Ever since the AV Club was formed Andrew has always felt like a protective figure over the others. He will stop at nothing to protect those he loves, no matter the consequences that are in turn inflicted on himself. In a sense its almost made him a leader of sorts, and it sort of stuck.
At times the boy can be quite brooding or intimidating, and maybe a little hot-headed but on the inside Andy is a complete softie. He might not be the most obvious shoulder to cry on, but Andrew is always there for whoever needs it.
Deep down, Andy is a secret romantic. Little bit of an idealist, a total sentimental dreamer, imaginative and fanciful when you really get to know him. It's almost embarrassing. It also makes him very competitive when he likes someone and and goes after their affection. He's actually very connected with his emotions, and even though he can be a little annoying sometimes isn't too impulsive with the things he does, even if it seems like it.
