". It quickly became apparent that other children avoided her and she soon was shunned by her peers, left out of all social activities, and cruelly ridiculed behind her back and to her face. This caused a deep seated resentment of people to grow and fester in Lucy's heart, and she turned more and more to her hobby.

Lucy graduated top of her class but quickly applied for Cryptozoology classes where she earned her degree. Now Lucy is looking forward to working closely with the so-called "monsters" on the island.
