The quiet type who only speaks when she has something to say. Diligent, elegant, serious and a little mysterious. There are plenty of opinions about who Iridian, or Anna, really is as a person. In elementary school she was considered a teachers pet, someone who would quickly tell on anyone who was doing something they weren't supposed to. However as she grew she begun to care less and less about what others might be doing, only intervening if she feels it necessary. In the academy she's known for her sharp tongue and stubbornness to not back down in an argument, though she prefers to call such quarrels 'discussions', no matter the subject.
However, her personality as a detective and as a student are somewhat different. Even she has a darker side that she lets slip out now and then. Anna is actually quite manipulative and her honesty is brutally harsh. In a story book her type would probably end up being one of the villains, a true Queen of Hearts who takes other people and uses them as pawns to get what she needs, even if it requires threatening them.
Then there is the Anna who is merely an intelligent 15 year old girl who's awful at processing emotions that draw too close to the wall of her comfort zone and has a habit of becoming socially awkward and flustered if someone draws too near to personal life. She's terrible at making friends, let alone being friendly towards other people her age, and tends to get into arguments more often than she should. Of course she's not afraid to
Anna's also a borderline drama fanatic, though that's not really a secret. If Anna can find a way to make something more dramatic, she will do it without hesitation. She usually tries to find ways to make things more interesting when she gets bored which, according to her, happens to be practically all the time. Such is life for Detective Anna Fost. Not that she complains about it. In fact she's really more the type who can't stand whining or any unprofessional behavior for that matter. Yet surprisingly, and probably unbelievably too, Anna happens to get a little softer and friendlier around small children and even animals. Still, only someone close to her would see that side of her and Anna's not exactly an open book, nor is she outgoing in the least. Or perhaps it's just the unapproachable, calmly fierce aura that she seems to give off that keeps most people from wanting to converse with her.

Skills
- Anna took basic martial arts classes as a child. She never continued passed that, but because of the classes she is not totally helpless and could do a number on any amateur who would attempt to attack her.
- Anyone could say that Anna is a superb actress. She knows how to put on a pretty face or change her posture and attitude in the blink of an eye, then quickly and easily snap back to her regular self.
Fears
- Despite how Anna loves dramatic and dangerous situations, she always dreads the thought of being caught up in something too big for her to control and ending up getting hurt or worse.
- Anna also has a deep fear of drowning, though this mainly only centers around large rapids and fast-moving rivers. She isn't as afraid of water that is still, as long as she is capable of standing in it.

It was like any December night. The snow that was first white and fresh from falling that morning had now been tainted with dirt and pushed to the sides of the streets by giant machines. However these machines had no power to overcome the blizzard that had begun to free the smashed snow and blow it about the sidewalk. In a small apartment only build for two with the lights out from the storm a child had been born on this same night. It wasn't intentional for the young woman, not even out of her teen years, to have a child, but her and her boyfriend coped with it anyway. This accidental infant was Iridian Fost.
It was difficult raising a child on minimum wage, but after making it by the first few years the young couple married and moved out of the city to avoid the mothers conflict with her parents. The two of them raised Iridian the best they could, the husband now having a well-paying job an capable of supporting his wife and child. It was a more or less normal childhood for Iridian. In fact it couldn't of been any more boring and average and peaceful. Most would call such a thing bliss, but Iridian's quirk of being bored all the time started at a young age. The activities at school weren't enough for her, and no student in her class nor teacher could give her enough excitement. No wonder she couldn't get along. Everyone was just too boring for her. Too dull. Too immature.
As the child grew she became detached and awkward, even with her own parents whom she already disproved of. Iridian decided to find something that could cure this boredom of her--the longing to find something miraculous in the world. A seven-year-old hopped on a bus and disappeared into the city, planning to travel the world and then return when she was older. A dream that was quickly demolished when her mother discovered her in a cafe four hours after her runaway. It was the day a child who strove to accomplish a goal lost her father to a car accident. Such a common and boring thing. Really, how dull could the world be?
Despite the dullness of the situation, Iridian seemed to change after that. Her endless curiosity of the world vanished and logic replaced imagination. She became rude and stern and quiet. She grew into a teen soon enough, the years before that too boring to even mention. The girl's mother had found herself a new man to confide in, giving Iridian, who now referred to herself as 'Anna' instead and easily discovered her mothers secret, only another reason to disapprove of her parent more than she already did. This same man was the principle of a school Anna had been interested in for quite some time-- The Sherlockian Academy.
