|Details:|

|Habits:| Ben often finds himself playing with one of the bangs that scatter across his forehead. He twists it when he is embarrassed, nervous, or bored.

|Strengths:| Oddly, Ben is good at just about anything that has to do with gardening, he has a green thumb. He is also good at listening to others, at least, if he is interested in what they are saying.

|Flaws:| Ben used to tend to trust people far to easily and it often leaves him hurt. So now he is highly guarded and has very few friends and is not good at making new ones.

|Likes:| He loves red apples for their sweetness along with cherries and raspberries, and he also enjoys large gardens and wide expanses of land where all is quiet. He also happens to like Willow trees.

|Dislikes:| Ben hates loud places and lemons. Sour things aren't really his kind of thing. Ben also dislikes coffee and all coffee flavored things. And handcuffs. He had an extreme fear of being kept captive.

|Weaknesses:| To elaborate on his fear of being held captive, whenever ho goes near cages of handcuffs, he becomes paralyzed with fear and his wings tense up.

|Quirks:| He blushes quite easily and he's quite cute when he does.

|Powers:|
  • Flying (of course)
  • Lightning Manipulation- he can shoot lightning bolts from his hands and give people or items an electric shock, like having an electrically charged sword is super cool and so are dead people... oh wait no...

|History:|
Ben, being a child of God itself, has not parents and has wandered alone since he was very young. When he was eight, he was captured by scientists wishing to do experiments on oddities like him, it was a terrifying experience and this is where he developed a fear of being held captive. Ben made a friend in the lab, a young girl named Sarai, who was an angel like him. the two young children tried to survive the tests together, but Sarai was tragically killed in a shock test, which is why Ben still gets bad flashbacks and does not particularly like to use his powers unless he has too. After escaping the lab alone, he was found battered and bruised only feet away from the burning building, where everyone else still resided. He believed that he was the sole survivor of the arson, even though he had no idea that another girl had escaped. From here, Ben was sent to Kolbs Academy when he was eleven and has been here since. After three years of torture, this place was heaven to him (pun totally intended).

|Personality:|
Ben is quiet and only speaks when spoken too. He enjoys being alone but does not mind if other people are with him and are quiet. He rarely shows agitation or anger, but when he does, most people end up electrocuted. He always tends to help people who are in need, and needs nothing in return.

|Other:|
Ben plays the piano, but he does not know where he learned how to do this... It just comes naturally.

"Ah...oh, you- you mean you don't remember?" Ben asked Cesieal, brows furrowed in concentration. Ciel couldn't help notice how, even with the wrinkles of concentration that interrupted his flawless features, he still looked truly perfect. A genuine Angel. Ciel felt a bit like a wolf in sheeps clothing, but that wasn't her biggest priority, at least not now. It made her scared and worried to know that her past might be something terrible. Ignorance was bliss, wasn't it? Even if it was aggravating to not remember, what if she had forgotten it because she...she simply didn't want to remember. She had never thought of that possibility. It didn't help at all. In fact it filled her with a leaden dread that made her feel heavy and pinned down to the Earth. It was as if she couldn't fly. Like she wasn't allowed to. Like she was Fallen.
She had to know. She wants going to back out of this, not now. She was going to immerse herself so deep that there would be no way she'd be able to escape. Trapping herself in her own history was the only solution to this endless hunt. And then Ben's features smoothed into an almost tired look as he slid down the wall. An angel sitting down in a form of defeat was not a good sign. However, Ciel took her place next to him, trembling slightly.
"Sorry, that just caught me by surprise. Do you...do you not remember at all, I mean, it was rather long ago, but those memories will last me a lifetime. I can't even see lightning let alone electric current or use my powers without remembering those tests." She grimaced a little at the mention of his power. Although he had never outright said it, Ciel had suspected that this was his "talent."
"Tests." The word sounded smooth and light to the ears but it felt heavy on her tongue. An invisible weight lifted off of her as the word rolled off her tongue. Ben had obviously switched a flip in her brain. It mad everything seem clear and sharp, yet hazy and out of focus at the same time.
There were experiments. Who was carrying them out she didn't know, but it was obviously not someone from the academy. There was something about the room that seemed cold, distant.
"Move the water, Ciel." What we're they talking about? Her name was not Ciel. She would not cooperate with what these strangers wanted. She struggled to get out of her bindings. A shock ran through her, small at first then bigger and bigger spreading throughout her body. Then, just as suddenly, the pain stopped. "Move the water, Ciel." The calm voice commanded her. She moved the water.

The memory faded slightly here, yet Ciel still felt the pain, almost too realistically. She shuddered a bit then righted herself.
"Bits and pieces are still stuck in my brain. But sometimes there are triggers that let me remember things." She stopped there, afraid to let anything else out. Pouring her emotions out to this stranger seemed extremely silly. But she needed someone to talk to. And here was the perfect opportunity. But she'd have to be careful.
"This time," she told herself in a whisper "I won't move the water."
(( OOC: If you haven't noticed already, I like to make things tense and dramatic! :3))

Ben looked up at the angel watching as a look of confused recognition appeared upon her face. He felt terrible. The scientists must have used electricity on her, for he could see the fear in her eyes. He wondered why she had forgotten about the lab, it made very little sense to him. The bell tolled loudly in several long low notes. He supposed that he would have to ask her about it all later.

“The entrance ceremony must be beginning," Ben said, looking to the sky. “Let's go to the hall." He stood up and thought of an idea. He stretched his wings. “Since we're a bit farther than we were before, do you want to fly there?" He asked Ciel. “We are going to have to finish this conversation later."
