Wild-Card Sword

a character in “Kill Celeste!”, as played by Cypher

Description

Name: Automated Unit, Heavy Lifting, Serial No. 09059 (Short Version: HL-09059; nicknamed "Hevee")
Age: 2
Race: Industrial Android
Home World: Androidtopia
Position: Sword
Appearance: As Hevee was designed to lift heavy objects, his creators gave his frame model a definite "function-over-form" shape. Everything about Hevee screams "huge" and "industrial"; the robot itself stands at around ten feet tall and its torso is roughly the size of a subcompact sedan, with large, reverse-jointed legs and three-toed, birdlike feet. Its arms are long and trunk-like and each one ends in three-"fingered" manipulators designed more for holding boxes than for fine motor activities. Its head sticks straight out from the top of its torso, and it is a large, cylindrical construct with one camera-lens eye and one three-lensed, rotating eye (has various optics). It has a seam that runs the full perimeter of its head which almost seems to give it a mouth, although it does not move - in reality it's the bottom half of his head, which contains his simple positronic brain and most of his sensory recording equipment and duty processors. It has a large backpack which is grafted to its back, from which extends a large black antenna. The side of the backpack has his serial number engraved on it.

Hevee's external plating is a burnished bronze color, except for the backpack, which is black and covered in all manner of beeping, blinking readouts and screens that only one versed in robotics could understand.
Weapon: Hevee has no weapons or combat training to speak of; his only combat advantages are his size and momentum, combined with his intimidating appearance.
History: Robots designed by DroidCo are the pinnacle of design advancement, fulfilling all of your possible needs with no need for things like pay, or food, or safety requirements. For twenty years, DroidCo has been the leading robotics company on Androidtopia, and for good reason - it wipes out the competitors with the sheer scale of its production. One of its most popular production lines is its industrial series; namely the Heavy Lifter series. The Heavy Lifters are renowned for their selfless dedication, indefatigable demeanor and inability to speak or do anything even remotely human, in combination with the fact that they're huge and capable of lifting very heavy objects that would otherwise require a whole team of workers.

09059, nicknamed Hevee by the people at the Androidtopia Packing and Shipping Company, began his life like any normal bot, with no speech capabilities or awareness of what was happening. He was the ideal worker - quiet and uncomplaining, with no hint of wanting a raise or wanting to strike or what-have you. That is, until a workplace accident involving several tons of spilled banana peels and a loose crate ended up smashing Hevee's positronic brain and joggling a few proverbial switches (actually the affair was much more complicated than that). In the most cliche of robot stories, Hevee was given a personality. This personality was extremely basic and almost childish in nature, but still. DroidCo wrangler teams (groups that went after self-aware robots) were dispatched after him and succeeded in capturing him, but they were unable to completely reclaim the robot. They stripped him of most of his chassis and some of his other equipment, but before they managed to finish the job and deactivate him, he was whisked away to Kill Celeste! Unfortunately, despite his being something of a fan favorite, he still cannot speak, and therefore relies on gesturing/semaphores and a series of mechanical whirrs, beeps and clicks (similar to an R2 unit, only more badass). It's a miracle that he even knows what he's after, really, seeing as nobody bothered to program him with the knowledge of the Heart Stones. Apparently it was just uploaded to his brain somehow.

Theme Song: 10001110101 (Get it? It's a song title in binary... 'Cuz he's a robot...)
Quote: Beep. Beepbeep. Click-click-whirr-beep. (Roughly translated: I have no mouth, and I must speak.)
Likes: Nothing.
Dislikes: Nothing.

So begins...
