Shiro would make his ways to where the others were gathered, as he walked down the hall way the only things he could hear where gokudera words "you are the next storm Guardian so that means you are now the heart of all battles". he would stop at the door to the room where the others he listened to the others talk, shiro wasn't in the best mood but he was sure no one would be able to tell the difference. he walked in calmly after Josei said "I'm sorry Jay, I'm not suitable to be your cloud guardian." He said while bowing his head down to her. "So instead, I'm going to be the lightning guardian that fights off the evil that attacks you instead of being the shield that guards you. If you'll have me that is." in a clam voice he would say " it's very discouraging see the "lighting rod" of the family cry, you do realize that." he would lean against the wall nearest to everyone. "and if its any consolation we all didn't do well in that situation, so there is no need to cry. he would reach into his pocket and pulled out a wrapped piece of candy and would toss it over Josei, "here! now stop crying you big baby." he would hang his head a bit. at lest you fought the enemy, that's far more than I was able to carry out. he would clench his teeth and tighten his fist but next time, we will show them the resolve of the 11th Vongola Guardians. as he said this the storm flame would begin to pour from the ring on his right hand.

Samuel twitched and turned all around having a nightmare. He mumbled in his sleep " no... no... not... not... not ABSTRACT" he sat up absolutely terrified and panting. He really couldn't cope with abstract art. It took him a little bit to stop panting. As he did it all came back to him.
He jumped to his feet, his body was still aching all over, he turned his head all around. It seemed just about everyone was here. He remembered that the other family had left, and passing out after healing Josei.
He sat back down relaxing his stiff tired body. He had really enjoyed fighting with that guy, he was strong, but he was also disappointed in himself since he hadn't been very good at doing anything. Everyone else in the room seemed to feel the same way.
Samuel signed.

Jayson walked up to Josei and hugged him. "Theres no need to cry. It was my fault. I gave the orders without knowing the cosequences. On top of that you all are a lot braver than I am. I only fought Kurai a little bit before other things got in the way." she turned her gaze back to Josei. "Look I think you'll make a great guardian either way." she stepped away from him and looked at everyone. "I'm the one who is sorry. I failed all of you as the Vongola 11th." she bowed and had her hair cover her face. It was true she felt the most at fault. She gave the orders and wasn't able to have their back in battle so when they got injured or worse almost died she was the one to blame and Jayson was willing to shoulder the blame and work on her faults. Her thoughts were suddenly interuptted by her mother's voice.

"Now, now everyone you all exhausted much energy now it's time to gain some of it back. I've made dinner and it's set to eat in the dining room." Jayson didn't hold any emotion visable momentarily on her face but she turned to them and smiled, although it was fake she still did so. "You all go eat. I'll see you guys later on." She ignored her mother's disapproving look. RIght now she had other things to deal with than dining. First her random enemies are from the future and now the man whom she feels is the devil himself has been released from prison. She couldn't eat without having that on her mind. Her younger brother's didn't understand and just ran off to the dining room and a loud bang followed so her mother ran out after them as well. Jayson went off to a room set for her when she needed to 'work' and it actually resembled an office. She sat down on the leather swivel chair and went over to the computer beginning to search for information on the man released from prison that took her very innocence away.

Shiro would place his hand on his head and cocks his head back and lets out a long depressing sigh, as the screen computer in front of shrio flashed with the words "No match found". Shiro had dedicated all of his free time since the attack on the family to find out who the "Rizzo" was. he would push himself away from the desk as the chair he was sitting in rolled he would say "there flames, their box weapons and even their name Rizzo all where dead ends". he would lean over in his chair and slam his hands down onto his knees, "how, how, how can people who are that strong just appear out of thin air there is not info on them even CEDEF can find anything on them and even more surprising reborn knew nothing of them" Shiro would stand up and walk over to his computer and closed it, as his last lead was a dead-end so there was nothing more he could do. he would walk out of his room and down stairs. his mother was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, as she heard him coming down stairs he called out to him " breakfast will be ready in a little while" he would look over at the table it was set for 3 people, he would call back "no that's OK I'm just going to get something on the way to school. his mother would poke her head out from the kitchen "why do you still go to school you graduated years ago I don't understand why you wanted the Vongola's to get you can into school"? as he walk towards the door he would say "the best place in the city to nap is on the roof of the school." as he reached for the door he couldn't help but feel bad about lying to his mom but he couldn't tell her he is only going on the off-chance that the Rizzo will attack, as he shut the door behind him he would pulled out his phone and scroll down to the contact named "her". he would begin to write her a text message it would read "if you want a chance to kill someone come to school." he hated having to be around her (Rosa) for longer then he had to but it couldn't be helped, not to mention he didn't trust her she acted far too much like her father and he was sure she was upset over the fact he was the storm guardian and not her. as he got closer to the school he would see Jayson and Samuel he would called out to them, he wanted to see if they learned anything new about the attackers " 11th, Samuel YO!"

Jayson had simply been awaiting the start to school when Samuel hitting a lamp pole distracted her from her thoughts. She was about to go up to him to see if he was okay when he ran up to her yelling agreeting. "Good morning Samuel." she replied to him and for a few moments there was silence up until Shiro had shown up. She was so used to being called by either Jayson or Jay that she barely reposnded to being called 11th. "Hey Shiro and you know you can call me Jayson or Jay right?" it wasn't an ordinary thing for her to be called anything except those two names but she had to expect it seeing as how others may end up referring to her as such. It also helped solidify the fact that she was no longer just Jayson or The daughter of Tsuna. She was part of the 11th generation Vongola and as of now even knowing for a while she'd be in this position it still seemed unreal to her.

She quickly pushed those thoughts away and focused on the present. As of now she wanted at least school to remain normal for her. It was one of the few things that have always pretty much remained the same for and that she was thankful for. What made it better was that she wouldn't be attending school with complete strangers and her classmates would be people she knew on some level. That, she was also grateful for.

“I told you this was the best spot to watch the sunset,” Donovan said happily, plopping down on the freshly laid out picnic blanket his companion had brought. The two of them had been planning this little outing for two weeks and it was only now that they could get out without one of the others noticing.

Jayson gasped at the view from the hill. “Wow, it’s beautiful!” Donovan smiled, running his fingers through his white blond hair. “Of course it is, only the best for my little angel.” She sat down beside him, taking his hand in hers as they watched the sun float down towards the horizon. The silence was both comforting and unnerving for the Asteroid Guardian, the thought at how close they had been to getting caught still fresh in his mind. Jayson was the one to break the silence.

“What do you think would happen if we told them?” She asked quietly. “Well, the Vongola would probably understand, though I suspect they’ll be pissed as hell. As for the Rizzo, they won’t be as generous and order for my execution.” He smiled and put his arm around her comfortingly.

“That’s only if they catch us and, as you know, nothing can catch me.” Jayson smiled back, lifting her chin to kiss his nose. “Don’t run too fast or you’ll leave me behind,” she giggled. Donovan placed his hands on the back of her head bringing their lips close and-

BEER, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.

A large groan escaped the teen’s mouth as he fumbled for his alarm clock. When the incessant noise finally stopped, one thought flew through the Asteroid Guardian’s mind. “Damn, it was just getting good too.” Flinging the curtains aside, sunshine flooded into the dark room, illuminating the multitudes of play posters adorning the walls. His favourite one was the poster from a performance of Macbeth all the way back in the 1800’s.

The paper had been found in one of the old Chicago libraries yellow with age and ripped to shreds but with a little help, or blackmail, from Alastor, he’d been able to piece it back together to hang it on his wall.

After showering and eating breakfast, he threw on a white dress shirt and some jeans and raced down the hall to Trevor’s room.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The C-Frame haunted Trevor’s nightmares. They were fighting the Vongola in an all or nothing battle and it was no surprise that the Rizzo were winning. There he sat inside the C-Frame, smiling like a madman as he crushed one of the Vongola’s skulls under his feet, he didn’t care which one, all of them looked the same splattered on the floor. Soon, all the Vongola were dead and only the Rizzo were left but the machine still kept running.

Trevor watched in horror as the C-Frame ripped the unsuspecting Donovan in half and impaled Kurahoshi with his own sword. One by one, his friends were murdered and the whole time, he watched himself laugh as he killed them.

A loud knocking ripped the boy from his sleep, his body caked in sweat. “Just a second,” he mumbled, throwing on the closest clothes he could find, a grey hoodie over a black t-shirt and jeans. He let out a silent sigh of relief as Donovan walked in the door, relieved his nightmare wasn’t reality.

The older boy smiled and reached back into the hallway, revealing two plastic cups and offering one to Trevor. A small grimace spread across the young boy’s face. “You know I don’t like coffee.” Donovan shook his head, taking a sip of his beverage. “You will, it comes with age. If you ever want to get as fast as me, you have to drink a lot of this stuff,” he flicked Trevor playfully on the forehead, “besides, I got you hot chocolate.” The boy smiled, a rare occurrence, and began to drink the liquid, looking over the rim of his cup.

“You didn’t have to wait for me you know, you can leave.” The older boy smiled and headed towards the door. “Suit yourself,” he called, running down the hallway. Trevor groaned, carefully holding the coffee cup in his hand as he raced out the door after his friend. “Hey, wait up!”

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

“Wow, 27 seconds. I’d say that’s a new record for you.” Trevor agitatedly batted away the hand ruffling his hair. He was nervous about school, like he was nervous about most things outside of his C-Frame. What if the kids don’t like me? What if I fail my classes? What if I can’t make any friends? All these thoughts raced through his brain at a mile per second on the highway to anxiety. Not even his brother’s goofy smile could cheer him up today.

They were walking through an alleyway, the quickest route to the school from the Rizzo residence. Trashcans littered the sides, breeding grounds for bacteria, insects and rats. Suddenly, a soft cry for help shot through the dank alley. With a silent nod, they ran towards the noise, revealing an old woman being mugged for her purse at gunpoint.

“Alright Trevor, stay here,” Donovan warned, striding confidently towards the crook. The thief turned a look of frightful courage on his face as he pointed the gun at a mop of white hair. “Don’t move or I-I’ll shoot!” Donovan smiled, raising his hands into the air, ushering he grandma to run off. “Relax buddy, I’m just helping the little old lady out. She doesn’t seem like she carries much cash on her anyways.” A yell of anger escaped the man’s lips as he shot the gun, which Donovan easily dodged.

“Missed me!” He taunted, burying his fist into the crooks stomach and knocking him unconscious. Beckoning to Trevor, they continued they’re merry way to school, happy to have done their good deed for the day.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Trevor walked up to the school alone, Donovan having already ran off to get his schedule, when his heart caught in his throat. Standing in the gateway was none-other than the boy he killed the other day, Josei Lambe. A huge wave of relief washed over him. ‘Oh thank god, he’s still alive. I didn’t kill anyone!’ However, that relief soon sparked into fear. ‘Wait…what if he recognizes me?!’ He pulled his hood up to mask his presence as he walked past the vongola, large beads of sweat pouring down his forehead. The sound of footsteps echoed behind him, mimicking his movements.

A hand clamped down on his shoulder, sending a slight shiver through his body. “Hey, Eat this. It might help you exercise your face a little.” A large candy was thrust into Trevor’s face. When he was sure Josei held no ill intent, he took the candy and gave a mumbled thank you. The realization hit Trevor like a truck. ‘He doesn’t know I was piloting the C-Frame!’ he thought thankfully. Flashing Josei a really bad, fake smile, he turned to the school and set off to class.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

“3-C, 3-C, 3-C. Hmmm, where is 3-C?” Donovan scratched his head in confusion, his eyes scanning the halls for the sign of his class. After a few more minutes of searching he found the room, the class list neatly posted on wall outside. A grin danced on his lips as he read off the names. “Jayson Vongola, Shiro Suzuki, Josei Lambe, this is going to be an interesting year.” Fixing his hair, he entered the classroom.

The teacher was a middle aged man by the name of Mutou, an easily distracted man with a passion for science, especially physics. The only reason Mutou noticed his arrival is it seemed to summon a chorus of chatter from the girls in class, something Donovan himself was completely oblivious too. Mutou cleared his throat, “Good morning class, welcome to the new school year. I trust you all had a good summer?” Chatter erupted around the room but was quickly silenced by Mutou. “Now, this is-“

"Sorry I'm late. I had a little problem I had to take care of,” Jayson interrupted as she walked in the classroom, sitting in her desk. Donovan smiled. She didn’t care about the rules, she just did what she wanted, when she wanted. He liked her even more now.
“Ahem, as I was saying, this is Donovan Shmautz, your peer tutor for this year. He’s very versed in English, P.E and science and if you ever have any questions, ask him. Remember he’s a student like you, not a teacher, he’ll be getting the same homework and tests you do as well. Now, go find a seat.” Donovan smiled at Mutou and made a beeline directly for the chair beside Jayson. “Well, well, well. I wasn’t expecting to have such a beauty in my class,” he teased, resting his hands behind his head, “looks like the tooth fairy was extra nice to me this time.”

Jayson was utterly shocked to see a Rizzo here of all places and it was the one who seemed a tad bit flirty towards her. He had sat right next to her and what he had said usually would've made girls blush but Jayson was like any of those girls. She decided it'd be best not to even reply to him but rather ignore him. Maybe that would get him to go elsewhere. Even so she sighed and her resolve had broken. Her plan had worked for about twenty seconds before her reply came. "What do you want Donovan?" She didn't know him all that well and he certainly did not know her. She glanced beside Donovan and saw Shiro at the door. This perked her up and seeing as how it was him she tapped the top of the empty desk beside her signalling for him to sit next to her.

Jayson had also begun thinking that if Donovan was here so could other members of the Rizzo famiglia. 'This is just great.' she thought. It didn't matter for right now anywy because when the oppurtunity presented itself she'd get out of here and go up to the roof like she usually does.

“What do I want?” he mused curiously, “Well, I want lots of things. To help you in class, Pokemon X and Y, to see an old Shakespeare performance live, there are many things in this timeline that I’d enjoy, your one of them.” He flashed Jayson his trademark cocky smile as another figure entered the classroom, a redheaded kid who looked like he’d only gotten 20 minutes sleep. The expression on his face was one of annoyance and longing and was directed right at Donovan. He couldn’t help but feel a little threatened by the kid.

The purple haired girl was also in this class, something he hadn’t realized before. There was no doubt that she recognized him, always watching him from the corner of her eyes. If they all decided to gang up on him, he didn’t know if he could escape without hurting someone. In a sign of comical defeat, he lifted his arms in surrender. “Relax, I come in peace for now. I don’t have any intention of harming you. I’m just a guy who wants to help his classmates and take this little cutie on a date.” He winked at Jayson, placing his feet on the desk.

“Besides, I don’t think I could fight you without hurting one of the other people in this classroom and there’s no need for innocents to get involved.” He turned to Ai. "I'm sorry about your friend, Trevor didn't mean to do it, he lost control of his suit." He offered a hand to each of them in turn. "So, we good?

The boy was sure weird. Josei traded a glance with him as he finally received a thank you and watched as the boy left on. He then decided to go to class. 3-C. It wasn't unexpected that he would arrive after everyone. He looked and saw that Shiro was giving a threatening glance over towards Jayson's table. No. Shaji was there too.

What the hell?

He walked closer to the table and noticed the boy. One of the Rizzo's. His heart almost pounded out of his chest as he burned with rage. He held himself back from doing anything grave so that he wouldn't accidentally shock anyone with his flames. Listening on the conversation, one thing seemed to snap him out of his lackluster attitude.

"I'm sorry about your friend, Trevor didn't mean to do it, he lost control of his suit." He offered his hand and Josei went around Shaji, gently pushing her out the way to take his hand. "So, we good?"

The Lightning guardian but gave a 'Shocking' Handshake and let go. He proceeded to grab the other boy by his collar and said, "Do you think we are good? You guys come to our ceremony, crash it, and badly hurt us. On top of that, I was almost killed. You tell that Trevor person that I'll be looking for him. I may not know what he really looks like, but you tell him that once I find him, I'll show him the true power of the lightning guardian."

Letting go, Josei decided not to attend class after all and left. Instead, he decided to go on top the schools roof.

My first day and I already have an enemy in school. This is so lame.

Maybe looking at the clouds would cheer him up.

Shiro had watch everything play out in the classroom once 11th stormed out of the room with Josei following behind her. he though it best to leave her be, as much as he would have wanted to help 11th he wasn't the best person to deal with people while they are emotional, he was sure that Josei could handle it. Shiro turned a walk the other way, he was now focused on the task at hand if the boy was really a Rizzo then Shiro was sure that more would be around. after walking for a while checking each class room he made his way out side of the school, after walking around outside for a bit Shiro begin to feel a bit sleepy maybe there was only one here. Shiro thought it best to go back to finish his nap on the roof, but once Shiro begin to turn around and walk back into the build he hear some sort of commotion around where the troublemaker hung out. there old hang out was the room until Shiro came and kicked them out, he figured they where picking on some kid. Shiro was already in some what of a bad mood from all the frustration of the last week or so, so kicking the hoods teeth down their throat should be just the stress reliever he needed he would calmly walk around the corner only for his heart to drop, he seen some guy dressed in a jacket talking to the one who called her self Rizzo he was sure it was her. his thoughts race should i tell the other, should i see why they where here, what should i do? but before he could make up his mind the blond hood would begin to rear back his arm as if he was going to hit the boy. "damn it!" Shiro would say under his breath, he would race over there before the idiots got them self killed lucky Shiro grabbed hold of his wrist with the hoods fist only a few inches from the boys face. Shiro would jerk the hoods arm back "don't you have anything better to do then pick fights?" the hood would take a few steps backwards and look at Shiro "WHY YOU!!!!" he lurched forward before his friends would grab hold of him, "come one man dont you remember what happened last time!" they called out. the blond hood would shrug them off "fine, we're outta here!" he would mumble. little does he know Shiro just saved his life. as Shiro would watch them walk away he would slowly turn around, every muscle in his body was tense he knew from the others recounts of what happened at the ceremony these guys where no joke. to top things off he was in the absolute worst position on school grounds to be they where on the side of the school so there where no windows and there was a huge tree so no one could see them from the roof so if they attacked him the was done for. Shiro couldn't show them he was afraid, "hello, i would introduce myself but I have a feeling you already know who I am. so! I will cut to the chase Rizzo was it, what do you want with us" Shiro said all of this in a calm steady tone, but his body was nervously shaking.

"Alastor, save it for later." Even without the mentioning of his name, Alastor recognized the voice. Looking to his side, he saw Kurai Rizzo smiling at him. He smiled back—one of his rare authentic smiles. "We don't need too much attention on us, even if the Vongolas need to die~" She continued. Alastor closed his eyes, nodding twice. Even if he was severely disappointed by this newly introduced constraint, he was way too relaxed to do anything but agree. Plus, it made sense. Didn't want to ruin the future by killing a bunch of school kids.

Unless it was supposed to happen...

"WHY YOU!!!!" Both Alastor and Kurai turned their heads at the same time, expressions deathly serious. It was the primitive boy again. Honestly, Alastor had forgotten the boy even existed, and had to force himself to remember why the blond kid was even within the general vicinity. Alastor had already loosed a blade handle from the inside of his sleeve, the cool dark metal resting heavily against his palm, but he didn't withdraw the weapon or activate it with Comet flames. Kurai would have to give the order. Until then, he'd limit the scope of his actions to the reactionary.

However, before the primitive could be made to meet his maker, someone Alastor didn't recognize intervened. Red hair, kinda tallish, sporting a long-sleeve white hoodie. Alastor's eyes were drawn to the guy's footwear. Combat boots. Black. The stranger grabbed the primitive boy by the arm and sent him and his cronies on his way.

Alastor grinned politely, the skin around his eyes wrinkling slightly. Interesting.

That's when the stranger spoke. "Hello, I would introduce myself but I have a feeling you already know who I am." Alastor raised an eyebrow, slightly confused. "So! I will cut to the chase. Rizzo, was it? What do you want with us?"

Half way through listening to the guy talk, everything clicked and Alastor fully understood the situation. This guy is one of those Vongolas! His polite grin morphed into a wicked smirk so deep that it contorted his entire face. Gripping the blade handle that lay flat against his palm, he looked to the side at Kurai, both eyebrows raised, like an attack dog begging to be let off his leash.

As if to say: can I kill this one?

Donovan watched as the Vongola leader walked out of the room, his eyes following the rhythmic swaying of her butt out the door. With her gone and the lesson begun, Donovan leaned back in his chair and fell asleep.

He woke up as a ruler hit his desk, the impact sending his chair flying backwards onto the ground as he jumped in confusion. “Mr. Shmautz. I brought you into this class because you said you wanted to learn and help. You can’t really do that if your sleeping, can you?” Donovan smiled and pointed at the board. “The answers to every question on that board are 53, 72.9 and Noah’s Ark, can I go back to sleep now?” With a sigh, the teacher conceded the duel to his student.

However, now that Donovan was awake, he wasn’t going to sleep now, there was an interesting person beside him that needed his attention. He turned to Shaji, keeping his cheerful demeanor. “Is your boss always like that? Pardon my rude introduction yesterday, I’m Donovan Theodore Shmautz, son of Ashlyn Shmautz and Asteroid Guardian for the Rizzo family. What’s your name?”

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

He could barely hold it, the pressure was too much. “Just ask her!” a feminine voice echoed through his head. “No way,” he responded, “I don’t want to disturb the class. Everyone’s getting so much work done and besides, I can’t just leave Sam, he won’t understand the questions, I’ll just hold it.” Serlina sighed, her small blue wings fluttering in the air beside him, leaving little drops of water with every flap. “You can’t hold it until the end of class, you’re squirming like a slug being touched, now ask the teacher before you piss yourself!”

At first he began to shake his head but a sudden pressure in his loins said otherwise, pushing his hand up to be seen. After waving around frantically for a minute, the teacher finally caught sight. “Mr. Koenig, what can I do for you?” she asked politely. “Uh, can I go to the bathroom please?” She cocked her ear towards him. “I said, can I go to the bathroom please.” She shook her head. “I can’t hear you Mr. Koenig, speak up”
With a groan of impatience, Serlina flew to the teacher and whispered his request in her ear. A look of realization spread across her face, giving him a thumbs-up. Fredrick nodded in thanks and took off down the hallway, his hands awkwardly placed between his legs.

Before he reached the bathroom however, he was stopped by a commotion in the hallways. Two kids Fredrick hadn’t seen before were harassing the school bullies. One of them was a cute girl with long pink hair. She seemed really nice, maybe the bullies were picking on her and the other guy stepped in to save her. Looking at the other guy though, a sense of unusual dread filled the Rain Guardian, like he’d met this person before and knew he was dangerous. He shook it off, there was no way they had met before, he’d remember.
Fredrick tried to inch his way around them to the bathrooms beside them, the slow progress not helping his need to pee, when Shiro came to intervene. "Hello, I would introduce myself but I have a feeling you already know who I am. So! I will cut to the chase. Rizzo, was it? What do you want with us?”

At the mention of the Rizzo, Fred’s blood ran cold with fear. ‘The Rizzo? Those are the people that attacked the others yesterday….Those guys are Rizzo?!” Terror erupted inside him as he inched faster along the wall, hoping not be seen. They wouldn’t fight here in the school, would they? Serlina slapped him, projecting her voice in his mind. ‘What the hell are you doing? Are you going to leave Shiro to fight them by himself?” He looked back at the Rizzo and gasped, the boys posture, facial expressions, everything was geared towards pure violence, the opposite of the pacifism Fredrick followed. The boys eyes were filled with killer intent, sending shivers down Fredrick’s spine.

Mustering up all his courage, he stepped away from the wall towards them. “I-if you-if you w- i-i-if you want to-“ Serlina pulled in front of him, her body shining a brilliant blue. “If you want to take on the Vongola you’ve gotta take us on aswell. Going up against him 2v1? I thought the Rizzo were supposed to be strong? Guess we were wrong, right Fredrick?”

His face a mask of pure horror, he simply stared at his friend, so scared that he didn’t even notice he didn’t need to pee anymore.

Trevor sat on a bench outside of the classroom he was pretty sure he was supposed to be in, slowly kicking his feet back and forth. He didn't really feel like walking in, even though he wouldn't be considered all that late. The teacher would probably make him introduce himself, just like the kids in the movies on the Terranet. The Moon Guardian wasn't really good with meeting new people, and besides, the only official schooling he'd ever received was during his time at The Facility, and that was by scientists. It was less of a "classroom" setting and more of a "rat in a maze" type deal. At least that's how Trevor saw it.

If you would have asked him ten minutes ago if he was nervous, he'd have been way too nervous to answer. Ever since he killed that one guy with the C-Frame, he'd been... different. Felt different. Felt... depressed? Was that the word for this? He wasn't sure what type of disease this "depression" was, or if he could even catch it at all, but from what he read, he was showing symptoms. Crazy dreams, weird sensations in his gut and chest, a deep and all-encompassing malaise, a sense of general emptiness... but of course it never showed on his face. He even started leaving the little black cube that was the C-Frame Box Weapon back at home. He couldn't even fathom communication with it. Not anymore. Not after what he'd done.

He felt like he betrayed it—betray the C-Frame—and, in the process, destroyed a piece of his soul. He wasn't sure how to proceed.

In his hands he played with the bag of rock candy he'd received from the guy he killed, turning it over again and again in his hands, staring at it.

But I didn't kill him. Something like a smile crept onto his face, though you'd have to know him very well to notice a change at all. He's alive! I didn't kill him! He'd been repeating this over and over for a while now, sitting on this bench as the last of the stragglers trickled into their classrooms. Some glanced in his direction every now and then, but he ignored them.

It was as if some great weight had been lifted. The crippling burden of guilt, the feelings of emptiness, of self-doubt and anxiety, of anger and sadness, all of it was slowly disintegrating right before his very eyes until, finally, they were but a distant confusing memory.

Taking a deep breath, the boy basked in the glory of freedom from sin. It was as if a haze had cleared and he remembered his true purpose. He was Rizzo, and he was here to fight the aliens, stop the evil Vongola, and save the future! He looked to his wrist, noting the absence of a wrist band or the accompanying black cube, and instantly kicked himself. "What was I thinking?" He sighed, wishing more than anything that he could talk to the C-Frame.

As he pondered Donovan's reaction to him cutting class and walking back home alone—Trevor was sure he'd go apoplectic—a shadowy figure loomed over him. So lost was he within his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed someone walking towards him. Looking up, he was only able to catch the back of the guy's head as he walked by. He instantly recognized him.

"A-Alastor?" He muttered, genuinely confused. Why would he of all people be walking through this part of the school? The only things on this side were the 5-13 year olds... and the main bathrooms. If Alastor noticed Trevor speak, he'd ignored him, because the guy kept moving at a rather expeditious pace, hands placed awkwardly between his legs. Trevor was even more confused.

Tracking him with his eyes, Trevor's gaze followed Alastor down the long hall to around the end where the bathrooms were, but then he stopped, as if conflicted. That's when Trevor heard something that truly piqued his interests. Voices from down the hall, next to where the guy he believed to be Alastor was standing. Four distinct voices to be exact, but two in particular that he recognized.

He stood up from the bench, slipping the packet of rock candy into his pocket, pondering his next action.

One voice was definitely Alastor's. The drugged-up mean-sounding one. The other was elegant, lofty, yet firm and commanding. That was definitely Kurai's. Alastor's tone was especially contentious today. It was weird though, because Alastor's voice wasn't actually coming from Alastor's mouth. In fact, there was some blue thing zipping around Alastor's head, like a small bird or a butterfly. Wait.. were there two Alastors? Trevor took a step towards them, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands.

Maybe he was just dazed. It'd been a few weeks since he'd last been inside of the C-Frame—his longest record yet. Maybe his mind was playing tricks on him. Besides, Alastor sounded like he was in one of his moods. Nodding to himself, Trevor returned to the bench. He decided he'd do best to stay away from them. No one in this time period could possibly pose a challenge to Space and Comet, especially if they were working together. Plus he didn't have his C-Frame. And then there was the redhead and the... doppelganger? He never did get a good look at the guy's face, and was just going by the hair. Maybe he wasn't Alastor afterall...

The four were too far away for Trevor to fully make out any aesthetic details or catch but faint echoes of their conversation, and he wasn't about to approach them.

That's when he felt someone poke him in his side. It was a sharp prod, meant to invoke reaction, but Trevor wasn't ticklish. Instead of jumping up in surprise or anger, he simply turned his head, leveling a cold menacing glare over his shoulder upon this offender. His gaze was met with a cheesy smile and a curt wave.

There were two little kids standing behind him, in front of the closed door of the classroom he was supposed to be in right now. From the looks of it, they were supposed to be in there too. Trevor turned to face them, expression as neutral and stoic as ever, head tilted slightly to the side, silently questioning their actions. From the looks of them, they were probably twins, a particularly rare occurrence in the future. They were a bit shorter than he was, with short stocky light brown hair and brown eyes. They currently stood side-by-side, which made for a quick and easy apposition.

"Um... hi," said the one on the left. "Are you in this class?" He pointed a thumb to the closed door of the class Trevor was supposed to be in. Instead of responding, Trevor subconsciously rubbed his side with his forefinger. That earlier poke had kinda hurt.

"Why'd you poke him, stupid?" Said the one on the right.
"Shut up, Daniel," the one on the left hissed, turning his head back towards Trevor. "Hey, are you new here?"
After a moment, Trevor nodded once, but instantly regretted it.

The one on the right—Daniel—squealed in delight, and, before Trevor knew it, the boy had his arm around his shoulder. "Hey, you'll love it here! Oh! I'm Daniel. That doofus over there Luka. We're brothers. Hang with us and you'll do just fine!" He flashed another cheesy smile. Trevor pondered how rude of a move it would be to worm his way out of this quasi-headlock and just go home, but before he could make a move, Luka shushed them.

"Shhh! Daniel, you're too loud!" He whispered, but it was too late. The door next to them opened abruptly, a large man towering over them like a titan in the doorway. "Luka! Daniel! The bell rang twenty minutes ago. Why are you out in the hall talking? Do you have a pass?" The boys shook their heads, not meeting the man's eyes. "Well," he continued, lowering his voice, "I'm glad you could join us." He pointed to somewhere in his classroom. "Please take your seats."

That's when the teacher noticed Trevor. "And you. Are you the new student?" He pulled out a notepad from his pocket, flipping a few of the pages. "Trevor... Lange?" Trevor nodded, acknowledging the fake last name. "Why were you so late, Mr. Lange?" Trevor pursed his lips, but didn't respond. Daniel and Luka snickered, flashing him grins and thumbs up. "Well, okay, doesn't matter. Just don't make it a habit like these troublemakers here." The teacher said, referring to Daniel and Luka. "Now, please," he made a welcoming gesture with his hand, "introduce yourself to the class."

With a sigh, Trevor stepped into the room, the two Alastors still on his mind.

Rosa woke up from her mindless daze upon hearing her name called. "Hmm?" she answered quite flatly. "If there is anything you would wish of me ask and I will consider every way I can help and should help. You have no need to keep staring at me". "I'm not staring..." Rosa mumbled, and sat upright in her seat and turned her head toward the window, with the possibility that something interesting would appear.

Though, there was something bothering her. The seat next to Samuel had been empty for quite a bit of time. As she recalled, it was Freddie's seat, whom had went to the restroom quite a while ago. 'Must had fallen into the toilet and got himself flushed down it,' Rosa thought, and brushed it off. She considered going herself, but it wasn't like she'd find anything of interest there either.

Remembering she still had her phone in her shirt pocket, she decided to text Shiro, to at least pass the time. where r u now? who do i kill? After sending it, she placed the phone back into her pocket before the teacher had noticed, and simply waited for a vibration.
