The Grace Family

The family, The "help," and a dead boyfriend.

0 · 1,189 views · located in Some city, Somewhere

a character in “Keeping Secrets.”, as played by dreamingreality

Description

Image Jessa Lynn Grace is a typical kid. She loves to play, she loves her toys, but most of all she loves her sister Elisa. Despite the fact she's a toddler, only age three, she appears to know something is very wrong with her family. Her parents, Joshua and Diana, are hardly ever there. They are strangers to her. Her nanny and Elisa are more of a maternal figure in her mind. She's called them both "mommy" on several occasions, only to be corrected. Named after Elisa's great grandmother.

Image There has never been two people more obsessed with status, wealth, and appearance than Joshua and Diana Grace. They were both born into money and have only made more in their lifetimes. They expect nothing less than perfection from their staff and daughter and will do everything in their power to cover up a scandal. They care little for their granddaughter, thinking she's just a mistake made by Elisa. They have noticed their daughter's several ills, including her anorexia, but would prefer to ignore it - just like Jess.

Image Alan Foster is the Grace family's chef. He lives and works in their home. He tends to be a grumpy man, though he's quite observant. He knows all the secrets of the house, including the ones no one was ever meant to know. Often times he feels sorry for Elisa and Jessa, but feels it is not his place to say something. Despite is grumpy exterior, he cares quite a bit for the girls and dislikes everything about their parents except the salary they pay him.

Image Allison walker is both Jessa's nanny and maid to the house. Like Alan, she lives in the home. Her job is to clean everything but the kitchen, do the laundry, and take care of Jess when she's not in her preschool classes. She's generally kind hearted, but extremely strict. She suspects that Jess is Elisa's daughter, but refuses to ask for fear of losing her job.

Image Malachai was Elisa's first love. Her parents absolutely despised him as he was everything about the world that they hated. He had tattoos, was sixteen when she was fourteen, had an anarchist view of the world, was a musician and an artist, and showed Elisa that her parents didn't have to have so much control over her. He believed in fun, in happiness, and that you didn't need to have money to have those two things. He loved Elisa and despite what she thinks, he had suspicions that she was pregnant before he died. Before he could ask her, he was hit by a drunk driver and killed.

UPDATE:

Was actually paid of by parents to stay away. Has no knowledge of Jess. Joined Beck Hades' rival gang after becoming addicted to drugs, which ruined his mind and turned him into something dark - evil even. There were hints that he had a darker part of himself when they were younger, but nothing like he is now.

So begins...

"I don't want to go. I have to."
"I am so scared."

"I don't suppose you'll let me go with you then?" Elisa asked, her voice cracking slightly. It was a stupid thought, but she figured if she was there...maybe it wouldn't be so bad. It was childish and silly, but some part of her thought that maybe she could help him in some way, despite the fact that her upper arm was barely bigger than his wrist and that all she could do was call 911 if things went awry. She did hate seeing him so frightened though and she thought that maybe she could also comfort him in some way. When his head laid on her shoulder, she brushed a hand through his hair and even that felt like a work out after all the energy she had exerted that day.

"If only I had only been the tiny bit smarter and more mature when I was a kid. I would not be stood here now trying not to break down infront of my new girlfriend."

She chuckled quietly when he hit his forehead in such a dramatic way. "Silly boys do silly things and you are, in fact, a silly boy. I love you, anyways." She teased, trying to make light of the shitty situation as she grabbed the same hand he had just hit himself with and placed her lips on his fingertips, kissing each one. When he leaned in to kiss her she didn't fight it, though at first she was slightly hesitant because this kiss felt like goodbye. It felt to final and filled with too much fear.

With their goodbyes said and plenty of stalling, Elisa knew she had to go back inside. The walk to the door was difficult and long and she kept looking back - hoping he would decide to come with her rather than go to the meet up. When that didn't happen, she closed the door and was, despite the hour, greeted quietly by a tiny ball of sunshine and a fat white cat. Despite everything, Elisa stilled smile and grabbed the girl's tiny hand in hers. Her heart was breaking but the excited smile on Jess's face made it just a tiny bit better.

"Lissy's home!" The toddler whispered, though it was still quite loud.

"Yes I am, and you're not supposed to be awake." Elisa whispered back, walking up the stairs to put her daughter back in bed.

"Miss Allison said I could." Jessa said matter-of-factly, but her face gave her lies away.

"Sure she did, Jess. Time to go to sleep."

And a few stories later the little red head fell asleep and Elisa laid next her, far too worried to sleep and too terrified to be alone. So she settled for letting Jess use her as a human pillow and laid in the silence with just her thoughts and a phone she was eagerly waiting for to go off.

You're going to have to start the gang scene. I haven't the slightest idea where to begin.

Beck Hades.

Of course Leon drove and Beck sat to the left of him, finally feeling comfortable enough to atleast let his emotions show in the slightest of ways. His fingertips tapped quickly upon dashboard as he could not seem to remain still due to the fear pumping through his veins. His stomach twisted over time and time again and his vision blurred as though he had met a wall of mist. Tears stung in the back of his eyes. He knew if he wanted to put on the persona of The Leader of the Shards he would to pull himself together very quickly.

"Come on man. You don't really have nothing to worry about." Leon told the man sternly, which was a rather forgiven tone for the brunette as Beck was clearly superior. As they pulled up he slapped him on the back hard enough to snap him out of his turn. "We all are here for you." The male promised, which encouraged a smile to grow upon Beck's heavy lips. "Is Millie here?" The youth questioned, to which Leon hesitated then began to nod. "Great." Beck hissed through gritted teeth and his pupils rolled to the ground. "As if I don't already have enough issues to deal with."

For a second or two he sat back in the front seat and began mentally preparing himself by basically forcing his emotions to be as cold as ice. He then dragged his body with his limbs feeling as heavy as lead out of the car as well as pulling a handgun from the black bag that sat at his feet revealing a handgun. He examined the weapon carefully, forcing his hands not to shake as he held it in his grip. Beck Hades was not planning to kill anyone tonight but he sure would pump lead into the knees of anyone who threatened him. He had done it once, he could do the same again.

Beck slid the metal item into his jacket pocket before following Leon, chest out, eyes dead, and a face like stone. The group of Shard's awaited at the alleys corner along with Millie, who seemed to be childishly ignoring the situation despite how dangerous it was. He knew quite a few of those around him were well armed, but he was sure the enemy would be too. Still, tonight was not supposed to be that of warfare.

The group walked towards the suggested location which seemed to be a abandoned multistorey car park. Sure enough a few figures jittered and muttered in the darkness but he was unable to see exactly the number that was there. Silhouettes that danced in the shadows made his heart flutter with a horrible sensation; one of which seemed familiar. "This is the face you wanted to see. We did not change leaders at all. I remain in charge." He stated simply in a loud dominant tone, all fear seemingly erased but it was just hidden below.

"How cowardly and pathetic is that? Just because we cut you up a little, you ran away!" The alpha of the Emerald's cried, provoking a round of laughter from his followers surrounding.

Malachai joined in on the laughing, thinking that Beck was little more than a play thing to be fucked with and broken and killed. He only caused problems for the emeralds, hurting theirs and not minding his own damn business like some Batman with a whole bunch of Robins. He hadn't been there the day they had cut him up, but he wished he had been. He wished he could have seen the blood and heard him squeal. He cackled quietly, in a nearly inhuman way. There was no kindness in his heart, no decency. Only meth and hatred ran through his veins now: meth, hatred, and greed.

With the Emeralds, Malachai felt free to do as he pleased with no consequences. Stealing, maiming, and destroying were all things he could do freely. All he had to do was stand by his own and fuck up anyone who got in their way, anyone who tried to take their turf away from them.

"How cowardly and pathetic is that? Just because we cut you up a little, you ran away!"

"Maybe we should cut him up again? 'Coward' would be a nice addition," Malachai chimed in, grinning like a wild hyena as he stepped out of the shadows, twirling his knife as though it was an extension of his arm instead of an entirely separate object. "We could carve him and the rest of his friends to pieces." The glee in his voice was disturbing on all levels. He was certifiably insane and seemed to revel in it. This version of Malachai was not at all like the one Elisa had known three years ago, that part of him did die...or maybe it was all a disguise, knowing she was rich and vulnerable.

He picked at the dirt under his nails with the knife as though it were nothing but a toothpick. He was itching for orders that would give him something to do, someone to hurt, or anything at all to save him from boredom. His red hair hung in his face and brown eyes - that were quite similar to Jess's - gleamed with anticipation. His eyes were set on the blonde man in front of him, wondering how someone like him could ever hold an alpha position in such a prominent gang. He couldn't be much older than Malachai was himself and that really pissed him off. Malachai respected his alpha, but one day he hoped to replace him and he had been working his way up for a while - befriending their leader and earning his trust, yearning for the day when the spot would be handed to him.

Beck Hades

As the group surrounding him began laughing his heart thudded hard in his chest, so hard that it was starting to become painful. He let his Adam's apple bob in his throat before pulling himself together and glaring around at these hidden figures. "Oh yes it is so funny. Wouldn't you be concerned if a mislead bunch of twats like I can see now were hunting you? It was to benefit myself and my group, but you were curious bastards who had nasty ways of picking up gossip." He snarled, ending his sentence with a cold and unfamiliar snigger.

"Maybe we should cut him up again? 'Coward' would be a nice addition,"
"We could carve him and the rest of his friends to pieces."

Beck could not help but fall his steps backwards as this stranger approached with a weapon clutched in his fist. In fact the youth did not want to do nothing more but to run for his life right now. As his eyes locked with the man ahead of him he frowned darkly, too afraid to allow the cogs in his mind start to work out his identity. "You really are a pack of sickos aren't you? I'm not a coward, I was logical." He explained to the red head male; though his hair was not similar to Millie's, it was the wildest of forest fires and lacked the crimson shade. "Don't you think you have done enough defenseless maiming?" Beck spat harshly. "You promised that this was a peaceful meeting, yet all I have seen so far is hostility."

The leader of the Emeralds unearthed himself from the shadows, with a more serious and controlled expression than that of the youth ahead of him. "Yes we did." The raven haired alpha stated in a monotone voice. Beck currently had one hand pressed to the back of his belt where the handgun remained. "So are you satisfied? This is my same old face." The blonde said, calming his tongue, though he did not answer this.

It was only in that split second of silence where Beck actually took a good look at his opponent. This was his first time seeing the man in the flesh, but had before seen him on paper. Elisa's ex. Jesses father. Elisa's DEAD boyfriend. Yes, this was the man, it was unmistakable what with the eyes being the same as that adoring little girl who had not so long ago been introduced to. THIS was the man who Elisa had stumbled into childish love with? It made him sick to his stomach. "YOU!..." Beck Hades growled, taking a few steps towards the male before Leon dashed up to his friend, halting him on the stop.

He did not believe it. Could he have the wrong guy?

No way.

"You really are a pack of sickos aren't you? I'm not a coward, I was logical."

Malachai gave a crooked smirk and shook his head. "A logical coward is still a coward, but what else would one expect from a Shard?" He choked out his rival gangs name as though it were the foulest name in human creation. His eyes remained lit up with a sick glee as he spoke however, and he was so close to to just pouncing on the other male. His smirk deepened when he noticed Beck taking a step back. "See, coward."

"Don't you think you have done enough defenseless maiming?"

"Of course not you sickly amoeba. There's always more maiming to do." Malachai stated, followed by a maniacal giggle of sorts. He truly looked insane, like he had a couple loose bolts in his head and he enjoyed it. All he needed was for his leader to say it was okay to attack, like a rabid pit bull, or for Beck to come at him. He reveled in chaos, anarchy, and causing others pain.

"So are you satisfied? This is my same old face."

Malachai looked to his leader, awaiting a response. "We may have made a promise to be peaceful and to stop coming after your friends if you showed yourself...but did I ever promise that we wouldn't come after you?" The black haired man said in the same monotone, flat voice though his eyes lit up for a moment. Malachai grinned, liking where this situation was headed, and flipped the knife several times over in his hands. He wouldn't use it immediately unless he had to. He liked to fight, he liked the adrenaline rush it gave him.

"YOU!..."

"Is that the face of recognition? I don't recall ever meeting a sniveling shard leader before," The red head mocked, though his interest was peaked. He had never met Beck before, but judging by his sudden outrage Beck had met him. Or at least, that's what he had assumed. "You look so angry? How about you tell your friend to let you go and come at me again. It'll be so much fun." Though Malachai was quite confused as to the cause of Beck's sudden anger towards him, he wanted to use it to his advantage...he wanted to draw blood tonight. Maybe not to kill, but he could definitely have some fun causing Beck a bit of pain. He grinned at the thought.

Beck Hades.

"A logical coward is still a coward, but what else would one expect from a Shard?"
"See, coward."

Beck could not help but begin laughing furiously, a big hearty laugh that came right from the bottom of his stomach. Of course is was fake and melodramatic but there was some amount of honest amusement there. He laughed so much it hurt his ribs. "So you think logic is cowardly? Wow what a dumbass." He said with a smirk, staring directly in the eyes of this crazed man with a harsh expression. "I don't fear you now. I know I am smarter than you and your pathetic brain and therefore better."

"Of course not you sickly amoeba. There's always more maiming to do."

"Somebody put this guy down! They kill crazy bastards like you don't they?" He spat harshly, now realising that Elisa's ex boyfriend was in fact now a complete nutjob. He wondered if this man was the same as this a few years ago, but he highly doubted it since Elisa stated she was at the very least fond of him. He hoped Elisa was not really for this type of guy, and would be greatly offended if he himself also fitted into that category. "You won't lay a finger on him." A quiet voice came out from behind him, which actually turned out to be Millie who was clearly frightened by this situation. After all she knew too well what these men did to people at she had sticthed up far too many wounds.

"We may have made a promise to be peaceful and to stop coming after your friends if you showed yourself...but did I ever promise that we wouldn't come after you?"

Beck narrowed his eyes and scowled, though his heart was thudding hard in his chest. He was scared, knowing he would be tracked down and there was nothing he could do about it. "How pathetic is that? What has caused this obsession with me? It is pointless. I'm going home as soon as I find out who this man is." He said pointing a finger in the red haired males direction.

"Is that the face of recognition? I don't recall ever meeting a snivelling shard leader before,"
"You look so angry? How about you tell your friend to let you go and come at me again. It'll be so much fun."

"A little bird told me you are supposed to be dead. Yet you stand here!!!" Beck snarled loudly, clenching his fists tight. He decided not to give away anymore information that may get himself and Elisa into trouble and so left the details there. "Explain that." He said darkly. "I also suggest you should watch your mouth. Your bark is bigger than your bite and for me it is the other way round my friend." The blonde explained, of course talking about the gun in his back pocket which was way more powerful than his small blade.

"So you think logic is cowardly? Wow what a dumbass."
"I don't fear you now. I know I am smarter than you and your pathetic brain and therefore better."

"Did I say that? No. I said a logical coward is still a coward. A real man never would have hid. A real man would have stood up for his friends long before now, regardless of his own safety." The red head spat, a snarl on his lips. He didn't take kindly to being called a dumb ass. "You're an arrogant little shit aren't you? You won't be by the end of the night. I'll have you screaming. You'll be begging for me to stop and then you'll know fear. Fear is pain and you will understand that well, seems you didn't get the message in the first place, love."

"You won't lay a finger on him."

Every single one of the Emeralds appeared to be laughing at that statement. "I won't, will I? Then how about I get my hands on you? You look like fun, all red and pretty. I'd love to get on you," Malachai stated, licking his lips in perhaps the most sickening way a man could.

"How pathetic is that? What has caused this obsession with me? It is pointless. I'm going home as soon as I find out who this man is."

"It's simple really, our 'obsession,' we don't need another supposed gang policing us. This is our world, we do as we please. You're an annoyance we want to rid ourselves of." The leader said with a roll of his eyes, as though the reason should be clear as day. "And go home? Not without a reminder to stay out of our business, as it appears you need another. And seems you have a fondness for Malachai here, maybe I'll let him do the honors. He's quite the artist when it comes to pain."

"A little bird told me you are supposed to be dead. Yet you stand here!!!"

Malachai's eyes narrowed in on Beck, processing what he had said. For a brief moment the crazy look he bared was gone, replaced by curiosity. Only one girl, that was supposed to be hours away, thought that he was dead. Only one family spread that rumor and there was only one person who might care enough to still be talking about it. At that realization, a new grin spread across his face. "Now there's something I haven't thought about in quite a while. I am supposed to be dead aren't I?" His voice was filled with amusement and a hint of darkness.

"But how would you come to hear that particular rumor? Seems I left it a town away? Could it be that your little bird lives here now? The Grace family has always been a funny sort," Malachai chuckled, holding his right elbow in his left hand while lightly tapping the blade against his chin. "Elisa, Elisa, Elisa. She was a good lay if I remember correctly. Tell me, is she still? I mean, I assume by your obvious give a shit you've fucked her. She must've told you about me, as I doubt her parents would."

"I also suggest you should watch your mouth. Your bark is bigger than your bite and for me it is the other way round my friend."

He approached Beck after that statement, rather coolly and more collected than before. "My bark is bigger than my bite, is it Shard?" Malachai whispered, inches from his face and he lightly ran the knife over Beck's cheek - not hard enough to wound him, but just enough to be a creepy mother fucker. "Don't underestimate me. I feel you'll regret it." His voice was still low, but in a split second the had moved the knife from Beck's face to his abdomen...

And there was nothing gentle about the way he sunk it into his flesh.

"You are a foul and sick bastard. My god it's not even human."

"You wound me, Sir! But at least I can admit that I'm a terrible person. I take what I want, but you're a killer playing a hero and that's just pathetic." Malachai's way of speaking was dramatic and humorous, and his voice held a small tone of psychotic glee. "I accept that I am the villain and it's quite the fun roll to play. I suggest you try it. You run a gang, it shouldn't be too hard."

"I don't have any idea how she was ever fond of you!"
"A good lay!? Is that all!? She was barely a teenager you fucking physco!"

"Barely teenager? I was barely a teenager. Good Lord, it's not like I was some thirty year old." Malachai rolled his eyes, clearly entertained by how angry Beck was getting over this girl. To Malachai, Elisa was just his first fuck and he got a good paycheck out of it. Sure, at one point he might have cared a smidgen but any hint of that was long gone and forgotten if it ever existed at all. It was hard to say these days, he didn't even know nor did he give the smallest iota of a shit. "She would have been quite fond of any distraction. I'm sure that's all you are now, if she's still as fucked in the head as she was then. I mean, last I heard she was giving blow jobs in bathrooms to any guy who'd give her a eight ball." That wasn't exactly a lie. He had heard a rumor once about her, and hadn't given it a thought until that moment.

He grinned at the look on The Shard Leader's face as the knife grazed his skin and got so much satisfaction out of it going into his skin. What happened next, however, he did not expect.

Malachai felt the bullets in his leg long before he even heard the gun go off. He snarled like an enraged lion, putting his hand to his knee as someone pulled at him to retreat. Blood covered his palm, sticky and red. "I'll kill you, Shard, if you're not dead already. But first I'll make you watch as I kill that whore Elisa," He threatened as his fellow gang members pulled him away. He made a quiet vow to himself that those weren't just words or a bluff. He meant it. No one would shoot at him and get away with it. He would make Beck pay in more ways than one and it would be fun for him.

Elisa couldn't help but watches the minutes on her phone change, waiting for a message she wasn't sure would ever come. Her anxiety was at a high and any moment she felt she could slip into a nervous breakdown. Something in her stomach screamed that things were not alright. She had put Jess to bed ages ago and the entire house was silent, save for the occasional chime of the clock or creak in the walls. All she had was her thoughts and she prayed that they would soon quiet and let her fall asleep.

But that never happened.

She continued to play the waiting game, knowing that if she didn't get some form of notification soon that she would drive back to the gang's little hideout and wait for whoever showed up to ask questions.

Beck Hades.

"You wound me, Sir! But at least I can admit that I'm a terrible person. I take what I want, but you're a killer playing a hero and that's just pathetic."
"I accept that I am the villain and it's quite the fun roll to play. I suggest you try it. You run a gang, it shouldn't be too hard."

Those words rung in Becks ears. He was right. He was a thousand percent correct about that and the fact that this was the truth left the blonde youth in silence with his hands trembling. The man paused for a second before forcing something out of his mouth that had less of a influence than that was actually wanted. He might as well have not even spoken. "There is a clear difference between me and you Malachai." He said, tone rather flat. Beck was not a good man, Beck had done some horrible things, yet he pretended he was not guilty.

"She would have been quite fond of any distraction. I'm sure that's all you are now, if she's still as fucked in the head as she was then. I mean, last I heard she was giving blow jobs in bathrooms to any guy who'd give her an eight ball."

As Beck lay upon the cold ground, clutching his wound and letting small whines escape his lips this was what played on his mind rather than his own blood leaking onto the floor. He believed him somewhat, though Beck wondered why Elisa would be doing that for money due to her family being rather well off. She knew she would accept any kind of affection from anyone, if it stirred her emotions enough to make her feel alive. Was that what Beck was? Did she even actually love him? Was he just someone to numb her pain? It made him sick that this stranger had persuaded him to think in this way, but now the idea's would not leave his brain.

"I'll kill you, Shard, if you're not dead already. But first I'll make you watch as I kill that whore Elisa,"

Beck was going insane. The noise around him became a muffled mess along with Millie's cries and Leon storming the carpark with as many footsteps as bullet shots. He just heard Malachai. Only his sickening voice and Beck's own soft crazed laughter. His vision was starting to blur due to blood loss but it was actually the tears spilling from his eyes that caused the clearness to fade. He would not remember what had left his mouth cause he simply felt like he currently was not existing, like he was already dead, because he knew Malachai was serious. "I...I can't wait to pump you full of lead..." The alpha hissed, before he fell into blackness.

He hoped he was dead.

-----

He lay there in bed, refusing to open his eyelids. It would have been so much easier if he was dead. Millie and Leon chatted quietly but he did his best to ignore them, in fact he struggled to hear them. It only took him a second to realize he felt very little pain, more like tingling in his wound. He had been drugged for pain relief. Beck wondered if Millie had given him a small amount of Morphine or Heroine, either way it did the job for once throbbing pain but he could barely lift his arms with out putting a lot of effort into thinking about the action. Either that or he was just dying and did not care enough to feel this pain.

Slowly he forced his eyes open and the blurry world appeared around him, it was just one of the Shard's flats and not even hospital. Though of course he expected this as any more help would require explanation and therefore unneeded trouble, but it seemed like the red haired girl had done a pretty fine job at patching him up anyway. Fresh white bandages covered the gash and his bloody shirt binned. Usually Beck would have been rather displeased at this as it meant they had seen the scars on his back once more, but at this current moment in time and the state he was in he could not even think straight.

Millie's hand stroked the hair from his face as she said some words that he could not even make a guess at, still this was comforting. He could just make out Leon's figure, pacing the floor furiously with what seemed like a mobile in his hand. Beck did not understand what he was doing.

Of course Leon was deciding whether or not to text Elisa or not. It did not look like he was close to making a choice either, he would just pace the ground all night.

Bex.
"You sound like me a few years ago."

At this point Rebecca was over giving any fucks to anyone in the room. Despite her relaxed demeanor, she was insanely stressed over the whole ordeal - just as she was any time Elisa got herself into a mess, but she would never complain. Elisa had probably picked her up out of the gutter far more times than she could count. "What are you, forty? You look barely any older than Elisa and I. A few years make the boys high and mighty, does it?"

"But people how stay stuff like that are all liars."

"I'm a lot of things, but I wouldn't say a liar is one. In fact, I'm pretty damn honest. I have noticed a lot of liars like to point fingers, though." Bex was louder than Elisa, louder and far less tactful. Not to mention she absolutely despised being accused of things she wasn't. Her face twisted into it's natural bitch position and she rolled her eyes when Leon seemed to have his eyes on everything but her.

Elisa.

"He won't leave you. He thinks your the best thing since sliced bread. It's annoying cause the flat's kinda lonely now. Man stealer."

Elisa's head was now swaying with the music and she picked up the bucket at Leon's urging, gripping onto it for dear life. "You're kind of nice when you're not a dick. It's okay though. I know you don't like me." She said with a giggle. "Every time I see you, I'm a mess. You must like he's crazy."

There wasn't any sadness in her face, it was more like she had just stated an amusing fact. "I promise I'm not always crazy. I'm usually like a mouse. Lately I'm just an angry mouse."

At this point Bex was giggling like an idiot as well. "A mouse? God, who are you without me? Normally you're like a sexy lioness. Have all the boys drooling."

Elisa stuck out her tongue towards her friend.

Bex.

"We ALL have our demons!"
"That doesn't mean we let them get into bad situ-"

Bex was reading this boy like a book and it wasn't hard either. She chuckled, lazily holding a red solo cup in her hand - more than likely filled with water as she was now trying to sober up since it didn't seem like anymore partying would get done tonight. "Had an epiphany, did you? You wear your emotions on your face. That's a bad habit; especially if you're a liar, though I don't see you being a very good one."

When Beck came running onto the scene like some kind of enraged knight, she assumed that this was Elisa's boyfriend. He looked so concerned about her and it made Rebecca a little sick to her stomach. She didn't like men. She'd play with them, use them to get what she wanted, but she didn't understand how anyone could love one. She had learned enough in her life to know that romance and love didn't exist, and that was the one thing she would never understand about Elisa.

Elisa passing out was enough to cause Rebecca to go right into panic mode. Her face immediately lost it's cool attitude and turned into concern, but before she could reach the other girl Beck had already scooped her up and was getting ready to leave.

"Are you coming Bex? We could drop you off if you live near by or you can come see if Elisa gets home?"

"Of course I'm coming. You're gonna need someone to cover for you if you get caught and it just so happens that Elisa's parents adore me. If they just saw you two they'd call the cops. Duh." She rolled her eyes and waved her hand as if she was brushing him off like a flea.

---

The house was completely dark and everyone had gone to bed, and Rebecca was able to punch in the door code without waking anyone. Thankfully, Bex didn't notice anything that would say the Grace parents were home. Normally something would be left out as an indicator; a laptop, car keys, her mother's various files. "God, what would you two do without me? Imagine had I chosen not to come. Would you have just knocked? Come, take her upstairs." She motioned, already leading the way to the bedroom.

She had been here enough when Elisa and her had first met to remember the layout of the house. The place in all it's grandeur never phased her, which was another reason the girls got along so well - they both had billions at their disposal and neither of them were the least bit impressed with it. In fact, the only thing that had ever made Rebecca the least bit jealous about Elisa was her closet. With how into fashion Diana Grace was, Elisa had everything fresh off the runways...and it drove Bex crazy that the seventeen year old chose to wear department store t-shirts and jeans most days. Who would wear converse when they had Alexander McQueens at their disposal?

Elisa.

It didn't take that long to get to her house, but Elisa was already waking back up - still completely trashed and feeling worse than before. The coke had worn off, but she was still feeling the come down from it and it was like the worst hang over of her life...while she was still drunk. She made a sound that was almost inhuman and rolled her head into the space between Beck's shoulder and chest. "You smell soo good. I looove you. You have a nice face. I like your dick too." She rambled on and giggled.

"Goooooood, I'm gonna be so fat tomorrow. Bex, make me throw up more. Alcohol has waaaay too many calories. Mom's gonna be mad. She notices like half a pound, I sweeeeeaaaaar. 'Fat girls don't make it to the runway.' Always trying to book jobs I hate. Stupid, I never go. But she's right. I'm already fat. Gotta go to the gym now." Elisa continued to rant on about various things, being louder than anyone probably needed her to be.

"God, what would you two do without me? Imagine had I chosen not to come. Would you have just knocked? Come, take her upstairs."

The two boys scoffed a little and did not instantly give a response before Beck piped up "I'd have pick-locked the door" he said with a smile but it was quite likely that this would take Beck a good 40 minutes or so. "I'd have smashed the window." Leon stated, rather bluntly and only half sarcastically. With Elisa over Becks shoulder and Bex and Leon trailing behind, they headed upstairs.

"You smell soo good. I looove you. You have a nice face. I like your dick too."

Beck could not help but allow the widest of grins to grow on his mouth. "Shh...shh..." He hushed her amusing and quite flattering words while pressing kisses to her cheek and jaw line. "I'm really glad about that. I love you too." He told her, but it was almost like he was talking to a child who he was trying to calm down before they were going to bed. Leon flashed a grin over in Beck's direction upon her sexual comments before rolling his eyes.

Leon stood awkwardly around the corner of her bedroom, suddenly looking very uncomfortable and way out of place. "You have a big fucking house." He chuckled before remaining silent and just watching the group, realising that he did not actually intend to stop by. It was weird seeing him uneasy, as normally he was bursting with confidence and intimidating body language. Beck plopped Elisa down onto the bed before laying there too and pulling her into his chest, trying to persuade her to rest. He snaked his arm around her, holding her tight as though she was going to be tugged away at any second. "I'm so pissed at you...you have no idea how pissed I am at you. Two hours you said! Even then it's not fair or alright." He explained, but the tone of his voice did not sound all that angry.

Gotta go to the gym now."

Beck squeezed his fist together hard, wanting to punch something to allow his rage to flow. It was the first time he heard about her Mother having any influence on Elisa's eating habits, and it enraged him more than anything else. "I can't believe that. She's disgusting. Runway girls sometimes don't make it back home from the runway. She must be a sick woman your Mother. You're gorgeous Elisa. You need more food not less food...P...please..Let's not talk about this now." He said, trailing off at the end and giving her a squeeze.

Bex.
"I'd have pick-locked the door"

"I'd have smashed the window."

Rebecca stopped and stared at them for a moment, slack-jawed. It wasn't a response she expected, but then again she wasn't at all sure what too expect from these two. "Elisa keeps interesting company these days. The guys we played with would have tossed her to the nearest boy willing to take her home. And you two would break into her house. Is that better or worse? I don't know." She knew that probably came out way worse than she had originally meant it, but she shrugged it off. It wasn't exactly a lie. If they were both to fucked up to do anything, they usually woke up with idea where they were.

"Anyways, good thing you won't be getting arrested then. Do you really think you could bypass their security system by picking a lock or God forbid, break a window? I have a feeling you're not from around this neighborhood." She shook her head. She knew Elisa had opted to go to a public school and figured she had met these two boys there. Some choices Elisa made, Rebecca wouldn't understand to save her life.

Elisa.

"You have a big fucking house."

"Really? I thought it was kind of small." Her voice was teasing and she giggled as she said it, obviously she was joking. She knew her house was god awfully huge. "They need a house big enough to contain their massive egos." She looked at Leon and nearly laughed again about how funny he looked here - even more out of place than Beck. Her mother would have a heart attack if she saw Leon, with all of his tattoos. She almost wished she would catch him here, though that was unlikely.

"I'm so pissed at you...you have no idea how pissed I am at you. Two hours you said! Even then it's not fair or alright."

"Don't be mad, B. I love you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just wanted to have fun. You don't have to worry always." She pouted and snuggled even further into Beck, trying to warm herself and wishing that her headache would just go away, along with the funny numbness she felt in her teeth and back of her throat.

Bex.

"She must be a sick woman your Mother."

Rebecca laughed out loud at that, though she quickly covered her mouth. "Have you ever met the woman? She'll suck the life out of a room with just a look. Talk about someone trying to push their failed dream onto their daughter. She was never tall enough to get jobs...probably not pretty enough either. All of the blonde weaves in the world couldn't get that bitch a spot on a runway...or even a Penney's catalog. Elisa's 5'7 and pretty, it infuriates Diane that she won't do anything with it." Bex knew a lot about Elisa's family, not everything, but a lot more than most people. She had hung around enough and was pretty observant enough - or really good at eavesdropping, either way - to figure things out.

"Her dad's really quiet. Doesn't say much. He's hard to figure out, but I'm told he's really great at whatever the fuck he does, and a lot more personable at his business meetings. Haven't got to sit in one of those yet. Eventually, maybe, if I get an internship after high school." The thing about Bex is, along with her bitchiness, she could talk for hours about anything; especially if it was about other people. She liked being able to throw out facts and other stupid shit that people probably didn't need to know. "Anyways, Leon are you stay-" She was cut off.

"Lissy are you having a sleep over, why are there so many people here?" Said the little red head standing in the door frame with sleepy eyes and holding a teddy bear.

"Holy fuck someone woke the Gremlin." Bex said, noticeably uneasy.

Elisa/Jess

At the sound of her daughter's voice, Elisa immediately sat up in the bed and looked nervously at everyone in the room. "Jessie? What are you doing up?" She said, trying very hard not to slur her words despite her head spinning and while she sounded less drunk - you could definitely still tell she wasn't sober. Her heart was pounding so hard she thought she was going to have a heart attack. Of the people in her room, only one knew that Jess was her kid...and she had that solace, but she didn't remember that she had said something pretty damning to Leon earlier in the night.

"I heard you leave and waited for you to get back. I can't sleep when you're not here." Jess said with a pout, grumpy and very tired. She wobbled sleepily over to Leon and looked up at him, a tiny mouse in comparison. "Who are you? The mean one is Bex." The little girl glared in Rebecca's direction, and Rebecca responded by sticking her tongue out. Jess returned her attention to Leon. "And Beck is a secret right now. Are you a secret? My real name is Jessa, but Lissy calls me Jessie and everyone else calls me Jess."

"Elisa keeps interesting company these days. The guys we played with would have tossed her to the nearest boy willing to take her home. And you two would break into her house. Is that better or worse? I don't know."

"Better." Beck hissed venomously shooting her a deadly glare across the room. It was obvious he was massively offended to being so much as compared to those types of guys. "MUCH better." He spat again, clenching his fists slightly and trying to cool his temper. "And Elisa isn't playing with me...So think before you open your gob."

"Anyways, good thing you won't be getting arrested then. Do you really think you could bypass their security system by picking a lock or God forbid, break a window? I have a feeling you're not from around this neighborhood."

"To be fair I didn't really care much at the time I just wanted her inside and well." Beck explained, clearly growing quite a disliking to Bex. After all she was the one who asked Elisa to leave and get herself into trouble. Of course he could not blame her as her friend did not know of the situation at hand, but still he did blame her. He wanted someone to blame. "And not everyone lives in a fancy ass house with parents who shit money." The blonde explained, before falling rather silent as he thought of his Father at home, alone, only with his paintings for company. Beck pulled out his mobile and held it loosely, deciding whether or not a text to him was needed.

"Don't be mad, B. I love you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just wanted to have fun. You don't have to worry always."

"I know...I'm so-" Beck was rudely cut off by Leon who decided to chime in at that point. "He does have to worry always." The tattooed man told her with a sigh. "Take a look at his stomach and his back and then maybe you will remember why he has to w-" Leon stopped, realising Bex was in the room and that this conversation was not really useful until Elisa was sober anyway. He regretted talking up.

Elisa's 5'7 and pretty, it infuriates Diane that she won't do anything with it."
"Her dad's really quiet. Doesn't say much. He's hard to figure out, but I'm told he's really great at whatever the fuck he does, and a lot more personable at his business meetings. Haven't got to sit in one of those yet. Eventually, maybe, if I get an internship after high school."

"The industry is toxic and I don't see how any Mother could pressure their kid into that knowing the consequence. Who gives a fuck about her dream anyway, what about Elisa's dreams?!" Beck ranted, clearly very wound up with the description of Elisa's parents. "I hope I don't ever get to meet your Mum...I'm very likely to want to punch her." He said only half joking while giving the brunette a tight squeeze.

"Anyways, Leon are you stay-"
"Lissy are you having a sleep over, why are there so many people here?"
"Holy fuck someone woke the Gremlin."
"Jessie? What are you doing up?"
"I heard you leave and waited for you to get back. I can't sleep when you're not here."

"Awh Jess I'm sorry we were so noisy and woke you! Aren't we bad!?" Beck said, changing the tone of his voice drasticly to something softer and more childlike. He stumbled out of bed and walked towards the small red headed child before crouching to her level on his toes with a grin. "Well Lissy is back now and we are going to be as quiet as a mouse from now on to make sure you can get some sleep alright? How about you go back to bed for me? Is that alright?" He said to the little girl, ruffling her hair with his large seemingly oversized hands. It was weird how good Beck was with Jess.

"Who are you? The mean one is Bex."
"And Beck is a secret right now. Are you a secret? My real name is Jessa, but Lissy calls me Jessie and everyone else calls me Jess."

Leon almost fell over as the small child walked towards him. He looked absolutely terrified and rather intimidated by Jess. It was clear that children were a rare encounter with him and that he was totally oblivious about how to behave and so just came across as awkward and uneasy. "Erm...I am also a secret. A big secret alright?" He told the girl, still edging away from her as though she might bite him if she got too close. "This is Leon, Jessie. He's a good friend of mine." Beck introduced the two, a slight sense of nervousness in his tone. He wished she would have just stayed in bed.

Bex.
"Better."
"And Elisa isn't playing with me...So think before you open your gob."

"Oh look, we got ourselves one of those "holier than thou" types. Get over yourself. I'm thinking you've got a secret or two that doesn't make you "much better" than anyone else." The girl stated, rolling her eyes so hard they could have popped out of her head. "Do you think you're like her knight or something?-" She was about to continue but Elisa shot her a glare that was clearly telling her to shut the fuck up and looked ready to toss a pillow.

"And not everyone lives in a fancy ass house with parents who shit money."

"Aw, what? You jealous? Why the Hell are you getting pissy with me? Believe it or not, I didn't force Elisa out tonight. She came of her own volition. She's a big girl who makes her own decisions. Sorry if you don't approve." Rebecca snapped, clearly not fond of Beck's growing attitude towards her. "And before you she was a lot worse, so why don't you just take solace in that?"

Elisa.
"Take a look at his stomach and his back and then maybe you will remember why he has to w-"

"Oh my God, would you kindly shut the FUCK up?" Elisa growled, throwing the pillow at him that she had originally intended for Bex. All the negative energy in the room was making her feel worse than she was already physically feeling; the come down from the drugs was just making her grumpy and frustrated on top of the headache, fever, and general flu-like feelings. Not to mention her exhaustion. "Sorry, but I've got a dad. I don't need another one, okay?" She slurred, still glaring at Leon like he was the spawn of Satan. The more he spoke, the more she hated him.

"I hope I don't ever get to meet your Mum...I'm very likely to want to punch her."

"I hope you never meet her either. She'll take you away from me." She pouted, curling into the pillow she hadn't thrown at Leon. "She's evil. I want to leave here. I'm almost eighteen. I'll run away then. Far, far away. Maybe I'll change my name and go to a small town in the middle of nowhere, where no one knows who I am."

Jess.
"Awh Jess I'm sorry we were so noisy and woke you! Aren't we bad!?"
"Well Lissy is back now and we are going to be as quiet as a mouse from now on to make sure you can get some sleep alright? How about you go back to bed for me? Is that alright?"

The three year old pushed out her lower lip in a pout and latched on to the boy in front of her, hanging on for dear life. "No. I want to stay with you. You're my friend." She was growing quite attached to Beck since he had been around for a while. She was obviously very tired after waiting around for Elisa's through the night, and she let out a tiny yawn as proof of that.

"Erm...I am also a secret. A big secret alright?"
"This is Leon, Jessie. He's a good friend of mine."

She buried her head into Beck's shoulder, very much like Elisa did on occasion and looked at Leon from the side of her eye. "Why does he have drawings on his arms? Mama gets really mad when I use my markers like that." Jess said to the blonde, though she never took her eyes of Leon. He was large and little scary, not at all like everyone else she was use to being around, but she was more curious than afraid of him. It made him a lot less intimidating when he looked like he had just encountered a monster. "He looks like Lissy when she sees a spider."

"Oh look, we got ourselves one of those "holier than thou" types. Get over yourself. I'm thinking you've got a secret or two that doesn't make you "much better" than anyone else."
"Do you think you're like her knight or something?-"

"I don't see how you have even drawn that conclusion from anything. I haven't said shit...You don't even fucking know me!" Beck spat, now getting rather angered by this girls presence. She was not even welcome here. He did not care if she was Elisa's friend, her being here was still a privilege and he was totally willing to throw her out the window. "I'm not a knight I'm just trying to look after her unlike you, you dumb bitc-" Beck stopped and snapped his mouth shut, not because he regretted what he had said, but because the sight of Jess reminded him she was in the room.

"Aw, what? You jealous? Why the Hell are you getting pissy with me? Believe it or not, I didn't force Elisa out tonight. She came of her own volition. She's a big girl who makes her own decisions. Sorry if you don't approve."
"And before you she was a lot worse, so why don't you just take solace in that?"

"You have no idea what you are spitting out of your mouth. Seriously it's you starting with me and not the other way round so would you kindly shut your gob." Beck spat one last time before trying to seal up the argument. The whole night had given him the most horrible of headaches and he was growing tired of the whole situation. Part of him just wanted to turn over and go to sleep, possibly not waking up for a good few months, if not forever.

"No. I want to stay with you. You're my friend."

"Awh." Beck said smiling and tugging the small girl into a cuddle. "Your my friend too Jess! But we can play tomorrow okay? It's night time now so we should all be sleeping, not playing!" He looked around, realising how contradictory that was since they were all wide awake,

"Oh my God, would you kindly shut the FUCK up?"
"Sorry, but I've got a dad. I don't need another one, okay?"

Even though it was unexpected Leon caught the pillow with one hand and no effort at all, scowling so much that something similar to an actual growl passed his lips. "Well its quite obvious that I'm so wanted here." Said Leon, trying to keep his cool but his face was slowly turning red from trying to contain his anger. "So I'm going to g-?"

"Why does he have drawings on his arms? Mama gets really mad when I use my markers like that."
"He looks like Lissy when she sees a spider."

Beck chuckled lightly as she tucked herself away behind his shoulder at the sight of Leon. The blonde could understand that his appearance was not the most settling to some. "Don't worry he's not going to bite you! Just like spiders, he is more scared of you than you are of him." He chucked, now pretending to nibble on Jess like he was some kind of feral beast.

"They aren't drawings. The are tattoos." Leon said rather bluntly, still clearly not sure of how to approach someone so young. He rolled up his sleeves to display his full arm and put them out in front of him to show the little girl, twirling his arms so she could see them all. Most of the sleeve was just one never ending dragon surrounded by unfamiliar markings.

Beck gave Jess a nudge to have a closer look. "They are like drawings, but you have them on your skin and they stay forever. Some people really like them and find them very pretty...and others don't." He explained to the redhead. "Do you like to draw and paint? I do." Every mention of art reminded him that his Father was alone at home with nobody for company.

"I don't see how you have even drawn that conclusion from anything. I haven't said shit...You don't even fucking know me!"
"You have no idea what you are spitting out of your mouth. Seriously it's you starting with me and not the other way round so would you kindly shut your gob."

"Oh honey, you listen and you listen good. I didn't start anything. You were the one who got offended by whatever it was I said. You're the one who's acting like you're so much better than me. But guess who cleaned her vomit when you weren't around or took her to the hospital when she needed it? Who was the one who talked to her for hours on end when she needed to calm down for one reason or another? Who can relate to her when you can't? Me. I've been around for years now, before you even knew her name. You can pretend I'm nothing special or that I'm no good, but I am her friend. I will always be her friend. You're just a boy who might or might not stick around for a while. So why don't you take a good long minute to calm down, Short Fuse, because I am not the person you want to start with." Bex, whose demeanor for the most part had been relaxed, suddenly took a turn where her eyes darkened - much like Elisa's would - and stared him down for a good minute. She wasn't a bad person, maybe a girl who made some questionable decisions, but the way he was speaking to her was starting to piss her off...and it took a lot to piss that girl off.

"Your my friend too Jess! But we can play tomorrow okay? It's night time now so we should all be sleeping, not playing!"

"You're awake and Lissy says you had an ouchie and needed lots of sleeps. Are you better now?" Jess asked, eyes wide and pretty concerned looking for a toddler. "Lissy was very sad about your ouchie. More scared than when I fell off the trampoline and that's a lot of scared. She ran soo fast."

"Well its quite obvious that I'm so wanted here."

"She throws pillows at anyone when she's coming down. I wouldn't get too tore up about it." Bex said with a shrug, she had had one thrown at her more than a few times in her life. She grinned at Leon's reaction though, and how his face turned the shade of a tomato. She couldn't help but notice that these guys seemed quick to anger and a little controlling, and wondered why Elisa kept them around. Controlling was not a quality that Elisa particularly enjoyed in people, so it was a little unusual.

"Don't worry he's not going to bite you! Just like spiders, he is more scared of you than you are of him."

Jess giggled when he pretended to gnaw on her, the infectious giggle of a toddler.

"They are like drawings, but you have them on your skin and they stay forever. Some people really like them and find them very pretty...and others don't."
"Do you like to draw and paint? I do."

With the nudge from Beck, Jess approached Leon and stared at his tattoos with wide eyed wonder. She grabbed Leon's hand to look at them more closely, her tiny hand looking comically small on his arms. "Can I get a tat too?" The way she said the word "tattoo" came out sounding more like two words than one. "They are pretty." She held her arms up to Leon, gesturing for him to pick her up so she could get a closer look.

"I draw all the time, Lissy has lots of my pictures." She smiled proudly and pointed at a couple Elisa had taped to her vanity. "I like to color and I like crayons and I have lots of stuff. Will you draw with me Beck? Lissy does sometimes." All of her "th's" sounded more like 'F' sounds.

Beck was fuming. He wanted to punch something. He needed to hit something. This girl was taking what he was saying way out of proportion and acting as though the whole world span around her and began turning the whole conversation between then into a battle over who looked after Elisa more. He found it dumb yet it still had triggered a nerve inside him that made him want to blow, but he refused to set alight in front of Elisa and Jess, but most of all he wasn't going to let some brats words get the bet of him. The blonde clenched his fists so tight his fingernails left angry red marks on his palm, almost drawing blood. "Just cause I have shut my mouth doesn't mean I agree with you. I haven't keep my cool for your sake either bitch." He hissed quietly, hopefully out of ear shot of the young girl in the room.

"You're awake and Lissy says you had an ouchie and needed lots of sleeps. Are you better now?"
"Lissy was very sad about your ouchie. More scared than when I fell off the trampoline and that's a lot of scared. She ran soo fast."

"It's getting better my little sparrow. You don't need to worry about me I'm big and strong!" Beck chuckled while sarcastically flexing his muscles and pretending to push the air. "Lissy was sad cause she's lovely and cares about us. She cares about you lots and lots and you should make sure Lissy is always happy and alright too. Can you do that for me?" He smiled, turning to his girlfriend but his grin faltered when he locked with her pupils.

The blonde approached Elisa, planting a kiss on her head and pulling his arms around her so she lay comfortably in them. "Tell me when you want me to kick everyone out, you must be tired." He whispered softly. "How are you feeling now? Do you need me to get you anything?"

"She throws pillows at anyone when she's coming down. I wouldn't get too tore up about it."

"Yeah well it's just that..." Leon raised an eyebrow and pulled the pillow to his chest, crushing it with his large arms. "I haven't ever exactly had a pillow violently thrown at me before. It's a odd habit." He said, the words sounding like they needed a laugh or some sarcasm to finish it off, but the brunette had none at all. Being honest Leon was trying to work out whether he liked this girl or not. Sure enough she was attractive with a rocket like personality but she had quickly made it clear she was not willing to get in bed with him. Leon did not really know how to do the full 'friends' thing anyway, deeming her not useful to him. He wondered if it would just be best to ignore her and leave now since Beck and Elisa were not home safe. He had done his job after all...

"Can I get a tat too?"
"They are pretty."

Leon looked absolutely gob smacked when the small girl asked to be lifted into his arms and was faced with the most difficult situation he had ever come across. Part of him felt privileged to be trusted by Jess and the other part of him was confused and scared. What did this tiny being want from him?! Too look at his magical colourful arms!? Surely not! The large man hesitated before picking her up with ease and balancing her on his hip, the other arm stretched out so she could see up close. It was the weirdest thing to look at. "T...that okay?" He asked the small red head.

"I draw all the time, Lissy has lots of my pictures."
"I like to color and I like crayons and I have lots of stuff. Will you draw with me Beck? Lissy does sometimes."

"Of course I will sunshine! I'd love to. Just...just not tonight its really really late and you and Elisa need some sleep or else your going to be real tired tomorrow. You should go back to bed soon and if you do I promise I'll draw with you tomorrow. I pinky swear it." Beck pleaded with the small girl, his eyes desperate and voice strained.

"It's getting better my little sparrow. You don't need to worry about me I'm big and strong!"
"Lissy was sad cause she's lovely and cares about us. She cares about you lots and lots and you should make sure Lissy is always happy and alright too. Can you do that for me?"

"Do you love Lissy like Lissy loves me? Cuz she loves you lots and lots, too. She said so." Jess said with an innocent grin on her face. "But I can take care of Lissy if you do too. Because I love her a lots too."

"How are you feeling now? Do you need me to get you anything?"

Elisa groaned in response to his question, but curled herself into Beck, taking comfort in the warm he provided. "I need you to stay right here. You're warm and smell nice. Bex and Leon can sleep wherever. I don't care. Lots of rooms. Breakfast in the morning. House is too quiet most of the time anyway." Her words came out muffled, since her face was pressed against his shirt. "Parents won't be home until after dinner tomorrow."

She was so tired, her brown hair had fallen into a mess around her face, and the make up she was wearing had long since rubbed off - the only evidence that she had worn any was the mascara that had lightly flaked. "I'm sorry, Beck. I love you." Her words tapered off at the end, she was falling asleep.

"I haven't ever exactly had a pillow violently thrown at me before. It's a odd habit."

"There's a first time for everything and at least it's not something hard like her cell phone or a shoe or something." Bex shrugged, clearly growing tired from a night of arguing and drinking, she was feeling hungover and pretty gross. Odds were that she'd go crash in one of the guest rooms. "You should probably stay here for the night. The neighbors would probably question why a large, beautiful tattooed man was coming out of The Grace House so early in the morning." She teased, giving him a wink.

"T...that okay?"

Jessa let out one of the happiest giggles you could only ever hear from a child's mouth and clapped her hands. She had never been held by someone so large in her life. Elisa was taller than the average girl, sure, but not by that much and even though Beck was pretty large in comparison to her - Leon was like a mountain that she was happily placed on top of. She had an expression on her face that made her look far too much like Elisa. "Can I draw on you?" The little girl asked, eyes shinning with hopeful amusement, and then she wrapped her arms around him in a tiny hug.

"Of course I will sunshine! I'd love to. Just...just not tonight its really really late and you and Elisa need some sleep or else your going to be real tired tomorrow. You should go back to bed soon and if you do I promise I'll draw with you tomorrow. I pinky swear it."

"I want to draw with Lawn too." Jessa said, still sitting happily in Leon's arms - though she couldn't properly say his name. She was now quite taking to the large man, if only because it was Beck and Elisa's friend and he had pictures on his arms.

"And Elisa's sick again, huh? She's always sick. But I think she's less sick when you're here. She stole one of my cinnamon apples yesterday. She never does that." Jess didn't really know why she rarely saw her sister eat, or why she came home sometimes smelling like weird adult grape juice she wasn't allowed to have, but she knew when Elisa seemed a little bit better...even if she was still a little sick.

The little girl yawned, and curled up while still in Leon's arms, clearly not ready to get down yet but very sleepy. The sun wasn't up yet, but the sky was definitely getting lighter with each passing minute and it was long passed her bed time. "I think Lissy's my real mama. She loves me the most." The toddler's words were a whisper, almost like she was telling a secret and not falling asleep in a large stranger's arms.

"Do you love Lissy like Lissy loves me? Cuz she loves you lots and lots, too. She said so."
"But I can take care of Lissy if you do too. Because I love her a lots too."

Beck sniggered a little to his self as his memories flashed back to the way Elisa grabbed at the bed sheets on a evening before shaking his head at the young girl "No no I think its a tiny bit different. There are many kinds of love, but all are very important." The blonde told her, still chuckling as he glanced over at Elisa who still lay in bed. He dared a cheeky wink.

"I need you to stay right here. You're warm and smell nice. Bex and Leon can sleep wherever. I don't care. Lots of rooms. Breakfast in the morning. House is too quiet most of the time anyway."
"Parents won't be home until after dinner tomorrow."

"You heard the lady!" Beck exclaimed to the pair but it was not actually clear whether or not they did hear her as she was basically talking into his chest. "You have the option to stay here and she's tired so...bugger off!" He told them, but tried to soften it with comedic effect. "Pick a bed, same bed, separate beds, I don't care." Beck chuckled while tossing a glance over to his friend and the newly introduced female.

Leon tutted and rolled his eyes but refused to meet eye to eye with Bex. "She's already made it pretty damn obvious she's not interested. Not much of a party girl for someone who dresses like one." He said darkly, maybe sounding more rude than he actually intended. Part of him wanted her to climb into bed with him but the other part was trying to tell himself he didn't care. He was just so sick of waking up to Millie knowing that she would have rather been in bed with Beck.

"You should probably stay here for the night. The neighbors would probably question why a large, beautiful tattooed man was coming out of The Grace House so early in the morning."

"So now you start flirting with me eh?" Leon chuckled warmly. "They might have seen Beck around once or twice by now. We are kinda similar though he lacks the tattoo's and the big coc-" The brunette snapped his jaw's shut realising he was still holding Jess. just cutting his inappropriate comments short. He just tried to pretend he had not said anything.

"Can I draw on you?"

"Erm...well you can draw on Beck." Leon told the small girl, refusing her offer. "Spoil sport." Spat Leon, who clearly would just lay shirtless all day and let Jess scribble on him in black permanent marker.

"I want to draw with Lawn too."

Beck frowned, noticing how deviant she was being about going back to bed. "Tomorrow love." He replied simply.

"And Elisa's sick again, huh? She's always sick. But I think she's less sick when you're here. She stole one of my cinnamon apples yesterday. She never does that."

Something sparked up inside Beck's heart when she informed him of this. Any sign, even the tiniest sign of her recovery was amazing. "Really? That's really good. Really good. We should keep encouraging her to eat good food so don't get angry when she takes some of yours. I'll buy you some more if your that upset about it."

"I think Lissy's my real mama. She loves me the most."

Of course Leon didn't know and pretended that he did not care about Elisa's private life but her family did seem a little odd to have this age gap between Elisa and Jess. Her ginger hair. Elisa's perfect features. To him it did not add up. But who was he to pry? He didn't know anything. He did not need to. He was just Beck's sub and not important to his girlfriend one bit. It was none of his business so he pretended he did not have questions. Things were already way to complicated.

Maybe he would ask Beck when alone sometime.

"Alright then time for bed little sparrow. Come on let me tuck you in." Beck said, picking Jess from Leon and taking her out into the hallway. "You two should sleep too. Spare rooms are to the left. I...I'll see you in the morning" He said while patting his friend on the back firmly with eyes blazing with admiration. "Thanks." He murmured, remembering what Leon had done for the couple that night even though he did not really need to. The tattooed man just gave a soft grin and headed towards the bedrooms.

"No no I think its a tiny bit different. There are many kinds of love, but all are very important."

Elisa had been sleepily watching their conversation. The wink, in her sleepy state, still made her cheeks flush and she covered her head with her comforter. "I'll be loving you a lot tomorrow." She told him with a grin, still more interested in snuggling him then anything else going on in the room.

"You heard the lady!"
"You have the option to stay here and she's tired so...bugger off!"
"Pick a bed, same bed, separate beds, I don't care."

"She's already made it pretty damn obvious she's not interested. Not much of a party girl for someone who dresses like one."

"Awh, is Leon frustrated?" Bex said with a playful grin. He was attractive and she would sleep with him, though she failed to see what she would get out of it and that was really the only reason she got around these days. She used people and they used her, it was a nice little system she had going on. It was like business and she could handle that. In her mind, anyway else was just too complicated and messy and pointless. Still though, she enjoyed teasing and flirting as much as the next girl and maybe she could let herself have fun for one night. She contemplated it over and over in her head.

"So now you start flirting with me eh?"
"They might have seen Beck around once or twice by now. We are kinda similar though he lacks the tattoo's and the big coc-"

The darked haired woman raised an eyebrow. "Well you're pretty and I'm pretty, and I'm also pretty bored. Besides, don't you want to prove to me that last bit? Or were you bluffing?" She winked at him, keeping her words pretty G rated knowing that there was a child in the room. Even though she didn't particularly like kids and didn't understand how Elisa could be so good with them.

"Erm...well you can draw on Beck."

Jess's face promptly turned into a pout and she stared at Leon with large eyes. "Okay," She said, voice filled with sad disappointment and her lower lip pushed out. Manipulative little shit, she knew that the sad puppy dog face always got to Elisa. She was a spoiled little thing, but she was damn cute.

"Really? That's really good. Really good. We should keep encouraging her to eat good food so don't get angry when she takes some of yours. I'll buy you some more if your that upset about it."

"I'm not upset." Her face immediately perked up and she gave him a grin filled with her tiny white teeth. "I have lots. Lissy can have some and so can you. They're my favorite." She knew enough to know that it was weird that Lissy never ate and she chalked it up to being sick, because when she had a tummy ache she didn't want to eat either.

"Alright then time for bed little sparrow. Come on let me tuck you in."

The little girl yawned and latched on to Beck with very little complaint as he carried her back to her room, all decked out in pink and princess decoration, with far more toys than any normal child could ever have. "Why is Lissy always sick? Is she gonna get better, ever? She's too sleepy to play hide and seek or have tea parties. She use to all the time." She was half asleep when she was talking to him. "Mama says she's lazy, but I don't think so. She's mean. I hear them yell a lot."

Bex followed Leon towards the bedroom doors, equal parts not wanting him to walk into the hired help's rooms and she was still trying to figure out the other part. "Don't pick the wrong room," Bex quietly called out to Leon, that same teasing grin on her face as before. "You don't want to see Allison in her sleep. It's terrifying. She sleeps with a weird mud mask saying it'll make her look younger. Unless you're into that." She giggled.
