Gender
"Why don't you come find out for yourself?" Female

Role
"Oh please, like you haven't heard of me. I'm the slut." Girl One

Image| Markings |
"I love marking up my body and making it mine."
Piercings
When it comes to piercings, Candie doesn't have many. She's got her bellybutton pierced, as well as three earlobe piercings in each ear and one cartilage in her left ear. Other than this though, she's not a big fan of body jewelry.
Scars
While most of Candie's scars are internal, she's definitely got several external scars as well. Her left hand has a scar slicing through it from making a lunge for a knife to protect herself from her father and accidentally grabbing it by the blade. Along the left side of her ribs, she's also got scarring from a car crash she was in with her mother. She's got a small scar sitting just under her jaw, from her father as well as another, just under the tattoo on her upper thigh, from the same person. Every scar holds its own set of painful memories for Candie and, as such, she does her best to hide them any way she can, because she doesn't want anyone asking about them and she doesn't want to have to see them herself and remember where they came from.
Tattoos
When it comes to tattoos, Candie has several, most of which she got from a tattoo artist she was sleeping with for a while. Her first, is a small tiger sitting on her middle finger. Tattooed on the edge of her right arm, as in the picture to the left, is the word "Joy". She's also got a black crecent on the inside of her left wrist. Her fourth tattoo runs up the inside of her right arm, reading "Flowers only last so long." Wrapping around her upper thigh, she has the words "Appetite for destruction." Resting on top of her collarbone, she has one that reads "I'm a mess, I confess.". Her seventh tattoo is on the inside of her right hand, on her palm, lyrics from the song Hemorrhage reading "Don't fall away and leave love bleeding in my hands". Right on her pantyline, she has the words "Fuck off." Tattooed. Finally, she's also got the words "I will conquer." tattooed on the back of her neck, under her hair. All this makes for a total of nine tattoos, all of which she loves and are deeply personal to her.

Fears
"Fear is like love. It doesn't exist unless you let it."
ā˜  Losing Donnie āž› Her brother Donnie means the world to her. He's the only person in the world who knows everything about her and she honestly couldn't imagine life without him. He's her safe place to land when shit hits the fan. Without him, she'd fall apart.
ā˜  Being alone āž› Candie hates being alone. To her, nothing is more insufferable than loneliness. She honestly doesn't care who she's with, it could be some random person off the street, she doesn't care, anything is better than sheer loneliness.
ā˜  Being forgotten āž› As the bitchy queen-bee type, Candie has a fear of being forgotten or over looked. She's always got to turn heads, hold everyone's attention. She's not so vain as to want everyone to love her, she just wants everyone to notice her, weather it's with hate, jealousy, or admiration doesn't matter, as long as all eyes are on her, she's happy.

Personality
"When a girl is born pretty, she figures out pretty early that love is nothing but a sick, fucked up game and if she doesn't learn to cheat, she'll lose." Candie, on the outside, is probably the most confident person you'll ever meet in your life. She's the kind of girl you either hate or love, there's no inbetween, but the thing is, she doesn't care. All she wants is your attention and by taking the time to hate her, you've given her it. Guys want to fuck her, girls are jealous of her.

She's the queen bee. If she's not on top, she'll find a way to get there, no matter who she has to hurt. This paints her with a bad reputation in her school and community. She's the slut of the school, sleeping with both boys and girls alike, not caring who spreads wild rumors about her and making no moves to stop them once they start because most of them are true. Her wild, random affairs have earned her the nickname Kinky-Candie. Of course, unless they have a death wish, no one dares say this to her face, but everyone knows her by it.

Candie is not only infamous for being easy, but a bitch as well. She can cut you down with just a mere glance and moves with an intimidating confidence that's nearly impossible not to envy. The thing about Candie is that she's manipulative. She knows how to get what she wants when she wants it. She's got the world wrapped around her finger and intends to keep it that way. She craves power and control, loving having an influence over others, being able to push people around.

Candie can completely destroy you, all she has to do is whisper a few words to the right people, and suddenly, your entire life has turned on it's head. She does this almost carelessly, liking to play with people's hearts, push their buttons, and test their emotions. This makes her seem heartless, like she enjoys hurting people, when the reality is, she's just fucked up.

Any love she's ever really received in her life has been twisted and wrong and it's broken her beyond repair. To the point where she can't love. She prefers to fuck around and hurt people before they hurt her, keeping an ever-composed face on as she ruins people's lives and breaks their hearts, pretending she doesn't give a shit about anyone. In reality though, every boy she lets use her for sex destroys her a little more, making her hate herself that much more.

No one ever sees this though. No one but Donnie really knows that she's a bitch because she's been broken and if they do know, Donnie's the only one who really understands just how badly she's been wounded and this is only because he's been by her side through it all. He knows all the dark places she's been, making him the only person impossible to fool, because she's an expert liar. Looking at her, one would ever even guess that she's been broken and taped back together so many times that she's finally given up. There's nothing she can't make you believe. It's her most important game, making the world think she's strong.

History
"Sure, I've been loved, but in all the wrong ways." Candie has a fairly dark past that she carries with her every day of her life. It's the reason she is the way she is, the reason she craves attention, searching for love in all the wrong places and destroying it every time she comes a little too close, afraid it'll destroy her.

Financially, Candie's family has always been stable. Her father was a doctor, her mother a lawyer. Her and her twin brother Donnie never wanted for anything, they were given anything they desired and more. Life, for the Carmelo children, should have been perfect.

But it was far from that. Their mother was fairly distant. Sure, she bought them whatever they wanted, but she rarely spent more than an hour a day with them, preferring to spend any free time she had with their father, almost completely ignoring her children, leaving them to be raised by nannies.

At the same time, their father was a little too interested in Candie. From a young age, he raped and molested her, always leaving her feeling like it was somehow her fault for being too pretty. This went on for years with no one noticing and Candie making weak attempts to protect herself, but keeping it a secret because she was terrified of what might happen if she told someone.

Not even Donnie knew what was going on until she was fifteen and made another attempt at self-defense. This time, she reached for a knife, accidentally grabbing it by the blade in her frantic efforts to get a hold of it, and turning it on her father. His scream of pain as she stabbed him in the thigh was what brought Donnie and her mother running into the room and the truth from her lips.

After that, her father went to prison and things changed drastically in their household. Their mother was still distant, but she was no longer the same, confident, driven woman she'd been with their father. She fell into a deep depression at finding out what the man she'd loved had done to Candie and what was worse, was that she made sure Candie knew she blamed her for it.

Their mother lost her job and started drinking a lot, bringing home random boyfriends, most of which took the same kind of interest in Candie her father had, cornering her and raping her. Now, even being in the same room as her mother is painful because not a second goes by where she stops glaring at her, making it clear that she hates her for ruining their family and her mother's boyfriends still violate her. Only this time, she tells no one, not even Donnie because the last time she told the truth, it completely destroyed their family. Instead, she let's it happen because she's terrified of being the cause of another disaster.

In order to avoid running into her mother or one of her boyfriends, Candie spends a lot of time away from home, partying all night or spending the night at the houses of random guys, fucking around because that's all she feels like she's good for anymore is sex, but she can't avoid home all the time. Donnie still needs her to come home sometimes, and he's so good at reading her, she's afraid, if she stays away too long, he'll put the pieces together and figure out what's been going on.

Her promiscuous reputation has gotten so bad that she's even started fucking her life long bestfriend's boyfriend behind her back, just because she can.

Carmen
Lana Del Rey
Darling, darling, doesn't have a problem
Lying to herself 'cause her liquor's top shelf
It's alarming honestly how charming she can be
Fooling everyone, telling them she's having fun

She says, "You don't want to be like me
Don't wanna see all the things I've seen."
I'm dying, I'm dying
She says, "You don't want to get this way
Famous and dumb at an early age."
Lying, Iā€™m lying

The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen
She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes
She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond
Audio tune lies, she's still shining
Like lightning, ohh, white lightning

Carmen, Carmen, staying up til morning
Only seventeen, but she walks the streets so mean
It's alarming truly how disarming you can be
Eating soft ice cream
Coney Island Queen

She says, "You don't want to be like me
Looking for fun, getting high for free."
I'm dying, I'm dying
She says, "You don't want to get this way
Street walk at night, and a star by day."
It's tiring, tiring

The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen
She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes
She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond
Audio tune lies, she's still shining
Like lightning, ohh, white lightning

Baby's all dressed up with nowhere to go
That's the little story of the girl you know
Relying on the kindness of strangers
Tying cherry knots, smiling, doing party favors
Put your red dress on, put your lipstick on
Sing your song, song, now the camera's on
And you're alive again

Mon amour, je sais que tu m'aimes aussi
Tu as besoin de moi
Tu as besoin de moi dans ta vie
Tu ne peux plus vivre sans moi
Et je mourrais sans toi
Je tuerais pour toi
[English translation:
My love, I know you love me, too
You need me,
You need me in your life,
You can not live without me,
And I'd die without you,
I would kill for you]

The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen
She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes
She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond
Audio tune lies, she's still shining
Like lightning, ohh, white lightning

Like lightning, ohh, white lightning

Darling, darling, doesn't have a problem
Lying to herself 'cause her liquor's top shelf

Semi-Automatic
Twenty-One Pilots
Night falls, with gravity.
The earth turns, from sanity
Taking my only friend I know,
He leaves a lot, his name is "Hope".

I'm never what I like
I'm double-sided.
And I just can't hide
I kinda like it
When I make you cry
Cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up, inside.

The horrors of the night melt away
Under the warm glow of survival of the day
Then we move on,
My shadow grows taller along with my fears
And my friends shrink smaller as night grows near

When the sun is climbing window sills
And the silver lining rides the hills
I will be saved for one whole day
Until the sun make the hills it's grave

I'm never what I like
I'm double-sided.
And I just can't hide
I kinda like it
When I make you cry
Cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up, inside.

I'm never what I like
I'm double-sided.
And I just can't hide
I kinda like it
When I make you cry
Cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up, inside my mind.

I'm semi-automatic,
My prayer's schizophrenic
But I'll live on, yeah I'll live on, yeah I'll live on
[x4]

By the time the night wears off,
The dust is down and shadows burn
I will rise and stand my ground,
Waiting for the night's return.

I'm never what I like
I'm double-sided.
And I just can't hide
I kinda like it
When I make you cry
Cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up, inside.

I'm never what I like
I'm double-sided.
And I just can't hide
I kinda like it
When I make you cry
Cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up, inside my mind.

Candie knew she was stupid not to push him off. Reed loved her and she loved him. Even when he tied her up and fucked her so roughly it left bruises, he loved her. Kaleb, on the other hand, didn't love her at all. Hell, he'd even told her once that he didn't really like her much. She was nothing but sex to him. A slut he could use when the girl he really wanted, Nena, started to bore him with her mediocre bedroom skills.

Still, she didn't push him off because she didn't have it in her to fight him. She was too high to focus on anything other than how good his touch felt or the things he was whispering in her ear to get her worked up. She was too distracted by him to think about the fact that they really weren't that far away from the party and Lux could find them any second.

ā€œAre you fucking serious?ā€ Lux's voice startled her, and she felt Kaleb's body tense behind her, like he was prepared to fight him if he had to. Her stomach dropped and suddenly she was ripped back to reality. Suddenly, she remembered that she had a boyfriend and Kaleb wasn't him. Shit. Lux had caught her and what was worse was that it was Kaleb.

Now he'd think nothing had changed. She was still just playing games and toying with his heart, fucking around behind his back. He'd probably assume she'd never even stopped seeing Kaleb and there was nothing she could say that would prove she wasn't. Besides, even though she hadn't been fucking Kaleb until that night and she could blame it on the drugs, she'd still been fucking Dimitri. Kaleb was right, she was a fucking terrible girlfriend.

Reed's shocked question was all that was said though before she heard him walking away and Candie felt like shit. As if reading her mind, Kaleb yanked her arms harder behind her back and pushed her body tighter against the tree, making her groan. Despite how right he was holding her, Candie somehow managed to push him off, pulling her panties back up before taking off in the direction Reed had gone. "Reed, wait!" She called after him, hoping he could hear her, knowing going after him would probably cause a fight. Still, it was better than letting him walk away. If he walked away, he might not come back and that scared her. She couldn't lose him.

Collin stood and Donnie watched as Tansy stood as well, his whole body tensing, ready to dodge a punch if he had to, knowing Colin was fucked up and he'd be pissed. ā€œWhy the fuck would you assume sheā€™s not okay?ā€ Collin spat bitterly and Donnie scoffed. ā€œYou know Donnie you have some fucking nerve.ā€ He threatened and Don just rolled his eyes.

ā€œCollin enough.ā€ Tansy spat, stepping between them, making him raise his eyebrows. Usually she'd be all for a fight. ā€œDon go, Iā€™ll be right behind you please. Fights only going to make things worse.ā€ She breathed and Donnie sighed and shook his head, eyes on Colin.

"Maybe I should remind both of you that you, Colin, put Tansy in the hospital, among other things." He spat bitterly. "I think it's pretty safe for me to worry about her when she's around you Colin, which is why I'm not leaving you here with him Tans." He shrugged simply, making it clear he wasn't going anywhere. "I'm not leaving unless you come with me babe." He said, eyes on Colin. He really didn't want to fight him, but he would if he had to because there was no way in hell he was just going to walk away and leave her there with him.

"Maybe I should remind both of you that you, Colin, put Tansy in the hospital, among other things." He spat bitterly and Tansy had to admit it hurt that he was bringing up shit like that, sheā€™d tried to forget that night, but she knew why he was doing it. "I think it's pretty safe for me to worry about her when she's around you Colin, which is why I'm not leaving you here with him Tans." Tansy still had turned to face him but she could tell by his voice that he wasnā€™t leaving. "I'm not leaving unless you come with me babe."

Tansy had a tendency to get really defensive when people brought up the past and she knew thatā€™s not how Donnie had meant it, but it still hurt. Back then it had been both their faults in all honesty, not that Collin had a right to go that far and as far as she could remember that was the one time he wasnā€™t there for her because he had his head so far up Nenaā€™s ass, the same way she couldnā€™t be without Collin and the more his words settled the more irritated she got with him. She turned then closing the distance between them and she knew her words would be cruel, but she didnā€™t really give a shit. Being around Collin always turned her into a super bitch high or not.

ā€œFuck you.ā€ She hissed shoving him. ā€œDonā€™t act like you know what happened that night because you werenā€™t even there.ā€ She shrugged. ā€œYou found out from my brother. So donā€™t throw that back in his face and donā€™t bring it up again.ā€ She glared at him.

ā€œYouā€™d put her in the hospital to.ā€ Collin added from behind her and she was suddenly aware of how close he was, like he was protecting her. ā€œDonā€™t act like your so much better than me Dontae.ā€ Tansy kept her eyes on Donnie. ā€œYou saw what he did to me, donā€™t think for one second if his temper got out of hand, he would take it out on you babe.ā€ Collin breathed.

He pushed off the tree whipping the blood from his mouth as he continued back towards the party. He was so fucking down with them. He could have gotten over her and some other guy, he couldnā€™t get over her and his best friend, whether theyā€™d been fucking for the last four months or not didnā€™t matter because it still hurt like hell. He was exhausted with his life, he was sick, and for all he knew he was dying. He wasnā€™t sure sheā€™d care that much if she found out in the first place. He could hear her calling after him, but he didnā€™t stop because he didnā€™t want to hurt her, he was scared he loose it on her in front of everyone and end up really hurting her.

He pushed his way through people making his way over to the car. Someone grabbed his arm and when he turned to face them it was Baylee. Still distraught, yet the second she saw him she realized something was wrong although over the deafening sound of the music he couldnā€™t hear what she was saying, he assumed however she was just asking him what was wrong, he slipped out of her grip fairly easily and continued towards the car.

He was a fucking idiot to think he could actually have a girl like Candie. He was honestly more upset with himself then with her. He was upset at the fact that he thought they were happy and that he thought she actually loved him. Heā€™d done absolutely everything to stay faithful to her and fuel both of their daily drug habits. He was well aware that Kaleb didnā€™t love her, hell most guys she was with didnā€™t love her, but he did and it hurt that she knew he loved her and she was willing to throw that all away because she was bored with them.

He wasnā€™t stupid he knew Candace way to well, she was bored of them. He was a working stiff and he wasnā€™t as fun or reckless as he used to be because he actually had responsibilities and she wasnā€™t ready for that. She still wanted to fuck around and be careless. Finally heā€™d managed to get to the car fully intent on leaving her there and going home and getting fucked up till blacked out or didnā€™t wake up at all.

Candie felt like complete shit. She should just let him leave. She'd fucked shit up too much to be fixed and she knew finding him would only result in a nasty fight but she couldn't let him walk away. She loved him too much to lose him. If she lost him, she'd fall apart completely because she hated who she'd been before him. She couldn't go back to being that girl. The school slut who let everyone use her so much she had no self-worth whatsoever.

He didn't answer her and she knew he was ignoring her but Candie followed anyway, walking quickly through the forest back towards the car they'd taken, knowing he had to go there eventually if he wasn't already. She found him there, about to leave and walked quickly up behind him, spinning him to face her. "Don't leave me Reed, please." She begged, eyes on his.

Candie leaned up on her toes and kissed his lips. "I need you, please." She breathed against them, knowing he was pissed and he was bound to start screaming at her any second, saying things that would piss her off and make her fight back, but she didn't care. Even if they were fighting, at least he was with her and she didn't have to be afraid that she'd just lost him for good. "I'm trying Reed. I'm not used to relationships, love, and trust." She mumbled, knowing it was a weak excuse for fucking his best friend again but it was the only one she had.

Donnie could tell just by looking at her he'd pissed her off and sighed, frustrated, knowing she was going to take Colin's side. ā€œFuck you.ā€ She spat and shoved him, causing him to take a step back, rolling his eyes. ā€œDonā€™t act like you know what happened that night because you werenā€™t even there.ā€ She shrugged and his jaw clenched.

The details were irrelevant. The fact was, he'd put her in the hospital. Not to mention all the other shit he'd done to her over the years, like when he'd picked her up from the police station and she told him Colin had shot her up and nearly made her O.D. ā€œYou found out from my brother. So donā€™t throw that back in his face and donā€™t bring it up again.ā€ She glared at him.

ā€œYouā€™d put her in the hospital to. Donā€™t act like your so much better than me Dontae.ā€ He spat and Donnie just scoffed. ā€œYou saw what he did to me, donā€™t think for one second if his temper got out of hand, he would take it out on you babe.ā€ Collin breathed and Donnie raised his eyebrows.

"How the fuck did I become the bad guy?" He spat, glaring at Tansy. "Whatever Tans, you and I both know I'm better than him. I've been taking care of you, cleaning up the mess he's made of you for years now." He hissed, eyes flicking to Colin. "But if you still want him, I'm tired of this shit, do what you want, you know you'll only feel like shit once the high wears off." He shrugged and turned, walking away from them, tired of having to fight for her love when he was the one who treated her like she mattered.

"How the fuck did I become the bad guy?" Donnie glared at her and even in the darkness she could feel the burn of his eyes and it made her shiver. "Whatever Tans, you and I both know I'm better than him. I've been taking care of you, cleaning up the mess he's made of you for years now." he hissed and Tansy wasnā€™t entirely sure why the fuck everything had flipped on Donnie, all she knew was she wasnā€™t even high but she was confused as fuck. "But if you still want him, I'm tired of this shit, do what you want, you know you'll only feel like shit once the high wears off."

She couldnā€™t watch him walk away, for the first time in a long time she felt completely out of control. Normally she was the one in control, everyone else was merely a puppet. Yet like always Collin had managed to get in her head and make her believe something that wasnā€™t true. She couldnā€™t breathe watching him walk away it was like being choked. She started after him only Collin caught her arm and she called out for Donnie, but her voice was muffled by Collinā€™s hand coming down over her mouth.

He spun her around to face him and he raised a brow as he whipped tears from her cheeks. ā€œYou can cry?ā€ he smirked wickedly, before pressing his lips to hers and slipping her some kind of drug. She tried to pull away to spit it out, but he refused to let her go until she swallowed it. She felt the effect almost instantly, she knew then it was something strong.

ā€œYou canā€™t keep me druggedā€¦ā€ she breathed having a hard time focusing. ā€œCollin what the hell did you give me.ā€ She said placing her palm against her head. He didnā€™t answer her though just grabbed her arm and lead her back towards the party. Finally he stopped at the edge of the party, where they stood sat up a little higher from the party so you could see everything. Collin wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.

ā€œLooks like it didnā€™t take him to long to move on.ā€ Collin whispered as his lips moved upper her neck and it wasnā€™t long before she spotted Lauren and Nena talking to Donnie, Nena flirtatiously running a hand along Donnieā€™s arm. Tansy couldnā€™t help the tears that fell, because she still had her brotherā€™s words from earlier in the back of her head. ā€œDonā€™t cry baby.ā€ Collin breathed against her skin. ā€œWe should celebrate us being together again.ā€ He smirked against her skin. Tansy shook her head, but she couldnā€™t get any words to come out and the drugs made her to submissive to fight back.

He felt her grab his arm. The electric spark between them was undeniable. It would always be there and he hated that she wasnā€™t like other girls, he couldnā€™t just forget her like he wanted to. When she spun him to face her, he couldnā€™t meet her eyes it was too painful, he had to look past her, he had to focus on something else entirely, like how heā€™d spotted Kaleb looking for Candie and that only pissed him off. Candie had said something, but he hadnā€™t really heard her.

She lend up placing her lips to his and that when his attention was pulled back to her, but he didnā€™t kiss back. "I need you, please." she breathed against his lips and he rolled his eyes only getting more pissed off. "I'm trying Reed. I'm not used to relationships, love, and trust." she spoke against his lips and he pushed her back into the car parked next to his a little harder then he meant to.

If heā€™d have been a little more sober, he might have chosen to take their discussion home, but he honestly didnā€™t care. Sheā€™d humiliated him, several people had seen her go off with Kaleb knowing full well she was Luxā€™s girlfriend, but that didnā€™t seem to phase her. He knew his words would be harsh, this time though he doubted their argument would end in hot, kinky make-up sexy it wasnā€™t one of their lets-just-fight-because-were-bored fights. It was real and it was raw.

ā€œYeah? Did you need me while you were fucking my best friend?ā€ he spat harshly taking a threatening step forward, it was clear that he wasnā€™t just anger he was hurt, which was rare, he wasnā€™t entirely sure any of his friend had ever actually seen him genuinely hurt and upset the way he was. ā€œDo you need me when you fucking every other guy?ā€ His jaw clenched. ā€œIā€™m sorry I canā€™t be Kaleb, because Iā€™m actually trying to take care of you babe.ā€ He spat. ā€œItā€™s nice that youā€™re trying Candie, but stop lying to yourself. You donā€™t want us. You want to fuck around, you want the world wrapped around you finger and I canā€™t give that to you.ā€ He said taking a step back because he could feel temper getting out of control and he didnā€™t want to hurt her.

ā€œAll I am is a fucking bore to you babe and all your love is ever going to be is a lie.ā€ He shrugged. ā€œBut, before you get the chance to break my heart, let me do you the honors. Weā€™re fucking over.ā€

Candie could tell she'd lost him before he even spoke and it honestly broke her heart. He hadn't kissed her back and he wasn't looking her in the eye. She hadn't just pissed him off this time, she'd hurt him badly and she felt like shit. Why was she always fucking up the good things in her life? What the hell was wrong with her?

He shoved her away hard and Candie's back slammed into the car behind her roughly, rattling her a little. If she hadn't been quick to catch the door handle and pull herself to her feet, she'd have slid to the ground. ā€œYeah? Did you need me while you were fucking my best friend?ā€ He spat and she winced, looking away because she couldn't stand the clear pain and hatred in his eyes, but she didn't move as he took a step towards her threateningly, knowing if he hit her, she deserved it. ā€œDo you need me when you're fucking every other guy?ā€ He continued, making her stomach sink, reminding her of Dimitri.

"Iā€™m sorry I canā€™t be Kaleb, because Iā€™m actually trying to take care of you babe.ā€ He spat and she couldn't help but wince again because he was right. He took care of her. He let her live with him so she didn't have to deal with Craig or her mother anymore, he made her feel important, he told her he loved her, and she gave nothing back. She trashed the house getting high and fucking someone else. She didn't deserve him.

ā€œItā€™s nice that youā€™re trying Candie, but stop lying to yourself. You donā€™t want us. You want to fuck around, you want the world wrapped around you finger and I canā€™t give that to you. All I am is a fucking bore to you babe and all your love is ever going to be is a lie.ā€ He shrugged as he took a step away from her and that hurt like hell. She knew she'd betrayed him and taken his live for granted, but her love wasn't a lie. She wasn't entirely sure she could function without him anymore. He made her feel normal and whole, and now that she knew what that felt like, the thought of going back to being used and broken was terrifying. ā€œBut, before you get the chance to break my heart, let me do you the honors. Weā€™re fucking over.ā€ He spat and her heart twisted when she heard him say that.

Candie finally glanced up, spotting Kaleb, lurking at a safe distance, with a smirk on his face, pretending to be interested in some girl when when she knew he'd heard every word. She didn't even realize she had tears running down her face until that moment because her vision blurred a moment before she blinked them away and turned her eyes back to Reed. She rarely cried or begged anyone for anything. Normally, she'd fight him because she was high and that made her vindictive and cruel, but the thought of actually losing him cut through the fog in her head and made everything so real it hurt.

The thought that she'd just lost him was horrifying. It felt like someone was choking her so tight, she was suffocating to death, and she knew that meant she was on the verge of a total mental breakdown and panic attack. "Don't say that." She finally managed to breathe, voice thick with tears as she took a step closer to him, knowing he wasn't going to listen to her and she deserved anything he said or did, but unable to comprehend that he'd just broken up with her.

"I'm sorry Reed, please don't leave me baby, I can't live without you." She begged, tone desperate as she closed the space between them and placed her hands on the side of his face, making him look her in the eye. "I love you, you know I do, it's not a lie and I know I not deserve you for a second, but I really do need you." She said, holding his eyes, trying to keep herself from sounding like she was ready to fall apart but it was hard. She felt more vulnerable than she ever had in her life.

Donnie felt like crap walking away from her. His instinct was to take care of people, especially Tansy and Candie, and he knew what he was doing was basically abandoning her. He should drag her away with him and deal with the short-but-nasty fight they'd have because the sooner they fought, the sooner they could get over it.

Having her pissed at him the rest if the night was better than leaving her in Collin's hands. Collin would hurt her, use her, manipulate her, and make her feel like shit. He'd whisper things in her ear he'd spent months trying to get out of her head, making her doubt him a and everyone around her so that she felt like the only person she was sure of was Collin. He might not physically hurt her yet, seeing as he was being careful so he could win her over, but he'd get inside her head and that would do more than enough damage.

He shouldn't really be leaving her with him, but he couldn't help it. He loved her so much he'd managed to resist Nena every time she tried to get him back and it was painful knowing Tansy still couldn't resist Collin. What she'd said to him earlier after questioning him about Nena and what had just happened in the woods were proof enough of that. She'd flat out told him she would sleep with Collin behind his back and she'd only been alone with him a few moments in the woods before he'd managed to turn her completely against him.

It just felt impossible to compete with Collin and honestly, it was exhausting. What was the point in loving her if she didn't love him enough to resist him? He was tired of fighting with her, of worrying about her when she disappeared for days, and of the games she played to make him jealous. He felt like he was giving everything to her and he was only getting maybe half back. He wasn't exactly giving up, but he wanted to see some effort from her. If she didn't care enough to tell Collin to fuck off, then he couldn't be with her anymore.

Any of the other assholes she'd been fucking around with, he could handle because he knew they didn't mean shit to her, they were just pawns in her never-ending game of pissing him off, but Collin was different. She'd loved Colin once. If she started hooking up with him, it wouldn't just be a one-time thing to make him mad and start a fight that ended in rough sex. It'd be an affair and that was something else entirely. He couldn't be with her if he couldn't have all of her.

So, despite how badly he wanted to turn around and go back to her, he kept walking, heading back down to the party to drink away his problems. After a while of drinking, he'd ended up on the couch, Nena on one side of him, Lauren on the other, boxing him in and making him feel a little trapped knowing Nena was only there because she couldn't find Kaleb and Lauren was only there because Tansy wasn't around. He didn't respond to their words or flirtatious touches much as he drank a beer and watched the dancers, but didn't tell them to fuck off simply because their company was better than just sitting there alone.

It was incredible how quickly Collin could make her believe something, it was because heā€™d spent so much time destroying her that it was easy to get her right back into that state of mind. He laced his fingers with hers and this time she followed without arguing as he pushed through the crowd of people. Everyone around her looked more like a blur to her though. Another part of Collinā€™s game was keeping her high to the point that she couldnā€™t think for herself.

Before Tansy knew it Collin was grinding behind her and she was making out with some girl. Collinā€™s hands were all over her and a part of her hoped that Donnie wasnā€™t around to see how much of a skank she looked like. Sure that was something she used to do all the time, but after spending the last four months with Donnie, something about it just didnā€™t feel right. She managed to push the other girl away as she started coming down from whatever Collin had given her and she slipped away from Collin quickly, hoping she could find Donnie. There was a part of her that was worries heā€™d hooked up with Nena and sheā€™d completely deserve it if he had.

She hated herself, Donnie was all she could think about and how much sheā€™d hurt him to push him to the point of leaving her with Collin. The more she thought about not waking up next to Donnie the more desperate she became to find him, because she was just realizing for the first time how much she actually needed him and how lost she felt without him. Finally she found him still on the couch with Nena and Lauren only he looked more fucked up then when heā€™d left her and she suddenly wished she was just as fucked up. Lauren stood up in front of Donnie like she was his girlfriend and she was trying to protect him from the sad little slut whoā€™d fallen in love.

ā€œFuck off Tans. I think youā€™ve done enough damage.ā€ She smirked. ā€œI mean itā€™s not enough for you to play one guy but you have to play two, why is that.ā€ She spat harshly and Tansy rolled her eyes, moving to push her out of the way only Lauren reacted quicker then she could slapping her in the face which completely shocked Tansy.

ā€œLauren, what the hell?ā€ Tansy breath, choking back tears. ā€œDonnie?ā€ she glanced to him wondering why the hell he was still just sitting there like he didnā€™t know here. ā€œListen Iā€™m sorry.ā€ She practically begged.

ā€œAww, are you?ā€ Nena pouted cruelly standing up next Lauren. ā€œWhy donā€™t you do us all a favor and kill yourself.ā€ Nena smirked. Tansy couldnā€™t say she didnā€™t deserve their harsh treatment, sheā€™d done some pretty awful things to both of them over the years, not to mention how sheā€™d turned on Baylee earlier and honestly their words didnā€™t even hurt that much because she couldnā€™t give a shit about either of them, she only wanted to talk to Donnie before Collin caught back up with her.

He wanted to forgive her. He wanted it to be simple, for her to say she was sorry and for them to go home and fuck until they passed out. He wanted to wake up in the morning next to her and everything would just be a bad memory. This time though he couldnā€™t. It would have been easy for him to forgive her if it would have been anyone else, but her and him and Kaleb, they had history. He knew that deep down somewhere she had to love him, at least he wanted to believe that, but he didnā€™t honestly know if sheā€™d ever really let the part of her take over completely and he wasnā€™t going to go in circles with her.

"Don't say that." she finally breathed and the pain and anxiety was so thick in her voice that he wanted to make it go away and tell her heā€™d forget it, because he hated seeing her hurt and it took everything in him "I'm sorry Reed, please don't leave me baby, I can't live without you." she begged and he knew then she was desperate for him to stay. He had to look away because it was killing him to see her like that. She placed a hand on either side of his face forcing him to look at her and he held her eyes this time. "I love you, you know I do, it's not a lie and I know I not deserve you for a second, but I really do need you."

He could tell a lot of things just by looking into Candieā€™s eyes. Heā€™d spent so many years studying her, trying to figure her out, just like the rest of the guys in their group. She wasnā€™t like other girls, she was a different breed entirely and that why no one could ever figure her out. Heā€™d thought heā€™d won the lottery when heā€™d finally figured her out. The day he was able to read her like an open book was the day he fell in love with her, because he knew there was more to her then just the school slut. Now, in her eyes for the first time ever he could see the desperation and the refusal to acknowledge that they were over.

He also knew that he couldnā€™t fully blame her for them falling apart. He rarely told her anything anymore. He didnā€™t exactly lie, but he wasnā€™t exactly open and willing to talk. He guessed that getting sick and his dangerous addictions had closed him off to her even more and that wasnā€™t hurt fault. Theyā€™d both really let each other down and heā€™d reached the breaking point before she had. He just couldnā€™t find it in himself to fix them again, he knew if he let her go heā€™d officially be alone. Her and Tansy would probably patch things up, sheā€™d got back to Kaleb and Kaleb would still hate him. Lauren and Baylee would go back to being Tansy and Candieā€™s sidekicks and heā€™d be alone. But even then he couldnā€™t really find a reason to say, because although Candie was begging him to stay and even if she really loved him, she still didnā€™t want to be held down it wasnā€™t who she was.
ā€œListen Babe, I know you love me.ā€ He finally breathed, grabbing her wrists and pulling them away from her face. ā€œBut, if itā€™s taken loosing me to realize how much you need me, then maybe loosing me is what you need.ā€ His tone was calm. Surprisingly even himself, his voice wasnā€™t bitter or harsh it was more of a matter of fact statement.

He lend in pressing his lips to hers hard, everything about the kiss was electric and made his heart race and the simple fact that he may never feel that way again was frustrating, but he also knew if breaking up was the only way to get through to her then it was what he had to do no matter how badly he wanted to tell her to get in the car and drive her home.

ā€œI love you too Candie, but I donā€™t think I can forgive you. Iā€™ve given you a million chances babe.ā€ He breathed against her lips. ā€œIā€™m exhausted.ā€ He shrugged letting her go before slipping into the car.

ā€œListen Babe, I know you love me.ā€ He breathed after a while of agonizing silence and Candie held her breath like she was bracing herself for a smack in the face because she could tell, just by the tone if his voice, what was coming next. ā€œBut, if itā€™s taken losing me to realize how much you need me, then maybe losing me is what you need.ā€ His said as he grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands from his face. Her whole body felt weak and she wasn't sure what to do. She was torn between begging more and falling apart, not sure if she should pretend she couldn't believe what was happening or accept that this was real. They were over.

Before she'd made her choice, he kissed her. It was hard and set her body on fire, but it was also the most painful of her life because it was a goodbye. She might not ever feel that fire again and that alone was devastating. Still, she couldn't bring herself to break away. She wanted the moment to last as long as possible because, even though it was torturous, what came next would be worse then hell itself because she'd have to deal with the fact that he was gone. She'd pushed him too far, fucked up too bad, and he'd finally had enough.

ā€œI love you too Candie, but I donā€™t think I can forgive you. Iā€™ve given you a million chances babe.ā€ He breathed against her lips and she wanted him to stop because every word he said was like a knife in the heart. ā€œIā€™m exhausted.ā€ He said before he let go of her and got in the car. Suddenly, without his body near hers, even though the night was warm, she felt like pure ice, frozen right down to her bones.

It was the kind of ice she knew only he could thaw because she'd felt it before she'd fallen in love with him and he'd managed to set her so completely on fire that it had all melted away, but now it was back, coating her heart in a layer of frost so thick, she became numb. It was how she got through painful shit, turning everything off and making herself numb to it, until she was just bitchy, cold, and manipulative.

She took a step back from the car, eyes on him, trying not to fall apart because Kaleb was still eavesdropping and she knew, if he saw how much pain she was in, he'd swoop in like a vulture and try to "make her feel better", pretending to care when all he really wanted was to get her out of her panties. In her head, she was screaming at herself to stop him, making him stay, but she couldn't. If she said another word, she'd crumble.

So instead, before she had to stand there and watch him drive away, she turned and left, walking back towards the party, pushing through people numbly, hoping she could find Donnie before Kaleb found her. She'd been pissed at Donnie, but now she just needed someone who understood her. She needed someone to take care of her for a little while, and Tansy would probably just be smug about the fact that it hadn't worked out between them so she was left with Donnie, but she needed to find him fast. First of all, so Kaleb couldn't corner her again, second of all, so he could take her home to wallow there before she really fell apart in front of everyone.

Donnie sat with them a while longer, drinking and shooting up a couple of times, trying to ignore what he could see of Tansy, grinding all over Collin on the dance floor. Both Nena and Lauren asked what was wrong about a thousand times, pretending to care when he knew they were just eager to hear that her finally broken it off with Tansy. He refused to tell them more than once, but eventually he did because he was too drunk to care.

Lauren fawned over him like he'd expected her to because she was the sweet on of the group who really cared about everyone, especially him, while Nena tried to "console" him. It was irritating as fuck to be honest. He tried not to be too pissed at Lauren. After all, he knew she really did like him and cared about his pain, but he knew she was secretly glad him and Tansy might not last. Then there was Nena who he was just fed up with because it was clear she didn't really give a shit. She only ever came to him when Kaleb ignored her or bored her so she just kept trying to seduce him and he'd had to push her off at least ten times.

Eventually though, Tansy came over and he was honestly glad, but before he could say anything, Lauren stood and he rolled his eyes and took a drink of the half empty beer in his hand, watching as her and Tansy argued and Lauren slapped Tansy, surprising pretty much everyone. Lauren was pretty much a pacifist, he wasn't sure he'd ever seen her really fight someone, and if she was going to pick someone, Tansy was not a good choice. Tansy was a fighter. She'd kick her ass in less then a second.

ā€œListen Iā€™m sorry.ā€ Tansy practically begged and Donnie's jaw literally dropped when Nena retaliated by telling her to kill herself. Lauren's face went white and Donnie rolled his eyes. Lauren had been in the hospital at one point for attempting suicide. Sometimes Nena was such an inconsiderate bitch, it was actually appalling, the cruel things that could come out of her mouth.

"Alright, put the fucking claws away ladies." Donnie rolled his eyes as he stood, pushing both Nena and Lauren out of his way so he could look at Tansy. "What's going on between me and Tans isn't your god damned business. Either of you." He spat, raising his eyebrows, glancing between the girls. "Lauren, I appreciate the help, but I don't need you to protect me or fight my battles for me. Nena, if I ever hear that shit come out of your mouth again, I'll slap it right off your fucking face alright?" He hissed, glaring at her. "I don't care if Tansy burned down a fucking orphanage, you never tell another person to kill themselves." He spat before grabbing Tansy's arm and pulling her away from them so they could be alone.

He crossed his arms on front of him, looking her over. "So you really sorry, or are you just bored with Colin now?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because I'm not going to have only half of you Tansy. If you want me still, you're mine." He shrugged, holding her eyes. "I'm sick of wondering who you're fucking, and I'm definitely done competing with Colin. There shouldn't be a competition if you love me Tans. It's me or him." He shrugged.

Tansy was ready to walk away because it didnā€™t look like Donnie was going to cut in at any point and she honestly didnā€™t expect him to, she was honestly surprised he hadnā€™t just broken up with her because she kept going back to Collin and she wasnā€™t sure sheā€™d ever stop going back to him. It was hard for Tansy, she had a naturally addictive personality and Collin was both a habit and an addiction she couldnā€™t seem to break no matter how hard she tried.

"Alright, put the fucking claws away ladies." Donnie finally spoke up and she let out a breath of relief. He scolded the girl for a second before he grabbed her arm and pulled her a little ways from the party so they could be alone and when sheā€™d been trying to find him sheā€™d had a million things sheā€™d wanted to say to him, but now that they were alone she could think of one thing to say to make it all better. He crossed his arms and she couldnā€™t stand the way his eyes raked over her.

"So you really sorry, or are you just bored with Colin now?" he asked and his words hurt, she bit her lip looking away from him. She which she was fucking sober. "Because I'm not going to have only half of you Tansy. If you want me still, you're mine." He shrugged and she flicked her eyes to his, he was willing to take her back like always and she almost wished he wouldnā€™t, maybe sheā€™d learn. Then again she doubted it. "I'm sick of wondering who you're fucking, and I'm definitely done competing with Colin. There shouldn't be a competition if you love me Tans. It's me or him." He shrugged and she looked away choking back tears.

The choice was without doubt Donnie, but she couldnā€™t make that promise to him. It would always be him, but she was too much of a wild card. Tansy wasnā€™t the type of girl, no matter how badly she wanted to be, to settle for a serious relationship. She was too weak for the party scene, playing games. She could try to stop, but eventually itā€™d just make her hate Donnie and she loved him too much for their relationship to turn into that.

ā€œBabe, you know itā€™s you.ā€ She finally breathed glancing back to him. ā€œI love you so fucking much, it scares the shit out of me.ā€ She said honestly keeping his gaze so that he knew she wasnā€™t lying. ā€œBut, no matter how hard I try I canā€™t change who I am and I canā€™t change my history with Collin. Iā€™ve tried.ā€ She shook her head looking away. ā€œYou knew from the start who I was, everyone warned you.ā€ She closed her eyes. ā€œI told you before Donnie, you canā€™t have me.ā€ The last time sheā€™d said that it was cruel and bitter, now she was just being honest, that sheā€™d probably never be able to be fully his. Sheā€™d only ever be able to be half his.

Reed hesitated when he put the key in the ignition and as badly as he wanted to glance back up and look at her he knew if he did heā€™d finally creak. Heā€™d been so close to creaking when he kissed her. Finally he started the car and made his way back up the long dirt road. He dropped the car off at his friendā€™s house, before walking downtown, which was slightly dangerous considering how late it was and the fact that he was alone, but he really didnā€™t give a shit. Heā€™d ended up at his dealerā€™s house and spent good three thousand dollars, heā€™d been saving to buy Candie the necklace sheā€™d seen a few months back and fallen in love with, on coke and heroine and just about anything else he could get with that kind of money.

By the time heā€™d gotten home he Candie had been in every damn thought heā€™d had. He figured sheā€™d probably gone back to fucking Kaleb the second heā€™d pulled away. The thought was agonizing, the thought of some other guys hands all over her, Kaleb none the less. Heā€™d shot up a dangerous amount before snorting lines of coke. He turned up his music full blast. Over the last four months, Reed had grown up quite a bit, heā€™d had to mature having bills and a job. But, in a matter to minuetā€™s heā€™d reverted back into Lux, Mr. Misunderstood, anarchist. The kid everyone used to be too scared to mess with because they were afraid heā€™d lose it and come to school with a gun.

Candie was the glue that held him together, managed to make him responsible and want to be a better person. Without him he was worse than Collin when he was around Tansy. He pulled out a box from his closet with all his all shit in it, he pulled a can of black spray paint, smirking as he popped off the cap and shook the can. He grabbed the half full bottle of vodka on the dresser taking a swig, before making his way into the living room. He painted fuck and anarchist symbols on nearly every wall as well as other dark and crude things until the spray paint ran out and he tossed it away.

Saying heā€™d lost it was a complete understatement. He slipped his shirt off tossing it away before he continued his meltdown of tearing apart his entire apartment, punching holes in walls, and collecting Candieā€™s in a trash can and burning it in the living room. The was a knock at the door and he smirked raising a brow, he hoped it was Candie, then she might actually like him again. He rolled his eyes at the thought as he made his way over to the door and whipped it open only it was Demetri. Lux lend in the door way and he watch Demetriā€™s eyes focus on the trashed apartment behind Reed.

ā€œWhat the hell man, do you know what time it is?ā€ he spat and Lux just shrugged with a smirk.

Candie hated her house because her mother and Craig were always there, making her life a living hell, but suddenly she just wanted to find Donnie and head home. Actually, it really didn't matter where she went, as long as she was with someone she knew loved her because her heart had just been ripped out. She needed someone to make sure she didn't do something stupid and honestly, as long as she wasn't near Kaleb or Reed, she didn't care where they went.

She pushed through the party for a long time, looking for her brother, knowing he was probably the only person left that would be able to tolerate her. Her knees were weak and she knew if she didn't find Donnie soon, on of two things would happen. Either she'd crumble and fall apart right there in front of everyone. Or she'd get dangerously fucked up and do something reckless and stupid because she was hurt.

Eventually, she managed to find him, but he was standing with Tansy and suddenly she felt sick to her stomach. The day of their group's big fight came into her head and the one moment, where Donnie stepped away from her to stand next to Tansy, a look of disappointment in his eyes, kept playing across her memory until eventually, she leaned against the tree next to her and threw up violently.

Before they could see her, Candie slipped quickly out if sight, not wanting Donnie anymore because, in order to get to him, she'd have to cut into the conversation he was having with Tansy. He'd made it clear before that Tansy was more important than her, she couldn't take that kind of rejection again. Besides, she didn't want Tansy to see the smudged mascara on her face or hear her telling Donnie about Reed. She couldn't stand the fact that all she'd be thinking was that Candie had gotten what she deserved and she'd be right.

She'd thrown away her best friend and her brother for nothing and now she had no one. No one but Kaleb, or Dimitri, or all the other guys that used her but didn't love her. It was her own damn fault too. She had no one to blame but herself for acting like a whore, fucking with people's heads, and taking Reed completely for granted. "Damn Candie, you look like shit. Let me guess, trouble in paradise?" She heard a voice and glanced up.

Kaleb was in front of her, but he wasn't alone. Nena was hanging in his arm and the smirk on his lips was so smug, she couldn't stand it. If she stood there another second, she might get sick again. Without even answering him, Candie slipped her heels off and took off running, away from the party, barefoot through the trees. When she finally made it to the road she stopped to catch her breath before making her way down the street, not really knowing where to go, but knowing, wherever it was, it just had to be away.

Eventually, even though it was pretty far from where the party had been, she found herself outside of her and Reed's apartment building and cursed, tilting her head back to look up at the window of their tiny little room, wondering what Reed was doing up there. Everything inside her was screaming at her to go in and, if not beg him to forgive her, at the very least, pick a fight, and it was tempting. So tempting, that she pulled out the bag of coke Dimitri had given her earlier and snorted what was left of it, intending to march inside and get him back or give him hell trying. In the end though, she just sank to the ground and sat on the curb, dropping her face into her hands with a miserable groan as her phone rang next to her and Kaleb's name came up on the screen.

Donnie could see the tears welling up in her eyes and it killed him because he knew what that meant. It meant she loved him, but she couldn't give him what he wanted. She couldn't give him all of herself. Part of her heart would always be Collin's and that tore him apart. He'd done everything for her, delicately putting her back together all those years. All Collin had ever done was smash her to pieces again every time he turned his back for a second. Yet she still couldn't give him up for him and that hurt like a knife in the gut.

ā€œBabe, you know itā€™s you. I love you so fucking much, it scares the shit out of me.ā€ She finally breathed and he just shrugged and looked away. He didn't want to hear her say she loved him because he knew what followed. She'd say, "I love you, but..." and that wasn't how it should be. There should be no ands, ifs, or buts. It should just be "I love you. That's it." nothing more. He didn't want to hear the rest, he wanted that to be the end of things, but he knew it was coming, he could hear it in her tone.

ā€œBut, no matter how hard I try I canā€™t change who I am and I canā€™t change my history with Collin. Iā€™ve tried.ā€ She shook her head and his jaw clenched to hide the way her words hurt. ā€œYou knew from the start who I was, everyone warned you. I told you before Donnie, you canā€™t have me.ā€ She said and he let out a deep breath.

Donnie let the silence hang between them for a long time before finally bringing his eyes back to hers and holding them. "That's bullshit Tansy, you and I both fucking know that." He spat. "You can do anything you want, you wouldn't be you if that wasn't true." He shrugged and held her eyes. "If you wanted to let Colin go, you could, but for some fucking reason, you won't let yourself." He sighed and took a step towards her.

"If you want this," he said, gesturing between them, voice calmer. "Then you can have it, but if you don't want it bad enough to give up him, then I don't want it. Sow some effort for fucks sake. I'm done fighting and making sacrifices for you Tansy. It's up to you now. There can still be an us, but you have to show me that you really love me or it's not worth my fucking time." Donnie said simply before turning and walking away.

The problem with Tansy was she was never really sure what she wanted. She didnā€™t like to have to make hard choices like pick between Donnie and Collin, so she went with however managed to convince her they were better for the moment. Sheā€™d never really made her own choices, as much as she liked to look like k=no one controlled her, that was clearly not the case. She wasnā€™t even sure she knew how to make up her own mind or think for herself because Collin had done that for her for so long.

"That's bullshit Tansy, you and I both fucking know that." He spat breaking the silence between them and she held his eyes. "You can do anything you want, you wouldn't be you if that wasn't true. If you wanted to let Colin go, you could, but for some fucking reason, you won't let yourself." he sighed taking a step towards her and she kept her eyes on him, she can tell she was killing him and she hated herself for it. "If you want this, Then you can have it, but if you don't want it bad enough to give up him, then I don't want it. Sow some effort for fucks sake. I'm done fighting and making sacrifices for you Tansy. It's up to you now. There can still be an us, but you have to show me that you really love me or it's not worth my fucking time." he said calmer this time and she knew he was giving up on her.

Hell why wouldnā€™t he, all she ever fucking did was go back to Collin. This time though she didnā€™t want to, but a in all honesty Collin scared the shit out of her and there was a part of her that was scared that if she didnā€™t go back to Collin it was only a matter of time before he hurt Donnie. She wouldnā€™t be surprised if that was the reason him and Kaleb had been hanging out so much, because Collin wanted her back and Kaleb hated Donnie. She looked away from him wiping the tears from her cheeks despite the fact she was crying. She hated that Donnie was seeing her cry she wasnā€™t even sure Collin or Candie had ever seen her genuinely cry.

ā€œI canā€™t make you promises Tae, because I wonā€™t keep them and I care to fucking much about you to hurt you like this.ā€ She breathed, honesty clear in her voice. ā€œAdmit it Don itā€™s killing you not knowing who Iā€™m spending nights with when Iā€™m not with you, itā€™s always in the back of your head that I just might be with Collin.ā€ She glanced back to him. ā€œI canā€™t be the girl you want me to be.ā€ She shook her head.

She closed the space between them kissing him on the cheek before slipping away into the trees, walking quickly, hoping that he didnā€™t follow and praying Collin hadnā€™t been watching. Eventually the music faded and she was on the other side of the woods, her house just up the street and she made her way down the sidewalk, before spotting Candie sitting on the curb. What she really wanted to do was beat the shit out of her, but not for fucking her brother or even fucking her boyfriend, but for letting boys get between them in the first place. She looked just about as miserable as Tansy felt and she knew she needed someone to talke to the same way Tansy needed someone to help her forget about Don.

She knew in the morning when she realized sheā€™d broken up with Donnie itā€™d hit her hard, but for the night she just wanted her best friend back. She knelt down next to her looking her over for a second before she spoke.

ā€œYou look like shit.ā€ She breathed. ā€œBut, thatā€™s nothing a hot bath and drowning ourselves in liquor canā€™t change.ā€ She smirked. ā€œWhat do you say we go take a bubble bath and talk about life like we used to, then tomorrow we can go back to hating each other.ā€ She smirked s she stood back up offering Candie her hand.

Reed had eventually invited Demetri in and theyā€™d continued getting fucked up together, until the house was full of strangers dancing, getting stoned, doing keg stands, and making out. It was the kind of party you were scared to go to because you were scared youā€™d either get shot or raped. The apartment was completely trashed, a thick haze of hung in the air making it almost impossible to see someone across the room.

Lux leaned in the corner of his apartment, drinking from his third full bottle that night, he wasnā€™t entire sure how he was even still alive but he really didnā€™t give a shit he just wanted to forget that his girlfriend was fucking his best friend, even if he had to drink himself to death to forget. Heā€™d cough up blood a countless number of times and purposely tired overdosing but he apparently wasnā€™t taking enough and the thought of Kaleb and Candie was driving him fucking nuts.

ā€œYou look like shit.ā€ He heard a raspy voice and glance to the small blonde in front of him. He smirked as he looked over her. She was incredible like a piece of art work that should be hanging up on a wall, the way she was covered in tattoos. Her long blonde hair hung pin straight o her hips. ā€œLea and you must be Reed.ā€ She breathed.

He raised a brow knowing even ass fucked up as he was he should walk away from her, because if he stuck around heā€™d end up doing something heā€™d regret. He loved Candie, he wasnā€™t exactly sure that hooking up right after breaking up with her was the best idea, then again sheā€™d fucked Kaleb while they were together.

ā€œCall me Lux.ā€ He smirked taking a swig from his liquor. ā€œDo I know you?ā€ he asked confused that sheā€™d known who he was.

ā€œNo.ā€ she shook her head as she lit herself a cigarette. ā€œI asked whoā€™s house this was and that guy pointed me in your direction.ā€ She gestured to Demetri before glancing back to him. ā€œWhereā€™s your girlfriend?ā€ she asked, like she expected his girlfriend to be hanging on his arm.

ā€œDonā€™t have one.ā€ He shrugged. ā€œYou wanna fuck?ā€ he smirked and she didnā€™t seem shocked or surprised she simply smirked as she took another drag off his cigarette and started to walk towards the door, turning back to him and gesturing for him to follow her.

Candie sat on the curb outside their apartment building trying to work herself up into a bitter rage, doing dangerous amounts of the coke to help with the task. If she got angry enough, she could head upstairs and pick a fight. They'd do what they always did and argue until they were sick of the screaming so instead, he fucked her hard, and in the morning it'd be over. He'd forget he'd broken up with her and they'd go back to pretending things were okay between them.

Still, no matter how much coke she inhaled, she couldn't seem to get angry at anyone but herself. Afterall, she really had no one else to blame. It wasn't like she could march upstairs and accuse him of being unfair because he wasn't. Breaking up with her is exactly what he should have done. He'd caught her fucking Kaleb, and to make matters worse, not only was he Reed's best friend, but she'd cheated with him before. For all he knew, she'd never stopped seeing him. Besides, on top of that there were also the facts that she was a horrible house guest and he had yet to find out that she'd been fucking Dimitri almost every day while he was at work.

No matter what she did, she couldn't get mad at him. All he'd ever done was try to take care of her and make her happy and all she'd done was sleep around and get high. She still didn't understand why he'd loved her at all. She was exactly what everyone said she was. She was "Kinky-Candie" the school slut, infamous for using nothing but her pretty face to break hearts. Only now she'd hurt someone she actually cared about and she felt like complete shit.

After a long time of just sitting there, listening to the blasting music coming from upstairs, torturing herself by imagining all the girls Reed was probably up there fucking, someone walked up and stood next to her. Candie didn't look up or move. She didn't have to, she knew who it was. Her energy was just as familiar to her as Donnie's or Reed's. She knew it was Tansy and she really didn't want to look at her. She didn't even turn her head as she crouched beside her because she didn't want to see the look on her face as she looked her over, knowing it was completely obvious what had happened.

She was sitting outside on the curb while a party went on inside, cheeks blackened with streaks of mascara, hair a mess, twisting an empty bag of coke around and around in her fingers frantically because it was the only thing there was to do and she felt like, if she stopped, she'd fall apart. She knew she probably looked like some crack head who'd gone way too long without a fix and she didn't feel like fighting with Tansy, not now. Despite how ridiculously strung out she was on the coke, a fight was the last thing she wanted.

ā€œYou look like shit.ā€ Tansy breathed next to her and Candie scoffed like that was the biggest understatement she'd ever heard. ā€œBut, thatā€™s nothing a hot bath and drowning ourselves in liquor canā€™t change.ā€ She smirked and Candie was so shocked by that, she had to look at her. She'd expected Tansy to gloat. Ask her if fucking Reed was worth their friendship, only to be left sitting out on the curb in the end. ā€œWhat do you say we go take a bubble bath and talk about life like we used to, then tomorrow we can go back to hating each other.ā€ She offered as she stood, holding out her hand.

For a moment, Candie just stared at it. She thought about getting up and walking away, maybe telling Tansy to fuck off, but at the moment, she just needed a friend. She needed someone to take care of her for a little while and tell her the world wasn't ending, even if she couldn't believe it. She needed someone to make it hurt a little less to breathe and thaw some of the ice that chilled her bones and made her body ache. So in the end, she swallowed her pride and took her friend's hand because she had no one else to turn to and she knew if she stayed there alone, she'd fall apart and do something stupid before the night was up.

It was silent for a minute, and in the silence, Donnie could swear he'd felt his heart break. He was losing her. He could see it in her eyes and it was the most painful thing he'd ever watched. He felt helpless, like he was underwater, able to see the light shining through the surface, kicking his way frantically to air, but never really making any progress, drowning each silent second that passed between them. She was slipping right through his fingers and he couldn't hold on. It was the most frustrating thing he'd ever experienced in his life.

He knew what he could do to make her stay. He could kiss her and tell her to forget it. He could pretend nothing he'd just said mattered and act like her cheating and her inability to resist Colin didn't effect him. He could lie to himself and say he was okay having only part of her as long as he could have her at all. Then at least she'd still be his in she ways. At least she wouldn't slip away from him completely. But still. What good was working so hard to keep her when he could never really have her? Maybe it was time to stop trying and just let her go.

ā€œI canā€™t make you promises Tae, because I wonā€™t keep them and I care too fucking much about you to hurt you like this.ā€ She breathed, and he wished she'd stop because her words were killing him. Why the fuck couldn't she fight for him? All he'd ever done was fight for her. Hell, he'd stepped away from his twin sister to be with her. ā€œAdmit it Don itā€™s killing you not knowing who Iā€™m spending nights with when Iā€™m not with you, itā€™s always in the back of your head that I just might be with Collin. I canā€™t be the girl you want me to be.ā€ She said, shaking her head and that irritated him because it made it sound like he wasn't satisfied with loving her the way she was.

It made it sound like he wanted to change her and that was a lie. He didn't want her to change who she was. He loved her the way she was that's exactly why she drove him so crazy. All he wanted was a little evidence that she loved him back because honestly, with her sleeping around and now, finding her with Collin still bending to his every will, he was starting to feel like another one of her games.

Tansy kissed him then on the cheek and he hated that it wasn't on the lips, but he was also glad, because at least that way he couldn't taste her goodbye. He'd probably lose it if he she kissed him and he could feel that it was probably their last. He'd never let her go. He'd get sucked right back into her and tell her anything he could just to get her to stay and he knew he couldn't. He had to let her go because he couldn't keep feeling like he was loving someone who still had half her heart hooked on someone else. He wanted her whole heart or none at all.

So, instead of following her through the trees like he normally would, Donnie just watched her until she was gone before sighing and heading back to the party. Nena had moved on, dancing all over Kaleb, making it clear the two of them had kissed and made up with the way his hands explored her body. Lauren just sat in the couch drinking a beer and smoking a joint and Donnie sighed and joined her, letting her light a joint for him and rest her head on his shoulder, wrapping an arm around her as he smoked with her and watched the dancers.

The small moment between her and Candie, with Candieā€™s eyes on her was agonizing. She figured Candi would turn her done and then sheā€™d get pissed and end up saying things that would hurt her best friend all over again. No matter what Candie didnā€™t to her she was still her best friend and Tansy knew when Candie was desperate and when she needed someone to be her friend and when she needed to be put into her place and it was clear that Candace needed her. If Tans was being completely honest she needed Candie just as much. It felt like years since sheā€™d seen Candie, considering sheā€™d practically seen her every day of her life since they were kids.

It was painfully clear that everything had got to shit, if ever anyone had wanted to see Candie and Tansy at their worst it was at that moment. Reed and Candie were on the outs, that was obvious by the fact that she was sitting all alone outside an apartment complex that Tansy was smart enough to know was where her and Reed had been stay for the past four months. Candie finally took her hand and she helped her up before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close, holding her up as if she could feel that any minuet she could completely fall apart.

When they finally got back to Tansyā€™s house no one was home and Tansy didnā€™t bother turning the lights on as they headed into her parentsā€™ bedroom and she started the bath water. The bathtub was huge and Tansy could remember all the times her and Candie used to look the door and spend our talking until the water got cold. Tansy flipped on some music before grabbing some bottle of liquor and a few packs of cigarettes. Finally she slipped out of her skanky outfit and climbed into the tub. She didnā€™t bother to look at Candie until she lit herself a cigarette and flipped the water off.

ā€œIā€™m sorry about me and Donnie.ā€ She breathed out a breath of smoke as she spoke. ā€œI donā€™t know what the fuck I was thinking.ā€ She said trying to lie to herself, like she didnā€™t love him, yet the only thing running through her mind was what he was doing or who he was with. There had been plenty of girls waiting for her to fuck things up with Donnie so they could swoop in and get with him.

ā€œIā€™m just fucked up you know.ā€ Tansy said honestly. ā€œIā€™m not mad at you or Lux.ā€ She shrugged taking a drag of her cigarette. ā€œI didnā€™t love him, we werenā€™t even good together.ā€ She sighed. ā€œNot like you two were.ā€ She Tansy flashed her friend a smile. ā€œI just wished you would have told me.ā€ Tansy looked away grabbing a bottle of liquor and taking a swig from it. ā€œCandie, I love you. I hope you know that.ā€ Tanys said flicking her eyes back to Candie.

The truth was Tansy was tired of fighting everyone. She was exhausted from all the shitty problems she created for herself, the holes sheā€™d dug way too deep to climb out of and when everything was falling apart around her, she at least wanted her best friend by her side. She wasnā€™t sure Candie would forgive her though, not only had she fucked her brother, but sheā€™d managed to get Donnie to take her side instead of Candies and now she was fairly certain sheā€™d fucked him up so badly, she was almost scared to see him again. Sheā€™d initially done the same thing sheā€™d done to Collin to him.

Lux and Lea had fucked for a long time. It was hot, kinky, fucked up sex. The kind of sex him and Candie had, the only difference was it was empty, there was nothing but lust that drove it. With him and Candie it was more than that and he hated that he was thinking about her the entire time he was fucking Lea. At one point heā€™d accidently called her Candie and had to make up for it. It drove him nuts because he was pretty fucking sure that he wasnā€™t the only thing on Candieā€™s mind when she was screwing some other guy.

Why he finally rolled off of Lea, she was bruised up beyond belief and he was still dangerously high. Her lips came down between his shoulder blades. ā€œShit. You really know what youā€™re doing.ā€ She breathed against his skin and he smirked wickedly. He grabbed her jaw roughly pressing his lips to hers, comparing the taste of her lips to Candie, kissing her hard wanting to erase Candie from his thoughts, but no amount of drugs or fucking Lea seemed to be working and it was pissing him off.

He stood up slipping his jeans back on and she looped her fingers though his jeans pulling him close as her lips roamed his waistline, trying to seduce him back to bed. She was the kind of girl that heā€™d never fall for and their never be any strings attached, yet she was easy to take his anger out on and have mindless sex with and that alone was worth keeping her around. He was pulled from his thoughts when the door flew open and a huge guy who looked like he just got out of prison burst through his bedroom door and he raised a brow, wicked smirk on his lips.

ā€œLea what the fuck?ā€ he screamed and Lux rolled his eyes, as he lit himself a cigarette and Lea jumped up quickly slipping her clothes on. ā€œYou fuck my girlfriend?ā€ he spat taking a threatening step close, but Lux didnā€™t move, just smirked arrogantly at the guy as Lea ran over to him begging him not to do anything.

ā€œShe said she didnā€™t have a boyfriend.ā€ Reed shrugged and before he knew it he had the guy on the floor beating the shit out of him, it took Demetri and two other guy to rip him away. Reed whipped the blood from his busted lip as a few guys escorted Leaā€™s boyfriend out. Reedā€™s eyes fell on the tatted blonde. ā€œYou going with him?ā€ he asked looking over her and she shook her head causing him to smirk as she closed the distance between them kissing him.

Tansy pulled her to her feet and held her tightly as they walked and Candie was glad because she knew she'd have crumbled if she wasn't there. They walked in silence and she sat numbly on Tansy's parent's bed as her friend ran a bath in their master bathroom. It was utterly awful, knowing her and Reed were over and Reed was probably of fucking someone else. She felt like complete shit. Her whole body hurt, every muscle sore from head to toe like she'd been hit by a truck and it felt like someone had taken a knife and carved a hole in her chest where her heart used to be.

Candie was a strong girl, she could survive almost anything and had before, but losing people she loved tore her to pieces. She'd actually let herself fall in love with him, taking a risk for him she hadn't ever taken for anyone, only to end up broken hearted, exactly like she knew she would. The worst part, though, was that it was her own damn fault.

ā€œIā€™m sorry about me and Donnie.ā€ Tansy breathed, pulling her from her thoughts and she glanced up at her friend in the bathroom. Candie stood with a sigh, grabbing a bottle of liquor and popping it open, taking a long swig as she slipped into the room with Tansy and sat on the floor with her back against the tub, listening to her talk and trying not to think about Reed. ā€œI donā€™t know what the fuck I was thinking.ā€ She went on and Candie rolled her eyes. She knew just by Tansy's tone, that was bullshit. She loved Donnie just as much as Candie loved Reed.

ā€œIā€™m just fucked up you know. Iā€™m not mad at you or Lux.ā€ She said and Candie scoffed and lit herself a cigarette. Candie hardly even had a right to hate Tansy and yet she'd been doing nothing but sitting around being angry at her for the past four months. If anyone had a right to be hateful, it was Tansy. Candie had fucked her boyfriend behind her back for months, stolen him right out from under her, and, to top it all off, had also fucked Kaleb, her brother, countless times.

ā€œI didnā€™t love him, we werenā€™t even good together. Not like you two were.ā€ Tansy went on and that made her wince as she took a drag off her cigarette. Were she repeated in her head bitterly, hating the fact that they were over. Besides, they'd loved each other, sure, but they'd always been a total disaster together. ā€œI just wished you would have told me.ā€ Tansy said and Candie sighed, taking another long drink from her bottle, not sure how to answer. She should apologize or something, but she'd never really been good at saying sorry and she really wasn't in the mood to start digging into everything Candie owed Tansy an apology for. Especially not after what had just happened with Reed.

ā€œCandie, I love you. I hope you know that.ā€ Tansy said and Candie sighed, letting it fall silent for a second. Finally, she stood and placed a kiss on the top of Tansy's head before sitting on the edge of the tub, taking another drink from the bottle and another drag from her cigarette.

"I love you too babe." She finally breathed out a breath of smoke, glancing at her friend. "And I love Reed too." She whispered, looking away. "I didn't sleep with him to hurt you, I did it because he was the first guy I'd ever slept with where I didn't wake up feeling used. The only reason I didn't tell you was because I was terrified of losing you, but I didn't want to give him up." She breathed, voice shaking a little, afraid she'd burst into tears. "I guess I just saw how good he was to you after everything that had happened with Collin and wanted some of that." She said with a deep sigh, taking another long drink. "It was selfish and terrible, I know, but whatever I guess." She scoffed bitterly as she looked at the bottle in her lap, picking at the label. "I fucked up and It's over now." She shrugged like it didn't bother her when it was clear that it was tearing her apart.

Donnie just sat with Lauren for a while, her head on his shoulder as they smoked, drank, and watched the dancers. He knew what she was thinking as clearly as though it had been written out on paper and read out loud to him. She was wondering what had happened with him and Tansy. She wanted to know if they were over and, if they were, if she could finally have a chance. Still, even if he knew that's what was going through her mind, Lauren was a considerate girl and she didn't so much as open her mouth to speak, just sat there with him in silence.

He knew it was killing her not to know, because she'd had a thing for him forever and it had only escalated that night he'd found out about Nena and fucked her. It made him feel like shit because she was pretty fragile. She'd been to the hospital for attempting suicide before and he'd led her on and used her like she was nothing and then moved from Nena, right over her, and on to Tansy like she didn't exist.

After a while of the two of them just sitting there, his eyes occasionally catching glimpses of Nena grinding on Kaleb in the crowd, he wrapped an arm around her and she settled her body deeper against his like she was perfectly comfortable there. Like they'd been a couple for years and it was second nature to her, to nestle into his side. "Tansy and I are over." He sighed out a breath of smoke, unable to hide the pain in his voice.

"I'm sorry." She breathed softly as she rested against him and he sighed and held her a little tighter.

"Thanks for trying Lauren, but you're a shitty liar, I know you're not sorry." He shrugged, taking a long hit off his joint as it fell silent between them for a while and she seemed to be thinking.

After a long moment a quiet, she pulled away from him and sat in his lap, straddling him, eyes on his suddenly dead serious. "You're right, I'm not sorry. I'm glad you broke up." She said with a casual shrug as she looked at him and he couldn't bring his eyes away from her. It wasn't typical of Lauren to be so frank and honest. It wasn't that she was a liar, it was just that she was usually softspoken and, even if she didn't believe it, would say anything to comfort you. She was a pushover, very rarely saying what she thought and always trying to make everyone else feel better. She was the kind of girl who'd look you in the eye after you stabbed her and apologize for being in the way of your knife.

"But I am sorry that she hurt you Donnie." She breathed, genuine care in her tone. "I'm sorry you keep falling for girls who are too hooked on someone else they don't even realize how incredible you are and walk all over you." She sighed, eyes flicking towards Nena and Kaleb briefly before back to him. "I'm also sorry that you can't see what's right in front of you, willing to love you better than either if them if you'd just let me." She spat, grabbing his face in both hands and kissing him hard.

Donnie knew he should pull away, but he couldn't. After what had just happened with Tansy, watching the girl he loved walk away from him because she couldn't get over another guy, it felt incredible, the way Lauren was kissing him. She kissed him like he was everything to her. Like he was the air she breathed and he meant so much to her, it killed her to see him in pain. He knew Tansy loved him, but Lauren was kissing him like she wanted to give all of herself to him, something Tansy had just blatantly told him she could never do.

So instead of pushing her off and doing what any decent guy would have done, explaining to her that he was high and hurt and she'd only get hurt once she realized he'd only used her to get over Tansy, he wrapped an arm tight around her waist and flipped her onto her back, kissing her even harder, hating that he was comparing every second of the kiss to Tansy's, but unable to make himself stop. For once he just wanted to feel like he was the only love in someone's life and he knew, without a doubt, he was the only guy to Lauren. Even if he wasn't in love with her, he wouldn't have to "share" her with anyone.

Candie stood then and kissed the top of Tansyā€™s head and she hated how much the kiss felt like they were more like strangers then best friends. It was nearly as bad as loosing Donnie. She hated that theyā€™d let so much shit come between them. They used to be so close, people questioned whether or not they were straight or gay. Now though, they felt like strangers and Tansy knew that it wasnā€™t because they were, but it was because they were both bitter towards each other for different things no matter how much they tried to pretend they werenā€™t. It was easy to take all their fucked up issues out on each other, because somehow they knew eventually theyā€™d forgive each other, or at least Tansy liked to think that.

"I love you too babe. And I love Reed too." She whispered, blowing out a breath of smoke as she looked away "I didn't sleep with him to hurt you, I did it because he was the first guy I'd ever slept with where I didn't wake up feeling used. The only reason I didn't tell you was because I was terrified of losing you, but I didn't want to give him up." she breathed and Tansy had known her for far to long, to miss the guilt in her voice. "I guess I just saw how good he was to you after everything that had happened with Collin and wanted some of that. It was selfish and terrible, I know, but whatever I guess." Tansy sighed as she took a drink from her bottle, looking away from her friend hating that they both hated their selves for hurting each other. "I fucked up and It's over now." she shrugged like it was no big deal and Tansy knew better.

They were both in fucked up situations and no matter how hard they tried there was no getting out, for either of them. Even if Tansy went back to Donnie, ran all the way back to the party and kissed him and apologized over and over and promised to never do it again, Collin would still be their taunting her until she broke and it would be a never ending circle of pain until Donnie broke.

It was the same thing for Candie, she wasnā€™t stupid, she knew her brother was an ass, heā€™d only got worse handing out with Collin and on a few occasion sheā€™d used his cell phone for whatever reason sheā€™d seen the number of times heā€™d called Candie and even if Collin and Kaleb werenā€™t the issue something else would come up. Her and Candie were blessed with good looks and irresistible charm, but in return cursed with shitty luck.

ā€œYour right, it is over.ā€ Tansy said which wasnā€™t like her, she didnā€™t admit defeat, yet she was doing it in more ways than one. The pain and exhaustion was clear in her voice, she didnā€™t just mean their drama was over. She meant her and Donnie were over, sheā€™d give into Collin, and the balance in their world would be back on its axis. She finished off the bottle before setting it up on the bath tub and standing up herself. She grabbed a towel wrapping it around herself. ā€œLetā€™s go sit on the roof an d get fucked up.ā€ She smirked, stepping out of the tub.

It was silent for a while as Candie sat there at the edge of the tub, drinking. It was awful, the silence that stretched between them because it was a clear indication that the two of them had lost a lot of their deep connection the past four months. They'd spent so much time hating each other, now there was a rift between them she wasn't sure would ever close. Hell, even as she sat there with her, it was hard to forgive her completely and she was terrified there'd always be that small bit of resentment towards her. That they'd never really be on the same level they'd been before.

ā€œYou're right, it is over.ā€ Tansy finally said, sheer defeat in her voice and Candie let out a deep sigh. Hearing Tansy say that pretty much crumbled any resolve she had left. If Tansy, of all people was ready to give up, then it was about time she did the same. There was no point in trying to love Reed anymore. It was clear that, even if they loved each other, they couldn't be together. They had too many problems, too many things keeping them apart. If she just went back to being the slut everyone knew her as, things would work themselves out, the group might not be the same, but they'd come back from it eventually.

ā€œLetā€™s go sit on the roof and get fucked up.ā€ Tansy smirked, pulling her from her thoughts and Candie glanced up to see that she'd wrapped herself in a towel and was standing. Candie didn't answer, just nodded and went to the sink. While Tansy dressed, Candie washed her face clean of running mascara and glitter, pulling her dark hair up tight into a ponytail and swapping her party clothes for a tank top and shorts PJ set from Tansy's closet, knowing she wouldn't mind.

Finally, they did as Tansy had suggested and slipped up to the roof. Candie sat next to her friend, smoking a cigarette and drinking from her bottle, not sure what to say at first. For the longest time, it was dead silent between them because neither of them were really sure what to talk about. Everything currently on their minds was too painful and anything they had to tell each other about the past four months would only be hateful and bitter.

After a while though, they got to talking. Candie wasn't even sure what it was that started the conversation, but they did a shit load of drugs and drank bottle after bottle of liquor until, at some point, they were leaning heavily against each other, laughing so hard at a joke they couldn't remember that tears stung their eyes. It was a momentary happiness fueled mostly by drugs, Candie knew that. The moment she woke up the next morning, she'd feel like she couldn't breathe again but at least, for now, she felt good. She had her best friend back for a little while and that was all that mattered. The rest, she could deal with in the morning.

Her and Candie had spent the rest of the night on the roof, after a tone of drugs and booze, theyā€™d loosened up and for a while everything was normal and it felt great. Theyā€™d fallen asleep in Tansyā€™s bed together. Tansy was the first to wake up that morning with a pounding head ach and the realization that her and Donnie were really over. It wasnā€™t him that she was waking up to and that made her heart twist. Her and Candie had spent the day trying to pretend that everything was okay, but the second Kaleb and Collin came back home there was a heavy tension, between the four of them.

Kaleb had wanted to talk to Candie and so Tansy went down stairs and put on a movie, hoping that Collin would leave her alone, but she wasnā€™t that lucky. A part of her wished that Donnie would come and fight for her, but she knew that wouldnā€™t happen he was sick of her. Collin told her things that completely broke her down, showed her pictures heā€™d taken of Donnie and Lauren making out and what hurt the most was how content Donnie looked. Eventually Collin had broken her down so much, sheā€™d ended up back at his house and theyā€™d spent the rest of the night fucking.

Heā€™d promised heā€™d changed and part of her wanted to believe him. For the first week they were back together, they were actually sober and kind of happy. When they went back to school, Collinā€™s arm around her shoulder, everyone was in shock. The first time Tansy saw Lauren all over Donnie, something in her literally died. Sheā€™d lost the most important person in her life and it was all her fault. She hated the way Lauren looked at him, like she already had their entire life planned out and she regretted not looking at him that way. What she hated most that Lauren actually treated him the way he deserved. She wasnā€™t entirely sure if they were together or not, but they sure as hell acted like it and it made her sick to her stomach.

Every time she saw him with Lauren she had to fight back to urge to fall apart. But, just like sheā€™d predicted everything had gone back to normal. She went back to being top of the food chain at school alongside Candie. As the weeks passed and turned into a month, Collin had gone back to being a complete fucking ass hole. Their fights were violent and she covered her pain by staying high. Sheā€™d gotten kicked out of school twice over the past month and even threatened to be expelled.

She actually hadnā€™t shown up too school in the past three days. Her and Collin had gotten into such a bad fight this time, the neighbors had called the cops on them. Theyā€™d cuffed Collin and had him in the back of the cop car until the two of them had finally calmed down. Sheā€™d brought up the fact that sheā€™d rather be going to the dance with Donnie and Collin had nearly beaten the shit out of her for it. It had taken her a good two hours to cover up her black eyes and the bruises all over her body, to look decent enough to show up to the dance.

Finally sheā€™d finished her make-up, before curling her long dark hair, and finally slipping into her prom dress. She looked incredible, he honestly looked like a princess, but she didnā€™t feel like on. In fact she felt like complete shit. She didnā€™t even want to go and she felt sick at the thought of Lauren, looking beautiful and sober, while she looked like a crack whore train wreck.

ā€œYou look good babe.ā€ Collin smirked walking up behind her and kissing her neck and she pulled away from him rolled her eyes. He grabbed her wrist roughly and spun her to face him. ā€œDisrespect me like that tonight, Iā€™ll put your whore ass in the hospital again.ā€ He spat harshly and her jaw clenched.

ā€œJust shoot me up and shut the fuck up.ā€ She hissed glaring at him. She kept her eyes on him as he walked away getting a needle ready, before walking back over to her and grabbing her arm.

ā€œPut the claws away Tansy Bear, no one likes a bitch.ā€ He spat tightening his grip on her wrist before jamming the needle into her arm and she tried pulling away, letting out a pained noise, but his grip was too tight. He shot her up ad whatever heā€™d given her was burning her veins.

Lux had gone completely off the deep end. He knew him and Candie were over, she was too far gone, sheā€™d never just want him and that killed him. He had nothing to fucking live for because now that she was gone, he was completely certain heā€™d lost the only girl heā€™d ever really loved. Heā€™d woken up the next morning, next to Lea only to find out that she was younger than her tattoos made her look. Heā€™d fucked a sixteen year old and no she was convinced they were dating, not that he minded because when they had sex it seemed to make him forget about Candie. Lea was incredibly good with putting up withhis drugged up ass.

Heā€™d turned into a complete reckless, psychopath. When guys looked in Leaā€™s direction heā€™d cuss them out and threaten to beat the shit out of them. Heā€™d convinced himself that he could stay with her, because he didnā€™t love her and if she ever left him it wouldnā€™t hurt the way it had hurt loosing Candie. He was never sober, in fact he hadnā€™t been sober in close to a month and a half now and the only person aware of him getting sicker was Lea. She only knew because sheā€™d walked in on him passed out in the bathroom, heā€™d stopped breathing, Demetri had been there and tried his best to give him CPR and the EMS had told them if they hadnā€™t given him CPR to keep air in his lung he would have been dead.

His grandpa had found out that heā€™d dropped out of school and that hadnā€™t ended well, it had ended him his grandpa forcing him to go back to school, he made sure that all of his classes avoided any of the group, it had been hard, but considering the fact that his grandpa had money, heā€™d made it happen. It had been a month sense heā€™d seen or heard from any of his friends. Heā€™d seen Collin a few times but it was only to exchange money for drugs, Reed had always bought his shit from Collin not that anyone knew that.

Lux sat on his bed, face buried in his hands. Lea told him sheā€™d missed her period and he was freaking the fuck out. There was no way in hell he could be a dad, he was worse than a train wreck, there was no way he could raise a baby.

ā€œBabe?ā€ he heard Leaā€™s voice and he glanced up to her all dressed up in her short sparkling yellow dress. She was beautiful, she really was, but she was nothing compared to Candie and he wondered if sheā€™d even be there tonight.

ā€œAre you pregnant?ā€ he breathed standing up, Reed was mean and instead of forgetting about the possibility for the night and enjoying the night, he brought it up and his tone was demanding.

ā€œReed, Iā€™m too scared to take the test, I donā€™t know.ā€ She voice desperate as she took a step forward and he just rolled his eyes and straightened his tux in the mirror, before leaning down and snorting one too many lines of coke. ā€œBaby, youā€™re going to kill yourself.ā€ She grabbed his arm genuine worry in his voice.

ā€œIā€™m already fucking dead. Get your shit so we can get this night over with.ā€ He spat grabbing his keys and heading out the door not bothering to wait for her.

Eventually that night had ended with Candie and Tansy passing out in Tansy's bed only to wake up with rough hangovers and the painful realization that they'd both lost the only guys they'd ever let themselves love. They tried to pretend they were okay, but it was hard. Candie couldn't stop thinking about Reed or kicking herself for fucking up so badly, and she knew Donnie wasn't leaving Tansy's head anytime soon either.

They hadn't had a ton of time to wallow though. Eventually, Kaleb came home, Collin in tow and Tansy left her with Kaleb because he claimed he wanted to "talk" to her. Mostly what had happened was him sitting next to her, fingers running lightly over her skin, grazing her neck, thigh, arm, the neckline of her top, while he told said things in her ear she really wasn't even listening to. She just sat there, numb to his touch and comforting whispers, trying not to cry.

She knew not a single word coming out of Kaleb's mouth meant anything. He really didn't even like her. He wouldn't touch her or kiss her in public and he'd called her a bitch and a slut on numerous occasions. She was nothing to Kaleb but sex. He told her all the time, when they were finished fucking that he loved Nena and she knew he did, but he kept talking her out of her clothes because, like the rest of them, he was fucked up. That, and Nena wasn't any good in bed.

Still, despite knowing that Kaleb was only using her, at that moment, Candie was weak from everything that had happened with Reed, so she gave in and they ended up showering together. When it was over, he didn't say anything to her. Just got out of the shower, got dressed, and went downstairs, leaving her there alone.

Finally, Candie fell apart, and after a good hour of sitting on the shower floor crying, she managed to get dressed and leave. On her way out, she spotted Nena and Kaleb together on the living room couch, Nena wrapped in Kaleb's arms while they watched a movie. Apparently, Nena had forgiven Kaleb and suddenly, they were a couple again, leaving Candie to, once again, play the part of his "fuck buddy."

Now that she didn't have Reed anymore, Candie was on her own. She didn't want to live at home, where Craig could terrorize her and her mother could antagonize her, but she really had no other choice. Sure, she could ask to live with Tansy and she knew her friend would probably let her, but the thought of living in the same house as Kaleb scared her. Not that she thought he'd hurt her, Kaleb was a lot of things, but he wasn't her father or Craig. The thing that scared her was that, unlike assholes like Craig, Kaleb didn't have to force her. He was just scary good at talking her into it.

So, in the end, to avoid her family all together, including Donnie, Candie had gotten herself a job. It wasn't anything glamorous or wonderful. She was a waitress at a shitty little diner where half the customers blatantly hit on her and the other half crudely grabbed her ass as she walked by. Still, if she put up with it and even flirted a little like it didn't bother, the tips were good and she was able to rent herself an apartment even smaller than hers and Reed's had been.

Outside of work, Candie had forced herself to go back to school, but that wasn't really because she wanted to. It was more because she'd hoped to catch a glimpse of Reed. Half the time, she showed up high or drunk, the other half, she only stayed for a few classes before ditching. School held nothing for her anymore. Her reputation had only gotten worse, going from slut to crack whore and those four months she'd spent ditching school altogether had pretty much fucked her over as far as grades went. She didn't see the point of school anymore. She didn't feel like she'd ever amount to anything. She'd most likely end up a stripper or a prostitute at some point because sex was really all she knew. A stripper didn't need an extensive knowledge of chemistry to pay her rent.

Their group was a mess. Donnie and Lauren seemed sprung on each other, though Candie knew differently, while Collin and Tansy got back together as well as Nena and Kaleb. Kaleb was fucking her on the side, and she'd seen Reed so little, anything she knew about him came from Dimitri. She hadn't stopped fucking Dimitri, but now, instead of boredom, it was because she needed drugs. Her habits were expensive, but he was willing to fuel them if she'd fuck him so she was pretty much bending to his every will, knowing, the second she refused him or pissed him off, he'd cut her off and she'd be forced to face the reality of her shitty life.

Dimitri liked to torture her, telling her things about Reed and some young blond, Lea, that she'd rather not hear. He'd tell her how loud they were at night or talk about how hot Lea was, just to drive her crazy, knowing that, the crazier he made her, the more she needed his drugs to feel sane, and the more control he had over her.

About a week ago, Nena had found out that Kaleb had been cheating all over again and their breakup had been pretty ugly. Still, Kaleb kept coming back to her and she liked to think that maybe it was because she meant something to him, but she knew that was bullshit. She'd asked him once, while he was pulling his jeans on and getting ready to leave, if he could ever love her instead of Nena.

She knew the answer, but she'd been high so she'd asked anyway, pretending it didn't hurt when he turned and slapped her before grabbing her chin and looking her in the eye as he told her he didn't even like her. After that, she didn't talk about Nena around him anymore. It was obvious he didn't want her talking about his girlfriend because, somewhere inside, he felt like shit for cheating on her and Candie bringing it up only made it worse.

The prom was that night and she hadn't seen Kaleb all day. Candie knew why. He was spending his day trying to win Nena over so they could go together. Meanwhile, she was at work, pouring coffee for sleazy assholes who's eyes lingered too long, trying to avoid her boss, who was twice her age and a liked to stand way too close and touch her anytime he could. She had no plans to go to the dance. She'd have no one to go with. The only guys in her life weren't interested in her for her dancing. She had a dress hanging in her closet that she'd bought at the beginning of the year with Tansy, but it wouldn't get worn.

After getting her ass grabbed for the third time that night alone, Candie, starting to get irritated, tossed the coffee carafe down in the maker hard, pushing through the kitchen and into the storage room to be alone and cool off for a second. She tried to breathe deeply and relax before she flipped on someone completely before pulling out her bag of coke, wincing when she saw she only had enough left for a few lines, meaning she'd have to go back to Dimitri soon.

No sooner had she snorted it, than someone slipped into the room behind her and grabbed her arm, whirling her around. At first, she'd thought it was probably her boss coming to yell at her, but the person kissed her hard and fisted a hand in her hair and she smirked against his lips, knowing it was Kaleb. "I think it's your break time." He breathed against her lips as he pushed the blue dress she wore as a uniform up and lifted her so she could wrap her legs around his waist.

They fucked back there for a good two hours before they finally stopped and he zipped his jeans back up while she pulled her panties back on and fixed her dress. It wasn't until then that he told her why he was there. He wanted her to go to the dance with him. Candie knew it was only to piss Nena off and make her jealous, but in the end she'd agreed and they'd gone to her apartment so they could get ready before heading to the school.

The next month was awful without Tansy. Every single day was a chore. He woke up each morning and had to force himself to forget her all over again because she was always on his mind. He could never quite get away from her and it didn't help at all that he knew she was with Collin now.

That night at the party, he'd ended up in Lauren's bed and woke up feeling like shit. Of course, he didn't let her know that and still had yet to. As far as everyone around them knew, Donnie and Lauren were officially a "thing" and happy together, but that was complete bullshit. Sure, she thought they were happy and she was half right, she was happy. He, on the other hand, was miserable and only Candie knew.

He hid it well, but he'd been drinking a lot. He carried a small bottle of whiskey around on him at all times and the first thing he did every morning was wake up and get buzzed. Just enough that he was reasonably drunk, but not enough that anyone around him would be able to tell. When he was alone, he got completely wasted and that was when things got bad. He got violent and dangerously angry.

The only reason Candie knew about his problem was because she'd walked in on him in a drunken rage once and had accidentally ended up the target of his anger. He still couldn't really remember what he'd done and she wouldn't tell him, but all he knew was that, in the morning, she had a fat lip and black eye.

At the moment, he was sitting on Lauren's bed, waiting for her to come out of the bathroom while he drank some whiskey, not at all excited for the dance. When she finally did, she was dressed in a glittering bright blue dress, hair curled around her face and he smiled. She looked beautiful, but, even as he looked at her, he couldn't help but wish it was Tansy's beauty he was admiring.

He sighed and stood, walking over to her and kissing her cheek. "You look stunning babe." He breathed as he took her arm and slipped a corsage onto her wrist before hooking her arm in his and leading her down the drive, out to the car. Honestly, if he could, he'd have skipped the dance altogether, but Candie had been ignoring him so he hoped maybe she'd be there and he could corner her about what had happened that night.

Collin had ended up blowing Tansyā€™s vein, it bruised almost immediately. She shoved him away hard and that pissed him off enough he slammed her into the wall, taking her breath away and pinning her there. He pressed his lips to hers hard, grabbing her arm and digging his thumb into her skin above her blown vein. She let out a pained noise begging him to stop.

ā€œI wonā€™t tell you again babe.ā€ He spat, pressing harder into her skin. ā€œAct anything other than ecstatic tonight and Iā€™ll be joining my brother in prison and they wonā€™t find your body.ā€ He threated, his voice dead serious. ā€œAnd I swear to God Tansy, if I catch you with Donnieā€¦ā€ he trailed off with a smirk on his lips that scared the shit out of her.

He released his grip on her and she swallowed back a flood of tears. Her arm was burning and throbbing. She wanted to cover the bruise, but Collin told her there wasnā€™t enough time and laced his fingers with her, before leading her out to his car. Collin had broken her down even worse then sheā€™d been before, now she was terrified sheā€™d never get away from him. She slid into the car and he shut the door before climbing into the driverā€™s side and starting the car. She kept her eyes out the window rubbing the bruise on the inside of her elbow that was still burning and throbbing. She could feel his eyes on her.

ā€œIā€™m sorry baby.ā€ He breathed. ā€œYou know I love you, you just make me so fucking crazy.ā€ He breathed against her neck as his lips trailed her skin. Collin could control Tansy simply by drugs and heā€™d kept her sober for the past twenty four hours, which was part of the reason she was so fucking scared and part of the reason theyā€™d gotten the called on them. Sober she couldnā€™t handle Collin, high she could be worse than him which is why they got along.

ā€œYeah, I know.ā€ She shrugged, turning to him with a smirk on her lips, now that the drugs were setting in. ā€œYou can either fuck me or drive.ā€ She said holding his eyes and he laughed sitting back in his seat as he made his way towards the school.

Their drive to the school consisted of her hands down his pants and a dangerous make-out session. When they parked at the school they drank a bottle of liquor before snorting a few lines and finally heading inside. The Music was obnoxiously loud and of course it had to be some kind of rap song because thatā€™s all they knew how to play at their school dances. However by the time Tansy and Collin were actually inside, they could both careless because they were too high and laughing about nothing in particular. Collin had succeed in getting her high enough to believe they were actually happy again.

She laughed as he pushed her up against the wall and kissed her hard. ā€œMr. Bryce, Miss Everett. Donā€™t make me write the two of you up.ā€ Tansy pulled away from Collin only to glance up and see Mr. Peterson a teacher sheā€™d had a short fling with her freshman year and she raised a brow.

ā€œOf course. Sorry Peterson.ā€ She winked at him before pulling Collin towards the dance floor.

Reed was agitated. He waited impatiently in the car for Lea and when she finally got in the car he made her feel like shit. He felt bad, because she didnā€™t deserve it, but when he was stressed and had drugs in his system, he was impossible to even talk to. They argued the whole way to the dance, or more so he yelled and she apologized over and over again, trying her hardest not to cry and mess up her make-up. Sure he could break up with her, but he didnā€™t want to be alone and he didnā€™t want to let himself fall in love. Not to mention if she was pregnant Lux would take responsibility. Sure he was a total ass hole ever since him and Candie had broken up, but he was still decent enough to take responsibility for his mistakes.

When theyā€™d finally got to the school she was one more word away from completely falling apart and Lux sighed leaning over and grabbing her jaw a little rougher then he meant to. He was going to say the exact words that would get her to forgive him and fix things between them in a matter of seconds. It was scary how good heā€™d become at controlling people. Heā€™d promised himself heā€™d never become Collin or Kaleb, but that was exactly who heā€™d become.

ā€œL, babyā€¦you know Iā€™m just fucked up.ā€ He breathed holding her eyes. ā€œIā€™m stressed, I got a lot of shit to deal with you know that and you possibly being pregnant isnā€™t exactly something I was expecting.ā€ He sighed pressing his lips to hers and kissing her. ā€œLetā€™s just forget it and have fun tonight.ā€ He said before getting out of the car.

Before Reed had only gotten in bad moods when Candie fucked with him or when he was high, now he was always in a bad mood and he never apologized, it was like he didnā€™t know how anymore. Lea was good to him, in fact if he could ever manage to get over Candie they might even be happy together, because she treated him better than any girl had ever treated him. Sheā€™d never once cheated on him or threatened to leave him and she took all his bad with the good. He honestly felt bad for her, because he knew that deep down she knew heā€™d never really love her.

ā€œI know and Iā€™m sorry.ā€ She breathed as she laced her fingers with his. ā€œDid you take your medicine?ā€ She asked as a reminder went off on her phone.

ā€œYeah.ā€ He smirked, lying. He hadnā€™t taken his medicine in close to a week, but he didnā€™t want her to know that, because sheā€™d call his grandfather or the doctor and he honestly at this point was trying to kill himself, because he was tired of being without Candie.

Candie didn't want to go to the dance, least of all with Kaleb. Sure, it might be nice to actually dance with him and spend the night together with their clothes on for once, but only for her. For him, it was nothing but a mission to get Nena back by making her so jealous she couldn't stand it. Going with Kaleb would just cause drama and tension and she knew what would happen.

She'd get blamed for Nena's broken heart. Kaleb was the one who'd been cheating, but the crime would land in Candie's shoulders. She'd be the slut, she'd be the one who looked like a bitch for showing up with Kaleb, she'd be the one responsible for ruining their relationship all because of her reputation. No one would see her as a victim. No one would see how used she felt or how badly it hurt that Kaleb only wanted her there as a tool to get to Nena. Instead, she'd just be the slut who'd fuck anyone for no other reason than to be a bitch.

Candie had tried to talk Kaleb out of if. She'd practically begged him to stay home with her and fuck her instead, but he'd quickly gotten irritated with her and practically forced her to get ready. She couldn't argue with him when he had his hands around her throat. So she'd done as he'd asked and gotten ready, sitting with him in silence the whole ride to the school.

Finally, they showed up and he cut the engine and she reached for the door. Before she could get out, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. He turned her face towards his so she had to look him in the eye. "Look, I know I treat you like shit, so let me make it up to you, okay?" He said, tone suddenly apologetic, eyes soft and she knew it was a trap, but after weeks if being used and thrown away like a tissue, it was hard not to fall right into it. "Neither of us are here with who we want to be with, I get that, but let's just work with what we got. We'll have a good time and we don't have to fuck later unless you want it. I owe you one actual date." He shrugged with a smirk.

Candie couldn't help but smirk back, falling easily back under his spell and leaning in, kissing his lips. He slipped his tongue into her mouth, pushing a pill on her that she took willingly, glad he had drugs, seeing as she'd snorted the last of her coke just before they'd fucked back at the restaurant.

They stayed out there in the car for a while, making out pretty intensely before finally pulling away from each other. Candie fixed her lipstick quickly while he walked around and opened her door for her and she stepped out. Whatever he'd given her was good. Minutes ago, she'd been a walking bomb of anxiousness and nerves, but now, she was ridiculously carefree. All she wanted was to do what Kaleb had said and have a good time so she let him wrap an arm possessively around her waist like she belonged to him and lead her inside.

Lauren could tell something was wrong the second they got in the car and he tried to start it, but she reached over and swiped the keys. He turned his head to look at her, a "What the hell?" kind of expression on his face when he noticed the one on hers and his surprise dropped, becoming grim and angry. She had that "Something's wrong, I'm not an idiot." look on her face and it irritated him.

Talking to her wasn't as easy as it was with Tansy. Him and Tansy were comfortable together. He could fluidly speak for hours and not even know it with her. Lauren was kindhearted and meant well, but for some reason, he just had nothing to say to her. What was he supposed to do? Tell her he'd been drinking himself to death because he was miserable and missed Tansy? That would only hurt her. He didn't want to hurt her. She was good to him and didn't deserve to be hurt like that. She deserved a fair shot with the guy she loved, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't make himself love her back and it was aggravating.

"Baby..." She started softly and Donnie raised a hand to cut her off, knowing where she was going. She was about to ask him what was wrong, promise him he could trust her and all that crap. He knew he could trust her, but, again, if he told her what he was thinking, it'd just hurt her.

"I'm fine Lauren." He sighed, leaning over and kissing her cheek. "I'm just nervous about us all being under the same roof again." He shrugged, figuring that was a good enough excuse and she seemed satisfied with it because she kissed him and said something reassuring he didn't pay attention to before finally giving him back the keys.

Donnie pulled out and they drove to the school with the music playing softly between then. He drove with one hand, the other holding hers until they arrived and he smirked and kissed her before leading her inside.

Her and Collin grinded for a while and for once it actually felt good that he was treating her like his girlfriend instead of his sex toy. She knew it was only temporary, but sheā€™d been so heartbroken over Donnie for the last month that it felt good to actually feel wanted. One of Collinā€™s hands was up her dress rubbing her roughly while his other hand was fisted tightly in her hair kissing her hard, letting everyone around them know that she was his and it made her crazy the way he kissed her, but it was no comparison to the way she felt when Don kissed her.

ā€œThink I can get the keys from Peterson, we can fuck on the roof.ā€ Tansy smirk and Collin raised a brow. They both knew what she meant by that. Sheā€™d seduce him, fuck him, and get the keys. It was a bad idea considering he wasnā€™t the only teacher.

ā€œI hear he keeps a shit ton of booze in his desk. Work your magic baby. Get those keys and will cause some real trouble.ā€ Collin smirked kissing her hard, before Tansy slipped away. She was honestly surprised that heā€™d said yes, then again it wasnā€™t like he had any real competition when it came to Peterson, he wasnā€™t as good in bed as all the female student body like to think Tansy knew that first hand.

It took only a small amount of work to talk Darren Peterson, her freshman English teacher into the janitorā€™s closet. They fucked for a total of fifteen lousy minuets, before sheā€™d blackmailed him into giving her the keys. They snorted a few lines together, before she slipped out of the closet walking back towards the dance as she adjust her dress and managed to nearly run into Donnie and Lauren. Her eyes locked with Donnie instantly with Lauren. Her teachers keyā€™s in one hand as he passed the three of them adjusting himself and making it perfectly clear what theyā€™d just done.

Tansy wanted to run, she didnā€™t want to deal with Donnieā€™s disappointed glare or Laurenā€™s triumphantly arrogant smirk that sheā€™ ended up with Donnie. However thanks to her recent sex session and drug intake with her teacher she was feeling rather confident and instead of just walking away, she turned to her cold, bitter, bitchy self in a matter of seconds, wicked smirk on her perfectly glossed lips. Aside from the nasty bruise on the inside of her elbow, Tansy had a scary confidence about her that sheā€™d only ever had before her and Collin had been together.

ā€œI always knew you liked my sloppy seconds Lo.ā€ Tansy said turning her gaze to a girl that used to be just as close to her as Candie. ā€œHow does it feel being second bestā€¦I wouldnā€™t know.ā€ Tansy winked before turning back to Donnie but before she had the chance to speak Lauren spoke up.

ā€œYouā€™re just jealous Tansy! You ruin everything.ā€ Laurenā€™s voice was a weak yell and the pain in made Tansy feel bad although sheā€™d never admit it. Tansy laughed darkly.

ā€œJealous of what sweetheart?ā€ Tansy shrugged as she pulled a cigarette out of her bra and lit it. ā€œIā€™ve already had him, besides I have nothing to be jealous of. Heā€™s still in love with me and heā€™s miserable with you.ā€ She said cruelly. ā€œIsnā€™t that right Tae?ā€ she said flicking her eyes to him a dark smirk on her lips like she didnā€™t give a shit that she was totally destroying Lauren and she knew it would piss off Donnie, because heā€™d always been the one standing up for them or taking care of them when they were at their worst. Being with Collin turned her pure evil and even if she wanted to feel bad, it was like she couldnā€™t. She loved pissing people off.

Lux and Lea managed to make their way inside and he was already ready to leave the second they step inside because he was dreading seeing anyone, especially Kaleb. He had gone from practically being inseparable with Kaleb, to completely hating his guts. He was honestly scared that if he stayed as high as he was at the moment and he saw Kaleb and Canide heā€™d beat the shit out of Kaleb. He hadnā€™t done it that night when heā€™d caught the two of them together and the anger had been building up in him for the past month.

Instead of going to dance like every other couple, him and Lea sat towards the back of the gym at one of the tables. His eyes were focused on his hands in front of him. All he wanted to do was shoot up. His addiction had gone progressively worse, if that was even possible. It had gone so bad, that he couldnā€™t go more than an hour without putting something in his system.

ā€œDamn baby, your lookin fine as hell.ā€ Collinā€™s voice came from the seat next to Lea and Luxā€™s fists clenched out of habit. It didnā€™t matter that he knew Collin wouldnā€™t touch Lea, he wasnā€™t that stupid, but it still irritated the fuck out of him. ā€œWhy donā€™t you go grab us something to drink.ā€ he told Lea only it wasnā€™t an option he was ordering her.

ā€œFuck that Collin, get the hell out of here.ā€ She spat and Reed rolled his eyes. ā€œYou know heā€™s trying to get clean.ā€ She glared at Collin, at least thatā€™s what Reed had been telling her he was nowhere near trying to get clean.

ā€œIā€™ll be fine babe. I think I can handle myself.ā€ Lux glanced up to her with a smirk kissing her lips and she sighed nodding knowing that was her cue to leave them alone for the moment and she got up heading over to the drink table. Collin waited till she was out of ear shot before he handed Lux a bag of coke and Lux handed him the money. ā€œDonā€™t bring it up in front of my girl again.ā€ He threatened Collin. ā€œSheā€™s not Tansyā€¦you canā€™t just order her around.ā€ Reed spat and Collin raised a brow. It was clear that there was tension between everyone in the group for a multitude of reasons.
