Arella smiled and began leading them to her cabin as she walked she began answering Summer's questions. "Well, I certainly wasn't sent here by my own will. My grandmother found a way to force my parents to send me here. My grandmother believed that I was going down the wrong path and thought that if I met a few new friends then I would change by the time I went back home," She hated the fact that her grandmother wanted her to change, but of course it wasn't going to happen unless Arella wanted to and she most certainly didn't want to. Arella is who she is, there is no reason for her to change.

Aiden smiled and turned to follow the two girls. He grinned when Arella told him he had to stay outside and then at Summers reaction to her own question. "If it's a sore subject then why bring it up....As for me I guess I was sent here so I didn't have any fun and get into any trouble before leaving for college at the end of summer. According to my parents I party to much but it's not like any of us had a choice so we might as well try and make the best of our time here. Maybe if there are any other preps and or jocks at this camp we can band together and just ignore everyone and just act like we planned this trip with like minded friends." He said as they got toArellas cabin and he leaned against the outside of the cabin next to the door.

Summer nodded in understanding "Your grandma sucks for trying to change you I mean you are who you are" She could relate to that, her mother was always trying to change her no matter how hard she tried to fit into the perfect mold of who her mom wanted her to be. I mean she was a head cheerleader like her and she was popular like her and she was pretty like her, What more did her mom want?

She snapped back into focus to hear Aiden say his parents sent him here to stay out of trouble. She stopped herself from rolling her eyes. But she had to admit his make it their own prep/jock trip sounded amazing. "I am so in!" She grinned widely at both of them "This friendship is amazing already" She gushed, pleased with the idea.

"I'm here because my mother and father decided that out of all of their spoiled, annoying, yet loving he would send the one who actually had her life together. Or that's what they told me but the reality is their using me as an example since I'm the least closest to them. I mean aside from my spending habits at least. But who doesn't do a little excessive spending right?" She flipped her hair over her shoulder nonchalontly.

Arella nodded her head and opened up the cabin door, allowing Summer to follow her inside. "I shouldn't be long," she stated towards Aiden. After inside Arella started going through her clothes in her drawers and decided on a dark, metallic purple tank top that formed to her body and her favorite pair of black shorts. The female dropped the towel to the ground, revealing her hot pink crochet bikini and her dragon belly button ring. Within seconds she was stripped naked and began getting dressed as she spoke to Summer.

"I can't say that I know how you feel but my grandmother never could get over the fact of how much I party and have sex. Of course I do it protectively, but it still gets on my nerves. If my own parents can trust me out there in the world doing what I do, then why shouldn't my grandmother?" Arella pulled her clothes over her pale body then let down her natural red locks before reapplying a bit of makeup to her face that washed off when she was in the lake. "Alright Aiden, you can come inside!" she called out towards him as she continued applying the makeup.

Christian was sitting in the backseat of the Maybach Landaulet playing Angry Birds on his soon to be dead cell phone as he's mother talked his ear off about how she and his father thought this experience would be a good learning experience for him. Christian wasn't sure what the hell they expected a summer at some teenage summer camp was suppose to him. From what he had gathered from the time he spent researching camp Lawton Wood it was a place parents sent their teens to gained people skills and make friends. He was jock. He had tons of friends which to him meant he had pretty good people skills.

He in truth didn't have anything against summer camps, it was just at his age going to summer camp just sounded lame. Plus, he had planned out an intensive summer before college vacation and it had all gotten washed down the drain by his father. He didn't care what his parents though he was eighteen years old and the fact that while he was considered an adult by a legal standpoint but could still be sent away to a goddamn summer camp without a say in the matter just seemed really fucked up.

As the vehicle pulled up behind a bus it came to stop. He had finally arrived at Lawton Wood Summer Camp after spending six hours on the jet and an addition three in the car with his mother who he couldn't be more happy to get away from in that moment. As the chauffeur got out the car to get his luggage his mother reached out and grabbed his arm as he went for the door handle. "I don't even get a goodbye." He rolled his hazel eyes before shifted his body to look at his mother. "Goodbye mom." Quickly giving the woman a peck on the cheek he got out the car unintentionally slamming the car door behind him. The chauffeur had just finished setting his luggage on the curb when Christian had gotten out of the car. "Have a good summer sir", the man said tipping his hat to the young man with a smile. Christian resisted the urge to roll his eyes again as he just gave a fake smile and walked over to where his luggage was.

As the car drove away Christian sighed in annoyance as he gathered his things and walked onto camp grounds. He was met by a woman who appeared in her early thirties and wore a t-shirt that said counselor on it. "I see we have a late arrival here. Can I ask what is your name summer camper?" Her voice was chirper and sounded animated. It annoyed him. "Christian. Christian Wilde." A big smile spread across her face that made him feel uncomfortable as she looked down at a clipboard that was in her hands. "Chris ... Christian .... Christian Wilde! Your sir are in cabin number fifteen. If you will follow me I will -" Stopping her in her tracks he cut her off saying "Thanks but no thanks. If you don't mind I think I'll find it for myself." She looked like she was about to say something but he didn't stick around to find out what as he picked up his bags and started walking.

After Aiden left her to go back to his cabin and take a much needed shower Raquel continued on with her dora the explorer moment as she traveled through the camp. She had pasted the cafeteria, the nurse's station and couple of activity cabins that she suspected she would be spending a lot of her time in over the course of the summer. She had considered going off into the forest but not wanting to be that dumb girl who ventures off alone in every horror movie and ends up getting killed by the psycho killer hiding in the wilderness she decided against it heading back to her cabin.

Just as she made it back to her cabin she noticed a guy lugging bags. The bus had arrived over an hour ago so she didn't expect to still see people walking around with luggage. Her curiosity getting the better of her she decided to go and see what was going on with this guy. Walking away from her cabin she ran up to the guy, "Hey there pretty boy. What's with the bags? I figured by now everyone would be settled in or at the very less your stuff would be piled up somewhere in a corner in your cabin."

So far in the guy department this camp was two for two. Aiden while extremely cocky had a body she could stare at for days. This new guy while not as tall or muscular as Aiden had gorgeous hazel eyes that she could just get lost in, especially in times like now when the light of sun made they standout even more. If everyone in this camp turned out to be this hot she definitely wouldn't have a problem spending the entire summer at Lawton Wood.

Clarissa was getting out of the vehicle ignoring her mother's words. All she wanted was to begin her life on her own, she was eighteen and didn't need her mother bossing her around the way she was. After all, she had just graduated she didn't see the point of being sent to summer camp. She felt that she was going to be the only one here who was eighteen and wanting to get a move on on beginning her own life. But of course her parents wanted to butt into and tell her that they believe this would be best for her, she'd have some new friends. The blonde rolled her blue eyes and slammed the passenger side door as she slid her bags over her shoulders and grabbed her guitar out of the backseat before walking off in silence without saying a single word to her mother.

The female noticed that she wasn't the only late comer to the camp and she made her way over towards the woman who was speaking to the male. She thought that she'd check in to see where her cabin was. After giving her name to the woman she received that information that her cabin was number fourteen and that she'd be rooming with a girl named Stevie Blackheart. She shook her head and began making her way through the camp grounds, finding that she was going in the same direction the male was heading. Clarissa passed by the male who was speaking with a gorgeous girl, the entire time keeping her eyes glued to him. There was no denying how attractive he was and hopefully she'd be able to find some time to speak to him, but that would be after she unpacked her things. Clarissa kept walking and bumped straight into the sign saying that this was cabin fourteen and she sighed before cussing at herself and made her way inside the cabin finding that this girl had already unpacked her things. Clarissa made her way over towards her side of the room and began doing her own unpacking.

As Aiden waited for the girls leaning against Arellas cabin he looked around saw a guy just arriving to camp with all his luggage still inhand and it didn't take long before Raquel was right on top of him. He started to walk towards the two until he saw a blonde walk past them and right into a sign and he almost couldn't hold in the laugh and once she went inside he let it out. He looked over at the new guy that looked very familiar to him and with Raquels back facing him he gave the guy a thumbs up and mouthed the words ya get it she's good" to him before walking up to the sign and looking it over.

Aiden turned around with a grin on his face and walked up to the cabin the blonde had just walked into. "Excuse me blondie, you ran into that sign pretty hard did you even see if it was ok? Did you apologize to it what if you hurt it's feelings." He said with a big grin on his face waiting to see how the girl would react.

The female chuckled and looked over towards the male finding that he too was very attractive as well. At this point she was on the way to thanking her mother into forcing her to come here. "Haha, very funny. Have you ever thought about becoming a comedian? I'm pretty sure you'd do great with that!" the blonde stated sarcastically as she picked up her guitar case and placed it in the corner between her bed and dresser.

Christian causally strolled through the camp site with his bags in his hands. Making sure to pay attention to the cabin numbers as he passed by each cabin. As he walked he wondered what kind of roommate he would be paired with. He was told by his father that each camper got stuck with a bunkmate and Christian was just praying he didn't get paired with emo punk who listened to metal music and only owned clothing in black. He typically got along with most people so he wasn't particularly worried about back it did sit in the back of his mind. Seeing as he was a late arrival he expected that his roomie would have already chosen his side of the room which would suck but it wasn't like he had right to complain. He was late after all.

He was so focused on finding his cabin that he hadn't noticed the beautiful spanish girl walking beside him until she spoke. "Hey there pretty boy. What's with the bags? I figured by now everyone would be settled in or at the very less your stuff would be piled up somewhere in a corner in your cabin." He laughed at his nickname. Pretty boy he thought to himself as he looked at the beauty walking next to him. Checking her out as his eyes looked her up and down he took in her perfectly unblemished naturally olive skin, her sexy curves, silky looking honey blonde hair. On the hotness scale this girl was definitely the big ten in his opinion but he was going to keep that to himself for the meantime.

As they were passing cabin ten he noticed a guy standing outside the cabin. He looked vaguely familiar to him in the distance. As the gap between them closed more Christian recognized the guy and knew exactly where he knew him from. It was Aiden. They went to the same school and even played on the same football team that Christian had been captain of back home up until graduation. Looking back at the Aiden as he and the mystery girl who name he hadn't yet gotten he noticed Aiden giving him two thumbs up as he mouthed the words 'ya get it she's good' to him. Christian just chuckled as his shook his head turning his attention to the bombshell walking by his side. "Late arrival.", he said finally giving the girl somewhat of an explanation. "I just got-" he stopped mid-sentence as a blonde came into to view and collided with a sign. He repressed the laughter threatening to burst out of him. As the girl retreated into what he speculated was her cabin he turned his attention back to latina. "Damn. That looked like that hurt." He said returning to the girl who hit the sign as he stopped in front of cabin fifteen. "I guess this is me." He said looking the cabin up and down before turning to the girl. "Am Christian by the way. You know in case you were wondering."

Leah Anderson

Leah's heart sank to the bottom of her stomach. She hadn't even been here for a day, but people were already picking on her. What was a bunch of preppy city kids doing here anyway? Maybe this wasn't going to be like she thought it would. Dear lord, what have I done... she thought to herself at the realisation of how this summer was going to be. The jock who had just insulted her started flirting with Summer. Leah turned away from them and walked back towards the cabins. Her eyes began to water. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't you dare cry! What was wrong with her? She never cried. It wasn't good for anything.

She flung open the door to their cabin and sat down on her bed without closing the door behind her. She sat there for a few minutes until she calmed down again. Maybe she should change clothes after all? Things were different here. She got up and opened her closet. She pulled out a pair of regular blue jeans and a white top. Maybe this would attract less attention. She changed clothes - after closing the door of course, and laid down on the bed. "Grandma what am I doing here?" she whispered to the ceiling. "They're just a bunch of mean teenagers from the city. I don't belong here." Leah laid like this for a few more minutes and then decided to go outside again. She could just try and avoid the others after all. Don't be weak. Go outside and enjoy the weather... She brushed away the tears and walked out into the sunlight again. Her day was ruined. She felt weak for letting words hurt her, they didn't usually do that.

Stevie was sitting on a bench just outside of the red heads door, she noticed the girl sitting in her room looking a bit upset but decided not to say anything and just see how everything played out. When the girl walked back out of her room, changed into a completely different outfit, she noticed that she had been crying. Stevie instantly put Sera back in her case and carried the notebook and guitar with her as she ran over towards the red head to catch up with her. "Hey, are you alright?" Stevie asked in a calm, comforting tone. Whatever was bothering this girl she wanted to know, but whether or not she would tell her is a completely different story.

Stevie wanted to help in any way that she could. She knew that if she was upset she'd want someone to at least let her talk to them, so she figured she would try to help her out.

ImageSummer nodded as she listened to Arella. "I get it" When Arella called Aiden and he didn't enter she poked her head out the door and saw him talking to a blonde girl. She also spotted the cute latina from before talking to a very attractive new boy. She turned back to Arella and smirked "So much for friends the bastard ditched us already" She said with a goodhearted grin. She tilted her head to the side, inwardly questioning if she should talk to the Latina and the hot guy or the blonde girl. She tapped her chin thoughtfully before deciding she could do both later on at the campfire so she just remained with Arella. "Ooh I spot another prep and jock"
she gave them a welcoming smile from the doorway.

"So where are you from?" she asked sitting on one of the beds in the room. She pulled her hair to one side and began running her hands through one section of curls until they turned into mermaid waves, then focusing on another section. She had to admit, it was nice having another girl to talk to.

Arella smiled and looked out the window finding a blonde and another attractive jock. "Wow, late arrivals I suppose?" she stated in a calm tone then turned towards Summer. "I'm from Miami Beach," she responded as she sat down on her bed. It really was nice talking to another girl who wasn't judging her every move. She didn't really get this much back at home, maybe this camp idea was going to be good for her. "How about you?" she questioned.

Arella stood up from her bed, finding that she couldn't just sit in one spot for too long and began making her way out the cabin door, signaling for Summer to tag along with her. Hopefully the campfire would start soon, it was beginning to get a bit chilly in her opinion. The red head hugged her arms tightly around her body trying to keep warm as best as she could as she talked with Summer.

ImageSummer gasped "I live in Orlando!" She said as she followed Arella out the door. She shivered as soon as the wind hit her. "Woah!" She said hugging her arms to her chest. "Can we stop by my cabin next? I need real clothes" She said with a shudder. She missed Orlando already, where the sun shines bright and the nights are warm. She began walking towards her cabin. Lucky for her it wasn't a long walk because it didn't take too long for puckered goosebumps to pop up along her smooth tan skin. she pulled her hair to the front trying, in vain, to warm her exposed stomach. Which currently only had a thin tank separating her from the cool summer night. She assumed the wind had something to do with the lake, but she didn't pay attention much in science class so she wasn't sure.

As they made their way to her cabin she looked around the camp "You know if they had electricity this place might not be so bad" She commented, though she wasn't sure whose benefit the comment was for. Was she stating an observation or was she trying to make herself feel better?

Once the girls reached her cabin she opened the door to see a distraught Lea and one of the other campers. She slipped her index finger to her lips to signify that they should be quite before slipping in, which she could do since her are was closest to the door and crammed with her stuff. She reached in one of her bags and pulled out a black bra and thong, black leggings, a lace sweetheart cami that dipped a bit into her ample cleavage, a long sweater and her cream Toms. Then she slipped back out.

"My roommate was having a meltdown." She explained as she walked to the side of the dorm. "Can you keep guard? She asked as she slipped into the blackness behind the dorm. Once she knew nobody could see her, at least not from the front, she stripped out of what she was wearing and slipped into the outfit. She let a sigh escape as she felt the goosebumps settle into her skin.

She was laughing as she reemerged "All right all done" She said as she tucked her clothes on the stair railing of the cabin entrance. "So what now? She said as she applied red velvet red lipstick on her lips. She also pulled out a compact mirror from her fringed cross body bag and applied a thin winged eyeliner. She also pulled out a gold heart necklace that said "I love you" on it . "I carry accessories with me everywhere BTW, so if you need some I'm your girl"

Image So far, the people at this camp wasn't any thing like Layla had imagined. Not long after Stevie left, Layla decided that she should also make her way back to her cabin. She turned to Evie ''I'm starting to miss my headphones'' she grinned ''And I had better go and actually meet my roommate, I'll see you around''. With that she left.

They seem cool Layla thought as she made her way back to her cabin. She was starting to feel a bit better about the fact she'd have to spend all summer here. She walked back past the lake and crossed in front of the Cafeteria. On the way back she also passed some cabins that people were staying in and couldn't help but think about the people in them. how many others are staying her she thought. Layla found it easy to start arguments and she knew there was no way she would get along with all of them. Now, which cabin was it again she wondered as she wandered around. Cabin 6 I think.

When Layla got back to her cabin she went straight to her suit case to unpack properly and put on her headphones. Her roommate still wasn't back, but she didn't mind, she had her music to keep her occupied. as she unpacked she looked at the clothes she had brought, There was nothing that really stuck out to her other that the black bikini with skulls on it. Am I ever even going to wear a bikini she thought as she shoved her clothes into a drawer. she wasn't untidy, she just didn't put much effort into keeping things tidy.

Layla sat on the edge of her bed with her sketch pad and began to draw while waiting for her roommate. Layla had always enjoyed drawing and found that it was a great way to express her emotions. The peacefulness of the cabin made it the perfect place to concentrate on her sketch. This camp isn't quite as awful as I thought, hopefully the foods good she grinned to herself.

Arella smiled when she heard that Summer lived in Orlando. "Awesome! Maybe we could hang out every now and then after the summer is over!" she stated in a sing-song tone. The red head really was happy that she met someone who lived a little close to her. Once they walked into the cabin she stood there in silence and followed the blonde outside. She was a bit shocked that she was going to change outside, but it didn't bother her. Arella stood guard to make sure nobody would see her changing and giggled a bit once Summer was finished. "Do you happen to do that a lot?" Arella questioned in a giggly tone.

Arella was a bit curious as to what was going on with Summer's roomie, but she wasn't going to butt into something that she had no business butting into. Arella slid her hands into her black leather jacket pockets and kept her pace beside Summer as they continued to walk through the campground.

It was a long and painful ride to Lawton Wood summer camp. Just her and her mother. The woman wouldn't even let her listen to the radio, or her I-pod. No, they had to talk the entire time. So it turned into a several hour, why aren't you better, speech. Summer camp was the best thing to ever happen to her. She didn't have to spend the entire summer with her mother. Granted she had to spend it with a bunch of people she didn't know. But anything was better than with her mother.

Celia slid out of the car and got her luggage out of the trunk. A duffel bag, a suit case, and her messenger bag. She didn't carry a purse, so the messenger bag was her substitute. Something she could carry about to keep her important stuff in. She didn't even say goodbye to her mother, she just walked into the camp without a word. She made her way over to a bulletin board that had all the cabin numbers posted on them and found that she was alone for the moment. Which was all the better. Her stuff didn't take too much space, but it gave her more room to dance.

She made her way to her cabin, number 5 and went inside. It was a nice little place and she didn't mind it at all. She set her stuff down and unpacked, keeping in mind that she could have a roommate at some point. Once that was finished she decided to go out and make some friends. Or at least, figure out who to avoid for the summer. Though she had a feeling that it would hard to avoid, since they were sent here to make friends and there would probably be a lot of activities for that. Before she left she put on her trust brown, fingerless, leather gloves, like one would find in some sort of medieval film or something. They went up to her elbows and would be useful if she decided to go climbing or something. Most of it was hidden by her denim jacket but you could still see she was wearing them.

Celia headed out of her cabin and started making her way back to the main area of the camp, where she had seen some people on her walk to the cabins. It was time to make herself known.

Image Christian was pretty quiet during their walk to his cabin as he seemed pretty focused on observing the cabin numbers as they passed the cabins. It turned out that Christian wasn't the only late arrival as a blonde passed the two of them holding bags in her hands. Had Raquel known that the bus ride was optional and she could arrive late she would have taken a road trip of sorts before showing up.

"Late arrival." Christian spoke finally giving an answer to her earlier asked question. "I just got-" As Christian stopped talking in mid-sentence Raquel made a small gasping sound as the blonde walking in front of them hit a sign. "Damn. That looked like that hurt." He said speaking the obvious. "No shit. I hope she's okay." She was about to suggest they go check on her when Aiden appeared at the blonde's side. "I guess this is me." She turned around noticing Christian had stopped in front of cabin fifteen. "Am Christian by the way. You know in case you were wondering." Realizing that she had never properly introduced herself she smiled, "Raquel."

She noticed that a bunch of campers were starting to head in the direction of the cafeteria. She hadn't eaten anything since yesterday as she had woken up late today and had to skip breakfast in order to catch the bus. "Looks like it's about to be meal time." She said looking back at Christian as the wind picked up a little sending a chill throughout her body. Her clothing didn't do much in the sense of keeping her warm as she was in only a crop top, a pair of shorts and sandals. "I think I should head to cabin now and change into something a little less summery. Am in cabin six. If you want swing by in a few minutes and we can walk to the cafe together."

With a final smile she left cabin in front of his cabin as she went back to her own. It wasn't a long walk but by the time she got there goosebumps had formed all along her body. Entering her cabin she noticed a girl sitting on the edge of the second bed with headphones on and a sketchpad in hand. So this is my roommate she thought to herself as she closed the cabin door behind her. She seemed to be in a zone of some sort so Raquel didn't interrupt as went to her dresser and began rummaging through the drawers for something warmer to put on.

She took out her ex's red plaid shirt that she had never returned and for whatever reason packed and taken along with her and a pair of ripped style skinny's she went into the bathroom to change as she wasn't sure how her roommate felt about things along the line of nudity and such. Exiting the bathroom a couple of minutes later she figured she should inform her roomie about everyone heading to the cafeteria. Walking over to her she gently tapped her shoulder, "Hey. Am Raquel and I guess if this is your cabin your my summer roomie." She turned walking over to her strappy black heels plopping down on her the edge of her bed she continue talking as she put them on. "Not sure if you knew this or not but everyone seems to be heading over to the cafe. We can got together if you want?" She said getting up and going to the bathroom.

Picking up her dirty clothes she tossed them into the hamper that was in the room before walking back out undoing the french braid she had done early. Running her fingers through her hair as she walked back over to her dresser she got the brush that rested on top of it and gently ran it through her hair. When satisfied with the results it had produced she put on some lip gloss and was ready to go. Turning around to face her roommate she asked "So, you coming with?"

Layla Grey

ImageLayla didn't hear the cabin door open with her headphones on. She was engrossed in her drawing and had her music on fairly loud. She didn't notice her roommate until the girl tapped her on the shoulder and said "Hey. Am Raquel and I guess if this is your cabin your my summer roomie.'' Layla removed her headphones, and Raquel continued "Not sure if you knew this or not but everyone seems to be heading over to the cafe. We can got together if you want?"
Layla was relieved that her roommate didn't seem bad. I had better introduce myself she thought.
''Nice to meet you roomie''. She said, casually wrapping her headphones around her iPod. ''I'm Layla ''

Layla considered Raquel's offer to go and get food, she hadn't eaten much since she had arrived and she was hungry. what I could really do with now is a coffee Layla thought to herself.
''Are you coming with?'' Raquel asked. ''I could do with some food'' Layla responded Shoving her iPod in her pocket, she put her shoes on and took a glimpse in the mirror to make sure her eye makeup was still alright since it was the only makeup she ever really bothered with (occasionally she also wore lipstick).

Thank god she's not horrible. Layla thought with relief as she followed Raquel out the cabin door. ''So any idea if the food here is actually edible?'' Layla asked with a grin.

"Now, remember if at anytime you need to come home, just call me and I'll be up there as soon as I can. Mrs. Cartier said towards her daughter as the Cartier family exited the airport, luggage in hand as they started their walk towards their rental car with personal driver, complementary from Lacey's future school. It was surprising to her that they were okay with this summer camp idea, that they weren't forcing her to go to training, but her father/manger was a great persuader. As the family of five headed into the car, someone tapped on her shoulder. Lacey turned around to see a group of three there smiling at her. She didn't hear what they seeing that she had taking out her cochlear implant, so she wouldn't to answer a bunch of questions from people who knew who she was. She held up a finger, telling them one moment as she pulled her implant out of her bag and slipped it on. The young girl looked back at the group with a smile. "Sorry about that, what can I do for you?" She asked them before having a journal pushed in her direction as the young red headed girl named Star asked her to sign right next to her autograph of Micheal Phelps and a couple of other famous, or almost famous people from the Olympics. She then saw herself being pulled into a picture with the trio before them taking pictures of her and them separately.

"Excuse me, guys. But, we really must get going. C'mon, sweetie. We don't want you to be late." Her father said as he looked at the group with a kind smile before somewhat pushing the girl into the white Ranger Rover before telling the driver to start the drive to the camp. "'Ey, buddy. You know where you're heading right?" Alexander asked the driver before getting a nod and a 'yes sir' in respond. Mr. Cartier nodded once before turning back towards his family and putting up the screen divider as the family of five started talking about the plans for the summer.

They weren't far now, seeing that they weren't far behind the bus and a few other cars of people who didn't take the bus. She thought the bus was necessary but, then her mother told her how she called up the owner and said that she needed to drop Lacey off at the camp just to make sure everything was settled, as if the girl was a child instead a incoming college freshmen.

"Now, like your father said, if you need anything get a hold of us as soon as possible. Especially if the 'you-know what' starts spreading." Mrs. Cartier said to her daughter as she signed the words as well, seeing that Lacey didn't have her cochlear implant in at the moment, not that her mother seemed to noticed at the moment seeing that she was going on and on about what she wanted Lacey to do during the summer.

"Jesus, mom. You're making it sound like a rash or something. It's just a small word. Say it with me, cancer. If the cancer spreads. Besides didn't Uncle Jay say it shouldn't spread for a while?" Lacey said as she signed back the words as well. "Your uncle Jay also told you that cheerleading was a great sport. Obviously, the man doesn't really have a lot going on up there." The older man said as he pointed to his head as he signed towards their adoptive daughter. "Damn it Ella, she doesn't even have her thing it. Lace, c'mon, stop messing around." Her siblings just started to chuckle without lifting their eyes up from their phones. Lacey groaned before taking it out of her bag once more and slipping it on. "Sorry." Lacey said as she tried to hide the growing smile on her face. "Anyway, remember what we talked about. Trai..--"

"Train whenever I can, relax after training, don't get myself killed or injured especially my throwing arm, and don't do anything that will make you have to come up here and kick someone's ass." Her father high-fived his daughter as he spoke. "That's my girl. And, I talked to the school and they will contact me if they need anything and I'll write you a letter int order to get the information to you, okay?" Her family wasn't used to not being able to reach Lacey, she always had her phones on; professional and personal and she always had her computer or tablet with her at all times to make conference calls with her agent and with the reps from her future school. But, Lacey just shook the thought out of her head and smiled as she turned up the radio as one of her birth mom's songs started playing started. Alison started singing as their brother just looked up and opened the window and sunroof and started dancing in his seat along with his sisters. Their parents just rolled their eyes as they put in their soundproof earbuds and started making their business calls. And boy did those earbuds work, all anyone using them could hear is the other person, no matter what side of the conversation they were as if they were alone. Which Lacey turn it up even more. She loved listening to her mom and sure, her new album was a bit of a T.M.I. But, hey, she was a grown woman and people still loved it.

Within the next couple minutes, the driver stopped and got out of the car to help Lacey out. "Thank you sir." She said as he nodded towards her and waited for her parents to get out. When they did, her mother handed her the replacement cochlear implant just in case she misplaced the other one, again for the fourth time. Lace chuckled nervously as she took it and put it in her bag along with her other important things along with her phone just so she could play music. Her mother hugged her as did her father before saying goodbye and heading back into the car and driving off. Lace picked her two bags and put them on her shoulders before grabbing her last bag and rolling it behind her. As she looked around the camp, she could see a few people walking around but, she really wanted to set her stuff down before finding a group of guys to hang out with. She wasn't against the idea of being friends with girls but, most girls didn't like her or they did but, only because she was 'semi-famous'. Other than that, all her friends back home were guys, athletic guys to be even more specific.

But, at least she might make friends with her cabin mate. As she walked into her cabin, she could tell that her roommate already left, no surprise seeing that the Cartier rarely ran on time for anything but a game, tryout, or meetings...doing with sports, a game, or tryout Lacey had. The girl groaned as she set her stuff down on the floor as she grabbed out her sheets and started making herself at home. And with int five minutes everything was up, a picture of her and both of her families together on the night stand next to her, her Stanford bedspread was all nice and perfect along with her poster of the school with an Olympic poster right next to it matching her favorite pillow. She backed up and looked at her side of the room with a proud smile. "Perfect. Just one more thing." Lace said as she reached in the bag that held all of the stuff for her room and pulled out her 'I woke up like this' black and pick pillow and set it in the corner where the bed and wall met.

She put her clothes away but, left her Letterman jacket out, hanging it up in the middle of the two posters she had up. She grabbed her messager bag and jacket before heading out to explore the rest of the camp. It wasn't that bad, sure she had no contact with the outside world, but hey. Could be worst, she could back home with all the stress of school, fame, and her agent. She needed this time away from everything, beside who knows? Maybe it might be worth it. She slid on her sunglasses and started walking towards the mess hall, after asking one of the other campers what was going on.

As she walked in, she took a seat with nothing but a bowl of fruit in front of her as she sat away from a majority of the other campers. She reached in her bag to toss in her glasses and grab out her journal/planner that held everything in it; meetings, events, interviews, outing with friends {not much of that one}, and well, close to anything else you could name that someone might need to or want to remember.

Evie watched as Layla walked away to her cabin, and threw her skateboard down again, mounting it and riding off, with no real destination.

Okay, She swerved left and right, avoiding roots and bushes, Lets see... I've got two non-enemies and one... friendly acquaintance? She performed a simple ollie over an overlying branch and pushed down the trail.

That's not so bad for a first day...

She was about to swerve again when her stomach grumbled.

You know what I could really use? An...

Evie unfortunately didn't get to finish her thought as her board rolled straight into a root, sending her flying off of it. She landed with a tumble, scratching her forearms on a thorn bush and scraping her right knee. As soon as she came to a full stop, she groaned audibly.

'Ow...' She rolled over on her back and flapped her arms out to her side, both with small bits of blood here and there running down to the ground. The scrapes weren't entirely serious, and they only hurt a bit, but Evie didn't bother getting up. She laid on the leaves, letting her skin stain just a bit redder, and groaned again.

'Eh... Screw you, hunger!' She raised a bruised fist to the sky and shook it irritably. Letting it fall lazily to the ground, she stared at the sky, tiredly watching the clouds go by.

'First day of this damn camp,' she muttered, 'And I'm already looking comparable to that dude from Amnesia.'

Clarissa Storm Williams

Image
Clarissa sighed and made her way out of the cabin with her black jacket over her shoulders. Everyone seemed to be heading out to the mess hall for dinner before the campfire tonight so she figured it would be best for her to grab something to eat. She just hoped that the food would be edible. As she was making her way into the mess hall, she noticed many of the campers already grouped together with each other and talking up a storm. Clarissa found herself in line and grabbed a cheeseburger with a bowl of fruit and water bottle.

The blonde glanced around the mess hall and found a table with a mocha toned girl sitting alone, she figured it would be nice to sit with her since she was alone with nobody to talk to. Even though she didn't look like the type of people she was used to hanging out with, it might be nice to talk to someone she normally wouldn't. Clarissa smiled and maneuvered around the other campers, making her way to the table. After her arrival she sat down across from the girl, finding that she had been busy looking in some type of planner. The blonde shrugged her shoulders at what she was doing and opened her water bottle as she began to speak to her. "Hello, I'm Clarissa," she introduced before taking a sip of her water and resealing the lid upon the bottle.

From what she could tell this girl was really pretty, she seemed sporty. But she didn't have a problem with that. She loves being able to get to know different people, it helps her with her social skills and maybe in the long run she'd gain friends she never thought she'd have. Who knows, maybe Clarissa might be into some of the same things this girl sitting across from her is into as well?

"Looks like it's about to be meal time." Christian looked around at the campers all walking in the same direction. He hadn't been there long enough to know what was in what direction so he took Raquel's word for it. "I think I should head to cabin now and change into something a little less summery. Am in cabin six. If you want swing by in a few minutes and we can walk to the cafe together." His gaze went back to her when she spoke. With nighttime quickly approaching the temperature outside was steadily dropping. Raquel was dressed for the early morning summertime weather but as a frequent camper he knew when you came out to places like these it got darker and far colder than in the cities.

"Cool. I'll stop by after I finish putting my things away." She smiled at him than went on her way to her cabin. Entering his cabin Christan was surprised to see that the cabin was unoccupied. He didn't want to get to excited about this but by the way it was looking either he was by himself for the summer or his roommate was running even later than him. He didn't have time to think about it as he had to get to Raquel's cabin. He threw his bags onto the closest bed to him and unloaded it making sure to leave room just encase it turned out that he did have a roomie.

It didn't take him real long to unpack his things as he just stuffed his already folded clothing into the drawers. He lined up his footwear beside the dresser and but his bathroom supplies in the bathroom. Everything else he had he just put onto of the dresser and he was ready to go. Grabbing his grey sweater he put it on as he exited his cabin. It wasn't a long walk to cabin six and he reached the cabin just as Raquel and a black-hair girl who he assumed was her roommate was exiting the cabin. "Don't tell me your were about to leave without me." He said speaking to Raquel as he approached the two girls. "Hi. Am Christian." He said this time introducing himself to the new girl who he was just meeting.

Layla Grey

Image Layla followed Raquel out of their cabin. It was nearly evening and the temperature was dropping. I should have worn a jumper She thought to herself. Layla looked over towards the lake. The sun was just beginning to set behind the lake and it cast a shine onto it that Layla couldn't help admiring.

Layla noticed a dark haired boy making his way towards the cabin. She wondered who he was and why he was walking towards them. She wondered how many more people were actually staying at the camp. As the boy came closer to them, he spoke to Raquel. "Don't tell me your were about to leave without me." he said. He must know Raquel already Layla thought. He introduced himself as Christian.

''Hey Christian, I'm Layla.''She responded. So far, the people at this camp had surprised Layla, they were nothing like Layla had expected. She had come to camp expecting them to be nasty like the teenagers at her school. But the ones she had met weren't like that at all. This summer is starting to look up already. she thought as the three of them continued to make their way towards the cafeteria.
