Name: Lekrin Skydane
Age: Is roughly 8 years old
Gender: Male
Species/subSpecies: Winter Jackal
A winter Jackal is a creature of the night. With frozen white skin and burning, large brown eyes. This species is extinct, all except one. A winter Jackal has always been a rare find, normally only appearing during winter months frequently. A winter Jackal has the choice of shifting from a human, to a jackal, with a half-human- half-Jacal form as well. Winter Jackals are gifted with human speech and intellect, also having the ability of healing anything (living things such as animals and plants) from anything, other than death, with their blood, saliva and sweat. This was why they were hunted. One of their fresh carcusses could save a whole kingdom form stavation, ruin and droughts. They were originally used as sacrifices to God, but as more things were discovere, they were used for the people instead.
Apperance:
His skin is as white as the fresh winter snow and eyes the colour of an oak tree. His messy hair is hazel, tipped in places, a dark orange. He wears the old, and extremly large leather coat of his old master who died due to desease and starvation. He has black knee-length storts, revealing his heavily wounded knees.He has no shoes, and no proper shirt. On his torso, he has bandaging going around it from the time he escaped becming a sacrifice like his brethrin before. Behind that wrapping is a patch of miscoloured skin, that appears a dried out purple, and a selection of fine stitching. Being poor, he has no way to recieve his proper nutrients, as hunting is forbidden unless you have permission, he is skiny enough to see his ribs in perfect detail. He is aroung 4 foot, maybe a bit more to the five foot side, but small nontheless. He weighs around 45 pounds. While in his partial form, his pupils become slits and his eye colour fades to a watery blue. A pair of Jackal ears and a tail appear and his hair colour becomes white.
He's a rather curious boy, unable to stop himself from distracted with meaningless things. He's sweet and shy. He's also quite the crybaby with a foul mouth and sharp tounge.
Powers:
Being a winter Jackal, Lekrin can shapeshift into one of his three forms. Also, if Lekrin was to bite someone, they wuld immediatly get poisoned with a type of poison that cannot leave the body, but it doesn't kill the infecte, but rather leaves hem either in constant agony until they die, of cuts of all senses. Other than this, and his healing blood, he has no special powers.
Skills/strength:
As Likrin is a thief, he has a variety of pickpocketing techniques. He's a fast runner and a good climber. His footsteps have adapted to being very light. For some reason, Likrin has no 'presence' so he could follow anyone and not be noticed. He is very weak, due to his poor health, though he carries a short knife with him for protection. If he needs to, he will partally go into his Jackal form and use his claws and teeth instead. While in his partial and his jackall form he is 5-25% stronger than his complete human form.
Weakness:
He's scared of large bodies of water and human beings. This creates a giant loop in his conscious, as he is weaker from the reduced contact. He scared of hurting anyone and tries to help. His own blood burns him when it conects to oxegyon. He can't touch any pure metals such as lead.
BACKSTORY:::
At the age of three, his whole race became exctinct, all but him. He was adopted by a blacksmith who later became his master after finding out about who Lekrin really was. At the age of five, the blacksmith died and he was taken to become a sacrifice for the king's well being. He barely managed to escaped with the help of an elf who got herself killed, but stayed on the run for the next three years of life, knowing the true nature of the king. He became a thief, stealing valuable items such as purses and food, for a witch who gave him a place to stay in exchange, also healing the hole in his stomach. He became foul mouthed, cursing whoever he liked, and always had a comeback to the disrespecting merchants. His speech is always common, missing out letters and sometimes almost the whole of a word.
