"I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
"I just have to forget sometimes."

Beck just sighed and began to encase her into his chest. The bed was warm and the pair of them fit perfectly against each others bodies, but obviously he almost smothered her completely, but maybe that was a good thing. "That does not have to be your answer." He replied simply, in a almost harsh tone. "I don't know how you could ever think stuff like that to be your solution. I find they just make more issues." It was coming out that Beck actually used to be a little bit of a home cat and actually avoided parties like that, but gang culture had changed that, but it didn't mean that he enjoyed it. Of course the whole heroin situation had also kind of put him off as his whole body was aching for it and it was the most likely place where it would be available.

"I love you so much, I don't want to upset you. Let's just play pretend and act like it didn't happen."
"Tomorrow, we can be happy again if we just forget today."

"I wish it worked like that Elisa." He said looking down to her head on his chest and stealing a quick kiss. "I love you too...I just...find this whole thing hard you know?" Beck said before seeming to fall into a nasty day dream that must have kept him silent for a good 5 minutes or so. He was trying to shut out the idea that maybe leaving Elisa would be the better option, after all it did seem like he was just putting even more shit on her plate.

"Do you actually think they are fucking? Or what?" He asked Elisa with a chuckle, trying to brighten up the situation a little. "Part of me hopes not cause I'm gunna be honest with you I don't like Bex, but I guess if its one night it doesn't matter anyway. It's been a while since Leon has been with someone new though...it's normally just Millie."

~~~
"Repulsed? I don't recall ever referring to you as repulsive."
"You didn't seem to hold back your sharp tongue on me or Beck. He's not actually that much of an ass you know..." Leon told her with a smile, but quickly came to his alpha's defence. It was obvious had a lot of respect for him and didn't appreciate the tongue lashing she gave him, but either way it did not matter, he had to keep telling himself he was just getting laid.
"I just like to have fun, you didn't seem like the fun type. Can't a girl change her mind?"
"I didn't seem like the fun type! What does that even mean? Show me some fun then..." Leon said, watching her get undressed with focused eyes and followed her as she climbed on top of her. He had ached for this for so long. Someone new. Someone other than her.
"What was it you promised earlier? The best sex of my life? Think you can deliver?"
"You are doubting me way too much." He said with a voice like silk. He held her waist and stroked her stomach and hips before firmly grabbing her ass with a smile, then quite quickly and roughly grabbing her and twisting so that she actually became underneath him with his hands over her wrists. His arms were clearly packed with strength. "Am I not fun Rebecca...?"
First of all he kissed at her lips passionately and roughly, taking in her sweet taste as though he was inhaling something amazing and toxic. He wondered if she actually was alright with him doing that since kissing seemed like such a couple thing and could have been avoided in casual sex. It felt too intimate. Later he began moving down her neck and soon reaching her stomach before sharply biting at the inside of her thighs and then...
***
Leon lay there panting and breathless, totally satisfied and exhausted with the whole experience. It took him a few minutes to catch his breath and pull himself together before turning to the naked girl beside him. "W..Was that alright?" He asked her before pulling his arm around her and tucking her into him until they were spooning. "I fucking loved it..." The brunette pecked at her neck once more before propping his head on the pillow.
Elisa.
"I love you too...I just...find this whole thing hard you know?"
"Oh ew. I don't like the sound of that." The sick feeling in her stomach wasn't just from the fact that she was still a little inebriated, or high from whatever pills she had taken at the party. She frowned. "Everything is hard. So why deal with it, when you can just...not? I don't get it. I tried dealing with things, but all it does is hurt?" Her words were more of a question, worded in a way that almost sounded innocent and unsure - like maybe she had done it wrong, or didn't quite understand.
"I think you care too much about me sometimes. I could die. When I get check ups they say all these things about my weight and how I should be hospitalized, but I never care. So why should you?" While the words themselves could come across as mean, her delivery was more inquisitive and she still had no control over what she was saying - or if she did, she simply didn't care enough to stop the words from coming out.
"Do you actually think they are fucking? Or what?"
"Part of me hopes not cause I'm gunna be honest with you I don't like Bex, but I guess if its one night it doesn't matter anyway. It's been a while since Leon has been with someone new though...it's normally just Millie."
"Bex isn't so bad once you get to know her, but I'm sure you'd say the same about Leon. I don't like Leon." Elisa said, making a face at the idea of her friend and Beck's friend doing the horizontal hokey pokey only a few rooms away. Not that she was absolutely worried about it, but it was still very weird and Leon was in a gang. Not that Elisa could really say anything about that, with her boyfriend leading that very gang, but she didn't want her friend involved either. "I wouldn't think too much about it. She doesn't get very attached. Commitment phobia or something. She had an ex that was pretty awful, decided not to get to close to boys or girls in a romantic sense after that." There was more to the story than that, but it wasn't Elisa's to tell. She shrugged.
"Please don't be mean to, Bex. I promise she can be a sweetheart. She's defensive over me. Like Leon is about you." She smiled, breathing him in, trying to ignore any negativity.
Bex.
"You didn't seem to hold back your sharp tongue on me or Beck. He's not actually that much of an ass you know..."
"And Elisa is crazy when she's stressed, but the kindest soul you'll ever meet when she's not. We defend our friends because we love them." Bex shrugged, as if this was some sort of no brainer. She barely knew the two boys, but she had known Elisa for years and would stand up for her until the day she died. If she was loyal to anyone, it was her best friend.
"Am I not fun Rebecca...?"
The use of Bex's full name had taken her off guard and that showed clearly on her face. Normally she'd absolutely despite being called Rebecca in place of her usual moniker, but there was something sexy about the way he had said it that made her want him even more. "Let's find out, Leon."
"W..Was that alright?"
"I fucking loved it..."
"Looking at you, I'd never guess you were the stuttering type, but that's twice now and it's absolutely adorable." Bex commented, a lazy grin on her face as she looked at him from the side of her eye. Her hair was now tousled and her eyeliner had run slightly, but she looked very content. "And what? You couldn't tell I was enjoying it? It was more than alright." It had been a long time since she had been with someone that...took his time, so to speak.
When he pulled her in to snuggle she tensed. It was warm and inviting and different, but her heart started pounding. The beat of it only increased when he kissed her neck. Her face flushed and she made a sound that could only be described as a purr before turning over so that her bare chest was on his. "You were right, I think we could have lots of fun." While most of her encounters were more along the lines of business deals, she decided that perhaps a friend with benefits wouldn't be so bad.
"Oh ew. I don't like the sound of that."
"Everything is hard. So why deal with it, when you can just...not? I don't get it. I tried dealing with things, but all it does is hurt?"
"I love you...that's why." He said before taking her by surprise and meeting his lips with hers; it was a very smooth, honest and passionate kiss. He smiled. "Plus I'm a strong believer in the idea that you can't accept defeat if you have not even given up a good fight."
"I think you care too much about me sometimes. I could die. When I get check ups they say all these things about my weight and how I should be hospitalized, but I never care. So why should you?"
Beck sighed and rolled his eyes at her. "Now I'm just repeating myself. It's cause I love you...and..." He paused, pressing his lips together. "You don't love yourself." He told her, voice dark and monotone. "I don't think you realise how sick you are Elisa and how serious this is. I was kind of hoping this would end up as some kind of book cliche were you found something to live for, like me or some kind of life dream, but we all know its not really like that. Recovery is slow and hard...but I believe you are starting to fix yourself. Only you can do it."
"I wouldn't think too much about it. She doesn't get very attached. Commitment phobia or something. She had an ex that was pretty awful, decided not to get to close to boys or girls in a romantic sense after that."
"I see. Fair enough." He told her before nuzzling his face down into the bed sheets. A sudden realisation popped into his head about what she had said. "So is she bi or like are you just saying she's seriously not bothered about anyone anymore?" He asked, filled with curiosity. The phrase "boys or girls" just seemed so out of the norm to Beck
"Please don't be mean to, Bex. I promise she can be a sweetheart. She's defensive over me. Like Leon is about you."
He huffed rather heavily. "Maybe you should tell her to be less snappy then it would be a bit easier to keep my temper. It's not just me you know." But of course once she compared their relationship to his and Leon, he snapped his jaw shut.
"Do you want to get some sleep? You need to rest."
~~~

"Looking at you, I'd never guess you were the stuttering type, but that's twice now and it's absolutely adorable."

"I'm not actually the stuttering type..." Leon told her, trying to conceal the slightest of colour change in his cheeks. "It's just you, you get me all flustered I guess." He said, trying to laugh it off with a soft chuckle. It felt like he was saying and doing all the wrong things at this point after a casual fuck.

"And what? You couldn't tell I was enjoying it? It was more than alright."

The brunette grinned to himself, clearly very pleased and holding a lot of pride. "I aim to please. It's no fun if its just me benefiting from it. Plus seeing the faces you make just makes my day." He purred, pulling her more into his warm chest before resting his chin on the top of her head. This felt almost as good as the actual sex.

"You were right, I think we could have lots of fun."

"Oh really you are wanting more from me?" Leon asked. "I like that idea. A lot. Whenever you want Bex." He said with a voice like silk and a smile.

"So is she bi or like are you just saying she's seriously not bothered about anyone anymore?"
"Do you want to get some sleep? You need to rest."

"I guess, but she's never outright said it. She just sort of goes with what feels right "in the moment", you know?" Elisa said, her eyes feeling heavy as she began to drift off. There was no way she would last another ten minutes with how tired she was and she didn't. She fell fast asleep, snuggled into beck the entire time.

Elisa had had a lot of hangovers in her life, but this one took the cake. She had a migraine from hell and felt like she hadn't slept in a week. All she wanted in life was a massive burger, but she wouldn't allow herself that. She groaned and rubbed the sleep from her eyes, her eyeliner smearing more than it already had from the night before. Beck was still asleep and she wasn't sure whether or not she should wake him up and after further consideration, she decided to leave a post it on his forehead saying she had gone downstairs. If only because it made her giggle a bit.

Life was barely beginning in the Grace household, with Jess cramming pancake after pancake in her mouth and Allison telling her to slow down at the dining table. The house smelled amazing, like syrup and cinnamon, and she could hear sizzling coming from the kitchen as well as some idle chit chat from Alan and what she assumed was Bex.

"And THAT's why you should never try to catch a pigeon." Bex told Alan and she had the man laughing pretty profusely.

"Do I even wanna know?" Elisa chimed in, making her presence known.

"Probably not, but it was a really great story."

"Where's Leon?"

"Sleeping, I'd assume, unless he took off through the window sometime after I came to get food."

"Did you...?"

"Absolutely and it was fantastic." Bex admitted with a fierce grin.

"You disgust me."

"As only best friends should."

Elisa snickered at that and Alan cleared his throat. "You know, I should tell your parents about this sleepover you've had. Bex told me all about it. Drinking but won't eat my food. Tsk." The older man chastised with a shake of his head. Elisa nearly had a heart attack and glared directly at her friend who shrugged. "But I won't, because I never much cared for your parents and I think it was good of you to not let them drive home after drinking. I had an aunt who was killed by a drunk driver. Nasty affair. I'm glad you're not so careless. Anyway, I've made cinnamon rolls and pancakes for you and your friends."

After that the skinny brunette breathed a sigh of relief and took a seat at the bar. "I'm not too hungry right now. Maybe an apple?" Elisa asked with a sheepish grin. Alan muttered something about her only ever eating apples, but got her one anyway. She had only nibbled at it by the time Jess ran up to sit on her lap, though she brought a coloring book with her and that meant she had a little time before the toddler decided to go full chatterbox.

Beck always woke up very slowly in a morning. It took him a good half and hour or so to actually force himself out of bed and to open his eyes enough to decently see. It was certainly amusing to watch. He wriggled about the bed like something inhuman before finding himself sat in a heap on the floor at the foot of the bed. It was only then when he realised Elisa had left a message on his forehead and so proceeded to remove it and then take a good five minutes more to read it. The beast lumbered downstairs and headed towards the kitchen, his stomach constantly purring with hunger.

"Did you...?"

"Absolutely and it was fantastic."

"You disgust me."

"Ew ew ew ew ew ew..." Beck spat childishly, a kind of grumpy expression on his face due to tiredness but he looked anything but threatening with tousled hair and oversized t shit and bottoms. The blonde took a seat at the table glaring at Bex still frowning and growling. "You stay away from my Leon. You're NOT allowed near him!" Declared the man while slamming his fist on the surface top, speaking as though Leon was either his child or his partner. He decided to try and be quiet for Elisa's sake, but now and again mumbled some insults around the lines of 'whore' under his breath.

".. Anyway, I've made cinnamon rolls and pancakes for you and your friends."

"Good morning Allaaaaaan!" He cried with joy in a sing song tune, now waking up sharply at the idea of pancakes. It was clear that Beck had always seriously appreciated Alan and his cooking, not to mention they often conversed about Elisa's eating habits and how to try and slowly encourage improvement. "Pancakes pretty please." He told him, stomach still snarling at the idea of food.

"I'm not too hungry right now. Maybe an apple?"

He then paused and turned to his girlfriend, noting the fact once again she was just picking at a apple. " Erm...how about a ham salad sandwich to wrap up for her to eat when she feels a bit more hungry? How does that sound Elisa?" He asked, but it came across as more as a plea than anything else really. He leant over and silently gave her a peck on the cheek followed by a grin. Baby steps were small, but it was taking a step forward.

Jess quickly leapt onto the brunettes lap, colouring book and pens now sprawled across the table. "Rise and shine Sparrow." He greeted the young girl with a soft smile. "What are you drawing this morning eh?"

"Ew ew ew ew ew ew..."
"You stay away from my Leon. You're NOT allowed near him!"

It was already morning, she wasn't feeling well, and now Beck was throwing a whiny tantrum. She rolled her eyes and shot him a look. Couldn't all of them at least try to be civil this morning? She looked over at Rebecca, who was just wickedly grinning at Beck and when the world 'whore' was muttered that grin only deepened. "You say that like it's an insult, darling. Woe is me, I get laid." The girl opposite Elisa laid a hand on her forehead in a dramatic show of pity. "Let me tell you, he thoroughly enjoyed it." She tacked on at the end with a wink.

Elisa shook her head. Suddenly her morning was turning into a much louder, and much more vulgar, one than she expected. "Children, all of you." She playfully scolded with a tsk tsk sound.

"Good morning Allaaaaaan!"
"Pancakes pretty please."

The older gentleman smiled with a growing fondness for Beck. He ate his food and seemed to care about his employer's daughter's well being far more than even they did. He flipped a few pancakes and tossed them on a plate , gold and brown with a dash of cinnamon and syrup, and homemade butter on top. He passed the plate to Beck and then another to Bex. He enjoyed Bex's company as well, though he couldn't exactly agree with how crass she was on occasion.

Rebecca almost immediately inhaled them and went in for seconds.

"Erm...how about a ham salad sandwich to wrap up for her to eat when she feels a bit more hungry? How does that sound Elisa?"

Elisa frowned immediately and shook her head. "I'll be fine. Pick up something later." She said quietly and at that even a look of worry spread of Bex's face. After the night Elisa knew she had had last night, she didn't want to pack in more calories than what she had already with the alcohol. The apple would be enough, more than enough and if she tried really hard she could make it last all day.

Alan sighed and looked at the three kids in front of him. "I'll whip something up later for all of you. There'll be enough for all of you to have thirds if you'd like." He stated, as that was the only compromise he could give them. His heart sunk, knowing that one day he would have to call 911 on that girl again and it'd probably be the end. His thoughts were interrupted by Jessie's squealing at her realization that Beck was there.

"This is a dragon princess and a duck." The red headed toddler said happily, holding up a picture of some vaguely humanoid and beast like shapes...As best as a toddler could do, really. She launched into some rambling story about the picture, some of it barely making any sense but she was clearly very excited about it.

Elisa watched from her seat and grinned, happily watching Beck's and Jess's interaction as if there was nothing better in the world.

"You say that like it's an insult, darling. Woe is me, I get laid."

Beck snarled, though it was not quite fully spiteful. He was more sulking like a child than being legitimately threatening. Gob smacked he began waving his hands at Elisa in response to Bex's outbursts, eyes as wide as golf balls. "Yeah? What you trying to prove?! I get laid too! I get laid!!" He declared pointing fingers at Elisa as though this was the most important and appropriate time to secure his masculinity.

"Let me tell you, he thoroughly enjoyed it."

He began to laugh lightly, a devilish grin on his face. "Oh yeah? Well Millie's going to kill you if you have took her fuck buddie. She will go absolutely mental." Beck explained to her, which was somewhat the truth.

"We all know Millie isn't interested in me. I was just a replacement after you left her." Leon entered the room, same blank expression and very well dressed for early mornings. He had clearly taken a shower and tidied himself up before leaving the bedroom to see other people. He was kind of odd like that. It almost gave him the sense of not actually being a real human being. Clearly he wasn't too impressed with all the talk of him and Bex's night.

Beck didn't like Millie being brought up in that context either. He bit his lip and lowered his voice and tone to something darker. "Yeah well its not like I left her. We weren't dating. It was jus-"

"We weren't like you and her were. She's psycho about you. Like proper psy-"

"Yeah well good for her. I'm with Elisa. Shut up" Beck demanded, now clearly upset. It was very rare he spoke to Leon in that manner but he could not help feeling like Leon was trying to degrade him for it and also felt like there was a hint of jealousy coming through about their attachment. To add to that he was talking about this in front of his girlfriend who's self esteem was already low enough. He then began to eat his pancakes in silence. As much as the conversation and mood was foul. The food was sure good.

"I'll be fine. Pick up something later."
"I'll whip something up later for all of you. There'll be enough for all of you to have thirds if you'd like."

The blonde sighed heavily. The morning was already looking grim but if he pushed anymore he would come across as crazily controlling and obsessive, but you had to be in that situation. "Thank you Alan." Beck praised before reaching over to give Elisa's hand a loving squeeze.

Leon took a seat next to Bex and waited patiently to be passed some breakfast. He would eat anything and did not particularly care about how good it was. It was all just energy and nutrients to him; in fact he could not think of anything he disliked enough to not consume it. "Good morning." He said with a honest smile, but still obviously felt kind of awkward about the nights events.

"This is a dragon princess and a duck."

"Oh oh yeah I see! I see what you mean! Wow that's very good! What is their names Jess?" Beck asked very enthusiastic almost to the point where it seemed like he was not even just pretending to be interested. "How about the princess and her companion have to battle this giant ginger cat! Look how nasty it is!" He told her before quickly sketching this supposed horrible giant cat. Even though it took him barely 30 seconds to draw out this feline, it was very impressive and clear that his art skills were still incredible even since he had began to stop his hobby. Drawing just remembered him of his dad. He really needed to check on him soon...

"We all know Millie isn't interested in me. I was just a replacement after you left her."

A wicked grin spread across Rebecca's face. "I don't know, I'd call that an upgrade." She said, throwing Leon a wink. There wasn't a single hint of jealousy in her tone, though she was slightly curious as to who this Millie girl was. Judging by Elisa's face, it was no one they'd make friends with any time soon...or ever, as her friend's face only grew more and more displeased as the boy's conversation carried on. Apparently, Elisa's circle was much larger than she originally thought and that made her more curious than her new fuck buddy's former - possibly still current - flame.

"Yeah well good for her. I'm with Elisa. Shut up"

At this point Elisa was red in the face and clearly embarrassed and uncomfortable with the conversation. She slid both her hands down her face in frustration and shook it simultaneously, the top knot on her head swaying in each direction. "Just the way I like to start my mornings. Sex talk with a side of ex girlfriend chat." Her head was on fire and she sipped at a glass of water Alan had just placed in front of her. She looked like Hell, with bags under her eyes and no intention of ever leaving her pajamas. Even Bex, who had done nothing but throw on jean shorts under a t-shirt that was three sizes too large, was looking more lively.

When the conversation had turned back to food, she only grew more uncomfortable and placed her forehead against the cool marble of the counter top. While the contact from Beck's hand was reassuring, it also sent a wave of guilt through her core. She wanted him to be happy and clearly her desire to eat very little to nothing at all, was doing the opposite...but she couldn't bring herself to change and told herself that Beck simply didn't understand why restricting herself was necessary. She couldn't just binge, that would make her weak. Far weaker than she already viewed herself as and her mother would notice and she'd disappoint that woman again. For so long she told herself that if she didn't eat, she and everyone else could be happy, but now that Beck had noticed it was shattering her ideology and all she could think to do was convince him that she was okay. After last night she was sure that that would never be possible.

He wanted her to get better, she knew that, but she also knew that that would likely require a stay at a rehabilitation center and she was no about to do that. Not until a couple men in white coats forced it on her.

"Good morning."

"Good morning. Look at you, all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Freak." Bex teased, taking note of his cleaned up appearance. She tossed a plate of pancakes his way, as well as adding more to her own stack. She had always been a bottomless pit for food and because of it, she was thankful for her sky high metabolism. Without it, she'd be obese.

"How about the princess and her companion have to battle this giant ginger cat! Look how nasty it is!"

Jess had begun giggling quite loudly and clapping her hands by the time the cat was drawn, a huge smile spread over her face. She was an adorable, if not slightly loud, red headed ball of sunshine. "You draw good!" Scribbling some more illegible doodles on the paper with multiple colors. "I want to draw good like Beck." She announced to pretty much everyone in the kitchen, with her crayons still in hand.

Elisa smiled. "Look at how beautiful your drawings are now! I'd say you're almost there, Jessie." She cooed, sounding far more like a mother than a big sister.

Jessa smiled triumphantly, before sitting back down on Beck's lap as she had stood up on it moments before to make her little announcement.

(This post is so bad I don't know what to follow up with at all. :c

Hey I'm wondering where we could lead the plot to after this. Something gang related with Malachai? Or Bex finding out about the gang? Or Elisa's parents have a run in with Beck? Or anything? Lets think up some ideas~)

"I don't know, I'd call that an upgrade."

Leon grinned at her response but it was somewhat forced. Even though he kept telling himself he was not interested in Millie he always found himself trying to please her and often became jealous about her obsession with Beck. He was fond of the red haired female and was tired of her acting coldly towards him due to her keeping the 'relationship' very simple. Of course he could not expect any more, and it was likely to be the same with Bex. Maybe he just did not come across as the boyfriend type.

"Just the way I like to start my mornings. Sex talk with a side of ex girlfriend chat."

"Sorry Elisa. Not me that brought up the conversation." Beck told her in a dull tone while giving Leon a hard glare. He then turned to his girlfriend and gave her a reassuring kiss on the cheek. hoping that was the end of that topic.

"Good morning. Look at you, all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Freak."

The brunette instantly began to dig into his breakfast. He ate politely and seemed to have the manners of someone who did not quite match his persona. "I just like to get up and get ready. Why waste the day?...and it was either these or just my boxers though I'm sure it would only be Elisa and the chef to complain if that happened." Leon chucked to himself which caused Beck to roll his blue eyes and tut, quickly forgiving his friend after a quick joke.

"You draw good!"
"I want to draw good like Beck."
"Look at how beautiful your drawings are now! I'd say you're almost there, Jessie."

"Why thank you little sparrow. I love your drawings too! I'll keep teaching you like my Dad used to teach m...me, he likes to draw as well." Beck told her, realising half way through the sentence that it sounded as though he was declaring that he would take on a fatherly role with Jess by following his own Dads ways. At that point he seemed to almost choke on air. Awkwardly the blonde pushed his fingers through his hair like he always did when nervous before pulling Jess off his lap and gently placing her onto the chair. He then proceeded to collect up the places and stack them on the side by Alan, just to give him something to do rather than sit there feeling awful.

The fun was ruined when the front door opened and in walked a woman, approximately in her forties, with short blonde hair, slim, and a few inches shorter than Elisa though they shared the same eyes and bone structure. Though where Elisa's features were often soft, this woman's were sharp and everything about her seemed cold as ice. Diana Grace looked every bit as mean and awful as both Elisa and Bex had described her, with the added bonus that - despite her short stature, she seemingly looked down her nose at everyone in the room.

"Elisa, it's a little early for guests, isn't it?" Her words were clipped and short. Both Bex and Elisa were tensed, even little Jess's demeanor changed and she had put down her crayons, looking down at the colored pages before her.

"They just...They had no where else to go last night," Elisa tried to explain, her voice strained.

"And why would that be?" The woman's lips formed into a tight line, looking every bit as disgusted as Elisa was terrified.

Elisa wracked her brain for an explanation that just wouldn't come, there was nothing she could say that wouldn't get her in immense amounts of trouble. "I...they...I'm sorry, mom."

The woman glanced from Leon to Beck, looking them up and down, judging them and disgusted by what her daughter had brought into her house. Tattoos, long hair, it was like she had brought home another Malachai. Diana would never understand where her daughter had developed a taste for such low lifes. She had been raising such a disappointment.

"They just needed a place to stay for the night they were supposed to be gone befo-" Elisa tried to speak but was almost instantly cut off.

"Before I got home to my house and discovered my daughter with two less than savory men at my breakfast bar? And honestly, Rebecca, I'm sure your father will be very upset about this." Diana's gaze turned to Elisa's friend with a harsh glare, Bex's eyes turning from a blank stare to something that looked slightly like fear - though her face didn't change.

"Well who are they then, Elisa? Don't tell me I'm going to get anymore special announcements." The blonde shot a glare at the red headed kid, though it was only for a brief moment. Elisa stared at her mother in disbelief.

"No- What!? Jesus. It's just Leon and Beck. Kids from school. Friends. I'm allowed to have those, aren't I?" Elisa immediately regretted letting the slight attitude in her voice seep out. Her mother's usually icy face turned into something like disgusted rage.

"If this is what you choose to befriend, then no. Are you trying to ruin my life Elisa? Your father's? The Grace Family has a reputation to uphold and you're constantly trying to ruin it with your 'friends' and antics, you ungrateful little thing. If one of your father's associates saw you hanging around with these people, do you think they'd want to do business? They look like they belong in a gang." If the situation wasn't so tense, Elisa might have laughed at the irony, though she doubted her mother would be as amused.

"Can you not insult them? They're right fucking there and you don't even know them." The longer the conversation continued the more defensive Elisa was growing and she knew that there was no way this was going to end well.

"No but I know you and honestly, Elisa. This rebelling phase of yours has gone on long enough," Diana snapped.

"Rebelling phase? Are you kidding me?"

"What would I be 'kidding you' about, Elisa? The constant trips to the hospital over your attention getting stunts, the low life's you just can't seem to stop whoring around with, the drug use, refusing to get rid of a mistake and making your father and I take care of it for you."

Jess. Her mother had taken target at Jess in that sentence. Elisa lost it. "Get rid of a mistake? A fucking mistake. How about we stop calling her that every time we argue."

"I think you're friends should leave before we continue that conversation-" This time Diana was cut off.

"Why? So you're not embarrassed? You think they're scum anyway, why does their opinion matter? Because it could get out into the public? I can scream it out right here. You want me to rebel why don't I just start by telling everyone in this god damn room that I have a fucking daught-" Elisa didn't even really see it coming when her mother slapped her and it wasn't a particularly small slap either and echoed throughout the kitchen, leaving a red hand print on her face.

"I said it once and I'll say it again. It's time for your friends to go," Diana growled, glaring at Elisa.

Beck felt sick to his stomach the moment this woman walked in the room. He had been expecting to run into her at somepoint but was not sure of when it would occur and to be honest he never imagined the situation would play out this badly. He never imagined that such a stone cold woman could exist. The blonde froze in his chair and suddenly looked very small. Send someone running at him with a knife

"Before I got home to my house and discovered my daughter with two less than savory men at my breakfast bar? And honestly, Rebecca, I'm sure your father will be very upset about this."

Beck slammed his hands upon the table and pushed himself out of his seat, glaring directly at the woman with his mouth gaping. He could not believe what he had just heard leave her mouth. He was so angry he was shaking but could not bring himself to move or speak up.

"Well who are they then, Elisa? Don't tell me I'm going to get anymore special announcements."

"Oh my god..." He murmured, now actually physically upset as well as angry. How could she talk like this? In front of everyone? To her own daughter. It actually made tears prickle in his blue iced eyes. He looked over to Elisa, expecting her to break at any second and he wanted nothing more than to scoop her up and rush her out of the door. He could not let his girlfriend live with this bitch.

"No- What!? Jesus. It's just Leon and Beck. Kids from school. Friends. I'm allowed to have those, aren't I?"
"If this is what you choose to befriend, then no. Are you trying to ruin my life Elisa? Your father's? Beck fell back into his seat as she said the last phrase, his heart thudding so hard in his chest he was wondering if this was the beginning of a panic attack. "We haven't done anything wrong..." He said, sounding very innocent and kind of like a young afraid child. "We haven't done anything and you still make plain nasty judgements. I..I'm sure that we aren't the issue here..." He stammered, voice monotone as he was trying his best not to spit out his mind.

"No but I know you and honestly, Elisa. This rebelling phase of yours has gone on long enough,"

"You literally came home to have your daughter sat eating breakfast with friends...any normal mother would be so pleased to see that but of course you-"

Leon cut Beck short, rising out of his chair and standing like a giant, broad shoulders and poker faced. "Excuse me Mam but I do believe that the correct phase here I could use to counter you with is to not judge a book by it's cover and you are being socially disrespectful and its a pleasant trait. Your daughter is old enough to decide who she wants to be acquaintance with and if you choose your job and lifestyle over her personal happiness I think you should rethink her life choices. If you are seriously that unhappy with her behaviour maybe you should seek to support her rather than scold her for simply finding some company. Children with out a good parent-child relationship may rebel so before you point fingers, maybe try and take a look at yourself as a family." He was oddly well spoken and it was the first time Leon had said something that contained more than a few words. He was trying to get on her level but doubted she was going to take in any of it.

"What would I be 'kidding you' about, Elisa? The constant trips to the hospital over your attention getting stunts, the low life's you just can't seem to stop whoring around with, the drug use, refusing to get rid of a mistake and making your father and I take care of it for you."

The whole room fell silent and so Leon's assumptions were confirmed, but in a way he didn't want it to be. He wondered if Jess knew what was happening and what they were saying, but maybe her tiny brain could not piece it together. Either way she shouldn't have been seeing this. Elisa shouldn't have experienced it.

Beck was shaking and now tears were visible in his eyes. Of course he dashed forwards and pulled Elisa into his arms, checking her red hot face and dragging her away from her attacker. "YOU BITCH! You slapped your own daughter! You're meant to love her! Can you not see you are the one that's killing her!? With her eating? With how fucking upset she is so she aches for any sense of happiness she can get!? YOU'RE KILLING HER!" The blonde completely lost it, yelling at the woman to the point where Leon had to grab him and pull him back.

"I said it once and I'll say it again. It's time for your friends to go,"

"We have no right to stay on your property but you have no right to keep Elisa here. You actually don't." Leon told her while heading towards the door. "You don't want to stay here do you?"

"YOU BITCH! You slapped your own daughter! You're meant to love her! Can you not see you are the one that's killing her!? With her eating? With how fucking upset she is so she aches for any sense of happiness she can get!? YOU'RE KILLING HER!"

"Young men, I suggest you stay in your place and keep your mouth out of matters that don't really concern you." Diana's glare focusing on the two of them. They were both simply pests in her eyes, no better or important than a mosquito. Her arms were crossed and her posture perfect, as though nothing out of the ordinary or wrong had occurred. "I have standards in my family, very high standards, and when they aren't meant I will deal with it in the way I see most fit, and that is absolutely none of your business. Now leave before I call the police." She sniped.

Jess had started crying, her face clearly confused and very upset. Elisa was still standing, stunned as a familiar sting spread across her face. Everything was starting to feel more and more chaotic and overwhelming as he seconds passed. Beck was screaming, Leon was holding him back. It was all a mess and it couldn't have been more than fifteen minutes before that they had all been chatting and having a decent enough time. She pulled away from Beck who had latched onto her and moved towards the little red head girl, who had now left tear stains on all of her drawings. "Was that scary, Sunshine? I'm so sorry." Elisa whispered, picking Jess up and holding on to her.

"Ma..Ma's...so mad again." The tiny girl's word's were broken up by sobs and sniffles.

"I know but it's not your fault, not at all." Elisa cooed, pressing her lips on top of Jess's head.

"We have no right to stay on your property but you have no right to keep Elisa here. You actually don't."
"You don't want to stay here do you?"

She wanted to leave and follow Beck, Leon and Bex out that door, but with the little girl she loved so much in her arms she knew that was an impossibility. She had to stay here, in her Hell, until she was at least eighteen and could take off with all the money she had been saving. Even if it was just for a few hours, with as upset as Jess was she couldn't just leave her behind to cry with her nanny while her grandma ignored her. No, this was her responsibility and the hole that she had dug for herself, that one day she would either claw her way out of or die trying. "I have too," Her voice broken.

Diana smirked, as though this was all so melodramatic and uncalled for.

Jess began to hiccup as she cried, her face buried in the space between Elisa's shoulder and neck. The poor thing was so confused by the events, not understanding why all the adults were yelling and hitting. She knew something was very wrong, but didn't know what or why. She also knew that Diana was very, very mean and always talked to Elisa like that - though she rarely spoke to Jess at all.

Bex had headed for the door, but not before brushing her hand over Elisa's shoulder in comfort. "You know you can always come stay with me, right?"

"Yeah I know, thanks Bex." Elisa said with a half hearted smile, before turning to Beck and Leon. "Sorry you had to see that."

"Of course it is our business! We care about her!" Beck spat, filled with emotion that was quickly bubbling out of him like lava from a eruption. It was messy. His face was red and his eyes puffy and wet. He was so sick of this women and it hurt him to know Elisa had been living with her torture her whole life. It was no wonder she was struggling mentally. "Clearly we care about her more than you!"

"Was that scary, Sunshine? I'm so sorry."
"Ma..Ma's...so mad again."
"I know but it's not your fault, not at all."

The blonde lowered his head. This house was so messed up. Jess had to spend her young life experiencing this trauma too and he knew that Elisa would always stay at her side no matter what leaving her no room to escape from this mess. Maybe it would be easier if the family just told the truth about Elisa having a daughter, but of course he could tell this woman would never have that.

"I have too,"

Of course. He was right, and he felt so pathetic for not being able to help her or Jess.

The sisterly pair comforted one and other in a way that reminded Beck and Leon of themselves. It was kind of odd really, seeing friendship from a different point of view. Even though he was not too fond of Bex's bitterness he was happy his girlfriend had someone who had always been there for her.

Leon guided Beck towards the door but all he did was keep his eyes locked upon his girlfriend. He needed to scoop her up and kiss her and hold her. Anything to make her feel that little bit less broken than before, but he didn't know if it was wise and was positive that Elisa wouldn't be happy if he did. So he just glared at her, looking lost and guilty for not doing something. He turned to Jess and put on his bravest and widest smile. "I'll cya later yeah Jess? You keep practising drawing so you can show me how much you have improved next time alright?" He told her before looking up to Elisa, his heart breaking.

"Sorry you had to see that."

"Sorry you have to live it." Beck told her, so tired of all the shit that he knew nothing he could say could lower her Mother's expectations of him any more. "Goodbye." Leon said simply, face grim before pulling on Beck's arm, knowing he would stay in the doorway forever if he could.

The weeks that had gone by had only served to make Malachai more and more bitter. The pain is his thigh that was now dulled, still remained and he walked with a slight limp - a constant reminder of how much he hated his rivals in every way. The thought of Beck was enough to send him into a blind rage and he had sincerely hoped the knife had dug deep enough to kill, or to seriously maim in some way. Though rumor had it that he was still around. In fact, only a few days ago he had heard about his former girlfriend getting dragged off from a party by Beck's second-in-command. Not that that surprised him in anyway, he had always known Elisa to be a bit of a party girl after they had gotten together.

He limped through the streets, strung out and head hung low, a permanent scowl on his features. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew that he was going to find Beck soon and when he did, he wanted him dead. No one would best Malachai, not in his lifetime. He had been humiliated the night of their meetup and his fellow gang members wouldn't let him forget it. A low growl escaped the back of his throat. He thought of all the ways he could torture him, prolong his pain. What could he do that would get to him the most? Grab someone from his gang and beat them to a pulp? Though he had done that enough in the past to know that that would have little to no effect. The only thing he seemed especially defensive of was Elisa.

And it was then that an idea struck him. Beck had seemed so protective and angry when Malachai had brought the girl up. He grinned. Of course that was it, how could he have not actually thought about this before? It would be so easy to find Elisa and snatch her up. What he would do to her though was really the question. Malachai wasn't a decent person and cared very little about anyone but himself, his anger, and what he considered fun.

He ran into the nearest convenience store and stole himself a can of spray paint.

It was time to taunt Beck and to come back from the dead.

"Little Birds Are Easy To Crush."

A reference to their conversation and a threat, red paint sprayed in a park in The Shard's territory.

Days and days had gone by without Elisa contacting or texting Beck. Part of her was embarrassed and part of her was too exhausted to even lift her phone. The school year was swiftly approaching, signaling the end of summer despite the still intense heat. Her mother had been pushing her father to send her back to a private school, like she had attended before Jess's arrival. They hadn't come to a decision, but she had a feeling it wasn't going to be the one she wanted. She tried to imagine her life, going to school and not being followed around by Beck, hiding out once more in a cafeteria as she tried to be as invisible as possible. She knew her life would only get worse if she had to switch schools and she wasn't sure she could handle that, or any more chaos in her life.

The clock on her wall chimed that it was noon and she had yet to get out of bed. She hadn't in days and while she knew it wasn't good for her, she didn't have the energy to get out. Her mother had been hovering around the house and Elisa prayed that she'd get called out on another business trip soon. The energy in the house was far to tense and angry for either of them to last much longer without another explosion. Her father had been home for a few days as well, as oblivious as ever to anyone's feelings and only listening to what Diane had to say about any situation that arose.

A knock on her bedroom door interrupted her thoughts.

"Elisa?" It was Allison, Jess's nanny.

"Come in." Elisa yawned, snuggling her pillow close.

"You ought to get out of bed.

"Too tired. Don't wanna."

"Your parents will be leaving again soon. Tokyo this time."

"Are they staying there forever?"

"Afraid not. Probably gone a week or so." Allison sighed.

"When are they leaving?"

"Tonight."

Elisa perked up at that, opening one eye to look at the much friendlier older woman that resided in her home. Unlike Diane, Allison was very warm and similar in ways to what one could only describe as a "weird aunt." She often brought back presents after she came back from vacation or small presents when she went shopping. She could be stern with Jess when the toddler was being spoiled, but it was all with a good heart.

"Thank GOD." Elisa groaned, feeling a load of weight fall off her shoulders. Though the troubled look on Allison's face told her things were about to get serious and the seventeen year old shrunk back into her bed sheets.

"I worry about you, Elle." Allison said with a sad smile. "You haven't come down for breakfast in a few days. Or any meal for that matter."

Elisa wanted to roll her eyes and kick the woman out, but she didn't have the heart to do so. "I'm fine, Allison. I go get snacks when I'm hungry. Don't worry."

"I'll always worry, you know that. If you don't eat, you'll just get weaker and weaker and eventually-" Allison stopped mid sentence, tears pooling in her eyes. "I'll always worry." She repeated. "Anyway, Jess is pretty angry that you haven't brought that boy around. She hasn't quit drawing since he left that morning."

"That's good...I think?" Elisa said with a small laugh. "I told her he's very busy last night, she should be okay for a while."

"Are you okay?" Allison said, that same sad stupid look on her face.

"As I'll ever be." She answered.

They continued to chat for a few minutes before Allison left to teach Jess more about the alphabet. Finally, Elisa picked up her phone and started a message to her boyfriend:

To: Beck<3
I love you. I miss you. I'm okay.

Beck, Leon and Millie were seated in the green of a back field. They used to hang out here as kids but as they grew up the place became less desirable to them, still they found themselves returning everyone in a while for the nostalgia. The girl and Leon drank from different cans and bottles, but the blonde had not touched drink...or done anything apart from stare into space, for the last few days.

"So who is this girl? Hm? So is our deal off? I don't get it!" Millie spat, her eyes narrowed with bitterness as she chugged from a bottle generously. "She is just one of Elisa's friends. She said she might like it again, but I don't think she meant it exclusively?" Leon replied, tutting a little at the girls displeasure. It seemed pretty childish in his eyes. It was like they were talking about this as though it was a business plan, rather than casual sex. Leon hated that more than anything. He wanted something a lot more intimate but highly doubted this would occur with Bex either. "Well I don't like to share and I don't think I'm all that interested in you if you are after girls like Elisa. I can't downgrade myself that much." The red head told him, seemingly forgetting that Beck was seated beside her. "Do you have to always be such a cow." He said, not even meeting her eyes. The trio fell silent and the conversation was dropped.

His phone bleeped and for the first time in days Beck smiled.

Elisa:
I love you. I miss you. I'm okay.
Beck:
Oh my god. Please don't ignore me like that. I love you too. Can we see each other soon? Or is that not a option at the moment?

"Lets go back to the flat. I'm tired of feeling like a 12 year old." Beck told them, suddenly seeming a fair bit cheerier. The group hopped a fence leading into a small park on the edge on their zone and began heading through it, creating a shortcut. Leon was the first to see it.

"Little Birds Are Easy To Crush."

"Beck do you think that is for us?"
"Uh?..."
"Oh my god."

Beck found a lump forming in his throat and instantly thought of Jess rather than Elisa. Of course she was the tiniest bird of them all but surely he did not know about his Daughter. Surely he would not be sick enough to harm his daughter even if he did. Then again the blonde could recall the threats about raping Millie right in front of them. "For fucks sake I was wondering if they were just going to drop this. Of course that's what I was hoping...Fuck...fuck. You don't think he is on about Jess? Or just Elisa?" Beck stammered, quickly losing it. His breathing was uneven and he to passively pull at his hair.

He took out his phone and quickly sent.

Maybe its not the best time to see each other, but if he knows where you live...
I don't know if you can stay there. I don't know what to do Elisa.

From: Elisa
If it's not one things it's another. :/ It's probably not even his. Just a kid trying to freak people out.
There's nothing you can do.

Mom leaves for Japan tonight. Jess starts preschool again tomorrow. I can go over later tonight, if that
makes you feel better?

The graffiti on the wall meant very little to Elisa, as she obviously hadn't been around when Malachai miraculously came back from the dead and encountered Beck. To her it was just another kid, likely from their school, trying to be edgy or creepy or bad ass. Though, if he was that worried about it, she assumed the words - which were random to her - meant something to him. Was it supposed to be a threat? Then who was the "Little Bird" Malachai was supposedly threatening? It all made her very confused in ways she didn't want to think about.

Plus, she still wasn't entirely convinced it was Malachai. Perhaps it was someone they knew back then, posing as him? All of it was so far fetched and she felt like she was living in a soap opera. She was convinced her life would make for popular daytime television. After all, who gets knocked up at fourteen with a dead baby daddy that makes a new appearance years later. That was some serious Days of Our Lives shit. She sighed, staring at her phone as she waited for Beck's reply.

Her life was getting way to convoluted and stressful than she ever wanted it to be. Sometimes she cursed herself for not being able to kill herself properly, as though life would be much easier for everyone if she was dead. She balanced the phone on her forehead, nearly falling asleep when Allison reentered her room.

"Alan's off for the rest of the day. I've got to go grocery shopping for all the ridiculous thing on his list, so you'll be alone with Jess. Is that okay with you?" Allison asked with a smile.

"Ab-so-lute-ly." Elisa answered with a sing songy tone. Jess hopped into the room just as Allison was closing the door behind her. "What are you today, a rabbit?"

"Yes! Just like Ruby and Max." Jess said with a wide toothed grin. Elisa finally pulled herself out of bed and the girls played for a while; dolls, tag, dress up and all sorts of things. She knew that Allison would likely be gone for hours and she couldn't just lay in bed with an energetic toddler bouncing around like a rabbit. The time passed by quickly, and went she heard a knock on the door she assumed it was the nanny returning from her shopping trip.

"Just a second Alli!" Elisa said, running down the stares and throwing her long brown hair into a pony tail. She opened the door wide, expecting the woman to be standing their with sacks full of food...

What she didn't expect was a red head with spiky hair and brown eyes, so similar to Jess's, to be standing there. Malachai grinned. Her heart dropped to her knees. "Hello, Liz. Long time no see?"

Elisa couldn't say anything, she stood completely frozen in the doorway. Dead, he was supposed to be dead. "H-how..."

"Ran into your boyfriend the other day. Gave me a nasty scar. Always had a taste for the bad boys haven't ya?" He was still grinning like a fox and so completely unlike what he had been when they were fourteen. In appearance he was so completely the same and so different at the same time.

Elisa thought she would have been frozen in the same spot forever, had she not heard the voice of a tiny red headed girl. "Oh, Lissy! Your friend has hair like mine." She said, with a smile of youthful innocence on her face.

It was then that Malachai did a double take. Red hair, brown eyes, about as old as the time he left Elisa. It didn't take him much to put it all together and when he did, the shock was evident in his face. "Well isn't that interesting." He said to the little girl, his eyes narrowing in on her.

"Jessie, I'm going to need you to go upstairs and not come down until I say it's okay. Alright, baby?" Elisa commanded.

"But-" She opened her mouth to protest.

"Don't argue. Not this time. Upstairs." Elisa stated firmly, something she very rarely did with Jess. The girls eyes widened and she ran up the stairs as fast as her little legs would carry her. The entire time she had her back turned to Malachai and had been instructing Jess to leave, she had also been dialing Beck's number - and left the line open in her pocket and case he answered.

"I didn't want to believe them." Elisa began in a shaking voice.

"So you wished I was dead?" Malachai rolled his eyes at her.

"That's what I was told."

"Always listening to mommy and daddy, your fatal flaw...But less about me. Isn't it a bit curious that no one in your family has red hair except that little girl? I didn't hear her call you mom though." His eyes had turned from lifeless to angry in a flash.

"I don't think any of that is your business." Elisa's heart was pounding in her chest so hard she thought it might pop right out.

"I think it's a lot of my business. How old is she three? And you were so sick right before your parents paid me off."

"Did you leave that message in the park?" She desperately tried to change the subject off of her daughter.

"So he did see it? Already? That was quick. I have good timing. I came here to send him another." Now Malachai was grinning, and it wasn't at all similar to the one fourteen year old Elisa had found comforting years ago. This one was dark, like a completely different person had possessed him. She took a step back from him as he pushed through the doorway.

"You need to leave." She glanced around, looking for anything she could use to defend herself.

"Oh I will," He moved so fast there was no way for Elisa to stop him. Before she knew it she was pressed up against the wall in her entry way, with a knife pressed against her neck. He dragged it slowly and stopped, leaving only a small cut on the side of her neck. That was when she heard Jess scream from the top of the stairs. Malachai laughed. "Tell him that's for the leg and I'll be going after him soon enough."

He turned his attention to the girl at the top of the stairs. "I'll see you soon, too. After all, I am your dad." With that he left the house and Elisa ran up to Jess, who was crying and very, very confused.

Hey please reply? xx
Elisa.

"She's not replying..." Beck began to pace the grass backwards and forwards time and time again, clutching the phone in his hand. He had a lump growing in his throat and every so often the boy would look over his shoulder in the direction that the message was left in to check if anyone was tailing him. "Why would she not reply. She knows we need a reply." He stammered, his heart pounding in his chest. "Beck calm down." Millie told him, rolling her eyes as an attempt at trying to hide her concern. The red head moved into his path so that he would halt the crazed pacing. "Her bitch of a mother has probably taken her phone off her or something. It seems like the most likely situation." Leon told him, but as time went on, the likeliness of that decreased.

The group sat in silence for a long time. A while after that they headed back to the flat, where conversation was still limited and Beck continued to show signs of great anxiety. Suddenly he outbursted. "It's so fucking obvious! He gave a warning and then he carried out the threat. I don't even understand why you guys are even contemplating why she isn't replying. We need to go. Now." The blonde stood up, but Millie instantly placed a hand on his shoulder and pushed him back onto the sofa. "Babe, you already mentioned that her Mom had not left yet. By the sounds of it you seriously got you're asses kicked when you bumped into her lost time. I'm sure Elisa would not appreciate the drama again either." She smiled softly. "Just be patient."

Millie then began to tease, adjusting her posture and putting on a serious serious expression. She then left the room and re-entered the room, gasping, and then began to harshly point at the two men. "Look at these two scallywags you are hanging about with Elisa! They look like something the cat dragged in! I forbid you to involve yourself with...murders!" The red head mimicked rather humorously. Beck actually managed to chuckle at her joking, but Leon did not see the funny side of it. In fact he seemed rather uncomfortable.

"I'm texting Bex. If she goes to check on her, its less likely for her Mother to breath fire on her."

Leon:
Hey could you do us a favour? Could you just visit Elisa for a second since we aren't welcome at her place? Please don't ask questions, just do this for me.

Leon:
Hey could you do us a favour? Could you just visit Elisa for a second since we aren't welcome at her place? Please don't ask questions, just do this for me.

Rebecca:
Lucky for you kids, I just wrapped up some lessons. You owe me. My place tonight? ;)

Rebecca didn't mind checking up on Elisa at all and had she not been asked, she probably would have at least called the girl to see if she was alright. Everything that had happened the last time they were all there had been intense and awkward, especially after Elisa had all but admitted to having a kid. The whole event had been on repeat for the last few days and she had felt ridiculously bad about leaving her there, but she wasn't sure what else she could do. She shuttered at the thought of having to face Diana again, who had already gotten her in loads of trouble with her dad - though he was nowhere near as awful as that cold woman.

Leon had caught her at a good time too, as she had just finished up with her music lessons that often consumed her too much to even glance at her phone. If she had one healthy escape, her violin was it, though it was not a skill she often shared with people. She through the instrument in its case and headed to her car, a cigarette hanging from her lips all the while. Something about his text was bothering her, it had seemed so urgent even though she replied with something light hearted and flirty. Her stomach turned as she drove into Elisa's neighborhood, taking note of some red head kid climbing over an ivy covered wall - though she paid it no mind thinking it was just some kid who wanted to see the fancy houses in the gated community.

When she pulled up to her friends house, the first thing she noticed was that the front door was open and that was entirely unusual. It wasn't like them to not have that thing dead bolted with an alarm set. She got out of her car and walked through the front door. The side table that usual bore some sort of flower and vase in the doorway was knocked over. "Elisa?" Rebecca called out, earning no response. She pulled out her phone.

Rebecca:
Something's wrong.

She texted out quickly and started running up the stairs.

---

Elisa wasn't sure what to do when she heard Bex come in through the door. She had been holding a sleeping Jess in a corner, the poor baby having cried herself into exhaustion. Elisa herself was in a state of shock, just rocking the baby back and forth, her neck still bleeding though she seemed not to notice at all. So Malachai really was alive and as crazy as Beck had said. He had seen Jess, the little red headed girl who couldn't possibly be her sister. Her brain was having trouble processing it all.

"Jesus fuck, Elisa. What happened?" She heard Bex exclaim.

"Jess's dad," Elisa answered.

"What do you mean her dad? What's going on? Oh my God you're bleeding." Bex frantically searched for something to wipe off all the blood that had amassed on her neck, wanting to see how deep the wound really went. She settled on some doily that had been left out as decoration.

Seeing her best friend's face full of worry and upset, knowing that Rebecca was usually so carefree, turned Elisa into a crying mess who proceeded to tell her friend everything - careful to leave out the part about Beck and Leon being in a gang, as that wasn't her story to tell. But she told her everything about Malachai and her parents and how they made her lie about Jessa being her sister. As Elisa cried, Bex held her not knowing what to say, but who would? Elisa didn't expect her to say anything. It was a shitty situation that she had let continue on for far too long.

"Look, E, go take a shower. I'll put Jess in bed. Leon and Beck should be on there way. I think we should call the poli-" Bex began to ramble but Elisa cut her off.

"No cops. I don't need that right now."

"But he literally cut you. Beck is gonna be furious."

"No. Cops."

"Okay..." Bex shook her head in resignation.

Elisa did however, take her advice and quickly rinsed off in the shower and changed her clothes. The cut on her neck looked like it would need stitches and she cursed under her breath. The shirt she had been wearing was stained down the front and made her sick to look at.

Why did this become my life? I should just end it. Dark thoughts crept into her mind as she stared into the mirror, noticing her skeletal frame and dead eyes. She tried to remember a time when she was happy, truly happy, and struggled to think of a time that was more than just a fleeting moment with Beck. When had she had prolonged happiness? Had she ever? All she could remember was pain and numbness. She couldn't deal with this much longer. She didn't want to. It was too much. She was too much trouble for Beck, too much trouble for her family...No one benefits from me being alive.

She turned and exited the bathroom, sliding down a wall and taking a seat on the floor, waiting for the commotion that Beck and Leon would likely bring. She put her head on her neck. More blood. Good, maybe it'll kill me.

Unlikely, but part of her still hoped. "Jesus, it's still bleeding?" Bex groaned, having found an actual rag somewhere and pressed it against neck. "I thought for sure all that was just from the initial wound. Damn it. I hope your boyfriend knows how to stitch because I am not about to MacGyver that shit."

Would I ever say no?

Of course Leon now had a big grin on his face that made Millie almost snarl under her breath. It was obvious what he had just read and she was not exactly jealous of it since she had absolutely 0 interest in Leon, but still she did not like the idea of being put second. First she came second due to Elisa, taking Beck completely out of hands, and now this. Part of her felt unwanted, but the girl could never understand that you could have a none intimate friendship with men.

"Oh shit." Leon hissed before turning to phone to Beck. His faced dropped into something dismal and for a second the room seemed to stand completely still, before all of a sudden it fell into a manic rush. Millie slung a prepacked bag-pack of medical supplies over her shoulder while Leon grabbed the keys for his car. Before Beck reached for his coat he began raiding the drawers, pulling out a small handgun that he quickly shoved into his pocket. "Hey! Hey! I'm sure its not that type of situation.." Leon scolded him, but the blonde ignored him and headed for the car.

***

"Elisa! ELISA!" Beck stormed into the house with the pair close at his heels. His face was burning a bright crimson and his eyes were mad with fear. It was true about what they say when humans get scared; fight or flight was a legitimate thing and even though the youth appeared to be absolutely horrified, he stormed the house with the metal weapon clutches in his hand and his arm outstretched like a mad man. "GET AWAY." He yelled finding a body leant over Elisa, jumping to a misjudgement and readying his shot. It was only when Leon began basically screaming and shoving Beck out of aim, did he realise it was just Bex.

"Oh my god..." He stammered at the sight of her wound and also at the realisation that he had almost pumped his girlfriends best friend full of lead. Beck's palms began to shake as he outstretched to comfort Elisa, but was quickly declined the interaction by Millie who had quickly pushed passed him to see to the girls gash. Today her red hair was plaited one side and her eyes were boldly lined with black, as usual she wore a very low cut shirt and a flattering push up bra. "Alright then. So I'm going to first make sure the bleeding has just about stopped before disinfecting it, which is going to sting a fair bit. Then we can get you all stitched up alright? Could you go lay somewhere to make it easier for both of us?" Millie asked, oddly polite considering their differences, but she didn't fuck around when it came to things like this.

"I'm going to have to k..kill him aren't I? He is never going to leave us alone..." Beck began to sob lightly, choking on his own breath.

"Elisa! ELISA!"
"GET AWAY."

"Whoa whoa, what the fuck!?" Bex yelled jumping away from Elisa with her arms up. "I know you don't exactly like me, but damn. I think that's a little unnecessary." She honestly couldn't believe the boy had brought a gun and had pointed it at her. For all the trouble Rebecca got herself in, this was the first time anyone had ever pointed a gun in her face. In her lifetime she had gotten in more fights than she could count, mostly just to stir shit up and add some excitement in her life, but clearly these people weren't playing a game. How Elisa got mixed up in it, she had no idea and she wasn't sure she wanted to find out.

Bex looked over at Leon, a look of worry on her face that was quite uncommon for her. She straightened her clothes, having opted for a flannel over a band tee and ripped denim shorts and looking a little bit like she had walked right out of the nineties grunge scene. With one look at Millie, she had regretted her apparel. She had no idea she'd be competing with Mermaid McBoobs. She mentally slapped herself for thinking like that at a tension filled time like this one, but she honestly couldn't help herself.

"Alright then. So I'm going to first make sure the bleeding has just about stopped before disinfecting it, which is going to sting a fair bit. Then we can get you all stitched up alright? Could you go lay somewhere to make it easier for both of us?"

Elisa had been uncomfortably quiet during the whole affair with the gun. She hadn't known what to expect and honestly? She wouldn't care if a bullet accidentally left the chamber and made a new home in her skull. She looked Millie over with indifference. "Maybe I'll bleed out, you'd like that wouldn't you?" In the dead of her eyes something dark flickered through. She didn't look or sound like Elisa Grace anymore. She was just a shadow.

"Yooo, Elisa. I know you're kind of fucked up and I respect your depressing sentiment, but I think Jess has seen enough for one day? But I mean, if you're chill with that, I don't judge." Bex piped up with an uncomfortable laugh, putting a stray piece of hair behind her ear as she shifted from foot to foot.

At the mention of Jess, whatever trance Elisa had put herself in was broken...or maybe, just a little cracked. Either way, she let out a sigh and moved herself to her bed, where Millie would be able to stitch her up and make everything all better.

Every secret Elisa had seemed to be out on the open. It was obvious she had some kind of eating disorder, everyone that counted now knew she had kid and every well she had ever built was forcefully being ripped down. This wasn't the type of freedom she wanted and she felt like she had been stripped bare, before she was ready. Now with Malachai back in her life, for real now as she had seen him, it was that much worse. Nothing in her life was what she thought it was. The secrets she had guarded for so long were gone and now she was breaking herself down, numbing the fear that came with all the revelations.

"I'm going to have to k..kill him aren't I? He is never going to leave us alone..."

"He's pretty fixated on getting back at you for his leg. At least, that's what he said." Elisa said flatly, looking over at Beck. She knew he was upset and on the verge of a breakdown, she could hear it in his voice and see it in his face. She wanted him to be happy and for this to end. She kept praying for a happy day that, she knew now, would never come. She clenched her jaw as tears started for form in her eyes and a knot in her throat. Why couldn't they have one moment of peace? Just one. That's all she wanted, one moment where she could breathe.

"We could just leave. Skip town. Get out of here." Elisa choked out, finally some emotion leaking into her words.

At this point, Bex's jaw was slack and she was having a hard time keeping up with all the craziness that was being said. "You're all twisted, but before you sit around and wallow in said twistiness, I suggest we dip. Ice Queen or Nanny McPhee could be back at any minute."

"I know you don't exactly like me, but damn. I think that's a little unnecessary."

"He's just a little...unstable at the minute" Leon told her, while reaching to pull the gun from Beck's hands. For a second or two, the blonde boy refused too let go, but slowly unfolded his fist to allow his partner to take it. It was clear he was shaking. Leon quickly unloaded the weapon before tucking it into his pocket. Out of sight? Out of mind? "Hey...Are you alright?" He asked softly, putting a comforting hand on Bex's back. He stood maybe a little too close to her.

"Maybe I'll bleed out, you'd like that wouldn't you?"

Millie gritted her teeth, already finding this woman utterly exhausting. "Do you have to be so dramatic? Would I be here to sow you up if I did? No. I knew what the likely situation was. I could have just stayed at home, but I didn't." Her eyes narrowed darkly and she shot a glance over in Beck's direction. "Maybe you should be more appreciative of my work." She advised her, reminding Elisa of his now almost fully healed stomach wound. It was rather likely that the gang leaded would have died with out her help.

"Yooo, Elisa. I know you're kind of fucked up and I respect your depressing sentiment, but I think Jess has seen enough for one day? But I mean, if you're chill with that, I don't judge."

"Where is Jess! Is she alright? Oh my god what happened. Did he hurt her? Does he even know about her?" Beck's heart began to race as he dashed along the hallway, dipping his head in and out of each room in search for the small girl. "Elisa...what happened?" He said turning back towards his girlfriend before Millie stopped her filling him in. "She can talk when she doesn't have blood gushing from her throat okay?" She demanded, kneeling beside the bed and starting to work on her neck. Beck held her hand as the redhead began to fix her up, but he still had to turn away.

"You're all twisted, but before you sit around and wallow in said twistiness, I suggest we dip. Ice Queen or Nanny McPhee could be back at any minute."

"I'm almost done....Just a little while longer." The crimson haired woman explained. "Who are you again? Elisa's friend?" The girl questioned, of course she knew who she was, but still was curious about her response regarding her relationship with Leon. Still Millie never took her eyes off Elisa's wound, and was clearly rather talented and focused on sewing, even for a gang nurse.

"Should we head back to the flats?" Leon suggested, earning a small nod from Millie. "Does Jess have someone to care for her?" Beck asked, concerned about the little redheads safety.

***

"I'm done." Annouced Millie, stepping back from the bed and allowing Elisa to get up. "Please don't do anything that might open it back up."

"We could just leave. Skip town. Get out of here."

"Elisa..." Beck sighed softly, and even though it appeared like he was seriously considering it, he followed up with, "I don't think I can just leave my g-" He paused, realising that Bex was unaware of the situation; he fixed his false start. "...everyone. Where would we get the money? What about Jess? What about my Dad? It's not that simple."

"Hey...Are you alright?"

"In the words of the 9th doctor, fantastic." Bex said with a cheesy smile, though she was obviously shaken by having a gun in her face. She tensed slightly when Leon touched her, still on edge and a little less cool than she usually was. For the most part, she acted like she didn't have a care in the world.

"You're a fucking nerd." Elisa chimed in, bloody but it had made her laugh. Though seeing that her friend was a little out of sorts, she gave her a look of sympathy.

"I may be a nerd, but I'm a damn cute one." Bex shrugged.

"Maybe you should be more appreciative of my work."

Elisa rolled her eyes hard. The only reason the girl had actually come down was to impress Beck and honestly, Elisa wished she hadn't, if for that reason alone. "Super glad you didn't let my boyfriend die and that you came to my rescue too." She growled, obviously sarcastic and not in the mood to go back and forth with this girl like she had every time she ran into her. There was no way they could be friends any time soon.

"I'm almost done....Just a little while longer."
"Who are you again? Elisa's friend?"

"Bex Taylor. Why, you interested?" The dark haired girl said with a flirty grin and a wink. She laughed when Elisa rolled her eyes. It was all in good fun and meant to tease. While she found Millie attractive, she could sense something there that meant she didn't want to get involved. She didn't often sleep with girls, she found them way too clingy and often got butt-hurt if she didn't text them back five minutes after they left her bed. She wasn't about that life and honestly, watching the red head stitch up her friend made her a little queasy. Stitches made her skin crawl and remembering the feeling of getting them made her all the more uncomfortable. Plus, she was pretty sure this is the girl that had slept with both Leon and Beck and that just screamed headache.

"Does Jess have someone to care for her?"
"I'm done."
"Please don't do anything that might open it back up."

"Only in your wildest dreams would I do that." Elisa retorted, getting off the bed and examining the cut in the mirror. She frowned, knowing that this meant she'd have to wear her hair down for a while and she hated wearing it down. In fact, she very rarely let it leave a pony tail, even when she slept. She thought she had too much to deal with, but didn't have the heart to cut it off either. She sighed and turned to face the others, exhaustion deep in her eyes.

"Jess's nanny will be here soon. I can meet up with you later, but she's pretty freaked out. I don't know what to do."

"I'm still kind of blown away you have a kid. You look too tiny for that shit." Bex told her, not thinking.

"Good genetics?" Elisa joked.

Bex snickered. "That's totally it." It was a pretty dark thing to joke about, but they were doing it none-the-less.

"...everyone. Where would we get the money? What about Jess? What about my Dad? It's not that simple."

"Nothing's that simple is it?" She frowned, staring out her bedroom window. She was pretty sure if things continued they way they were, she wouldn't be here much longer anyway. The thought comforted her, rather than scared her. If Elisa could choose to sleep forever, without dreams, without feeling, she would do it and she was pretty sure she was well on her way to reaching that goal. "Whatever. I'll meet you guys wherever you decide to go, once I figure out what I'm doing with Jess for the night."

She could feel tears stinging her eyes and with that, she turned and grabbed Beck, holding on to him with all she had. "I love you." She whispered.

"In the words of the 9th doctor, fantastic."

"You're a fucking nerd."

"I may be a nerd, but I'm a damn cute one."

Leon chuckled a little, nodding in agreement. "I didn't know you were nerdy...You don't really seem the sort at first glance." He told her, voice light and calm as though trying to sooth the situation. "9th doctor? I don't get it? Who's this doct-"

"It's a British thing. TV show called Doctor Who that is quite popular among us tea lickers. What are you doing watching Doctor Who Bex? You're too american for that and you are also beginning to sound like that type of kid that I'd push into the lockers at school." Beck scowled, before also bursting out a laugh. "After all everyone knows Tennant did the best job as being the doctor. It's not even bloody questionable!" Spat the blonde, now wiggling a finger in the girls face and tutting in an annoying manner.

"Fucking hell Beck it sounds like you want shipping back over seas and you can take Bex with you so she doesn't have to watch her nerdy shows on couch tuner." Leon rolled his eyes, but of course it was clear he would miss the pair a considerable amount if they left the country.

~~~
"Bex Taylor. Why, you interested?"
Millie examined the girl before replying with judging pupils before speaking. "Don't flatter yourself." She joked coldly, but it was not said with the same amount of hatred that the red head would have usually directed at Elisa. She was straight as far as she knew of course but that never meant ruling out the idea of bedding with a woman, especially in a threesome with another male. The girl decided to be very blunt about her next question, knowing it was not necessary to mess around with the topic, after all there were no juicy emotions attached. "So are you seeing Leon? Am I not aloud him anymore? Just answer me." The woman questioned before Leon piped up, fuming. "It's nice of you to not act as though I'm in the room." He hissed darkly.
"I'm still kind of blown away you have a kid. You look too tiny for that shit."
"Being honest I'm surprised she didn't tell you. The pair of you seem close." Beck told her while sweeping his arm around Elisa's waist and pulling her close into his warmth. "I think you make a good Mother, its just a shame you are restricted so much." He told her very honestly in a kind of serious but cooling tone that didn't quite suit Beck's usual manic personality, but still it was pleasant. "I'm sure you will find a way to calm her. She won't understand everything but I'm sure when she's older you could explain it to her?"
"I love you."
And then they kissed and it felt wonderful. Then he quickly began to feel dreadful. Guilty. Sorry. He had dragged Elisa into a worse place. Failed to keep her safe. Ruined her stability. All he could do was be sorry.
They really did need to get away from it all...before it killed them.
"Alright. We will head back to the flats...I'm sure we can sort something out. I promise we will." Beck told her, now with a simple smile on his face as ideas began to spin in his mind. Of course the solution he was thinking of was only temporary, but it would mean that they could be happy for at least a short while. "See you soon..."
"It's a British thing. TV show called Doctor Who that is quite popular among us tea lickers. What are you doing watching Doctor Who Bex? You're too american for that and you are also beginning to sound like that type of kid that I'd push into the lockers at school."
"'You're too american for that.'" Bex mimicked, using her own version of a british accent with her nose in the air. "You're in 'Murica now, English muffin. Wave those stars and stripes, and wear your cowboy hat with pride. Land of FREEDOM, which means I can watch BBC and enjoy British television. "
"Don't flatter yourself."
"I don't have to, I know I'm gorgeous." Rebecca teased.
"So are you seeing Leon? Am I not aloud him anymore? Just answer me."
A smirk spread across Rebecca's face, looking almost like a lion would at its prey. She draped her arms around Leon's shoulders, amusement dancing in her eyes. "Am I seeing Leon? Well that depends on your definition of "seeing." And you don't own him, if he doesn't want you then he doesn't want you. That's his choice, so why don't you ask him? Don't act like I own him either, as though I can give you permission to take him. He's a person and a man, capable of making decisions and thinking for himself. If he decides to sleep around with both of us, that's his call. Just like me deciding not to see anyone else at this time was mine."
That last part was true. Since sleeping with Leon...well, she hadn't really slept with anyone else. She wouldn't say she was monogamous and definitely wouldn't say she wanted a relationship with him, but she was having fun with just him and he was nice. She was enjoying feeling wanted and not used, she hadn't felt that way in a long time - if ever. "And if you don't like to share...That's honestly not my problem, Red."
-x-
After everyone shuffled out of the house, including Bex who said she'd meet up after she dropped some stuff at home, Elisa spent a few minutes to clean the place up from the run in. She was so overwhelmed and her thoughts were racing. Malachai was alive, that was a reality now and she couldn't deny it any longer. The thought made her stomach twist. He had seen their daughter and he had known the moment he saw her. The red hair was a dead give away, but what was worse than that was that he had dangled that information in Jessa's face. She was just a confused three year old kid, who couldn't possibly understand what he meant. Rage boiled within her. Beck had threatened to kill him, but Elisa was the one that wanted to pull the trigger.
Malachai was not the boy she remembered. He had filled out and grown taller, but he had looked strung out and wild. Her life had suddenly become a twisted game and more players kept joining the field.
She paced in the dark of her house, which suddenly felt loaded down with negative energy. She opened the door to her parents bedroom. It was huge, a small apartment in its own right, and she located the safe her father kept in the closet. It unlocked with any of the family members thumbprints, with the exception of Jess who was far too young, but her dad had set it up for her when she turned thirteen. They kept numerous documents in there, a fuck ton of emergency cash, and what Elisa had been searching for: a gun. It was small, and only supposed to be used in emergencies.
She turned it over and over in her hand, feeling the wait end memorizing it. She knew how to use it, another thing he dad had taught her. She could clean it, take it apart and put it back together. Her mind shuffled through memories of when he had taken her to a shooting range, aiming at targets and trying to hit the center of them. It had been terrifying and fun all at once, but only because she had rarely got to spend time with her dad.
The walk to the bathroom didn't even register and she felt like she was in a trance. The world around didn't exist. Everything felt broken but she couldn't cry, she couldn't scream and she was having trouble feeling what was reality and what were simply thoughts. Everything felt disconnected. It was like she was dreaming, with the world hazy and hard to make anything out.
She stared at her reflection and didn't recognize it and she could have sworn it sneered at her. "I can't do this," She whispered, staring into her own eyes, feeling like she was losing her mind. She put the gun to her head, a motion that was almost out of her control, but she stopped when she heard Jess wake up and start crying. She threw the gun in the waistband of her shorts, like police in TV shows, and went to get her baby.
"Hello, Sunshine." Elisa said with a smile, scooping up the toddler.
"Who was that man, Lissy?" Jess asked with tear stained cheeks.
"A very bad man and if you ever see him, you run, Jessie. You hear me? Run as fast and as far as you can." Elisa warned, pressing her lips against the red head's hairline and squeezing her tight.
"He said he was my daddy. Daddy's aren't mean."
"He's not your dad Jessie, but you won't understand that until you're big like me, okay?"
"Lissy, are you my mama?" The little girl looked so sad, just as broken and confused as Elisa did, and it broke Elisa's heart.
Tears started falling from the teenagers face, silent tears that turned into sobs - staining Jessa's shirt. "Y-yeah. Yeah I am, Jess. And I'm going to try so much harder to be a better one, okay? But we have to keep it a secret, from Allison and everyone. Just for now, until I can figure out how to get you out of here and some place better."
She expected the little girl to look confused or even cry, but she just smiled and wiped her hands on Elisa's face - trying to take away the tears that had fallen, with the biggest smile on her tiny face. "I knew it! You love me most and I love you most. I knew you were my mama."
And for the first time in what felt like years, Elisa really smiled. She heard the door open and the nanny walk in and she put Jess back to bed, with promises that she would back as soon as she could. She felt like the biggest weight in the world had been lifted off of her, and while there were so many more to remove, she finally felt like she was in control.
-x-
Elisa picked Rebecca up on her way to the flat, and looked the other girl up and down once she was in the car. "I'm sorry was an outfit change really necessary?"
"Did you see Mermaid McBoobs? I obviously have to show a little more cleavage than a t-shirt would allow." Bex said happily, adjusting the corset and leather jacket she had switched into.
"Why? I'm pretty sure Leon's fine, he already knows what's under there." Elisa teased.
"True, but I also like looking super cute. Anyways, you changed too and you look not as corpse like." Bex joked back, as only a best friend could.
"I had blood on my shirt and after looking like a bloodied corpse, I thought I'd let Beck see me not as gross."
"Good plan. It's not Halloween yet, can't go running around in bloody clothes."
Elisa rolled her eyes. "Anyways, we're here."
"Yikes, not the neighborhood I usually play in." Bex said, surveillance the area.
"Not everyone lives in a mansion."
"And here I was, thinking everyone had access to millions. Silly me. Race you." And with that Bex ran out of the car and Elisa chased after. When they reached the door, Elisa knocked, Rebecca just barged in.
"I hope none of you are naked. Unless you're cute, then I guess it's acceptable." Rebecca announced, leaving Elisa two seconds short of banging her head against the wall.
Leon felt uncomfortable; a knot forming in his throat. He always found women such a handful even when they were involved in the simplest of ways. Still, he loved the way Bex's warm body was pressed against him, even just at that moment in time, and he didn't want to piss either of them off so decided to give a neutral response. "I um...It depends really. Since this is just casual it doesn't matter. Don't stress out about it." He told them, trying to sound easy going when really the truth was that if either one decided to get more serious with him, he would choose them. His pathetic lonely persona was basically waiting for someone to love him but what with Millie's obsession for Beck and Bex's 'I don't do relationships' complex, it seemed unlikely for that to happen.
"Just like me deciding not to see anyone else at this time was mine."
Why?
Leon turned to Bex, giving her a puzzled look. He didn't understand why. He quickly put it down to be the fact that she hadn't had chase to bed with someone else rather than out of personal concious choice. Maybe he would talk to her about it later. Then again maybe he wouldn't. It seemed pushy.
Beck held a flourish of cards in one hand and a bottle of cider in the other. He was laughing as he placed down his cards and scooping the cash on the desk into his pocket. Sure it wasn't a lot, but it was probably more than what you should gamble on a game of cards. He was playing with about 6 men at the table, all rather rowdy but appeared to be friendly and having a lot of fun. Leon and Millie weren't anywhere to be seen. There were quite a few people in the room, but not to the point it was overcrowded. This small fraction of the gang mostly consisted of males but a few women chatted in the corner, seeming to generously hog the drink.
"I hope none of you are naked. Unless you're cute, then I guess it's acceptable."
"Oh. Heya...everyone here is cute. I...I didn't expect you right now." Beck said with a smile but a kind of nervous expression on his face. Rebecca didn't know about everything and he would rather keep the whole gang thing private. It was weird to have this many people in a flat usually. "Oh...Is this Elisa!?" One of the men piped up, giving the woman a glance that maybe was held for a second too long. "She's a hottie. Hello love." He greeted before he shook his head. "Nonoono this is Bex her friend, Elisa is the quieter one." The blonde explained before the gang member tipped his head a little so that the girl was in his sight. "Oh my bad. Evening!" He corrected, before many other people kind of gave half hearted hellos to the girls. The whole place had a weird sense of community, rough but kind and warm.
"Guys sorry but you are going to have to move next door." He commanded, which was replied with a bunch of sighs. "Can we not stay? We aren't hurting anything." One of the girls asked, to which another followed up with. "Plus Beck we haven't seen you often recently. Everyone worries about you, you know that? We like to check up on you and have a chat." He smiled and felt truly honoured to have that kind of response, it was the more lovely side of his lifestyle. "I promise we will meet up soon and have a...talk about things that have happened recently. We really need to. For now though please move out.."
Nobody seemed to be in such a big rush until Leon returned which his hands full of shopping bags. The room oddly fell silent and people began clearing up mess and taking their drinks with them. It was a weird difference in atmosphere. He filled the fridge before falling back into one of the sofas lazily. Beck moved in to cuddle Elisa, swinging a little as he held her. "How are you doing?"
