Introduction
There was once a beautiful realm named Faybourne. A place of great beauty, mankind referred to it as "heaven". But like all good things, this paradise had to end as well, and as chaos and hate invaded people's hearts, the dimension was sealed away in order to protect itself, never to be seen again-at least, that was the plan. As Faybourne fell, the six elemental princesses-keys to the dying world-were scattered throughout Earth with their chosen Guardians. With their old memories locked away and new ones created for them, the twelve of them began living normal lives on Earth-unaware of the growing threat that had destroyed Faybourne and was now preparing to devour Earth...
Intro
(You are one of the six princesses or their Guardians. You have false memories that you feel are true ones, but you have an affinity for a certain element and strange, adverse reactions towards its opposite. You may get flashes of your true memories, but your character will dismiss them as imagination for now.)
Rules
1. No Godmoding, metagaming, etc. (You control your own character. No one else's.)
2. Be kind and courteous to your fellow Roleplayers. (Just be nice and don't flame people.)
3. Please, Please, PLEASE proofread. (This is just a personal thing, but many grammar and spelling mistakes irritate my brain. A few mistakes here and there are fine, but READ BEFORE YOU POST.)
4. Romance is fine! (Just don't be too explicit. Keep it to kissing and such, and make it short and sweet. We don't need essays on how much your character loves someone else.)
5. Don't be a Mary-Sue. (Have a flaw or two, please. Basically, don't be invincible, but don't be so weak you can't function, either.)

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 10 authors
As it faded, Jagus noticed that the minions were gone. "Wow," he muttered to himself after he blinked a few times in surprise. "That was quite impressive, princess." Then he noticed that the princess had fallen unconcious. "Princess? Oh, no no no no no no no! Princess! Stay with me here! I need you awake!" he said as he snapped his fingers a few times by Evangelina's ears to try and call her back, but it was no use. She was out cold. In his head, Jagus was furious with himself. You IDIOT!, he thought to himself. Had you moved faster, she never would have had to save your hide and do that to herself! Still aware they weren't in the clear yet, Jagus kept running to the chambers.
When he finally reached the door that led to the chambers, Jagus couldn't help but notice that chaos minions were swarming all over it. He quickly ducked back behind the corner before they noticed him. "Oh, come on" he muttered to himself. "I don't have time for this!" He gently set the princess back down, and created a weaker but long lasting light barrier around her. Determined to push through the wall of minions, Jagus drew his sword and shield, and charged them.
Jagus started his attack by creating a burst of light in front of him that stunned the minions. He immediatly followed up with a dervish of sword slashes, each one dispersing the minion it hit. Eventually, they got back up from the blast, but he just knocked them back with is shield when they did. After this, the minions decided to suround him, but Jagus just compensated by blocking with the shield and countering with his sword. One, however, got lucky and slightly cut his back. Barly registering this, Jagus slammed it into the wall with his shield, and ripped it apart with his sword. He turned around, only to be stabbed in the edge of his torso under his ribs by one right behind him. Not registering the pain in his fervor, Jagus smashed it against the floor with his shield untill it was nothing. Not wanting to prolong the fight any longer, he created another flash of light, and finished off the rest.
With the last of them dead, Jagus finally felt the pain of the stab wound on the side of his belly. In serious pain, he staggered back over to the princess, and lifted her back up, with some difficulty. This could cause some problems..., he thought disjointedly to himself. Holding himself together by sheer force of will, he walked over to the door, and kicked it a few times, his hands being full and all. "Please open the door!" he called out in desperation. "Princess Evangelina is in danger!"

Just as when he yelled, the minion suddenly yelled. It's voice echoed throughout the halls, it vibrated Leiyon's ears, and just as he fell down, it suddenly stop. Dark aura started to engulf around it, as a hurricane of the dark auras surrounded it, then as if consumed it. Leiyon, who before being hit, was protected by an invisible shield, most likely the wind. The explosion stopped, but when he regained sight, something big stood where the minion was. "What the... FUCK. RUN, AURORA! DON'T LOOK BACK!" He yelled, as he pushed Aurora with his wind, as she slowly went further and further into the hall. "You damn monster. What the fuck are you..." He looked at it, as it instantly slammed Leiyon to the wall. The pressure was so heavy, blood slowly came out of Leiyon's mouth. It stopped, and Leiyon fell weakly down to the ground. "Sh...it.... Can't.... put up... much... of a fight...." Leiyon mumbled, as he got up, and quickly charged at it. It tried to stop him, slamming down on the ground, like a human trying to hit an ant, Leiyon stopped midway, then he raised his sword. "I'm gonna end this! You fucking monster, DIE!" Air started to form on his sword, and it extend and extend, to the point where it stood neck to neck with the monster.
"Heaven's BLADE!"
He pushed the blade down, as it chopped the monster in half, but it then turned into hundreds of mini minions. Leiyon did not have any strength left, as the attack on him was severe, and that skill took all he had to use. He fell down to the ground, but before that, he use his last ounce of strength to push himself back, as far as it can take him.

She forces herself to get up as a desperate cry for help is heard at the door. The princess of light is indanger, it seems, and she quickly lets the girl and her Guardian inside, shutting the door firmly behind them.

"Are you okay?" She asked surveying the other girl for any injuries. She noticed that her dress was ripped in a few places. Nerissa gripped Genevieves hands and focused on breathing calmly, slowing her soothing aura to spread to her. Something told her that she needed it. "It'll be okay." She whispered.
Suddenly, she felt a cool breeze brush her back and, turning she saw the fire go away. The councilwoman seemed to have dealt with all the monsters. She smiled with relief.

He finally acknowledge the others in the room, his voice still raspy from the pain. "Councilwoman Aquilla...." he managed to say. "Thank you... for the help." He glanced around to find he was not the first to arrive. The water princess, the same age as him, and her guardian, the youngest guardian of the current group. "Princess Genevieve..." he continued. "It is... an honor. Nerissa... likewise with you. I'd love to... continue the plesantries.... but as you can see... we have a... situation.. Gah!" he cried out as a new burst of pain shot through his body. He grabbed his wound again, grimacing in agony. "Well," he said. "This is... just perfect! Just what we needed....... a wounded guardian."

Force once he wanted her to take their situation seriously, but he refused to lose his temper. They were getting closer to the council's chambers when he saw a bunch of chaos minions blocking their path. Grim faced, Grayson raced forward and with one swipe of his sword, caused the floor to rise and it rose so quickly that it launched the minions towards them. Grayson ducked far enough down so neither he nor the princess were hit. When the ground settled, Grayson raced up to the doors and knocked.
"This Princess of Earth's Guardian and the Princess Annika requesting permission to enter please!" he requested.

The pounding on the door caused Evangelina to wake up. She still felt out of it and very weak, but at least she was conscious. Opening her eyes, she looked around before seeing Jagus next to her, who looked to be in pain.
"Jagus . . ." she murmured as she reached for him.
It was then she saw the way he was grasping his side and saw blood. Gasping, she managed to move, only to roll onto the ground from her sitting position. Getting frustrated, she looked to see the others in the room.
"Please help . . him." she begged as she tried to get up.

If Phoenix was scared, she didn't show it. Either that, or she had been too frightened that her body was unable to register the negative emotions. Her face was blank as stone.
"You're more in tune with the physical shadows of Earth then I am. I need you to find me the portal that will lead us to the Council chambers okay? Just reach out with your mind. Think about where you want to go, and then feel a shadow that is in that place. Once you do that, I can turn this broken portal into one we can use. Okay? Can you do that for me?"
The talk about physical shadows, portals, blah blah blah gave Phoenix a headache. The only things she could craft out of shadows were animate objects - animals or household items alike. She knew nothing about tapping into the great reserves of her magical powers. At least, not for combat. Phoenix's mind was racing furiously, trying to grasp hold of what Taylor had said but she found it to be quite the hopeless attempt. The environment around her didn't actually nuture or encourage creative thinking, what with Keera's minions trying to make chicken stew out of her Guardian - whom was doing a pretty amazing job at avoiding being turned to mush.
Phoenix studied the crummy old portal on the verge of collapsing, huge cracks zigzagging here and there in the structure. She had never seen one of those in person before, only in books that Taylor had once showed her before. She reckoned the only thing missing from it was its center - the very core in which was black as the void. Perhaps she could make one with shadows? It was worth a try, and Phoenix was starting to panic. Concentrating on a task at hand would serve well in distracting her from the horrifying entities of chaos.
Taking a deep breath, Phoenix raised an outstretched hand at the portal. The good thing: They were surrounded by darkness; engulfed in it. Heck, this entire place balanced on shadows itself. The bad thing: The quantity was so enormous that Phoenix was nearly overwhelmed. It was like trying to control a thousand gallons of water that swirled, thrashed and resisted obstinately. In that case, she decided that she would only try and take a tiny portion of it - a portion enough to fill the portal and make it functional.
While the battle between Taylor and the dark minions ensued, sword clashing against shields in a flurry of movement, darkness had started to creep up to inch ever so slowly towards the base of the portal. They reminded Phoenix of snakes that wrestled against one another, each surging forward to pile themselves up. A few minutes later, Phoenix found herself to be staring at a three-quarter filled portal. Her heart pounded with excitement, but only to be plunged back down in dread as Taylor's desperate struggle wormed its way to the corner of her eye.
Meantime, the portal continued filling itself up.
"Taylor!" Phoenix screamed. Half her mind panicked for a way to help. The other shrieked: Now then young lady, stop screaming. You don't scream, so don't start now.
Phoenix raised her hand in Taylor's direction. What occurred next surprised her at the ingenuity of her quick thinking. And of course, the 'snakes' played a part.
Tendrils of darkness shot forward. One coiled itself around Taylor like a lasso before sending him sailing back towards Phoenix. A dozen more others caught the last chaos minion, tightening their hold around his arms, legs and neck. With a vicious rip, the shadows tore the minion apart - his remainders dissolved into little piles of smoldering ashes.
"Taylor, the portal. Do we enter?" Phoenix didn't want to, actually. It was like entering a doorway into a whole new dimension, not knowing if one might lose his or her way. The very prospect of it frightened her.

"Unfortunately, I cannot heal you. We-" she gestures to Genevieve and Nerissa, "-were attacked by a large monster of Chaos, and much of my energy was sapped trying to fight the creature." Her eyes brightened as she realized another solution. "But I know someone who can!" Rushing over to the other end of the room, where an enormous green crystal resides, she takes out a small flute from a fold of her dress and plays a few notes. After a few moments, an odd sound reverberates through the chamber.
"Asclepius, please hurry," Aquila whispers, hoping the great healer of the Council will arrive in time.
The setting changes from Faybourne (PAST) to Earth
When the minions began to envelope him after he sliced the monster in half, and he managed to push himself away just a bit, she let out a burst of power. The minions flew away from his body in all directions, slamming into various items, furniture, and parts of the wall, exploding into a black dust as they made contact. She rushed over to her Guardian’s side and, despite how much larger and heavier then she he was, she managed to get his arm around her shoulders and pull him up. She struggled a little under the weight of his body. “Okay, Leiyon, you’re going to need to help me here,” she gasped out, stumbling a little before hefting him up more. “Leiyon, hey, help me out here,” she groaned a little as she managed to get him around a corner. “Where are we going?” she asked breathlessly.
Channeling some of the last of his energy, Jagus created a pulse of light in his arm. It was feeble at best, but just barely enough. Using it on himself, he felt himself grow faint as the pain slightly receded and the wound shrunk ever so slightly. It was still there, but it wasn't as wide as it was. Reaching for every ounce of strength he had, he stood back up, still holding his side.
"This should be enough to keep me on my feet, at least untill the healer arrives." he said. Jagus was quite aware that what he just did was incredibly stupid and foolhardy, but he had to try, at least. His head slightly clearer, he glanced around to see the newcomers. "Grayson and Princess Annika." he said, bowing his head slightly. "Its good to see you two still in one piece." He looked around and did a head count. The princesses and guardians of light, water, and earth were all here. That was half of them. Fire, air, and darkness still had yet to show up. He made a silent prayer that the other six were still alive.
A few minutes passed, as they have reached a door where voices can be heard. He knew this is the room where the other ten was gathered, but the problem is the minions at the door. Fortunately, part of his strength returned, and he knew that he didn't have more time to waste, considering that his bleeding internally. He quickly got back up, and walked towards the dark crowd. Aurora was behind, trying to stop him, but he can't hear it. He continues walking, and then stood a few meters behind the crowd. "HEY YOU, FUCKING MONSTERS. HERE." He yelled, attracting the attention of the dark minions. They quickly charged at him, but he raised his hands and mumbled a skill. "Air blast."
A huge blast of air that filled the room blasted through the dark minions, as they disappear one by one, and behind the blast of wind is followed by Leiyon and his princess. Once they've reached the door, he knock on it with the last ounce of his strength. "The Air duo is here... Please open the door!" Then he fell down, his conscious slowly disappearing, as he mumbled again under his breath. "Damn it..."
The setting changes from Earth to Faybourne (PAST)
Someone knocks on the door, and Aquila barely hears through all the commotion, but she opens it cautiously. A wide smile spreads across her face as she engulfs Asclepius in a hug, his presence comforting her. "Thank you for coming so quickly," she murmurs, the smile still on her face.
Her fellow Council member-the closest thing she has to a father-surveys the room with his brown eyes, before asking in a deep baritone, "Who is my patient?"
Jagus nearly fell over, but he pulled out his sword and used it to support himself. As the tremor ended, Jagus noticed the crystals begining to fall. Thats when he noticed Evangelina, on the floor trying to stand back up, and directly in the path of one of the shards. "Evangelina!" Jagus cried out as he put on a burst of speed he didn't know he had left in him. He ended his dash in a slide, ending up right next to the princess with his shield out. Jagus used the shield to cover him and Evangelina from the crystal, which smashed against it and mostly shattered, the last few pieces scattering around them. Jagus leaned Evangelina back against the wall. "Don't worry." he said in a calming manner, pushing a few strands of hair out of her eyes. "I'll protect you." As he moved to stand back up, Jagus found out the hard way what happens when you use the last of your strength in an instant, and fell back over, now leaning against the wall. He coughed up a slight trickle of blood. As he wiped it away, he commented "Its just a trickle, at least. It could be worse."
As Asclepius entered and asked for his patient, Jagus smiled and answered him. "If you had entered a few moments ago, that would have been just me. However, Leiyon over there needs far more medical attention than I do. Take care of him first. I can hang in there for a few more minutes, at least.

"You idiot!" she cried, hurrying over to him. She stopped as Asclepius began to work on him and took several steps back, jumping as the door began to shudder. She darted over to stand near Aquila, dropping her hand on her shoulder. "I can hold them back," she said with a nod. She turned back around and stared at the door. Immediately, powerful gusts of wind began to slam against the door, relentless in their assault. They pushed it back so it stopped shuddering from the attack of the enemy, but her energy was slowly draining away. She wouldn't be able to hold it for too long, just long enough for Leiyon to be healed and for Aquila to figure out what they were supposed to do.
"I can hold them back."
He clicked his tongue. Why wasn't he stronger? Every moment he had been wandering about that. He hated himself for being weak. He needed to train more, he told himself. The struggles of the princess trying to hold the minions back hurt his pride. He couldn't bear to watch his princess doing things that he should be doing. Her pranks was enough a burden for him, but seeing her struggle like that crossed the line. He hurried the healer, who nodded. The air around him are enough a treatment for him to rest for half an hour, but with the help of the healer, it turned out faster than he thought.
Quickly, once confirming that he could sustain his balance and use his powers, he quickly rushed to Aurora, who stepped back against the monsters. He gently hold her stretched arms, fighting off his phobia and complex, he transferred small amounts of his power, making the gust of wind suddenly turning into a tornado and wiping out the minions quickly. He let go, and suddenly feel to his knees. "Damn phobias. Got me shaking knees." He clicked his tongue again, and turned away, blushing.

The crystal in the Council chamber, looking something like this, except much larger, is a way for Council members to communicate quickly in times of need. The flute Aquila played (which all council members have, just with slight, personal adjustments) is made of a material somewhat like lapis lazuli, with three main sections, two straight and one that rounds out into a cone-like shape. A star is carved out in the center.
As for Asclepius, he is one of the NPCs (like Taurus and Polaris) that everyone can control. He has brown hair that is greying, stands at 5'7", and is more on the burly side. He is a very jolly person, and his power is to heal, which appears as a white fire that encases his hands. He and Aquila are quite close, and she considers him a father figure of sorts. He is over 1000 years old.
