Favorite Quote:
"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned." - Buddha

Personality:
Dai is a very quiet person in nature. He has never been good at talking and prefers to simply say nothing. He is a deep thinker and very much the introvert but wise and gentle non-the less. His quiet personality and tendency to push people away when they try to touch him can make him seem like a rude and stuck up person. But in reality Dai is just worried he will harm others and he is not accustom to others touching him. He is not easy to get along with as figuring out who he is can be a difficult process. But he is in no way rude always very respectful and willing to offer someone a cup of tea. But do not think he is in anyway weak. While he seems quite passive Dai has a temper that can only be flared by touching his sunflowers or anyone he has learned to care for. The payment for angering him? Well... Let's just say a 100 years of nightmares is not something to wish for...

Image

Skills:
Dai is a spirit of dreams and nightmares. While fighting for Izuzan he used this to terrify and trick the enemies into seeing things this meant they either attacked each other... He can see into a persons mind and find there most wonderful dreams and there most horrifying nightmares he can also change a persons dream while they are asleep cause them to see things and illusions or enter there dreams... He also tends to cause those around him strange dreams when he sleeps so he has become accustom to staying awake all night and sleeping during the day so as not to interfere with any other spirits dream scape.

Family:
Being a spirit Dai has no family really... If he had a past life then he supposes he had a mother and father and that he died doing something to warrant his passage into the life of a spirit... He is certain he has honored whatever family he might have had...

Sexual Orientation:
Unbiased

History:
Dai has no human passed that he is aware of... But he does have quite the story for a spirit. When he was a young spirit he traveled the land and planted sunflower seeds all over the country. These sunflowers grew and in turn spread there seeds. These seeds were said to contain the pure dreams of the people. Until one day someone cut down a sunflower, harming Dai and opening his eyes to the world of nightmares. In this manner some of the dreams became tainted and rotten. And the longer Dai stayed close to a human village the weirder dreams they would get and the scarier nightmares. In order to protect his people Dai left the human realm and traveled into the realm of spirits. From here he looked over his people, he granted dreams and visions of future events to those of strong heart and pure minds, and he sent nightmares to haunt those that planned to do harm or had done harm.

Being a spirit of dreams and nightmares Dai was known all over Japan and he was happy when people offered sunflowers at his shrine. When pleased Dai would sometimes forgive people whom he'd previously haunted with nightmares. So he became known as a spirit of wisdom and great respect. When war broke out people stopped bringing him sunflowers... But what bothered him most was the horrors of war. The blood and battles tainted the minds and hearts of many people causing them to greater nightmares then Dai would ever give them. He tried to counter the horrors these peoples these children saw with sweet dreams and rest but the horrors of war proved to much...

When the chance to fight arrived with the humans of Izuzan trying to summon spirits Dai gladly traveled back to the human world to help. His main concern were the children whose minds had been scarred by living nightmares. He helped many of them by indeed showing them sweeter dreams. As well to ensure he would not affect there dreams he did not sleep the entire war (probably why he sleeps so much now a days). Dai was proud to fight along side the other spirits and his weapon of choice was nightmares. He tormented those who fought and killed the innocent sending them nightmares that would drive them to madness causing them to attack there own or take there own lives. Dai would also cause them to see illusions so that when they fought they would become confused and could do no harm to others.

Daiki cannot recall how long he went without sleep how long he caused peoples minds to bend into the darkness hidden inside themselves... But when it was over he was not the same. He feared the touch of others for fear he would hurt anyone more and so he easily allowed himself to simply fade into legend. He still continues to watch over everyone and give dreams and nightmares to those deserving... But some nights when he himself is afraid he will admit to sending a nightmare into the mind of someone undeserving. And for this he loathes himself... But there is little he can do but stare at his sunflowers in the garden and try his best to bless everyone with a good nights sleep.

✍ KENT LACH

Kent nodded slowly, attempting yet again to wrap his mind around all the information he was being fed. The whole entire situation was completely crazy, if he told anyone else this was happening they would probably think he was just joking with them. It was unbelievable, to think that spirits could exist, that someone could stop him from aging. At the same time though, here he was, believing it. There was no way this man in front of him, could have carried him all the way to, well wherever they were, from where he had been. Not without some sort of help. Of course, he could have easily been lying and had someone else carry him. But really, it didn't seem like he was getting out of the place anytime soon- there was no telling how much time he was going to have to spend with Daiki until he deemed his debt was repaid. Fortunately it seemed that he wasn't going to have to do all too much, not that he would have complained a lot. Though he did happen to be quite lazy sometimes. The spirit even went as far to say that he would stick up for him, something he was certainly not expecting.

Almost hesitantly, he asked, "Would it be... acceptable if we ate here instead? At least for now... I'm still trying to get used to the idea of one spirit- five seems a bit unsettling." He really wasn't sure what to expect as an answer, but it didn't hurt to ask. "And perhaps later, if it isn't asking too much, you could show me to that room?" It seemed the spirit didn't sleep very often, or so he had assumed. Which meant that he would be awake, and sleeping in the garden while someone else was awake and could possibly be watching made him a bit, uh, nervous.

Daiki blinked. His human certainly asked allot of questions... "Of course..." Daiki closed his blue eyes allowing himself to rest for a moment sleep wanted to pull him down into it's murky depths he wanted to dream of beautiful things he would and could then share with everyone else why they slept so they would all be well rested... But he could not... It was still to early and there was so much to do... Opening his tired eyes Dai looked up at Kent blue eyes clashing with gold... But Dai never allowed emotion to leak into his eyes... Or not many emotions... He did not wish to scare the human... But it was bound to happen... Kent was bound to hate him or find him freakish... Even when there had been other humans before they had all feared him to an extent... Perhaps it was because of how he'd fought back in the times or war... Perhaps it was because he mentioned his ability over both the plains that are dreams and nightmares...

Blinking to cut the gave between the two Dai shakily pulled himself to stand. He hated how he appeared so fragile and yet still scared others... He would rather be thought off as delicate then a creature of nightmares... But he wold not allow his sleepiness and shaky-ness. "Hm... Please follow." Dai stepped down into the soft grass and began to make his rounds of the garden he gazed into the deep clear random pools around the sunny side of the garden admiring the strange ruins or columns or other objects that colorful fish swam around... He checked the hydrangeas in the shadowy part of the garden next ensuring they were healthy and finally he checked each sunflower... Yes there were many but each one he was just as careful with as the last... He would feel the petals and smell the sweet honey smell the golden flowers gave off. When he was finished with his care of his flowers he finally walks back into the shadows following the rock path over the delicate water he slipped into the trees moving deeper into his wild garden. Each new area was just as unique as the last and in each area he stopped to pick some fruit. An apple here... A plum... Some wild strawberries... When the spirit was pleased with his bounty he turned abruptly and handed the colorful mixture of fruit to Kent... He held it out like a peace offering all the while keeping his eyes locked onto the ground refusing to look up at the tall blonde and scare him with his piercing gaze.

Felipe blinked... Hiro had asked him to give Shiro a chance... That Shiro was shy and... Jealous? Hiro had to be joking? Right... Ok well... Maybe not... Once upon a time Feli had not been such a happy boy yet people had given him a chance he had to give off the same courtesy! Fine... He would give spirit a chance... Even if he was a little scary. Slowly reeling himself out of his thoughts Feli looked over at Amaterasu... Her whispers were hard to hear but the questions she asked were the ones Feli was going to ask anyway ok well... Feli had allot more questions but one thing at a time! "Umm..." Feli thought about how to word his questions he was careful with it after all what if he insulted someone! That would simply not do when he was trying to make friends. "Are we allowed to explore the shrine and gardens? A-and... Are we allowed to see the other humans... I mean!" Feli's face lit up. He'd just told himself not to word the questions wrong! And here he sounded like he'd not taken Amaterasu into account! And that he wanted to run away.

Now feeling embarrassed Feli closed his blue/green orb like eyes and spoke quickly. "I-I mean... I-I know Amaterasu i-is here b-but I kinda wanna meet and be friends with everyone! A-And the shrine seems so big so I wanna see everything so I don't get lost and cause troubles and end up being useless! Ahh! I'm talking so much I'm sorry!" Feli forced his mouth to close when he bowed and shoved his now tan and very red face into his hands. He refused to open his eyes! He would keep his eyes closed until the sky fell anything to not see Shiro's annoyed face looking down at him... The spirit wanted someone quiet and he got Feli... Feli wasn't quiet! Feli was curious and loud and happy... He'd messed up already he knew it. Slowly lifting his face back up but keeping his hand over his face he parted his fingers... And opened one of his warm shy eyes to the purple world of Hiro's garden... He wanted to see anything but annoyance on Shiro's face...

✍ KENT LACH

Kent had one of those lives that could be made into a movie. Never knew his father- he left before he was born. And his mother OD'd when he was sixteen. Ironically, he had had to go to court for that one. Apparently they thought his mother was giving him drugs too, or that he gave his mother the drugs, or something along the lines of it all. Anyways, the case was over and done with before a week had even passed- no one believed a sixteen year old could do something like that. And while Kent probably could have, he hadn't. His mother was never really good for anything, but he wouldn't kill her- he wasn't psychotic. Besides, since he had basically raised himself since birth, it made him tougher. And he supposed that he would probably be doing drugs too if it wasn't for her, so he had that to thank her for. Though he did smoke- usually a pack a day, religiously.

It didn't seem like he was going to be doing much smoking here though. On the inside he sighed, not exactly thrilled about being forced to break his habit, but at the same time he was sort on glad. In reality he knew it wasn't good for him to be smoking anyways, so he could consider this a good thing. Even if it meant he was going to be a bit grumpy, perhaps he would just explain it to Daiki. Or, he would if the spirit asked. If he didn't, he didn't want to bother him. He shouldn't have asked so many questions either, it was just difficult to not be extremely, terribly curious.

When he noticed the spirit rise, Kent immediately jumped to his feet and reached out to help steady the other man if he needed help. Though he was afraid to touch him- he still wasn't sure how this spirit thing worked. Was he actually like... there? Or would his hand go straight through him? That didn't seem like something you could just ask, really. The other instructed him to follow and he nodded, not quite sure why he did but... he listened and went obediently with Daiki. For a while the spirit took care of the flowers, which wasn't all that fun for Kent but he stayed quiet. It seemed almost as if these flowers were the only thing Daiki had had, so he couldn't bring himself to make any comments- even if he was bored out of his mind.

Eventually they left that part of the garden though and went towards what appeared to just be another section of the garden. He wondered how long the land went on for, and how much of it Daiki actually used and what was just, well, basically free. They seemed to be moving deeper into the garden, and the spirit had started collecting fruit. He thought about offering his help, like saying he would carry the basket or something, when suddenly he was stopped and the basket was handed to him. At first he went a bit wide eyed, staring at the blue haired man who seemed to be very focused on the ground. Hesitantly, he took the basket in one hand and reached out with the other, lightly touching the other- admittedly surprised when his hand didn't go through him. "Thanks."

Ninna Olla
Ninna's eye brow furrowed. Not so much at the strange request, more at the end. Almost... Vulnerable. 'She needs me to be careful...' Ninna realized. She bowed and accepted the map and pen. "I shall perform this task to the best of my abilities." She then turned and started walking down the path, focusing on the map and various lies that could negate suspicions. As Ninna approached Daiki's room, she looked at the map again and stopped. 'Did I miss a turn?' Ninna looked around more closely. 'Crap!' She thought desperately before taking a deep breath and looking at the map again. She traced her path and, to her massive relieve, she did go the right path. 'Never was good at maze games...' Ninna turned the corner, where the door to Daiki's room was. She walked up and knocked on the door frame. She then quickly put the map and pen in the inside pocked of her shirt. 'That might have been bad...' Ninna thought, hearing footsteps.

Daiki was secretly pleased with how well things had been going with his human. The blonde showed no signs of fear and although he did smell like smoke (much to Dai's disapproval) he hoped they would get along fine. "Please eat... They are healthy and shall keep you strong... I cannot have you getting sick." Dai frowned and looked about his garden wondering if they should go deeper or return to the central part of the garden...

But before Dai could decide he suddenly went wide eyed. "Strange... Someone is calling me but they know quite well I am never in my room during the day..." Sighing Dai grabbed Kent's shirt (not his arm he was too shy for actually physical contact) and pulled the blonde along quickly. Dai returned to the central part of the garden and turned to one of the large trees shading one half of his garden. It was difficult to notice but within the wood there was the distinct shape of a door. Dai turned to Kent as he pushed open the door revealing a very plain ordinary bedroom. It seems that the tree door was where a closet should be. "There are many shortcuts and secret areas... I shall show you more latter but keep them secret... Ok?" Dai smiled a gentle awkward smile as he made a 'shhh' motion with his finger pressed to his pink lips. Keeping the door open Dai stepped into his room and pulled open the front door. "Ninna... Has Yajirushi requested my presence... Because if not I believe you two should be getting know one another." Dai's tone was cold not annoyed or happy just cold and emotionless. It took him awhile to warm up to anyone... He'd only begun getting use to the blonde's presence so he already felt overwhelmed just trying to make conversation with the purple headed individual.

Felipe could not express the sheer relief that melted over his body when he saw Shiro looking relaxed and amused. Slowly Feli pulled his hands away from his pink cheeks and smiled. "Hmm... I cook and clean all the time so Il do my very best~" Feli smiled his heart felt... Slightly (more then slightly) shattered at the realization he'd not see his family again... But... What did his mama always say? 'Keep moving forward and always be brave and happy as you can!' Yeah! No way he would disappoint his mama. Smiling Feli rested his chin on his knees which he'd brought up close to his chest. "Hey... Shiro your the spirit of the ocean and the moon right?" Feli's eyes went wide his curiosity causing him to look like a kitten who'd just spotted a yarn ball for the first time. "So... Does that mean your garden is full of water and always nighttime???" Feli squirmed. "I really wanna see it~ I bet it's so pretty~ Il be able to paint lots of things while I'm here... I already wanna paint Amaterasu..." Feli turned to the girl a sweet innocent smile on his face. "You have the perfect eyes to be captured so lively~" Feli giggled. "I also wanna paint Hiro... Your eyes are also really pretty~ Shiro's are too... But I wanna paint him under a bright full moon... I feel like that would be the only time I could capture his essence... Or maybe right now." Feli's fear was slowly falling off and the more he talked about his secret passion for painting the more his features lit up. His smile became happier and his strange expressive blue/green eyes had there spark back. 'I won't disappoint you mama I will definitely find a way to be happy here.'

Ninna Olla
"No, it's just that I am looking for a shrine to pray in, do you have one with a prayer bell? I had one back home, and I would to keep my prayers as familiar to me as possible." Ninna said, bowing respectfully. "I mentioned prayer to Yajirushi, and then described the one I had back home. She got the thought in her head that I wanted to pray, so directed me here." Ninna put her hands behind her. "And I do kinda want to pray, so here I am." Ninna took a breath, just slightly deeper than normal. 'Please fall for it, please fall for it, please fall for it.' He ego stepped up. 'Shut up! Your gonna lose your focus!' Ninna got a hold of herself and turned her full focus to Daiki in time to hear his response.
