Introductions: 5 years have passed since the deadly virtual reality game Antiva Chronus Online has ended however scars of it can be felt even now. Thousands of lifes were lost, those who survived still struggled to strengthen their in comma weakened body and all virtual reality games been forbidden for good.
Until now....
A new VRMMO has appeared on horizon with a completely new device called Virtual Glass to support it. At first government completely denied release of this game, however game maker Ling Yao never gave up. After various expert tests and conflicts, Virtual Glass has been proved to be completely harmless and a new age of virtual gaming could arise. This game was called Lacrezia - The Reborn World.

Lacrezia is a 4 realm world with various classes and races for each player to explore and enjoy. Just like ACO this games reality concept is nearly 100% and even the smallest details such a scent of flower and breeze of winf have been worked out. At first it may look just like a normal fantasy set game however there is one big rule in the game that makes it quite different. If you die your character is lost forever. There is no way to revive it. That is why is Lacrezia is often called Second Life.

It would seem that game would have no problems. It was perfect. Players experienced battling and adventure as if it were real and they could not be harmed in any way. However it would seem that VRMMO game curse would not pass this game either. Soon after the beginning of game NPCs (non-player characters) have gained a mind of their own and a ready to fight with players in order to gain real and live in real world. What is going to happen to players of this world? Will they able to stop arising trouble?

Background: When first entering the game players will have a chance to create a character similar to their own physical appearance. These are the races player can choose from.

The pair headed towards Siccitatis where they split up for a short while since Vincent needed to turn in his quest, but Venssiel needed to resupply. Once both have finished their tasks, they met at gate and with help of some camels headed back into desert again. Who would have thought that ride on camel back in desert was so relaxing. If it wasn't for the heat, Ven would actually enjoy this ride.

After a while both arrived at the temple where they had to fulfill a rather annoying quest that is clearing off whole area of opponents. It's not like Ven couldn't do it, but after you've killed like 100 monsters that all look the same, it can get rather annoying. More like really annoying. If there was something that kept Ven going at such quests is the thought that the faster she kills those guys the faster she will be able to relax. However this time Ven had a good reason to go through all that trouble. Vincent rushing into dangerous battle meant that he was trying to show his strength and that is probably something Akira would do. Elf just had to observe the man during battle and try to notice something unusual.

While Vennesiel was making her plans of exposing Akira, Vincent had already rushed into battle and killed off two giant stone knight things with precise shoots of his guns. And not only that but while those two were killed two more statues came to life. Vincent was left defenseless at the moment so this was just the right time for elf to take over.

"Magnetic field!" Vennesiel called out and instantly paralyzed both giants. Using their paralysis to her advantage elf launched two Razor Wind's at each giant and once they had regained their senses attacked both with lighting storm. Although they were rather resistant to lighting attacks, it did enough damage for Vennesiel to be able to finish both giant in one slice leaving nothing but dust behind.

"4 down, about 996 left to go!" Red-head exclaimed and swung her claymore over the shoulder ready to enter the devil filled temple. However as she was about to enter temple a sudden massage appeared in front of her and Vincent as well.

"Dear players,
Few days has passed the beginning of Lacrezia - The Reborn World and we believe it is time to put your skills to the test. The first boss - Winged Wolverine has appeared in skies of Caelum. All players who have reached level 20 will be able to travel to Caelum, however in order to complete this quests one must obtain their flying vehicle or a pair of wings. Demons have to obtain Vampire Wings, Humans - Pegasus, Elves - Butterfly wings, Mermen - Astral wings and Angels of course have wings already given to them. 100 first players to defeat this boss will obtain a special flyer item with very high speed and a piece of valuable equipment. Good luck to everybody.
Game makers"

A grin instantly appeared on Vennesiel's face. The time has finally come. Elf instantly stowed away her blade and took out two teleport stones. One she tossed to Vincent and said: "Temple will have to wait. We have to get to that werewolf before others do! I'm not letting those wings pass by me!"

Vincent Demoneye

His crimson-haired, elvish companion intervened just before the stone knights reached Vincent. She paralyzed them with one of her skills, “Magnetic Field” as she called it, and then sent another two skills of hers to reduce the HP of the stone knights to a small amount before she slashed them once and made them disappear.

“Thanks” Vincent said as he holstered Ifrit and Shiva. Ready to kill some more monsters, the two companions were about to enter the temple when a message popped in front of their eyes. Vincent looked at Vennesiel first and saw a grin that made its way to her lips, so he read the message himself:

"Dear players,
Few days has passed the beginning of Lacrezia - The Reborn World and we believe it is time to put your skills to the test. The first boss - Winged Wolverine has appeared in skies of Caelum. All players who have reached level 20 will be able to travel to Caelum, however in order to complete this quests one must obtain their flying vehicle or a pair of wings. Good luck to everybody.
Game makers"

Vincent grinned as well when he finished reading the message. Their skills were finally going to be put up to the test, and the first 100 players that will defeat this boss are going to get some shiny special rewards, which meant that Vincent and Vennesiel should go kill that boss as quickly as they can because other players will probably swarm Caelum after receiving this message.

And it seems that his companion thought the same thing, because he just barely caught the teleportation stone that she threw at him.

"Temple will have to wait. We have to get to that werewolf before others do! I'm not letting those wings pass by me!" Vennesiel said to him
“Then we were just thinking the same thing” Vincent replied with a bright smile and a flame of excitement in his eyes “Let’s teleport to Caelum!”

With that said, Vincent used the teleportation stone that Vennesiel gave him and teleported himself to Caelum.

................................................

When Vincent opened his eyes again it was just as he suspected. Caelum showed a lot more player activity than normal. Probably every single player that is currently logged into Lacrezia and that is powerful enough is going to be here. The one problem that they had to tackle first was being able to fly, and they had to tackle it fast.

“What shall we do now, Ven?” Vincent asked his lady companion and looked around “We have to obtain flying mounts, or wings in your case, before all the angel players defeat Winged Wolverine before us”

Seems like Vincent was in same boat in Vennesiel which only made thing easier. If two of them think alike it will only it easier to travel together.

Shortly after Ven had hidden Vincent one of her teleport stones, he teleported to Caelum and Vennesiel did the same. Elf was expecting for Caelum to be really beautiful, but what she saw was just indescribable. It's like paradise itself has been remade in this game. No, even the real paradise could not be this beautiful. Everything was so bright, clean and beautiful, there were flowers blooming on every step and buildings were made out of finest jewels.

"So beautiful.... I somehow regret not becoming an angel now..." Vennesiel said with a soft smile on her face, something that she rarely showed to anyone.

“What shall we do now, Ven?” Vincent asked bringing elf back to reality. “We have to obtain flying mounts, or wings in your case, before all the angel players defeat Winged Wolverine before us.”

"Hmm.... I remember that there is a quest were one can obtain mounts, but it is rather long and tiring. That is why I didn't take it first time. Beating 100 tomb bosses probably would be faster than finishing that quest," explained Vennesiel. Truth to be told, the quest to obtain wings wasn't really hard, it just included findings things that were scattered in all 4 realms. But since Subaqua also is a realm, Vennesiel instantly dismissed the idea of doing the quest. After all how can she search for anything if she couldn't even swim in water.

"AH! I know! Wait right here, I will be back in few minutes!" Vennesiel exclaimed and headed towards the market of Ianua city also known as the biggest marketplace in whole Lacrezia. You could buy literally everything there. But of course, it was not cheap. Vennesiel ran straight for quest reward vendor that sold rewards for quests. They were especially expensive but since Ven obtained all her armor through loots or crafting and since she didn't use many potions, she had a LOT of money. She also tended to sell all the stuff she didn't use so it also brought her a nice income.

After elf was done shopping, she ran back to place were Vincent was and gave him one of the two items she brought. "Here, flying mount pack! Open it and you will receive and a flying mount which suits your race!" Vennesiel said and opened her own flying mount pack. The same instant small, white and red butterfly wings appeared on her back. These were the very basic flying mounts, but for now they will do. The important thing was that they could fly and search for the Wolverine thing.

"This was rather expensive so you better return the favor later!" Vennesiel said and grinned to herself. After all if Vincent is Akira he will get mermaid mount which is Astral Wings. It will add yet another proof to her bank. Though this piece of information is expensive, Vennesiel almost has no money left.

Shika had almost finished defeating the small group of trolls that she needed to complete her quest. In fact, she was down to the last two whenever she heard movement, at first she thought it was just a player wandering around the area so she payed no real attention to it. She finally finished defeating the trolls and her quest was updated, also gaining enough XP from defeating the creatures to level up to level twenty three. Just when she was about to start heading back into town to get her reward for completing the quest she got a message.

Dear players,
Few days has passed the beginning of Lacrezia - The Reborn World and we believe it is time to put your skills to the test. The first boss - Winged Wolverine has appeared in skies of Caelum. All players who have reached level 20 will be able to travel to Caelum, however in order to complete this quests one must obtain their flying vehicle or a pair of wings. Sincerely, Game makers

"How interesting, this might actually be worth my time." she muttered as she closed the message. 'Would've been a lot more convenient if they told us how to actually get the damn wings' she thought as she un-equipped her short sword back into her inventory. It then dawned on her that there was another presence in the area, other than the player she had heard moving around before. She then activated "Stealth Blade" and climbed her way into a nearby leafy tree. She had no idea if they were planning on ambushing her but she wasn't going to wait to find out. "Great, just my god damned luck" she whispered as she peered through the leaves of the tree, waiting to see what events would unfold. Though Assassins were relatively strong, by themselves they would have to always be on their guard so they wouldn't get themselves caught in a trap and, it wasn't the smartest thing to go solo in a game like this anyways.

Asher Damons ~ Blade Slizer

Asher watched as the player made some quick work out of each and every one of those trolls. He raised an eyebrow. That's one good player. Seeing how the skills of the mystery player looked, Asher couldn't help but watch, mesmerized, by how a Demon Assassin fought. Extremely fast skills that would rival those of the Vermillion Sparrow, the short-ranged yet effective attacks that seemed to deal a critical in every hit (exaggeration), and the constant switching between being visible and invisible, they all made Asher want to delete his current character and start over. Yes, it was THAT feeling when you see a character being played as and they practically become an instant badass to you. However, Asher still settled for his Human Swordsman class. After all, it was for the fact that they were the most comfortable to play with and the Human race didn't have any general strengths and weaknesses, allowing for an easy all-around build-up. However, Asher's thoughts were cut off when a message alert sounded, causing his inbox to open up in his HUB.

Dear players,
Few days has passed the beginning of Lacrezia - The Reborn World and we believe it is time to put your skills to the test. The first boss - Winged Wolverine has appeared in skies of Caelum. Oh? The first boss? Asher thought. That would be fun. However, there was one simple problem. Asher is not able to get to Caelum, not as a Human. Scratch the "no weaknesses" part in the earlier rant. Humans can't fly. At all. Not without a pegasus. Asher let out a sigh and a louder sound- the sound of a hand smacking the flesh found on the human body's forehead. Thanks a lot, Game Developers. Thanks a lot. Looking up, it seems that the mystery player had disappeared. Asher couldn't help but shiver at that, mainly because maybe the player might be a player-killer. Against a Demon Assassin, a Human Swordsman probably stood no chance because of the Assassin's high speed and attack, while the Swordsman had only defense and attack. In layman's terms, the Swordsman was a simple punching bag.

However, what surprised even more was the sight of another player to his left, looking at him. Asher couldn't really see the other player clearly because he/she was too far away and too well hidden. However, Asher could barely make out a sort of scarlet clothing and silver hair. Asher stepped back a bit. He was well aware of the fact that player-killers are common in MMORPG's that allow instant PvP combat, and Asher wasn't fully sure if this was one of them. Whatever the case may be, Asher still had a bad reputation with player killers from his last game. Maybe it was because Asher kept picking fights with player killers and beating each and every one of them until their health was just 1 point away from killing them, then sending them to what would be the Antiva Chronus Online's prisoner's prison. Not only that, Asher had a fear of not being killed when it comes to PK's, especially since ACO basically kills you when you're killed inside the game. While this game doesn't do that, it can permanently delete the character, something any player wouldn't want unless they screwed the character itself somehow.

Everything seemed to be going fine. Neither the player who looked like Asher or the assassin seemed to be aware of her presence. That is, until abruptly, the assassin leaped into a tree and vanished, and the Asher-lookalike suddenly stopped and stared right at her. Seriously? Her stealth skill might not have been terribly high, but she had hidden at such a distance that there shouldn't have been any way they'd notice her unless-

-unless they had leveled up a lot higher than her. Well, there went the "attack the person who looked like Asher" plan. At least, if she wanted any chance of not dying. With only a few rudimentary spells and some basic hand-to-hand combat skills, she'd be vastly outclassed in any battle against players of their level, herself being only level 15 due to starting somewhat later than normal.

And just then, things became even more complicated by an announcement that popped up. An event boss that you needed to fly to beat? Seriously? But she'd need to level up five times to be able to do that... Well, it was either that or find someone who could fly who was willing to give her a ride. Which basically meant Asher, now that she thought about it, since she probably would have been too uncomfortable to let anyone else carry her.

But the way she looked at it, if that was Asher, he'd probably be aiming to complete this event quest, and to do that, if he could fly - which she suspected he'd be able to - the easiest way to win would be to get a ranged attacker on his side. Or, in short, a mage. So, basically, if she just charged out there like an idiot, confirmed that he was the real Asher, and then teamed up with him - with or without revealing her own identity in the process - then she could solve all of her problems.

So, suicidal attack it was. Standing up - taking cover was useless since he was already looking at her - she adjusted her hood slightly to ensure that her face remained hidden, and then swept out her hand in an arc, casting a wave of fire that rushed down the hill towards her target, igniting the underbrush as it went. By the time it reached its mark, it had expanded in size to a quite formidable blaze that engulfed the path, leaving a fiery trail in its wake.

Of course, if that really was Asher, she held no suspicions that her attack would actually hit him. There was far too much time for him to dodge for that to happen. So, she started charging up a White Lightning spell, and waited for her target to reappear so she could try her hand at shooting him again before he inevitably closed the distance and beat the crap out of her.

What I wouldn't give for a few magic swords right about now... She thought sadly.

Licht

Licht had woken up feeling a bit better than usual, for obviously reasons, of course. Meeting one of his old companions from ACO was a joy, and also hearing about another's wellbeing (implied, mostly) helps too. It would be a shame to know that a certain competitive woman from ACO would not be joining them, but Takeshi most certainly could understand that people would want to forget about something so traumatic as that if possible, or at least place enough distance between themselves and the cause. He might have originally just enjoyed it as a harder game, but Takeshi did realize what it was probably like for the other players, who fought so fiercely to escape. It was originally what had convinced him to mature up and realize he still had a family waiting at home, who would be crushed if they did not get their son back.

The morning was about as rehearsed as usual, with him getting out of bed half-naked with a dull expression plastered across his face, making him look as vacant as a zombie. Taking it from there, he ventured into the restroom and took a morning shower, which served to put some life back into the young man, albeit just slightly. Refreshed(ish) and ready to take on the world by storm (not really), he changed into a new pair of clothes before venturing tot he kitchen, where this time milk did wait for him. The godsend was also a nice relief. Yes... his bowl would now be complete with both cereal AND milk. This, of course, meant he could maybe die in peace now that his stomach was properly filled with a delicious breakfast. That may or may not be an exaggeration, as Takeshi was wearing quite the silly smile as he finished his food.

"Hmm... what is there to do today?" Takeshi spoke to himself as he tried thinking of something productive to do with his life. As with the otaku, he found that impossible to accomplish. At least, that was until he remembered he had a girl's number. Kahlan's, to be specific. "Maybe we can hang out!" he began to like the idea more and more each second he thought about it. It'd be nice to see who was really behind that violent, yet kawaii cute woman. Takeshi glanced up at the clock and saw that, of course, it was pretty early. She might not even be awake, and it would be rude of him to wake her up just to hang out, especially since they did not entirely know each other just yet. Avatars and people had to be different in most cases. In fact, Licht was much different than his own avatar until after ACO, so he wasn't going expect her to be exactly like the tsundere he knew and liked. As he decided against it, Takeshi instead just hopped back into Lacrezia.

...

...

...

All there was to do while he waited were some quests so that he may level up. As he was right now, he was sure that he was pretty strong against the majority of Lacrezia players right now, but he was not certain that he was as high above the majority as he was in ACO. Then again, that took weeks of grinding to achieve, so he was not all that concerned at the moment. Besides, he found something interesting. Apparently there was a small event in the area that gave players boosted EXP when they partied up with players they did not have on their friends list. While it was likely people could just defriend their friends to benefit this, some were actually looking to party up as the game had intended. The boost, surpassing his own passive experience gain, coaxed Licht into joining along with some other randoms.

"Kharg's the name, and these are my friends Illyia, and Takeru." a blonde-haired man introduced the group to Licht.

He smiled. "I guess I'm the random of the group, pleased to meet you. I'm Licht."

"...Licht?" came the other boy's voice. "You mean the one from the ACO incident? Or did you just take his name?" he questioned.

"I am the same one." Licht replied.

The young man, Takeru, continued on. "I heard about you when reading about the event. I never played ACO, but I heard about a guy who knew this guy who knew this guy's uncle played it...." the man trailed off, most likely because of said person's fate. The thought of someone's death he couldn't prevent did sting a bit to Takeshi. Hopefully nothing like that would ever happen again. Licht still existed for that purpose. "..anyway, you were part of the party that ended that disaster, right?"

"Yeah... although I wish I could've done it sooner, now." he mused.

"Now?" Kharg asked, picking up the last part.

"Don't worry about it. So how about we head off and do a quest or something? Event doesn't last forever, ya know?"

So saying, Takeshi's avatar started off towards an older NPC that was giving out jobs. He approached it and earned a quest from the old guy that required them to slay an incredible amount of various monsters to gather resources for the making a specific item that would then have to be delivered to this NPC's 'son' who needed it for god knows what reason other than to force you to walk for eleventy hours, while guarding the elder guy. However, the payout seemed rather high.

As you might expect from the party, they did the job and money came with ease but one couldn't stop, it's like he had a disease. It was enough to not only replenish any health pots they had used over the course of the quest, but also was able to use the remaining money to buy some gloves that gave him increased attack speed and reduced his cooldowns by a bit. Definitely a good buy for how he played, though he wished he had enough to buy some better boots too.

As he exited the shop, he saw that Kahlan had appeared online. It had been a while since he signed on, which surprised him. As tedious as the mission he just did sounded, it was actually pretty fun. He and the rest had nice talks and fun while doing the quest, so he did not notice how much time had flown past his perception. "Hey guys, it was good playing with you. We leveled up quite a bit, and I got some new gloves. Pretty good for the time we spent working on it, no?" he glanced back at the rest of the group.

"Yeah, I had fun too!" said Illya.

"I think we all did." Takeru commented.

"Same here." Kharg said.

Licht smiled. "Well, add me and we'll group up some other time. See ya!" and so saying, he headed off for Kahlan's location. She'd probably benefit from his help, considering his passive gave others a slight EXP boost if they partied with him, which he did happen to notice as the others he had just been playing with leveled up 3-4 levels more than he did. So, they met and soon enough did stuff. Monster-killing stuff.

...

...

...

Somehow or someway Eventually, the two picked up a minor quest that led them to a forest. It was to simply kill a Gold Boar, but for some strange reason, it had a higher EXP reward than one would commonly think. This thing was just an improved version of the Boar, most likely, so at their level, it would prove to be easy pickings, right? They ducked under many a branch and Licht was annoyed that he would have to make sure he wasn't just walking blindly, but eventually they stumbled upon their prey -- And it was rather pretty, to be honest. Well, as far as shining boars go.

Easy like sunday morning....

Licht took a readied stance and was about to pounce on it when......

*Crunch*

He stepped on small branch that then emitted a sound that alerted the boar. It quickly swung to register what had made the noise, and in that split moment, it was felled.

"Not bad for a warm up," the kill-stealer said as he collected what items the boar had dropped.

A bit irritated, Licht stepped out of the brush, with Kahlan probably following behind him. "Man! I almost had that thing too. Where'd you even come from?" he question. His voice did not seem so much angry as it did surprised at apparent ninja that stood before them. Because the man did not attack Licht, his passive did not pick the man up before. "Well... shit." he sighed, turning to face Kahlan. "We'll have to find another----"

Sincerely, Game makers

"....or we can go do that."

Vincent Demoneye

Vennesiel teleported shortly after Vincent and seemed to be looking around at Caelum. A sweet, pure smile appeared on her lips, a smile that Vincent just couldn't ignore for some reason. He asked Vennesiel what they should do and it brought her back to her senses.

"Hmm, I remember that there is a quest where one can obtain mounts, but it is rather long and tiring. That is why I didn't take it the first time. Beating 100 tomb bosses would probably be faster than finishing that quest." Vennesiel replied and seemed to be lost in thought before an idea popped into her head "AH! I know! Wait right here, I'll be back in a few minutes!"

Vennesiel ran off and Vincent stood in place and waited for a few minutes. During the time that Vennesiel was away, Vincent took the time to look around and really appreciate the beauty of Caelum. The place was sprinkled with crystal-like stones that added a magical feeling to the place. Vennesiel came back after a few minutes with two items, one of them she gave to Vincent.

"Here, a flying mount pack! Open it and you'll receive a flying mount which suits your race!" Vennesiel explained and opened her own pack which gave her little butterfly wings. Vincent blushed and held the flying mount pack in his hands. These packs must have cost a fortune, and Vennesiel just gave him one.

"This was rather expensive, so you better return the favor later!" Vennesiel told him with a smile and Vincent felt happy that she trusted him so much.

"Thank you very much, Ven" Vincent said to Vennesiel with a smile "I'll be sure to return the favor to you in full!"
He opened the pack and with a tiny flash of light came out a beautiful, black pegasus that stretched his wings out as if he was actually imprisoned inside the pack. The winged horse had a royal aura about him and he responded to Vincent's touch, rubbing his nose on Vincent's hand as Vincent pet him. Vincent was so captivated by the pegasus that it took several seconds until he came back to reality.

"I think I will call him 'Shadow'" Vincent said to Vennesiel and Shadow stood on his back legs in agreement "Then, shall we fly to find that boss, Ven?"

"Hmm?" Solstice hummed as he turned to another voice. Another player-- Players, it seemed like. The fellow had another with him. His head tilting in a questioning gaze, and then he extended his hands and pointed into the woods off to his side. "The forest," He answered simply and vaguely as possible. "Where did you--" Solstice was about to ask before he was interrupted by a system message.

Much unlike everyone else, Solstice was not too enthused initially. In fact, his brows turned down and a frown worked it's way to his lips. "I just frickin' got legs, now they're forcing wings down my throat?" He muttered to himself. "And what the hell's a winged wolverine? Have you ever heard of such nonsense, a wolverine-- with wings? That's weird," This time, he spoke to the new arrivals, letting his frustrations bleed into his voice. However, that frustration only lasted a moment until a wide-eyed grin replaced it. "Well whatever right? Something new."

After that, he lifted his spear, spun it around and little and let it come to rest on his shoulder, taking the initial steps toward the pair. "Since it's the first hundred players who get the snazzy item, and seeing how I really don't want to do this by myself-- say we tag-team this bitch?" The guy did just express his intention to go find the creature and fight it, and there was always that saying about the more the merrier. And besides that, his whole lone hunter schtick was starting to grow old.

He then took a momentary pause, and glanced back where he had just slayed the boar only moments ago. A single laugh hitched at his shoulder and he turned back, shrugging as he did. "My bad about that. But I was tracking him for a while now. Silly piggy thought he could escape," Solstice said in a half-assed attempt at an apology. Afterward, he extended a hand toward the players, and introduced himself.

"I am Solstice-- and she's," He said, pointing at the lady of the group, "Jeanne." Thus, Solstice's method of winning the bet came to light. Point at all of the females he came across and confidently decide that they were Jeanne. It was flawless, really.

Asher Damons ~ Blade Slizer

Asher's eyes widened as the player in red stood up from his/her hiding spot. With a wave of her arm, a wave of flames that burned anything that were unfortunate enough to be in its path was sent at Asher. Almost without hesitation, Blade ran to the side and into the open in order to get himself away from the flammable environment. Asher glared at the girl. "What the hell?!" Asher shouted. However, that's all he would shout as Blade saw the player already chanting for another spell. Immediately, Blade Slizer used his Flash Strike to close in on the player. Blade swings the blunt side of the blade at the player's head in order to stop the casting.

Predictably, the enemy dodged. Equally predictably, when the enemy realized she was casting another spell, he leaped forward, using some kind of high-movement skill to close the distance between them almost immediately, already beginning a counterattack. The attack was certainly a familiar one, bearing a great resemblance to one of Asher's favorite openers: Ghost Wolf. It was a fortunate choice on her part to cast Silver Lightning, since despite the incredible distance between them, the enemy was already in range within a fraction of a second. If she'd chosen any other spell, the casting time would have been too long to retaliate.

Using the player's own momentum against him, she raised a finger and fired a stream of concentrated lightning directly at his chest even as she stepped backward, bringing up her front hand and activating her Blade Breaker melee skill. As the sword came hurtling in, she darted to the side, grazing the edge of the blade before hooking it with a spike on her gauntlet, then wedging it downward. Of course, given the weapon's high level, the attack completely failed to serve its purpose aside from dulling the enemy's blade slightly. Of course, given the enemy's speed and the velocity of his attack, it would hopefully still manage to pin the opponent's sword in the ground. At that point they'd be fighting on somewhat more even footing. However, this skill's use wasn't without its consequences. Even though she'd blocked most of the force of the attack, red cracks appeared across her character model's arm, her hitpoints dropping significantly. It seemed she'd taken almost a fifth of her health in damage just from a blow she'd almost perfectly blocked, which meant the situation was even more one-sided than she thought.

Wasting no time, she aimed her final counterattack. With the enemy carried forward into point-blank range of her Silver Lightning spell by his attack, he almost certainly would have charged right into it. The attack wasn't a very powerful one, but it would stagger him in conjunction with her counter on his sword, in addition to weakening his armor. If she landed a blow now, she could probably do some serious damage and maybe turn the tide of this battle. And, with his sword momentarily immobilized by her counterattack animation, she might even be able to fully disarm him. Thinking thus, she activated a third skill: Sweeping Assault. Bracing herself, she drew back the arm she'd fired her spell with, and then aimed a straight punch right for the enemy's solar plexus, around the point where she estimated her Silver Lightning would have struck. In an instant, she'd followed this up by dropping into a crouch and sweeping out her legs to kick at the opponent's own, before rising, bringing up her hand to finish the combo with a palm strike to the face, activating Frost Touch at the same instant.

If everything went as planned, her opponent's armor would be broken, his sword knocked from his hand, and himself knocked to the ground and frozen into the dirt by his face. Of course, the level difference between them meant that probably wouldn't even halve his HP, and on top of that, if this was really Asher, Noel had a feeling that everything wouldn't go as planned at all. But that was a matter for later. In any case, in the wake of her parry, he'd be stuck in a stumbling animation, which would prolong his next blocking or wounded animation, meaning that whether or not he defended himself successfully from her finisher or not, now was the time to get away from him and start charging a spell before it was too late. Jumping back, she hastily began chanting a spell on instinct, only to realize that, just maybe, it might have been a somewhat poor choice of incantations to use.

"Breeze that stirs the frozen forest, mighty tempest that brings mountains to their knees! Fang that invites ruin, pierce through without fail! Concussion Stream!"

That's what I get for combining old incantations from ACO with spells from anime... Noel thought sadly. Let's just hope I managed to freeze his face so he didn't hear that.

His rush-down tactic didn't work, as suddenly the player, who Asher could now tell with a closer look that is a girl, send a stream of lightning at him while casting. Ironic, because Blade Slizer aimed to use Casting Interruption after getting out of the animation of Flash Strike. The spell seemed to just blast him with electricity, though it served to damage his armor and slow him down a bit, enough for the mystery player to grab Blade's sword and bring it downwards to pin it to the ground. The skill, however, looked more like one used to disarm the opponent by breaking the sword itself. Blade was then treated to a nice elbow with the spiked part of the player's gauntlets and a palm to the gut, causing Blade to cough a little. The status <Bleeding> appeared below his health bar, something Asher could remember from when Kanna's arm was cut off by that one boss back in ACO.

Too make things worse, the opponent continued her own combo by punching him where he was struck by that spell before and sweeping him, giving him one last palm to the face with the added effect of <Freeze>. However, the opponent most likely was considerably lower than Blade in terms of levels. The combo only managed to take off 1/6th of his health, while Asher saw he managed to land his blow onto the girl, albeit a weaker version, dealing 1/5 of her health. Opening his eyes, Asher seemed to have have landed on his side. The girl was in the middle of chanting again.

"Breeze that stirs the frozen forest, mighty tempest that brings mountains to their knees! Fang that invites ruin, pierce through without fail! Concussion Stream!"

Now was his chance. Blade was too close now for the girl to escape his counter-spell measure, his only counter-spell measure. Immediately, Blade pushed himself up with his hand and equipped his other sword, <Vorenthul>. The sword earlier was his <Lightweight Katana>. Asher suddenly dashed towards the mystery player, using <Casting Interruption>, a technique designed to cut off the target when he/she was still in the process of saying the incantation. Just as the mystery player reached the last word, Blade swung, hitting the girl with the blunt side of his sword. Then, Blade quickly used his new skill. Blade used <Blowback>, slashing upwards to send the stunned player into the air before using <Flash Strike> once more. Then, for the end of his short combo, Blade spun horizontally and slashed, creating a beam of light parallel to the ground before spinning vertically, slashing the player from her head, down and sending the two down to the ground. Blade gritted his teeth, leaping back and bringing <Vorenthul> up in guard in case the player got up and attacked him again. It was unlikely, though, if everything went as planned. By the time the combo ended, the health bar should be large enough to be seen as thick as a piece of printer paper. "Who are you?" Blade said, glaring. He didn't have time for this, he needed to get back into the event, and quickly. Blade doesn't even have a pair of feathers to rely on if he goes to Caelum. IF.

"Ah, that hurt..." Noel sighed, rubbing her head as she sat up, using the motion as a covert means of adjusting her hood to keep it from slipping back. "Or so I'd normally be saying." Grinning, she shrugged, crossing her legs and seating herself on the ground. It was pretty obvious that she was outclassed. This guy had negated her best spell, and even despite her attempts to block his combo attack - it helped that she recognized some of the skills he'd used, allowing her to defend herself from otherwise lethal damage solely on instinct - he'd still managed to reduce her HP to almost nothing. Noel was pretty sure she'd seen all she needed to see - what with him defeating her so easily, and with so many familiar moves, yet choosing to spare her instead of kill her on the spot - to determine that this was indeed Asher. What an odd coincidence, running into him so soon. But, she supposed, it would only work to her advantage if she played her cards right.

"Well, I guess this means I lose. Ah, well. Picking a fight with somebody like you, even for a quest, was pretty much hopeless from the start anyway," She said offhandedly, trying to be as casual as possible - and, by extension, as far from her real self as she could be. Shrugging once again, she uncrossed her legs, rolled back onto her back, and then hopped to her feet in an altogether rather showy manner. "Still, I guess I've got better things to worry about now." Glancing down to her menu, she gave an offhand nod towards the announcement to show what she meant by this. "Say, you seem pretty strong. Wanna help me get to Caelum and kill that flying boss? I'm not high enough level to use my Demon form and fly yet, but I can deal some pretty awesome damage, so if ya' carry me, I'll help ya' blow the thing up." Using as little formal speech as possible - as opposed to her usual polite manner - she tried to disassociate herself from the mental image Asher would have of her. It would make the surprise all the better later when he eventually found out her true identity.

Asher Damons ~ Blade Slizer

"Ah, that hurt... Or so I'd normally be saying." The mystery girl shrugged and grinned, apparently not minding the beat-down that Asher gave to her. She crossed her legs, sitting down on the ground in a casual manner, as casual as she addressed him. "Well, I guess this means I lose. Ah, well. Picking a fight with somebody like you, even for a quest, was pretty much hopeless from the start anyway." The girl then proceeded to do something stolen from every martial arts movie- The girl went on her back and threw her legs high into the air, letting the momentum carry her body into a standing position.

"Still, I guess I've got better things to worry about now." Asher saw the girl looking at her menu, at the announcement of the first boss. "Say, you seem pretty strong. Wanna help me get to Caelum and kill that flying boss? I'm not high enough level to use my Demon form and fly yet, but I can deal some pretty awesome damage, so if ya' carry me, I'll help ya' blow the thing up."

So that's what this was about.... Asher thought. "You fought me to test me if I can help you beat the very first boss of the game?" Asher raised an eyebrow, looking at the girl. She wore a vermilion mini-dress with scarlet gauntlets and boots. The girl indeed had long, silver hair accompanied by golden eyes that made it obvious that the girl was a demon- well, in terms of race. Asher doesn't even know if he should call her a demon because of her behavior. Even though the girl was short, with those colors, it would be impossible not to avert your gaze to that one player in a crowd. Asher spoke again. "... The problem is... right before you attacked me, I was about to get myself a Pegasus mount." Asher sighed. "... I don't have any way to fly, unless some giant enemy tosses me into the air."

The feeling of plunging into the virtual world was always such a thrill. Once again, Kahlan found herself immersed in the world of Lacrezia. She had leveled up significantly in the last few days and had finally gotten used to being in game again. It was quite a thrill being back. Still using most of the gear Ven had given her, she was pretty well off since this gear was now useful at her level. With new skills and items, Kahlan had broken out of the "noob" category at last. Kahlan checked her stats and weapons one last time before she set off. Doing away with the magic staff and sword, the scarlet haired angel was now equipped with a long white spear named [Divine Striker] she had picked up from a mini boss while she was fighting in Caleum. With an addition to great attack stats, it gave bonuses to her light based skills giving them more effect and cool down time. It was a pretty impressive weapon.

Kahlan tugged at her creme colored beret that sat atop her head. It was the same one that was given to her when she started and she had grown quite attached to it. It was time to go. Takeshi, who she had previously known as Licht, was going to meet her at a certain location in Terra. The two had decided to travel together and Kahlan was thrilled to fight alongside a previous comrade from ACO again. Standing on the edge of Caleum Kahlan looked down from the flying islands that were called the homeland of the angels. This game's graphics were extremely impressive. It always took her breath away every time she marveled in the scenery. Well... it was time. Closing her eyes, the angel shifted her weight and launched herself off of the floating land and plunged to the land of Terra below.

"Man! I almost had that thing too. Where'd you even come from?" Licht exclaimed as the quest target was instantly killed before their eyes. The two of them had taken on a hunting quest that had them searching for a [Gold Boar] which was probably just a rare NPC [Boar] that was an equivalent to [Slimes] in other RPGs. Kahlan sighed. "Well maybe if you would've been faster instead of trying to creep up on it you would've gotten the kill." She joked. "Well... shit." Licht sighed, turning to face Kahlan. "We'll have to find another----" Licht was suddenly interrupted.

Sincerely, Game makers

Kahlan's heart raced. A boss fight? Now that was just what she was looking for. When was the last time she had faced a boss? Her mind wandered to the dangerous final battle in ACO. But her thoughts were interrupted by the player who had stolen their quest kill.

"Well whatever right? Something new."

To Kahlan, the boy sounded a bit cocky. But how could one not be in this type of game where anyone could be as powerful as they wanted to be. Kahlan simply nodded as her mind wandered again to what type of boss this was. It was back in Caleum, where she had just come from and with her wings, she would have no trouble getting into attack range of it. The boy in front of them seemed to offer to party up to "tag team this bitch" which sounded like a good idea since Kahlan had no idea what attacks that boss could do it was best to party up in a situation like this. Though while Kahlan was pondering the best course of action, she was suddenly interrupted by the stranger's words.

"I am Solstice-- and she's," He said, pointing at Kahlan directly, "Jeanne."

Kahlan was surprised. Just who did he think she was? Jeanne? She didn't know anyone by that name. "Ummm.... Pleased to meet you Solstice but I think your mistaken. I'm...." Kahlan hesitated. There it was again... The feeling like she should hide her true identity. But it was no used now. Licht already knew who she was so it was alright. "My name is Kahlan, not Jeanne. I think you have me confused with someone else."

Shika's suspicions were confirmed whenever one of the two players launched fire at the play which she supposed would be a Swordsmen, this of course took him by surprise. Since they were paying little attention to her anymore she decided she would wait there to see how the battle turned out. It would also give her a chance to find out how both of them fought, so it was the best obvious decision, well for her at least. At first it only looked like the Mage was going to be the one to take the win for this battle but the Swordsmen quickly turned it around.

"Well, that'll be a enough spectating for me." she muttered to herself as she slowly stood up from the tree branch that she was sitting on. Shika had almost forgotten about the quest reward that she was suppose to already have collected by now if it weren't for those two other players. She leaped casually from the tree and into plain sight of the players before sprinting away silently. If they decided to chase her was another thing altogether, but she knew that they could barely catch up to her even if they wanted too. She went back to the NPC that gave her the quest she had completed moments ago and received her reward, leveling her up to level twenty three. She was making progress with her leveling, though it was a tedious task to do.

Then the thought of the boss came back into her head..She had almost completely forgotten about it. "The only problem is, I still don't know how to get the damn wings.." If they were really that important they would be able to buy it out of a shop in Caelum right? Well, that's what she hoped would be the case. She didn't want to spend time completing a quest just to get a wings whenever she could be spending that time fighting the boss. And with that idea in mind, she went and bought a teleport stone.

Licht

"And what the hell's a winged wolverine? Have you ever heard of such nonsense, a wolverine-- with wings? That's weird,"

Licht nodded calmly, following the man's short rant with a subtle, "Yes, I do believe that to be the perfect deduction of what the beast might be in this case. I would not feel too confident in a flying, angry Canadian, so we're actually probably fairly lucky in this case." he explained, his tone never fluctuating in the slightest. He was very serious here. I mean, who wants to fight THE Wolverine--- with the ability to fly?!

"Since it's the first hundred players who get the snazzy item, and seeing how I really don't want to do this by myself-- say we tag-team this bitch?" the man continued, proposing an offer.

The young, blue-headed man (Licht in this case), smiled. He sounded fun and the quest sounded fun. Why not? It would be a great experience, and it would likely lead to something to help Licht on his adventure. Hopefully it wasn't another blade that made angels convulse at the very sight of it. Beggers shouldn't be choosers.... but yeah that was a bit odd and he still had refrained from using his new sword in front of Kahlan, instead opting to keep using the blade he had before, which was much weaker than his angelbane. But before his mind digressed too much, Licht replied. "Sounds like the wolverine will be pulling its wings out its ass when we're done with it!" he proclaimed enthusiastically, offering his hand out for a shake. Around this time is when Solstice began introducing himself..... and Jeanne, after briefly apologizing for the boar, though that wasn't the biggest problem seeing as they had only stumbled upon the thing.

"I am Solstice-- and she's Jeanne." he claimed confidently, as though it were the truth.

Kahlan gave quite the interesting response. She seemed as though she did not want to offend him, and was also unsure if she was going to want to reveal her true identity. She was having more trouble relaxing into this game than he was, that was for sure, but then again, such should be obvious considering Licht kept his avatar the way it was, and out of the group of friends, his had to stand out more or less the most with its odd shade of hair and sword (which he did not have any longer, game master bless its soul).

"Well, like she said, this 'Jeanne' women is not she, and she can hold quite the grudge when she wants to, so I'd avoid referring to her as that, Solstice. By the way, I am Licht, and it is a delightful pleasure to meet you." by this time, his hand had retracted and the shake was no longer available. Too bad for him, it was friendship flavor. "You mentioned you had just earned your legs, so I assume you're a merman? In that case... we'll have to do two different quests so we obtain our equivalent of wings, as I am not an angel, like Kahlan seems to be lucky to be right now. Hmm.... I don't suppose we could use Kahlan to fly around. This is no Pokemon game.... Hmm......" Licht ended up losing himself in thought, likely much to Kahlan's chagrin, as his mumbles were basically his assumptions on how flying on her would work out compared to when you rode a small bird in pokemon. He gave her numerous looks, his eyes tracing the figure of her character's model, as if he were checking her out. Finally, he decided with the attention to detail they put in this game, he was sure they would not allow someone to carry multiple people - if any - while flying. Such a shame, truly.

"Hmm, we'll just have to get our own then. Shall we head off?"

Kahlan's lips turned down into a amused frown as Licht referenced the flying abilities of the Pokemon franchise. Yes it was true that she could at least carry one person. She found that out in her little adventure with Ven. She wasn't too confident she could lift two people but just the thought of Licht mounting her like an undersized Pidgey just seemed way too ridiculous. "D-Don't treat me like some sort of mount for transportation, moron! It's true I can carry one person but I'm not sure if I'd have enough strength to carry someone all the way up to Caleum. And what makes you think I'd let YOU ride me?" She huffed. "And stop looking at me like that!" Kahlan took Licht's head in her hands and turned it the other way. The flustered angel realized that she indeed was letting her personality IRL shine through but for some reason, it felt more fun this way. Back in ACO she was considered as the cool, calm minded, wise and protective mother of the group and though that was her as well, it was fun to just let go and show others how she really was. She had done something similar way back when during the first Valentines Day event in ACO where the player's avatars were switched with their true appearances IRL.

"Hmm, we'll just have to get our own then. Shall we head off?" Licht asked.

The red head twirled her white spear around her body and let it come to rest along her shoulders. "Well, first off where do we find these so called quests? I've got nothing better to do so I'll tag along to help out. The three of us would get the quests done faster than just the two of you anyway."

Kahlan also was the healer of the group so there would be no doubt that she would be needed. Though Kahlan's mind wandered to other matters. Considering that this was the first boss ever in Lacrezia, that would mean that all sorts of players would be scrambling to get at it for the rare items it dropped. That would mean she would probably have another run in with Ven. What would she say to her? Kahlan didn't know what she would even be able to say. "Ummm... Well sorry I tried killed you."? No.. that wouldn't work well at all. But no matter what she would have to find SOME way to apologize to the other red head who had helped her so much in the beginning. To make matters worse, she didn't even understand why she tried to kill her. Surely it wasn't what she said but that probably had a big part in it. Kahlan knew herself. She would never have had an outburst like that ever in ACO. Something overcame her at that moment. Some sort of force that drove her to attack in a blinded rage.

Kahlan shook her head. Now wasn't the time to ponder about this. There would be no use if they didn't get there first anyway.

"Lets get going. That boss isn't gonna beat itself for us."

"Hmm. Oh well, can't fault a guy for trying," Solstice said with a moment of disappointment. That moment passed just as quickly as it came however, and a goofy smile returned to his face not long after. His own spear was dug into the ground at his feet, his face leaning against the polished wooden haft. "Sorry about that Kahlan," He said, using her proper name this time, "I'm just looking for this Jeanne character, thought I'd give it a shot in the dark."

Solstice was quiet as the two had their back and forth, noting that they were quiet friendly with each other. He's wasn't so juvenile as to begin singing a song about trees and kissing, but that was always an option if he ever got to know each of them better. But he did manage a chuckle of sorts at their antics. He also noted her hesitation in giving out her name, but he thought nothing more of it and let it go without comment. People liked their privacy, after all. Once he was addressed by Licht again, he nodded in the affirmative. "From fins, to toes, to wings, it seems. I'm basically the evolutionary chain," He said with a chuckle.

"Angel hmm? Is flying as fun as swimming was for me?" Solstice cooed. "Or did it take you an hour in order to stop flying upside down?" He asked rhetorically, drawing his own parallels. It wasn't his proudest moment, hovering in water ass-over-head. Shaking his head, he looked over the planescape around them and pointed at Licht first. "Since I stole your kill," referencing the boar he had tracked down and he had killed, "and I'm nothing if not a fair gentleman," He said with a playful wink "let's do your quest first." That and he really wanted to see what the human version of the quest was first.

"Well captain, you're leading the boat for this quest. Where we heading?" Solstice said, hopping to attention and saluting.

"Well, no," Noel answered truthfully. "Actually, I attacked you because I'm on a quest to find a boss and to do that I have to use-" She withdrew the compass from her inventory without missing a beat. "-this thing, but I can only use it once before I have to beat somebody in a fight to recharge it. So, I started shooting at you 'cause you were there and looked like fighting you would be fun!" She grinned from underneath her concealing hood as though this explained and excused everything. "But the whole me testing you thing sounds like a better reason, so sure, let's just go with that."

Dusting herself off habitually, she opened her spell window. She did have an ability to teleport herself and any party members to any town she'd been to before - the mage's basic travel ability - and just her luck, it had finished recharging. If they needed to go somewhere to get Asher his mount, she could take them.

"You don't have a mount yet?" She sighed. "Ah well, them's the breaks. In that case, we probably still have some time, so let's go get you one, then hurry to the bossfight and win this thing before anyone else does!" Pumping her fist, she pointed dramatically in a random direction. "ONWARD!" She roared, relishing the confidence her anonymity gave her, and the chance to be as flamboyantly over-the-top as she could possibly manage. Rushing forward into the woods, she made it about a dozen steps before she came bounding back in an instant.

"Uh... where do you need to go again, exactly?" She asked with feigned sheepishness, serving as the punchline to her own joke. She couldn't help but want to laugh, imagining what Asher's expression would be when he finally realized that the hyperactive, manic girl he'd been talking to was actually none other than his own demure, shy girlfriend. Oh, it was going to be PRICELESS...

Asher Damons ~ Blade Slizer

The girl in the red clothes explained her attacking Asher, saying that she needed to beat somebody, another player presumably, and attacked Asher solely because of the fact that he looked fun to fight with. Well, if fun was defined by her to be trying to get in the first strike without even asking about a PvP match, then getting the 1's and 0's beaten the crap out of her health bar with just a few strikes. Seriously, you'd think the hub would show other players' levels? Maybe not automatically but if they brought up the menu for more information of said player, sure.

The girl sighed as Asher explained that he didn't have a mount. Before Asher could say anything else, however, the girl declared that they will get one and, like a little child on every piece of candy obtained overnight during Halloween, charged into the woods without direction. Asher crossed his arms, positive that the scene will go through like it usually does in an anime. He waited for a few moments. Tre. Due. Una. Asher mentally counted in Italian, a class he took once in high school before enrolling himself into another foreign language the year after taking it out of lack of interest.

"Uh... where do you need to go again, exactly?" He smirked a bit at the girl's question as she came back. Smiling a bit because of her own mistake. Seriously, it really is like having to take care of a young kid who ate all the cookies in the cookie jar. The girl laughed at her own mistake, which Asher couldn't help but do himself.

"Geez..." Asher chuckled. "You're a it energetic. I haven't gotten the quest yet, but I heard that there is a stable for Pegasus (Pegasi?) are found in this forest though." He shrugged. "Anyway, we haven't exactly introduced each other. My name is Blade. Yours?"

Licht

"Hmmm...."

He was not quite sure where these quests would be given. Perhaps the nearest city would hold clues, or maybe they would simply get the quest by hearing the announcement? Well, there was not really a way to know by just sitting there, so they should very well get that show on the road. Licht lifted his arms behind his back and stretched. It was around this time that Solstice began making comments, one of them being;

"let's do your quest first."

Licht smirked, a bit more determined...and playful "Oh my god, thanks! I always wanted my very own pony since I was a little girl, and now I don't have to wait~" he gave a hearty laugh, then added, "Well, I won't have to wait if we manage to find where the quest is being given...."

"Well captain, you're leading the boat for this quest. Where we heading?"

"Lets get going. That boss isn't gonna beat itself for us."

While he was aware that the most attractive one of the group tended to be the leader in these situations, if you went by the law of anime/movies/etc, Licht never asked for this. Not that he was complaining, but did he give off a leader-ey vibe? Then again, they were looking for his quest, so why not make him lead? Licht smiled widely, then started marching off towards the location of the last village he and Kahlan had visited. It would make more sense for the damn quest to be somewhere people visited, rather than the middle of nowhere. He looked back, giving each of them a wave of his arm, a signal to follow him already. He was getting excited -- not because of the pegasus, but because of this damn boss that they'd be able to take down. It would probably be the strongest thing Licht has had to face in this game yet, and although that was not really a feat to behold, it was still thrilling to know there'd be a challenge for them. Licht, a fan of anything that provided a good challenge, would not miss an opportunity.

"Okay, so we're going to be playing follow the leader to that village we passed a bit ago, and hopefully they'll tell us where to get our very own Rainbow Dash or whatever. Hopefully the quest doesn't prove to be too time-consuming, because we'll then look for a way to make you a flying fish." he looked directly at Solstice when adding that last part, with a playful smile as you would expect from him. "Sound like a plan?" he knew asking was redundant in this situation, as that is what they had agreed on, but why not clarify. "And then, after all of this, I can return to this dang forest and snatch me a damn Gold Boar." After they agreed, he continued on.

Eventually, they reached the aforementioned village, and within only a few minutes of looking (probably because there were a lot of people surrounding this particular NPC), they had found the quest giver. It was nothing too harsh; they simply had to go kill some monsters in this dungeon that was available to only those who had accepted this quest or were in the party with someone who did. It did not seem very difficult, so they could likely get this show on the road really quick if Solstice's quest was similar.

...

...

...

They did the job and money came with ease. But one couldn't stop, it's like he had a disease. Licht found his reward satisfying, so now they'd be able to go do one more and then they'd fight that boss that was mentioned before, which was really an exciting thought to Licht.

"Alright, mine down, one to go, correct?" he asked to his two companions.

(Eh, shitty post, sorry. Have a lot of catching up to do in other RPs. DX)

Most recent OOC posts in Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Nah, not worth discussing this anymore, nobody is interested anyway. Besides now that I got my graphic tablet I will be spending most of my free time drawing, not roleplaying.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Hmm, this OOC fell far behind and I forgot it DX

Assuming we're still able to discuss this, I'd say them having the ability to travel between mutlple worlds would be cool.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Hmm 1 vote for magic and 1 for technology and 1 who can't decide. Well, I think we will use technology, because I somehow feel like magic is bit overused and it also can't be explained very well, while with technology everything is clear.

With technology problem of time is also solved. It is clearly in future. Next question is the world. Will be Earth or some other sort of world? And if it's another world, what kind of world will it be? Will it have different animals. Will humans live on more than one planet? Will there be more than one sun?

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

FamishedPants wrote:I'd prefer technology. <3

Technology is always better, unless you have some type of magic that can cause a nuclear explosion or something..cause then..shit gets real.
EDIT: On the other hand, magic is pretty awesome..damn..I can't choose >-<

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Summoning, magic and technology..... No, it will get too messy.

Choose either technology or magic.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

FAMILIAR OF ZERO *cough, cough* Sorry. I'm not sure but how about a magic mixed with technology universe?

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

So what we go so far is:

*angel/demons/and other magical folk that are bound to person who can do nothing to influence it
*fighting
*romance

What we need to figure out:

*World
*Time setting
*Reason as to why those being are summon
*Magic or not
*The special element that will make it more interesting

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

That would be fine, I'm all for it :3

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

How about some romance mixed with action?

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Well, type of roleplay do we want?

Lovey-dovey, action-y, drama-y, suspense-y, sill-y? I can think of some examples if we have a clear type~

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

That was exactly what I mean. I guess I didn't specify it well enough. Question is what could be the main story of the rp? Anyone has any ideas. Any at all?

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

If we are going to go to the angel/demon bound to a human idea or whatever, I think it would be better if they were bound to one specific angel/demon and no one could do anything about. But the demon would have the choice of being sorta friends with the human, just completely rebelling against them or just flat out not caring about what the other one does at all.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Famished even if we happen to post everyday, we can't just throw out all characters. Maybe we can continue this sometime but for now let's leave it alone.

And that was just a random idea I had, I haven't though of it much, that's why I wanted to hear some ideas to connect it to ideas I had.

It could be demon bound to human or angel bound to human thing. Like every human with some powers has to summon a demon/angel/another magical creature companion. It is completely random and they can't influence it in any way. Demon summoning could be more rare since they eat human souls because they dont want to be bound by humans.

Also war must be going on somewhere. Because it aint fun if everybody will survive. Or something like that. Like I said I haven't planned this one out yet.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

I'm still willing to continue this RP if ever Mat posts again.

Also, I am interested in hearing about the idea you had, Ageha. Was there more thought out, or that was just the basis? Either way, I'm liking it so far.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

I still think that we can continue this roleplay, but only if we all work together on it ^-^ A roleplay needs all the group's effort, after all :D

But if you're into making a new roleplay, I'm with you, Ageha :D I liked the idea of people being bound to each other by a curse, and I think it would be nice to throw in a Lovecraftian theme :) (I've read a lot of his short stories, so I can provide information if needed) ^-^

I'm going to school now, so I'll think of a story idea in class :D

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

Okay, enough this useless waiting. Obviously we all are sick of this trapped-inside-video-game theme, so let's make a new roleplay! This time how I want to hear from you what would you like to roleplay or any ideas you might have.
I'm going to put them together and we'll create something completely new a cool.

I had idea of people being bound to each other by some kind of curse, but I have not figured out details.

Re: Lacrezia - The Reborn World

*Raises hand*

We can still do this, Ageha! :D Don't you worry ^-^
