♦ The Minors ♦

Millie

Image Being all too honest, Millie has the sterotype of being a complete slut although she is very helpful to the Shards. She is medically skilled and has pulled them out of trouble so many times in the past. She has her eye on Beck, but he pays no attention to her.

Leon
Image

The Lieutenant of the Shards. A man who is willing to devote his life to his gang and is now the male who is in the running to be leader. This is not the male who was planning to force the Shards to fight. Beck is very close to him and appreciates his help.

So begins...

Beck Hades.

"Yes well, I guess I'm impatient,"

Millie quite literally bit her tongue to stop a babble of hatred escaping her lips. Leon, who was now shaking his leg almost manically to some kind of silent beat also looked incredibly irritated by her presence, but it was unlikely he had even heard the response. Everything was a rather horrible white noise to the brunette.

"Oh my God."
"Hey, B."

Beck clutched at her hand as though she was going to be torn away from him at an second now, which right now was quite possible considering Malachai's threats. He began choking back his own tears as their eyes met. Everything had become a giant mess of unneeded danger and even though it was not even his own fault, he certainly did feel to blame. Elisa did not need this, especially due to her current mental condition; it was unlikely she could cope with this. Still, the blonde youth did not wish to lie to her or withhold information. He just hoped that Leon would explain in more detail and Beck's jaw already felt too heavy to open with ease. Still he let out a soft snarl with the words. "Y..your ex is a bastard."

"My boyfriend is hurt. He was bleeding and he's all stitched up and not in a hospital because he's part of your stupid, fucked up gang. What more could I possibly have to be worried about? What. Fucking. Happened? And what fucking drug did you give him?"

"Please remember Elisa that Beck Hades is not just your boyfriend. Everyone in this room and many more elsewhere also care about him, so don't you dare think for one second that you are the ONLY ONE feeling this, because I'll tell you now that's utter bullshit!" Leon started, suddenly snapping out of this monotone and depressing trace and rising to his feet with a sharp finger pointed at the frail looking girl. The tattooed male was massive, well built, and there was something terrifying in the way he stood that seemed to put all others below him in his presence. It was a complete contrast to his usual calm and respectful aura that he had maintained in the past occurrences with Elisa; still at the current moment his eyes gleamed with something the resembled guilt. "Don't say he is in my gang. It's his gang, not mine." Leon explained, almost seeming like he was reassuring himself rather than her.

Millie began tugging lightly at his sleeve, persuading the large male to seat himself back in the chair and presenting him with a glass of water that he just held in his palms, twirling the cup in his fingers. The red haired female also took a seat at the other side of the room, waiting for the chance for her to put her input if it was helpful. Now seemed to be the correct time. "I gave him a small amount of heroin to work in a way that is similar to morphine, it will help with the pain and also keep him tired enough for the wound to at least calm. It's not like his body is new to the drug so it should not affect him too negatively." She explained in a very matter of fact tone, before allowing Leon to continue with his explanation of the events.

"They saw Beck as a laughing stock of course. It was deemed pretty cowardly to hide your face after being attacked in the past and so they kept snapping at him with what seemed meaningless threats and insults. Our lad actually stood his ground pretty well despite this but he well...lost it completely when he came into contact with some guy by the name of Malachai. I don't actually understand why he lost it completely but it is clear this man is in some relation to you. He ended up with a stab wound in his stomach and Beck also shot two bullets into his thigh. As this man went down he promised that he would see you both dead as soon as possible." Leon explained, his Adam’s apple bobbling in his throat with unease.

"That is why this situation is worse than just a stab wound."

"Y..your ex is a bastard."

Beck's words confused her. Her ex was a bastard? Malachai didn't even cross her mind at those words, so she went through a reel in her mind of people who could possibly be considered 'exes.' There were a few people, but she had never really...dated them, per say. Either way, she hadn't the slightest idea where Beck could have met one of them. Especially at a gang meet up, where none of the entitled rich kids she knew would be caught dead. She brushed him off as delirious from blood loss and shook her head. She wasn't sure how to respond, so she just ran her thumb across the top of his hand. "Are you okay?" She whispered, hoping that he would say something sensible like 'No, absolutely not. Take me to a hospital this instant.' But she knew that was unlikely.

"Please remember Elisa that Beck Hades is not just your boyfriend. Everyone in this room and many more elsewhere also care about him, so don't you dare think for one second that you are the ONLY ONE feeling this, because I'll tell you now that's utter bullshit!"

"Don't say he is in my gang. It's his gang, not mine."

At any other time, she might have cowered at Leon and his sudden anger, but she was just as angry as he was and adrenaline was pumping through her veins in abundance. "I never said none of you cared. Did you here that at all? No? Because I never fucking said it. I get that what you have here is some fucked up family. I don't understand, but Beck told me that much. I am allowed to be angry. I'm allowed to be frustrated that none of you will take him to get proper medical attention. What if he's bleeding internally? I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say you don't have an MRI or an X-Ray machine, or even years and years of medical training to allow you to deduce that at a glance. So forgive me, if I don't give a shit about any of your feelings." Elisa snapped right back at him. "And further more, who puts a seventeen year old boy in charge of a fucking gang? Someone who's still in high school, with their entire lives ahead of them? What fucking moron thought that that was okay? Even if Beck agreed to it, no one should let that fucking happen."

Elisa's voice was raised, filled with venomous anger and a hint of fear. She wasn't apart of this gang. She didn't belong anywhere in their hierarchy. She might have been playing with fire, but at this point she didn't care if she got burned.

"I gave him a small amount of heroin to work in a way that is similar to morphine, it will help with the pain and also keep him tired enough for the wound to at least calm. It's not like his body is new to the drug so it should not affect him too negatively."

If Elisa didn't look wild already, like a lioness pouncing on a zebra, she did then. Heroin? They gave someone who had just been stabbed heroin? As a sedative? She began to grind her teeth and it was taking all she had not to totally and completely lose it on a room full of virtual strangers. The only reason she hadn't was the last thing Millie had said. His body wasn't new to the drug. It rang through her mind like a thousand bells and she wanted to scream, but who to shocked and enraged to do so.

...As this man went down he promised that he would see you both dead as soon as possible."

Malachai. Malachai. How did they hear that name? How did they know she had known somebody with that name? The color in her face drained and she shook her head. "That's not possible. Malachai is and has been dead for a very long time. You or someone else is playing a sick joke." Her voice shook as she spoke and was much quieter than it had been before. She looked back to Beck, still holding tightly onto his hands.

If Malachai was alive and had really lost it enough to stab Beck, she prayed to a God she wasn't sure she believed in that he never found out about Jess.

Beck Hades.

"Are you okay?"

The blonde haired male let out a soft weak laugh that made his stomach ache with this odd horrible feeling but lacked the pain. "What do you...want me to say?" He questioned shaking his head, also stroking her hand lightly. She was warm. There was summer in her veins. It was beautiful.

"I get that what you have here is some fucked up family. So forgive me, if I don't give a shit about any of your feelings."

Millie then began hissing like a snake her fists clenched tightly and shaking with pure rage. She got up out of the chair and then stepped forward raising a fist, looking like she was willing to punch the brunette in the nose until it spilled crimson, but after a few deep breaths she took her seat again. "Do you know what hospitals require little bitch? Explanations. Sure you take Beck to a hospital and you tell them what happened. I'm sure you could manage with just visiting him in prison right? Go ahead. You fucking fool. Don't doubt my work either. This is not the first stab wound I have dealt with." The red haired girl growled, before closing her eyes, appearing tired.

"And furthermore, who puts a seventeen year old boy in charge of a fucking gang? Someone who's still in high school, with their entire lives ahead of them? What fucking moron thought that that was okay? Even if Beck agreed to it, no one should let that fucking happen."

Leon felt his stomach roll over inside him and his pupils grew to a inhuman size. It took only seconds before he could feel his blood pumping through the veins on his forehead. He tried not to display his guilt, but it shone in his eyes as though it was the only thing that was inside him. Beck squeezed Elisa's hand to get her attention. He sighed, and looked at her pleadingly. "Stop. This conversation is p..pointless." He hummed. Leon meanwhile was trying to contain the sick feeling inside of him, but he did not reply to her questions.

"That's not possible. Malachai is and has been dead for a very long time. You or someone else is playing a sick joke."

"That was his name. He very clearly knew you. He was also very alive. Beck tried to end his life with those bullets but he is very much still alive and vengeful." Leon explained, his voice now cold and sharp. "He matched that photo Elisa." Beck chimed in now twisting his head to face the wall and falling into silence. The room was quite dead for several minutes. "I can't believe you dated..HIM."

"What do you...want me to say?"

Elisa shook her head with tears starting to fill up in her eyes, though she did her best not to let them slip out. She kneeled down next to him, still holding his hand. He had been stabbed, he was on heroin, and she had no idea what to do about the situation. She hated it, she wished she had pleaded with him more and told him not to go...maybe then he would've listened, though she knew that was just wishful thinking. "Nothing, that was a stupid question. I love you." She smiled.

"Do you know what hospitals require little bitch? Explanations. Sure you take Beck to a hospital and you tell them what happened. I'm sure you could manage with just visiting him in prison right? Go ahead. You fucking fool. Don't doubt my work either. This is not the first stab wound I have dealt with."

At this point, Elisa looked like she could stab someone. "Do you know what you do when a hospital requires explanations, whore? You fucking lie. It's not that hard to do. And I don't give a shit if you've sewn up a thousand people, unless you have some super power it's only been luck that none of them have died. If none of them have died." Elisa was livid, she wanted to burn this entire building to the ground. She had never been so angry. In her life she had experienced a lot of emotions intensely, but never had she felt a rage that burned like hellfire itself.

She had been to her own fair share of hospitals and each time she or someone else had talked her way out of being institutionalized. In fact, as she was sure Beck could recall, one of those times had been a couple of days ago. The stitches on her arm were still there, the bandages to hid the gore had been changed. "A doctor doesn't give a shit as long as they're paid." Elisa hissed.

"That was his name. He very clearly knew you. He was also very alive. Beck tried to end his life with those bullets but he is very much still alive and vengeful."

"He matched that photo Elisa."

"I can't believe you dated..HIM."

The words made her sick and she still didn't believe them. They had to be making a mistake. Her parents had handed her an obituary. She had seen the newspaper article. They wouldn't go that far to fake a death, would they? Not even they could sink so low? The color drained from her face and she was nearly as pale as Beck at that point. Malachai had always been crazy, just a little bit. She had had mutual friends who had even warned her at the time. She simply hadn't cared. He distracted her. He provided a thousand distractions and she had needed them all. "Beck that's not...I saw....No, just no." She stated. The words went from scared to completely emotionless by the end.

Still, she refused to believe that Malachai was alive.

Because then she could never forgive her parents.

Beck Hades

"Nothing, that was a stupid question. I love you."

Beck Hades had never been more desperate for a kiss in his whole entire life. A soft smile fell on his hips and his heart began to race a little faster than normal. It was after a few seconds that it actually missed a beat, as he realised himself and her both had a bounty on their lives. Malachai told him that this girl would die before his own eyes. The blonde youth began to cry but did not state a reason why. "I love you too...I mean it..." He whispered quietly as tears began to steam down his cheeks, but he did not have the energy to sob.

"Do you know what you do when a hospital requires explanations, whore? You fucking lie. It's not that hard to do. And I don't give a shit if you've sewn up a thousand people, unless you have some super power it's only been luck that none of them have died. If none of them have died."
"A doctor doesn't give a shit as long as they're paid."

Millie watched as Elisa quickly turned as crimson as her hair, and she could not help but let her lips form into a slight smirk. "Fucking hell who lit the dynamite?" The girl joked, before quickly choking down her laughter to give a real response. "All you need to know sunshine is that without me Beck would be dead. That is fact and you all know it." She told her, earning a swift agreeing nod from Leon. "You have bigger issues than him not receiving professional care." He stated simply, running his hands through his hair, as he clearly was growing more and more uncomfortable and anxious. "I'm sorry to say this but I don't think this ends here..."

"Beck that's not...I saw....No, just no."

"Do you actually t..think I'm a liar...?" Beck questioned with his cold blue eyes shining. The youth managed to clasp her hand and provide her with a small amount of comfort. She seemed to be falling into a state of deep shock. "I remember the face of the man who shoved a blade in my side...a..and I remember the photo of my girlfriends ex-boyfriend....Elisa?" He paused, squeezing his palm to try and grasp the brunettes attention. "Are you okay?" The Shards leader tried to sit upright before remembering his new wound and relaxing slowly back into the bed.

He was still crying. He could not stop crying. He was scared she would cry. He was scared.

"Would you k..kiss me? I miss your lips."

"I love you too...I mean it..."

She smiled, it was small and sad by a smile nonetheless. When tears began to fall down his face, she assumed it was pain and wiped them from his cheeks, pressing her lips to his forehead. It hurt her to see him this way, knowing there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't heal him, she couldn't take the pain away, all she could do was sit there and hold him and hope that everything would turn out okay. Elisa loved him so much and she was so afraid for him, of the life he led. She wished that they were normal, but knew that normal would never be an option. Not anytime soon. "I know you do. I mean it too. Always." She whispered, smiling again and running a hand through his hair, attempting to comfort him in any way that she could.

"Fucking hell who lit the dynamite?"

A moron with red hair. Elisa thought, but kept it in. Elisa had never been a particularly violent person, but boy was Millie walking on a line that could change that at any second. She wished she had a match and some kerosene to light that bitch aflame, but instead chose to ignore her.

"You have bigger issues than him not receiving professional care."
"I'm sorry to say this but I don't think this ends here..."

She didn't agree. She did think that the largest issue here was making sure Beck was okay right now and she didn't understand Leon or Millie for not thinking the same way. This world, Beck's world, was so different and massively infuriating. She considered whipping out her phone and ringing for an ambulance despite their words, but held back...for the time being. In her head she had already decided that she would if she noticed any negative change in Beck's condition.

Leon saying that it didn't end here, however, had her worried. More than worried. She wasn't concerned for herself, but she didn't want Beck getting hurt again - possibly killed. "Well what would you have me or him do? Hide? If what you're saying is true, which I'm still not saying I believe you, what would you like me to do? Because right now, I don't think anything can be done except care for Beck."

She was getting a headache from speaking to these people who appeared to never be on the same page as her. She wanted them to just leave, for them to go away, but she was at their place and she knew she'd have to go if she wanted to go away. With Beck in his condition, that was definitely not an option.

"Do you actually t..think I'm a liar...?"

"Beck that's not what I'm saying. It just...It doesn't...You know why I can't believe that." Not only will she have spent the last few years of her life believing a lie, but Jess was in the picture and she didn't want to believe her biological father was alive and some crazed, gang member with a fetish for stabbing people. If it were true, Elisa would have to live in fear for not her life, but Jess's and also Beck's. If Malachai was alive she spent the last few years telling herself good things about a would be murderer, no better than that woman who married Charles Manson.

Every good memory she had, everything she tried desperately to hold on to would be shattered. She'd lose it.

She could never tell Jess who her father was and might never tell her that she was her really mom, because who wants to be told they came from a psycho and a broken girl? "He didn't...if it was really him, he didn't say anything about Jess did he? He wouldn't know. He shouldn't know." She couldn't meet anyone's gaze and she hoped Beck hadn't told anyone here about the little girl. "I'd have to keep her safe and I don't even know how to do that on a normal day."

She felt her voice shaking and her eyes fill up with tears that she wouldn't let fall.

"Are you okay?"

She sucked in a breath and smiled for the third time. "I think what matters is if you're okay." Elisa told him, wiping the tears from his face again.

"Would you k..kiss me? I miss your lips."

He didn't have to ask twice. She pressed her lips to his, a kiss filled with fear and worry.

Beck Hades.

"Well what would you have me or him do? Hide? If what you're saying is true, which I'm still not saying I believe you, what would you like me to do? Because right now, I don't think anything can be done except care for Beck."

By now Leon was completely fuming as his face burned a bright red shade and he clenched his knuckles hard. This girl was completely impossible. He could understand that her emotions were more than likely taking over her logic at the moment but she would not accept how much of a serious mess the group were in. "Elisa you really need to take this seriously! Why on earth would we bullshit to you over something so horrible!? That...man...talked about you like he had known you all his life and he pushed a knife into blondie over here!" He yelled with that same domineering voice that he had perfected almost too well.

It was not visible that he was taking 5 deep breaths in and out to calm his rage. He paused before opening his eyes that met on line with Elisa's. "I don't know what to suggest the pair of you to do. However you are correct in the fact that nothing can be done until Beck is back on his feet. The biggest issue I can see though, if the fact that Malachai knows where you live. I don't know if he would attack your family but maybe your house is not a safe place anymore."

Beck let out a huge gasp as through he was choking and his hands began to shake as he remembered about Jess. Surely Malachai new about his daughter right? Maybe not? Would he hurt her? Surely not. The blonde male managed to calm himself but he wanted to let fly a large amount of questions at Elisa, but here was definitely not the place to do so.

"Beck that's not what I'm saying. It just...It doesn't...You know why I can't believe that."

The youth let out something that sounded like a snarl before pushing his face into the pillows. He had so many thoughts rushing through his mind right now and it was painful to have them buzzing there. It made him feel ill, but that might have just been the after effects of heroin.

"He didn't...if it was really him, he didn't say anything about Jess did he? He wouldn't know. He shouldn't know."
"I'd have to keep her safe and I don't even know how to do that on a normal day."

Beck was glad that it was her that brought up this conversation but wondered if it was wise or ethical to talk about it here. Still she did not give away who exactly Jess was to her, just that she was related to Malachai in some way. "No..no..But like Leon said..." He explained to her with his own voice shaking. Beck could not finish his sentence but he did not really need to. "I don't care about myself anymore Elisa. I'm too busy bathing in my own self-pity. So the least I can do is care about you."

"I think what matters is if you're okay."

"I really wish that stab wound had...killed me. Things would be a lot easier right now if that was the case. The police would get him for murder and we would not have to deal with this shit." He talked to the pillow as his lips were buried in the fabric, making his dialect muffled and barely audible. Still he was being completely honest with what he was saying.

He wished he had died.

Beck Hades

"If anyone even made it passed the gate without being buzzed in by myself or another family member without a proper invitation, they'd be escorted off the property and promptly arrested for trespassing. My home isn't exactly low on security, my parents wouldn't take risks like that."

"You talk to us like we are shit on the bottom of your shoe, when we are just trying to help you out!" Millie exclaimed, the words rolling off her tongue as though it was purposeful as a roar. As she lifted her face a glimmer of tears hid in the corner of her eyes. As much as the red head woman might as well have been an unapologetic succubus she was still a young girl who had been through more trauma than anyone should ever have to experience, and it was pretty kind to say that Elisa was not helping her cause either. Millie just walked to the corner of the room and silently took a seat, now glaring off into space as though she could see the whole galaxy on that wall.

"Do you understand what it would mean if Malachai was alive, Leon? No, of course you don't, because other than knowing he's some ex boyfriend with a history of being dead, you don't know anything about him at all or his background with me. You don't know who that would destroy or why, because it's not just me and Beck. So don't you doubt for a second that I am not taking this seriously because someone I care for more than anybody in this room is at risk. There is just nothing I can do right now or you can do, unless you plan on hunting him down and killing him. Which, by all means, feel fucking free. And how do you know he's not dead already? You said Beck shot him in the leg. There are some pretty important arteries there. Let's hope he hit one."

Leon was also too exhausted to try and talk anymore sense into her and so just gave very blunt and simple responses. "You are just trying to be difficult now. You are right I don't know very much about the situation, but instead of shutting me out you should try and allow yourself to accept I am not your enemy." He explained with a heavy sigh, but never removed his pupils away from her own. "And you are right Malachai might be dead...

...but what would that make Beck?"

Elisa's lips on Beck's knuckles spilt summer into his veins and was incredibly comforting considering his situation. He actually managed to smile as he felt this warmth on his skin. As she smothered him with her arms he actually felt a little bit of peace in his soul. He did not want her to move. The conversation going on around him was kind of an unpleasant mush of unwanted noise so he just did his best to ignore it.

"You were stabbed and currently high on heroin. I don't think I'm the one that needs to be cared for in this situation,"

"Don't you ever say that Beck Hades. Don't you fucking dare even think that ever again because you just spit in the face of anyone who has ever cared for you or loved you or needed you. If you didn't have a knife sized hole in you, I would slap you right now!"

The blonde youth let out a fake chuckle as she yelled at his comments, yet tears began to drip into the bed sheets once again. "What? My Father? Constantly high off paint fumes and is pleased when his son has dinner at home once a week? Or my Mum who I have not heard from since I came over seas? I only have you and a few close friends, and even then sometimes you have to be selfish." He whispered.

"Would you two like to be left alone? Me and Millie would just be in the flat next door since we own both. I don't want you to leave here though and I want you to keep the door locked. Do you hear me?..." Leon offered the pair with a half attempted smile. He was now lightly holding Millie's hand for comfort as she had seemed to have fallen numb at what was occurring. Not only was it scary and situation to be in...but it was also pretty heart-breaking to see Beck and his Girlfriend comforting one and other.

"You talk to us like we are shit on the bottom of your shoe, when we are just trying to help you out!"

"Oh please. I never said that, quit being melodramatic. Your inferiority complex is showing." The moment the words left her mouth Elisa regretted them. She sounded like her mother and she looked a little stunned that she had taken it that far in this situation. She sighed when she realized Millie had gotten teary eyed before she had even said anything.

"I'm sorry. I'm letting stress get to me and I guess I can be a bit...snippy." She meant the apology, though it definitely wasn't touchy feely sounding.

"You are just trying to be difficult now. You are right I don't know very much about the situation, but instead of shutting me out you should try and allow yourself to accept I am not your enemy."

"I don't know you, so don't think for a second that I will attempt to trust you or anyone in this fucking room because it will not happen." She was angry, frustrated and exhausted. Her entire being was running on fumes and the stress was making her dizzy.

"And you are right Malachai might be dead...

...but what would that make Beck?"

"It makes him not dead and someone who reacted in self defense, if that's what you're getting at." Elisa rubbed at her temples, feeling as though these people would never be on the same page as her. They couldn't get her to understand them and she couldn't get them to understand her. Their worlds were entirely too separate and worked in completely different ways. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to try and combine the two, like water and oil.

"This is going in circles. Perhaps we should try and discuss this again later." She finally said with a sigh.

"What? My Father? Constantly high off paint fumes and is pleased when his son has dinner at home once a week? Or my Mum who I have not heard from since I came over seas? I only have you and a few close friends, and even then sometimes you have to be selfish."

Elisa sat back and pulled away from him. She clenched her jaw bone to keep tears from spilling over from her eyes. "Even if you think only a few people love you and care, that is still something. You're right, I'm a selfish bitch. I'm spoiled, I can be a bit of an elitist. I make stupid choices, if I can make a choice at all. I'm human and I'm flawed, if you expected some perfect being free of all faults that's on you. Not me. What does it matter if your mom is doesn't care? Or that your dad doesn't know how to show that he cares? It doesn't mean he doesn't. That doesn't change that I love you. That doesn't change the fact that the people in this room love you and you're blind if you can't see that, or maybe you're the selfish one who simply doesn't care." In her mind, he had just told her that her love wasn't enough for him and it completely broke her heart.

"Would you two like to be left alone? Me and Millie would just be in the flat next door since we own both. I don't want you to leave here though and I want you to keep the door locked. Do you hear me?..."

"I don't know if he still wants me here. So that's for Beck to decide." Elisa said flatly, though her face was visibly pained. The last few days had been way too eventful for the healthiest of seventeen year olds, much less for one like her. She wanted to go home a sleep for a few days or years and forget everything. Part of her wanted to take everything back and start over again in a new town, with new people. Running away was starting to feel like a habit.

Beck Hades.

"It makes him not dead and someone who reacted in self defense, if that's what you're getting at."

Leon sighed, now hitting his palm against his forehead and closing his eyes. "It's unlikely the judge will think that after examining the whole situation, and even if they believe that it would still go down as manslaughter. Plus I can tell you now that they could work out a lot of other nasty sentences to give to Beck and many other people. We don't exactly have the clearest of names you know?" The brunette explained, clearly very irritated by her ignorance and dismissal.

"This is going in circles. Perhaps we should try and discuss this again later."

The man simply responded with "I don't actually think it is me that is causing the issue." However after that, he did close his jaw with a snap, though it was difficult to hold his tongue.

That doesn't change the fact that the people in this room love you and you're blind if you can't see that, or maybe you're the selfish one who simply doesn't care."

"Elisa..." Beck whispered, clearly utterly gob smacked at her response and rather hurt by it. He placed his warm hand on her cheek and gazed into her eyes; her irises currently looked like they were covered in dew. "I hate saying this but she is right. You should watch what you say sunshine." Millie piped up, but her voice was still rather shaking and she was now clinging to Leon as though she was a small child and he was her Father.

The blonde haired youth signed lightly before swallowing uncomfortably causing his Adam's apple to bob in his throat. "I...I did not mean that I did not think you loved me or questioned anyone else's care. I don't really know what I meant. I just feel trapped. This situation is almost impossible to escape and its not just me its affecting. Maybe that option is the best solution, even if it is running away from everything like a scared little bitch." He paused, seeming to choak on his own breath. "After all, being a coward is what I do best right?"

"I don't know if he still wants me here. So that's for Beck to decide."

"I DO still want you here! Please leave us. I'll call you if I need you..." The man told them and so the pair headed to the door obediently. Beck managed a smile and as they turned for a last glance at him he addressed them again. "Thank you for everything...I'm sorry it ended up this way."

"I don't actually think it is me that is causing the issue."

Elisa looked ready to attack the much larger man before her and if it wasn't for Beck she might have. She absolutely thought it was him causing the issue and this whole damn gang was the issue to start with, not to mention that she literally disagreed with everything the man said and they both had very different views or opinions on the outcome of the situation. If it were possibly to murder someone with a glare, Leon would have curled keeled over right then and there.

"Agree to disagree." She muttered, voice dripping with a quiet hostility, before returning her attention to Beck.

"Elisa..."
"I hate saying this but she is right. You should watch what you say sunshine."

Even if it was Millie, Elisa was glad to finally have someone in her court and she looked back at the redhead with an appreciative glance. When Beck laid his hand on her cheek, she stared into his eyes still holding back her own tears - determined to not let them fall. He had seen enough of her crying to last a lifetime and she was tired of doing it. She was still upset and hurt by his words, her features clearly outlining that fact.

"I...I did not mean that I did not think you loved me or questioned anyone else's care. I don't really know what I meant. I just feel trapped. This situation is almost impossible to escape and its not just me its affecting. Maybe that option is the best solution, even if it is running away from everything like a scared little bitch."

"After all, being a coward is what I do best right?"

"Why do you keep calling yourself that? You're not a coward. Maybe a little reckless, but certainly not craven." She said, giving a small smirk.

After a few moments of tracing circles with her pointer finger on his palm, she sighed. "And there's nothing you can do right now. We're in a bit of a mess, but we can think of ways to clean it up tomorrow. Until then, you're injured and you need to relax for a bit. As much as you can, anyway."

She kissed his shoulder, unsure what to say that would comfort him or quiet his thoughts. Her own mind was still buzzing with fear and confusion and anger, but knowing there was nothing she could do about it for the time being she decided to push those thoughts aside.

"I DO still want you here! Please leave us. I'll call you if I need you..."

When they were out the door, Elisa finally felt like she could truly relax. It was obvious she wasn't going to get along well with those two, at least for now and she had been tensed up the entire time...and filled with rage. Her shoulders visibly dropped and she pressed her forehead against Beck's chest.

"That was...interesting," She grumbled, wanting to crawl up next to him and hold on for dear life, but didn't fearing she would hurt him further.

Beck Hades.

"Why do you keep calling yourself that? You're not a coward. Maybe a little reckless, but certainly not craven."

Beck sighed despite her soft smile and turned away from her, almost speaking into the pillow. "Yeah but it's all they ever said to me. I can hear it ringing in my ears now over and over again you know? Makes me sick." He told her, way too bluntly for it to make the situation comfortable in anyway. "My situation was hard to start with. I don't think...being a gang leader is something I should be doing."

"I actually never wanted it."

There was a second or two of silence then, it kind of sounded as though he was going to follow up with a full conversation about what he meant but Beck seemed to cut it incredibly short.

"And there's nothing you can do right now. We're in a bit of a mess, but we can think of ways to clean it up tomorrow. Until then, you're injured and you need to relax for a bit. As much as you can, anyway."

The blonde haired youth turned back to her, forcing a smile as he appreciated what she was saying and tried to clear everything from his mind apart from her. Of course that was impossible. He then slowly shuffled his body over to the side of the bed, grunting in pain as he did and scrunching his face, hands shaking by the end of it. "Come lay next to me. Just watch my side." He told her, his eyes almost pleading for her to obey.

"That was...interesting,"

"I'm sorry things were hard for you then but you have to remember they don't mean anything bad at all. They just want to help. It's also not just us who have things to worry about." Beck explained before having a grin fall on his lips. "You're very stubborn you know. I don't know if you can see that. Stubborn and...absolutely beautiful." He whispered before taking her warm hand in his and holding it tightly, as though she could be snatched away at any time.

There was a thud on the wall next door with the sound of Millie's chuckles and Leon asking her if she was alright following it. Beck tried his best to ignore it but he could take a good guess about what was going to occur in that flat.

"Your ex boyfriend is a total maniac. I hope you don't date me cause I remind you of him. I really hope that's not the case." He told her, seemingly trying to make it amusing but it came out rather darkly.

"Yeah but it's all they ever said to me. I can hear it ringing in my ears now over and over again you know? Makes me sick."
"My situation was hard to start with. I don't think...being a gang leader is something I should be doing."
"I actually never wanted it."

"I'm not familiar with gang politics or anything, but isn't it something you would have to want? I don't know. We'll figure it out. We're kids. Isn't this the time we're supposed to do questionable things?" Elisa said with a defeated sigh.

They were kids who made a bunch of adult decisions and were left with difficult situations. She wasn't sure what to do or what advice to give him, she was unsure of a lot of things...except now it wasn't just her life she was thinking about.

"Come lay next to me. Just watch my side."

She very carefully pulled herself into the spot he made, calculating every movement to cause him the least discomfort she could.

"I worry about you, you know. I should have kidnapped you or something so you didn't go." Her lips turned down in a pout as she looked at him and then to his knife wound.

"What if you died?" She leaned as close to him as she thought she could without hurting him, feeling the warmth of his skin through her clothes. Now that they were alone and she wasn't arguing with people she hardly knew, she was able to comprehend that Beck had been really seriously hurt. Someone had stabbed him, if not with the intent to kill than to cause serious damage.

"I'm sorry things were hard for you then but you have to remember they don't mean anything bad at all. They just want to help. It's also not just us who have things to worry about."

Elisa brushed a hand through her hair, clearly frustrated. "We clearly view things very, very differently." Her words were short and right then that was all she had to say about the situation for the time being.

"You're very stubborn you know. I don't know if you can see that. Stubborn and...absolutely beautiful."

"I've been told I can be on occasion." She teased with a wink

"Your ex boyfriend is a total maniac. I hope you don't date me cause I remind you of him. I really hope that's not the case."

She cleared her throat and refused to look him in the eye. Elisa still didn't entirely believe they had encountered Malachai. It was hard to flip the switch from dead boyfriend to boyfriend who faked his death at her parents behest.

"Seems I have a taste for boys who join gangs." She stated, rather dryly though it was meant to be a joke. She quickly followed up with: "No. I love you. You're very different people."

"Leon said he spoke like he knew me. What did he say?" Perhaps she would better understand what they were telling her, if she knew what was said during their...exchange.

"Well...fancy seeing you here Elisa?"

The voice was familiar and made her cringe like the sound of nails on a chalk board. Her head was fuzzy and the room was spinning, but she knew that she definitely didn't want to be around the voice's owner. "Leeeoon. What are yooou doing here?" She said, her words slurred and her voice high and whiny. She squirmed uncomfortably when she felt his arm around her waist. Elisa hadn't had enough fun yet and she definitely wasn't done dancing like a stripper whose rent was due tomorrow.

"Beeeex, get him off of me," Elisa called out to her dark haired friend, reaching for her. Rebecca laughed and grabbed at her like it was some sort of game, and Elisa returned the drunken giggles.

"He's cuuute." Rebecca announced hopping of the table and grabbing on to his arm. "He ssshhhould do a line with us? Is thish your boyfriend you've been ditching me for? I approoove."

"Cut it cut it cut it! Cut the line, everyone needs to bump! Sooo much energy, soo happy. No not my boyfriend. Boyfriend would be pissed. Boyfriend's friend looks pissed, this is uhh...Leon? Yeah." Elisa leaned into Leon on a way that could be misconstrued as flirty, but was mainly because she was having trouble standing at this point. She had zero desire to leave this party and go back to her depressing life. Here she didn't have to think about it.

"Having fun? I think its about time you headed home don't you? Not walking though."

"Don't be such a buzzkill. Get high, have fun." Elisa's eyes were red and her pupils were so large you could hardly see the green of her irises. When his arm was over her shoulders she frowned. "You're so touchy. Stop it...but warm. Like Beck. I'm always cold." Her words were so disjointed and slurred that she hardly made any sense at all, but simultaneously came across like a lost puppy or little girl. "Don't tell him I'm here. He doesn't need to know. He'll just be sad."

"I thought you were smarter than this."

"You and Beck both. People ssshhhhould really looower their expectations of me." She looked directly at Leon as she said this and scowled. "But I aim to disappoint. I need another linne or pill or something. You're killinnn it." And within a second Rebecca was there with white powder on the top of a book.

"Ask and you ssshaall receive! Enough for your friend too. Haha. Oh goshhh." Rebecca said with a drunken grin on her face and residue still left around one of her nostrils. Elisa reached out pulling away from Leon and quickly took the rolled up dollar bill she had in her pocket, snorting one of the lines. Instantly her face lit up and her eyes started darting around the room. The high was quick, but something told her she had just pushed her limit. She had gone all out tonight in a way she hadn't in a while, and on top of that she had barely eaten more than a few crackers.

She wouldn't remember any of this in the morning.

"Oh gooood, my hearts beating out of control. I don't like it." Elisa said, the quick moment of fun she had had quickly turning into something worse.

"Aww, shit. Not again." Rebecca groaned and nervously glanced at Leon. "Nah, she's probably fine? Maybe? Heh. I dunnooooo. So much fun. Sometimes not. She had to go to the hospital last time."

Leon

"Leeeoon. What are yooou doing here?"

He sighed, already exhausted with this situation. "I'm here to have a good time, like you think you are doing." Leon told her, voice hushed at the part. He replied to Beck's text quickly telling him of their location but not really any details about what was going on. He knew that the blonde would be pretty distressed seeing Elisa in this kind of state, maybe a little betrayed. Part of him felt bad for basically grassing on her.

"He's cuuute."
"He ssshhhould do a line with us? Is thish your boyfriend you've been ditching me for? I approoove."

"What? No no... Huh-" Leon was caught off guard as this girl grabbed his arm, pushing her breasts against him. He could not help but allow a smirk to form on his lips as he caught her eye. She was very attractive. "No no I'm single. Very single." He explained almost purring by this point, but quickly reminded himself it was not in his morals to take advantage of drunk girls.

"Cut it cut it cut it! Cut the line, everyone needs to bump! Sooo much energy, soo happy. No not my boyfriend. Boyfriend would be pissed. Boyfriend's friend looks pissed, this is uhh...Leon? Yeah."

Sighing, he held her against him for structure and brushing the hair from her eyes, looking more fatherly than flirty. "My god what have you done. Why are you even here!?" He exclaimed, rolling his eyes. "You barely even recognise me!"

"Don't be such a buzzkill. Get high, have fun."
"You're so touchy. Stop it...but warm. Like Beck. I'm always cold."
"Don't tell him I'm here. He doesn't need to know. He'll just be sad."

"I'm not feeling you up! I'm barely brushing you. Do you want my jacket? I'm not wearing it. I don't really like it." He said, scooping up his jacket and pulling it around her shoulders before she could even reply. It was for her own benefit and to keep wandering eyes from targeting her; Leon knew some of these guys personally and knew what way they wanted to end their night. However his heart sank at the next comment and he could not even look at her directly. "I'm sorry Elisa. You will understand when your sober. Things are a lot different now." He whispered, texting the blonde of their location as he replied. "Beck's not trying to make you upset, he just knows what is best."

"But I aim to disappoint. I need another linne or pill or something. You're killinnn it."
"Ask and you ssshaall receive! Enough for your friend too. Haha. Oh goshhh."

"Elisa please don't" Leon pleaded, but of course he could not stop her. Who was he to anyway? They barely knew each other. So he just sat, wiggling his leg and feeling uneasy waiting for his friend to arrive. He tipped a full glass down his throat.

"Oh gooood, my hearts beating out of control. I don't like it."
"Aww, shit. Not again."
"Nah, she's probably fine? Maybe? Heh. I dunnooooo. So much fun. Sometimes not. She had to go to the hospital last time."

"Oh for fucks sake!" The brunette screamed, running towards her to pull her arms under her for support and dragging her to a chair to sit. "What do I do?" He asked her friend, glancing her way before turning back to Elisa almost instantly. "Alright come on then deep breaths and try and slow your heart rate for me. Calm down it's going to be alright. Grab her a glass of water will you? If you get better Elisa Beck will look after you rather than you going to hospital...Hey what do you want me to do?"

Beck Hades.

After receiving the details of the location he drove straight there rather clumsily, worried about her state and also who exactly could be lingering at that party. It would take a Emerald to notice his identity in a second and another second for a bullet to hit his chest, or maybe they already knew who Elisa was to him. "Shit...shit shit!" He mumbled, climbing out of the car and heading towards the large house. The stench of weed filled his lungs, making him feel high already.

"Elisa?!? Leon? ELISA!?"

"I'm here to have a good time, like you think you are doing."

Elisa giggled and shook her head. "You don't look like you're having a good time. I'm having all shorts of fun."

"No no I'm single. Very single."

A grimace crossed Elisa's features, not wanting her friend to hook up with one of Beck's gang members. She had enough of that in her life, she didn't need to get Bex involved with that too. She bonked Leon on the forehead with her hand and shook her head at her own friend. "He's lying, he's very taken. This penis is claimed." Elisa stated, still glaring at Leon like she could shoot laser beams from her eyes.

Bex immediately started laughing and brushed her dark hair out of her face. "I only sleep with guys who have something to give anyway. That was our deal and then you went and got a boyfriend. Sad day." She teased Elisa, hanging onto her arm.

"My god what have you done. Why are you even here!?"

"Just wanted make sure Bex was okay. Guys here...they're soooo not good. Ugh. Then I had fun." Elisa said, her eyes not really looking at anything at this point, she was too high and it was a miracle she was managing to say anything at all.

"I'm not feeling you up! I'm barely brushing you. Do you want my jacket? I'm not wearing it. I don't really like it."
"I'm sorry Elisa. You will understand when your sober. Things are a lot different now."
"Beck's not trying to make you upset, he just knows what is best."

Elisa shook her head and shrugged. "I look so cute. Why would I want to cover up? You're huge. I'll look like a bag of a perssson." She told him with an eye roll. She really wasn't happy with Leon being there and likely telling Beck things. "Beck knows what's best. My parents know what's best. When do I get to make decisions? Neeeeever. Not with my baby, not with my life, nothing. Not ever. And then people wonder why I'm craaazy." She started to ramble on and on about various things, sometimes making sense, and clearly not realizing some of what she had revealed.

"What do I do?"

"Um uh uuuuuuuuummm. I don't know. She'll probably puke. She's always overdoing it. That skinny and going that hard isn't a good idea." Rebecca glanced around the room nervously, shifting her wait from foot to foot. She too had gone too far on multiple occasions and Elisa was the one who had to pick up the pieces. It was what they did. They looked out for each other even if their lifestyle wasn't exactly healthy.

"Alright come on then deep breaths and try and slow your heart rate for me. Calm down it's going to be alright. Grab her a glass of water will you? If you get better Elisa Beck will look after you rather than you going to hospital...Hey what do you want me to do?"

Elisa's eyes were darting around the room and her heart was pounding erratically. Her vision would start to tunnel and going back to normal repeatedly. She knew what was going on. "Don't get Beck. Don't tell Beck. Beck shouldn't be out. Nooo. He's hurt. Pleeease. I'll be fine in it a minute." Her breathing became labored, she pulled her knees up to her chest while sitting on the chair.

"Elisa?!? Leon? ELISA!?"

"Leon, what did you do?" She groaned, still feeling like absolute shit and her hands began to shake. Though she was unsure if that was the drugs, her reaction to doing to many, or her anxiety over the entire situation. Her face looked completely defeated and hurt, and maybe even a bit like Leon had betrayed her.

Leon.

"You don't look like you're having a good time. I'm having all shorts of fun."

"I was having a great time till I saw you prancing on the tables like a stripper, so you spoiled my fun. Feel bad now?" He told her, the words seemingly jokey but his tone was dead serious and rather cold.

"He's lying, he's very taken. This penis is claimed."

The brunnete growled as he pushed his forehead back on her hand, before reaching up and grasping her wrist. She was unhealthy cold and skinny to the point where he let go and showed an expression of something similar to disgust. "Hey who are you to spoil my fun!? My penis is NOT claimed." Leon said, trying to lighten the situation.

"I only sleep with guys who have something to give anyway. That was our deal and then you went and got a boyfriend. Sad day."

His stomach twisted as the thought of this girls climbing into bed with guys rather than paying them for the drugs, but he attempted to hide it. "I have something to give. The best sex of your life. What more could you want really?" Leon teased, leaning towards her slightly with a smirk.

"I look so cute. Why would I want to cover up? You're huge. I'll look like a bag of a perssson."
"Beck knows what's best. My parents know what's best. When do I get to make decisions? Neeeeever. Not with my baby, not with my life, nothing. Not ever. And then people wonder why I'm craaazy."

"Yeah well look at the state of you now. You certainly don't know what's best for you. " Leon told her, rolling his eyes before reassessing her words and questioning what she had exactly said. "Wait what...what are you on about Elisa? As in you don't get a choice with Beck? Right?" He tried reassuring her that was what she meant by baby, but just at the mention of it he had basically secured his assumption. He had met many girls like Elisa and many had odd situations that were often kept hush hush until they became rumors or drunken slip ups. It made his mind spiral into a series of new thoughts and ideas. We're Elisa and Beck looking after this kid? He hated admitting it but neither of them appeared up to the challenge.

"Um uh uuuuuuuuummm. I don't know. She'll probably puke. She's always overdoing it. That skinny and going that hard isn't a good idea."
"Don't get Beck. Don't tell Beck. Beck shouldn't be out. Nooo. He's hurt. Pleeease. I'll be fine in it a minute."

"And you let her huh? Some friend you are." Leon spat rather darkly, displaying some of her more true and nastier colours for second. He rummaged under the sick before pulling out a mop bucket and placing it at the brunettes ankles. "Elisa I'm sorry but we need someone to drive you home and he would not have had to come out of you behaved. In fact you shouldn't be out at all you know the situation now. Anyone could be hunting down you and-" He stopped, realising that this was not a private conversation and she was probably too high, drunk and ill to understand his lecture.

Beck.

The blonde came dashing toward the curl curled upon the chair, wincing in pain as his muscles stretched on his stomach, but at this current moment in time he could ignore it. "Oh my god. Elisa why? Oh my god..." Beck mumbled before kneeling on her level and rubbing her back while planting kisses on her shoulder blade. He looked upset, betrayed and almost let down by her. She knew how he felt about these drug and sex filled parties and also that places like this were not safe anymore. "Do we need to call an ambulance or just wait a while?" He asked her, before looking around for anyone else's response. It when then that he met eyes with Leon. He smiled lightly, grateful that he was here to mop up this mess.

"I was having a great time till I saw you prancing on the tables like a stripper, so you spoiled my fun. Feel bad now?"

Elisa made a 'tsk tsk' sound and proceeded to roll her eyes. "Oh my god. A girl's allowed to dance, Leon." She muttered swaying back and forth in her chair.

"Hey who are you to spoil my fun!? My penis is NOT claimed."
"I have something to give. The best sex of your life. What more could you want really?"

The tiny girl gagged very audibly. "I doubt you'd give anyone the best anything." She quipped, clearly uncomfortable with the conversation.

When he grabbed onto her wrist, Elisa's eyes darkened and she clearly wasn't happy, but before she could say anything Bex pipped up with another bubbly laugh of hers and tossed her hair behind her shoulder. "You'd fall in love with me in a minute and I don't do relationships or emotions." She batted her eyelashes and shook her head, still very intoxicated. Bex was beautiful and charming and when she wasn't high off her ass, she was sharp as hell. The last thing Elisa wanted was for her friend to even sleep with someone involved with Beck's gang. She didn't want her getting hurt.

"Yeah well look at the state of you now. You certainly don't know what's best for you. "
"Wait what...what are you on about Elisa? As in you don't get a choice with Beck? Right?"

"Beck didn't tell you anything, did he? Ugh, he's too good. I'm pathetic and gross. He sshould leave me. I'm so much worse than even this." Elisa pouted, looking almost like she was about to cry but she held back her tears. She didn't want to think about this, and she wouldn't ever be drunk enough to explain in detail. Even fucked up she was fiercely protective of that little girl.

"And you let her huh? Some friend you are."

At that point even Bex grew serious. "You don't know anything. We've both got demons you wouldn't understand. We let each other do what we have to and we pick up the pieces if it gets bad. That's all. It's one of our various agreements." Her words were still slurred a little bit, but something about what he said seemed to sober her up a little bit. It was obvious Rebecca and Elisa were close, in their own little way.

"Elisa I'm sorry but we need someone to drive you home and he would not have had to come out of you behaved. In fact you shouldn't be out at all you know the situation now. Anyone could be hunting down you and-"

"Jesus Leon. Shut up would you? I'm not six--" The mop bucket came in handy at that point and Elisa really began to feel like shit. She felt feverish and dizzy. "I feel like I'm gonna die." Her heart was racing and she was really anxious by this point, she was shaking and near tears, the walls felt like they were closing in on her.

"Oh my god. Elisa why? Oh my god..."
"Do we need to call an ambulance or just wait a while?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please just take me home. Please just take me home. You should be home too." His face was breaking her heart and she didn't want to go to the hospital or for him to find out everything she had taken that night or the amount of alcohol she had consumed. She might have needed it. She wasn't in a state to decide that. Her vision tunneled and she leaned into Beck. "Please just take me--"

And then she passed out.

ooc|
Feel free to decide if they take her to a hospital or the gang base or her house.

If it's her house Jess might sneak in. :))

Leon

"I doubt you'd give anyone the best anything."

The brunette scowled under his breath and gave a small 'tsk' sound at her insults. Leon's alpha personality often meant that he judged himself as better than he was at many things, not just sex. He turned to the girl to continue that argument but upon seeing her expression stopped, his jaw halting open before snapping shut again.

"You'd fall in love with me in a minute and I don't do relationships or emotions."

"You sound like me a few years ago." Leon told her which sounded as though it should have gone along with a grin but it didn't. "But people how stay stuff like that are all liars." He finished, sighing and leaning against the fall before taking another large gulps from his can. He did not look her way after that.

"Beck didn't tell you anything, did he? Ugh, he's too good. I'm pathetic and gross. He sshould leave me. I'm so much worse than even this."

Leon pressed the bucket at Elisa's shins with his foot, persuading her to hold it in case she needed it. "He won't leave you. He thinks your the best thing since sliced bread. It's annoying cause the flat's kinda lonely now. Man stealer." He joked with a light smirk, but his voice did have a fair bit of honesty to it.

"You don't know anything. We've both got demons you wouldn't understand. We let each other do what we have to and we pick up the pieces if it gets bad. That's all. It's one of our various agreements."

"We ALL have our demons!" Leon suddenly shrieked, teeth bared and losing his cool persona. He looked like a beast. He looked like someone who had done and seen some real nasty shit in his lifetime. "That doesn't mean we let them get into bad situ-" He stopped, his heart suddenly sinking in his chest and it was round about then when his whole expression changed to pure guilt. Leon rubbed his under eyes and acted as though he had never once spoken up. What he had done to beck was not a act of friendship; it was him being selfish.

Beck

"I feel like I'm gonna die."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please just take me home. Please just take me home. You should be home too."
"Beck."Please just take me--"

The blonde scooped up the bucket and held it under her face while his other arm hugged her around the waist for comfort and support. "Elisa...Elisa your going to be alright I promise. I'm here. You try and take it easy for me alright? Deep breaths..." Beck cooed, trying to keep as calm as possible until she blacked out.

"Oh my god. What do we do? G..get to the car...Get to the fucking car." The youth demanded, swinging the brunette over his shoulder and carrying her outside, not so much as looking in Leon's or anyone else's way to see if they were following but his subordinate sure did follow along obediently. They placed Elisa in the back and Leon climbed in along side her while Beck headed to the drivers seat since he was sober, but not in the best mental state to be driving. He then started the engine.

Leon.

"Are you coming Bex? We could drop you off if you live near by or you can come see if Elisa gets home?" He offered in a bland tone, darting a glance in her direction before focusing his attention back to the girl slumped beside him. She needed to make a choice quickly. "If not I suggest you call someone to take you."

They pulled in at Elisa's house and the pair paused in the car for a second, realising that pulling limp girl into bed with out drawing attention was going to be a difficult, if not impossible task. Deciding that it did not really matter and that her safety and care was priority at the moment they scooped her under the arms and headed towards the door.

Bex.
"You sound like me a few years ago."

At this point Rebecca was over giving any fucks to anyone in the room. Despite her relaxed demeanor, she was insanely stressed over the whole ordeal - just as she was any time Elisa got herself into a mess, but she would never complain. Elisa had probably picked her up out of the gutter far more times than she could count. "What are you, forty? You look barely any older than Elisa and I. A few years make the boys high and mighty, does it?"

"But people how stay stuff like that are all liars."

"I'm a lot of things, but I wouldn't say a liar is one. In fact, I'm pretty damn honest. I have noticed a lot of liars like to point fingers, though." Bex was louder than Elisa, louder and far less tactful. Not to mention she absolutely despised being accused of things she wasn't. Her face twisted into it's natural bitch position and she rolled her eyes when Leon seemed to have his eyes on everything but her.

Elisa.

"He won't leave you. He thinks your the best thing since sliced bread. It's annoying cause the flat's kinda lonely now. Man stealer."

Elisa's head was now swaying with the music and she picked up the bucket at Leon's urging, gripping onto it for dear life. "You're kind of nice when you're not a dick. It's okay though. I know you don't like me." She said with a giggle. "Every time I see you, I'm a mess. You must like he's crazy."

There wasn't any sadness in her face, it was more like she had just stated an amusing fact. "I promise I'm not always crazy. I'm usually like a mouse. Lately I'm just an angry mouse."

At this point Bex was giggling like an idiot as well. "A mouse? God, who are you without me? Normally you're like a sexy lioness. Have all the boys drooling."

Elisa stuck out her tongue towards her friend.

Bex.

"We ALL have our demons!"
"That doesn't mean we let them get into bad situ-"

Bex was reading this boy like a book and it wasn't hard either. She chuckled, lazily holding a red solo cup in her hand - more than likely filled with water as she was now trying to sober up since it didn't seem like anymore partying would get done tonight. "Had an epiphany, did you? You wear your emotions on your face. That's a bad habit; especially if you're a liar, though I don't see you being a very good one."

When Beck came running onto the scene like some kind of enraged knight, she assumed that this was Elisa's boyfriend. He looked so concerned about her and it made Rebecca a little sick to her stomach. She didn't like men. She'd play with them, use them to get what she wanted, but she didn't understand how anyone could love one. She had learned enough in her life to know that romance and love didn't exist, and that was the one thing she would never understand about Elisa.

Elisa passing out was enough to cause Rebecca to go right into panic mode. Her face immediately lost it's cool attitude and turned into concern, but before she could reach the other girl Beck had already scooped her up and was getting ready to leave.

"Are you coming Bex? We could drop you off if you live near by or you can come see if Elisa gets home?"

"Of course I'm coming. You're gonna need someone to cover for you if you get caught and it just so happens that Elisa's parents adore me. If they just saw you two they'd call the cops. Duh." She rolled her eyes and waved her hand as if she was brushing him off like a flea.

The house was completely dark and everyone had gone to bed, and Rebecca was able to punch in the door code without waking anyone. Thankfully, Bex didn't notice anything that would say the Grace parents were home. Normally something would be left out as an indicator; a laptop, car keys, her mother's various files. "God, what would you two do without me? Imagine had I chosen not to come. Would you have just knocked? Come, take her upstairs." She motioned, already leading the way to the bedroom.

She had been here enough when Elisa and her had first met to remember the layout of the house. The place in all it's grandeur never phased her, which was another reason the girls got along so well - they both had billions at their disposal and neither of them were the least bit impressed with it. In fact, the only thing that had ever made Rebecca the least bit jealous about Elisa was her closet. With how into fashion Diana Grace was, Elisa had everything fresh off the runways...and it drove Bex crazy that the seventeen year old chose to wear department store t-shirts and jeans most days. Who would wear converse when they had Alexander McQueens at their disposal?

Elisa.

It didn't take that long to get to her house, but Elisa was already waking back up - still completely trashed and feeling worse than before. The coke had worn off, but she was still feeling the come down from it and it was like the worst hang over of her life...while she was still drunk. She made a sound that was almost inhuman and rolled her head into the space between Beck's shoulder and chest. "You smell soo good. I looove you. You have a nice face. I like your dick too." She rambled on and giggled.

"Goooooood, I'm gonna be so fat tomorrow. Bex, make me throw up more. Alcohol has waaaay too many calories. Mom's gonna be mad. She notices like half a pound, I sweeeeeaaaaar. 'Fat girls don't make it to the runway.' Always trying to book jobs I hate. Stupid, I never go. But she's right. I'm already fat. Gotta go to the gym now." Elisa continued to rant on about various things, being louder than anyone probably needed her to be.
