"Who the hell are you?" - Marcus
Youāve done your job well and have watched him at every opportunity, in every situation.
He seems to be a brilliant slacker. A very recent in-depth report card shows that he has passed all the tests with flying colors, but as for the quizzes, the homework, and the participation? Big fat Fās. There are also several complaints about bad language, although no mention of whether or not it was aimed at anyone. From the bits of information youāve gathered from documents and from simply following him, you deduce that he is a very complex and unpredictable person. He seems to have a good sense of humor [depending on his mood] and somehow maintains a friendly yet aloof demeanor. He definitely has anger issues, although itās nothing serious. Just an outburst here and there; no drawn out scenes, no physical violence. He comes off as bluntly rude rather than dangerous.
From what youāve observed, he usually interacts on a āIāll treat you like you treat meā basis, assuming heās not in a mood. If someone has an attitude, he has one right back. If someoneās friendly, heās just as friendly. If heās in a bad mood, he comes off as rude, sarcastic, and full of attitude regardless of how you approach him. Although heās a bit more mature than most teenage boys, opting out of bullying others [unless they provoke him] and getting into unnecessary fights, he definitely has his rebellious moments. If you push him, heāll push back with everything he has. Maintaining the balance that his iffy traits would otherwise have pushed off kilter, he seems to be a true hero. From what youāve seen, every time thereās a cry for help, he comes to the rescue with no hesitation or second thoughts.
Reputation
Based on his interaction with victims and criminals alike, youāve concluded that some know him, some donāt. He is steadily gaining a reputation, but heās not there yet. Some have called him the Delinquent, just based on his personality and sometimes profane language. The name is starting to stick. He seems proud of it.
Powers
This is where things got a little sketchy; he seems to be a very modest person, preferring not to flaunt his abilities. But somehow youāve managed to gain a thorough report on what he is capable of.
Physically, he possesses a baffling amount of flexibility and acrobatic prowess. Heās almost like a cat, far too agile, far too quick to react; he twists and turns effortlessly with the slightest indication of a movement against him. In sports, no one is capable of laying a hand on him when heās on the run. Yet he was also observed body slamming someone twice his size in a heated argument on the field. Youāve seen him turn his head at seemingly nothing, perhaps noises you canāt hear? The suggestion is supported by his extreme discomfort in noisy areas. Trains send him reeling away, it seems like. Logically, you assume that his other senses are just as acute, based on small clues.
It took you a long time to gather the following information. You followed him for weeks until, by pure dumb luck, he came across a super powered villain and proceeded to engage him. At first you thought his power was simply electricity, but it seems more along the lines of electromagnetism. Normal electricity does not cause metal dumpsters to float, nor does it cause a person, super villain or otherwise, to be inexplicably stuck fast to a wall.
Weaknesses
At that point, you were unable to gather more information, because the super villain in question thoroughly drenched Marcus Donato with water. His electromagnetic abilities shorted out and he beat the villain senseless with his bare hands once he recovered. Water seems to be one of his major weaknesses, not only shorting out his electromagnetic powers, but temporarily weakening him physically as well. Despite his acrobatic prowess, he is also susceptible to normal wounds created by normal means, such as cuts, bruises, sprained bones, and concussions.
Unfortunately, he also appears to be easily distracted. This trait causes you to scoff, because a seasoned warrior would not allow that to happen. Sheer inexperience is also a major flaw that can be used against him; in some of the battles that youāve seen, heās been very smart and strategic, yet somehow, he is misled by the most elementary techniques, not to mention making a few ridiculous mistakes of his own. At one point you observed him approaching an āunconsciousā burgler without bothering to check if said criminal was actually out or just pretending. In your opinion, he deserved the beating he got for that.
Strengths
His greatest strength lays in his ability to observe his opponent and then change his strategy accordingly, a skill partially learned from various martial arts lessons. If all else fails, this trait will surely make him dangerous to any opponent.
āWho the hell are you? Have you been following me around all this time?!ā
Uh oh.
Out Of Character
Martian Manhunter trained him as he did all the other budding heroes and even set him up with a fairly normal family. He has a friend named Devin who is also a splice.
