'She's kissing me back' Xander thought to himself. He would have never had done this if he was thinking straight. Only one good thing came from buying that cursed drug, and that was finally having the courage to accept his true feelings for Izzie. He stopped thinking and just let himself become immersed into the kiss. He soon was out of breath and pulled away. He was breathing heavily and was looking at Izzie with a mix of affection and lust. Xander wanted her but, didn't want to push things too far. He wanted to have a lasting thing with her, not some one night stand that meant nothing to either of them.

He pushed the hair out of Izzies' face and caressed her face. "Izzie, I'm not sorry. I needed to tell you show you how I felt about you. I don't care if you go back into your shell but, please for my sake don't keep me out. I understand you better than anyone else in this cursed tour." Xander kissed her forehead and put his head on her shoulder, "I was jealous when Johnny gave you that kiss on the cheek." Xander grabbed her hand and entwined it with his. He wanted to stay like this, Xander could live with out the heroin.

Johnny started laughing. " You are so funiy" he fell asleep on the couch snoring.

The dream ZzzzzzzzzzzzZ... ~

Johnny woke up on pedals of roses. He saw a pink pony jump in front of him and say "What up man " in a Jamaican voice. "WTF ?
Johnny started seeing a white room. Inside was izzie she was sitting on the floor. He left the room. This time he woke up in a red room, Xander was inside smoking weed while sitting in a old chair. He left that room only this time mirrors surrounded him. But one looked at him he broke the mirror as the dream faded. This time he was peeing on a tree. He woke up sweating on his face. He went to junipers fridge and got a blue powerade. "Ahhhhh " he finished his last gulp ; got his black biker jacket and left. While he was driving he was thinking what had happened. While he took a turn a yellow Chrysler drove into his car hitting him in the head on the steer.
All he could hear was emergency signals and it all faded. He opened up the door. As he opened the door his favorite Song came on. It waswas mastodons black tongue.johnny Noticed his Old mask from his past band Wentrow. He puts on the mask and awakens in the hospital with the mask at his side in the emergency room.

Sounds spooky right.

The strange state of blankness, that sheet of strange clarity and calmness that had fallen over her mind when the kiss had begun, it refused to lift even when Izzie began to respond actively. Somehow, she could even acknowledge that fact. She would have thought that she would've started freaking out, panicking, thinking of all the ruin that was going to come of this. And yet it seemed her mind was willing to grant her this moment at the very least.

At length Xander pulled away from her, breaking the kiss--she had no idea how long it'd lasted before they separated, both breathing deeply as they looked at one another. Confusion was evident in Izzie's eyes, even if she didn't realise it: the familiar beasts that inhabited her mind were beginning to stir as she looked back into Xander's eyes, which shone with what looked to her...like genuine affection. And he was looking back into her eyes, sharing the same gaze that imparted the vision of his form to her. Yes, it did look like genuine, real passion in his eyes--a warmth, a sentiment she had not seen in the eyes of another in what could have been a lifetime.

He reached out, brushing aside one of the loose dreadlocks of faded black, and she felt the hand travelling over the rough, dark skin of her face. "Izzie, I'm not sorry," he said, speaking slowly, tentatively. Maybe, just like her, he didn't want to go rushing into this. "I needed to tell you, show you how I felt about you. I don't care if you go back into your shell but please, for my sake, don't keep me out. I understand you better than anyone else in this cursed tour." That was true. She knew that. Somehow Xander understood her. She'd never have suspected it before, and he'd never given so much as an inkling of it before, but in five short, sudden, surreal minutes, it was as though someone else was telling her all the things she had avoided thinking about for years. And it was frightening in a way, just like it was relieving in another, to think that there really was a person who could translate the things even Izzie couldn't understand about herself into a common speech.

And that was worth the risk.

....isn't it?

Izzie felt herself visibly shudder. No. No no no no no. What am I doing? Her heart began to pound in her chest, her breathing shallowed, and her mind began moving faster than she could hope to keep track of. I can't do this. I've done this before. And it's always ended the same way. And I'm sitting here, right now, about the make the mistake again. Don't I ever fucking learn? How many times do I have to damage my own heart with false hope before I realise it's never gonna happen?

But what if it did happen? What if this time, just maybe, it was different? What if Xander wasn't like the rest--the way he knew she had to take this slow, the way he knew how afraid she was of this? Maybe he'd understand that this wasn't a decision she could make on the spot, impulsively, instinctively, like she did with every other choice she'd ever been faced with. Goddammit, I...I don't know, she thought fervently, biting her lip so hard that it was a moment before she realised she was tasting blood. But it didn't matter. Inconsequential, paltry, to the dilemma that faced her. In the end, it simply boiled down to a question of whether it was worth taking once again the risk Izzie had sworn she'd never take the last time she'd realised that love and happiness were not things meant for her.

"Look..." she spoke slowly, uncertainly. Hesitation and anxiety crept into her low rasp of a voice, but she forced herself to remain calm and level. For now, at the very least. "I...I have to think about this. Okay? You understand that, right?" She clambered up to her feet, still forcing down frustration and fear that threatened to burst from her as she reached out and grabbed her guitar, slinging the strap over her shoulder again, before she glanced back down at Xander. "We'll talk again. Tomorrow." And with that, she began to walk out of the alleyway, and back into the evening air.

"Okay, seriously, this is getting old, fast."

Lenchi sighed as he ceased drumming on his denim-clad legs, having not moved an inch from his seat on the concrete curb for the past...well, hell if he knew how long it'd been. And still no sign of the others. Well, what a trip. Izzie was probably beating the ever loving shit out of Johnny somewhere out there for that kiss--he really couldn't imagine her responding to it any other way. And as for Juniper...well, he expected she was probably at the party. With lots of alcohol, lots of drugs, and lots of guys who are probably way more good-looking than I am. And after all, Juniper was one hell of a beautiful woman who could probably have her pick of any one of the aforementioned good-looking dudes--he didn't doubt they'd all be lusting after her.

The thought made him furrow his brow, and curse all the more his inability to recollect whatsoever the location of the party. She'd probably found some charming, attractive guy, was probably being chatted up by him somewhere out there while Lenchi sat here on his own brooding over the possibility. And hell, why would she have been wrong for it? There was no reason for her to think of Lenchi as anything more than the drummer. And not a very good one at that. Between a forgetful, laidback, absent-minded, untalented drummer and...well, anyone else, even Lenchi was pretty sure the choice would've been obvious.

The sound of approaching boots caused Lenchi to glance upwards, where he saw the familiar figure of Izzie approaching, guitar slung over shoulder, wearing an expression of...Lenchi couldn't recognise it. She looked sad, angry, confused, happy, and afraid, all at the same time. How is that even possible? he mused, completely flummoxed, before Izzie realised it was the erstwhile drummer seated at the curb.

"Well, there you are," she deadpanned--her voice tired, her words quiet. "Forgot where the party was, I assume."

"Party?" he inquired facetiously, poking fun at his own reputation for forgetfulness and negligence. But the guitarist merely stood there on the sidewalk to the side of the sitting drummer, looking out at the road with an inscrutable expression. "You alright?" he ventured to ask at last.

"No," Izzie replied tersely; her eyes remained on the road, she did not turn to look at him. "Not at all."

Xander could only nod his head. It was to be expected, he thought if he threw out his feelings for Izzie, they would be together and happy. "That only happens with fairy tales and in romance novels, you stupid son of a bitch. What the hell were you thinking? That you and Izzie were gonna be a couple like that." Xander cursed himself out loud. He needed a drink, the heroin was still in effect so getting up was not an option. He just sighed and grabbed his guitar and started playing one of his favorite Seether songs, "Broken." He knew the words to it, but was a horrid singer unless he was singing a Nirvana song, though he sang anyway. It was weird hearing an acoustic song on his electric guitar. Though it was fine, he was used to it. When the song was finished, he thought he was sober enough to get up and walk. He took it slow and was soon on his feet. The alley was still spinning. He took a few tenative steps and found that he could walk. Xander soon made his way to a nearby bar and ordered himself a screwdriver with a lot of vodka in it. "Tomarrow feels like it will never come." Xander said taking a sip of his drink.

He was on his fourth drink when a pretty girl walked up to him, "Are you the guitarist from Chicago Loops?"

"Yeah, what of it?" His speech was becoming slurred and his vision hazy.

"Well, I love you and your no nonsense attitude. I saw the video of you punching a reporter in the face." She said getting uncomfortably close.

"You saw that? Damn Youtube. Look girlie, if your looking for a tumble in the sack, I'm not up for it. I just want to sit here and forget about today." Xander said with no room for miscommunication. The girl just huffed and walked away, "You'll thank me someday." he muttered under his breath.

Ava hated drinking alone. Yet that was exactly what she was doing in the club, perched on a bar stool, she quickly drank the whiskey in her glass, she had long ago asked the barman to leave her the bottle, saves having to wait between drinks, was her logic. Ava knew she was going to pay for this tomorrow with one hell of a hangover but she didn't care, right know she couldn't give a fuck. Truth was she felt alone, her band mates were MIA, leaving herself in a room full of seriously high people, whilst she quietly drank herself into oblivion in the corner.

"Hey baby" a guy stumbled over to her a drunken smile plastering his face.

Ava rolled her eyes, sure she was slaughtered herself but she still had some standards "What?" she asked bitterly pouring herself another drink.

The guy inched closer placing a hand on her back, causing her to clench her jaw, oh this guy was going to get it, she thought to herself "How about me and you head on up to my room" he slurred.

A look of disgust momentarily crossed Ava's face before she let out a sharp laugh "oh darlin' not even if you were the last man on earth" she stated with a smile "and if you were, I'd happily live the rest of my life celibate." The man walked off grumbling to himself, she could make out bitch and whore but she didn't care, she was too drunk. Finding herself at the bottom of the bottle and still standing, she decided to get another bottle, looking down the bar she could see no sign of the bar man, so she leaned over and grabbed herself the first bottle she came across, Tequila, oh this was going to be fun.

"Ava, that you?" Mikey asks, as he approaches his Drummer. "Damn girl, your wasted. You need some help there?" He asks, wasted himself as he takes the bottle from her, and pours each of them a shot. "Cheers to a great concert and an even better night." He says, raising his glass in a toast, before knocking it back in one fell swoop.

"God damn that's hot!" Mikey coughs, the Tequila burning the back of his throat. "Now I remember why I don't drink this shit..."

"Ava, that you?" Mikey's voice catches her attention as he approaches her "Hey" she smiled as he took a seat next to her, her eyes were quickly becoming heavy "I-I really don't think I'm drunk enough!" she slurred downing the shot that Mikey poured for her.

Laughing as Mikey winced at the Tequila she shook her head and poured them another "Trick is, don't let it touch the back of your throat" she winked at him then demonstrated by downing the liquid before slamming her shot glass back down "and that's how its done" she laughed.

"Well I don't drink Tequila straight up, there's the difference." he says, rubbing his eyes. "Hey, Let's head back to the hotel. I both think we've had enough to drink for a whole week." He hiccups, thinking about other things besides booze and a ride home...

"But we've only just started the bottle" Ava mockingly pouted, grabbing it to pour herself another, completely missing the glass and pouring the content all over the bar "woops" she laughed feeling her head spin, letting out a sigh she put the bottle home "Okay, take me home Mikey" she said pushing herself off the bar stool only to stumble on her 5inch heels.

Xander was deep in thought taking slow deliberate sips of his screwdriver. He had already downed more than enough to get him fucked up. He wasn't feeling the heroin anymore, though he was drunk off his ass. He slapped the bartender more than enough to pay for his drinks and started to walk out of the bar. He sighed and light a smoke when he walked out. He stumbled down the sidewalk and soon made it to the hotel. He looked down the alleyway again and saw his guitar still sitting there, "Thank God, I thought you were gone." He said picking up his guitar and headed for the doorway. He sat down on the stoop of the hotel and finished his smoke thinking about what had transpaced since the concert. The heroin(Never gonna do that again,) Cracking Izzies' shell(Harder than it looks,) and the kiss with her(Man what was I thinking.) He didn't regret the kiss, but he didn't want to scare her off. "No, that would be bad. She might hate me if I wanted to move too soon. Then I couldn't finish the tour." He mused to himself.

"Kay Ava, let's go home." He says, grabbing a hold of her to keep her from falling. "Uhh..." He says, as he realizes when he put his hand in front of her, he unintentionally got his hand right on her left breast. "That wasn't intentional, I think..." He apologizes, as he escorts her out like a proper gentleman. Getting her and himself into a cab, they make their way back to the hotel they are staying at while in the city.

Making their way up to the two rooms the band shares, one girls and one boys, she looks at him with an amused smile as he fumbles the key card. After finding it and getting it into the door, he opens up the hotel room and the two make their way inside. "Well, that was fun..." He says, rubbing his head. He than walks over to her, kissing her. "But that was a lot funner."

Ava smirked as he fumbled with the key, leaning against the hotel wall she looked down the coridoor, seeing other couples she recognized from the party either making out, outside rooms or like Mikey, drunkenness causing them to fumble opening doors.

Walking inside Ava flicks on the light and see's two king sized beds, turning around she smirks at Mikey's comment "Well, that was fun..." she has to admit when he kissed her she was slight surprised "But that was a lot funner." Xander got up and stumbled towards their room. The hotel wasn't a five star one, but it sure as hell wasn't a motel either. When he got to the room door he started fumbling for his key. After about five minutes he finally got a hold of the little card thing. For the next ten minutes he tried to get the door open. When he did he was greeted with Ava and Mikey laying in each others arms with a faint glow around them. "Oh what the hell. Did you really need to have a romp in the sack in the same room as the one I have to sleep in? I mean that's a big no-no in my book. I'm gonna have a long talk with you later Mikey. Though for right now, I've got a date with the white throne about some rapid evacuation." Xander stumbled towards the bathroom and then proceeded to vomit his last few drinks up. While between surges he was taking sips from his hip flask. He knew that he was gonna have a hangover, but Xander really didn't really care at this point.

Izzie hated this hotel.

And that fact struck her as she shoved the door into her hotel bedroom open and strode in. And noted with distaste how easily the door swung right open with no resistance whatsoever. She flicked a light switch on, and without a single delay, the lights...turned on. She sat down on the bed located not far from the door, and sighed. And the soft, comfortable mattress cushioned her form rather nicely.

This was definitely not her apartment. Which was rather why she hated this hotel.

She was used to having to shove her front door hard to get it the damn thing to finally grind open--the door itself was just a little too big for the frame it occupied, so it received significant resistance from the floor, leaving behind drag marks from all the times Izzie had to all but force the door off its hinges to open it. And when they did work, the lights took at least a couple of seconds after she flipped the switch before they finally cast their dim shine on her humble little abode. And as for her bed...

She shuddered.

Best not to think of that.

Still, it was a damn sight better than her little apartment, with peeling paint that was just chipping right off the thin, cheap walls, with CDs, books, records, bottles, empty packs of cigarettes, spent syringes, all kinds of paraphernalia adorning the floor--or wherever else, when there wasn't any room left on the floor to just toss shit aside to. Home was where she often didn't have enough money for anything better to eat than microwaveable crap, where electrical power and running water were uncertain, temporary privileges, and night after sleepless night was spent in bed blasting music into her ears, waiting for the sunrise and hoping she didn't succumb to the inevitable fatigue of her body, mind, and spirit--hoping she didn't sink into that state of uncertain, tormented sleep she had learnt to dread since time immemorial.

Didn't matter so much. She was long since used to it. She'd been living that way for as long as she could remember. But here...this, everything about this was just too luxurious, too comfortable, too serene and at ease, such that it felt alien and unfamiliar to the guitarist. She wasn't used to opening the refrigerator and finding not rows upon rows of beer cans lazily shoved into the frozen expanse, but decent 'hotel food' that she hadn't even paid for (not that she probably ever could've in the first place). She wasn't used to being able to walk right across the room without having to step over something--usually a pile of very many somethings. And she sure as hell wasn't used to the overwhelming fact that somehow, here at least, the showers had warm water. Not freezing cold water, not boiling hot water, but...tolerable temperatures of water. How the hell did that even happen?

"Yeah, cross my heart and hope to die, it'll only end in tears, eye for an eye, for an eye--if beauty's only skin deep then thankfully I'm blind, cross my heart and hope to die..."

Izzie murmured along softly, almost wistfully, as Jeff Walker spewed, in his septic vocal style, the lyrics to Carcass' Cross My Heart. Swansong had never been her favourite Carcass album--she was no great fan of death'n'roll--but at this point she hardly gave a damn what she was listening to. Inconsequential, just like the fact that she was...a bit drunk.

"Come, let's cross the line...there's a fine line between love and hate...let's tear it apart..."

The Legion guitarist had spent the past two hours getting drunk and trying to stop herself thinking about Xander Coleman. And everything he'd said and done leading up to Izzie's decision that the best way to quell the confusion and anarchy of mind that his words had incited was alcohol--what with no harder drugs being on hand and in a 'foreign land', so to speak, as she was, knowing no way of acquiring them here. She cursed mentally. Complications. That earlier kiss Johnny had given her--Johnny, whom she'd not seen since he'd done it. And this whole thing with Xander. Izzie made a policy of going through life never facing herself and yet today everything seemed determined to make her do exactly that.

"Time ain't no great healer, senses numb; come cross my heart, void and null...love is a weakness, lust conquers all. Cross my heart and hope to die, where do we draw the line?"

Maybe she'd made up her mind. About Xander. Maybe she was simply dragging it out because she was afraid what her decision might incur. Perhaps she would regret it. Perhaps she'd look back on this tour and realise maybe it'd been the chance at a moment of happiness that she'd been wishing for ceaselessly for years--denied, by herself, by her own fears of the very thing she desired so much. Is that how it's going to be? she thought, eyes narrowing in the dim light overhead on nothing in particular. Is my mind made? Am I really decided? She walked to the bed, sighed, and then slowly sank to sit on the edge of the mattress, feeling her body sink down into the luxurious fabric.

"There's a fine line between love and hate. Let's tear it apart."

Seemed it was going to be another sleepless night.

For his part, Lenchi went to his hotel room and, direly exhausted, fell into a deep sleep that would've been the envy of a hibernating bear.

Juniper heard someone come into the hotel room she was still taken aback by Johnny's drunken display that evening. She wondered if she would be able to look at him the same again. She laid there in her over sized Guns 'n' Roses t-shirt that she always slept in she gave up and decided that she would let Izzie know that Johnny was passed out on the couch in their room. She got up but Izzie was already in her room then she made her way over to couch, Johnny was tossing and turning and mumbling in his sleep. She had already had to drive him back to the Hotel and the whole time he sat in the passenger seat acting like he was driving the whole time and at one time he made a screech like tires on pavement and screamed "SHIT WE"RE GONNA CRASH!!!". It was at that point Juniper realized that Johnny was not only drunk but he was high on God knows what else.

As she helped him into the room she decided it was best if he slept on the couch in her hotel room out of fear that he might die in the night if she didn't keep an eye on him. As he staggered in the door he proceeded to try to take his pants off and cop a feel on Juniper. She immediately gave him a blanket and pillow and shoved on the couch making a comment about how she didn't like him like that. It wasn't long till he passed out, and started mumbling in his sleep, Juniper sat there for a while trying to decide what to do and then decided that Johnny was so out of it he didn't mean any harm. Juniper retired to her bed to try to get some sleep, but it never came, so she made her way to Izzies room within the hotel room. "Hey Izzie it's me you awake" Juniper said through the door, she had never gone to Izzie for anything but right now Juniper needed someone to talk to and she didn't care who.

It was a good few hours into the night--exactly what time, Izzie had no idea, but certainly past midnight. And she lay in the comfortable, soft embrace of the velutinous mattress, entwined in the folds of the velvet, silken covers; her body was absent of all the leather, the metal, the bullets and spikes, clothed only in a nondescript sleeveless white shirt, a pair of boxer briefs, and the tattoos etched permanently into her skin. The cords of her headphones snaked up her body and terminated in the small pods buried in each ear, blasting Death's Evil Dead. The past couple of hours had been spent running down Death's discography, from the final masterpiece of The Sound of Perseverance to the primal genesis of death metal that was Scream Bloody Gore. Fatigue dragged at her body, eyes weakening and pleading to be allowed one moment to shut--but she knew if she did, her vigilant, only too wakeful mind might just go with it. She resisted the allure of sleep, knowing the visions of blissful rest and relaxation were a thin glass sheath placed over the reality of sleep's nature and the terrifying delusions it brought about with it.

The final power chord of Evil Dead put a violent end to the song, and a couple of seconds of silence passed as the music player prepared to proceed onwards to the title track of the album. But in those few seconds of silence, she heard a voice emanating through the thin wood of the door into her hotel room. Removing the headphones from her ears before Scream Bloody Gore could launch into its familiar aural assault, Izzie sat up and recognised the voice to be that of Juniper. "Hey Izzie, it's me. You awake?"

"Yeah." Izzie's voice came out as a hoarse whisper--clearing her throat, she spoke again, more loudly. "Yeah. Hang on." The guitarist pulled herself out of the bed, setting aside the music player she'd had clenched in her hand, and quickly made her way over to where she'd carelessly tossed aside her jeans, sliding the heavy denim on. As she turned to go back towards the door, she caught sight of herself in the small mirror hung up against the wall--and realised she looked like total shit. More so than usual. Frayed dreadlocks fell around her head at unusual angles, the lines of her face were creased and weary, and dark rings adorned her heavy eyes, giving them an almost sunken impression. With a hollow sigh, she turned away and strode over towards the door, swinging it open to find Juniper standing there looking as though she'd gotten not a wink of sleep this night either. "Yeah?" Izzie asked.

Izzie probably looked as bad as Juniper did or worse, "Sorry if I woke you up but... I needed to talk to someone", she said Juniper stood there for a moment and described the nights events to Izzie. "I think he was drunk and high on something, but thats why he's on our couch" she said Juniper felt somewhat better. "How did the party go I was a little bummed out that I didn't get to go", asked Juniper.

"Sorry if I woke you up, but..." Juniper trailed off for a moment, standing there in the threshold of the door, as though uncertain how to proceed. Finally she simply said, "I needed to talk to someone."

"s'no problem, I wasn't sleeping anyway." Izzie nodded for her to come on into the room, feeling a bit strange with her simply standing in the open doorway. She flicked on one of the light switches as they walked back in, and the previously dark, sullen room was flooded with light from the overhead lamps. She turned back to Juniper. "What's up?" Her brow furrowed a bit. Isn't it a bit strange she'd come to talk to me of all people? she silently wondered. I mean, at the very least, Johnny's the sane one of the group, anyone'd probably be better off talking to him than me....and Lenchi's probably in a coma-state of sleep right now anyway.

When Juniper spoke, however, it became evident why she hadn't gone to Johnny. Because he'd apparently made a pass at her--three times total over the night. You could attribute it to his drunken state, but Izzie found that as opposed to doing things they'd never do while sober, people's actual feelings and intentions emerged whenever the alcohol loosened inhibitions and tore down mental and emotional barriers. "Huh...so I guess that kiss back on the stage really didn't mean shit..." Izzie murmured--she wasn't sure whether to be hurt, or angry, or relieved. Hurt, maybe, because he'd given off the completely wrong impression with that damn kiss, and made her think for a moment he felt a certain way about her. Angry, because she'd subsequently spent the day worrying and brooding over where he really felt a certain way about her. And relieved, almost definitely, because he didn't feel a certain way about her. That put an end to that complication.

It seemed Juniper didn't want to talk about it further, however. When she was done, her features were considerably lighter, not so weary, and she immediately moved to a different subject. "How did the party go? I was a little bummed out that I didn't get to go."

It was Izzie's turn to frown now. "I...didn't really go to the party," she spoke measuredly. And said nothing more. Nothing more needed to be said than that.

Juniper nodded understanding that Izzie didn't want to say anymore. Juniper had been raised in an open environment where she could talk to her mother or father about anything. Which made it easy for her to talk about what was bothering her to anybody, "He's totally out of it on our couch just to let you know. I just don't understand him and why he did it other than he was so high he didn't know what he was doing" she sighed wanting to totally forget the whole night. "Hey do you know how Ian is, I was a little worried about him cause... well I was kind of dragged off by Johnny" she said. It was hard to admit it but Juniper had feeling for Ian. It was evident to her the whole time she was with Johnny, the only thing she could think of was Ian.

"He's totally out of it on our couch, just to let you know," Juniper remarked with a nod. "I just don't understand him and why he did it other than he was so high he didn't know what he was doing."

"Maybe he's into you," Izzie responded without properly thinking. How would she have felt if Johnny actually was into Juniper? Surely that wouldn't have been a bad thing...well, maybe she would have cared before today. It might have mattered to her--not jealousy fuelled by her own feelings towards Johnny because Izzie was well aware she had none in that sense, but just overall jealousy. The same feeling she got every time someone else had managed to find happiness in the arms of another and it seemed to only further make the point that that was never going to happen to Izzie.

But that feeling did not apply here. For one, because Izzie rather doubted Johnny was into Juniper when he'd never shown the slightest indication of any such feelings (then again, that brought to mind his completely unexpected kiss back on the stage...but it had already been established that that'd meant nothing, there was no need to dwell on it further). And for another...

"Nah, he was probably just drunk off his ass and started gettin' ideas."

Juniper sighed, and then, as if struck by a thought, asked, "Hey, do you know how Ian is? I was a little worried about him 'cause, well...I was kinda dragged off by Johnny."

Izzie shrugged. "You know how he is. Found him sittin' on a street corner with no idea where in the fuck he was supposed to be. Pretty sure right now he's sleepin' the sleep of the dead in his hotel room and wouldn't be woken if you fired a cannon into his room."
