Description
Name: Masha Makarova (Also known as Greenie)
Age: 17
Appearance: Masha has long unruly black hair and big green eyes, usually hidden behind her big round glasses. She has a somewhat large overbite, but it's only noticeable when she smiles really big, which is not really that often. She is always wearing lots of green, as per her nickname, her favorite shade being lime. Her clothing is usually whatever's cheapest, as her family is not that particularly rich, and she likes to wear artsy shirts with words or pictures on them, as well as pants, but she's usually okay with wearing skirts if the weather is okay enough.
Personality: Masha is often seen as wimpy, and for good reason. Though she is not actually a very wimpy girl, she is really indecisive, and often prefers to avoid any sort of conflict (weather it's a small argument or a huge fight, she dislikes them all equally). She will usually do this by taking a super long time to think her actions through and figure out the easiest way to avoid or run away from a conflict. Even after she has made up her mind on something, it is very easy to make her doubt herself and question the decisions that she has made.
Equipment: Nothing much besides her headphone, music, and a cellphone that Masha strongly suspects is just as old as she is. Maybe a little bit of money too, or some gum, but that's usually the extent of it.
History: Born in Moscow, Russia, Masha immigrated to the states when she was six years old. Masha, who could barely understand English at the time much less speak or read it, found herself often being teased for this reason. It was during this time that Masha earned her nickname, "Greenie", which was short for Greenhorn. This nickname annoyed her to no end, eventually getting to the point where Masha finally decided to go whine about it to her mom. Masha's mother, being the eternally wise and patient woman she is, gave her the wonderful advice of showing her tormentors that their teasing was not bothering her by embracing the nickname, rather than rejecting it. Her mom then took Masha out to the local thrift shop, wear they bought some green articles of clothing, which Masha proudly displayed the next day at school. She's been obsessively wearing the color ever since.
