It doesn't matter all that much that Benedict was adopted, and is not the biological son of his very famous parents, because it happened when he was an infant. His biological parents died only a few weeks after his birth, and so he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, known as one of the A-list couples in both the UK and America. His father was an actor who had been known as a major heartthrob in his younger days, and to this day continues to get the hearts of his generation's women beating. Benedict Aaron Daniels Sr. married beloved British Pop Star Renee Daniels nee Tyler when he was in his mid twenties. Renee had been famous since her childhood, and had adapted better than most child stars. Her stability, charm, and undeniable status made her irresistible to a young actor still adjusting to his own fame. These are the people who raised Ben, and are the reason that his childhood was filled with flashing cameras, seeing his own face on the TV, and friends who were constantly pestering him to let them meet his parents. He became used to getting what he wanted from most everyone, and while this didn't make him rotten, it certainly spoiled the young man quite a bit. On another hand, though, he became cynical. People were constantly trying to befriend him in order to get to his parents, and he knew that. More than one friend found themselves meeting the cold shoulder once his tolerance for such things dried up, and he preferred to surround himself with peers of similar status. He's had classes for the guitar, the piano, singing, acting, horseback riding, tennis, Tae Kwon Do, and a few other things. Benedict Aaron Daniels Sr. // Benedict Sr. originally appeared in British productions, but soon became popular in Hollywood films as well. His name is well known around the world, although he has gone from the bad boy heartthrob of his youth to a more settled sort of man. Still, he is the object of admiration for millions worldwide. He loves his son dearly, but has occasionally worried that Junior is negatively affected by the fame of his wife and him. Still, the two get along well, and Senior has always made an effort to try and make time for his children. He treats Jr. as his own son, for he knows that it what his brother, Ben's biological father, would have wanted. As if to indicate this, he is the one who opted to change Ben's name when they adopted him.
Renee Elaine Daniels nee Tyler // Unlike her husband, Renee started in the entertainment world early on. She became a famous singer when she was only fifteen after wowing a talent scout at an audition her mother had taken her too. Despite having grown up with fame, Renee is surprisingly down to earth, and knows very well the fate she escaped that many child stars meet. She thanks her parents for that, and does her best to be for her children what her parents were for her. That being said, she has been known to be a bit soft on them, and is the primary source of spoiling for the Daniels' siblings. She does try to remind them to be grateful for the life they have, even though they might not always listen.
Willow Daniels // Biologically, Willow is Ben's cousin, but anyone who sees them interact would place them as very close siblings. Willow is currently 10 years old, and the age gap between the two siblings is perhaps the source for Ben's great affection for his younger sister. He babies her, and spoils the girl more than his mother does. Despite being babied, Willow is sharp as a tack, and it is difficult to forget this when she says things that would seem better placed coming out the mouth of a forty year old than a ten year old. Ben looks forward to the day when he gets to begin scaring away her potential suitors.
