Millie

Image Being all too honest, Millie has the sterotype of being a complete slut although she is very helpful to the Shards. She is medically skilled and has pulled them out of trouble so many times in the past. She has her eye on Beck, but he pays no attention to her.

Leon
Image

The Lieutenant of the Shards. A man who is willing to devote his life to his gang and is now the male who is in the running to be leader. This is not the male who was planning to force the Shards to fight. Beck is very close to him and appreciates his help.

So begins...

(I don't know what to do next. Elisa could do whatever or we could skip to the next morning or later on or whatever. Do what you please with your next post. I will go with it. So sorry for how late this is, been rather busy and also what with the site down.)

Beck Hades.

The blonde youths steps were fast and strong, chin up and eyes burning with the raging fire in his heart. Everyone knows that once a flame is lit it slowly burns whatever is fuelling it and that idea displayed reasoning for the tears slowly running down his cheeks. All he wanted was to help her, and that was the thanks he got? Elisa had disobeyed him and also disrespected the person who had saved many of his friends lives before and also helped him out at his lowest of times.

Of course Millie would be the first person he went to. Naturally she would be in The Shards flat 18 like always. She had a tendency for hanging around until it was clear that she was able to get no more company out of the day. Beck shoved open the door to sure enough find the red head sprawled across the sofa with a TV remote in one hand and pupils fixed upon the screen. No other member of his group seemed to be wandering around so late, just her and him. The boy let out a quiet cough to let her know of his arrival and doing so caused her to leap up onto her feet as though she had just been presented with some king.

"What are you doing here so late Beck?" Millie questioned, before seating herself again at the right side leaving space for Beck to sit, which he did. "I...Its been a long day. What with the gang and other personal things." He explained briefly, voice still having its leadership tone but it wobbled in places far too much to be stern. At that point the red head noticed the tears in his eyes and grabbed his hand giving it a squeeze of comfort. "Is there anything I can help you with? Want to talk-!"

The blonde pushed the girl backwards until he glared down at her with angry sad eyes. Naturally, the girl did not resist, and as their lips crashed together the pairs tongues twirled in each others mouths. The difference between them were that Becks kiss held no kind of compassion or pleasant feeling, and sadly Millie caught onto this but a large grin still grew in between kisses knowing that she had caught the attention of the Shards gang leader...

Of course all Becks mind could think about how bad Elisa had made him felt. It was like she had stabbed him in his spine after he had tried to give her a hand.

He had never experienced that in a mental sense. The scars on his back stung with red hot pain.

Beck Hades.

Well things lead to other things. Things Beck regretted doing with Millie. Anger had completely consumed his whole body and mind causing him to take out every desire upon the redhead. The blonde stood their with water trickling down his back, though no amount of bathing could cleanse him. He slammed his fist hard against the wall of the shower, before doing the same with his head which caused the world around him to spin in rapid circles. Then he smelt blood, and saw a steam of crimson run down his face that was most certainly blood. He felt like he had betrayed Elisa...even though he was pretty sure, especially now that she felt no kind emotions for him.

"Beck? Get out of there! What the hell are you doing Beck?!?" He heard Millie cry as she dragged him out of the shower and began mopping up his bloody head, muttering curse words and seductive comfort in his earlobe. He did not utter a single word and just hung his head in silence until she had finished, before throwing on a hoody and some faded jeans and he leaving with out a glance in her direction.

The youth just walked. He did not even know where the path he was following headed. He did not want to be here or anywhere else. He just wanted to completely vanish from the face of the earth, he did not want to face what he had done or what he was going to do. The meeting was today, maybe not also with his own gang, but with the Emeralds too. Becks body felt so dead and numb inside, maybe tonight it might be feeling the same way, just more...well physical.

A tingle of familiarity flicked up his spine and for the first time in a long while his eyes rose to find himself along side a park with the woman who his mind could just not let go of was seated upon the swing. He did not approach, just watched.

Beck Hades.

"Thinking out loud, Beck?"
"I guess there's only one way to find out, isn't there?"
"Are you?"

His own face began to flush slightly as she responded in a unexpected way. He covered his handsome face with his palms before letting out a embarrassed snigger. "I...I don't know I have not tried." Beck told the brunette, before a sudden curious thought dashed through his mind. "What have you tried? What do you want to try...You have to tell me these things!" Beck laughed, intrigued about what her response would be. His feet padded the floor as a uncomfortable but thrilling feeling twisted at his gut.

"Alright then. I won't kiss you."
"You wouldn't be much fun if you exploded. Plus, think of the mess! I would not clean that up."

To be fair Beck had the spacial awareness of a potato and so did not even notice the prying eyes so continued as normal. With Elisa it did not matter what was happening in his surroundings or what thoughts poisoned the back of his mind. All that mattered was her. He simply shook his head with a grin to the comments she made.

"Is squidge even a proper word, you freak?"
"You're like a toddler, I swear it. An overgrown, perverted toddler."

The youth tutted and roiled his eyes at Elisa. "If you are going out with a toddler that makes you the perv I think." He said in cocky tone with bright eyes. His sharply eyebrows lowered to show disapproval. "I'm going to get the police to arrest you giant toddler perv and squidge is my word." The blonde explained, almost protectively. Nobody would have a go at his squidge.

"Alright,"

A simple and fake response. Beck could not help but frown, even though he tried to hold back the expression on his face. Her eating habits were incredibly scary and he could not deal with the idea of Elisa becoming seriously ill or even dying due to the lack of intake. Part of him swore he was going to help her, but the other felt useless and pathetic. Could he really even do anything to persuade her otherwise?

"You know Beck, you don't have to pay for everything."

"Well I want it too so we are having it and we can share it okay." He said, sounding more serious than he really should have. Beck passed the money over to the man and thanked him, smiling pleasantly. You would not even think spent most of his life leading a large amount of people into a culture of violence and danger. You would not think once.

"Beck!" A high pitched voice cried out, smooth as silk but unpleasantly fake. It was as though she had practiced speaking and pronouncing words in a actual way. Beck felt a familiar pair of arms slide around his lower torso and pull him close. They hung awkwardly on his hipline It was not Elisa. "Hello Millie," Beck responded, his voice sounding purposely more formal and dominant than clumsy and flirty.

He softly took her wrists and untangled them from around his body, clenching his teeth uncomfortably. Yesterday he had sex with this girl and today he had slept with Elisa. Millie's hair was as bright as flames as always and her outfit nearly indecently revealing, but beautiful none the less. Her make up thick but not tarty. "Who are you with?" He questioned, wondering if anyone familiar was here too. "Oh. Not someone you know but I have seen Leon here and there." She responded, a small smile on her lips and wide eyes. "Who is your friend here?" Millie questioned, the smile still on her mouth but a foul glare stinging in her iris.

"What have you tried? What do you want to try...You have to tell me these things!"

Elisa's eyes little up with an amused discomfort as she choked back a laugh. "Not much, I'm afraid." While she had quite a bit of experience, it had never really met anyone who was into that form of sexual entertainment. "I'm pretty open to whatever. Why? Is Beck feeling a little adventurous? Do chains and whips excite you like they excite Rihanna?" She was having a hard time keeping her giggles under control, though she had to admit her curiosity had been peaked. Why not get a little crazy? You only live once, might as well try a little BDSM.

"If you are going out with a toddler that makes you the perv I think."
"I'm going to get the police to arrest you giant toddler per and squidge is my word."

"Oh no, not the overgrown toddler police! Never them!" Elisa said, breathing in a dramatic gasp with her hands on her chest before breaking into a laugh. "Alright, whatever. Squidge is your word. Forgive me for disrespecting the squidge." She waved her metaphorical white flag and kissed him on the cheek. She couldn't help but smile and laugh around him. It was nice. Even if he did make up weird words and act like a kid. "Besides, you're older. If you're a toddler, I'm like...a baby. Perv."

"Well I want it too so we are having it and we can share it okay."

"Then my plan to take about a million pictures of you in a flower crown is well on it's way to actualization." Elisa said as she quickly plopped it on his head and pulled her phone out of her bra, moving faster than she had in a while. "Say cheese, mother fucker!" And she snapped a photo, only to turn around and show it to him. "Ah yes, I definitely see the Goddess look you were talking about earlier."

"Who is your friend here?"

The moment the girl showed up, Elisa knew who she was and her heart began to pound. She clenched her jaw and hung closer to Beck, not possessively but more like she wanted to run and hide. Elisa didn't handle people well on a normal day, at least not people she hadn't grown up with...But Millie wasn't just the average stranger either. Beck had penetrated this girl just 24 hours ago; she mentally cringed at the thought while trying to keep her face neutral, disinterested even. "My name's Elisa," She introduced herself, her voice flat as she desperately tried to hold back the seething jealousy she was feeling. The way Millie was looking at her didn't help either. Stupid cum mop.

She twined her fingers into Beck's in a subtle 'Back off.'

Beck Hades.

"Not much, I'm afraid."

Beck admired the expression on Elisa's face for a second. It was awkward and flirty; a combination that allowed him to see into her emotions as though he was looking through glass. "Well then. I guess there always has to be a first time." He said. His voice was low dark and silk like which was accompanied with a malicious grin on his jaw. The blonde refused to look in her direction. Though underneath all the dirty comments and suggestive glares he wondered if he was putting her off.

"I'm pretty open to whatever. Why? Is Beck feeling a little adventurous? Do chains and whips excite you like they excite Rihanna?"

Beck replied with one very blunt and straight forward line.

"Bitch I am Rihanna."

"Alright, whatever. Squidge is your word. Forgive me for disrespecting the squidge."
"Besides, you're older. If you're a toddler, I'm like...a baby. Perv."

He swore he could have transformed into some gloopy liquid of happiness as she placed her lips on his cheeks. "Stawp that." Beck said quietly in the cutest tone he could muster up. "You are my squidge." The blonde said as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "You will be my baby squidge."

"Then my plan to take about a million pictures of you in a flower crown is well on it's way to actualization."
"Say cheese, mother fucker!"
"Ah yes, I definitely see the Goddess look you were talking about earlier."

Beck pushed his teeth out as though pretending to be a rabbit and pulled his eyes out wide unattractively. It must have been the most horrible expression he could have possibly pulled. He paused for a second to allow her to take a decent one before smiling widely at her comments.

"My name's Elisa,"

The red haired girl forced a plastic grin onto her face as she introduced herself. Clearly the brunette did not like her company particularly too well. "I'm Millie." She replied softly. Beck clenched his stomach hard and almost did not react when Elisa took his hand. Millie did not know about Elisa. "So I'm guessing you too are dating?" She questioned, eyes glancing to their locked palms. You could then see the flame haired youth hesitating. She bit her lip and glared up at Beck eyes flashing with a questioning spark. What she had in her mind was that Beck had cheated on Elisa with her, which could work to her benefit as she wanted nothing more than for the pair to break break up. However he was her Alpha and not someone to disrespect, also she did want to remain in his goodbooks of course. "I guess you learn something new every day...don't you Beck?" She hissed suggestively, deciding whether to just spill to the girl that the pair were sleeping together or not.

The blonde was stunned and not sure of what to do. This was possibly the most trapped he had ever felt despite doing nothing wrong what so ever. He was not a cheater. He simply had two very different kinds of relationships going on at close times.

"How is your forehead?" Millie asked, actually with a honest and caring tone. A cat was clinging so hard onto his tongue that he could barely part his lips to speak. The girl swept his hair back with her fingertips and examined with skilled eyes. "Better." She smiled. "Just don't do anything too...strenuous to open the wound again okay?" She was clearly offering out hints as though they were free sweets.

"Well then. I guess there always has to be a first time."

Her cheeks instantly turned a now familiar shade of red and she grinned at him, noticing that he wouldn't look at her. She took the opportunity to wrap her arms around his waist and whisper into his neck. "Just tell me when and where," Her lips grazed his skin with every word before she lightly bit his neck in a playful, but seductive way. It was a strange and thrilling game she was playing, though not that far off from their usual flirty banter.

"Bitch I am Rihanna."

Elisa tried so hard to come up with a response, but every time she started to say something she would just giggle. She wasn't even sure if what he said was all that funny, or if it was the way he had said it: so completely serious. "Alright, RiRi. I'm never letting that go. It'll be locked in my brain forever and ever."

"You are my squidge."
"You will be my baby squidge."

"It was a verb and now it's a noun, but you're cute so I'll let it slide." She said leaning into him as a small way to rest as they stood. She was losing energy so fast lately and from doing simple things, but like always she chose to ignore it and find ways of covering it up.

"I guess you learn something new every day...don't you Beck?"

Oh Hell no. Elisa was not going to be that girl. The girl with the cheating boyfriend that she was so blissfully unaware of, especially when she didn't have a cheating boyfriend and they had been together all of five minutes. What happened yesterday had nothing to do with the fact that they were dating today. "Yes, well. It's pretty recent, Miley. I've heard a thing or two about you." Elisa stated, her voice laced with a certain kind of venom. She had heard quite a bit about Millie and how she was so useful in the gang and how Beck is -- was -- her fuck buddy. Elisa was incredibly uncomfortable and did not at all like this girl. She didn't like the way she spoke, the looks she was giving her and Beck, or the way she touched him. She wanted to draw a line in the dirt and tell her that she could not cross that line.

"How is your forehead?"
"Just don't do anything too...strenuous to open the wound again okay?"

A sneer crossed Elisa's face as she listened to the girl's almost condescending tone, like she was trying to spill secrets that weren't secret at all. She wanted to scream 'Yes Millie, you have slept with Beck, but now he's taking so go get yourself off.' Obviously, Elisa wasn't that forward, though she wished she was. "I'll take care of him honey, you won't need to anymore." Elisa told her, though that was clearly not about medical practices. She didn't want to deal with this girl. She didn't have the time, mental health, or energy to either.

(Sorry for taking so long. I fixed my keyboard~)

Beck Hades.

"Just tell me when and where,"

Beck could not help but let out a groan of lust as she sank her teeth into the loose flesh on his neck. His legs twitched as she slid her arms around his waist, too low to be comfortable. He breathed out heavily, a odd little smirk on his lips as he looked towards her. "Quit it..." The blonde growled. "You are going to t..." He paused, closing his mouth and just allowing a brief laugh to pass out with his breath. He sure was a lucky guy.

"Alright, RiRi. I'm never letting that go. It'll be locked in my brain forever and ever."
"It was a verb and now it's a noun, but you're cute so I'll let it slide."

The youth smiled lightly as she laughed. Laughing was a sign of happiness and in Elisa's case also improvement. Could it be possible that the pair of them coming together would trigger a recovery? Beck had always seen love as quite a cruel thing. It took over peoples mind like a uncontrollable plague that was not only poisonous but also very addictive. Though he could always be wrong. What did he know about love anyway? Love could improve things...or tear everything to shreds.

"Yes, well. It's pretty recent, Millie. I've heard a thing or two about you."

The red head's right eyebrow raised in a unimpressed manner. She held back a tut which clung to her tongue. "Really? What kind of things?" Millie questioned. She tried to keep her voice as pleasant as possible but you could taste in the air that all the existed was spite. "Has Beck told you these things or has someone been spreading nasty rumors?" The girl questioned, before a random curling of her lips occurred. She realized what she meant. "What things...?"

"I'll take care of him honey, you won't need to anymore."

Beck swallowed hard as this was said and stepped back almost as though he wanted to shrink into the shadows. "I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself just fine ladies." He stated in a low uncomfortable tone which was laced with a firm edge that he could not quite manage.

Right at that moment Millie snapped. A dark frown appeared on her lips and she exhaled heavily before pausing and glaring at the brunette. "I am pretty sure you won't be telling me that over the next week or so my love. I don't think you understand." Of course she was talking about her healing abilities and the risk that Beck was taking tonight. It was likely he was going to suffer a wound or two. "I'm sorry but I don't think you can work miracles." She spat harshly, reading Elisa's expression. "You really don't understand do you? Do you even care?" Millie seemed to be growing defensive over Beck in a selfish but concerned way. It was hard to tell if she did really love him or just his reputation.

"Quit it..."
"You are going to t..."

"Going to what? Cat got your tongue?" She said with a grin. She was enjoying getting Beck all hot and bothered. "What are you going to do if I don't quit?" She brushed her thumb just above his pants line so she could feel the skin of his hip. Obviously, she was just playing as they were in public, but it was still fun. Elisa stopped and snuggled into his shoulder, returning to the usual adorable snuggling that they did.

"Really? What kind of things?"
"Has Beck told you these things or has someone been spreading nasty rumors?"
"What things...?"

"Don't worry. Nothing that I couldn't have guessed upon meeting you." Elisa said with a polite, though condescending smile. "No need to get all worked up over it." The more this girl spoke, the more she heard her voice, the more Elisa wanted to throw some duct tape over her mouth and walk away. If she were healthy, she might consider slapping the girl or getting into a full on bitch fight, but as it was simply walking was getting to be too much of an effort.

"I'm sorry but I don't think you can work miracles."
"You really don't understand do you? Do you even care?"

Much like Beck, there were two sides of Elisa depending on the situation or who she was with. One was the girl Beck had fallen in love with, the other...well, wasn't as pleasant. Her entire demeanor changed at that point. She stood up a little straighter and her eyes lit up with rage, disgust, and even amusement. For the rather frail and skeletal looking girl, it was a bit frightening. The corners of her mouth turned up in a wicked grin. "You don't think I can work miracles? What do you have, a little first aid knowledge and a propensity for being a whore? Let me tell you something darling. I have enough connections that I could destroy you with a phone call. Where you can give someone a stitch or two, I can give him and your entire little gang an entire fucking hospital wing and nobody would know. I can render you entirely fucking useless if I so desired and you would have absolutely no control over it. Do not fuck with me you lascivious bitch. And never, ever claim I don't care." At that point Elisa had begun to sound so vicious and her expression was so dark, that she didn't even look like herself. It was like another person had taken control. She could feel even more rage boiling up inside of her and she knew she had to walk away from this girl. She dropped Beck's hand and turned on her heels and began to walk away.

She needed to cool down. She was getting dizzy.

Beck Hades.

"What are you going to do if I don't quit?"

"Elisa Grace there are a lot of secluded areas around these parts that I could just tug you into you know." The blonde hissed through clenched teeth as she slid her thumbs around the waist band of his jeans. His hips shook slightly before she came seeking his warmth in his shoulders. Beck pulled his arms around the girl before letting out a soft giggle. "You know I really did not expect someone like you to be like that."

"Don't worry. Nothing that I couldn't have guessed upon meeting you."
"No need to get all worked up over it."

Millie's jaws dropped open as this meek looking girl in front of her began spilling out these cocky and cold hearted sentences. She took a step forward and stood defensively. "Excuse me bitch? What are you getting at?" The red haired girl hissed, her tone laced with a deadly venom. "Atleast I don't look like a ugly sack of bones with Daddies credit card hanging off my body." She spat before finally Beck spoke up about what situation was occurring in front of him. "Quit it. That's enough!" The blonde snarled as he shot a harsh glare at Millie, to which she seemed to surrender...until.

"You don't think I can work miracles? What do you have, a little first aid knowledge and a propensity for being a whore? Let me tell you something darling. I have enough connections that I could destroy you with a phone call. Millie leapt forwards in a feline manner before grasping the collar of Elisa's dress and tugging the small brunette towards her. "You need putting in your place." The woman hissed as she raised her hand as though to backhand the stranger across the face. It seemed like she was going to do so and with the speed her arm was moving at it appeared to look like it would hurt a hell of a lot and leave angry red marks on her cheeks. Beck moved fast and grasped Millie's wrist just before she moved to make impact. "I'M BEING SERIOUS STOP! Both of you!" He yelled, to which the red head began thrashing under his weight and grasp, tears dripping down her pale cheeks and smudging her heavy eye makeup. "She will do NOTHING for you Beck. You don't want her!" She screamed, but Beck said nothing and continued holding her until she stop struggling. Once he did release her she pulled her arms around his torso and began to hold him tightly, sobbing into the center of his chest. To be honest he did not move away from her embrace. He was starting to see the situation from her own point of view, and to be fair it did really seem really shitty.

He saw Elisa walk off into the distance and so he realized his old friend before heading in the direction she left. "Let me go talk to her..."

"Elisa?..."

Beck Hades.

"Oh ouch. Wait, I'm still better looking than you: a fat sausage squeezed into a casing two sizes too small."

Millie could not believe what she had just heard. She had never been insulted about her figure in her whole life time. Her mouth hung open, before she shut it with a snap and began slowly grinding her teeth with anger. "Atleast Beck had some tits to grab ahold of. I bet he put his hands up your shirt and wondered if he was dating a boy." The red head sniggered bitterly, her eyes not blinking or removing themselves from her face. Millie's fingers itched.

"Are you going to fucking hit me? Go ahead I fucking dare you!"

"I side with a gang. I could do more than fucking hit you if I wanted to bitch. Believe me if you deserved it I'd be ready to serve it to you. Hot and steaming." The youth hissed as she struggled under his grip. She had almost forgot he was there along side her, until the blonde grabbed her chin and cocked the girls face up towards his own so she met with his burning eyes. "I could have you arrested for saying that. And keep it in your mind who runs this gang Millie." Beck snarled, to which she began to fall silent as he released her, now holding a little less sympathy and respect for the red head.

Beck did not get so much as a glance from Elisa. It felt as though he was a lost ghost with little sense of purpose. He slowly stepped towards her, before sitting along side her so carefully as though each brick of the wall was about to tumble from beneath his backside. He did not know what to say or do, or how to begin to comfort the brunette. Once he opened his lips all that slid out was a croaky and shaky sounding, "I am really sorry." Beck brushed back his blonde hair like he always did when feeling out of his comfort zone.

"She is jealous. She was not expecting me to be with anyone; I know it is hard to try and think of it from her perspective and you more than likely don't care about how she feels but just try. Her emotions got the better of her, as did yours. It is okay though, I understand." Beck told her, trying to fall out of his gang leader tone but it just did not seem to be working. His two very contrasting worlds were starting to over lap, and it was destroying his mind bit by bit. "Millie is also a crazy bitch. Her actions are not excused." The youth added, before trying to slide his hand around Elisa's tiny waist and tug her towards him.

"Please don't be angry at me. I didn't do anything..."

"Atleast Beck had some tits to grab ahold of. I bet he put his hands up your shirt and wondered if he was dating a boy."

"Tits won't make him love you...and besides, you wreak of desperation." She looked down her nose at the girl as she spoke. She didn't have much left to say after that. This was getting far too childish for her liking.

"I side with a gang. I could do more than fucking hit you if I wanted to bitch. Believe me if you deserved it I'd be ready to serve it to you. Hot and steaming."

"I could have you arrested for saying that. And keep it in your mind who runs this gang Millie."

Elisa couldn't hold back a laugh at that. Was this bitch not thinking? Threatening her with a gang that Beck was fucking in control of? She put a hand over her mouth as she tried to stifle the condescending giggle that poured out. She was about to set the bitch straight but Beck had already done that for her. The red head, Elisa was realizing, had nothing on her. In any other situation, she might have felt a little bad for Millie, but this wasn't any other situation and she had her best bitch face on. At this point she definitely had an 'entitled rich bitch' vibe and she could care less. The anger and unadulterated bitchness was a nice distraction from the usual suicidal thoughts that kept her company.

"She is jealous. She was not expecting me to be with anyone; I know it is hard to try and think of it from her perspective and you more than likely don't care about how she feels but just try. Her emotions got the better of her, as did yours. It is okay though, I understand."

The way Beck was talking to her wasn't familiar and she wasn't fond of it in the least. It was like she was being lectured by a parent or someone in a position of authority over her. She glared, but didn't say anything. She wasn't a member of his gang. He had power there, but not with her. There was no alpha or chain of command. It was her and him, Beck and Elisa. "Careful, love. I'm not part of that world." She reminded him gently, referring to his 'gang leader voice.' She didn't want nor did she need him to speak to her like that.

"Millie is also a crazy bitch. Her actions are not excused."

Those words did lighten her mood a bit and she tried her hardest not to smile. "She may have brought out the worst of me...Just a bit." She leaned into his arms, her whole body now feeling heavy and she was so exhausted that she may as well have run a marathon. "I'm sorry too. For making you uncomfortable. I don't know if I'm sorry for what I told her yet. Ask me again when I'm older. I may have matured by then."

"Please don't be angry at me. I didn't do anything..."

"I'm not angry...but I am thirsty. We should get some water?" She meant it as a statement, but it came out like a question. She knew that questions about food would likely follow, but her throat was so dry and she was so tired that if she didn't do something about it, she may pass out...and that wasn't something she wanted to deal with in the least.

Beck Hades.

His knee just slightly nudged against Elisa's own legs, feeling the horrid feelings pulse through her body causing her to shake in such a unnatural manner. Beck met with her eyes but she seemed to pull away from his view. Clearly she was moments away from breaking down, yet the blonde did nothing, simply because he did not know what he could do and along with that he also did not understand. Did Elisa think herself to be unattractive? Was that why she starved herself? In Beck's own eyes he thought her to be the most beautiful female he had ever met, and in fact would be even more flawless if she looked healthier and less like she would snap in two if he accidently knocked her arm on a table.. What exactly was making her do that to herself? He did not know, and he did not understand.

"I can't. I can't do it."

As tears dripped down her cheeks he dashed round to the other side of the picnic table, brushing away each droplet as it ran down her face and planting kisses there before his lips creeped round to her mouth. However he still did not speak. Clearly Elisa was rather ashamed of herself by this point so he decided not to pressure her about it, still he had to bring it up. "This is something we need to have a long talk about, not now but soon. I want to help you. I..I need to help you. I l..love you." His voice broke slightly as he said his last three sentences. Quickly he kissed her lips again, as though begging for a response.

"I don't want you to get hurt. I just got you, I don't want to lose you."

The youth did not seem to hear what she had just said, as he was nuzzling his face into her arm silently, as though trying to get away from the words that left her mouth. He did not want to hear. Even if he could not hear them he still knew what she was saying. A lump formed in his throat and many angry and fearful thoughts began to plague his mind.

"You had better come back for me then. In one piece. I don't care if you're some scary gang leader. I will kick your ass if you break my heart,"

"Yeah. Okay." Beck said simply in a low montone voice, before taking her hand and standing up from the table. Leon once again made his presence known by giving a polite cough to catch the pairs attention. Beck twisted his head curiously. "I brought my car. You guys don't have to walk." He said simply before pointing down a back street to the left of them, which being honest did look rather shady, but still Beck nodded with out question and headed in that direction.

***

Both Beck and Elisa sat in the backseat, just for the comfort of each other. The blonde took her hand in his and began stroking the back of her hand with his thumb, tracing small circles there. There was also a black bag slung on the front seat of the car that seemed to have a fair amount of weight to it; once it caught Beck's eye, he did not so much as touch it. Leon listened attently to Beck's directions to Elisa's home and followed them to the letter. Once they arrived he exited the car to speak with Elisa in private, he was sure she would like to say something or atleast give him a cuddle before he went.

"Don't worry about him. I promise I will keep him out of trouble. It's what best friends are for right?" Leon told Elisa with a soft smile as he nudged her arm when she walked by the drivers window. Beck felt his lips rise slightly at the sound of the words 'best friend'. That was what Leon was to him; he was way more than just a lieutenant.

"This is something we need to have a long talk about, not now but soon. I want to help you. I..I need to help you. I l..love you."

This wasn't something she ever wanted to discuss again. She wanted her disease to kill her. She would rather die a skeleton with scars on her wrist than an obese pig who had lost everything she ever thought she had control of. It was a sick and morbid way to think, but she couldn't help it. For so long food and her image had been the only thing she could control and now it seemed like Beck was ripping that away from her...It made him feel like some sort of enemy that she should push away.

Her stomach turned with nausea and she could almost feel the pasta sitting her stomach, decaying and making her fat. She wanted to dig her finger nails into her stomach and rip it out or run to the bathroom and puke it all up. She didn't understand his desire to fix her. He couldn't fix her. No one could because she didn't want the help yet. She wasn't ready to get better.

Anorexia was a friend she hated, that brought her down and made her hate herself, but couldn't bring herself to let go of.

Elisa was notably uncomfortable in the seat of the car and not just because Beck was about to do something reckless, but also because she was in the car with a strange man who she had only briefly met before. She didn't like strangers and didn't make friends easily, she was far too shy and anxious. The only thing that kept her the slightest bit calm was the comforting caress of Beck's hand against hers. When they reached her home she breathed an audible sigh of relief, as if she had been holding air in her lungs the entire trip.

"Don't worry about him. I promise I will keep him out of trouble. It's what best friends are for right?"

She knew Leon's words were meant to comfort her but they did the exact opposite. Her heart was pounding in her ears and she chewed nervously on her bottom lip, causing it to bleed slightly. This whole situation seemed surreal and not in a good way. She just wanted to wake up from this nightmare and for it all to go away. "I'll hold you to that," She responded quietly, though it still seemed a little aggressive and nervous.

She turned and looked at Beck as the left Leon's earshot. "Can I ask you to stay again even though I know you won't listen?" Elisa asked, resting her hands gently against his neck and caressing his jaw with the pad of her thumbs.

"I don't want to go. I have to."
"I am so scared."

"I don't suppose you'll let me go with you then?" Elisa asked, her voice cracking slightly. It was a stupid thought, but she figured if she was there...maybe it wouldn't be so bad. It was childish and silly, but some part of her thought that maybe she could help him in some way, despite the fact that her upper arm was barely bigger than his wrist and that all she could do was call 911 if things went awry. She did hate seeing him so frightened though and she thought that maybe she could also comfort him in some way. When his head laid on her shoulder, she brushed a hand through his hair and even that felt like a work out after all the energy she had exerted that day.

"If only I had only been the tiny bit smarter and more mature when I was a kid. I would not be stood here now trying not to break down infront of my new girlfriend."

She chuckled quietly when he hit his forehead in such a dramatic way. "Silly boys do silly things and you are, in fact, a silly boy. I love you, anyways." She teased, trying to make light of the shitty situation as she grabbed the same hand he had just hit himself with and placed her lips on his fingertips, kissing each one. When he leaned in to kiss her she didn't fight it, though at first she was slightly hesitant because this kiss felt like goodbye. It felt to final and filled with too much fear.

With their goodbyes said and plenty of stalling, Elisa knew she had to go back inside. The walk to the door was difficult and long and she kept looking back - hoping he would decide to come with her rather than go to the meet up. When that didn't happen, she closed the door and was, despite the hour, greeted quietly by a tiny ball of sunshine and a fat white cat. Despite everything, Elisa stilled smile and grabbed the girl's tiny hand in hers. Her heart was breaking but the excited smile on Jess's face made it just a tiny bit better.

"Lissy's home!" The toddler whispered, though it was still quite loud.

"Yes I am, and you're not supposed to be awake." Elisa whispered back, walking up the stairs to put her daughter back in bed.

"Miss Allison said I could." Jessa said matter-of-factly, but her face gave her lies away.

"Sure she did, Jess. Time to go to sleep."

And a few stories later the little red head fell asleep and Elisa laid next her, far too worried to sleep and too terrified to be alone. So she settled for letting Jess use her as a human pillow and laid in the silence with just her thoughts and a phone she was eagerly waiting for to go off.

Beck Hades.

Of course Leon drove and Beck sat to the left of him, finally feeling comfortable enough to atleast let his emotions show in the slightest of ways. His fingertips tapped quickly upon dashboard as he could not seem to remain still due to the fear pumping through his veins. His stomach twisted over time and time again and his vision blurred as though he had met a wall of mist. Tears stung in the back of his eyes. He knew if he wanted to put on the persona of The Leader of the Shards he would to pull himself together very quickly.

"Come on man. You don't really have nothing to worry about." Leon told the man sternly, which was a rather forgiven tone for the brunette as Beck was clearly superior. As they pulled up he slapped him on the back hard enough to snap him out of his turn. "We all are here for you." The male promised, which encouraged a smile to grow upon Beck's heavy lips. "Is Millie here?" The youth questioned, to which Leon hesitated then began to nod. "Great." Beck hissed through gritted teeth and his pupils rolled to the ground. "As if I don't already have enough issues to deal with."

For a second or two he sat back in the front seat and began mentally preparing himself by basically forcing his emotions to be as cold as ice. He then dragged his body with his limbs feeling as heavy as lead out of the car as well as pulling a handgun from the black bag that sat at his feet revealing a handgun. He examined the weapon carefully, forcing his hands not to shake as he held it in his grip. Beck Hades was not planning to kill anyone tonight but he sure would pump lead into the knees of anyone who threatened him. He had done it once, he could do the same again.

Beck slid the metal item into his jacket pocket before following Leon, chest out, eyes dead, and a face like stone. The group of Shard's awaited at the alleys corner along with Millie, who seemed to be childishly ignoring the situation despite how dangerous it was. He knew quite a few of those around him were well armed, but he was sure the enemy would be too. Still, tonight was not supposed to be that of warfare.

The group walked towards the suggested location which seemed to be a abandoned multistorey car park. Sure enough a few figures jittered and muttered in the darkness but he was unable to see exactly the number that was there. Silhouettes that danced in the shadows made his heart flutter with a horrible sensation; one of which seemed familiar. "This is the face you wanted to see. We did not change leaders at all. I remain in charge." He stated simply in a loud dominant tone, all fear seemingly erased but it was just hidden below.

"How cowardly and pathetic is that? Just because we cut you up a little, you ran away!" The alpha of the Emerald's cried, provoking a round of laughter from his followers surrounding.

Malachai joined in on the laughing, thinking that Beck was little more than a play thing to be fucked with and broken and killed. He only caused problems for the emeralds, hurting theirs and not minding his own damn business like some Batman with a whole bunch of Robins. He hadn't been there the day they had cut him up, but he wished he had been. He wished he could have seen the blood and heard him squeal. He cackled quietly, in a nearly inhuman way. There was no kindness in his heart, no decency. Only meth and hatred ran through his veins now: meth, hatred, and greed.

With the Emeralds, Malachai felt free to do as he pleased with no consequences. Stealing, maiming, and destroying were all things he could do freely. All he had to do was stand by his own and fuck up anyone who got in their way, anyone who tried to take their turf away from them.

"How cowardly and pathetic is that? Just because we cut you up a little, you ran away!"

"Maybe we should cut him up again? 'Coward' would be a nice addition," Malachai chimed in, grinning like a wild hyena as he stepped out of the shadows, twirling his knife as though it was an extension of his arm instead of an entirely separate object. "We could carve him and the rest of his friends to pieces." The glee in his voice was disturbing on all levels. He was certifiably insane and seemed to revel in it. This version of Malachai was not at all like the one Elisa had known three years ago, that part of him did die...or maybe it was all a disguise, knowing she was rich and vulnerable.

He picked at the dirt under his nails with the knife as though it were nothing but a toothpick. He was itching for orders that would give him something to do, someone to hurt, or anything at all to save him from boredom. His red hair hung in his face and brown eyes - that were quite similar to Jess's - gleamed with anticipation. His eyes were set on the blonde man in front of him, wondering how someone like him could ever hold an alpha position in such a prominent gang. He couldn't be much older than Malachai was himself and that really pissed him off. Malachai respected his alpha, but one day he hoped to replace him and he had been working his way up for a while - befriending their leader and earning his trust, yearning for the day when the spot would be handed to him.

Beck Hades

As the group surrounding him began laughing his heart thudded hard in his chest, so hard that it was starting to become painful. He let his Adam's apple bob in his throat before pulling himself together and glaring around at these hidden figures. "Oh yes it is so funny. Wouldn't you be concerned if a mislead bunch of twats like I can see now were hunting you? It was to benefit myself and my group, but you were curious bastards who had nasty ways of picking up gossip." He snarled, ending his sentence with a cold and unfamiliar snigger.

"Maybe we should cut him up again? 'Coward' would be a nice addition,"
"We could carve him and the rest of his friends to pieces."

Beck could not help but fall his steps backwards as this stranger approached with a weapon clutched in his fist. In fact the youth did not want to do nothing more but to run for his life right now. As his eyes locked with the man ahead of him he frowned darkly, too afraid to allow the cogs in his mind start to work out his identity. "You really are a pack of sickos aren't you? I'm not a coward, I was logical." He explained to the red head male; though his hair was not similar to Millie's, it was the wildest of forest fires and lacked the crimson shade. "Don't you think you have done enough defenseless maiming?" Beck spat harshly. "You promised that this was a peaceful meeting, yet all I have seen so far is hostility."

The leader of the Emeralds unearthed himself from the shadows, with a more serious and controlled expression than that of the youth ahead of him. "Yes we did." The raven haired alpha stated in a monotone voice. Beck currently had one hand pressed to the back of his belt where the handgun remained. "So are you satisfied? This is my same old face." The blonde said, calming his tongue, though he did not answer this.

It was only in that split second of silence where Beck actually took a good look at his opponent. This was his first time seeing the man in the flesh, but had before seen him on paper. Elisa's ex. Jesses father. Elisa's DEAD boyfriend. Yes, this was the man, it was unmistakable what with the eyes being the same as that adoring little girl who had not so long ago been introduced to. THIS was the man who Elisa had stumbled into childish love with? It made him sick to his stomach. "YOU!..." Beck Hades growled, taking a few steps towards the male before Leon dashed up to his friend, halting him on the stop.

He did not believe it. Could he have the wrong guy?

No way.

"You really are a pack of sickos aren't you? I'm not a coward, I was logical."

Malachai gave a crooked smirk and shook his head. "A logical coward is still a coward, but what else would one expect from a Shard?" He choked out his rival gangs name as though it were the foulest name in human creation. His eyes remained lit up with a sick glee as he spoke however, and he was so close to to just pouncing on the other male. His smirk deepened when he noticed Beck taking a step back. "See, coward."

"Don't you think you have done enough defenseless maiming?"

"Of course not you sickly amoeba. There's always more maiming to do." Malachai stated, followed by a maniacal giggle of sorts. He truly looked insane, like he had a couple loose bolts in his head and he enjoyed it. All he needed was for his leader to say it was okay to attack, like a rabid pit bull, or for Beck to come at him. He reveled in chaos, anarchy, and causing others pain.

"So are you satisfied? This is my same old face."

Malachai looked to his leader, awaiting a response. "We may have made a promise to be peaceful and to stop coming after your friends if you showed yourself...but did I ever promise that we wouldn't come after you?" The black haired man said in the same monotone, flat voice though his eyes lit up for a moment. Malachai grinned, liking where this situation was headed, and flipped the knife several times over in his hands. He wouldn't use it immediately unless he had to. He liked to fight, he liked the adrenaline rush it gave him.

"YOU!..."

"Is that the face of recognition? I don't recall ever meeting a sniveling shard leader before," The red head mocked, though his interest was peaked. He had never met Beck before, but judging by his sudden outrage Beck had met him. Or at least, that's what he had assumed. "You look so angry? How about you tell your friend to let you go and come at me again. It'll be so much fun." Though Malachai was quite confused as to the cause of Beck's sudden anger towards him, he wanted to use it to his advantage...he wanted to draw blood tonight. Maybe not to kill, but he could definitely have some fun causing Beck a bit of pain. He grinned at the thought.

Beck Hades.

"A logical coward is still a coward, but what else would one expect from a Shard?"
"See, coward."

Beck could not help but begin laughing furiously, a big hearty laugh that came right from the bottom of his stomach. Of course is was fake and melodramatic but there was some amount of honest amusement there. He laughed so much it hurt his ribs. "So you think logic is cowardly? Wow what a dumbass." He said with a smirk, staring directly in the eyes of this crazed man with a harsh expression. "I don't fear you now. I know I am smarter than you and your pathetic brain and therefore better."

"Of course not you sickly amoeba. There's always more maiming to do."

"Somebody put this guy down! They kill crazy bastards like you don't they?" He spat harshly, now realising that Elisa's ex boyfriend was in fact now a complete nutjob. He wondered if this man was the same as this a few years ago, but he highly doubted it since Elisa stated she was at the very least fond of him. He hoped Elisa was not really for this type of guy, and would be greatly offended if he himself also fitted into that category. "You won't lay a finger on him." A quiet voice came out from behind him, which actually turned out to be Millie who was clearly frightened by this situation. After all she knew too well what these men did to people at she had sticthed up far too many wounds.

"We may have made a promise to be peaceful and to stop coming after your friends if you showed yourself...but did I ever promise that we wouldn't come after you?"

Beck narrowed his eyes and scowled, though his heart was thudding hard in his chest. He was scared, knowing he would be tracked down and there was nothing he could do about it. "How pathetic is that? What has caused this obsession with me? It is pointless. I'm going home as soon as I find out who this man is." He said pointing a finger in the red haired males direction.

"Is that the face of recognition? I don't recall ever meeting a snivelling shard leader before,"
"You look so angry? How about you tell your friend to let you go and come at me again. It'll be so much fun."

"A little bird told me you are supposed to be dead. Yet you stand here!!!" Beck snarled loudly, clenching his fists tight. He decided not to give away anymore information that may get himself and Elisa into trouble and so left the details there. "Explain that." He said darkly. "I also suggest you should watch your mouth. Your bark is bigger than your bite and for me it is the other way round my friend." The blonde explained, of course talking about the gun in his back pocket which was way more powerful than his small blade.

"So you think logic is cowardly? Wow what a dumbass."
"I don't fear you now. I know I am smarter than you and your pathetic brain and therefore better."

"Did I say that? No. I said a logical coward is still a coward. A real man never would have hid. A real man would have stood up for his friends long before now, regardless of his own safety." The red head spat, a snarl on his lips. He didn't take kindly to being called a dumb ass. "You're an arrogant little shit aren't you? You won't be by the end of the night. I'll have you screaming. You'll be begging for me to stop and then you'll know fear. Fear is pain and you will understand that well, seems you didn't get the message in the first place, love."

"You won't lay a finger on him."

Every single one of the Emeralds appeared to be laughing at that statement. "I won't, will I? Then how about I get my hands on you? You look like fun, all red and pretty. I'd love to get on you," Malachai stated, licking his lips in perhaps the most sickening way a man could.

"How pathetic is that? What has caused this obsession with me? It is pointless. I'm going home as soon as I find out who this man is."

"It's simple really, our 'obsession,' we don't need another supposed gang policing us. This is our world, we do as we please. You're an annoyance we want to rid ourselves of." The leader said with a roll of his eyes, as though the reason should be clear as day. "And go home? Not without a reminder to stay out of our business, as it appears you need another. And seems you have a fondness for Malachai here, maybe I'll let him do the honors. He's quite the artist when it comes to pain."

"A little bird told me you are supposed to be dead. Yet you stand here!!!"

Malachai's eyes narrowed in on Beck, processing what he had said. For a brief moment the crazy look he bared was gone, replaced by curiosity. Only one girl, that was supposed to be hours away, thought that he was dead. Only one family spread that rumor and there was only one person who might care enough to still be talking about it. At that realization, a new grin spread across his face. "Now there's something I haven't thought about in quite a while. I am supposed to be dead aren't I?" His voice was filled with amusement and a hint of darkness.

"But how would you come to hear that particular rumor? Seems I left it a town away? Could it be that your little bird lives here now? The Grace family has always been a funny sort," Malachai chuckled, holding his right elbow in his left hand while lightly tapping the blade against his chin. "Elisa, Elisa, Elisa. She was a good lay if I remember correctly. Tell me, is she still? I mean, I assume by your obvious give a shit you've fucked her. She must've told you about me, as I doubt her parents would."

"I also suggest you should watch your mouth. Your bark is bigger than your bite and for me it is the other way round my friend."

He approached Beck after that statement, rather coolly and more collected than before. "My bark is bigger than my bite, is it Shard?" Malachai whispered, inches from his face and he lightly ran the knife over Beck's cheek - not hard enough to wound him, but just enough to be a creepy mother fucker. "Don't underestimate me. I feel you'll regret it." His voice was still low, but in a split second the had moved the knife from Beck's face to his abdomen...

And there was nothing gentle about the way he sunk it into his flesh.

Beck Hades.

"You wound me, Sir! But at least I can admit that I'm a terrible person. I take what I want, but you're a killer playing a hero and that's just pathetic."
"I accept that I am the villain and it's quite the fun roll to play. I suggest you try it. You run a gang, it shouldn't be too hard."

Those words rung in Becks ears. He was right. He was a thousand percent correct about that and the fact that this was the truth left the blonde youth in silence with his hands trembling. The man paused for a second before forcing something out of his mouth that had less of a influence than that was actually wanted. He might as well have not even spoken. "There is a clear difference between me and you Malachai." He said, tone rather flat. Beck was not a good man, Beck had done some horrible things, yet he pretended he was not guilty.

"She would have been quite fond of any distraction. I'm sure that's all you are now, if she's still as fucked in the head as she was then. I mean, last I heard she was giving blow jobs in bathrooms to any guy who'd give her an eight ball."

As Beck lay upon the cold ground, clutching his wound and letting small whines escape his lips this was what played on his mind rather than his own blood leaking onto the floor. He believed him somewhat, though Beck wondered why Elisa would be doing that for money due to her family being rather well off. She knew she would accept any kind of affection from anyone, if it stirred her emotions enough to make her feel alive. Was that what Beck was? Did she even actually love him? Was he just someone to numb her pain? It made him sick that this stranger had persuaded him to think in this way, but now the idea's would not leave his brain.

"I'll kill you, Shard, if you're not dead already. But first I'll make you watch as I kill that whore Elisa,"

Beck was going insane. The noise around him became a muffled mess along with Millie's cries and Leon storming the carpark with as many footsteps as bullet shots. He just heard Malachai. Only his sickening voice and Beck's own soft crazed laughter. His vision was starting to blur due to blood loss but it was actually the tears spilling from his eyes that caused the clearness to fade. He would not remember what had left his mouth cause he simply felt like he currently was not existing, like he was already dead, because he knew Malachai was serious. "I...I can't wait to pump you full of lead..." The alpha hissed, before he fell into blackness.

He hoped he was dead.

-----

He lay there in bed, refusing to open his eyelids. It would have been so much easier if he was dead. Millie and Leon chatted quietly but he did his best to ignore them, in fact he struggled to hear them. It only took him a second to realize he felt very little pain, more like tingling in his wound. He had been drugged for pain relief. Beck wondered if Millie had given him a small amount of Morphine or Heroine, either way it did the job for once throbbing pain but he could barely lift his arms with out putting a lot of effort into thinking about the action. Either that or he was just dying and did not care enough to feel this pain.

Slowly he forced his eyes open and the blurry world appeared around him, it was just one of the Shard's flats and not even hospital. Though of course he expected this as any more help would require explanation and therefore unneeded trouble, but it seemed like the red haired girl had done a pretty fine job at patching him up anyway. Fresh white bandages covered the gash and his bloody shirt binned. Usually Beck would have been rather displeased at this as it meant they had seen the scars on his back once more, but at this current moment in time and the state he was in he could not even think straight.

Millie's hand stroked the hair from his face as she said some words that he could not even make a guess at, still this was comforting. He could just make out Leon's figure, pacing the floor furiously with what seemed like a mobile in his hand. Beck did not understand what he was doing.

Of course Leon was deciding whether or not to text Elisa or not. It did not look like he was close to making a choice either, he would just pace the ground all night.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuckkkk!" Leon stammered, still quickly pacing the floor and clutching Beck's mobile with shaking palms. "What do I do Millie? Elisa just text him asking him to call her?" He questioned while Millie began packing and organizing some of the medical equipment she had used for Beck and his wounds. The red haired girl sighed lightly, even though she hated his girlfriend with a passion Millie tried to put herself in Elisa's shoes, and if she was her she would want to know that Beck was okay. Plus she was sure that Beck would want to have some sympathy from the brunette even if he could not say it himself at the current moment in time. Millie would suggest whatever made her leader happiest.

"I suggest you tell her. She deserves to know." The girl stated in a very matter of fact tone, depriving her voice of most emotion, though Leon did not seem to be paying all that much attention. "It's bloody 4am! Lets just ring her in the morning and plus Beck needs his rest." The male scowled and began tapping in a new text on the phone before he remembered what exactly had happened at the carpark, and his face lost all colour. "Also the girl now more or less has a bounty on her if you don't remember what that physco said. They might have people waiting for her somewhere and even if she does get her safely we have to explain the whole situation right now."

Millie swallowed and slowly nodded. "I...I did not think of that." She agreed, watching Leon write his text before turning to Beck to check on his status. He was awake, but barely, he was more than likely trying to listen to the conversation but not having the energy or control to have any input. Atleast that's what they thought until he murmured a response. "D..don't bring her here." Beck groaned. Of course they obeyed him, but would she obey them?

The text did not look anything like Beck's usual texts. The lower cases, the amount of kisses, the fact he called her babe. It seemed to foreign to be written by his own hands. Leon clicked send anyway.

Beck :)
4:05- everything is okay babe. i'll call you in the morning xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx night.

When his name flashed across her brightly lit screen, she was relieved but only for a moment. There was something off about it, something that made her uncomfortable. It felt fake, call it lovers intuition, but she had a feeling it wasn't Beck that sent the text. He would have just called her if everything was alright, told her that she had been worried for nothing, soothed her far more than just a ridiculous text. Or, at least, she assumed he would. He knew how stressed she had been about the whole ordeal, how afraid she had been for him. Not to mention the words themselves seemed a little out of character for him.

She paced back and forth in her room, nearly wearing a hole into the ground. Her hands were shaking and her heart was giving her palpitations from anxiety. Would it be wrong of her to check on him? Would that make her some psycho talker girlfriend if she just showed up at the gang's base? If she didn't go, what if something was wrong? What if he was hurt? If she didn't show up, and he was, she would regret it and there was no denying that.

Eventually she decided to leave, figuring it would be better to just clear the air and calm her fears than to wait around, never knowing what was going on. If he thought she was crazy, she didn't care, she had to know - she had to see with her own eyes that he was okay. Maybe it was a little reckless and ridiculous, but in the moment she didn't care. Her boyfriend was involved in what was basically city warfare between two opposing gangs and she had every right to make sure he was okay. Or that's what she told herself.

She grabbed her car keys and headed out the door, only stopping to put on a sweater to protect her from the chill of the night. When she arrived at the flat, it was even more gloomy than before. Now knowing that this was the gang's secret hide out and that many broken people had been taken here instead of hospitals, it made her sick just to be near the place. She made her way inside and knocked on the door. "I-It's Elisa," She stammered through the door, not wanting them to ignore her or think she was somebody stirring up trouble.

Beck Hades.

The pair remained silent while, waiting for a reply from the brunette, but none ever came. Leon hung his head in his hands as he grew more and more impatient as well as having these feelings of guilt swarm in his cluttered mind. After all this had never had happened if he had not let someone as vulnerable and young as Beck take on such a horrible role, but he did, and now look where he lay. The room was lacking noise for a good half a hour or so before a knock on the door shattered the silence.

"Oh god..." Millie mumbled, freezing before slowly making her way towards the door. She grabbed a hand gun from the counter before so much as touching the handle though. Leon remained seated with his hands still holding his face, he was now breathing heavily and almost tugging the hair from his scalp.

"I-It's Elisa,"

The red haired girl slowly cracked open the door with her gun at the ready before identifying her and allowing entrance, though she briefly checked the corridor after to see if anyone had followed. Once satisfied, she returned and threw the weapon back on the counter and turned back to Elisa. "You could have waited till morning." Millie said simply, though she held no hatred in her tone, but no sympathy either. They were just empty words.

Beck jolted upwards at the sound of Elisa's voice but due to his drugged state and groggy feeling he slowly lowered himself back onto the bed. It also seemed like despite the numbed pain he could still feel the stiches tug when he moved. It was highly unpleasant. "E...Elisa." He quietly groaned, though it was made obvious he was not pleased with her seeing him in this kind of state. Millie rushed over to his side and gently placed a hand on his shoulder to force him to fully lay down. "Please Beck hun. We don't want the wound opening again. Just rest...please.." Millie pleaded, seeming quite stressed.

The blonde haired youth nodded and lay his head back on the pillow, but pulled his hand into a position that would allow his girlfriend to hold his hand. "He should be alright. I fixed him up but he might need to take it easy for a while. That's the least of your worries though." Millie explained briefly, sounding like she was talking as she would in a workplace, half because she could not talk to Elisa normally without saying something offensive and the other half because this was her work really.

"As you can see.." Leon started up, finally lifting his face and forcing him to knock off this state of pitiful depression and actually do something about the situation. "We did not exactly have the best of nights. Please do not get angry or force Beck to move or else we will have to ask you to leave. He is still groggy and drowsy from the...drugs. I'll answer your questions, but you might not like the answers Elisa."

"You could have waited till morning."

She noted that the girl didn't have an attitude, per say, but the statement itself seemed a little aggressive. "Yes well, I guess I'm impatient," Elisa replied flatly, giving Millie a glare. Did they really expect her to just wait around, knowing what she knew about tonight? The vibe she was getting from Millie and Leon was not a good one, however, and suggested that she was right to worry in the first place. She scanned the room looking from Millie, to Leon - who looked concerningly upset - and finally to Beck.

"E...Elisa."
"Please Beck hun. We don't want the wound opening again. Just rest...please.."

Never in her life had she heard Beck's voice so weak and immediately the color drained from her face when she noticed the stitches. She muttered a quiet, but obviously distressed "Oh my God." before rushing to his side and taking the hand he had offered her. He looked so pale and it made her sick to her stomach. She leaned against the bed and gave her best to give him a smile, noting that he obviously wasn't in a state to deal with her frantic questioning. "Hey, B." She whispered

Her boyfriend was laying down, drugged, and wounded and Leon thought she wasn't going to be even the tiniest bit angry? The man was large and covered in tattoos and in a gang, but in that moment she gave him the most viscous look that had possibly ever been given to a man in the history of ever. It was almost like her green eyes had even gone a shade darker and she looked like a black mamba about to attack. "My boyfriend is hurt. He was bleeding and he's all stitched up and not in a hospital because he's part of your stupid, fucked up gang. What more could I possibly have to be worried about? What. Fucking. Happened? And what fucking drug did you give him?" Her words were short, each one almost sounding like it's own sentence, and filled with rage. This wasn't supposed to happen. She had already guessed that Beck had been stabbed, that was obvious from the wound itself, but by who and why did it escalate to a stabbing at all? Her questions were directed at both Millie and Leon at this point, and she looked ready to kill them both.
