Zoey looked out the window as they took the very very long drive out to L.A. It didn't seem as long as a drive mostly because she was sleeping the whole time but when they started getting close she noticed a lot of differences. It's hard to remember something from 8 years ago. The houses were big and shiny unlike from Arizona where everything was so... charming. She loved looking at the palm trees, that was one thing she had always loved about Los Angeles. She saw some cute boys but was more interested in their skate boards. She heard there were lots of skate parks here and couldn't wait to go try out her new wheels she got before they left. As they took the exit off the highway she listened to the "Top 40". Payphone came on and she opened her window. She started thinking about her old friends and her old life.

When they turned on the street, she recognized some things. She recognized the park with the dinosaurs, the school with the coolest playground ever and the weird house that kept a bunch of flamingo's on the lawn. When they turned onto 'Flett Drive' she smiled. Chloe lives 3 blocks from here! We might take the same bus! She thought. Her sister was the first thing that popped into her mind when her father had mentioned L.A. She was happy she'd get to see her sister again but she gave her dad the silent treatment for the ride. Zoey stayed in the car as her father jumped out. She didn't feel like moving things right away, she wanted to sleep.

"Common hun, you gotta help move some stuff" Her dad pleaded. Not that he needed the help, more that it would keep her busy. Zoey hopped out of the truck and started grabbing boxes. That day was pretty uneventful except for at dinner. They went out to Wendy's but when they got back home Zoey asked to go for a walk. It was around 7pm and she started walking. The park they always used to go was still there and with improvement. Then she got to Chloe's house or well her old house. When she walked up the steps she started to chicken out but once she pressed the doorbell it was too late. She stood there awkwardly waiting for her twin to open the door. I wonder what she looks like now... She thought but then realized she's stupid. They are twins.

((Sorry it's so long, I wanted a good intro))

Chloe was sitting at the dining table with her English books spread over the entirety of the flat surface. Her essay, due two weeks from today, sat half finished and to the side as she jotted down a few quotes with page numbers from the book she was currently reading as an extra assignment.

When the doorbell rang, she hardly moved as she expected to hear her mother answer it. Of course Chloe had forgotten her mother was working the late shift at the hospital again tonight. Remembering this, she leapt up from her chair and ran to the door to pull it open and see who was outside.

Boy, was she ever surprised to see her identical twin sister Zoey standing on her porch.

" Zo?" The younger twin asked, her green eyes wide in surprise as she kept her jaw from dropping through the floor. " What are you doing here?" She glanced past her sister to see if their father was nearby. It didn't appear to be so.

" Come on in but you better explain," Chloe added quickly, holding the door open wider to allow her sister to come in.

She walked in, checking out her old home. Mom had done a lot of redecorating. "I... Well... I moved here! I moved about three block away, you know on Flett Drive?" She smiled. She loved seeing that surprised look on her sisters face, even though it was the same as her surprised face. "I see you've done some... home improvements?" Zoey laughed. She knew Mom always had a fashionable eye, and this house was simply fabulous. She stood there awkwardly taking off her shoes as she walked further into the big house.

" Yeah, I know Flett Drive," Chloe said easily, getting over the initial shock of her sister appearing at her door after 8 years. She closed the door behind her sister, her thoughts going a mile a minute as she stepped around her twin and turned to face her. " Want a tour of the new and improved Best household?" Chloe asked with a smirk, " We renovated the place a few years ago. I think you'll love it."

She gestured around the living room and adjoining dining room, ignoring the books scattered over the table. " Mom took my opinions into account, of course. Besides, it's not like we can't afford it." Chloe smiled as she glanced around the very familiar room, actually quite pleased with how it had turned out. " Come on, I'll show you," she said before adding, " Oh, by the way, how's Ron?"

"Oh he's fine. I gave him the silent treatment for taking me away from my friends" Zoey laughed. Now that she thinks of it, the silent treatment is so dumb. "He's still single, though he has had 2 girlfriends... What about Marge?" she asked. Zoey had always called her mom, she didn't really know what her real name was until they moved. Margaret. What a horrid name to be stuck with. Zoey had always wished her name was Chloe. Just the mere elegance to it was pretty, unlike the harsh Zoey. She put her hand through her hair as they went downstairs. "And this is my room" Chloe smiled.

It was everything Zoey had ever imagined. The room was big and had fancy furniture. It was clean and gorgeous. She smiled remembering her old room. It was small but it worked. She walked on the white carpet, Why is it so soft?! She thought. "I love your room" Zoey was always a suck up. Not intentionally unless she was late for class or something. "So hows school, is there any kids I might remember?" She asked sitting down on the bed.

" I did that to Margaret for the first year," Chloe said lightly, sensing her sister's discomfort and realization. " Then I gave up and we started renovations and, as an apology, she let me do whatever I wanted to my room... I stole the entire basement." She laughed as she took Zoey down the stairs to show her her bedroom first thing. " But that's alright I guess. I mean, seriously, that's good for him." With a shrug she added, " Margaret has been constantly single... I swear she would marry the hospital if she could since she's there often enough to be living there anyway."

Her lips turned up into a grin, " Meaning I'm always here by myself and parties are never a problem."

Chloe found her twin's reaction amusing as her eyes scanned her bedroom. Taking in the soft white carpet, the different coloured walls, circular bed and long purple desk that she could have been using for her homework but it was covered in make up and magazines instead.

" I love your room," Zoey said admiringly as she walked over and sat on Chloe's bed. " So, how's school? Are there any kids I might remember?"

The younger twin laughed, saying " I do too," as she walked over to her desk and pulled the chair out. She dropped onto it and put her feet up on her desk, ankles crossed, as she looked over at Zoey. " School is school," Chloe responded with a shrug, " Oh!" She sat up and have the most mischievous smile on her lips.

" Remember Whit? Whitney McDaniels? And Drake Winter?" She barely paused for a response, " They're dating now and have been for a while." She looked over at her sister thoughtfully for a moment before asking, " So you'll be coming to East High then?" The typical nickname for Eastern High School which wasn't the largest school but certainly not the tiniest.

She smiled. Lil' Whit she smiled. "Drake Winter? Really? Didn't he used to tease her a lot?!" She smirked. Of coarse he did. That's a guys way of showing he likes a girl at that age. She looked around the room again, taking it all in. "So who's hot? Who's not? And who are your best friends?" She wanted to feel like she kind of knew what was happening before getting back. "Oh and what sort of parties?" she was thinking pin the tail on the donkey but she guessed, because of the rebellion age, it was making out and drinking parties.

" Yeah, he did." Chloe grinned, " How adorable, right?"

" As for hot... Well, let me think.." She pretended to stroke an invisible beard on her chin, amused by the conversation choice and completely in her comfort zone. " Drake is supposedly the hottest guy in school but he's dating Whit, which kind of makes her one of the most desirable girls. And remember Angelica? Well, Angel and I are still amazingly close but Whit's been off for a while now." Chloe made a face, " She's still my other best friend but she's always with Drake now, sadly."

" And haven't you been to one yet? I mean, seriously, don't they have parties in Arizona?" The blonde shook her long waves out, pulling the over to her right shoulder to drape down the front of her torso. " Drinking, music, dancing.." She listed them off, counting on her fingers. " Not necessarily all of them since not everyone drinks but whatever."

Chloe looked over at her sister, her eyes curious now. " Why? What did you think I meant?"

"I don't know... Just getting together I guess..." Zoey had never been cool or in. but it had never been one of her dreams either. She got up and looked at some of the picture frames. She saw Angelica in a lot but Whitney was always behind. Zoey remembers how she used to get along with White better than Angel. Plus she remembered Angel as not so much of an 'angel'. Angel used to tease her behind Chloe's back, but Zoey never said anything. Then she remembered her old life. Where all her best friends would get together and reenact scenes from Twilight and other great movies. She would always play Bella, being the drama freak she is. Then she remembered her new life. "So how should I make my "grand" entrance?" She smiled. "School is tomorrow and all I have is my Arizona clothes... Maybe you could lend me an outfit?" Zoey smiled. She didn't realize she was "mooching" until Chloe started searching her closet.

" I have the absolute best outfit," Chloe exclaimed with a wink, jumping up and rushing to her enormous closet to find the combination she was thinking of. She pulled
an outfit from her closet, turning to face her sister and to lay out the chosen items on her bed.

" You should wear this," she added as she pulled a navy blue tank top and dark wash jeans with faded spots. A black jacket hung over her pale arm as one of several accessories that went well with the outfit. " I have shoes you can wear too, if you want. Assuming we're still the same size, of course." Chloe laughed, why wouldn't they be after all?

" Anyway, what do you think?" She asked calmly as she turned to the closet again and pulled another outfit from it's dark depths. It was a somewhat short summer dress to which Chloe matched a pair of brown heeled sandals. " I'm planning to wear this."

"That's great!" She smiled. She imagined herself in her head wearing the outfit and walking in. She could see all eyes on her as she walked down the halls. Then again they might all assume she is her sister and... well then she wouldn't know what they'd do... She wondered what her sisters reputation would be.

"Well I actually have to go, Dad probably wants me to unpack some more... So I'll see you tomorrow? At school?" Zo asked. She looked over at the mirror on the wall, it was weird seeing herself and her sister together. It was like seeing double, she laughed for a moment and Chloe laughed too. As Zoey got up and started walking she heard Chloe say something, "It was nice seeing you" She smiled and went back home.

When she got back home she went and found her father. "So which room is mine?" she smiled. Her father looked puzzled, as to where she had been but blew it off. "Here" He said pointing to a room down the hall. Her new house was big, but not humongous like some of the houses on her street. If you could even call them houses, they were like mansions. Her room was bigger than before, maybe even two times bigger! She looked out the windows that stood side by side. I guess It's a fresh start... She thought. It wasn't very dark outside, still being somewhat summer, so she went over the the mattress on the floor and fell asleep.

**FEEL FREE TO POST FROM JUST WAKING UP! REMEMBER IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!**

Whitney awoke to the sound of Shakira "Loca" blasting through her radio. She looked around her bedroom. It was fairly clean, and was the largest room in the whole house. Even her closet, which was made to be a office, was large. She walked into her bathroom. Examined herself in the mirror. Pleased with her appearance she began to get dressed. Deciding on a dress that made her cleavage look amazing if she did say so herself, and her favorite bow heels (her outfit). Then she began on her hair. She didn't want to do anything special, mainly because drake loves it when she wore her hair down in its natural waves. So she decided to just leave it down after brushing and blow drying it. She smiled at the picture of her and drake taped on her bathroom mirror.

Once she was done getting dressed she bounded down her stairs. "I'm leaving," She shouted. She knew her dad was busy in his study probably on the phone with an associate. He was always bust. Way to busy to be with his teenage daughter. So instead of bugging him she grabbed her car keys and headed out.

She loved her car. It was a vintage Cadillac convertible, it took her father months to find it. She wanted one ever since she was a little girl. It was her dream car.Whitney grabbed her bookbag and got in her car. Just as her little sisters ran out the house. Frantically waving to her. She smiled at them as she drove off. About fifteen minuets later she arrived at the school. She waved to a few of her friends as she walked to her locker. Once there she pulled out her phone and sent opened a new message.

From: Whitney

And another to Drake.

Message: Hey hot stuff are you @ school yet? I'm @ my locker

Drake rubbed his eyes, yawning, and rolled over in his bed. He heard his sister knocking on the door, "Get up, sleepy!"

"Go away..." he mumbled. Drake's alarm clock sounded, right on cue, and he threw his warm blankets off and ripped the curtains open. He pulled a pair of jeans and a blue T-shirt out of his dresser, quickly dressing, and stumbled into his bathroom. He blinked at himself in the mirror, then turned on the faucet and splashed his face with cold water. He gave his wild hair a quick brush, so it wouldn't look all wild and tangly, and brushed his teeth. He went back to his overflowing dresser and attempted to hunt down a pair of socks, while pulling on his dark-grey basketball sweatshirt that he knew Whitney loved. He pulled on some sneakers and shoved his phone in his pocket, then ran downstairs to the kitchen.

Drake's house was huge, and the walls and carpets were mostly white, with a few paintings and decorative objects here and there. His mom worked at home, so she did a lot of home renovations. He found his little siblings in the kitchen, Marina chomping on a bowl of cereal and Danny velcro-ing his shoes. Drake grabbed an apple from a nearby bowl of fruit, throwing his textbooks into his backpack haphazardly. He packed some baseball equipment and soccer clothes into his sports bag for the afternoon, throwing it over his other shoulder. "I'm heading out, mom," he called to her in the dining room, "Are Danny and Marina taking the bus? 'Cause I'm taking the other car."

He slammed the door behind him, not waiting for an answer, and hopped into his car, a silver Lexus, pulling out of the long, paved driveway. The drive to school took about ten minutes this early in the morning. Drake parked over by the baseball field, knowing he would have to leave from there at the end of the day anyways. Just as he walked in the door of the front entrance, his phone buzzed in his pocket. It was a text from Whitney. He messaged her back, making his way to her locker. The perfect way to start the day, a morning rendezvous with his gorgeous girlfriend.

To: Whitney ; )

Message: Just got here I'm heading over to say hi <3

From: Drake

" I know," Chloe responded, a smile on her lips as she imagined her twin in the clothes. Probably look pretty similar to how she looked, she thought as she eyed her sisters appearance. Minus those brown eyes and the hair part, they were completely identical.

" Okay, tell Ron I said hi and here." She moved to her desk and picked up a small pad of paper, wrote a few numbers on a sheet and ripped it from the pad to hand it to Zoey. " It's my cell number so you can get a hold of me, but I'll see you at school tomorrow. Sometime." She laughed lightly as her hand pushed the paper into her sisters hand and closed her finger over it. " Give it to Ron too, if he wants." Though Chloe wouldn't complain if her sister didn't, she wasn't close to her father anymore. Not after 8 years of practically no contact anyway.

She mumbled something under her breath as her sister walked up the stairs, listening closely as she heard her put on her shoes and the door open and shut behind her. " See you at school big sis," Chloe said lightly as she changed into her typical pajama's, a large baggy t-shirt, and turned off her light as she walked up the stairs to lock the doors and take her books down to her room. All her belongings safely in her bag, the blonde sighed as she settled into her bed in the dark and played games for a few hours until she fell asleep.



The next morning, Chloe woke up late.. Of course.

Even thought she was late she was calm enough to take her time getting ready. She had a quick shower and dried her hair, straightening her bangs so they wouldn't curl weirdly, then got dressed into her summery dress. As for make-up, mascara and a little bit of dark eyeliner tended to do the trick which Chloe added a thin layer of clear gloss to her lips to make them shine but only after brushing her teeth.

Grabbing her bag, shoving her iPhone inside it, and her keys; she found herself ready to leave the house. She locked the house door behind her as she made her way to her bright blue 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv. She loved her car and found herself humming a soft tune as, with the click of a button, the doors unlocked and she slipped inside and tossed her bag to the passenger seat. A twist of the keys in the ignition and she was off, speeding down the driveway and onto the road.

Chloe found herself at the school not too long after leaving the house, her green eyes glancing to the clock to see she had a good 15 minutes before classes began. Impressed, the teenager parked her car and grabbed her things, stoping only to lock the vehicle again, before slowly walking into the front doors with her phone in her hands. She was checking her messages and read through them quickly before her fingers flew over the screen to respond.

To: Whitney M

Message: Just in time, I'll catch up with you in a few.

From: Chloe B

She shook her head at her text before sending it and glancing around the foyer.

" Hey, Chloe!" People were calling, to which she responded with a smirk and a few winks in the direction of some cute but nerdy boys. They nearly fell over themselves as she walked by them, tossing her hair over her shoulder. " Hey guys," was her only response as she continued on her way.

Whitney giggled as she read Drake's text. She oppened her locker and and looked at herself in a mirror. Quickly aplying lip gloss she looked over her shoulder for Drake. She giggled with excitment. Drake was the only guy who could make her giggle. Just becase she loves him that much. When she saw another text from Chloe she quickly read it before looking for Drake again. A couple of guys waved at her and she waved back.

Drake caught site of Whitney, standing by her locker, waving to a few of her guy friends. He felt an irrational pang of jealousy, that he quickly banished. He never liked it when she talked to other guys, but he couldn’t stop her from making friends.

“Hey, Whit!” he greeted her with a smile and a pulled her into a hug, “Sorry I couldn’t call you last night. I had a soccer game.”

He felt her silky hair against his face and couldn’t help himself from glancing at her beautifully curvy chest. Whitney was his dream girl. Drake only hoped he could live up to her expectations.

Anne and her father, the science teacher, walked into the building about 15 minutes before the bell rang. "Daddy I'm gonna go find Joel. Love you." She kissed his cheek and ran off down the hall. "See you in class sweetie." he called after her. She stuffed her bag in her locker, pulled out her phone, and secretly texted Joel.

To: Joel
Hey pal. Wats up? Stil on 4 tonite at the movies??--<3Anne"

She slipped her phone into her pocket, and grabbed her Chem book for her first block. She walked towards the cafeteria for some last minute breakfast. Up ahead was Chloe, she thought "Chloe! Hey! Wait up!" She ran ahead to catch up to her.

Whitney smiled as Drake's strong arms held her. She spun around and said "I missed you." But before he could respond she kissed him. Wrapping her arms around his neck. She smiled when she broke the kiss off.

"So did you um see Chloe over the summer?" She asked while kissing him gently on the neck. She hated when Chloe made obvious gestures of flirting with him. Drake was her boyfriend, and she would do anything to keep him. No matter what anything was. She gazed at his eyes for reasurance from him. When she looked down she was amused to see that she not only left a hickey on his neck but a couple of coral kiss marks.

Once again interrupting him she said "I heard Zoey, CHloe's twin is back we should say hi." She added lacing her fingers with his.

Zoey woke up to the sun in her face. She looked around her room and at first she thought she had been robbed. One thing for sure, they took her alarm clock. She checked her phone and it was 9:56! She rushed and tore open one of the moving boxes marked"clothes". Taking out her shoes and filling her backpack she put on the clothes she was given the night before. She rushed downstairs and saw her dad cooking eggs. "Dad! I'm already late! how could you let me sleep in!" she snapped. Her father gave her a look, and then Zoey put a hand to her face. There's a time zone difference.... she thought. She sat down and enjoyed her fathers marvelous breakfast. "Thanks Dad!" She said giving him a kiss on the forehead.

She headed out the door and looked at her dad's truck, I don't think he'd mind... Just for today... She smiled as she heard the beep of the old vehicle unlock. She hopped in, thinking her vehicle was "cool" and started to drive. Putting the radio station to a "Top 40" channel she turned onto the street of her school. The school seemed a fair size as she put her truck into park. When she walked to the doors a few (a lot) guys winked and started yelling out "Chloe". She just shook it off. She pulled out her phone and decided to text Chloe, because she had put the number in before.

To: Chloe
Hey! I just got to school! everyone keeps calling me... well... you! I have english first with.... Mrs.Whitmee? do you have her? Please! Please! I feel so alone!

As she hit send she walked right into a locker that was opened. As she lay on the floor she saw an couple of people surround her. "Chloe! I'm so sorry!" Whitney yelled. Zoey just looked at the ceiling as even more teens started to surround her. "I'm not Chloe... I'm her twin Zoey... Remember me? Well I kind of don't remember you..." She half smiled as Whitney helped her up. When zoey looked over she saw an oddly familiar face, "Drake? Drake Winter? Is that you?" Zoey smiled up at him. She could never forget those eyes.

Whitney kissed him and asked about Chloe. Of course he’d seen her over the summer, she lived about two blocks from his house! She was always out walking around, enjoying the neighborhood. Before he could respond, he thought he saw Chloe turn and smack face-first into Whitney’s open locker.

“Oh Chloe, I’m sorry!” Whitney exclaimed, helping her up. The girl gladly accepted her help, but said, "I'm not Chloe... I'm her twin Zoey... Remember me? Well I kind of don't remember you..." Zoey looked at Drake for a moment. “Drake? Is that you?” she smiled with warm recognition. Drake didn’t mean to be rude, but he didn't know until now that Chloe even had a sister, and thought it was a little weird that she knew who he was. Well, she must have seen him around. I mean, they did live pretty close by.

“Okay,” he replied confidently, “Zoey. I'll remember you.” He flashed her a friendly smile. “I’ll see you in class, maybe,” he put his arm around Whitney again. He always felt better and more able and confident with his girl by his side. He loved how much she believed in him, even when he didn’t believe in himself.

“So, Whit,” he turned to his girlfriend, “What’s the plan for tonight? After baseball practice, I could swing by your house. I need some help with history. I don’t want to fail the next test too,” he smiled.

Chloe turned as she heard someone calling to her and saw Anne, her long curls streaming out behind her as she ran toward the blonde. She stopped and waited for the other girl to catch up, a warm smile on her lips. " Hey, so what do you have first? Chem?" She'd caught a glimpse of the textbook as she'd asked and decided to tack it on as an afterthought.

Her cellphone vibrated in her hand and she looked down at the screen, laughing at the text she read before texting back. Her fingers flew over the screen, lightly tapping to pick each letter.

To: Zoey B

Message: Maybe because we look so similar ;)
Yeah, Whitmee in room 105 for English.

From: Chloe B

" Sorry," the blonde said lightly as she glanced up from her phone and waved it in the air, " My sister's new here and trying to figure things out. She's practically lost." Chloe giggled, " I'm going to find her, see you later?" The girl smiled and gave a wave as she set off down the hall toward Whitney's locker. After all, she had told Whit she would see her shortly.

" Whitneeeeey!" Chloe called as she came up to the girl, her boyfriend and... Zoey? " Hey Drake, Zo." Her gaze lingered on Drake for an instant before returning to Whitney, " Do you mind if I steal my sister?" She joked with a wink.

Whitney smiled at Drake "Study or study?" She teased

Whitney spun around when she heard the voice of her best friend. "Gawd I missed you," She smiled at her and gave her a quick hug. Before naturally resting against Drake's arm again. She loved that her head fit in perfectly with the crook of his arm. She turned back to Zoey.

"You guys are totally twins I love this!" She said wrapping her arms around Drake, " Double the hottness." She turned to Zoey, "So I hear your in my Dance class?" She flipped her hair out of her face. "It'll be fun long as you can keep up," She joked winking at her. Then she turned to Chloe.

"So um wheres Angel?" Even as she said it she could feel her grip on him tightining. She looked at him for a reaction. When he didn't respond she felt her eyebrow twitch but she hid her annoyance and Jelousy. She tried not to, but she noticed Chloe's eyes linger on him.

Zoey was about to walk away when she heard her own voice, I mean Chloe's voice. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket, assuming it was Chloe she left it there. She turned back to Whitney, "Ya we'll be in the same dance class, you better watch out though, I'm pretty good" Zoey teased, taking out her pony tail. She felt so out of place here. Everyone here knew each other and had their own worlds and relationships made. Zoey would have to make her own story, and try to make it original and not identical like her sister. "Do you guys have English with Whitmee too? Can you give me directions? I'm going to go explore a bit more before class" She smiled as they all nodded and pointed down the hall. "The last room" Drake said with a smile. Zoey smiled back as she walked in the other direction.

She walked in the halls, getting more whistles from guys. She had never really been popular and never ever got attention from guys. She had made the round about of the school so decided to check outside. She was walking through the parking lot when suddenly she bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry" She said as she started picking up the persons stuff. She looked up and saw a guy with dark hair. He recognized her but probably as Chloe. "I didn't know the rumors were true... Chloe does have a twin sister!" He laughed. Zoey smiled too, not knowing if he was joking or serious.

Angelica woke up in her large plush bed. She rolled over under the down comforter and let her hand reach out and turn off the soft music coming from her clock radio. She pulled the sleep mask up to her forehead and sat up. At first she was a bit confused, she quickly remembered that it was the first day back at school. The first day was always the worst, you had just really gotten used to late nights and sleeping in and now you had to wake up bright and early to get ready. Angelica checked her phone quickly for any new texts or notifications. Seeing that she had none, probably because everyone else was just getting up as well, she went and took a quick shower. She dried her hair with a blow dryer and curled it into a simple style that she did often. She then opened her closet and tried to decide what to wear. Once she had settled on a cute but comfortable outfit that fit well with the planned temperature for the day she applied her make up. She went with a simple ring of dark eyeliner and a light pinkish lip gloss that mainly just added some sparkle and shine.

She then headed downstairs for breakfast. Her mother met her at the bottom of the grand staircase. "Love the shoes, hate the jewelery."
"Good morning to you too mother." Angelica retorted rolling her eyes at her mother's comments. She walked down the stairs and walked into their dining room. There was a lot of food laid out on the table but her family rarely touched it. She picked up a muffin from the table and unwrapped it. She broke off little pieces and popped them into her mouth. Once she was done, she quickly went and brushed her teeth before checking the time one more time before heading out to the car for school.

She stepped out of the car and closed the door. She walked up toward the school building without looking back to see the black vehicle drive away. She entered the school and walked toward the spot near Whitney's locker where they always met, it was perfectly situated smack dab in the middle of their lockers. "Hey Girlies, hopefully you haven't had too much fun without me." She said smiling to her friends. "Chlo, I am in love with your dress."

Joel awoke fairly late to his mother shouting at him from the hallway outside his bedroom. He rubbed his eyes and rolled out of bed. He dragged his feet all the way to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face to wake himself up. He quickly jumped in the shower and tossed on a pair of jeans and the first t-shirt he saw. He then ran out into the kitchen. His mother insisted on him eating breakfast but he declined the offer and told her he didn't have time or he would be late. He stuffed his cellphone into his backpack and kissed his mother on the cheek before heading out the door just in time to catch a ride to school with his older brother who was heading out to work.

He didn't even look at his phone until he was at school. He scanned through the messages as he was heading through the front doors. He read the text from Anne and typed out a quick response.

To: Anne

I totally forgot, but sure, sounds good. I'll invite Tia.

He headed to his locker and put his backpack inside on the little hook. He then quickly looked around for Tiana, he couldn't seem to find her anywhere. He took his phone back out and sent her a text as well before shoving his phone into his pocket.

To: Tiana

T, Lemme know when you get here. We have to compare schedules.

He couldn't help but wonder if they would have any classes together this semester. He hoped that they did, it always made class less awful if you had a friend in it, even better when it was one of your best friends.

After being pulled into a hug, Chloe gave another laugh as she listened to Whitney and Zoey's conversation on their dance class.

After a few moments Zoey asked about Whitmee's classroom, to which all the others including Chloe pointed down the hall. " Have fun finding class, Zo," she said over her shoulder as her twin decided to leave the small group to find the class. " See you there," She added loudly.

" So, um, where's Angel?" Whitney asked and Chloe, hearing the hesitation in her friend's voice, turned to look at her with an eyebrow raised. She didn't mention the stumble as she answered, " Probably on her way here to meet us--" The blonde was interrupted as the girl in question came up with a loud, " "Hey Girlies, hopefully you haven't had too much fun without me."

Chloe turned and skipped over to Angelica, hugging her tightly for a second before releasing her, a grin on her expression. " Chlo, I am in love with your dress." She heard as she stepped back and then did a twirl. " Do you? I found it when Margaret took me to Italy for a week," Chloe said cheerfully, typically using her mother's name. " But," she paused in her faux fashion spin to look at the other blonde, dark green eyes sparkling with interest. " I think the pink totally suits you and I love your heels."

Suddenly, typical of Chloe, she lost interest and changed the subject. " Anyway, what classes does everyone have?" Her pink lips turned down in a pout, " I have Whitmee for English first," she muttered as she pulled the small slip of paper from her pocket and unfolded it.

It was in her own handwriting, neat and elegant. The green ink, her favourite colour, read;
