Tobias is a true idealist, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. He can come off as calm, reserved, and a bit stuck up, but he has a deep passion for life and everything that comes with it. A poet at heart, he always wants to see the beauty in the world, and because of this he tends to turn a blind eye to the ugly truth when he can.
Tobias is creative, passionate, and hard-working, but because he is so private, it can be hard to truly get to know him. He is impractical and hates having to deal with data. When it comes to relationships, he is hardly rushing to commit to anyone. Despite his natural introversion, He is a very charismatic speaker and can be very charming when he wants to be.
|History|
Tobias Eli Young grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a small, tight-knit family. He was adopted by Jane and Elizabeth Young when he was a newborn, and he never knew his biological parents. He was well-liked among the creative types in school due to his looks and talent, and he never really made any enemies throughout elementary or high school. He married his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Douglas, when the two were 18 years old.
Then he got to Cathedral University. He rushed Nu Sigma Beta and quickly climbed up the social ladder, becoming the chapter president by his sophomore year. His unassuming exterior hid an ambitious streak that led Nu Sigma Beta to become the most notorious fraternity in the state, and entrance into the fraternity was highly sought after. Through parties, athletics, competitions, and academics, Nu Sigma Beta earned a reputation of excellence, along with its leader. And if some things had to be hidden to maintain that reputation, well, then that was just the price to be paid.
Tobias's wife left him soon after they graduated, but they remain legally married. He went on to get his masters and became an American Lit/Poetry professor for the very university he attended those years ago. He still donates to Nu Sigma Beta and attends many of their more official events as an alum.
