Ethan's stubborn. He just won't roll over to anyone's requests, which of course is why it drives him crazy that he was made specifically to serve someone else's needs. He just want's to do what's important to him, and nothing else. But what is important to him? He has absolutely no clue. Ethan can be rather pessimistic, never feeling the need to romanticize reality and normally thinking only of the worst possible situation. Though, just because he's harsh doesn't mean he's heartless. Ethan has his moments of his own version of sympathy, not quite sympathy, a sort of mix of pity and empathy. If that makes sense at all; all he knows is he can't quite explain it. Ethan, being he stubborn little doll he is, always thinks he's right. He will most definitely argue his point to the end, even if he realizes he's wrong mid-argument. And you bet he doesn't like the system, but at the same time he hardly knows anything about the current state of anything. Yes, Ethan realizes that he's an ass half the time, the other half the time he never see's what he's done wrong. Sarcasm is also a big part of his tone, sometimes he doesn't even realize that he's doing it. He's basically a jerk who will willingly fight and argue even though he's really an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. But he doesn't like silence, doesn't like it when he sees people upset, or too happy for that matter.

History:
Sometimes he feels as though he was made by mistake, or as some cruel joke. All Ethan knew was that he was made in that impersonal lab, then shipped off to the elderly woman, Velma, who ordered him custom made. He didn't know if he was meant to resemble someone or was just a concoction of the old woman's mind. But apparently he was exactly what she requested, and he doesn't think he'll ever forget the content in those eyes as she looked up to them. Every morning he would begrudgingly be by the old woman's side, but after some time, he felt as though it wasn't so much of him being ordered to do so, rather wanting to do it. Ethan didn't get to enjoy the moments of actually wanting to spend time with the elderly woman before she died. It ate at him, but what absolutely killed him was being shipped back off to the highest bidder before he was able to attend the funeral. He had a whirlwind of emotions inside him, unable to get over the fact he couldn't even go to her funeral while most anyone else could when he was the only one who was by her deathbed. He never figured out why Velma made him the way he was, only knowing what she told him like how the arguments he would have with her was one of the things that kept her blood pumping, just like 'he' did.

After Velma, he was rather popular with the teenage girls, practically hating every girl who asked him if he'd ever consider getting a motorcycle and giving them rides and eventually revealing his soft side. Ethan hated every question the annoying girls would throw at them, considering shutting himself down at points. At the moment he's found himself in between buyers, mainly because he finally yelled at the last girl to shut her trap before he stapled it shut.
