Kanade Shiina's Story

Ten lost fragments have woken up in the imaginary world, one that gives them all they want and will ever need. Outside, they live a different body that sleeps soundly while the doctors do everything they can to find a way to wake them up and cure what they have lost. Some of them believe they're living in a wonderland, which is just what it is, but others only want to return back to the real world where something still seems to keep them wanting to wake up.

But they're all in the imaginary world, and all are actually quite close to each other. Some may know each other by name and face while others have no clue who these other people are, just assuming that they're apart of the coma. Regardless, now is the time. They will all meet each other, these ten people who have been bedridden since the beginning of their lives, and for a very specific purpose.

All ten of them have gotten some sort of message across to them, whether it's mail, patterns in the wind, passed by voice, and it contains information that put them into shock for a while.

'It's time to wake up.'

Whoever this person was that sent the letter obviously knew that they weren't truly apart of their imaginary world, and in their message, they mentioned that soon, everyone would wake up from their dream, and for a moment, they'd live their horrible lives again, and then die. They've stayed alive in the coma for more than they should have, and coming back to the world of reality so quick would kill them.

However, the message also mentioned a way to avoid this...

'If you reunite near the great bridge of the Nix Temple on the day of the blood moon, you will encounter nine others similar to yourself. If you are capable of surviving that night of misfortune at the temple, along with other trials I send your way, then perhaps you can live here forever in our wonderland.'

Who wants to die? No one. Not even the suicidal fragment will feel the need to take his life in a world of perfection. So, of course, all ten of the once-before patients took the mysterious blackmailer's word and went to the Nix Temple on the day of the blood moon, the moon of misfortune in their imaginary land.

Who knows what will happens this night. Who knows who the blackmailer is. Who knows if the blackmailer is among them. Perhaps this world was not as perfect as everyone thought it would be.
