Heart of Lust

Nik is one dashing fellow, with his elegantly disheveled chocolate locks, and slate gray eyes that have the uncanny ability to see right through you with just the curious tilt of his head acting as the switch. He's tall, and sports a body covered in lean muscle, topped off with tanned skin. He hasn't got any key, distinguishable features, yet your sure to never forget his face. Especially that smile. The half grin, half smirk. The type of smile that seems as if he's perfected the inimitable curl of the lip of the Mona Lisa, and leaves you wondering if perhaps he knows something about you he shouldn't. And that's his trained smile, make him truly laugh, or catch him when he's truly happy, then you'll see a smile that makes Nik appear to be an entirely different person. He's freckle-less, birthmark-less, tattoo-less, and only has one piercing; a barbell straight through his tongue. Normally, you'll find this confident young man sporting a decent, dark pair of jeans, and a variety of button downs, t-shirts, polos, vests, and whatever else he thinks will impress the ladies.

Nik is the type of guy that likes to play it cool, and likes to be in control. He likes to appear mysterious with a subtle, gentlemanly kind of flirting. He's the guy that prefers to make the women come to him. He's the guy that says all the right things, at exactly the right times. A compliment here, a brush of his hand there, a subtle glance at the lips leaving his latest victim weak in the knees as she thinks she's just found the perfect gentleman. He's cocky, and finds most people ridiculously predictable, so he thrives on doing things no one expects him to. Despite what most might think, Nik actually has low self esteem, and covers it up with well timed remarks and well trained facial expressions. He's extremely distrusting and constantly has his guard up, thus any woman he goes after; it is likely that their 'relationship'(if it can be called that) will not make it to the next night, or if they're lucky; three weeks tops. It strategically ensures no one gets to attached, thus no one gets hurt. Nik is quite stubborn, and persistent. He likes a challenges, and relishes the chase, often going for things he can't have, just to prove people wrong when he ultimately gets it. If you're to easy, he won't even bother. Underneath, Nik is also quite pessimistic, a glass half empty kind of guy. For a guy that used to be a romantic, He is now rather cynical and will swear to most anyone who asks that he doesn't believe in love. That love simply doesn't exist, rather it's a chemical and hormonal imbalance that occurs within the body causing what we call butterflies, and sweaty palms and such.

Just an outline thing for now. It's 1:30 am and I have an 8:30 class in the morning. :P I'll fine tune this whole thing tomorrow.
Grew up one of two siblings, the other being his slightly older sister Lilian, also his fraternal twin.
Mother cheated on father - Parents divorced at age 13 - Watched father have nervous break down and basically try to reassemble his heart.
High school - Dated his first love sophomore year, last three months; "it was her, not him". Dated another girl senior year, last a year an a half, they were going to stay together through college, until she was caught making out with Nik's best friend during his graduation party.
Every girlfriend after that only lasted a few months tops, until he weened it down to three weeks or one night stands, just to be safe. Since then he hasn't gotten his heart broken, so this method seems to be working.
Currently - Trying to make a living as a musician, while moonlighting as a bartender.
