Summer is a vivacious girl. People seem to be drawn to her and with her angelic looks, infectious laughter, and blatant confidence, it's easy to see why. Summer is the type of girl who is always surrounded by people. Summer always seems to have a smile on. Summer loves to make people laugh. It's not uncommon to see her making some perverted joke .Summer is one of the most supportive Loyal girls you may ever meet. When you friends with her she will tick by your side by thick and thin.
Summer is a little ball of energy. She always seem to be jumping or running. Maybe it's the cheerleader in her, or maybe she's just hyper but she can't seem to sit down.
Summer isn't perfect though. She truly is a spoiled princess. She likes to get what she wants when she wants it, and she won't back down until she gets it. She is also vain. She knows she's cute and loves yo flaunt it. But even with her being a spoiled princess she has never been a brat. She didn't throw temper tantrums. In he case she just bought whatever she wanted without asking. Summer has always been passive. Always been slow to fight. She'd much rather an apologetic brunch together. Some say that is a gift while others say that makes her weak

Character Back Story

Looking at Summer Makinna, with her long pale hair, tan skin, and big blue eyes, it's easy to assume she's perfect. Hell, people have been assuming Summer was a perfect little angel her entire life. However Summer has never been much of an angel. The daughter of a rocker tattoo artist and a BeBe homemaker, Summer got the best of both worlds. Her mother came from a wealthy family and her father is a famous tattoo artist so money was never really an issue for them. And her parents had no issue spending money on their daughters every whim. So why they were surprised that their daughter grew up to be a superficial teenager? Now her parents have decided to send her to Lawton to teach her to be "Independant", whatever that means.

Arella sat on the bus keeping to herself the entire ride to Lawton Wood Summer Camp. This was going to be the first time she had ever attended one and she could already tell she may not like it in the end. After all, she didn't know anyone who was going to be there, at least from who she could tell was on the bus. The red head just wished her grandmother didn't force her parents to have her go to this stupid camp. Arella had better plans for the summer then spending it with bratty teenagers she didn't even know.
Once the bus arrived at the camp she climbed off following the other teens. The young female looked up at the wooden sign with the words Lawton Camp and let out a frustrating sigh as she slung her backpack over her left shoulder. The female took a deep breath before making her way under the sign and officially onto the camp ground.

Caius spent the entire bus ride doing three things. Listening to his I-Pod, chewing gum, and staring blankly out the window. In the back of his mind he still couldn't believe that this was happening. He could have been practicing with his band, getting somewhere with what he wanted his career to be. But instead he had to spend the entire summer trapped in camp with people he didn't even know, or really want to get to know. His parents were only making him go because they thought he should make some friends, that he spent too much time focusing on music. Well at least he had something he loved to focus on, unlike them. They were trying to make him go their route, barely getting enough money to get by, but being safe, consistent. They didn't want him on the roller coaster ride that was being a musician. But that wasn't going to change and they knew that.

When the bus stopped he picked up his guitar case and backpack from the seat next to him, a nice assurance that nobody else would be sitting there, and got off with the rest of the teens. His backpack was heavy, probably due to the entire case of white Ultra Monsters that he had stuffed in there, along with some snacks and candy. Stuff to get him by for the as long as he could. His parents had also given him one of their credit cards, their way of trying to make it up to him, he could buy whatever he wanted from the general store that they had here.

Caius wordlessly helped the adults unload the bus, for the sheer reason that he wanted to get his stuff and get away from all the teens as quickly as possible. Once that was done to grabbed his suitcase and took off into the campgrounds. Hoping that they got their cabin assignments soon. He wanted to explore, find a nice quiet hidden spot that he could call his own, and spend as much of the summer as he possibly could there.

Summer sat toward the middle of the bus. She predominantly smiled as people passed her or listened to her iPhone. Occasionally her over bearing mother sent her a text message saying this was best for her and she missed her dearly already. Or her sister sent her a text about how much this blowed or promised to make sure that Johnny ( Summer's crush of two years, who also is her best friend and her enemy's boyfriend) doesn't become his bitch girlfriends pawn.

The blonde looked down at her outfit. A floral bustier fit tightly to her curvy torso and snug white low rise shorts hugged her hips but were also short enough to show off the rose tattoo on her thigh. She decided to wear cream canvas toms on her feet and a gold chain along her ankle with a small gold heart on it. A similar gold chain dangled on her neck as well.

At some point she fell asleep and woke up , rather gracelessly, to see them pulling into the camp. She smoothed her shirt down and finger combed her hair from the top to the ends which hung just above her waist. She was suddenly glad that she decided to curl her hair that morning. She climbed out the bus and looked around, as her eyes adjusted to the bright lights. When she heard a grunt and a muttered "Dumb blonde" behind her she blushed and rushed off the bus mumbling "How Rude"

She walked over to a board that other students were congregating to and looked for her name. "Lean Anderson..." She read aloud looking around, as if she would spot her based on her name. Finally giving up on her roommate magically popping up out on nowhere, she headed to her Cabin.

Once she put away her clothes, feminine products, multiple hair products, and seemingly endless makeup she pulled her curls into a high ponytail and got ready to head out. But not before leaving a note on the mirror saying "Sorry for all my crap If you need to move it you can, just make it neat. xoxo Summer." Then she slipped her fringed bag on her shoulder and shoved a cherry Chapstick, a rose pink lipstick, a water, mini brush, iPhone, and nail file in it.

She slipped out her Cabin and began to walk around. It was a nice day hot, but not too humid and when she felt a breeze pass her she let her hair out of the ponytail. It fell down to her waist cloaking her like a veil. When she finale looked up she spotted a big muscular blonde guy going for a run. At least he's making the best of his time She thought to herself.

Earbuds in her ears, music turned up as loud as it could possibly go, bare legs crossed with left leg bouncing along to the beat of the music that was playing from her cell phone, the brunette hummed along with the song that was playing. Every now and then she'd get complaints from other kids who were on the bus with her, but she just shrugged them off and continued on with what she was doing. After all, even though she was forced to go to this stupid summer camp, she still had to work on her own music.

Once the bus pulled up to the camp she let out a relieved sigh, happy that she was finally going to be able to get off this stuffy bus and out into the fresh air. The young female pushed through the crowds to get to her things in the back of the bus. Before making her way over towards the room board she checked on Sera, her beautiful red fender guitar. After finding that she was alright, she closed the case and continued making her way towards the board. After scrolling down the list she noticed that she had been the only one in the entire camp who didn't have a roommate. Well at least that is until late comers show up.

The young brunette smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she began making her way through the crowds once more and into cabin fourteen. Leaving the door wide open for the fresh air, she claimed the bed by the window and began unpacking. Once she was finished she pulled Sera out and began strumming the strings as she sang along to the original song she had been working on for the past month.

Leah glanced around the bus. Most of the teenagers were looking at their phones or sleeping. Leah didn't own a phone, never had. She leaned against the window and looked up at the sky outside. This was as long away from home she had ever been and she felt great. Everyone else on the bus seemed to be dreading the place they were going, but Leah was quite positive about it. No matter what, it couldn't be worse than home.

The bus finally stopped and she tried to get off, but a boy bumped into her. "Watch where you going.. redneck" he hissed before pushing her aside and jumping out of the bus. Was it really that obvious where she was from? Leah followed carefully behind him, trying not to let the words hurt her. He was probably just having a bad day. She briefly helped getting the others luggage out of the bus, then she grabbed her own suitcase and followed the crowd to a bulletin board with names on it. After letting everyone else look first, she finally found her own name. "Leah Anderson and Summer Makinna," she whispered to herself. Summer was a nice name. She wondered if the girl would be nice too.

Leah started to walk, but then realized she didn't know where she was going. The only cabins she could see from here had the numbers 11, 12 and 13 on them. Hers was number 7. She glanced around the camping site. The place was beautiful. She wanted to go find her cabin as soon as possible so she could start exploring the area. She looked around to find someone she could ask for help. There was a big shirtless guy talking to some pretty girl. Then there was another blonde girl not far from them. She didn't want to ask the two people talking. The guy looked a bit intimidating. She decided to ask the blonde girl who was on her own. She looked like someone from the big city and Leah couldn't help feel a little nervous. She took a deep breath and instinctively grabbed the cross she was wearing around her neck. She might hate talking to strangers, but she wasn't gonna let it show. She walked over to the girl who was dressed nicely. Leah couldn't help compare the blondes outfit to her own worn-out dress and old boots. "Do you know where I can find cabin 7?" she asked with her thick Southern accent and smiled.

Layla Grey

Image Layla spent most of the bus ride listening to music and hadn't bothered to look at any of the others on the bus. ''God, I hate buses''she thought and continued looking out the window. there is no way she would have survived the ride without her Ipod. it was the old, but it had served her well.

Once the bus finally arrived at the camp, Layla grabbed her luggage(Mainly just clothes and her back up pair of headphones) and made her way over to the notice board to check her cabin pairings with her headphones still on.She found her name and her cabin pairing ''Raquel Pierce, Wonder what shes like?''. On the way to the cabin, she couldn't help but notice the lake. ''Didn't Know there was a lake here'' she thought. At the cabin Layla took out her headphones and put her Ipod in her bag. Her foster parents wanted her to make loads of friends, but Layla didn't see that happening. ''I wont be here long, it will be over soon. I hope''.

Layla had gotten up early that morning as she had forgotten to pack and she decided to try and get some sleep. The bed in the camp wasn't as uncomfortable as Layla had imagined. ''Maybe I could sleep all through this stupid camp''. . But she couldn't with the sunlight coming in through the window. She decided she had better get acquainted with at some of the others.
''wonder if anyones worth talking to'' she said to herself, as she was leaving the cabin. 'I just hope they don't
ask questions''

Image"Do you know where I can find cabin number seven?" A unmistakeable southern accented voice asked. Summer turned and flashed her that easy smile of hers "As a matter of fact I do since it's my cabin" She said with a grin. She held out her hand which, as she just noticed, was professionally done with acrylic tips and was painted teal except for both of her middle fingers which were a multi colored aztec pattern and her her thumbs which had a white dreamcatcher that was lightly coated with glitter. She frowned at her hand "Well this manicure is going to go to waste here." She said pouting a bit.

"Anyway" She said in a sing song voice. "I'm Summer, your new roommate... cabin mate... whatever" She dismissed the thought with a flick of her delicate wrists. She glanced at the girl for a moment. She seemed like the sheltered type and from her lack of makeup, lack of.... um trendy clothes, and dingy boots (though in the girls defense vintage and grunge were in). She also noticed that the girl looked totally lost and nervous.

She couldn't help it, Summer melted. The girl reminded her so much of her little Sister Daisy. Summer was the second oldest daughter of a family of five girls and three guys. Which in order were Dean, Hudson, Mercedes (Because she was conceived in a vintage Mercedes) , Summer (She was born in Summer), Anahi , River (Their parents decided they wanted another child while on a picnic at a riverbank) , Daisy (picture of a daisy field in the hospital room), and Clover (No explanation).
"Ok so I'll just show you to our cabin" She said linking her arms with the girl. She knew she would look unusual and obviously contrasting next to the girl but she planned to change that "So how do you feel about makeovers" She asked nonchalantly.

"I'm Summer, your new roommate... cabin mate... whatever" Leah smiled at the thought of spending the rest of the summer with this girl. Summer was everything Leah was not, yet she seemed nice. It could have been a lot worse.
Her new roommate wrapped her arm around hers and began pulling her towards their cabin. "So how do you feel about makeovers" Summer asked. "What do you mean?" Sure she could use some new clothes, but was it really that bad? Leah remembered how the boys used to call her pretty in school. Maybe it was different in the city. She glanced up at the sky and then back at Summer. Linking arms with a total stranger like this suddenly made her feel uncomfortable. The girl might be nice, but she didn't know her. Leah pulled her arm away, but kept on smiling so she didn't seem rude. "I'm sorry, but I don't really know you," she mumbled and looked at her feet out of old habit, suddenly a little insecure. What if Summer thought she was weird?

ImageSummer was a bit taken aback when Leah shrugged her away but she shrugged, deciding to let it go. "Hey it's cool, my brother like that, the only person who can get him out of his shell is Bianca" She laughed lightly " Oh it's funny because Dean is all quite and Bianca is this loud and proud black chick, I swear she looks just like Paula Patton" She let her head toss back and let out a laugh after that joke. Her family was a true modern family, complete with a gay brother, a teen mom sister, a housewife mother, a party girl sister, a black sheep, the list goes on. She swore they deserved a show.

Realizing she had lost her train of thought she flipped her hair over her shoulder and began leading the way to the cabin. On the way there she shared some things about herself: She was a Cancer, she had a big family of seven siblings, her brother was also her gay best friend, and one of her sisters was so tan people thought she was from some exotic place. finally they opened up their door. She quickly walked into the bathroom and took the sticky note of the mirror.

'And not that I don't think your cute" She said walking to the center of the room "I just love doing makeovers, dress is doing nothing to compliment that fabulous hair of yours or that ivory freckled skin of yours. She pulled pulled her top over her head and shimmied her shorts off of her wide hips before turning to the dresser she filled with her stiff. She pulled out two bikinis. One was a bright blue underwire bikini top with an aztec print string bikini bottom. The other was a string bikini top and bottom, both were crochet. "Hey which one?" She said holding them both up "I mean I love the crochet one, it's one of a kind, but the underwire lifts me up and you do not wanna know how hard it is to find a D cup bikini" She held them up against her body in the full body mirror against the wall. Seeing the obvious discomfort she gasped " I'm so sorry I live with four sisters, I'm just used to dropping my clothes like it's nothing. But I mean if it's a problem"

Seeing as how it was a beautiful day out, Stevie thought it would be a good idea to go outside and play her acoustic for a little while. She always seemed to enjoy playing her guitar outside, it was nice and calming to her. The young brunette stood up from the bed and walked outside, her red acoustic in hand then sat down on one of the empty benches.

After she made herself comfortable on the bench, she began strumming the guitar in an even pace and began singing along with the tune she was playing. The female glanced over at the notebook she had sitting beside her every now and then, trying to place different lyrics places and switch things around to make the song sound complete.

Leah Anderson

When they got to their cabin, it was like entering a whole new world. Summer had already unpacked all of her things and the place looked so girly... The color pink seemed to be repeating a lot. Leah walked over to the free bed and put her suitcase on it. While she started unpacking her things, Summer changed clothes. There was a small shelf over the bed where Leah placed some of her books and her painting supplies. Then she took out her clothes and hygiene products and put it in the closet next to the bed. Lastly, she took out a picture of her grandmother and put it on the shelve together with the rest. This was pretty much the only things she had brought with her this summer. Not that she didn't own anything, she just hadn't known what to pack. Her Bible was still in the suitcase, but she decided to let it stay in there for now. She couldn't remember last time she had dared to open it.

Leah pushed the suitcase under the bed and turned to face Summer. The girl wanted to know which bikini she should put on. "The blue one," Leah stated. It would complement Summers blonde hair. She walked over to the door opening and looked outside. She wanted to explore the campingsite. "Makeover sounds fun. But I want to go look around for a bit." She was just about to go outside, but then turned to Summer. "Later?" She smiled friendly, hoping Summer wouldn't mind. She rarerly felt so comfortable around a stranger. Then again, Summer talked so much she probably didn't even count as a stranger any more. She turned around again and walked outside. This place reminded her of grandma's home.

ImageSummer grinned at Leahs response. She shoved the crocheted bikini in the top drawer with her other five bikinis and intimates. She ran into the bathroom to hear Leah say that she was going to go look around. She sighed, uncomfortable with being alone again. She slipped on the tight bikini top, clasping it quickly then slipped on the bottoms, she put on short cotton shorts and a thin white cropped tank. She slipped on her sandals on the way out the door.
"Well what to do now" She said aloud to herself. She didn't have many options, she could go to the lake now and just sit there alone or she could wander or she could just sit there in desperation. She decided to walk around specifically around the cabins. She wondered if they may varied in some way, though she doubted it.

She walked past the many cabins. They all pretty much looked the same. In a strange and very vague way it reminded her of home. She lived in a gated community all the houses pretty much looked the same: Expansive green lawns, large houses either of brick, stone, or a requested material, beautiful gardens, and white picket fences. From the outside they all looked pristine as the people in it, well aside from her family. With her heavily tattooed father, blonde baking and homemaking mother, and various sisters and brothers (Most of whom have their own controversy).

She sat down on a bench in front of one of the cabins that was engulfed by a delightful sunlight. She sat on the bench table with the sun shining behind her and leaned back, bracing herself on her palms before tilting her head back. She had always loved soaking up the sun. Her dad used to call her Angel because of the way her hair shone in the sunlight and created a halo. Her mom however, preferred to call her Kitty because of her habit of falling asleep in the sunlight. She chuckled to herself, remembering old memories. Then realizing her mistake, sat up and crossed her arms "If they cared about me they would not have sent me here"

Aiden let go of the door frame and walked into the room and over to where his bed and where his stuff was and grabbed out a pair of sandals and set his shoes under the bed and grabbed a towel from his bag. As he turned to walk out of the room he stopped in the doorway. "Don't touch any of my shit and we won't have any problems." he said before he walked down the hall to the bathroom.

Once he was in the bathroom he turned the water on so it could warm up before he took his shower. After standing there under the shower head for a few minutes just relaxing he turned the water off and got out of the shower drying himself off, got dressed and did his hair before he walked out of the bathroom and as he passed the bedroom threw his dirty stuff into the corner next to his bed and without saying anything left the cabin to walk around. He saw a red haired girl with what looked like to be lots of freckles looking lost and by the looks of her screamed preachers daughter. "Did daddy make you bring your chastity belt?" He said with a laugh jokingly but from the looks of the girl she would probably not take it as a joke. As he looked around he saw a blonde haired girl sitting on a table leaning back on her hands looking up at the sky. Aiden grinned and made his way over to the table and sat on the table and leaned back just like the blonde was doing until their heads were almost touching.

Looking up at the sky with his sunglasses on he said, "It's not as bad as you expected it to be is it? Surprised the hell out of me."

ImageSummer lazily tilted her head slightly toward him. "Once you get over the fact that this is a punishment and I'm eighteen years old at a summer camp." She laughed "Yeah it's pretty beautiful She sat up, turning slightly to look at him. She had to admit he was hot. He had that tall blonde, tanned, and muscular thing going for him but she knew his type very well. She called them bumble jocks. Going from flower to flower as they pleased. Sure they were fun, but you couldn't really expect much from them but fun. Though she also knew that bumble jocks loved two things for sure: they're sports and a good challenge. Which is where girls like her came in. She licked her lips, a habit of hers when she was thinking something through before grinning. "Your the hot runner guy who was flirting with the cute hispanic girl right?" She slid off the table and stood in front of him. She didn't have to ask she knew she was pretty. She was tan all year long, she had a body girls would kill for (full breast, small waist, flat stomach, long legs, the works), she had perfect hair, and a cute face. Which gave her the opportunity to play hard to get. She smiled, and it was one of those lazy smiles that only certain girls could get away with before saying "Your cute, runner boy" winking and walking away.

Arella felt the small chill of the air around her once the wind picked up slightly so she decided it was time to get out the lake and change back into her dry clothes. After picking up her towel and wrapping it around her dripping body, she grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder and began making her way towards her cabin.

She was digging in her purse to find her cell phone to see how much charge she had left on it but as she was keeping her eyes glued to her purse, she happened to bump straight into a gorgeous blonde female and the attractive male she saw in the water with the flaming red head. Arella quickly glanced up towards the two of them and spoke, "I am so sorry about that! I should have been watching where I was going!"

Once the girl turned around and started undressing him with her eyes he could tell exactly what kind of girl she was from the look of her. He wondered if she thought she was sneaky by looking him up and down but what could he say he was a sexy stud. This blonde was nothing new to him she was the prep type and the preps thought they were the most entitled people on the world but they at least in his mind were very superficial. A grin came across his face when she spoke of seeing him talking to Raquel earlier which meant she was the jealous type but to cover it up played hard to get but that also came with the prep status and Aiden could play that game as well. Before he could say anything she said he was cute with a wink and walked away right into another girl, it was the girl he had waved at as he was heading back to his cabin after his run.

Aiden turned towards the two women and walked over to them and stood next to the two and put a hand on each of their shoulders. Now now ladies come on it's the first day of camp and your already fighting over me, there's no need for that ladies. Lets all just be friends and not fight over something so amazing, everyone knows sharing is caring and what can I say I'm a nice guy." He said with a laugh and flexed his arms a little to create a three person kind of hug. "Now before she goes telling you I'm cute runner boy the name's Aiden, it's nice to meet you I saw you earlier at the lake. This here is cute table girl." He said with a grin on his face at the fact that he got her back with a stupid chummy name.

The female chuckled at his words, "Fighting over you? Please. I won't deny that you're attractive and all but I don't know a single thing about you other than you being highly cocky," she stated in a calm voice. Of course she really wanted to get to know this guy a bit more, but she wasn't going to give it away very easily. But then again this girl Aiden seemed to call table girl was gorgeous too. Arella mentally shook her head and smiled softly, she needed to keep away from the females, it was already bad enough that most of her family doesn't accept that, she didn't need to start falling for a girl she already had a feeling wouldn't like it. "Oh, um, I'm Arella," she introduced.

ImageSummer chuckled "I'm with her, sorry Aiden right?" She rolled her big blue eyes "I fight over no man, especially when there so many others to choose from. She said lightly. Then she turned to the girl, who introduced herself as Arella, and smiled, not the lazy "I don't care smiles" that she was giving to Aiden but a true smile that made her squint a little and showed off the dimples in her left cheek. And contrary to what this conceited male has told you mu name is Summer, nice to meet you" She took the girl in ,ever observant as always. She could tell the girl was a prep like her and that put her at ease. She liked fellow preps, instead of most girls in her clique, who were frenemies, she truly was friends with all of them.

She tilted her head a bit before asking "Anybody know when this shindig is gonna start" She looked around for any sign of people in charge, but gave up on her search about two minuets in. She did however, note that neither of the girls moved from the embrace.

Arella Blake

Arella smiled and nodded her head at Summer, "It's nice to meet you as well Summer,"[/color] she stated as she began removing herself from Aiden's embrace. "I think we're supposed to gather by a campfire in a couple hours once it hits dark. I overheard something about that from one of the camp instructors a couple hours ago when we were getting off the bus," Arella explained as she continued looking in her hot pink purse for her phone once more. It felt as if she was on a scavenger hunt, "Ha! I found it!" she stated in an excited tone aloud. "I should probably clean out my purse more," she added as she noticed that her phone was dead as a door nail then dropped it back into her hot pink bag.

After getting a better look at the blonde female she noticed that she was a prep as well, mainly just from how she was dressed. It was nice finding another prep around. From what she could tell there weren't that many here at this camp.

Aiden laughed and took his arm off of Summer. "Well rn't you a feisty one Summer, well maybe if you didn't walk off without telling me your name or getting mine I wouldn't of had to call you table girl besides I owed you one for referring to me as runner boy." He said and playfully bumped nudged Summer. He stood there watching Arella fishing threw her purse to find her cell phone and then as quick as her excitement had came it went when she noticed her phone was dead. "Awwww don't look glum it's not like it would matter if it had any battery this place is a dead zone so to worry about your phone is silly. Plus you got new friends to hang out and dear god I saw it actually talk to in person,I have a feeling the point of this camp is to make friends so you have people to talk to about how lame and boring the stuff they are going to make us do and have to sit and listen to. Well I'm starting to get hungry you two want to try and find where to get some food at before we have to start our lovely summer of fun filled events." He said with a smile and a bit of sarcasm on the last part.
