And these are the kinds of families you're bitten into.
As long as anyone in gloomy Sunnyvale, Alaska can remember, the Blair and Holden families have been at war. The physical fights and bloody brawls were given up years ago. Most of the locals are supernatural themselves, and as long as the innocent people are left alive and well, they aren't too keen on going up against beings that powerful. The arrival of a new family, however, could shake up this tiny town in a very permanent way.
The Blairs
Werewolves
The Blairs are a wealthy family of high-class socialites. Despite their wealth and status, they see all people as equals unless otherwise proven. Each member of the family is expected to earn their own reputation, and none can simply ride on the family's coattails. They see the Holdens as stuck-up and conceited, and they see other vampires as no better than common murderers.

The Holdens
Vampires
Just as wealthy and high-class as the Blairs, the Holdens are more rigid in their family relationships. Bickering is not tolerated, and neither is poor behavior. If any of the family members must feed on a human directly (the blood bank would be a more suitable option, and that is where they get their food regularly), at least a) leave town or b) leave them alive. Humans are below the Holdens, but the werewolves are below the dirtiest scum. They believe there is a special place in Hell for the Blairs in particular.

The McHalls are new in town. They have all the wealth of the other two families (thousands of years on Earth will allow that), but none of the prestige due to their mix of species. They are very open with each other and others alike. [Patriarch] and [Matriarch] have a tendency to take in down-on-their-luck supernatural beings, resulting in a very diverse family. They have high hopes for this town and just want the Blairs and Holdens to stop the feud.

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
