| I may be one of the most blunt people you will ever meet. If I have a problem with something or someone, it will be made known. I'm not afraid of anything or anyone, and will gladly take you on. But other than that, I'm a total party-goer. I only smoke cigarettes, so if you bring me meth or some shit, I'll deck you. Don't think you can walk around and spread crap about me or my friends, you've got another thing coming. I don't get the point of seriousness. Fun is there for a reason. I'm young, so I'm going to take it to my advantage. I guess I was born with a certain aura that makes me desirable by men, no matter the age. Which Im not sure if thats good or bad, but I don't mind. |

I awoke with a pounding in my head that felt like a gazillion bombs going off inside. Honestly, to others, it probably was just a small headache. But, with me, every single injury, no matter how small, the pain was magnified 100x. That's the thing about Fibromyalgia, it really messes up your pain tolerance, so that you can't really tolerate anything. Someone accidently bumps me in the hallway? I'm fighting not to cry. So, yeah, my head hurt. A lot.

"Ugh...where are we?" I sat up slowly, one hand to my head, and looked around. Everything was covered in dirt and rocks. Not a single piece of cement in sight. The ground was made purely of dirt, and the wall was made of rocks. I looked down to my left and saw Terry Barton, my amazing boyfriend, lying in the dirt, unconscious. Moving slowly, fighting past the bombs going off inside my head, I shook his shoulder. "Terry? Terry, babe, wake up. Please, wake up." I shook his shoulder again, and fought back frightened tears.

The last thing I remember is walking home from the party, and then the guns, and that's it. I was so terrified. I remember screaming really loud and trying to hide behind Terry and Ren, with Maddy, but then someone had grabbed me and pushed my against the van. That paralyzed me, thanks again sickness, and then I woke up here. Where was here? I tried to stand, giving up on Terry, but the minute I put any weight on my legs they just collapsed from under me. God, my head hurts!!

"Somebody please wake up soon..." I said softly, curling into a ball and waiting for the pain in my head to subside, and for somebody to please wake up.

Terry Barton
The sound of a very much frightened voice resounded in the distance. It was familiar, heart-wrenching, and naturally pulled me towards it. Disembodied thoughts echoed in my head. What was going on? Where was I? Opening my eyes, I shakily sat up on the ground, still groggy. Belle. Where was Belle?

A sledgehammer suddenly slammed the side of my head, or at least it felt like one did. My hand shot up to the affected area and cradled it in an attempt to dull the pain. Things were starting to come back to me. That van, the guns they pointed at us with cruel intent. I remembered that, eschewing all reason and logic, I had charged straight at them to try and lend a distraction for everybody to get away. Then everything blacked out. The bump seethed under my fingers, a bit of dried blood matting up my hair. Maybe I had earned that strike to the head; it was a pretty dumbass idea anyway.

I peered at my surroundings, though it was difficult at first until my eyes adjusted to the darkness. Even then, all that welcomed my vision were four stone walls barring me from the rest of the world. The thought raced through my mind again. Where was I? Then a figure trembling beside me came into focus. It took me a second to realize it was Belle. I reached out and gently wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer. Ignoring the pain that I myself was experiencing, I stroked Belle's hair, striving to comfort her, knowing that her pain was probably far worse.

"It's okay. Everything will be okay." I breathed the words into her ear softly. Of course, this was as much an endeavor to console me as it was for Belle. Did I really know if we were? No. However, those were the words that both of us needed at that very moment, an affirmation that we would come out of this, whatever it was. A quick glance to my side revealed the forms of Maddy and Ren, still unconscious on the dirt floor. I pondered whether I should try and wake them up. Not like there was much to look at around here, so perhaps it was better they stayed in dreamland for just a little while longer.

Adolphe Stayne

There was a feeling of complete and utter control that came with holding others captive. You knew it felt wrong and yet it felt so right. To subjugate another, to force them to bow down to your whims left one with a feeling of pride and autocracy. As the teenagers began to come to their senses, a figure in another room watched closely from a monitor. A small speaker and a USB microphone laid on the table before him, directly to the right of the monitor. The young girl with the dark hair came to first. Obviously, she was injured and unable to function normally. It didn't come as a surprise, though. They- meaning the kidnappers- had been forced to knock all of the teens unconscious. It made for less struggling and less resistance.

Adolphe Stayne had dressed himself in an ebony colored t-shirt, worn to the point where it hung a bit loosely on his athletic frame. Leaning back in his chair, he kicked his feet up on to the table before him, showing the plain blue jeans he wore, along with a pair of brown work boots, the kind you'd find at a construction site overpopulated with loud and raucous men. Pulling a gray sweatshirt jeans around his body tighter, due to the cold temperatures in the room, Adolphe zipped it shut slightly before he reached for the microphone. With a flick of his wrist, he turned on the microphone and held it near his mouth, close enough to have his voice heard and yet far enough away to keep from being too loud. He wouldn't put the kids through any pain- not yet, at least.

"It's good to see you waking up," he spoke, his deep voice echoing through the dark room that the teens sat it. Two speakers in the corners of the room carried his voice to them and surrounding them with the gruff sound. "You all certainly took quite a few injuries to the head...it frightened me for a moment." He voice was laced thick with a sarcasm that was so evident, it stung. Adolphe's tone seemed to mock the teenagers, hardly showing any sort of worry that they wouldn't pull through after their kidnapping. "I hope it isn't too uncomfortable down there; we had to settle you in without much preparation time."

Ellan Doren

All around me was just black. Black black black - I couldn't stand it. My eyes felt so heavy... and my head was as if someone had knocked me down - what? Who the hell would able to do that? - Now I slightly remembered the events that happened. Although I couldn't remember anything... but I knew, I was in deep trouble. And I knew I had a favour open to my buddy Terry. God - I could hug you Terry, even I did not realise how dangerous it could be and just stood there doing nothing. But as he ran, I tried to get away with the girls... but... I did not really want to remember those events, so I concentrated myself to open my eyes. But... Why couldn't I open them already? It felt as if they had given up life! Comon - open yourself! I need to... Maddy! My Maddy!

I was stressed indeed and forgot my headache for awhile, blinked as I opened my eyes and found myself in a room... surrounded by walls. With no doors, so it seems to be that time. To be honest... it frightened me. It made me remember of a prison like room... wait. I wouldn't be too wrong if I would assume something like that though. My eyes were searching for my girlfriend, and I already saw her beside me, leaning, and didn't move... wait... I panicked, as then I noticed her breath. She was sleeping. I released a relieved sigh. She was okay. And that was essential above all things - for now. I embraced Maddy and pulled her even more to me, as then finally I noticed Terry and Belle. Heard Belle saying something about his head. Yeah, it seems that Terry was the one who is the most injured here. As I wanted to say something as suddenly a voice was heard, from two different corners. Yes, I was so conscious that I managed to come to the conclusion that the man who spoke was not in the room, but speaking through speakers.

Honestly - I didn't like the sound of his voice from the first time he spoke. And his bluff: "It frightened me for a moment..." Yeah yeah, right!. I just wanted to come back with some sarcastic words like always. But something in his voice made me shut and not saying anything for the moment. But him coming with some unusual kind words made him quite irritated - and everyone knew how aggressive I can be sometimes. "Who the hell are you? At last, show your face, damn it! What do you want from all of us? What's your objective? Money? Or what? Tell me damn it! Maddy is innocent! As well as Terry, Belle and I." I felt that I was out of breath saying all of it in one breath. But I wanted to have something clear - I really wanted to know what all of this is about. Was this kidnapping something like I saw in television? No hell - this was the real thing. And maybe, I could have made him angry... Oh, damn it.

I knew sometimes I can do something without really thinking about it, it kills me now, so I thought. "Terry... buddy, what the hell do we do now?" I said then whispering quite scared, in hope the man out there didn't hear what I said and came closer to Terry and her girlfriend. If it comes to a bad situation, at least I want to protect Maddy. And I knew that Terry was thinking the same.

Jenny Delaura

Amusing, indeed. It was unbelievable how easy it was actually. With some guns and the strategy of Adolphe, even such things can be mastered. Was it really? Did they actually did it? Was the first stage of their revenge finally finished? Jenny had a cunning grin on her face. If this is being done, everything will actually begin. And she really looked forward to kicking their asses. And she meant it - literally.

Like always, she had her very tight black leather on - it showed her body. It was her hobby to make Adolphe quite a bit conscious of her being beside him. They were now fellows with the same objectives. It was quite good if he let Jenny do something too. But still, he was the boss. So well, Jenny didn't had any words in that much. But she did made that big 'Hero' - who tried to distract their attention and made the other three run away - fall, by giving him quite the hit on his head. But the most job is up to Adolphe responsibility. And somehow, Jenny felt a bit useless there.

But she won't be Jenny if that made her lose her confident. She walked inside the room quietly. It seems that her boss already greeted the teens. "How nice of you. They definitely were pleased to hear you mocking them." She said smiling sarcastically and went to his side, sitting next to him and looking to the monitor. Three of them already woke up but not the blondie. But she just had her eyes for the black haired girl - she looked at her more closely as to anyone else. And for the first time, she wondered if she did made a mistake. She side glanced Adolphe, who always had that controlled expression. It was so difficult for Jenny to read his thoughts; nearly impossible. But she respected him for that, although she didn't show it.

"Do we really have her? She looks different. Or am I just seeing things?", she finally said after long time staring at the black haired girl with a frown on her face. Then side glanced to Adolphe again, wanting to see his change of expression, even if it's just for seconds, she'd like to see it. Yes, she had her thoughts about this. Was she really her? Did we really have her? But something telling her that her eyes didn't fooled her. She just hoped that Adolphe gave her a very obvious and strong evidence that she was really her. Because she really hoped that is was the case.

Terry Barton
Feeling the violent shivers of Belle's body in my arms, I felt more than concerned. The tears streaked her cheeks, feeding my growing desire to protect her, to force whatever plagued her well-being to melt away. I hugged her body in closer.

"W-well," I felt the tremor in my voice, unable to completely conceal my fear, but I pressed on in strained composure. "We were coming back from that party, and then the van came, and then..." I swallowed. "I don't know who they are or why they're doing this, but we need to get out of here." Then I noticed her attention was drawn towards the wound on the side of my head.
"It's fine. Really! This is nothing!" I smiled reassuringly, though with a mild wince as her fingers lightly traced the bump. Redirecting the conversation back to Belle, I trained worried eyes on her visage. "Are you okay? ...Wait, did you just say that you couldn't stand?!"

It was then that a system of speakers blared throughout the room. Well, not quite "blared", but it was sudden and the relative silence prior to it enhanced the perceived audibility of the sound. Either way, it was enough to unnerve me even further, bringing me off-kilter. The harsh, deep voice that emanated from those speakers, sarcasm dripping like blood-soaked honeysuckle in his supposed concern about our well-being, immediately ticked me off. The more he said, the more rage was built up in my frame. Just as I was about to explode, another voice did it for me. I hadn't noticed Ren getting up, having been so focused on Belle, but his entrance back into the waking world caused my confidence to surge. I silently applauded his outburst in my head, pretty sure our minds were in sync. The guy said almost exactly the same type of thing I was going to! As he crept close and inquired of me what to do, however, my mind hit blanks.

"I don't know, man..." I paused for a moment, deliberating on the subject before speaking in a hushed tone. "For now... I guess we find out what this guy wants, but we'll also see if we can find a way out in the meanwhile. We don't want to make him mad though: we don't know what he's capable of. I'd be careful about searching. Far as we know, he can speak to us. He can probably hear us too, but can he see us?" My hand curled around Belle's, squeezing gently as I spoke.

"It's fine. Really! This is nothing!" Terry brushed off his injury and I frowned, seeing him wince when I brushed my fingers against it. "Terry, that must really sting!" He shook it off and tried to change the subject, "Are you okay? ...Wait, did you just say that you couldn't stand?!" I averted my eyes for a moment then brought them back to his, "Yeah, but it's not a big deal. I'm sure I'll be able to in a moment, when this stupidly killer headache goes away," I said, trying not to make a scene out of my injuries. I was used to constantly being hurt, it was just a part of my life. "Besides, if you're fine, then I'm fine!" I hmphed.

Suddenly, a loud voice boomed across the cellar, at least I think that's where we were, and I cowered into Terry. I could feel his muscles tensing with each word our captor spoke, "I hope it isn't too uncomfortable down there; we had to settle you in without much preparation time." With this last comment, I felt Terry begin to speak, but Ren beat him to it. I craned my neck around to see him on his knees yelling at the wall. Maddy was still asleep, what was taking her so long to wake up? I hope she's alright...

After Ren had finished yelling, Terry looked over at him and whispered, "For now... I guess we find out what this guy wants, but we'll also see if we can find a way out in the meanwhile. We don't want to make him mad though: we don't know what he's capable of. I'd be careful about searching. Far as we know, he can speak to us. He can probably hear us too, but can he see us?" Terry squeezed my hand gently, and I squeezed back, looking up at his alarmed face.

"He can see us," I whispered to the both of them, "I know he can. I can feel his eyes on us, like a really creepy watcher's feeling. And I remember, when they attacked us, there was another. It was a woman, I'm sure of it. They're both watching us, I just know they are." I looked up at the wall, wondering just what was in store for us, and if we would ever get out.

Adolphe Stayne

It was far too amusing, hearing the group yell back at him as he spoke over the loud speakers. The cocky looking one, the one they called Ren yelled back first, instantly demanding Adolphe tell them what he was doing and why he was holding them. Adolphe smirked and then let out a chuckle, his finger still pressed to the microphone. He was quite fiery in spirit, like his elder brother had been. Even though he seemed to enjoy it, he also hated it. How dare the high schooler stand up to him like that? Him, Adolphe Stayne. And, how dare he claim they were innocent? He knew not all of them were and so did they...or at least, so he thought. The group began to talk amongst themselves in hushed whispers and he let go of the microphone button, simply listening to the group.

He had gotten so into listening to the group that he didn't even hear Jenny enter until she spoke to him. "How nice of you. They definitely were pleased to hear you mocking them." Adolphe looked quickly over his shoulder and then turned his chair to face her as she sat beside him. He'd be lying if he said he didn't find her tight-fitting black leather attractive. Hell, Jenny was simply an attractive girl regardless of her clothing. Yet, he refused to make it evident to his "coworker" that he found her attractive. Either way, he felt too connected to his work to have anything to do with relationships.

"Oh yes, they seemed quite pleased," he replied, grinning slyly. "Seeing as how the dark haired boy responded so quickly to me...I'd say they really appreciated my concern". He harshly laughed and looked back at the monitor with her. Holding his poker face, he didn't even notice Jenny glance at him, attempting to read his stoic expression.

"Do we really have her? She looks different. Or am I just seeing things?" Adolphe's brow furrowed lightly and he looked back at her, his expression still quite blank, even though he seemed a bit surprised by her comment. "Are you questioning me? Of course that's her, I know it is. We followed her to the party, didn't we? And, in the slight chance it isn't her, it's a damn good look-a-like, isn't it?" Yet, Jenny's words disturbed him slightly, even though he didn't show it. It had been dark last night...had they messed up? No...no, they must have her. He wouldn't have made that mistake.

The girl began to speak about then and he listened intently, eyes narrowing as he watched her on the screen. She and the light-haired boy whispered to each other softly. It was obvious from how close they sat that the two were dating. How cute... he thought sarcastically. Adolphe's attention was diverted to the young girl still unconscious. That worried him slightly...the last thing they needed was a dead body so early on. He sighed and glanced at Jenny.

"Wait here, I'll be right back," he told her, standing up. Adolphe grabbed his sweatshirt from the back of his chair and pulled it on, obscuring his head from sight as he started to the door. On his way out, he snatched up a wooden baseball bat and clutched it tightly, ready to use it in case any of the kids tried to go after him.

He made his way down to the cellar where the teenagers were being held and, undoing the locks, stepped in with the bat raised. Most likely, they'd all be too disoriented and sore to get up and fight back. Regardless, he locked the door behind him and walked to the fair-haired girl, lifting her over one shoulder with the bat still lifted. He wasn't even sure why he was taking the girl out of the room or where he'd put her afterwards, but he knew he wanted her moved from the main room. Adolphe started to the door again, shooting a few glares through the dark at the teenagers, wary of them.

It was quite frightening, I have to admit. Okay - I am lying. It's damn scary. Not knowing where the hell you are, who the hell is caging you and why all of this is even happening. This was just ridicuolus. I felt something like anger coming up to me. This was just not fair. Not fair at all. I'd like to scream out: Hey! I am only in my teens! Kidnap me in my 80th or something. I hid my grin behind the lovely smelling hair of Maddy. It was good that I didn't lose my humor - though it was as terrible as before.

What Terry said as the answer of my question was as calm as ever. He sure put all the facts out and seems like still having a clear mind. But I felt that he was as unsure and scared as all we are. Who wouldn't? I pulled Maddy even closer as then I whispered: "I don't think someone who is caging us in a room with speakers doesn't have anything they could hear our voices from. For now, we better off speak quietly... or so. I hope..." Yeah, we can just hope. It was so frustating. The only thing that comforted me is that Maddy is by my side. Sure, it's better knowing she is safe at home - but I have to be honest here. I was glad that I wasn't the only one being caged. If that should be the case, I would have already been insane.

As how Belle said those words afterwards really made a shiver went through my body. How could she say something as negative as that? Sure - I understand that she is scared. Frightened. Cornered. And simply desperate. But that wasn't something someone should say; it would just cause more angst. From the start - I don't really know her much. She was just the girlfriend of Terry and the best friend of his girlfriend. Well, I guess there do is some connection, but still, her thoughts... I disliked them. I sighed inside, wanting to let go of those cruels thoughts. In such a situation, Maddy was there conforting him, making him feel lot better. And she was there - although unconsciously. But my instinct told me that there is something wrong about her not waking up for such a long time now. I would have literally shake her awake if she wouldn't sleep angelic like beside me. Her face is charming even in such a situation - okay, I corrigate myself: She is charming in every situation.

I softly touched her soft cheeks, playing with them as always. Please wake up, Maddy. I need you. - Before you're calling me crazy, I'll just explain myself. It's kind of telepathy, you know that? Well, at least, I am trying to do so. - Even crazier now, I just felt like to kiss her, comforting myself, forgetting the situation I am currently in. That thought was very alluring, but it was not something I would do. Attacking someone while asleep - that's not my style. And I thought, it was better to let her be asleep.

As then I noticed her heavy breathing. First very calm, then suddenly very heavy and strong, a frown on her forehead and her quite pale face turned to a red colour in secounds. You wouldn't believe how shocked I was. Never I saw something like that before - never I saw her like that before. It was frightening, even more then all this. "Maddy... Maddy! What's up? Speak with me!" I said half shocked, half desperate. Was this sort of a disease? Now I recall that Maddy told me something about a disease - but I couldn't remember what. "Hell Maddy, please say something to me!", I heard my own voice saying as I caress her, trying to calm her down or something, hell, I don't know why I did that. I didn't have a clue to do. "Terry... Belle... Maddy... she needs a doctor. Now." I stated as her body began to calm down a bit. But the fever remained and her unusual heavy breathing; and of course, my concern... and me knowing in what kind of situation she needed a doctor in. The chance of bringing her to a doctor is clearly very very tiny. And that thought killed me inside. Suddenly, I heard a door opening. Slowly then footsteps, as someone took Maddy forcefully from my arms. "What.. " As then I saw the bet the black man carrying. From the darkness I couldn't see his face; but all I felt for that man was hatred. My hands were still grabbing on Maddy's hand, pulling. This man was quite strong; I had quite the difficulties to hold into it. But I just had to. I just had to. "Let go of her, damn it, take me instead, but let go of Maddy!"

Jenny Delaura

"Oh yes, they seemed quite pleased, Seeing as how the dark haired boy responded so quickly to me...I'd say they really appreciated my concern" He was as sarcastic as ever. Jenny could just smile. Adolphe is good. Very good. Jenny wouldn't mind working under him a bit longer. Still, she wanted somekind of a weakness of him. It was quite frustrating to have never seen him in any times of weakness. And not being able to read his expression made Jenny quite desperate; but now, after her question, he saw a light change of expression. Jenny was so surprised that she didn't gave much attention to his words, she just heard: "... isn't it?" What she couldn't answer because she still stared at his face.

"Hmm?" She just said and followed his gaze to the girl. He was concerned. And somehow, although it concerned her also, it made her quite happy. "Wait here, I'll be right back," As then Adolphe left the room, Jenny took his seat and stared to the monitors, watching all the events commence with a slight grin. "Let's see whatcha will do, Mister Poker Face.", she said to herself as she surprisingly had to see him taking the blonde girl. Why? Jenny was confused. Then again, it was quite amusing seeing that young man, who was clearly her boyfriend trying to get her back. How sweet... Jenny could just think that while grinning sarcastically. As usual, she envied people who has a boyfriend who truly loves them. It was something that Jenny would never get. She slightly took a deep breath as she continued to see the events through the monitors.
