he materializes stuff out of ice a lot, and sometimes he'll turn something into ice and break it. note that he absolutely loves making ice sculptures

he grew up in a family of artisans, poets, and sculptors - he's very in tune with the arts. he was also trained in archer at a young age, but his powers DO help him guide the arrows.

Personality

Perfectionist. That pretty much sums it up - he loves the natural beauty of the forests, mountains, oceans, and ice. He loves perfect artwork and perfect music. He is a perfect archer, since he spends his time either reading, sculpting, or practicing bowmanship. He makes perfect ice sculptures outside his (created by himself over years) ice palace Eisschloss. He also enjoys fencing and some horsemanship. (note the perfects: he is very arrogant. his works are very good, yes, but nothing is perfect)

Bio

he comes from a family of great artisans, who work for nobles and lords and kings. he grew tired of the continuous throng of his rowdy family, though, and moved to the frozen north to delve into magic, arts, and perfection. once there, he learned how to create things out of the ice, even how to create non-ice things (like metal and gemstones) out of ice. he did not die of cold, for he is immune to the lowest of temperatures, and he hunted great northern bears and seals with his ice bow. he met up with a band of nomads who had been using ice magic for centuries and stayed with them for a year, learning more of magical arts. while there, he deeply admired there ice structures which they built in seconds from the snowy wasteland - he inquired more and soon he, too, was building ice houses. he was not satisfied, though, and continued and to build larger, more intricate structures - houses, taverns, mansions, towers, walls, castles, palaces! the nomads set out to leave during the next summer, and Eiskrem had to say goodbye, for he did not want to abandon his works.

the summer months melted them, however, so he decided to return home and show off his sculpting capabilities. when he returned, however, his families house was in ruin - the beautiful lawns dead, the gargoyles on the roof falling apart, the windows cracked, the walkway loose! he went inside to find his father sitting next to his mother in bed. she looked very ill, as did the entire house - the room stank, the walls were discolored, their clothes were patched and stained. his father told him - his siblings had moved to far places to work in sweat shops and other dirty labor jobs, and that nobody was interested in art anymore. mother had come down with illness a few weeks prior, since they could no longer support themselves.

Eiskrem was baffled. he went outside later that day and into town. it was not much different from the house - gross and sickly, almost left in ruin. dirty hurried along the once splendorous streets. then all of a sudden, the mysterious tattoo on his shoulder he'd had since he was a baby (which his parents say they didn't give him, although he never believed them - they'll put art anywhere they can get away with it) got very cold and icy. so cold it hurt, which had never happened to him before. he ducked into and alley and peeled off his tunic - the tattoo was glowing ice blue! he had to figure out what was going on...
