Leon had to keep his eyes focused on the road of course but now and again he couldn't help but allow his pupils to wander over to where Bex was sat. A grin formed on his face as he saw her editing her music; something he still hadn't had the pleasure of listening to. He often found it odd how even Bex, someone who didn't seem the type to have many interesting hobbies had a great amount of creativity. It was almost as though he forgot that the two weren't speaking for a second, but after gathering his thoughts his face fell back into a frown.

"So what's this place like that we'll be staying at? Is it just a hotel? A beach house? Aaaah, I can't believe you've never been. It's so much fun."

Beck laughed at Elisa's excitement, giving her a small squeezy cuddle that he couldn't hold back due to how cute she was being. "Awh its like a villa, which I think you call a beach house. With a nice big pool and a games room and its right on the beach! We can buy plenty of booze for at there and we can also have a look for some places to drink out." He explained, knowing Millie, Elisa and Bex all probably had a fake ID and if not, Leon could just buy the drinks for them. "It's three bedroom, all double beds...So erm...You guys sort out what you wan't to do." The blonde said, his voice lowering in volume as he told them, seemingly afraid of another fight breaking out. "I really don't mind. I'm fairly comfortable anywhere." Millie asked, wondering if Bex would request to bed with her or if her and Leon were going to try and sign a peace treaty; still the driver did not so much as speak up.

"She wants to know if you'll have a room to yourself."
"You're a perv. Go back to whatever you're doing."
"Call it like I see it."

"Well duh me and Elisa are sharing. Nono..sorry she can just sleep under the parasol on the beach. I fancy a bed to myself. Unless you fancy a cuddle again Leon?" Beck said with a chuckle pouting. Millie let out a soft tut and a giggle before Leon exhaled deeply, deadbeat as ever. "It's happened more times than you think." Leon told the group, deadly serious. The pair were pretty close and after parties if they didn't go to some girls home, they would share a bed as others were usually occupied. "So that's a yes then?" The blonde asked, seeming overjoyed.

"I can't wait to go shopping. Beach cities always have the best shopping."

Millie seemed to perk up at her comment, before realising that as much as she had saved for this holiday that she couldn't go wasting all her money. Though sometimes that made shopping better as you could only take home the best things so had to window shop for hours. She was sure Leon would give her some spare cash if she needed it anyway.

"Awh its like a villa, which I think you call a beach house. With a nice big pool and a games room and its right on the beach! We can buy plenty of booze for at there and we can also have a look for some places to drink out."

Elisa's stomach swam at the thought of alcohol, thinking of her last encounter with it. Still though, she'd never say no to drinking; a sad paradox next to her eating disorder. Alcohol had hundreds of calories, but drinking was the one time calories didn't matter and it was a dangerous band aid to put on her already fragile mental state. When she drank it was often in excess and she walked the line of alcohol poisoning each time. She was far to thin and it was easy for her body to process the alcohol. Elisa knew it too, but no one stopped her and she wouldn't stop herself.

"You're so cute. How did this happen? Villa." She said the last word with emphasis, again teasing his accent but it was obvious she was absolutely enamored by it. She leaned into his side, smiling into his shoulder as she snuggled.

"It's three bedroom, all double beds...So erm...You guys sort out what you wan't to do."

"I don't care. Whatever they want." Rebecca said, her tone uncharacteristically cold and focused. The attitude was likely unintentional, due to her focus on the staff paper laid out on her lap, but part of the chill was undoubtedly residual from the previous argument. She had hardly shifted her eyes from the paper and when she had, she had briefly caught Leon looking at her, stirring something within her chest that she wasn't quite comfortable with.

Her attention changed to her phone, where with some form of app she adjusted the sound of the track she had been listening to on repeat. Part of her wanted to throw the phone and the sheet music out the window and completely start over, but she knew that that was a ridiculous thought and continued to power through. After all, it was her job and her dream and the only thing she could let herself care about.

"Well duh me and Elisa are sharing. Nono..sorry she can just sleep under the parasol on the beach. I fancy a bed to myself. Unless you fancy a cuddle again Leon?"

Elisa made a 'hmphf' sound and shook her head, a haughty grin on her face. "Fine then. I guess all that sexy lingerie I bought is useless, isn't it Beck?" It was rather bold of her to say in front of the whole car, but she was in a particularly good mood now and fixing to make Beck blush, or attempt to at least. Her nose was turned up in the air as she side eye glared at Beck, she kept the pose for as long as she could before falling into a fit of giggles.

"Perhaps I'll just take Millie and Becca out while you bromance Leon." She thought aloud, thinking about spending one of the days as a girls only day. They could get pedicures and manicures, like only a girl could appreciate...While the boys did whatever boys did when girls weren't around. The three of them hanging out together seemed awkward in her mind, especially since Elisa still didn't enjoy Millie's presence, but she wasn't about to leave her out either. Girls stuck together, didn't they?

"I don't care. Whatever they want."

Leon was clearly displeased with her response but for some reason a grin grew on his jaw, though still he didn't turn towards any of them. He recalled Bex's little games and how she had spent all day poking at him in hope of jealousy. He thought it was time to give her a taste of her own medicine. "I'll sleep with Millie." He said bluntly, to which the redhead pulled a confused expression, to the point she found it humorous.

"You'll what?" She questioned turning to Beck with the face that just read 'what the fuck is he on with'.

"I'll share your room. We will have loads of fun.." Leon said, pushing it way over the line. As much as Millie was mostly always up for sex, Leon had never been her interest and had only ever used him for comfort; she really did not want this. He knew this too...they had a complicated relationship in the past what with her obsession for Beck and not him.

"Actually I'd um...rather not. Sorry." The redhead said, completely rejecting him. She respected Bex too much to do that to her, knowing what Elisa had told her about her holding onto him, despite the whole 'fuck buddies only' cover. Plus, the only person she'd really want to spend the night with was Beck. Leon didn't reply, feeling completely humiliated by the whole situation.

"Fine then. I guess all that sexy lingerie I bought is useless, isn't it Beck?"

"Elisa!" Beck exclaimed, pulling his hand over her mouth to silence her. He flushed a little red in the cheeks but tried to just laugh it off. "Jesus this car is filthy! You are all young dirty hoes and I'm too mature for you fuckers!" He said, probably the most childish of them all. "Still I can't lie. I am rather persuaded. Fine."

Millie tried to hide how much the conversation made her blood boil, but still she was slowly getting used to having to deal with the pair acting as a couple before her. Still it didn't ease the pain.

"Perhaps I'll just take Millie and Becca out while you bromance Leon."

What Elisa just said perked Millie's attention, wondering if her hatred for her had faded or if it had just been pushed under the rug for the time being. "Hmhm." She said, well she made a weird noise of agreement, but as though she was a little unsure and uneasy herself.

*****

They drove for a while, a rather short while at that as Leon was probably going a little faster than he should have been. He clearly wanted to get out of the metal cage that forced them all to be awkwardly close to each other with the bad atmosphere suffocating them. "Here." He said, pointing out the beach as they pulled up beside the Villa. It looked better than it did in the booklet, and clearly rather expensive. He had chipped in quite an amount, mainly cause he really wanted to have a good time in Bex's presence, but that had fucked up already and they weren't even out of the car yet.

"I'll sleep with Millie."

Rebecca's eyes flashed up from her paper to Leon, though her head didn't turn. The corners of her mouth turned down in a frown and she was clearly displeased with this, though she tried her best to hide her face by keep her head down. She had assumed he'd say he'd rather sleep alone or continue to joke that he'd stay with Beck, but no. He was getting back at her for lunch. He had joined in on her game and she wasn't sure she enjoyed it, but she didn't dare say a word.

"You'll what?"
"I'll share your room. We will have loads of fun.."

As funny as she wished she could take his absolutely bold and ridiculous comments, jealousy burned within her. What could she even come back with? Beck was the only other male in the car and obviously she wasn't about to hit on her best friends boyfriend, even if it was just as a joke.

"Actually I'd um...rather not. Sorry."

And that was when Bex started to snicker. "Yeah, perhaps she'd rather stay with me? Girls know girls better, anyhow." She teased, knowing turning her head to look at Leon with a wicked grin, before looking around at Millie and giving her a wink.

"Jesus this car is filthy! You are all young dirty hoes and I'm too mature for you fuckers!"

Elisa noted Beck's burning cheeks and made a point to kiss one of them, and then give him a peck on the lips. "Don't pretend you don't like it. I can see it in your face." She purred, leaning into him with a small smile. The cars conversation had turned a little dirty all the way around, but it was all pretty funny...even if Rebecca and Leon's was a little more tense than teasing. She almost felt bad that Millie had to be in the middle of so much awkward conversation.

Elisa and Rebecca had never before been so glad to get out of a vehicle. The last few miles had been ridiculously uncomfortable and getting out of the car was like stepping into Heaven. Rebecca flung herself out of the door before the vehicle came to a full stop, causing her to falter slightly in her steps.

"One day, you're going to fall flat on your ass pulling shit like that." Elisa chastised as she exited the car. "And I'm just going to laugh and laugh and laugh...."

The short brunette stuck her tongue out at her friend but then turned to face the ocean, letting the salty breeze blow through her hair. She smiled as big as she could and stuck her hands in the air as though she were saying 'Hallelujah!' "Oh my god, everything is so much better on the coast. The air, the smell, the view. I should move here." Bex squealed before turning her attention the villa. The niceness of it had caught her off guard and Elisa too.

They two girls were use to luxury, but that hadn't exactly expected something so nice with this trip, considering the assumed finances of the other three. Clearly they all got one heck of a deal or one of them had pitched in more money, but neither of the girls admitted to it or asked. Neither expected Leon was the benefactor.

Elisa looked over at Beck and raised on eyebrow. "Wow," She said simply, stretching her legs which had gone numb on the car ride from sitting for so long. "Who has the key?"

"Aww, yes. I wanna see inside. Someone unlock the door!" Becca said, nearly jumping from foot to foot like she had never been in a beach house before.

Leon jolted the car to a stop as Bex suddenly pulled open the door with out a warning. "SHIT." He yelled, turning to her and looking furious as well as hopelessly worried. "Don't do that! That really ain't funny." He scolded before stumbling out of the car, walking by her and to the boot. He pulled up the door and collected his own things, but nobody elses. Leon had always been the type to be rather noble and chivalrous but clearly he wasn't in the mood to assist the ladies today. With a huff he walked off towards the villa, keys in his mouth as he had no spare hand.

"Oh my god, everything is so much better on the coast. The air, the smell, the view. I should move here."

Millie climbed out of the car and her mouth basically dropped open. Her heart was hammering so hard in her chest. Clearly she had never expected or experienced anything similar to this. "Oh my god." She breathed out, looking out over the ocean with her eyes gleaming like emeralds. The redhead then moved to collect her things, still soaking in the environment as she clumsily pulled her suitcase up the stairs to the door.

"Who has the key?"
"Aww, yes. I wanna see inside. Someone unlock the door!"

"Mhe." Leon hummed out, thinking of a way to juggle his bags and get the key in the door. Clearly it was too difficult to physically do.

Beck sighed and climbed out of the car before pulling the metal from his teeth and unlocking it. "Tadaaa!" He exclaimed, rolling his eyes before heading back to the boot to grab his and Elisa's things, dragging them up the stairs towards the villa. "How about you go pick us a room?" He said, turning to Elisa with a wide grin on his face. He knew how excited she was and was kind of feeding more of the thrill into her as though she was a young child at Disneyland.

Millie hesitated before grabbing her things, holding to the back of the group, hoping everyone had dumped their things in a room before she got there. She wasn't sure if she was the join with Bex or stay alone, or maybe be forced with Leon? The sleeping arrangements would probably change over the week anyway. Of course someone would end up in the bath completely drunk.

Elisa's parents owned more than one vacation home and all of them were fabulously extravagant mansions that only people living with a ridiculous amount of excess wealth could dream up. She had lived her entire life having these things and as such, the beach house didn't particularly impress her, but that didn't take away from her excitement. For her, the thrill of a vacation wasn't the luxury it was simply the destination and the people. Even so, that didn't take away from the fact that the place was pretty extravagant for a bunch of young adults to be renting in the eyes of anyone remotely normal.

As the brunette ran through each room she discovered the enormous closets and beautiful views out each window, the bathrooms were fully equipped with fluffy towels and nautical decor, the kitchen was updated and the floors were all hard wood. Perhaps a little selfishly, she chose the corner room for her and Beck, simply because the view outside the window was the best. She squealed with joy and threw herself onto the bed, allowing all of the decorative pillows to engulf her. "I love the beach so. much." Elisa exclaimed, with all the excitement of a toddler who had just experienced their first taste of candy.

She grabbed onto a pillow and breathed in the scent that the beachy air had inevitably placed, with a goofy grin on her face. There was nothing Elisa loved more than getting out of town, with the exception of Jess and perhaps Beck. Away from home she didn't have to stress or think, she simply had to be. That was the closest thing to happiness that Elisa could dream up.

---

Rebecca, for once, was slightly more reserved and the awkward tension of having to choose a room was making her terribly uncomfortable. She could choose to stay with Millie, but would the red head even want her there? Would they even get along? The option was certainly more appealing than rooming with Leon, who at the moment seemed to think of her as a plague he needed to avoid. She bit down on her thumb nail, channeling her nervous energy into that.

She walked through the halls, questioning why every house at the beach needed to be decorated with blue walls and sea shells. Even her parent's vacation home had kept the cliche theme. She peeped into each room, laughing when she saw Elisa happily wrapped up in a mountain of pillows.

Finally, after a rather intense round of eenie-meenie-miney-mo, she settled on a room closest to the kitchen. After all, food and music were her only loves in this life and that way she could quietly sneak outside or search through cupboards with minimal noise in the middle of the night. She tossed her bags on one of the beds, not particularly caring on which one she slept if Millie chose to room with her. Becca had never been picky about sleeping arrangements and more often than not she found herself waking up on the floor of a strangers house with a killer hangover, so any bed was an amazing bed.

Unlike Elisa, she didn't feel the need to roll around in a bed like a child and instead decided to explore the rest of the house. The bathrooms were nice, each with granite counter tops and fancy sinks that looked like bowls. The shower was what Bex found herself most excited about, as it was huge with a digital temperature gauge. That was cool.

The kitchen was equally as impressive, with similar granite counter tops and white cabinets. The fridge was huge and would fit plenty of beer and food. It was also and open floor plan, with which she could examine the living room without ever having to leave. It was nice, but it wasn't anything special, though the couch did look particularly comfortable and there was a rather large TV. Though she hoped that none of them would be using it much, seems they were in such a beautiful location and that would be a waste. Not that the trip wasn't starting to feel like a mistake already and she like an unwelcome visitor.

Malachai.

"I'll kill him, you know. I want to watch the light leave his smug little face when I stab him through the heart." Malachai spat, pacing the concrete floor of an abandoned warehouse that his gang had taken over. Most of them were out fucking around, dealing drugs or tagging walls and avoiding the red head at all costs. He had always been twisted, even when he was just some strung out junkie on the streets, but lately he had been overcome with something much darker and his blood lust was disturbing. He reveled in it, refusing to let go and no one really understood where all of his rage was coming from. It had only grown since he had left Elisa's house that day.

Elisa. The name only served to further his rage and a snarl escaped from his mouth. Her and her entire family disgusted him. Did they really think that they could keep that toddler a secret forever? Honestly, who would believe that that little girl who looked nothing like the rest of the family, was Elisa's sister? Furthermore, what middle aged woman decided to have another kid when her other one was fourteen? That's one hell of an age gap and was a miraculously easy birth for a menopausal woman. He tried to wrap his mind around the fact that he had a kid out there, playing with blocks and completely unaware of his existence. Not that he particularly cared about the thing, but it still pissed him off that he didn't know. Perhaps he'd kill Elisa too.

Perhaps he'd kill Elisa in front of Beck and then kill all of his friends, and then kill the blonde while he was absolutely miserable and alone. The corner of his mouth turned upwards in a smirk. That'd be perfect, wouldn't it? Too bad they had taken a trip out of town or he would've acted on it then. He ran a hand over his chin, feeling the stubble that had accumulated over the course of days...weeks? It didn't matter and his thoughts drifted back to the kid. What had Elisa called her? Jess?

Fucking stupid name, Malachai certainly would have picked a better one.

And he could raise her too, to be just like him. "Maybe it's time the kid spent a weekend with her daddy then." He whispered, a chuckle erupting from deep within his throat.

Beck slowly followed after Elisa, watching her run about the place like a child. He couldn't keep the smile of his face. It had been so long since he had seen the girl honestly happy. After following her into the bedroom he also threw himself into the sheets before grabbing her and pulling her close into his warmth. She was purposely tucked into him in a way that pushed her ass against his crotch, but Beck just pretended that this wasn't the case.

After a while he got up and pulled his suitcase from the door and started unpacking his clothes. The blonde clearly hadn't packed enough for the trip and the expression on his face seemed to suggest he was just realising this. "I hope we go swimming a lot." He said frowning, before he flipped his phrase into a dirty context and smirked at her. It didn't take him long to finish unpacking before he flopped back onto the bed lazily. "I wonder where Bex is going to stay. This holiday is a fucking trainwreck already." He sighed deeply.

~~~
Leon dumped his things in the last remaining room before heading back to his car to collect the rest of the things he had decided to bring. He returned with a crate of beer, some basic food items and snacks. He unloaded the beer into the fridge but kept two for himself at this current moment. He had been gagging for alcohol the whole journey due to the recent social disasters. He also put away the bits of food, some of them closely catered to Beck's tastes since he knew the young man so well.
He then took his beers and drank the first quickly, even with it being slightly warm from the heat of the car. He didn't care, he just wanted to feel a little bit more at ease. Leon then wandered off to his room to unpack like a sulking teenager.
~~~

Millie continued to hang back behind Bex until she moved. She waited for her to decide on a room before following her into it as she left to search the rest of the Villa. She hung up her modest amount of clothes and made sure there were plenty of hangers for her room mate before leaving and heading to the kitchen. She stood awkwardly in the door frame. "Hey you don't mind me sharing with you? Do you?" She said in a quiet voice with her head leant against the wall. "I mean if you and Leon make up I don't mind moving out. I just don't really wanna stay with him." She told her. Hoping her response would be that she had no issue.

"Have you seen the pool? It's pretty nice." She said, pointing to the living room where one of the walls was just completely glass, in the centre two sliding doors leading out onto a lush garden like area with a good sized pool besides a small snug Jacuzzi. Around the outside sat a few deck chairs and marble coffee tables; the pathway had small spotlights decorating the ground that would glow up the place at night. It was beautiful and very romantic. "I mean I know we are right next to the beach but having our own little place to chill out privately is lovely. Someone must have really gone full out with their share of the cash huh?" Millie said, clearly very excited about the whole situation and the class of the beach house.

"I hope we go swimming a lot."

"I don't mind seeing you half naked." Elisa said with a cheeky grin, standing to unpack her clothes as well. Unlike Beck, she brought an arsenal. While it seemed Beck's clothes wouldn't last him the entire week, Elisa could probably get through a month before she had to do laundry. Funny enough, she thought she had packed light too, considering what Rebecca had brought with her. That girl had an entirely separate bag just for her shoes and a smaller one for makeup.

"I wonder where Bex is going to stay. This holiday is a fucking trainwreck already."

"Who cares? She'll have fun with it either way and she'll probably raise a little Hell. That's just who she is. Enjoy the show, there's not much to be done about it." Elisa answered, brushing it off. She knew her friend and if nothing else, the drama with Bex and Leon would just be a little side entertainment on top of everything.

Elisa continued to hang her clothes, rather sloppily as she was eager to get done and it was starting to feel like a chore. When she finally finished and threw herself back on the bed next Beck, snuggling closer the moment she landed. "I don't think it's a trainwreck. I'm here with you and we're miles away from that mess at home." She tacked on, intertwining her fingers with his.

"Besides, there's so many fun things to do while we're here that we won't even have to think about all that drama at lunch. Where did you wanna start anyway? Shopping, exhibits, boardwalk, beach..." She continued rambling on and staring at the ceiling. When she finally finished she turned to Beck and smiled. "So what do you wanna do first?"

"Hey you don't mind me sharing with you? Do you?"
"I mean if you and Leon make up I don't mind moving out. I just don't really wanna stay with him."

"Of course I don't mind, it'll be totally fun. We can share clothes and makeup, like a sleepover." Rebecca laughed. She assumed from what she knew of Millie that they had similar styles anyway. Both were a little more risque and Rebecca tended to dress a little more alternatively - albeit designer.

"Besides, I don't really wanna stay with him either." Half a lie, half a truth. She wanted him and she was upset that things weren't going as planned, but at the same time her pride was telling her that this was all his problem and that he really just needed to let it go. She had always made her intentions clear...even if the lines got blurred a little along the way.

"I mean I know we are right next to the beach but having our own little place to chill out privately is lovely. Someone must have really gone full out with their share of the cash huh?"

"I wish I could take credit for it, but I'm not that nice." Rebecca said with a shrug, walking to the glass wall and looking out at the scenery. The house was very nice and she made a mental note to ask Elisa where the extra funds came from, thinking that her best friend was the only other option.

She could see the ocean outside and wanted nothing more than to take a dip into it. Perhaps she could rent a jet ski or two for them to all ride on or maybe they could go surfing...if any of them knew how. Bex wasn't great at it, but she sure liked to try. "Have you ever been surfing, Millie?" Bex asked with an excited grin, the California girl in her exploding outwards.

"I don't mind seeing you half naked."

Of course Beck began grinning like a chesire cat, clearly enjoying her comment. "I hope I'm going to be fully naked for a lot of this holiday." He said, leaning in to crash against her lips and reaching up to groap her tits firmly. For a while he seemed to have the intent on taking her there and then before he suddenly pulled away, a grim expression on his face. "I can't go swimming..." He suddenly out burst, remembering the horrible marks upon his back that the Emeralds had carved. The whole group had already seen them, even Bex when he was climbing out the bath but still he just didn't want anyone point them out. He didn't want the conversation to occur. He literally was a trauma victim that was easily triggered back to his dark and bloody experience. Beck sighed, running his fingers through his hair and trying to pretend he hadn't just strongly come on to her.

"I don't think it's a trainwreck. I'm here with you and we're miles away from that mess at home."

Beck sighed, now curling into her like a small child. In some ways he was just as fragile as her, but he always managed to make him feel more...together..and less like glass shards scattered on the floor. "I love you." He said weakly.

"Besides, there's so many fun things to do while we're here that we won't even have to think about all that drama at lunch. Where did you wanna start anyway? Shopping, exhibits, boardwalk, beach..."
"So what do you wanna do first?"

The blonde seemed to force himself to perk up a bit, forming a small smile on his lips. "Well you girls really want to go shopping right? How about we have a quick look around? You could buy a nice outfit for tonight since we will probably go out for a little while..How about it?" He said with a grin.

"Of course I don't mind, it'll be totally fun. We can share clothes and makeup, like a sleepover."
"Besides, I don't really wanna stay with him either."

Millie seemed overwhelmingly happy by this idea. It was everything she had missed out on, even when she was a little girl. She raised an eyebrow at her last response. "You sure about that? Even when you wind up both drunk?" She said chuckling a little, though she knew it would either go that way, or they would be furious at each other and start brawling.

"I wish I could take credit for it, but I'm not that nice.
"

Leon. It must have been. Or Elisa? But she doubted it. Millie pressed her lips into a fine line at the realisation that he had probably gone full out to make the holiday impressive for Rebecca. It was the sort of thing he would do. She did however decide against mentioning this; it just didn't need to be said.

"Have you ever been surfing, Millie?"

"No..but I'd love to learn. Teach me? ... Awh I'll make such a fool of myself though, it's really not my kinda thing! I'm not sure..." Millie said, grinning from ear to ear and clearly rather excited, but at the same time nervous.

"I hope I'm going to be fully naked for a lot of this holiday."

Elisa was just about to mumble something about him being a perv, when he decided to kiss her in a way that turned her cheeks scarlet. She couldn't help but curl her fingers in his hair and hope that he'd continue. She was disappointed when he pulled away, feeling that their little make out session was far too brief. Her lips turned downward in a pout and she was going to protest until she saw his face and realized that he was clearly distraught by something.

"I can't go swimming..."

"Sure you can!" She replied immediately, not fully realizing what he meant until a moment later and let out a small 'Oh.' By this point she was so use to his scars, it had never really occurred to her that exposing them to a beach full of people would be uncomfortable for him. She chewed on her lip.

"If you're worried about them I'm sure no one will say anything...But you could always wear a t-shirt if that would make you more comfortable. Lots of guys wear tanks and stuff." Elisa did her best to come up with the solution, although it wasn't the best.

"I love you."

She ran her hand through the blonde strands of his hair, holding him in a comforting fashion, similar to how she would hold Jessa after a particularly harsh nightmare. "I love you too. You alright, babe?" She whispered, with lips pressed against his forehead. He seemed a little blue about something and she wasn't sure what to do about it.

"Well you girls really want to go shopping right? How about we have a quick look around? You could buy a nice outfit for tonight since we will probably go out for a little while..How about it?"

The mention of shopping put a huge smile on Elisa's face. At home she didn't often go out to the malls and nor did she care too, but at the pier and on the beach she morphed into the ultimate girly beach bum. In her dreams when she ran away, it was always to the coast, where sea salt would settle in her hair and she could feel sand on her skin. "Well how can I say no to that? A boy offering up shopping? I must take full advantage of this opportunity." She said with a grin, moving as though she were going to get off the bed. Instead, she shifted so that she was on top of him.

"But maybe we could have a preview of later tonight?" Elisa offered up a lusty smirk before pressing her lips against his for a few more hungry kisses.

---

"You sure about that? Even when you wind up both drunk?"

"If I'm that drunk I'll likely be hanging my head over a toilet." Rebecca teased, secretly hoping that maybe Leon and her could end up together in some drunken romp. Another part of her wanted to beat herself with a vodka bottle for even thinking it. "Maybe we could hit some clubs and meet some fabulously sexy people."

"No..but I'd love to learn. Teach me? ... Awh I'll make such a fool of myself though, it's really not my kinda thing! I'm not sure..."

Bex laughed and shook her head. "Don't worry, I'm not great at it either! Elisa's the one who's a bit of a natural at it, oddly enough." She explained. "The best I can do is stand up for a few seconds before I completely fall on my ass, but it's a fun few seconds!"

The couple of times Bex had gone out with Elisa on surfboards, her friend had taken to it like she had been doing it her whole life. Becca, on the other hand, was uncoordinated and shaky. Still, she loved it and she loved timing herself to see how much longer she could last on the next wave after she fell. It was all in good fun.

It was then that she heard someone stir behind them. "What am I a natural at?" Elisa popped up, her hair slightly less put together than it had been before and her cheeks pink.

"Got a little hot and heavy in there, did you?" Bex replied with a grin.

"No. Jesus. I came out here to ask if you guys wanna go to the pier and do a little shopping around before tonight." The brunette replied, quickly changing the subject. "Where is Leon hiding out?"

"No clue, but I'm super down for shopping." Rebecca said, clapping her hands together and running to grab her purse.

"Sure you can!"

"If you're worried about them I'm sure no one will say anything...But you could always wear a t-shirt if that would make you more comfortable. Lots of guys wear tanks and stuff."

Beck sighed. "I still think that's pretty weird and questionable...plus you know me I wanna swim and have fun, not hang around the pool and beach." He said, sounding a little child like in his phrasing, but still it was hard not to feel sorry for him.

"I love you too. You alright, babe?"

"Hmm..." He replied quietly, though the sound he made didn't really have a lot of semantic meaning. Right now all he wanted was to be back at home with his Father, shutting himself in the attic that familiar stank of acrylic. As much as he loved being here with Elisa and his friends, home was the only place he felt legitimately safe and comfortable.

"Well how can I say no to that? A boy offering up shopping? I must take full advantage of this opportunity."

Beck laughed lightly and rolled his eyes. "Hey! I like shopping...shopping for food sure but I like the experience." He said before he began to slide off the bed, thinking that the pair were about to leave before suddenly Elisa pulled him back. The blonde tumbled back onto the mattress. "Hey! Aren't we gunna?...!?" His eyes widened as she began to straddle him. It took him a second or two to realise what was happening before a smirk grew on his face.

"But maybe we could have a preview of later tonight?"

Beck crashed against her lips passionately. It was obvious that her forward behaviour had really got him going. They kissed for a good while, pressing their hot bodies against each other before he teased between her legs, purposely not providing her with enough to initiate sex but he certainly did provide her with the "preview" she requested.

"If I'm that drunk I'll likely be hanging my head over a toilet."
"Maybe we could hit some clubs and meet some fabulously sexy people."

"The sounds awfully good fun. I'd love to meet someone new and fresh and...take them back here." Millie giggled, though of course this was all completely fake. She only had eyes for Beck and her weird obsession with him had completely closed her off from the idea of her being with someone else, even in the simplest of ways. She had learnt someone else, such as Leon, didn't fill the hole she felt without Beck.

"Don't worry, I'm not great at it either! Elisa's the one who's a bit of a natural at it, oddly enough."
"The best I can do is stand up for a few seconds before I completely fall on my ass, but it's a fun few seconds!"

"What am I a natural at?"

The red head smiled as she explained her love for surfing despite her lack of skill. Having an actual conversation with Bex was fun and enlightening for Millie since she didn't have too many other female friends she associated with. This knew feeling of being wanted was new and pleasant. At the sound of Elisa's voice she turned to face the girl in the doorway. Beck was stood behind her. She tried not to stare.

"Got a little hot and heavy in there, did you?"
"No. Jesus. I came out here to ask if you guys wanna go to the pier and do a little shopping around before tonight."
"Where is Leon hiding out?"
"No clue, but I'm super down for shopping."

Millie swarmed with jealousy but just kept quiet, looking a little awkward and jittery. "Um. I'll go find him." She said before pushing past Beck in the doorway to head to Leon's room.

---

Leon was feeling a little better now he had been given the chance to cool his temper and get away from the group. He had drank a few beers sure, but still some how he seemed a little bit more gathered together than before. He lifted his head from his mobile as Millie walked in the door. "What's up?" He questioned, sounding as though he was used to people informing him of important matters, and that being the only time to disturb him. What a joy gang life was.

"We are going shopping...You should come." Millie told him, seeming to relax a little as she exhaled loudly. Leon responded with a simple nodd before he pulled himself from the bed, grabbed his wallet and began to walk back to the others with her.

"So you want me to come so you can waste more of my money?" Leon huffed, though he didn't sound too angry. "I don't do the work I used to, you know that. I don't have the income. I'm going to have to stop catering for you at some point Millie." He explained to her, feeling a little guilty for having to say it.

Still Millie grinned softly, not too phased by him saying something she had already worked out. "I know. You don't have to you know that and you have already done so much for me...still you keep saying how you can't stand it so me 'wasting' your money is really me doing you a favour!" She said with a laugh before closing her lips and cutting the conversation dead as they entered back into the room with Elisa, Beck and Bex. "Everyone ready? I think Leon's had a drink so we can't go in the car but it's only a short walk."

"The sounds awfully good fun. I'd love to meet someone new and fresh and...take them back here."

"That's right, lure them in like a fabulous siren. Just promise to put a sock on the door or something so I don't go barging in there." Rebecca laughed and gave Millie a wink. "Unless you want me to, of course." She was teasing, of course, and she was conflicted over sleeping with someone else after everything with Leon. It'd be fun to see his reaction to her bringing someone home, but at the same time she didn't want a repeat of what happened at lunch.

She brushed the thoughts from her head and instead decided to focus on something else entirely. For all of Bex's faults and quirks, she was uniquely observant and quite smart for someone who pretended to be otherwise; she studied Millie's reaction once Elisa and Beck entered the room. A smirk crossed her face and her eyes filled with amusement when the red head left the room. Day one and the trip was already so much fun. If you could call it that.

"You two look like a couple of kids who just got caught making out behind the bleachers." Rebecca joked, looking at her hand and examining her cuticles before looking up Beck. "Do you wear a man bun? That would be so fantastic. You'll blend in so well on the pier."

Elisa, who was still flushed, laughed. "I don't think I've ever seen you wear so much as a pony tail," She said, her eyes lighting up as she remembered the spare hair tie she kept on her wrist at all times...Due, in part, to the fact that her hair was very rarely down with the exception of now and whenever Rebecca took over. "Lemme do it. Pleeeaaase?"

"Everyone ready? I think Leon's had a drink so we can't go in the car but it's only a short walk."

Becca purposefully didn't make eye contact with Leon as he entered the room, instead she chose to focus on literally anything else.

Elisa on the other hand, didn't have a problem looking him up and down as though she disapproved. She didn't say anything about the drinking, knowing that she had no room to talk, but it'd be a lie to say she wasn't angry with the way he had addressed Becca at the table. Even if Rebecca had instigated it. She moved her gaze to Beck, turning her frown into a smile and weaving her fingers through his, her hand looking awfully small in his. "It's nice outside anyway," She chirped, thankful she didn't have to sit in on another claustrophobic, tension filled car ride. Even if it was a short one.

If you want you can just skip to them at the pier. Or I could do it in the next post?

"That's right, lure them in like a fabulous siren. Just promise to put a sock on the door or something so I don't go barging in there."
"Unless you want me to, of course."

Millie giggled at the idea of being some devilish fantasy creature that stole men's souls. It sounded like a pretty fun job to do. She then nodded at her request before a hue of red formed on her cheeks. "Um...well." The idea seemed bizarre to her and she was still finding it hard to find the correct responses to her jokes. The girl stammered a little before simply giving up at a response at all with a slight sigh.

"Do you wear a man bun? That would be so fantastic. You'll blend in so well on the pier."
"I don't think I've ever seen you wear so much as a pony tail,"
"Lemme do it. Pleeeaaase?"

"Fuck me who do you think I am?" Beck said seemingly appalled by the idea, but he couldn't deny that he wasn't curious of the results. The blonde rolled his eyes before bending down and letting the girls do whatever they wanted with his hair, before whining that they were 'hurting him' and struggling to let them finish. However as he pulled away and turned to a mirror a look of surprise came upon his face. "W..What do you think?" He asked them, sounding unsure. It was a little different but it gave him a very arty look and he seemed more mature with a stronger jawline.

"It's nice outside anyway,"

Leon held Elisa's gaze as she continued to glare at him with displeasure, almost as though he was challenging her. He knew probably stank of beer and so popped a Tic Tak in his mouth. He carried the mints with him since he was quite a heavy smoker. Leon then noticed Beck's hairstyle before bursting into laughter. "What's this? Oh god. You are a hipster. Type of guy that grows out his beard and puts flowers in it..." The man joked, unable to take his new appearance seriously.

The group then proceeded to head towards the pier which was crammed with shops, restaurants, games arcades, little cute cliche cafes and not to mention the long gorgeous beach that hid behind them.

"W..What do you think?"

Elisa squealed with delight at the end result and held Beck's face between her hands. "Look, I can actually see you and not just hair. And you're adorable." She said, snuggling into him like a child. She loved his long hair, but it was nice to see it up and off his face. He looked older and much less boyish than before, a look she wasn't opposed to in the least. "You look so Tumblr. It's cool though, I like it. You're handsome."

The walk to the beach was taxing on Elisa and while she did her best to hide it, it was only too obvious as she leaned into Beck trying very hard not to just throw her entire weight on to him. Still, she smiled as she looked around him.

The pier was bustling with life from the very obvious tourist in a large hat and impressive sunburn, to locals who looked not unlike Beck with his freshly done up man bun. People were walking around in bathing suits and flip flops, some even wearing wet suits from diving or snorkeling. There was a section filled with old men with buckets of fish as they cast new fishing lines. While there was a lot of people, the environment was very low stress and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

You could still hear the sway of the ocean, even over the voices of everyone on the pier. The wind was also stronger now that they were right over the ocean and Rebecca was more than a little annoyed with it, having put her hair up in a top knot right before they reached it. Elisa, on the other hand was forced to deal with her hair thrashing about her face as her only hair tie was sitting on top of Beck's head. She was just glad she had chosen not to wear lip gloss.

"Soo...I don't know what you guys wanna do, but that place over there has a bathing suit in the display that I think I need. So I'm gonna head that way." Rebecca said, already starting her walk that way without so much as looking back.

"She only brought like two hundred others." Elisa said, rolling her eyes.

"And I can never have too many!" The other girl yelled back, already halfway there.

"Should we follow her or do you wanna go somewhere else?" Elisa said with a shrug, looking at Beck and clearly caring very little about anyone else's opinion. The idea of trying on bathing suits made her a little uncomfortable and she would much rather do just about anything else.

There were plenty of shops that ranged from awful tourist traps filled with puka shells and hawaiian shirts, to higher end boutiques that sold jewelry and designer clothing. There was even a couple of art galleries, as well as local artists selling their work on the streets and a variety of street performers. There was a little bit of everything, ranging from interesting to absurd to just plain fun.

Beck found it hard to keep a grin on his face as Elisa leaned onto him. He knew why. He wanted to pretend he was oblivious. He thought about trying to grab her something to eat but he knew that she'd hate him for it. The blonde adored her, and he only ever wanted her to adore him. However, sometimes it was nicer to be harsh.

"Chips!" Beck perked up with a grin, pointing a finger over to a red stand selling a range of hot food snacks. Of course he meant fries, but he was too British to function. He quickly bought a large bag full and began nibbling at them before turning to offer them to Elisa. It was a long shot, but worth a try.

"Soo...I don't know what you guys wanna do, but that place over there has a bathing suit in the display that I think I need. So I'm gonna head that way."

"Should we follow her or do you wanna go somewhere else?"

Millie grinned and nodded, clearly also very excited to go look at swimwear as she liked to show off her assets and gain attention. Bikini's always complimented her. "Sounds good." The red head replied simply before daring a glance over to Leon who held the expression of someone who had just been asked which of his friends would he rather have die.

"Ermm...Uh." He said, deciding between Millie and Bex and Elisa and Beck. Both options were awkward and uncomfortable but he also didn't want to be alone. The brunette sighed before rolling his eyes. "I am not third wheeling! Call me when you get lost." Leon huffed, almost certain that they would. He then trailed off after Millie and Bex, sticking close to the redhead rather than his fuck buddy. "Swimwear eh? You'd think I'd be overjoyed but why do I feel like than delighted?" He said, trying to joke but it came out gruffer than intended.

Beck then turned to Elisa with a giant smile before pulling her into the cutest of cuddles. "Where do you wanna go? I'll do anything you want to do! Anything to see you smile..." He said before moving to kiss her lips gently. He knew she more than likely didn't want to go with them to try on swim suits no matter how much he would have adored to see her in one.

"I am not third wheeling! Call me when you get lost."

Elisa dissolved into a fit of giggles as Leon walked away and turned to Beck. "I'm not sure that was the right choice for him. I won't complain though." She said through her smiles, draping her arms on Beck's shoulders and looking up at him. She looked into his eyes, trying to memorize every line of color within them and wondering how she managed to snag him when she was such a mess. Then again, he was a bit of a mess himself, so maybe that was why they had come together. Their entire relationship was a storm that never seemed to end. Perhaps they were masochistic in that way, combining their chaos in a way that the both of them couldn't possibly end on their own.

"Where do you wanna go? I'll do anything you want to do! Anything to see you smile..."

"You make me smile." She was cut off towards the end by his kiss, which she moved to deepen, with her hand laid gently on his neck. Elisa's mood was so far changed from when she was home, that it even she felt a bit strange. The dark cloud that constantly lingered over her had lessened here and while her problems were obviously still there, she could forget them for a minute. Her mom wasn't here to remind her how much she had failed, Malachai was again - though temporarily - a distant memory, and because of that it was like she was coming up for air after drowning for so long.

"We could just walk, or there's a place down the way were you can open an oyster and get a pearl. It's kind of gross and kind of fun too, they turn them into necklaces for you. Or there's all the pier games and there's some surf shops too. If you want a wet suit to go surfing in. Or check out skimboards, that's always fun." Elisa said, continuously listing off things they could do though not making a decision herself.

"You're the one who's never been here. What do you wanna do?" She chirped happily.

"Swimwear eh? You'd think I'd be overjoyed but why do I feel less than delighted?"

"Probably because you've seen us both naked. Why would you wanna see us in a bathing suit?" Rebecca smarted off without thinking, a cheeky grin on her face. She knew she was probably pushing her limit, but she couldn't resist what he had so easily walked into. Still, she didn't make eye contact with him as she sifted through suit after suit, throwing the ones she wished to try on over her shoulder and occasionally tossing one to Millie that she thought would look good on the red head.

She took out one that was, in theory, a one piece but it was little more than strategically placed black straps with thicker patches of fabric to cover the important areas. "Do you think all the frumpy moms on the beach would be pissed if they saw me in this?" Bex asked, holding it up to herself and looking at Millie, clearly amused at the idea. "Should I try it on?"

It wasn't much skimpier from anything else Rebecca had to try on, in fact the more skin she thought would show the more she was drawn to it. If it were allowed she would go naked, but that wasn't allowed at this beach.

"You make me smile."

Beck grinned as his heart lit up before he dipped towards Elisa for the kiss. The world felt as though it had stopped moving and it could have just been them in that moment. Her finger tips against his skin were too cold for a healthy human, but he still adored her touch. It wasn't like he could ignore her flaws such as covered wrists and tiny frame but still her beauty shone through.

"We could just walk, or there's a place down the way were you can open an oyster and get a pearl. It's kind of gross and kind of fun too, they turn them into necklaces for you. Or there's all the pier games and there's some surf shops too. If you want a wet suit to go surfing in. Or check out skimboards, that's always fun."

Beck sighed, slapping his hand to his forehead at her inability to make a decision. "You are impossible." He sighed, but still had a grin on his face. For a while the pair walked until the blonde took some curiosity in a small shop that sold lots of seaside gifts and pretty little trinkets. "I still want a hipster bracelet." He explained with a grin, pulling her into the shop to look around with him. It was a lovely little place. He moved over to the stand that held a lot of men's leather bracelets and examined them carefully, deciding.

~~~
"Probably because you've seen us both naked. Why would you wanna see us in a bathing suit?"
Leon chewed the inside of his cheek and didn't say anything, but only cause he couldn't think of anything to say. He met eyes with Bex to give her a threatening glare, but she wouldn't even lock pupils. Sure enough he had fucked both girls and even loved both girls, but neither had anything for him....as far as he knew.
Millie looked uncomfortable, constantly checking the prices of things and trying to just find the one that would suit her best. As Bex tossed a dark crimson high waisted bikini at her she admired it fondly before deciding to put this in her stack of 'try ons'.
"Do you think all the frumpy moms on the beach would be pissed if they saw me in this?"
"Should I try it on?"
The red head giggled, nodding and encouraging her into the changing room. "My god you are going to get some looks in that! But in the best way of course..." She said, praising her choice. Millie also enjoyed the idea of pissing off snobby mums and being a bit of a deviant.
Leon however scoffed, raising his eyebrows in disapproval. "Yeah she will get some looks alright, maybe a few of the men might come up for a chat, to ask how much you cost." He huffed, the joke not quite as humorous as it could have been put across. "I ain't going anywhere with you in that."
"Don't be so fucking horrible!" Millie hissed with bared teeth before going into one of the changing rooms to get try on her swimwear, leaving the two awkwardly alone for a second.
Leon turned away from her but continued to talk, which completely contradicted normal social rules of conversation but he did it anyway. His voice was softer and forced to be a little more polite than he had done previously. "You don't have to go as skimpy as possible you know. You could try something different, but I think anything would flatter you anyway."
"You are impossible."
"I still want a hipster bracelet."
Elisa glanced around at all the knick knacks and jewelry, particularly fascinated by a necklace that had tiny sea shells encapsulated in resin. It was beachy without looking too much like the overpriced, cheaply made souvenirs that were scattered throughout so many of the other shops. She set it down and looked back over to Beck, looking at the bracelets he was so intensely inspecting.
"They're all nice. Very California, very hipster." She said, picking one that was entirely braided leather strands with darkly colored beads woven into it.
"I think this one's pretty cool?" It came out as more of a question, as she wasn't yet sure what Beck was looking for in the bracelet. She liked things that were simple, and for her personally she liked them to be rather feminine and dainty. Months ago she wouldn't have even worn jewelry, but lately her style had been evolving into someone who liked pastels and ribbons and things that were very girly in nature. Looking at her, she was the odd one out in comparison to Millie and Rebecca who both seemed to favor darker, sexier looks.
She wondered, for a moment, if she should try and look more like them. Is that what Beck liked? He had slept with Millie, which must have meant he found her reasonably attractive. He seemed to like Elisa just fine, and she knew that, but still she questioned whether she was good enough for him. Doubt swam through her mind. She did her best to sweep it away.
"You're morphing into quite the hipster butterfly. Is it the beach air?" Elisa teased, poking at his side.
"My god you are going to get some looks in that! But in the best way of course..."
"Yeah she will get some looks alright, maybe a few of the men might come up for a chat, to ask how much you cost. I ain't going anywhere with you in that."
"Don't be so fucking horrible!"
Rebecca let out a short laugh and rolled her eyes. "They wouldn't be able to afford me anyway." She said, as though she wouldn't deny an offer if it was for the right amount. In honesty, she'd probably sell herself if the situation arose, it wasn't that far off from sleeping around to get the best drugs available.
She sifted through a couple more swimsuits before finally deciding she had enough to try on. She had set off to the dressing rooms after Millie, but was stopped short when she heard Leon speaking to her.
"You don't have to go as skimpy as possible you know. You could try something different, but I think anything would flatter you anyway."
Rebecca stared at Leon for a long minute, her expression equivalent to that of a child who had just been told she was pretty for the first time: unsure and undoubtedly pleased. Just as quickly as it had come, however, it had faded back into the cool smirk of an sly seductress. "And why would I try to hide any of this? I'm pretty and I like to show it off." She purred, walking to the dressing room with her long pony tail flicking from side to side. She was strutting with all the confidence in the world, too bad far too much of it was just for show.
You're so sexy, why don't we show it off?
A man's voice echoed through her thoughts and a shiver went down her spine. She hadn't even realized the words she had spoken had been said to her once before.
Beck looked over his shoulder as Elisa rummaged through the shops products, setting a keen eye on a cute little necklace decorated with little seashells. He then turned away as she came to examine what he was doing, acting as though he hadn't been paying attention.
"They're all nice. Very California, very hipster."
"I think this one's pretty cool?"
"Hmm..." Beck hummed, trying it on and examining it closer. He looked as though he was trying a new food that had a peculiar taste, but he wasn't sure if he quite liked it yet. "What do you think? I like it but I don't know if its very me..." He sighed, noticing her daydreamed state before planting a kiss on her cheek to wake her. It was like a deranged fairytale.
"You're morphing into quite the hipster butterfly. Is it the beach air?"
"Must be. God knows what I'll turn out like by the end of the week." He laughed before looking down at the bracelet again. "Fuck it." He hissed, strolling over to the till before scooping up the necklace Elisa had been viewing and purchasing both the items before returning to her side. Slowly he pulled the necklace around her to fix it on before giving her a soft grin. "Where next?"
~~~

"They wouldn't be able to afford me anyway."

Leon narrowed his eyes, obviously pretty pissed off by her response. He had met many a girl in that situation and didn't find it funny to joke about...he might have even paid for a girl or two because he really missed the company.

He was took by surprise at her reaction, in fact it made him smile. The brunette seemed rather happy about his response and her eyes seemed to light up, as he locked eyes with her he grinned back, his heart warming a little. Suddenly it died as she quickly tried to save face, swinging her hips as she stormed away from him.

"And why would I try to hide any of this? I'm pretty and I like to show it off."

Leon couldn't take this teasing. He hesitated for a moment, pacing up and down the shop floor before slipping under the curtain she had just pulled herself behind to be greeted by Bex pulling off her shirt. "Oh man you don't know how bad I want to fuck you..." He moaned quietly, pulling his arm around her waist and tugging her against him so that her ass pressed against him. He wasn't sure what her reaction would be but he kind of just let himself do what he wanted to do.

"What do you think? I like it but I don't know if its very me..."

His kiss successfully broke her daze and she shrugged. "Well, what is 'you?' I think everything suits you." Elisa said, pondering what it was that Beck really did enjoy style wise, or if before today he had ever really thought of it before. Her whole life had revolved around it in the past and the idea that someone else might not have at all, was almost strange to her.

"Fuck it."

When he started putting the necklace around her neck, she couldn't stop grinning and immediately began thinking of what types of gifts she could surprise him with. "You didn't have to." She said, knowing full well that she was glad he did and that she'd likely never take it off again unless she absolutely had to. Once it was fixed on her neck, she turned and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

"Where next?"

"There's a bookstore a couple doors down, I thought looked pretty cool." She suggested, trying to think of the last time she had actually read anything. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy it, she actually loved it quite a lot, she just didn't have the time anymore and when she did...Well, her mind was far to distracted by either Beck or Jess, and the situations that came with them and decisions she would likely have to make.

This trip was the first time she hadn't let herself think much about the negative and still she found it popping up here and there even though she tried to avoid it.

When they reached the book shop, she was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than it appeared from the outside and all the books were organized by genre - conveniently indicated by handwritten signs. There were some rarer, older books locked up in lit glass cases as well. Elisa felt herself more drawn to classics and poetry than anything else, though she had been known to read more than a few Young Adult books and occasionally would admit to picking up a manga or ten. If it had words, many or few, she enjoyed it.

She mindlessly pulled a book of the shelf, a random medieval fantasy, and read the cover before sliding it back into place. "Do you like to read, Beck?" She asked him, with a dreamy smile on her tired face.

"Oh man you don't know how bad I want to fuck you..."

Leon's voice coming from behind her caused Rebecca to startle and nearly scream, until she caught a glimpse of him in the mirror. It took her a moment to gather herself before leaning into him, an intense desire to feel his warmth against hers taking over. She liked the way she fit against him, as though every curve somehow matched every one of his angles. "So," She breathed, running her fingers over his arm, the memories of her telling Millie that she was over Leon almost instantly fading with this new attention. "is this your way of forgiving me?"

She turned to face him, still with his arms wrapped around her waist and she began to trail kisses from his chest to his neck, standing on her toes to reach. It didn't take long for her to come to her senses and realize that hooking up with a dressing room probably wasn't a great idea, and risking getting kicked out of a store when they'd only been at the beach for a day would probably put a damper on things. "But maybe not in a tiny room where our only door is, y'know, a sheet?" She whispered pulling away from him and turning to the bathing suits, she pulled out two from her pile.

"Help me pick one?" Rebecca asked with a pout, holding out the one she had joked about earlier that was basically racy lingerie and another that was much less risque, black monokini.

"Well, what is 'you?' I think everything suits you."

"Hmm..." Beck pushed his fingers through his hair, forcing a smile on his face when clearly something more sinister was hidden behind the grin. What was his style? Wasn't that something you were supposed to develop in your teen years? He was probably more concerned with pumping himself full of heroin at the time. "When I first joined the gang the lads didn't like as lot of my arty farty stuff as you could probably guess so I hid it all away along with half of my personality." He sighed, pressing his lips into a thin line and exhaling through his nose. "It's not much different now."

"You didn't have to."

He laughed softly, turning to pull his face into her neck as they hugged. "I wanted to." He told her. As much as Elisa had much more money than himself he wanted to show her he cared, even if it was with something as small a token as this. He needed to show her she was loved...

"There's a bookstore a couple doors down, I thought looked pretty cool."

"Do you like to read, Beck?"

He held her hand in his as they walked, swinging it slightly in a playful manner. "You know I haven't been one to read much. I never got into it. Maybe you could recommend something for me to read? I bet its something nice to do while on the beach." Beck requested as they entered the shop, legitimately curious. He skimmed the spines with his fingertips but didn't have a clue what to pick up.

Leon grinned as she had to force herself to submit a squeal before letting out a little gasp as she pressed himself against her, quickly becoming obviously aroused.

"So,"
"is this your way of forgiving me?"

He smirked as he began to run his hand over her ass, seemingly eager for her. He had completely forgotten his surroundings at that moment in time. He might have even just took her there and then. "I don't get why you taunt me...but I guess all you ever do is tease anyway." Leon said before leaning towards her and whispering against her ear, pressing against her even more so now. "I guess I could forgive you.."

"But maybe not in a tiny room where our only door is-"

"Bex what do you think of thi-?!" Millie said in a cheerful tone as she pulled back the sheet to find the two seductively cocooned together. Her eyes absently flickered to Leon's crotch which was obviously hard before rolling back up to Bex. "Oh." She said simply, not appearing surprised but more confused considering their previous conflict. With a scoff the brunette pulled away from her and removed himself from the dressing room.

"It looks very nice Millie. Get that one." Leon answered in response to her question about the crimson bikini she was now flaunting, giving a glance back into the small room to see Rebecca now requesting assistance. He rolled his eyes, trying to play it cool.

"Help me pick one?"

"The black one. You know which I'd prefer." He told her, but followed it up with a gentle smile.

"When I first joined the gang the lads didn't like as lot of my arty farty stuff as you could probably guess so I hid it all away along with half of my personality."

Elisa frowned, unhappy that he had to hide such a large part of himself for such a long time and that he still continued to do so even though he didn't have to; she didn't think he had to, anyway. It seemed his involvement of the gang had taken so much away from him, so much of his actual identity, that she wondered how he managed to hang on to any part of himself at all. Then again, it wasn't like she was a shining example of self expression and self love. As much as she wanted to encourage him, she couldn't take her own advice and was still living in her mom's shadow, and accepting the lies her life was built on.

"You know I haven't been one to read much. I never got into it. Maybe you could recommend something for me to read? I bet its something nice to do while on the beach."

As always, the girl found herself skimming the spines of the classics section. Each novel larger than it needed to be, seeing as back then they were paid by the word; as dry and dull as some of them could start, she still credited many of them as her favorites. She stopped on Alexander Dumas and pulled out her all time favorite, The Count of Monte Cristo. She had many copies in her own collection at home, running from newer abridged reprints to vintage collectors pieces. She pulled it off the shelf and passed it to him. "The ultimate story of revenge. I love it. Kind of heavy reading for me, I kind of stick with poetry most of the time."

She skipped over to the poetry section at that mention and pulled out a book that was considerably smaller and nothing but a collection of poems from Lord Alfred Tennyson. She quickly flipped through the pages before she landed on The Lady of Shalott. "This guy wrote some stuff inspired by King Arthur legends and this one is my favorite." She explained, passing the book to Beck. "I mean, I read normal stuff too, but this stuff is what my dad was reading when I was little. So it's kind of what I always come back to, even if it's a little boring. I don't really know what you'd like."

"I don't get why you taunt me...but I guess all you ever do is tease anyway."
"I guess I could forgive you.."

Rebecca's face lit up with a smile and she ran her fingers through the side of his hair, before planting a sweetly seductive kiss on his lips; maybe a little more sweet than she meant it to be. "Good," She said, pressing against him and lightly nibbling on his neck.

"Bex what do you think of thi-?!"

If Rebecca was embarrassed at all, she didn't show it and when Leon pulled away she simply looked over at Millie and shrugged. She knew she had said she was done, but clearly that was a lie and her will was weak, especially when it came to Leon as much as she would hate to admit it.

Bex admired Millie's bikini and gave an approving grin. "You look hot as fuck, you should definitely get it. I love it against your hair and your cleavage is fucking ridiculous. In a good way. Now come in here." She said, grabbing Millie's hand and pulling her in.

"The black one. You know which I'd prefer."

"Totally noted and will be considered." The brunette said with a flirty grin before shutting the curtain and blocking Leon's view. "Boy's gone. Which one do you think?" She asked, holding the bathing suits up in front of Millie, asking as though the red head hadn't just walked in on her and Leon's brief but steamy make up. She wasn't sure she'd have any answers if Millie asked questions about it, but she figured she could make up some excuse on the fly.

Beck watched her wander mindlessly around the store with eyes bright, hiding how tired they actually were. Her fingertips danced along the book spines as she seemed to move ghostlike between the shelves. He wanted to paint her. He wanted to kiss her. The blonde slowly moved alongside her, pulling his arms around her waist and tugging her into him till he could lean over and look into her eyes with a grin. "You are so gorgeous. You know that? I'm so lucky..." He told her, almost though he was letting his own private thoughts leak out into reality.

"The ultimate story of revenge. I love it. Kind of heavy reading for me, I kind of stick with poetry most of the time."

The blonde couldn't help but think about Malachai when he heard the words 'The ultimate story of revenge.' A couple of sick thoughts skipped though his head about what he'd like to do to the red headed bastard but he never quite let Elisa know what he was thinking unless she could have read the twisted expression on his face. His fingers ached to damage him. "Oh yeah? Explain to me the basic plot." He requested, flicking through the pages swiftly before turning it over to examine the price.

"This guy wrote some stuff inspired by King Arthur legends and this one is my favorite."
"I mean, I read normal stuff too, but this stuff is what my dad was reading when I was little. So it's kind of what I always come back to, even if it's a little boring. I don't really know what you'd like."

"Sooooo hipster...." He teased with a grin before sighing and heading over to the counter anyway. He decided that if Elisa had recommended the first book to him he was willing to give it a try, and if he didn't like it he'd just play his DS or something. "Do you want anything gorgeous? Something nice to read on the beach?"

~~~
"Good,"
Leon's heart rate sped up as she kissed at him, not because it spurred him on more but because of the difference in pressure against his lips. It felt real. Was it real? He continued to kiss her despite her starting to pull away, always aching for more, to the point that it was so obvious that he really didn't want to let go.
"Bex what do you think of thi-?!"
"Millie!!!!!" Leon roared out, almost as though she had done something wrong even though she clearly hadn't. She had just stopped him when he never wanted it to end. He looked angry and she looked like a dear in headlights, but then he sighed, realising his short temper. Millie didn't seem too phased by it.
"You look hot as fuck, you should definitely get it. I love it against your hair and your cleavage is fucking ridiculous. In a good way. Now come in here."
The redhead tried to ignore what she had just witnessed for a second to lap up all of Bex's compliments. Millie was rarely complimented, and especially by female friends. "Really? You think?!" She said with a big wide smile like a Cheshire cat, almost school girl like behaviour. The girl tugged at the under wire of the bikini to examine how it flattered at her, causing Leon to hiss a little and try to divert his eyes, which was kind of odd considering that they had slept together countless times.
"Totally noted and will be considered."
Leon scoffed, knowing that 'will be considered' probably meant 'likely to be discarded' in Rebecca's language. He sighed as he was pushed out of the dressing room, but proceeded to wait patiently elsewhere in the shop.
"Boy's gone. Which one do you think?"
"OOOOoooooOOO so what exactly happened there then! I thought you guys weren't on good terms at the minute." Millie said with a giggle and wink, diving right into the drama rather than answering her question first. It was almost as though she lived for typical girly chatter. "Are you stopping in his bed now or what then?" She asked before turning her attention back to the bikini. "The one Leon likes obviously. You clearly want to keep his attention so..."
"You are so gorgeous. You know that? I'm so lucky..."
"You're being very sweet to me." She whispered, a sense of peace washing over her. They fit together like those heart shaped necklaces you'd give to your best friend. Being next to Beck gave her a sense of wholeness she rarely felt. She couldn't control the smile that spread across her face, though she tried to stop it, when she noticed the way he was looking at her, like she was the most beautiful thing in the world and she absolutely adored it: adored him.
"Oh yeah? Explain to me the basic plot."
"Guy gets framed for something he didn't do and is imprisoned for years; develops a brilliant, elaborate revenge plot and chaos ensues." Elisa said without a thought, flipping through another book on the shelf. She loved reading, almost as much as she loved Beck or Jess. Books were easy to escape in and she loved everything from gothic romance novels to manga. The girl could live and die in a library and she'd consider it heaven. She took a moment to glance up at him, noticing the remnants of something dark on his face and she frowned.
"You okay?" She asked, pressing her hand against his cheek, her brow furrowed with concern; not unsimilar to the way she looked at Jess when she hit her head or cried. It was easy to forget that Elisa had a kid, when she acted so much like a teenager and was stuck in an awkward limbo of what she wanted, who she was and who she was allowed to be.
"Do you want anything gorgeous? Something nice to read on the beach?"
"I don't know. Maybe a journal or something." She said, absentmindedly as she made her way to where the journals and sketchbooks were kept. They were all neatly leather bound, some basic and some with elaborate and beautiful designs. "I never fill them up. I have a thousand with only a couple pages filled in and then I just let them sit around like some kind of hoarder. It's really lame."
"Millie!!!!!"
"Really? You think?!"
"It'd be a dumb thing to lie about." Bex teased, flicking her eyes from Millie to Leon, amused and maybe a little embarassed by what had just occurred. Even she didn't like to be caught in the act.
"OOOOoooooOOO so what exactly happened there then! I thought you guys weren't on good terms at the minute."
"Are you stopping in his bed now or what then?
"The one Leon likes obviously. You clearly want to keep his attention so..."
"I dunno. He just came into the dressing room and started actin' all sexy. What was I supposed to do? He's cute, he's good in bed and Lord knows I'm a slut." Rebecca said with a shrug holding one bathing suit in front of herself as she stared in a mirror, switching it out with the other. She liked them both and felt comfortable enough in the both of them. "I'll stay in our room. Just because he came in here all hot and bothered doesn't mean he gets to spoon me every night."
"It's kind of nice to have someone in here with a similar style to me. I mean, don't get me wrong Elisa is beautiful and she always picks out shit that looks fabulous on her, but she likes pastels and cashmere sweaters." The girl rambled, slipping out of her clothes and into the bathing suit that Leon preferred, not caring that Millie was right there next to her. "What's the story with you two? Like, why do you hate each other so much. I think you're both swell and you both like me. Is Beck's dick that good?"
It hadn't taken much for Rebecca to realize that the tension between the two was because of the boy. It wasn't like it was so glaringly obvious or anything.
She continued to mindlessly make small talk as she debated on her bathing suit, though she knew in the end she'd likely buy both. Why pick between two, when she could have the best of both worlds? Hannah Montana had the right idea after all. She ripped the tag off of Leon's preferred and threw her clothes on over it. Just because she was buying it, didn't mean he had to know about it.
"Guy gets framed for something he didn't do and is imprisoned for years; develops a brilliant, elaborate revenge plot and chaos ensues."
Beck pressed his lips into a thin line. It wasn't exactly his own story but the plot seemed compelling and relatable enough. He smiled and have a small nod before tucking the book under his arm before going back to brewing in his own horrid thoughts.
"You okay?"
He flinched at her touch, almost reaching up to batter away her hand as he lay his hand upon her cheek. The blonde jolted away from her, accidentally letting a dangerous expression fall on his face. Not the soft sort of dorky smile Beck would usually hold, but a more serious and cold expression of a gang leader, a warning not to cross the line. It melted away quickly but for a second it was there.
"I don't know. Maybe a journal or something."
"I never fill them up. I have a thousand with only a couple pages filled in and then I just let them sit around like some kind of hoarder. It's really lame."
Beck laughed rolling his eyes. "You are a hoarder. Well you would be if your parents let you..." He chuckled before letting his eyes settle on a larger version of the empty books, red and embedded with spirals and the pages inside thicker than usual. He moved over to it and slid it under his arm along side the novel he had chosen. "We should make an album. Not just me and you but...everything that's important to us." He told her, starting to develop ideas about the photos he would cram into that red book.
"You have 10 seconds to pick up something you want." He tutted, tapping his foot impatiently.
~~~~

"I dunno. He just came into the dressing room and started actin' all sexy. What was I supposed to do? He's cute, he's good in bed and Lord knows I'm a slut."

Millie giggled softly but didn't say anything. She knew Leon was good in bed it was just after he had finished that always bothered her. The way he pulled his arms around her, wanting more and more kisses and for her to stay always made her uncomfortable. He always ached for more than what she could give, and Millie wondered if Bex had come across this issue yet. She opened her mouth to speak out before closing it again, hesitating, before deciding to spit it out. "I guess he is a good fuck but...awfully clingy don't you think?"

"I'll stay in our room. Just because he came in here all hot and bothered doesn't mean he gets to spoon me every night."

"Awh ain't you the little heartbreaker." The red head giggled, leaning towards her enticingly before remembering Bex's sexual preferences and kind of quickly recoiling her body, a slight blush upon her cheeks. She also forced her eyes the other way as she began to strip. Millie knew she was straight but this new introduction to someone who was queer was a little new and unnerving to her. She decided to take the red bikini off to let Leon purchase it and changed back into her clothes.

"What's the story with you two? Like, why do you hate each other so much. I think you're both swell and you both like me. Is Beck's dick that good?"

Millie kicked at the ground with her black ankle boots before letting out a long 'errm' sound and sighing. "I'm not too sure. I think shes just a little jealous I've been on him and that we are close. He and I weren't anything serious though you know?...To be honest she didn't treat me with a lot of respect when we first me and it made a lot of tension between us. I recall being called a fat sausage or something?" She jested, finding the situation now a little amusing. Millie quite obviously left the bit out about her still being hopelessly in love with him and that her last dying wish would be for the two to split.

"Oh yeah and she doesn't like the fact I used morphine to numb Beck and his..." Her mouth snapped shut rather quickly once she had realised what she had almost began to explain. It was easy to forget that Bex wasn't 'in on this'. She didn't know shit...
