The short girl, being her apprehensive, paranoid self, ran her violet eyes over Kamin's form. She of course was unaware of his current affliction, but definitely certain he was acting a bit irregular. She quirked a thin brow at him, her exterior shifting to offensive mode. She was prepared to lunge at the King if he took one misguided step toward the Purple Queen. Koneko wasn't the strongest Lieutenant out there, but she'd jump into any fire if there was a possibility it would aid Aika and protect her from physical harm.
She lowered her head in respect to the Green King, albeit warily, and quite briefly. She only bowed to Aika, so the notion would have to suffice, but she really didn't bother herself with the details of whether she'd offended the King or not. Then she tilted her head as he invited them to tea,
"We sit close to the doorway though." She replied with a smirk, not quite trusting the Green King even before his switch of attitude, which she was still trying to get to the bottom of. She wanted a quick escape route if this visit went sour.
You are up to something... What is it..? She followed closely beside her Queen, eyeing Kamin suspiciously every few seconds, trying to at least wait five seconds before her eyes returned expectantly at the man. This was a common occurrence, any time Kamin came to visit Aika, Koneko would watch him as if he had a bomb strapped to his chest ready to blow at any given moment.
Koneko ordered her tea, while she let Aika catch up with her friend,
"Earl Grey.." she informed the waitress, glancing over at the King and Queen now and then. She tried to not interfere in their conversation, to at least give them a sense that they had a moment to themselves without her involvement.
Koneko smiled back, before turning back into the conversation as business was declared as the next topic. She pushed her hair behind her ears, eyes shifting between the Purple and Green Clan leaders. She listened intently, biting at heer bottom lip as Scepter 4 was mentioned, along with HOMRA. She thought instantly to a familiar blue haired boy, eyes shifting to stare down at the table for a moment.
Hikaru.. She whispered in her mind, for a moment missing her elder brother.
Peace treaty? Her eyes widened at this request, but she trusted Aika's judgement, refraining from interrupting the current affairs. Though she couldn't help wondering where the Green King's clansmen were and why he was walking without them. Being alone was dangerous at times like this.. After Mikoto Suoh died.. the streets of Japan were dangerous for men and women alike who chose to venture the streets unaccompanied.
