Emily piped up at the mention of Texas. "Me too!" She had just the slightest country twang in her speaking, if you could hear it, then you must've had real good hearing. She smiled excitedly, and Ted leaned his head back against the truck, closing his eyes.

I sat in the truck, looking over the map and listening to their conversation, slightly bothered by the fact that there were more people in the vehicle, but very glad that there are more survivors. I sigh and look out the window.
