<Sikes>

Then sudden falling down along with Azoth that was carrying him knocked him awake as he ground, sitting up on the ground as he painfully rubs the back of his head that hit the ground. He was still dazed, but was starting to come around.

"W-what happened?" Her muttered out as he looked around, seeing an unfamiliar place around him. The hitting of his head and the passing out from before still having him with a foggy head as looked around all confused.

"What's going on?...Where's the Masters?...Where is everyone?" He continued saying questions as he slightly got onto his feet, trying his best to not tip over. Still a bit wobbly with his legs, he staggers a bit.

<Xero>

"The members of the Alliance are underwhelming, if you didn't tell us to hold back we would have had Radiant Garden and no one to oppose us. Oh well, that might have made it boring."

Xero looked up as the one named Maverick stepped into the hall, with Nazo following into the room not long behind him.

"So Xero, whats the next part of your plan since it seems you've already started it I'd like to know a bit more of what I can look forward to," Nazo asked him as a clever smirk formed on Xero's face.

"Simple really, the pawns have been set into motion. Now all that we need to do, and guide them on their way." He gives off a chuckle as stood from his throne, swinging his arm across as he looks at the two of them.

"Go to the nearby worlds and lay a trail for them to follow from world to world and take some of my new pets this time. The Heartless may be many, but my Shades are the one thing that will guide this plan into completion."

Derran was up walking around in his bathroom. He was washing his hands from a meal the servants had made for him. Derran wasn't all that much for eating at the moment but they persuaded him otherwise. Of course he did need the nourishment to replenish his energy from all of the blood lost. Still Derran didn't eat all too much, his appetite really wasn't much of anything. After he washed his hands he looked at the bandages wrapped around his torso shifting to a sudden incline once it came to his left shoulder. The left shoulder was completely covered. They said he would have to keep the bandages on for a few days until the wound fully closes, they also said he might be left with a scar. It didn't matter to Derran the gash wasn't deep enough for him to lose his arm and that's all that matters to him. He would resume training immediately but they implored him to not do anything strenuous for fear of reopening the wound, if Derran did that then he might really lose his arm. Frustrated by this there wasn't much for him to do so Derran decided to wander about the halls of the manor.

Derran dressed himself in a new shirt and pants and placed on new shoes. His coat at the moment was being cleaned and stitched up. Derran wandered the halls, servants never to far from reach, as he looked for his father. Soon enough Derran bumped into his sister Vanessa. "Derran!" She cried as he ran up to him doll in hand. "Vanessa." he responded listlessly. "Look at my new dollie!" Vanessa spoke triumphantly as she held up the doll. Derran not paying any particular interest spoke, "Hm, that's nice...hey where's father?" Derran spoke quickly changing subject. "Oh um he's in the the um, uh, study?" "Yeah the study." Vanessa spoke as she began to play with the doll. "Is she pretty Derran is she?" Vanessa spoke incessantly placing the doll up to Derran. "Yeah, yeah thanks." Derran spoke sounding less than sincere as he moved passed Vanessa heading towards the study. Vanessa soon gave a put and then a frown as she looked at the doll. "Well I think your pretty." She muttered to herself in a rather sad tone.

Derran entered the study to find Oster sitting behind his desk with a book upon his desk. "Father?" Derran cautiously called out. "Hm?" Oster snapped awake it seemed as he pulled his head away from the book. "Derran?" "Ah my boy yes what is it?" "Are you feeling more better?" Oster asked concerned. "Yes I'm fine father." Derran spoke rather plainly. "That's good I know nothing can keep a good Leradine down!" Oster spoke rather boisterously as he gave a hearty laugh. He soon stopped short as he looked upon the serious countenance of Derran. "Is there something troubling you my son?" "You seem distracted." Oster asked concerned. "Oh, it's nothing," Derran some what lying, "I was just wondering were Lineage is?" Derran asked. "Oh well I placed it in the family armory but your not considering resuming training are you?" Oster asked more than bit worried. "No, no I know I'm not suppose to do anything, I just wanted to know where it was." Derran spoke as he looked around the study. There where many bookshelves and a fire place in the middle of the right wall of the room. There were comfort chairs standing before it. "Well don't do anything unwise son, I wouldn't want anything more serious to happen to you." Oster warned. "Now is there anything else you need my son?" Oster asked. "No, nothing father I'll be going now." Derran said as he left for the door. "Alright take care my son." Oster said as Derran closed the door behind him.

Derran soon made his way to the family armory. He opened the door behind the family crest and entered the white walls of the armory. Derran closed the door behind him as he walked down the armory halls. Derran moved passed various blades, armors, shields, projectile weapons and such. There was quite a collection, a lot of it from the widely traveled ancestors of the Leradines. There were many artifacts from different worlds, mementos of the Leradines accomplishments in the Alliance. Derran took the time to look at the many treasures and artifacts. History was all here on display as Derran remembered the times his father would spend telling him of each and everything. Oster always had a proud look when taught Derran of the Leradine history. Told stories of their travels and what they would bring back from those travels, it fueled the imagination for Derran for many years. At the end of the hall Derran looked upon Lineage. The blue broadsword stood with pride behind it's glass case. A light constantly shined down upon it, reveling in it's glory as always. Out of all of the artifacts in the room Lineage was the only thing not from another world. The sword was in fact made by an ancient ancestor of the Leradines. Derran remembered his name, Galen, Galen Leradine. Galen was a famous blacksmith, one of the best. Many from far and wide would come to him to make them a weapon of great craftsmanship. The blades he made were fine and strong, and were the envy of many a warrior. While Galen lent his talents for a price, he would in secret create his masterpiece. A sword that would be made with only the finest of materials and crafted to be the strongest most durable blade he could possibly make. It was a challenge but it was a labor of love and soon he would create the undeniable blue broadsword of the Leradines. The sword is certainly one of a kind in every sense of the word. It's probably why Nazo was interested in Lineage. There isn't another one like her in the universe for it is the only one made. For generations this sword has been in the family since Galen made it, used it, and passed it to his son.

Derran looked at Lineage for a long time and while he contemplated going against his orders he knew he shouldn't. Derran sighed, while he longed to return to training he couldn't risk further debilitating injury. Derran stepped away from the sword and left the armory. Derran continued to walk the manor and made his way back to his room. He stared at his bed already made up again and the tray of food gone. Derran sat upon his bed and began to think about that flash of light from earlier. He wondered what it was. He hoped that the other members investigated it by now. It certainly was bright enough to not be ignore, unless of course you we're inside the whole time. Of course Derran found it unlikely since most members were outside dealing with the fires. Derran sighed he felt like he should at least look at what happened. As Derran headed for the front door he was stopped short by a servant. "Oh young master!" cried the servant as she ran up to him. "Here's your other coat!" She exclaimed as he handed him a coat that was pretty much the same as the other brown one he usually wears. It was his spare as Derran reached out and took it. "Thanks." Derran dully spoke as he placed one arm through it but when he went to placed his left he grimaced in pain. Noticing the discomfort the servant rushed to his left side to help. "Oh please young master let me do that!" She cried as she gently placed the coat over his injury. Derran didn't like being waited on like this, it made him feel feeble but he wasn't going to make a scene of it today. "Thanks again." Derran spoke sounding sincere enough. Derran left the manor and made his way to where he saw the light.

Rania was waiting for Azer to answer when at that moment she heard familiar shouting from behind her and was tackled and squeezed in a hug. Dante was definitely up and awake. Also very active with talking. That's Dante Leonhart alright. After he bombarded questions on her about what happened at radiant garden Azoth's presence caught his attention and they tried to introduce each other to one another. Then Azoth fell asleep again.

"Gr! That lazy recruit! How many times does he fall asleep during the day!?" she muttered angrily to herself. "Dante, yes, I'm fine. Derran's fine too, he got injured and is resting it off back at his place. Though I think your little light show got his attention and sooner then later he might go to the site to see what it was. But now you have to answer me some questions." She then wrapped her arms around him and gave him a good squeezing hug. "When we were attacked the attackers said you and the Masters had fallen. I thought you were dead! What happened at the land of departure and don't you dare leave anything out Dante. Also, don't ever scare me like that again, okay?"

She let go of him after the hug and again stroked the annoying lock of red hair in his face. She smiled before turning towards a sound of groaning as the other Apprentice keywielder awoke wondering what's going on. "Well I'm wondering the same thing boy. I was about to have Dante tell us in detail what he remembers, but you can add your two munny in in a minute. Just sit down, you look like you got knocked on the head good."

Dante

Dante reaches out to shake the new guy's hand. "Hi, I'm Az-" When he stops and then falls over backwards, asleep. "Well....... Az...... Pleasure to meet you." He turns towards Rania who looks angry and he hears her mutter. Gr! That lazy recruit! How many times does he fall asleep during the day!?" Dante looks back at Az wondering how often he just passes out in the middle of a conversation when Rania goes on to explain that Radiant Garden was attacked and how Derran got injured and is resting back at his home, did Derran forget about Cure Magic? How do you forget Cure magic? After Rania was done talking, which Dante didn't pay much attention to since he was thinking, she embraced him in a hug.

She explains how one of the attackers said that the Masters and Students had fallen and how she thought i was dead. Then she tells him to explain what happened and not to scare her again before letting go and moving a strand of his hair out of his face, which just falls back into place and Dante looks at it with a unapproving look. Dante smiles at Rania when he notices Sikes getting up from the bed and ask what was going on. "Well Sikes.... Right now you are in My, Rania's and Derran's club house on Radiant Garden which was recently attacked. I don't know about any of the other students.... only you, Azer and I made it here to Radiant Garden. The Masters are the ones that saved us so i'm sure they are out there, somewhere fighting. They have to be. But before we explain to much, we should get Derran. I don't want to have to repeat the story so Sikes, since you look like you might pass out again why don't you sit and recuperate. Rania, do you think you can show me where the light and I appeared? You said Derran might go to investigate it so lets start there." Dante says.

Derran walked over to where he saw the light appear from. Derran made his way around the castle grounds to the point of interest and found nothing. Strangely, Derran would figure something had to have happened from this. It can't be nothing but just a light show could it? No, it wouldn't make any sense at all. There must have been some sort of reaction to this event and Derran decided to investigate the area. If something appeared perhaps it left clues or some sort of evidence. Derran wandered not too far from where the light appeared and searched for anything strange. It seemed nothing was out of the ordinary which served to frustrate Derran even more. Derran wished he thought to bring potions while he was there for Lineage. At the moment all he could think about was being there in the fight. For once, what he always dreamed about happeninng became a reality. Derran was there and he was going to save Radiant Garden from the forces of darkness. He was going to become the hero he wanted to be. Yet, his dream turned into a nightmare. The enemies he faced where much more powerful than he could imagine. He has heard of powerful warriors of darkness that could call forth the Heartless because of the evil in their hearts. Derran never imagined they actually still existed.

What a foolish hope. Of course they would still exist, as long as their is darkness in every heart some will allow to consume them. Perhaps Derran didn't think they would show themselves right in front of the Alliance. Oh how wrong he was. These enemies are not only powerful but audacious as well. They will attempt anything just to destroy the light. Derran's mind kept on trailing back to their fight...the words they spoke...did the keywielders fall? Derran began to doubt it but, what if it is possible? How did they do it? All of this was troubling and still no sign about where or what the flash of light was all about. Derran searched the grounds and a bit beyond and still found nothing. What just happened here? Derran began to growl in frustration. "Fine!" "Whatever it was it doesn't matter now." "I'm sure whatever happened Rania and Azoth took care of it." "The only thing that matters now is that I resume my training." "The enemy is strong and I must become stronger...," Derran paused,"...I won't let whatever happened to the Land of Departure happen here." Derran spoke to himself.

Derran stared up at the sky from where the light shone down. Maybe what happened was a sign. Perhaps something was telling him to become stronger, to carry on the strength of the light. Perhaps he should leave Radiant Garden and track down Nazo or Maverick. Why should he wait for them to show themselves again? If they decided to appear again that would most certainly mean they are ready to finish them off. Derran isn't going to stand around and wait for death, he needs to become stronger and find those that dared to attack his home and make them pay. Derran then began to consider the others. It wouldn't be all that wise if he went by himself. He should bring Rania and Azoth along as well. They are strong and if they too become stronger then perhaps they can defeat them next time. Well at least they could overwhelm one of them. If Nazo and Maverick joined forces again, together they are too much but separate, they stand a better chance. Then comes the next problem, where are they? Even if he manages to drag Rania and Azoth along how are they going to find them? It's not like they can just walk around the next corner and find them standing there. There's got to be a better way to handle things.

All of his time thinking Derran began to gain feeling back in his shoulder. It seems the potion has ran it's course and although they might not like it, it's time for Derran to continue. It's time to initiate a plan. First Derran needs to find Rania and Azoth and tell them what's they should do next. Yet, where could they be? They're not here meaning they already investigated this place. Could they be back at base? Maybe. Derran decided to head back to the base, hopefully he could find them there.

#, as written by Mituna
They arrived to a small house soon. Azer noticed the words 'Club Members Only' on the front door. The young woman unlocked the door with her key and everyone entered the house. Rania told Azoth to set Sikes down while she went to another room to put Dante there. "Nothing to do now but wait till they wake up I'm afraid." she said when she came back. "Now, Miss Azer, can you tell us what happened at the Land of Departure? Where are the Masters?" As Azer thought about where to start, she noticed Dante appear in the doorway. Slowly, he crept towards the blonde girl with a grin on his face. Once he was close enough, he yelled her name, which Azer learned was Rania, and tackled her down with a hug. He bombarded her quickly with questions that Azer couldn't catch. He then turned his attention to Azoth.

"Who's the business man?" he asked and Azoth put his hand out to greet him.

"Hi, I'm Az-" He didn't get a chance to finish because he fell back into the ground. If Azer hadn't been so tired, she probably would've reacted in time and caught him. After a moment of silence, the sound of snoring followed. Rania glared down at him and muttered something incoherent. It didn't last long before she turned her attention back to Dante and answered his questions. She hugged him and continued saying to him but Azer catch it because she noticed Sikes waking up.

"W-what happened?" he questioned as his dazed eyes look around. "What's going on?...Where's the Masters?...Where is everyone?" The questions continued as he got to his feet. It was evident he was still not in a good state by the way he was staggering.

"I can stay and look after these two," Azer offered and glanced at the two she was referring to. It would also be a good chance to rest for a bit.

Rania nodded at Dante in approval. "Alright Dante, we'll go find Derran then, I have a bad feeling that he's going to get himself into some kind of trouble." She walked out the door and waited for Dante to catch up. "One of these days we'll have to redecorate that clubhouse a bit. The main Alliance base is trashed. So I wonder about converting that into a base. We'll see though."

As she said this she started to walk back towards the castle grounds to see if Derran would be there. "Come on slowpoke, I bet I can still beat you in a race!" she shouted towards Dante as she started to jog towards it. "Or has training slow you down?" She asked jokingly as she started to turn around and jog backwards. "Don't you miss the old days before you left for keyblade training Dante? Oh By the way, can you show it to me, or are you still learning how to hold it?"

Dante

Dante looks at Azer. "Don't ruin the place." He says jokingly before he walks out after Rania who mentions something about redecorating their clubhouse. "Yeah, remember when we thought it was the coolest place ever? It would be even cooler as the main base for the Alliance!" He says as he follows Rania towards the castle grounds when Rania challenges him to a race. "Oh i doubt that!" He takes off and easily catches up because she was running backwards and asking about if he missed the old days then asking is she can see his Keyblade. "Yeah i miss hanging out with you guys." He stops running. "As for my Keyblade." He says with a sly grin. "I guess i can show you." He swings his arm as if attacking an enemy and summons his keyblade, after his swing ends the Keyblade vanishes from his hand and he swings his other hand and his Keyblade reappears in his grasp and he repeats with his right hand and holds it out to show Rania. "Pretty cool right? I got bored with the traditional way of using swords, so i decided to make it a little harder to block my attacks. I figured that since the keyblade can be called back if it gets knocked out of your hand, so i figured that why not be a little unique with that ability? And so i tend not to summon my Keybalde until i am right about to strike then quickly making it switch to my other hand for a follow up. Pretty cool huh?" He explains how he uses his weapon with a big grin on his face.

=======================================================
Maverick

After being told to go to other worlds and to use the new creatures called Shades. Maverick Smiles. "Well this should be fun! I enjoy seeing the Worlds at least once before they are changed." He turns around and walks into a Corridor of Darkness. Maverick thinks for a moment as which world he should go to first. After a moment he knows a good world to start at, one that he thought was interesting because it's residents lived their lives unaware of what war was being waged between good and evil spirits unseen to them. He emerges from the Corridor on top of a building from which he can see a big town where the people are moving along the streets, some dressed in business attire or school uniforms. As he was standing there he hears a loud, inhuman roar which none of the people on the street react to. Maverick looks across to the other building and he sees two people dressed in black samurai outfits complete with swords, but the guy's sword is much larger than the girls. Maverick notices that the guy looks over at him but looks at the girl when she starts speaking and he takes that moment to jump into a dark corridor and reappears in an alleyway. "Well, i suppose now is a good time to get started."

As Derran walked down the road towards the base, his mind still heavy with the day's events. It starts off as a normal day, nothing amazing, just ordinary. First, he arrives at the base, nothing too surprising and nothing out of the ordinary. There was the exception of the new recruit Azoth, but it wasn't entirely surprising. The Alliance has recently received a string a brand new recruits lately. It was fortunate though Azoth did appear, his skills were essential in fighting back the Heartless. The Heartless...Derran never suspected they would attack the Alliance like that. Of course he didn't expect the assistance of people like Nazo or Maverick either. It troubled him that people like that even existed without anyone's notice! He supposes they could have remained hidden from the knowledge of people like the Masters, but it just seemed ridiculous. Just who were they?

As Derran walked towards the base, his mind a racing he comes by a familiar sight. He looked off to see Rania and...and...it can't be. Derran ran over towards where he saw Rania and the other guy, whom he assumes to be the one person he didn't expect to see. Derran came close enough to hear the tail end of their conversation. . Pretty cool huh?"

Derran walked up, barely coming within sight of them and before they could notice, Derran spoke. "Well...you don't look all that much dead to me." Derran spoke rather dryly. Derran then walked up right next to Rania as he looked over he way. "So, I assume you and Azoth figured out what caused the pillar of light by now." Derran looked over to Dante with an almost accusatory stare. Derran's eyes slipped from Dante's face down to his right hand and straight at the keyblade. The Keyblade. There it was in his hands and it just seemed to mock him. That accursed day again ran by his head when Dante was chosen for training. Now it seems after all this time he was destined to wield it. He saw from a distance how he used it, so fluidly...it just continued to twist a knot in his gut. After Derran shot a glare at the keyblade he returned his head back to the eye level of those around him.

"So then Dante...welcome back!" Derran spoke pulling off a smile. "Your really going to have to teach me how to cheat death." Derran said as he managed a laugh.

Rania nodded in admiration. "That is very impressive Dante. I'm sure Derran will be to." She stated before out of nowhere Derran walks to the group giving a greeting to Dante. "Derran, I thought you were resting your wound! Sometimes I worry about your curiosity sometimes."

She watched as Derran smiled at Dante and give a laugh about how Dante managed to survive. "He's not alone Derran. Two other apprentices are also here recuperating at the Clubhouse. With the current situation of the Base being wrecked, we need a temporary base until repairs can be made." Rania said to Derran describing the situation. "Once we hear what on earth happened on Dante's end, we'll figure out where to go from there."

She turned to walk towards the Clubhouse once again. "Come on boys, we have a lot of work to do."

Azoth

Opening his eyes Azoth saw a ceiling, he wondered for a moment why he was looking at such a thing before sitting up and noticing that Rania and the other guy had left. Now only Azer and the guy he'd carried were here. He looked at each of them, Azer would probably be able to answer his questions better. "Umm, Azer was it? just wondering exactly what your doing at Radiant Gardens anyway? also what world did you come from?" Azoth asked her, wondering why she'd come here in that beam of light with those two guys. Azoth stood up and stretched wondering for just a second why he was even on the floor. He sat down on a chair waiting for Azer's answer.

Dante

Dante smiles at Rania when she compliments his abilities when someone speaks from behind them. "Well...you don't look all that much dead to me." he says before walking up next to Rania. Is...that...? Dante thinks when Rania speaks up "Derran, I thought you were resting your wound! Sometimes I worry about your curiosity sometimes." she says "So, I assume you and Azoth figured out what caused the pillar of light by now." The man continues while giving Dante a stare as if he did it, and he kinda did but he notices the look on his face when he looked at his Keyblade before looking back up at Dante. "So then Dante...welcome back!" He says with a smile. "Your really going to have to teach me how to cheat death." He said, laughing afterwards.

"Derran? DERRAN!" Dante says as he runs forward with a big goofy grin on his face. "Dude! It's been too long! As for how i cheated death.... i never really died, not to mention one of the Masters saved us." His face droops into a frown. "Although... they only saved two others and my self as Rania said... i don't think any others were saved. It's too bad.... they were good people. And those that.... got...eaten by the creatures..." He trails off before he looks at Derran smiling. "All the more reason to make sure that what ever threat is out there is dealt with, too make sure their loss is not in vain. And since the Masters saved us... that means they have to be alive, they have to be out there finding out whats going on and finding a way to stop it." He says with a determined look on his face as he looks at his Keyblade before he dismisses it.Rania says that once they hear what happened at the Land of Departure they will figure out what to do from there and she begins to walk towards the club house again saying. "Come on boys, we have a lot of work to do." He looks at Derran. "C'mon. you can get a fuller story from everyone else." He turns and follows Rania.

"Don't ruin this place," Dante warned jokingly at Azer. It got a small smile from her and she send him a quick nod for assurance. Dante and Rania left after that, leaving Azer alone with Azoth and Sikes. Azer found herself needing to sit down on the couch. Her muscles relaxed and she couldn't help but let out a soft sigh. Her eyes glanced over at Sikes who still seemed fairly exhausted.

"You should rest for the moment. It might take them a while to get back," she suggested. In the corner of her eyes, she noticed something moving. Her head snapped forward to see Azoth was waking up. His eyes flickered from Sikes to Azer before they finally rested on her.

"Umm, Azer was it? just wondering exactly what you're doing at Radiant Gardens anyway? Also what world did you come from?" he asked her. Her head tilted to the side, a habit of hers when she's confused. Hadn't she explained it before? Azer quickly came to the conclusion Azoth forgot, maybe because of when he passed out or maybe that's just how he was. Azoth then stood up and took a seat on a chair. Once Azer figured out he was waiting for her to answer, she decided not to fret about it and instead began answering his questions.

"Ah. I'm from the Land of Departure, as well as Sikes and Dante," she began speak and signaled to Sikes. "We were..." Images of what had happened before began to flood her mind. It was the first time she had time to think about what had happened back then. She quickly forced them out of her head and cleared her throat before continuing. "We were attacked. With the masters' help, we managed to survive and come here."

Derran noticed Rania speak up before Dante had time to answer. She mentioned his wound which made Derran look towards his shoulder where Nazo gashed it. He remembers the lightning quick slashes and Derran's slower reaction time. If he had been any slower he would have lost his head right there and then. Still no time to dwell on the past as of yet he has company to attend to. "Pfft!" Derran raspberries as he makes a sweeping wave of his hand. "I'll have plenty of rest when I'm dead." "Besides," Derran shrugs, "My Dad's servants slipped me a Hi-Potion, I feel better!" Derran spoke casually trying to reassure Rania. Then Rania goes on to explain more about the situation as others arrived with Dante.

"Really?" "They're at the old Clubhouse?" "I didn't take you for the nostalgic type Rania buuuuuuut, it's as good a place as any, well except for some dust bunnies probably." Derran spoke as he scratched his head. He then gave a long drawn out sigh. "Yeah," Derran pause has his tone and face became serious, "I too want to hear if these rumors are true about the Keywielders." Derran turned to Dante who then came into a burst of energy. "Derran? DERRAN!" Dante says as he runs forward with a big goofy grin on his face.

"Same old Dante."
Derran thought to himself.

And since the Masters saved us... that means they have to be alive, they have to be out there finding out whats going on and finding a way to stop it."

Derran mulled over Dante's words. "So those heartless bastards weren't just blowing smoke." Derran thought to himself. "How could they do it though?" "They couldn't have attacked both Radiant Gardens and the Land of Departure, could they?" "No, no one can be in two worlds at once." Derran thought for a while until Rania's voice broke his train of thought. "Come on boys, we have a lot of work to do." Then Dante spoke, "C'mon. you can get a fuller story from everyone else." Derran walked alongside Dante as he follows Rania. Derran noticed Dante was unsure of who attacked them outright and he felt Dante was troubled by this. Derran would be too, if the same thing happened here with everyone dying and only he and Rania and Azoth surviving, he would definitely like some answers.

"So you have no idea who attacked you is that it?" Derran spoke to Dante. "If you want to know what kind of threat is out there I'll tell you right now." Derran spoke his voice noticeably growing irritable. "There's two of 'em." "Two guys attacked the Base and started a fire." "They came out of nowhere with tons of Heartless!" "That wound Rania mentioned, one of them did that," Derran spoke pointing to his injured shoulder. "He or IT I should say, is a Heartless but unlike any I have ever heard about." "A real freak of nature." Derran venomously spoke. "It could speak for crying out loud!" "Called itself Nazo." Derran's voice trailed off with signs of resentment. Derran paused a moment and then looked at his shoulder and then to Dante and Rania, and then to the street.

"The other guy I heard him call himself Maverick I believe." Derran paused to reassure himself and then nodded his head. "Yeah that's right, he looks human enough compared to the Heartless." "He's the bastard that started the fire." "You see he used a bunch of swords and lit them on fire and tossed them at us." "He's also a real smug jerk." Derran spoke not looking at Dante or Rania but just staring intently down the road. He seemed to be lost in thought.

"Derran, that's a pretty good description of those guys, but we need to piece together both sides of this story to see if both attacks were what they were." Rania stated as she reached the door to the clubhouse, and opened it. "Hello everyone, we're back with Derran!" She said in a cheerful tone. "Now Derran, over there is Azer, and I didn't catch his name but he's a bit more hurt then the others, he has a good bump on his head."

Rania then went towards an empty chair and seated herself the way a woman would. "Now then, let's try and figure what went on between both worlds. We were attacked by two people, and yes Derran, one of those people was a strange heartless that could talk. Which is highly unusual, how did he manage to pull that off?" She mused before turning back to the subject. "On the other hand, the Land of Departure was dealing with a problem of it's own. So Dante, Azer, can you try to explain as best you can what happened to the Land of Departure?" She asked in a careful, gentle tone to try not to panic the dark haired young man on the couch.

Wait...They were attacked by Heartless?[/b] Dante thinks to him self as Derran continues on [i]A talking Heartless? Like...Ansem the Seeker of Darkness that aster Sora and Master Riku fought...

"The other guy I heard him call himself Maverick I believe." Derran paused to reassure himself and then nodded his head. "Yeah that's right, he looks human enough compared to the Heartless." Derran spoke not looking at Dante or Rania but just staring intently down the road. He seemed to be lost in thought. Then Dante Listens to Rania talk about how the description was good but he wasn't really listening as he was trying to understand what was going on and soon they are back at the Clubhouse. "If you guys were attacked by regular Heartless.....Then maybe there are two groups out there. Because we weren't attacked by Heartless." He says as he sits on a dusty old crate.

"These Creatures we fought at the Land of Departure... They didn't attack like Heartless, they didn't try to steal hearts. They down right killed them... and ate the bodies and had red eyes and teeth. And when we would kill one, it didn't vanish but turned into liquid darkness that seeped into the ground, and i can only guess that it corrupted the world." Dante pauses as he thinks about all those that were killed and his lip quivers with anger and sadness. "Worse yet," He continues. " Was when this guy, who was obviously the leader, kinda floated down out of the sky from the storm that came with the Creatures a whole crap ton more appeared. That's when the Masters went out to fight them.... at least i think it was after the winged dude appeared.... it was happening so fast. So the Masters went out there to fight them, tried to get them farther away from the students, but that's when something weird happened.

"The liquid from the slain creatures rose out of the ground and began to pool together to create one giant monster. That was when it clicked in my head that we have lost, because if the little ones gave off darkness then this big one would give alot more. So the Masters Slayed the monsters and this tidal wave of darkness began to spread over the world, and it was coming towards the main building where we were and Sikes tried to Use magic to hold it off, but it didn't last long." He says as he remembers being sucked down into darkness and being smothered by it, remebering how scared he was. "Then i was floating in Darkness, i couldn't see, i was losing all feeling, becoming numb when this brilliant light appeared in the distance and it grew bigger and brighter, and i slowly got warmer and could feel again when i heard the voice of one of the masters saying not to give up and that as long as we have the keyblade we could fight the darkness. Then the light took us here, and so thats about what happened."

Derran leaned against the wall of the old clubhouse. It was dusty and a bit stuffy from him, still at least they have a place to discuss tactics and such. What interested Derran was Dante's story, from what he describes it sounds different than what they went through. Dante assumes there's two groups, since they were attacked by something different then Heartless. What could it be?

"These Creatures we fought at the Land of Departure... They didn't attack like Heartless, they didn't try to steal hearts. They down right killed them... and ate the bodies and had red eyes and teeth. And when we would kill one, it didn't vanish but turned into liquid darkness that seeped into the ground, and i can only guess that it corrupted the world." So the Masters went out there to fight them, tried to get them farther away from the students, but that's when something weird happened.

Derran noticed how upset this made Dante, it sounds down right traumatic. What kind of creature can do this? What also disturbed him was that they had a leader, like the Heartless did. There bad enough on their own without being organized. A winged leader? Hm, strange. He continued to hear Dante's story.

"The liquid from the slain creatures rose out of the ground and began to pool together to create one giant monster. That was when it clicked in my head that we have lost, because if the little ones gave off darkness then this big one would give alot more. So the Masters Slayed the monsters and this tidal wave of darkness began to spread over the world, and it was coming towards the main building where we were and Sikes tried to Use magic to hold it off, but it didn't last long." Dante stared off into the distance and thought deeply over what happened. As he mulled it over he remembered the way Maverick spoke, as if they weren't alone in this. It can't be a coincidence that Maverick happened to know that the Land of Departure was lost. No, Derran has the suspicion that this was all planned. Feeling the seriousness of the deduction Derran spoke up. "I am sorry to hear about what happened at the Land of Departure." "About you," Derran points at Dante, "And all of you." Derran waved his arm in an encompassing manner. "And about the Masters and the other Keywielders." "But I don't think these were two separate events." "This may sound disturbing but I have the sinking feeling this was all organized." "I mean the attacks on both the Land of Departure and Radiant Gardens?" Derran gave shrug of disbelief. "I don't think that happened to be a coincidence." "I think our two threats are one, I mean Rania, Azoth, didn't Maverick's last words before he left struck a little odd to you?" "As if he was talking about another person." Derran mentioned trying to coax their memory. "All I know that this is very disturbing and if nothing is done soon, they will strike again." Derran spoke coming to his conclusion. He returned to lean against the wall again to hear the others.

"Hello everyone, we're back with Derran!" Rania's voice broke Azer's from her thoughts. She had been recently mulling about the events that had taken place and wondering what they meant. She couldn't help but wonder if more worlds were attacked, other than the Land of Departure and Radiant Garden. "Now Derran, over there is Azer, and I didn't catch his name but he's a bit more hurt then the others, he has a good bump on his head." Azer's eyes flickered at the three people who had entered. There was Rania, of course, and Dante. The unrecognizable boy who had appeared was concluded to be the supposed Derran they had been talking to. As Rania took a seat at an empty chair, she continued to talk. "Now then, let's try and figure what went on between both worlds. We were attacked by two people, and yes Derran, one of those people was a strange heartless that could talk. Which is highly unusual, how did he manage to pull that off?" Her eyes stared off into the distance for a second with a tint of wonder. She got back on track the next second though. "On the other hand, the Land of Departure was dealing with a problem of it's own. So Dante, Azer, can you try to explain as best you can what happened to the Land of Departure?"

"If you guys were attacked by regular Heartless.....Then maybe there are two groups out there. Because we weren't attacked by Heartless." Dante speaks up and answers her question before Azer could speak. He had taken a seat on a wooden crate. "These Creatures we fought at the Land of Departure... They didn't attack like Heartless, they didn't try to steal hearts. They down right killed them... and ate the bodies and had red eyes and teeth. And when we would kill one, it didn't vanish but turned into liquid darkness that seeped into the ground, and i can only guess that it corrupted the world." Azer tensed up at his words that were causing her to remember the incident. Her fists clenched in her laps as her eyesight hit the ground. "Worse yet," He continued. "Was when this guy, who was obviously the leader, kinda floated down out of the sky from the storm that came with the Creatures a whole crap ton more appeared. That's when the Masters went out to fight them.... at least i think it was after the winged dude appeared.... it was happening so fast. Then the light took us here, and so thats about what happened."

Azer gave a silent nod to confirm what Dante had said. A moment of silence ensued as Dante's explanation was took in by Rania, Darren, and Azoth. After a few seconds passed, Darren was the one who broke it. "I am sorry to hear about what happened at the Land of Departure. About you," Derran pointed at Dante first and then waved his hand toward the rest of them, "And all of you." Derran waved his arm in an encompassing manner. "And about the Masters and the other Keywielders." He added with sincerity. His tone then changed when he began to say his own opinions. "But I don't think these were two separate events." His statement made Azer frown, both confused and intrigued at what his thoughts were. "This may sound disturbing but I have the sinking feeling this was all organized. I mean the attacks on both the Land of Departure and Radiant Gardens?" Derran gave shrug of disbelief. "I don't think that happened to be a coincidence. I think our two threats are one, I mean Rania, Azoth, didn't Maverick's last words before he left struck a little odd to you? As if he was talking about another person." Darren said and looked at Rania and Azoth. "All I know that this is very disturbing and if nothing is done soon, they will strike again."

Azer pondered about what Darren had said along with the rest of them. "The attacks both seemed around the same time as well," she added as her eyebrows began to knit together as thoughts began racing in her head. Something in her mind seemed to click because her eyes snapped to the group in the next second. "If what you're saying is true, then isn't the worse still to come?" she questioned them. "I mean, the worse has already come for the Land of Departure." Her voice softened a bit as she spoke. "But maybe there's something bigger going on; something that is way bigger than the Land of Departure and Radiant Garden."
