The next morning, she woke up later than usual with red, puffy eyes. She looked in the mirror and groaned. She hoped a long, hot shower would help with her eyes. She got some clothes together, just shorts and a t-shirt, and walked into the bathroom. She took a shower and brushed her teeth. She didn't bother to put on make up or style her hair; she just didn't care. After drying her hair, she put it up in a ponytail and went back to her bedroom. Madison looked around and sighed, then started packing everything so it would already be done before she had to leave him.

The next morning he woke up, took a shower and got dressed. He knew that today was the day that Madison was leaving and didn't want to face anyone or anything. He laid in bed for a little bit longer and thought about things, thought about them, thought about how they would work things out.
Before he went and talked with Madison he went downstairs and talked to his dad. His dad hadn't talked to him in 2 days, since he found out the stunt the two pulled but after some pleading he agreed. Justin talked to him about Madison, about how stupid of an idea it was to have her visit, and about her having to go back.
Justin pleaded with his father, "Dad.. I have the money saved, if you talk to her parents... can she visit again in a couple weeks?" was how the conversation finally moved along. He blurted the request out and his dad was open to the idea. "As long as her parents are okay with it, and your mom lets you off restriction, I don't see a problem. I will call her dad later."
Justin felt 100 times better, he ran up the stairs and knocked softly on Madison's door, then slowly pushed it open. He smiled weakly at her as he walked in and sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm really sorry about last night. I shouldn't have made you sleep alone knowing that you have to leave today, but... I have good news." He said, "My dad is going to talk to your parents, and if they agree my parents said you can come visit again in a few weeks, once finals are over." He said trying to make things better.

She shook her head. "Yea, I was mad at my parents, but if that was solely the problem, I would have just sneaked out to a friend's house back home instead of coming all the way here. I've done it in the past. I don't know. It's just..the more time passed, the more and more I missed you. I just couldn't take it anymore."
Madison took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "I know that we've only been..you know..more than friends for a couple days, but I've known you for years. i have to tell you something. I don't just like you, Justin. I love you." She opened her eyes again and looked down into his own. "I mean, you're my best friend, and you know me better than anybody else. So, yea." She smiled.

They went downstairs and he grabbed a bunch of stuff from the fridge, putting it all on a plate and carrying it outside. He started up the grill and started to make an awesome lunch. He grilled steaks, made diced potatoes and some other grilled veggies. Once they were all done he plated it and brought it over to the patio table.
They ate by the pool and relaxed, then finally played around for a while, before his mom came out and had to ruin their fun. "Madison, We have to leave in about an hour." She walked back inside and Justin looked at Madison with sad eyes.
"I.. I don't want you to go." He said softly climbing out of the pool grabbing a towel and sitting in one of the chairs with his head buried in his hands.

She sat there for a few minutes, then kissed the top of Justin's head and went inside. She went upstairs and changed into some comfortable clothes for the plane ride, and came back downstairs with her things.
Tears were in her eyes, and she walked up to Justin. "It'll be fine, right? I'm sure we'll get to see each other again. Just hopefully with both of our parents' approval, and not in another three years." She pulled him into her arms and buried her face in his chest, not caring if his parents walked in and saw them or not. "I'm going to miss you so..so much. You have no idea."

As they said their goodbyes his parents tried to give them as much space as possible until his mom came in and said, "Okay Madison, Honey, We have to get going."
Justin looked at her, "So hopefully I'll talk to you on skype later?" After they agreed if they both had their computers they would skype he hugged her once more and let her go, holding onto her hand till the very last second letting their fingertips drift apart. He helped carry her stuff outside and load it into the car. They said one more short goodbye and his mom began pulling out of the driveway.
Justin stopped them at the end, running back down towards the car. He stopped when he got to Madison's window. He looked at his mom and thought, What the hell? He leaned in and kissed her then slowly pulled away and whispered, "I love you Madison."

Once at the airport, she said her goodbyes to Justin's mother. After hugging her one last time, Madison stepped on the plane. Before taking off, she pulled out her cellphone to text him: "I miss you already,".
She spent most of the plane ride home crying silently; the rest of the time she spent sleeping. She was grateful that none of the other passengers left her alone. She didn't want to talk to anyone anymore.
Once she got off the plane back home, she saw it was only her mother waiting there. She walked up and her mother pulled her into a hug. "I missed you so much, Madison. Let's get you home, and we'll talk on the way about your visit with Justin." Madison nodded, went to grab her luggage, then went to the car.
She told her mother about all the things that the two of them did, and how they both found out they liked each other. Her mother said nothing, just listened. Madison finished her story with, "Mom, I really do love him. I know I'm young, but I've known him for a while now. I want to see him again. Soon." Again, her mother said nothing. After a few minutes, her mother nodded. "I know, Baby. We'll see; we're having a family discussion tonight, including your father." Madison sighed, knowing that probably meant her father would tell her she could never see Justin again.

His mom and dad both sat down to talk with him. They made sure he knew how serious what he did was and that they were not happy with him. His mom decided, "As for your punishment, you're grounded for the week, school and practice only...then you're coming straight home."
Justin nodded and accepted his punishment then headed back upstairs. While laying in bed he text Madison, "I miss you, a lot. How were your parents?"

Her mother saw how much she really did care for Justin, and went up to her bedroom to talk to her more. "You know, sweetie, my parents didn't approve of your father, either. I once ran away to go seem him, too. I know how you're feeling," she said with a smile. "I'll call Justin's mom tomorrow, and see if we can't come with some sort of arrangement to set up regular visitation between the two of you."
Madison sat there, shocked while her mother told her about her mom and dad. She jumped up and hugged her mom. "You're the best. I know I don't tell you enough, but you are. I love you."
When her mom left, she checked her phone and noticed Justin's message. She smiled, and sent a message back, "I miss you, too. My parents really weren't that bad, surprisingly. Mom even said she was going to call your mom tomorrow to see about regular visits! What about your parents?"

The next day school was boring and monotonous. Nothing exciting ever happened on mondays and he hadn't studied a bit for his chem test that weekend so he was kind of screwed. Afterwards, he went to practice and from there straight home like his parents expected. He didn't want to risk any future visits with Madison by not abiding to the rules.
That afternoon when he got home there was a print out of a flight confirmation on the fridge, Justin read it, American Airlines, June 23, Madison Richardson It was the day school let out. He yelled up to his mom that she was awesome and immediately text Madison. "You're coming back? Yessss!"

After practice, she went straight home like she was told since she was grounded. She kept Justin at the back of her mind, not wanting to ruin any chances to see him again. She opened the front door, and noticed her mom trying to keep a straight face. She definitely got the poor poker face from her mother. "Hey, Momma. Did you talk to Justin's mom? Or am I just getting my hopes up as to why you're smiling from ear to ear?" "I am not!" her mother replied while laughing. "Yes, dear, I called his mom." Madison's mom handed her a piece of paper. It was a flight confirmation for June 23 to go see Justin. Madison squealed and jumped on her mom, hugging her. "You're the best, Mom!! This is the BEST graduation gift EVER!"
She ran upstairs, threw her book bag down, and opened her phone to text Justin about the news. However, she was too late as she read Justin's text first. She responded by saying, "I know!! How great is that!! I love you :)" She pulled out her books and began to do her homework.

The week flew by and before he knew it it was thursday morning, Madison would be there that afternoon. He could barely sit through school, let alone his finals all day. When the bell rang he went home and got ready to go the airport. On the way he grabbed a bouquet of flowers and got to the airport a little early. He sat relaxing while he waited. When he saw her come through the gate he stood up quickly and ran over picking her up off her feet hugging her tightly. "I missed you so much." He said kissing her.
"What do you want to do tonight? Did you eat? We can go for food or whatever." He smiled just excited to be with her again.

She closed her eyes and leaned her head back. She hadn't slept the night before; she was too excited. But now that she was here in the truck, she could feel herself starting to slip away into dreamland.

Justin was a little tired too, he hadn't slept much the night before but he was okay with that, at least he got to see Madison again. They got to the restaurant and had a nice dinner then headed back home to his house. They figured they'd have an easy night and hung out swimming late at night and then watched a movie in Justin's room where they both fell asleep within about ten minutes.
The next morning they woke up and Justin's mom had left them some passes for the water park so they got ready together and headed there. Justin wasn't as worried about Madison having an amazing couple of days like last time but since his mom had left the passes. "We can do whatever you want tomorrow." He offered feeling bad they had been there the last time she visited.

She ginned at Justin. "See? Just as much fun." She giggled. She felt as though she were on cloud 9, she was so happy. She still couldn't believe everything that was happening. "But now I'm starving. Why don't we just go through the drive-thru somewhere and pick something up to take back to your house?" They went to a fast food place and ordered burgers and fries then went back to the house.
"So, now what would you like to do, my dear? Watch a movie for 10 minutes before falling asleep again?" She laughed as she remembered last night.

"Tomorrow my parents will be out of town so we can do whatever here. We can cook dinner together and just hang out." He offered.
They decided on going to the party so they both took a shower and then got ready. Justin wore some jeans and a teeshirt, with a hoodie and left his hair to do whatever. He waited for her and then sped out to his friends house. The party was out in a field with a big bonfire and a few coolers but a lot of the people who were there when they went to the beach were there. A few of the guys said hi to Madison and Justin gave them dirty looks and wrapped his arm around her back.

Madison was having so much fun talking to everyone. Music was playing loudly and she would find herself dancing by herself or with the other girls. She kept looking back at Justin, smiling and waving. After a few minutes, she walked up to Justin and grabbed his hands. "Dance with me," she whispered. She wrapped her arms around his neck and started dancing, not giving him a chance to get out of dancing with her.

Justin groaned as Madison forced him to come out and dance with her. He wasn't a dancer, but he guessed he'd do it for Madison. He smiled a little bit as he wrapped his arms around her waist and moved to the music with her. He talked softly, whispering in her ear, making sure she was having a good time and telling her how happy he was that she was here.
As the song ended and another one started he stayed dancing with her, he was actually having fun. He leaned in during the song and whispered, "I know you love me and all, but will you officially be my girlfriend Madison?" He was nervous she wouldn't want to do the long term relationship thing but he had to ask, it was bothering him and hopefully bothering her too.

Madison continued dancing with him and talking to people. She had a really good time at the bonfire, and was glad that Justin had taken her there. She felt like she was on cloud nine for the rest of the night after he asked her to be his girlfriend; she felt as if she were the luckiest girl in the world. Madison already knew that many of the girls in Dallas were jealous of her, but she didn't care.
Later, the party was ending so Justin and Madison went back to the house. She pulled Justin upstairs to his bedroom. "I want to talk to you about college. Who says we can't go to the same one? I mean, I really don't know what I want to do yet, so I could probably just go to any school that I want to and major as Undecided for a little while until I figure it out."

"I want nothing more than to be able to be with you all the time, but I don't want to hold you back." He said softly relaxing with her and trying to have a calm conversation about school.

But now, the thought of being able to be with Justin all the time was her dream. She would be on cloud nine being able to see him whenever she wanted, and not just one weekend every so often.
